I just got an electrolysis test patch done this past saturday. I got some crazy swelling that hasn't 100% receded yet, I think it's normal in my case since I also used to get it during laser and it never left any scar or any other side effect. I also got some yellow ooze & a few whiteheads which also seem to be normal from what I've read. But I've gotten like 3/4 larger than average scabs, they all fell off while washing my face 2/3 days after the session, some yesterday that seemed to have left a small pit behind, the pit seems mostly gone now. They all fell of when I washed my face before going to bed. Should I avoid washing my face until all the scabs have fallen off? Also, I seem to have some hyperpigmentation left, how long does it last? I have fair skin, I can dm the pictures.
Edit: My technician told me it was fine to wash my face with a gentle face wash, and to not pick at the scabs, but I don't recall anything about when/how they should fall off.

Include a photo if relevant I have been dealing with what now seems like gallbladder issues, my hida scan back in August showed a 86% EF I been complaining about pain on my left rib side for almost a year, wasn't until June of 2023 when I went to the ER thinking I was having a heart related issue and was dismissed. Forward to August and again back at ER with chest pain, arm pain back pain and warm feeling on my stomach. At that time they did a bunch of tests to see if I had a clot or something else. Everything came back negative including the US. Then I got a hida scan which showed 86%EF. Felt better but it didn't go away. Forward to a couple of weeks ago and back at the ER, after hours of blood work and US they found sludge on my gallbladder. Ever since I've had a bunch of different symptoms
Pain on RUQ that goes to the back, stabbing pain. Also feel it on the left lower rib cage.
A really bad taste in my mouth feels like when you throw up and have nothing but that sour nasty yellow goo on your stomach.
I had joint pain, tingling on my feet and toes. Skin feels like I have bengay on it.

I have not been eating much since 2 weeks and symptoms are worse as time passes. I have surgery scheduled for the 21st of June but is this all related to the gallbladder? I been researching and reading and there are a bunch of symptoms that are caused by the Gallbladder but I'm going crazy here. ER doesn't find anything and I'm out of ideas.

I was reading an article today about James Gunn's new design for Superman's iconic outfit and how they think that he shouldn't be reinventing his outfit so much. Although they said the new design wasn't terrible, it also wasn't anything outstanding to look at. So this got me thinking on how they could possible redesign his outfit, while still keeping the same color scheme and his iconic S symbol on his chest, while also changing it up some and keeping it new. I tried Googling this and nothing came up and I'm no Superman lore expert, so please tell me if this goes against everything for his character. Basically my idea for Superman's outfit shouldn't be an outfit at all. Instead of him using his superspeed to change into his iconic blue and red outfit, he now has the power of changing his skin color to the blue and red colors and then regarding his iconic S shape, he now has this ingrained into his chest anatomy, maybe the chest bones are kind of S shaped, but turn a golden yellow color once the rest of his skin changes color to highlight this area. Regarding his cape, I'd assume it just sort of grows out of his shoulders or appears sort of like he's manifesting it onto himself. And then of course the whole gential area comes into question, obviously he can't be slinging D like Dr Manhattan, so I'd just assume he sort of goes full Ken mode and it's just not there, unless you really wanna go R rated then by all means turn that area into the mighty Red Son. So yeah, that's my idea for a redesign of his outfit. The closest character that I could think of that was like this was again Dr Manhattan, but I couldn't find any pictures of Superman with blue and red skin and no outfit, and I'm not a great artist to draw this up, so I apologize. But I was just curious if this sounds like a good idea for a costume redesign or if it's just a silly thought.
TL:DR. Superman doesn't change into his outfit anymore, but instead changes his skin color to match the red and blue color scheme while his chest bones form the shape of the S, they glow golden-yellow in color, and his cape grows out of him or just appears.

So I took a sibo test , and I sent it of , however my symptoms are so confusing.Going to zoom through it all in April 2023 I got salmonella through it all up , no diarrhoea .3 or 4 months later went away again and urgency with going to the toilet started to turn up,which got to the point I couldn’t stop going to the toilet, got so bad I got hemmaroids which is now a skin tag 🥲 .Fast forward to now , my symptoms are alternating constipation to diarrhoea , it’s either type 2 , type 5,6 or 7 .Aswell as that gas , sometimes floating stools , undigested food in stool as well as yellow stools and heart burn .Doctor currently suggested to go dairy free so that’s what I’ll be doing for 6 weeks , I’ve never had a problem with diary but worth a try .Looking for justification for doing the test since my symptoms are strange and I haven’t got that bad of bloating as other people .This thing is ruining my life I’ve skipped class , lost my will to keep going and you know tons of money currently spent 250 on doctor and then 150 on the sibo test .Was it worth it to try and to do the test .I’m just suspicious since my stool is from a type 2 all the way to type 7 .

I'm sure we've been though this several times but I wanna give more detail of how I would do it:

• Skins of the main six rangers (red, blue, black, yellow, pink, and green) Their weapons as their harvesting tools. They would have built-in emotes of their famous posing.
• The green ranger dagger has a built-in emote letting you play it.
• Green Ranger shield as separate backbling for others to wear.
• Maybew a skin of the original Dino Megazord with the Power Sword as it's harvesting tool. Would be revealed in a trailer where it shows up to help Mecha Team Leader against the Devourer and other monsters.
• We'd have some villains as skin. I would personally love to have Goldar. If other can't be skins at least give us their stuff like Rita's wand and Zedd's staff.
• Not sure what to have as the gliders yet. Except for Goldar having his wings.
• Odviously a Power Ranger lightning bolt banner is a must.

I (55M) have a son (15M) who's severely autistic. He is mostly nonverbal, using one or two word sentences. He really doesn't have much in his life that he likes or is obsessed with other than sprinkling things with his hands.
When he's at home for the day, we usually go on a long walk in order to get him out of the house and get some sun. We usually walk through the dog park nearby because he likes seeing the dogs and he has this uncanny ability to attract them. Dogs LOVE this kid. They come running to him for loving as soon as they see him and he pets them and lets them lick his hands and face (ugh).
Today we were walking in the dog park and it was fairly crowded. I saw a Corgi puppy. Corgis are my favorite dog and corgi puppies are like my kryptonite. So I'm petting and playing with this puppy not wanting the moment to end. I know that I need to ask permission first but like I said, I'm willing to take my lumps for a corgi puppy.
A lady walks up and tells me that's her puppy and starts chatting me up. We're chatting a little and I notice that the skin on her face is a little too smooth and shiny and her lips are a little too puffy, which kind of makes her look really weird to me, but she seems friendly and we talk about corgis.
So I start to leave and she stops and asks for my phone number. I'm always flattered when that happens, but I show her my wedding ring but then I notice that she's got an engagement ring and a wedding band on her finger. My mind automatically goes to infidelity mode. I have experience with infidelity in my life and I don't really like cheaters, to put it mildly. Whether or not she was thinking infidelity I have no idea, I must confess. Maybe IATAH for thinking that.
Just then, my son starts squealing and jumping up and down flapping his arms like a bird (kind of). He does that when he's excited and it's because he saw his first chocolate Labrador retriever. He likes labs and he's only ever seen yellow ones and black ones. The chocolate Lab is licking his face while he's laughing and squealing.
I'm usually pretty understanding when complete strangers are startled by my son's behavior because I'm used to it but a 5' 9" man sized human who's squealing, jumping up and down, and flapping his arms would rattle anyone. So normally it's no big deal to me if there's a negative reaction.
So the lady who asked for my number says something like "who brought that to the dog park" or something like that and I was triggered.
I tell her he's with me and start to walk away as she sort of stands there with that look of disgust on her face.
I just couldn't let it go.
So I said really loud so that people around us could hear.
"NO! I WILL NOT HAVE SEX WITH YOU IN THE DOG PARK, GEEZ!"
I start walking off and she sputters out something loudly like I'm an old geezer (I'm 55) and dream on.
So I yell "STOP FLIRTING WITH ME!!!"
My son and I walk off and she looks mortified.
I was talking to my wife about it later on and she told me that the move I pulled was totally stupid and made me look like a crazy asshole. She did agree that the lady might have been flirting with me, though.

Was a theater kid growing up, but I obviously just starred in whatever musical my teachers were throwing on and never really got into them of my own accord. But I'm watching the SpongeBob musical for inspiration for a movie I'm filming this summer, and was very curious about the costume design in particular - which seems to have been driven by a "character-themed humans" philosophy. No one is "animal-colored". Plankton is just a puppet on the staff of a Plankton-themed supervillain. It's interesting because extremely stylized characters are clearly not an alien idea to theater; a passing Google search returns a bright green Shrek and Rafiki getting the full red/blue treatment. I can understand wanting to humanize your characters - I think I want to do that for my production this summer too, and there are some decisions that go above and beyond humanization that I still understand - like giving SpongeBob a yellow shirt rather than a white one so that he still is a "yellow character" despite having white skin. But there are others that I don't understand, and I guess what I'm trying to ask is if they are decisions that push the design closer to some sort of theater status quo (which obviously wouldn't ring familiar for me). Giving Mr. Krabs boxing gloves instead of crab claws - is that a theater thing? I would argue that, even if you're trying to humanize your characters, bald caps for Patrick and Squidward, rather than dyed hair, and maybe a headpiece for Mr. Krabs, would be better expressions of the characters' identities. But then I wonder how important those identities even really were to the producers - they seem to want to move away from them in small but meaningful ways in order to carve out their own, like by putting purple squares on Patrick's shorts instead of flowers, and making SpBob's pants plaid - or are these just other theater things? But hello, I was just kind of wanting to get another thought on this leg wound I got about 3ish weeks ago. I think it's healing but I'm not completely sure... my mom thinks it still looks infected.
Backstory is that I was picking up a board from the recent storms here in Nebraska (4/26) and I lost my grip and dropped it on my leg, not realizing there was a nail sticking out. Luckily I did not puncture myself, but I did get a small scrape. I immediately cleaned it and bandaged the wound (it bled a tiny bit).
Wound looks like it's healing, it's red and itchy but it's not spreading or anything. Seemed to be closing up too. I kept it clean, was keeping it covered, etc. And then Tuesday May 7th, I pull off the bandage and I noticed I had a second wound next to the original and it was definitely infected. I think I wasn't letting the wound breathe enough and I think the bandaids irritated my skin causing a second wound. The original wound did not seem to be infected from what I could tell.
I immediately contacted my doctor who prescribed cephalexin (2x for 5 days, 500mg) and I finished that Sunday May 12th. Obviously I stopped using the bandaids and switched to gauze pads and I'm letting it breathe when I can. It cleared up the second wound... but now it looks like the original wound might be infected now??
There is no yellow discharge coming from the wound, but there is yellowish discharge on the gauze pad when I remove it. There is a clear discharge coming from the wound which I know is normal and part of healing so that doesn't concern me. I know some yellow discharge could be normal, but this seems like an odd amount and the wound is still pretty red, and it's a bit itchy/stingy. There is a small amount of bleeding as well but it comes and goes and it's flaking a little bit. The second wound seems to be healing fine.
I contacted my doctor this morning (5/14) and I'm just waiting for a response. Thank you!!

The scene opens with a striking panel of Light Yagami, now an old man with graying hair and wrinkled skin, sitting alone in a dimly lit room. His face is partially obscured by shadows, but his eyes burn with a familiar intensity.
In the next panel, a close-up shot shows Light's gnarled hand gripping an ornate black notebook - the Death Note itself. The pages are yellowed and frayed from decades of use. Light's lips curve into a slight smirk as he flips open the notebook, ready to write a new name.
The panels then cut to a series of stylized sequences as Light meticulously writes his own name in the Death Note. Each stroke of the pen is given dramatic focus, with sharp inks and dynamic angles highlighting the tension of the moment.
As Light finishes writing the last stroke of his name, the scene shifts to show the demonic Shinigami Ryuk looming over him. Ryuk's perpetual grin seems even more unsettling than usual as he remarks in his trademark raspy voice, "So, you're really going through with this, Light?"
Light doesn't flinch, keeping his eyes locked on the Death Note as he replies coolly, "Of course. I've spent my life outsmarting you Shinigami and defying the rules of this cursed notebook. Killing myself on my own terms is the ultimate way to transcend death itself."
The panels then zoom in on Light's face, his expression a mixture of grim determination and smug satisfaction. "Just you watch, Ryuk. In 200 years, when my death is finally carried out, I'll use that opportunity to break free from the reaper's grasp forever."
Ryuk throws back his head and lets out a raucous laugh that seems to shake the entire room. "You never cease to amaze me, Light Yagami. Very well, I'll be watching with great interest to see if you can actually pull this off."
The scene ends with a striking final panel that shows Light's name being slowly enveloped by ominous black ink, leaving only his maniacal grin visible in the darkness, as if to suggest that even after two centuries, his thirst for power over death itself remains unbroken.

20 year old male.
So this week i was eating foods high in fat /oily food and on monday my stool was solid and had 2 shades of brown. Lighter and darker. Now apparently this is normal and ot can be old stool mixed with new fresh stool. Well yesterday and today i had mushy stool taht was light brown but when i wipe it is kinda yellow. Now apparently, that also is normal and it is like when you smear mud amd ot becomes yellow.
But curiosity was stronger so i had to google about yellow stool and sticky stool (accidentaly got some and after washing with water it felt sticky until i washed with soap immediantely. Now this might be fat? Fatty stool?). I have health anxiety and i thought it is my liver.
7 months ago i had an abdominal uktrasound unrelated to liver or anything and tehy found out i have non alcoholic fatty liver (i mean, i guess because i dont drink alcohol). Apparently it is normal since i am overweight. I weight 80kg and am 171 cm tall. Now in those 7 months i didnt do much. I didnt get fit honestly because of constant work. Now apparently, in order for fatty liver to cause bile issues or other scary things it takes more than 7 months. We are talking years, correct me if i am wrong.
I dont believe it is bile duct obstruction or anything like that because wouldnt i feel pain then?
I do not have any other symptoms like pain or skin/eye yellowing... Could these stools be related to fatty foods? Ik this isnt the first time it happened but health anxiety is a bitch

I’m pretty sure this might be an olive problem so I’m hoping you guys will be able to help!
I’m 99% sure I’m olive with a yellow overtone. (I think I’m warm but to be honest I go back and forth on that regularly).
At first glance I look fairly muted. Muted brown eyes, medium brown hair, fair skin, nothing really stands out.
And yet, when I wear muted colours, I seem to become even more muted in a way that I think makes me look washed out rather than harmonious.
How do I work out whether it’s just personal preference or if I actually really don’t suit muted tones? Is it the olive that means ‘greyed out’ colours make me look like the walking dead?
In the opposite direction, how do I know if really bright colours overwhelm me or if it’s just a shock to see myself in them? Bright red lipstick for example?
I’d love to know how people feel olive skin affects how they suit bright vs muted colours, or if you think it doesn’t have any effect at all!

So this week i was eating foods high in fat /oily food and on monday my stool was solid and had 2 shades of brown. Lighter and darker. Now apparently this is normal and ot can be old stool mixed with new fresh stool. Well yesterday and today i had mushy stool taht was light brown but when i wipe it is kinda yellow. Now apparently, that also is normal and it is like when you smear mud amd ot becomes yellow.
But curiosity was stronger so i had to google about yellow stool and sticky stool (accidentaly got some and after washing with water it felt sticky until i washed with soap immediantely. Now this might be fat? Fatty stool?). I have health anxiety and i thought it is my liver.
7 months ago i had an abdominal uktrasound unrelated to liver or anything and tehy found out i have non alcoholic fatty liver (i mean, i guess because i dont drink alcohol). Apparently it is normal since i am overweight. I weight 80kg and am 171 cm tall. Now in those 7 months i didnt do much. I didnt get fit honestly because of constant work. Now apparently, in order for fatty liver to cause bile issues or other scary things it takes more than 7 months. We are talking years, correct me if i am wrong.
I do not have any other symptoms like pain or skin/eye yellowing... Could these stools be related to fatty foods? Ik this isnt the first time it happened but health anxiety is a bitch

One of the lesser known and discussed components to David Kibbe’s approach to developing an authentic personal style is his color system.
What I think is quite unique about his approach is that it is rooted in color theory. I know that sounds kind of obvious… aren’t all personal color systems rooted in color theory? Not quite in the same way, no.
To go back to the absolute basics of color theory we start with the foundational concept of Primary Colors; Red, Yellow and Blue. Where In color theory; Yellow is Warm, Blue is Cool and Red is Neutral.
Disclaimer: Yes! There’s such thing as a Warm Blue or a Cool Yellow. David gives every season their own version of Yellow and Blue. However, we’re referencing a *pure** version of these colors - not a blend.*
So when we say “cool toned” this means the colors have a blue base since blue is cool. The same can be said for the concept of “warm toned” which means the colors have a yellow base since yellow is warm.
Now, nobody’s skin tone is literally yellow (we’re not lemons) or literally blue (we are not lizards). We are a complex blend of pigments that create a unique mix of tones within our skin, hair and eyes. What we’re looking to determine with our personal coloring here is wether we have a blue (cool) or golden (warm) undertone. With our hair and eyes providing extra clues but our undertone being the most important factor to consider.
Before we launch into the **Metamorphosis excerpt on David’s approach to personal color, I would like to pause and remind us all, that, as with all things Kibbe, it bares reminding that it is essential we leave all prior ideas on colouring aside and approach this process with a sense of playful exploration and curiosity. Our personal coloring just as our Kibbe ID is part of what makes us uniquely beautiful. So it’s not about there being a “correct” or “incorrect” answer. It’s about celebrating what is innate to us.*

Discovering the magic of your coloring

So much has been written in recent years about your coloring and "having your colors done" that I simply can't take you through this journey without a brief detour in this often confusing area.
As a firm believer in the beauty of our natural coloring, I've always felt that it should be enhanced and prized as one of our greatest gifts from Nature. Since I could be described as one of the pioneers of the modern color movement, I've worked long and hard to educate the public about the possibilities and systems that exist to make working with your coloring easy, clear, exciting, and most of all, fun!
In the past few years, I've watched many variations spring up on the basic theme of personal color analysis. As in all extremely popular fields, some of the "new" variations are simply gimmicks de- signed to cash in on the latest fad, while others bear at least some validity.
For my money, however, the basic system of the seasonal color theory originally developed by Johannes Itten of the Bauhaus School is still far and away the most effective.
This theory divides your coloring into four basic categories named after the seasons, based on two parts of your genetic makeup: (1) the undertone of your skin, which is blue or golden and functions as the "base" of your coloring; and (2) the in- tensity of your coloring, which has to do with the type of "contrast" between your hair. skin, and eyes.
Simply put, your "season" is a general description of the type of coloring you inherited and the palette of colors that will enhance it. Each "season" represents a family of colors that consists of over two million shades within the palette. Here's a brief description of each:

Winter

Blue undertone to the skin. High-contrast coloring (distinct difference between the hair, skin, eyes).
Palette: Cool, clear colors. Blue-based shades with sharp intensity. A jewel-toned palette ranging from vivid colors to very pale, icy shades.
Person: The hair is usually dark (a solid color as opposed to visibly highlighted) with an ash base, and the skin and eyes are quite clear.
Celebrities: Elizabeth Taylor, Cher, Diahann Carroll, Connie Chung.

Summer

Blue undertone to the skin. Blended contrast (the hair, skin, eyes tend to blend together).
Palette: Cool, muted colors. Blue- based shades with a saturated intensity. A dusty palette ranging from pastels to very deep shades.
Person: The hair is usually medium dark to medium light (a dense color with a very subtle highlight) with an ash base, and the skin tone is saturated while the eyes are softly muted.
Celebrities: Grace Kelly, Queen Elizabeth, Jane Fonda.

Autumn

Golden undertone to the skin. Contrast is medium to high, but characterized by richness.
Palette: Warm, intense colors. Yellow based shades with a heavy saturation of richness. A fiery palette ranging from very vivid, hot shades to a few softly muted neutrals.
Person: The hair is usually a richly highlighted shade with a red base, ranging from very deep chestnut to fiery auburn to a very deep honey. The skin tone is rich and saturated (ranging from very pale to very deep) and the eyes are a mixture of marbelized color.
Celebrities: Natalie Wood, Ann-Margret, Diane Keaton, Katharine Hepburn, Shari Bela- fonte-Harper.

Spring

Golden undertone to the skin. Contrast is delicate, but sharp.
Palette: Warm and clear colors. Yellow based shades with a light, bright intensity. A vibrant pal ette ranging from very fresh, vivid shades to a few clear pales.
Person: The hair is usually a medium dense shade (with a subtle natural highlight) and a golden or red base, ranging from medium golden brown to strawberry to golden blond. The skin tone is clear and delicate, and the eyes are crisp.

Draping the Seasons

Question: How can I determine my "season"? Can I tell by just looking at myself in the mir ror? Can I tell by looking at the underside of my wrists?
Not really. The best way to objectively determine your season is with the help of three or four friends. To correctly determine your season, you've got to first determine both the undertone of your skin (blue or golden), and then the type of contrast between your hair, skin, and eyes. The only way to accurately do this is by a process called "draping," whereby you drape selected shades of fabric under your chin and compare the color of the fabric to the colors in your face. You cannot determine your undertone by simply looking at your wrist because you are merely viewing the "shade" of your skin tone, as opposed to the undertone or base coloration.
In the draping process, you discover your skin's undertone by an indirect method. The aim is to enhance the undertone of your skin by using a complementary base color from the selected fabric.
Here's how to do this: With a group of three or four friends, assemble the following large swaths of fabric:

Four shades of green:

a) a blue-based emerald green (clear and vivid)
b) a blue-based sen green (soft and dusty)
c) a yellow-based mossy green (rich and in- tense)
d) a yellow-based bright chartreuse (light and clear)

Four shades of red:

a) a blue-based scarlet (clear and vivid)
b) a blue-based dusty raspberry (soft and muted)
c) a yellow-based tomato (rich and intense)
d) a yellow-based bright poppy (light and clear)

Four shades of blue:

a) a blue-based royal (clear and vivid)
b) a blue-based cornflower (soft and dusty)
c) a yellow-based teal (rich and intense)
d) a yellow-based bright aqua (light and clear)

Four shades of pink:

a) a blue-based fuchsia (vivid and clear)
b) a blue-based dusty rose (soft and muted)
c) a yellow-based salmon (rich and intense)
d) a yellow-based bright coral (light and bright)
Now drape each other in these colors, following the order in which they're listed. As you're watching this process, be sure to focus on the person's face, not the color. (Remember, you're seeking to discover which color brings the person out, not sim- ply the color you like best.)
In the right shade, you'll watch the person's skin tone become smooth and clear; shadows will seem to miraculously disappear!
In the wrong shades, the color will reflect onto the person's face; you'll notice the color, not the person.
Have your friends vote on what they're seeing. You'll nearly always find the consensus of others to be correct. (Your own opinion may be somewhat prejudiced by color preferences and the thought of having to change your wardrobe!)
If the consensus is that the colors of group a tested best on you consistently, you are a "Winter." If the consensus is toward group b, you are a "Summer." If the consensus is toward group c, you are an "Autumn"; and if the consensus is toward group d, then you are a "Spring."
NOTE: It's very important to perform this draping ceremony in natural light, so be sure you work near a large window with good sun exposure. Also, if your hair has been artificially colored, or has any chemical processing on it such as perms or waves, be sure to cover it with a white turban or bandanna. This will prevent your altered haircolor from throwing any shadows on your face, which could result in a misanalysis. This is crucial in determining your season, so don't forgo it in the name of vanity! Since the skin tone is a much subtler color than your hair, it's very easy to simply match the shades of fabric to the hair, rather than to the complexion. Also, be sure you remove all traces of makeup before you begin!

Questions & Answers

Q. Can I be a mixture of seasons!
A. No, you cannot. It's genetically impossible! Each "season" refers to a specific type of coloring, of which there are only four. For example, you cannot have a mixture of a golden and a blue undertone. Since the undertone functions as the base of your skin tone, it determines whether the shade of skin you have is either warm or cool. A color can only have one base, whether it's skin color, haircolor, fabric, a cosmetic shade, or even the paint on your wall!
The basic law of abstract color theory states that the base of a color determines its shade. For example, a burgundy red has a blue base. It is this blue base that actually causes the shade to be burgundy instead of some other shade of red, say tomato red or rust. Likewise, a mossy green is caused by a yellow base, while an emerald green is emerald because its base is blue! Your skin tone is exactly the same. An olive skin is always caused by a blue undertone. That's why it's olive and not a tawny beige (which is caused by a golden undertone). On the other hand, an ivory skin tone has a golden base, which is what makes it ivory instead of porcelain (which is caused by a blue undertone). There isn't a single individual-dead, alive. or yet to be born who possesses a mixture of undertones. It simply can not happen!
Q. What about "intensity"? Can I be a mixture of the "cools" (WinteSummer) or the "warms" (Autumn/Spring)!
A. No, you cannot. As with the undertone, you have one type of intensity to your coloring. High contrast coloring needs clear shades to enhance and bring it out effectively. Blended coloring needs a saturation of color to allow the subtlety of your coloring to show through gracefully. Mixing the clear colors with the dusty tones only negates your particular type of coloring.
Moreover, the palettes themselves simply don't mix effectively when you translate them into clothing and cosmetics. If you were to try to create color combinations of the cool Winter and Summer palettes, for example, you would never be able to effectively combine the jewel tones of Winter with the elegantly dusty shades of Summer. Since the palettes are of opposing intensities, the shades themselves are not at all complementary. Any resulting outfits of clothing would simply be a hodgepodge of mismatched colors!
Even more disasterous would be an attempt to mix the tones in cosmetics. For a makeup to be successful, you absolutely must keep all the colors on your face in one family of color, both in terms of the base and the intensity. Mixing them is akin to wearing a shocking pink blouse with a bright orange lipstick! While the result might not always be this glaring, opposite color families do not blend together!
Q. But I've had my colors done "professionally," and I was told I'm a mixture. Why would that have happened?
A. Basically, that means one of two things. Either you were analyzed incorrectly, which is, unfortunately, becoming quite common because of improper training and a lack of experience among color consultants, or it's simply a question of semantics.
Frequently, in an effort to delineate among the specific shades that you can actually wear effectively (be cause of the variations in individual skin tone, hair, and eye colors that exist within a season), color consult ants have attempted to make your palette as specific to you as possible. This sometimes manifests in your being labeled a mixture of seasons or having a "subseason." While this is technically incorrect, since the colors within the seasonal palettes do not actually blend with the other palettes, the result is usually a way of defining the range of shades within your season that appear most exciting on you.
From my experience, based on analyzing thousands of clients over a number of years, I simply find it too inaccurate and confusing to try to suggest to my clients that they "mix" the palettes. It's not helpful in a practical sense, for it doesn't actually add any colors that they can effectively work with in clothing, cosmetics, or haircolor. And, since it's technically incorrect, as I previously stated, I find that the clients who come to our salon with a "mixture" of colors nearly always have either a diluted appearance, in terms of focus, or they have a lot of mistakes hanging in their closets! Can my "contrast" change with age?
Q. What about as my hair turns gray? Does this change my season?
A. No, your season never changes with age, or anything else! As your hair begins to gray, Nature is not only changing your haircolor, but is also changing your skin tone and eyes at the same time. The balance among these three elements always remains the same. For example, if you're a mature Vivid Winter, like actress Bea Arthur, the balance among your haiskin/eyes is best described as high contrast. You have a vivid haircolor, a fair skin, and an intense eye color. True, your haircolor is not the same as when you were twenty years old, when it was probably a deep brunette, but you've maintained the high contrast coloring you were born with. As your hair began to gray, it didn't turn a dull or mousy shade of gray, but rather went a brilliant silver, didn't it? Your skin and eyes have actually gotten lighter at the same time, even though this difference is probably imperceptible to you. Do yone that your high contrast has not changed at all! You still have a vivid haircolor, a fair skin, and an in- ten eye color. Your balance has remained the same! You are still a Vivid Winter, and the colors that focus your specific coloring are still cool and clear!
Whatever your season, Nature created your haiskin/eyes as a unit. They always change together, and the balance among them never changes That's why your season never changes!
Q. Does my season have anything to do with style? For example, I read somewhere that Winters should stick to solids and geometrics, while Autumns are very good in tweeds and textures.
A. Not in the least! Having your colors done has absolutely nothing to do with anything other than determining what your skin tone is and which palette of colors to work with to enhance it. It tells you nothing more specific than the range of colors to use. Your specific clothing choices (including fabrics and textures, as well as shapes and lines), makeup shades, and haircolor range all come from developing your personal style through discovering your Image Identity.
For example, Autumns are frequently told to concentrate on use of textures in their wardrobe. Yet Ann-Margret is a Fiery Autumn, but as a Theatrical Romantic, I'd much rather see her in silks, satins, angora, and se quins than rough textures or tweeds any day of the year!
Having your colors done can be a wonderful and exciting addition to your life, and I highly recommend it when it's properly executed. Just be careful not to give it more importance than it's worth. Your coloring is only one part of you - it's worthy of being carefully looked at, but only within the contest of your total look.

My personal tip is to get a good grasp on basic color theory by understanding what blue based vs yellow based colors look like. A really creative and explorative way to approach this is by getting some paints out and mixing the tones to see how blue (cool) with added yellow (warm) transforms into a warm blue. The goal of the system isn’t to just wear the colors David has in his seasonal palettes - it’s to use these as a jumping off point. Each season can be quickly understood by what it’s characteristics evoke:

Winter (Cool) is Jewel

Spring (Warm) is Vibrant

Summer (Cool) is Lush

Autumn (Warm) is Fiery

A quick disclaimer!! No season gets boring muted colors. Everyone gets beautifully saturated colors! You won’t see the sad, drab and dull tones often seen in other seasonal color systems here! For example Summer is Lush in tone not muted and Autumn is fiery in tone, again not muted In any sense if the word.

Let’s talk about the defining characteristics tied to certain seasons

I want to preface this part, by reminding us all that much like our Kibbe ID, we are born with the innate characteristics we have ; we are who we are meant to be! And so it’s never a case of being relegated to certain IDs or color seasons based on certain characteristics. But, instead we are embarking on the journey to discover what has always been there with the objective of achieving harmony with ourselves and in doing so bringing out our unique beauty.
Brown eyes Brown eyes are a feature of high contrast coloring and therefore will always be a high contrast season; Autumn or Winter.
Naturally Ginger / Red hair Ginger / Red hair is a warm color (a mix of a golden base with added red) and therefore will always be a warm season; Spring or Autumn.
An Olive undertone Olive is always caused by a blue undertone, therefore it will always be Winter.
Naturally Blonde hair Blonde hair can be any season except for Winter which requires a high level of contrast between the features; Skin/HaiEyes.
The Color Black Black is considered a cool tone that casts a shade on its surrounds, due to its depth of contrast is only given to Winters as with Winters it enhances the clarity of coloring whether-as with all other seasons it muddies their coloring.
The Color White White, on the other hand is universally given to all seasons as it is considered a neutral.

Welcome to today’s briefing.
We are on the cusp of welcoming a new sentient species into the greater Galactic Community and this briefing is to give you the core knowledge needed to prepare you, and your teams, for the First Contact Event and the subsequent orientation diplomacy that, as always, follows such a existential shattering of the younger sentient species of the cosmos.
This species comes from a world with a robust biosphere with a significantly larger-than-median level of biodiversity. Its natural satellite is both unusually large and unusually low in density compared to the parent planet. While we have seen its like before we have never seen its like before around a world that developed a rich biosphere which generated intelligence.
The star is a boring yellow star but, interestingly enough, from the surface of the planet the natural satellite and the star appear the same size in the sky, allowing for a fairly unique celestial event to occur on this world; their language calls it an “eclipse.” Again, this is the only world that has developed intelligent life where such a phenomenon happens as, all of the other worlds, have a variance in perceived size between any natural satellites and their hosting star.
Their sentient species, again, unlike anywhere else, has a massive variance in the skin tone despite the consistency in their form and function of their bodies. Which, by the way, as you can see from this image, look remarkably like several of the other sentients species in the galaxy, thus re-affirming the reality of convergent evolution to create the same form to meet the same needs. Side note: this world seems to have several thousand species of crabs, which we all know are the most commonly evolved form on every world we have ever explored.
Their cultures are incredibly varied, far more so than any other individual world that has risen to join our ranks. We believe this is to accommodate the vast array of environments presented by their world’s unique configuration. None of their cultures are vastly different from ones we already know, but the collection of them, as a whole, developing independently on a single world is fascinating. As such we will be deploying anthropology teams to each of the regions and invest far more in understanding this world than we have ever had to do. The assignments and details, as well as briefings of the specific cultures you will be greeting, are as follows:
SEVERAL HOURS LATER
One last note of the greatest importance. This world is densely population. EVERY species on this world reproduces at a greater rate than anything we have seen before. We are certain this has led to the great biodiversity and the borderline overpopulation of the world as a whole. Our preliminary findings imply heavily, though our anthropology teams, that a unique evolutionary development has occurred on this world, in its primordial stages, to spread throughout the entire biosphere. They seem to LIKE the acts of genesis. They seem to conduct reproduction activities for fun. They have even developed technologies to prevent the biogenesis process itself after the reproduction actions have been completed.
We can summarize this behavior with three words:
