I don't really need the $10, I make plenty at work to have excess to put towards various ventures and fun now. But I'm practically dying over here in the corporate world not building anything for myself. I'm burdened by being a fairly competent generalist with a very diverse background. I can make my own website (but don't want to make one for others), can figure out my own SEO and marketing strategy, probably make videos/content for whatever I'm doing and build out social media accounts to at least a few hundred/thousand followers. Handle the legal side, accounting, funding, acquiring material/stock and dealing with vendors... damn near done everything at this point related to running small and mid size businesses (for other people's benefit.) I'm not a fan of direct sales pitches, but I'll deal with that along the way.
I'm good with my hands and building/crafting/design work. I spend most of my free time over in nostupidquestions because I love dabbling in literally everything. (aka: the "poison" that has prevented me from just knowing something specific I like to do.) Hell I've even spent a fair amount of time in here answering specific questions about running a business since I've filled so many roles in them.

My aunt gave me a bunch of paper bonds from when I was a kid and most of them are at full maturity (over 30 years old). I went to look up the value on TreasuryDirect and am confused by the results.
Many of the bonds I entered returned multiple results with different serial numbers. I assumed that the extra ones that did not match the serial shown on the bond are not applicable.
Using the single result, the return value seems really low. For example, it said a $100 bond from 1991 is only worth $157. If my math is correct, that's about 1.5% - way under the cost of inflation.
Am I reading/understanding something wrong or is this normal? Seems completely pointless (more like a total waste of money) to use bonds if this is what you get back from them.

I really need to thank you all for making me realise just how golden my parents and relatives are! I got 89.88% and my parents are so fucking happy like they took me out for dinner, they praised me and were feeling proud. Not only them but my whole extended family is also really happy and are praising me even those relatives whose child scored more than me are really happy with my result and only said “you’ll only do better than ever now. Keep working harder” like…I can’t imagine having parents or relatives like you guys describe. The ones that mock others and ones who only thinks numbers on a piece of paper is everything. I recently pirated Guilty Gear Strive from Steamrip and created 3 Microsoft alts to play it. All of them, within less than a day of being used to create and log on to an Xbox profile for Guilty Gear, got disabled probably because of that. I'm afraid that if I use my phone number to recover the accounts they would trace it back to my main account. Anyway to mask my activity from Microsoft better?

I get this error trying to log in.

Context:
I made a new personal account and now cannot log into it because of the phone verification feature.
When i try to send code by text it says that number has been used too many times, which is not true.
It was used only once initially to create the account. Now its just saying "This phone number cannot be used for verification."
I tried different numbers and none work, so I'm pretty much locked out of account and cannot use it.
Even trying to recover password redirects to the SMS page which doesn't allow anything.
Is there any way around it?

Hello! I’m here with another question. During ap i’m always scared because I don’t know how to wake up and I always ask my spirit guides for help. More than once someone appeared and told me something linked to this number. When I (18m) was 8 my family fell apart when it came out that my dad was sleeping with my mom's best friend. I found out a few hours before my mom did. I need to generate large amounts of complex and realistic test data and I need to adjust it according to changes every few months, but also have it set up for different use cases/customers. When I say large amounts I mean terrabytes of complex customer data. I'd usually use prod data and remove PII, but this time the loss of intricate relationships between data points makes the data useless. I need to preserve the relationships as much as possible. The simplest example for the kind of data I need is Geolocation data with country, zip, street name, latitude, longitude where they all are realistic existing locations, but they also match the phone number codes and currency of the country and the distribution of these entries is preserved. For example if a use case has 75% percent of addresses from Texas, then I need to generate it so. It's a long way to say that I can't use a faker and I can't use prod data in this way.
Could someone with experience give me some pointers in which direction should I start searching and experimenting? I know it's a buzzword, but maybe training a small LLM is the way to go? I could use prod data for training for sure. If so could you recommend some resources?

I had a plastic water bottle was fresh from the pack. ice, I just grabbed the first water bottle I saw on my desk to fill up my container. When I took a swig of it, I noticed an off taste and described it to a friend as what I imagine to be salty fish tank watefood. The after taste lingered a lot so I just thought it was because of the fermentation of the nonfat yogurt I had earlier.
Three hours later, when I got up to go to my desk, the bottle of activator I use for my slime was gone. I looked down and saw the empty water bottle sitting on the ground, the one I had poured the activator contents into my other bottle from. I made myself throw up, even though the internet told me not to and to go to the hospital instead. But like at that hour 💀? Hell naw, plus I wasn't really thinking straight and was running on human instinct, even if it’s not very well refined human instincts 😭 plus I saw someone say they drank a cup of bleach and were fine when doing “research” so I believed in myself to stay alive with not much of a problem.
I told my friends about everything ever since I tasted something weird in my water. Then when I told them I was actually drinking borax water, one of them forced me to call the poison control number smh 🙄😭 The person on the phone said I should be fine because it didn't seem like I ingested a lot, but they also said to go to the emergency room if my symptoms worsened.
Most interesting 5 hours I had to deal with about water. I never thought I’d be this stupid to ingest chemicals like this (°▽°)….
TL; DR: I fucked up by accidentally drinking borax water (slime activator) that I mistook for a fresh water bottle. I threw it up, then called poison control who said it should be okay, but to go to the ER if symptoms worsen.
And now I took a shower and in bed waiting for the worst, or not!? Hopefully the worst I get is a slight discomfort or nothing at all 💀🙏

I owe the community an apology. There are arguments on both sides, justifying what this token is and isn't. I'm one of those that have been scammed by new token launches too many times and I'm skeptical. This would be number 3 in the last few months all because of a launch pad that ruined my outlook on new projects. Crypto launches are one of the most under the radar cyber fraud outlets to date. I had high hopes here, because their website claimed that I had value somewhere around $50-60,000 in my investment. It delayed, and was pushed back.
Scam coins get away with what they do because at a certain point they just stop talking to the investors, the early hopeful individuals that imagine paying cash for houses and new cars are left eith nothing but fellow outraged community members sitting behind cell phones and computer monitors in disbelief that their purchase meant absolute f*ck all. Ive been there too many times, and at the time of Shiba Budz, once again I read through reddit posts and none of it made any sense why the devs said 15% liquidity and less than 1% was added. I thought, we're all screwed once again.
The airdrop finally coming through was a signal. Why would they airdrop if they only meant to scam? The price is garbage right now and having website issues only fueled it. 50k, gone. Dwindled down to $200, all over again. But.... I finally got my tokens. I am not saying that Im sorry for believing something untrue. You'd be much the same as I'm sure some of you have been victims to scams too. I guess, I'm sorry for doubting and falling victim to fear. I apologize to thr community for posting negative sentiments. But lets make this post absolutely crystal clear. It is not over, and people have yet to be able to claim their tokens.
Budz needs to step their game up, and do it now. Talk about the issues, talk about the progress. Address their downfalls, and keep people in the loop. Silence is maddening. A far cry from 50k, but god damn it I believed in this project when I bought into it, and if they continue to do right by the community I believe in it still. Cheers.

Is anyone renting a vehicle through Uber vehicle program? If so what is your rating? Here's why I asked: A friend drove for the first time a week ago, she rented a vehicle through uber vehicle rental she drove 1 week 150 rides 69, 5 start, 1 4 and 2 1 star because there was no music in the car and another claim to many stops and go. Considering its LA and the freeways are pretty much stop and go this rating system seems ridiculous..😆 and was told she couldn't dispute it now she cannot work because uber won't allow her to rent another vehicle because her rating is 2 points under 4.90. she tried filing a complaint but there no one to file a complaint to only offshore call center that does not understand what she is requesting. My opinion under should be shorted into the grown. The stock price should be much low considering how poorly drivers are treated.

There are days when lurking in tech forums, I come across boasts and humble-brags about "1 crore" packages that generate animate discussions. Like this recent post in this forum. In my role, I think I have peaked at just shy of the utopian package, but it is a conscious attempt to maintain my work-life balance and not be thrown into the 70-hour work-week culture.
Indian Techies are generally well compensated - compared to other white-collar professionals - yet the topic of salaries are front and center in most conversations. By all means 20-30-40 lakhs is still a huge amount in a country where a percentage of population is below poverty line.
By global standards, a 1-crore package is by no means astronomical... yet nothing to sneeze at. A $100K (or 80 lakh rupee) salary is still the mid-level for corporate American working professionals and for juniomid-level techies in corporate IT... and is also the watermark in much of Europe and UK. I am not calling out Silicon Valley roles that have always been outliers.
So, which are the IT roles in India drawing 1-crore package?

• Senior ‘IT Leadership’ roles – Delivery Center Heads, VPs, Senior Delivery managers responsible for P&L of large accounts with 1000 or more people
• Specialist roles with experience in niche technologies at multinationals may be offered a ‘sky high’ package for critical projects
• FAANG and Tech roles greater than L5/L6 in Amazon/Google/Microsoft and other Tech-product companies
• A few individual consultants with specialized skills

Of course, these packages come with tradeoffs in terms of work-life-balance, but that is another topic.

Those were the only words Corporal James Diogenes could think of to describe his current situation. Behind him, he watched as his comrades turning tail and running away.
“Cowards. Cowards one and all.”
He spit into the dirt towards his former allies then turned towards the other part of his problem.
Xenos. A large army of Xenos, one that was far more disciplined and had far more bodies than command had assumed. He couldn’t remember what they were called or even remember the name of the planet he was on. He couldn’t care for either topic. He wasn’t surprised that the Intel he and his colleagues had been fed was wrong, it often was, but never to this degree. The enemy outnumbered the imperial army forces at least 7 to 1 if not far more. Their tactics were similar to those employed by the imperial army but their population meant they could do more tactical maneuvers, on more fronts, at the same time.
Why the imperial navy didn’t annihilate those armies from orbit, James would never understand. Given his current situation he most likely wouldn’t get a chance to ask. He checked the magazine on his auto-gun, the rifle being rather old by the standards of the current imperial army but its age held up as it punched through most body armor he came across.
“…..Frak.”
He cursed again as he inspected the magazine. Three, maybe four rounds left before he was out? He looked over his shoulder and sighed. The cowards took the ammo with them along with any other supplies they could carry, leaving an empty trench and a few rows of rusty flay-wire.
And James but he chose to stay behind.
A low chuckle escaped him as that thought came to mind. He shook his head as he took his spot in the trench. He wouldn’t win this fight, he was sure of it, but by Terra and in the Emperor’s name he would make them bleed. He would make them hurt.
The few rounds he had in his magazine were gone in no times at all. Four enemies laying in the dust and being trampled by their friends was proof of that. He smiled grimly as he watched his enemies march towards him. They had all bowed their heads slightly, seemingly expecting more shots. That got him laughing. A few bullets and a whole army was shaking before him. He wondered if this is what the primarchs, the emperors daughters, felt like whenever they were on crusade.
He tossed his empty rifle to the side. His smile grew as he held his knife, gripping it tightly as he watched the advancing line of xeno scum. The leather of his glove strained as his hidden knuckles grew white from how tightly he gripped his knife. He considered for a moment what he’d do when the enemy came into the trench. He knew he would fight and die, but he wondered how many of them he’d kill before they took him down.
He reached back behind him, grabbing the Krak grenade he had attached to his belt. He held it tightly and used the middle finger of his knife hand to pull the pin. He held close, holding the striker lever down to ensure it wouldn’t go off until he let go of it. Then he waited.
The world closed in. Darkness tinted the edge of his vision as he watched his enemy march ever closer. Nothing existed save for him and the enemy. He knew what this was. Adrenaline, anticipation, and fear all coming together to activate his fight-or-flight response. He whole body felt charged and he had to stop himself from jumping out of the trench and running…..where? He wasn’t sure. He couldn’t guarantee his body wouldn’t turn tail and follow the rest of the imperial army back to the transports.
He adjusted his cap, scratched his bearded cheek and continued to watch. Watch and wait. That was all he could do now. His breathing grew heavy and erratic, his teeth barred, and a low growl escaped him.
The marching stopped.
He stared and waited.
A ploy? A chance to surrender maybe? Were they simply calling in artillery on his position?
That last thought stopped him. Artillery. Would they call artillery or an orbital strike or some other long distance attack on his position?
No. No, no, no, no they wouldn’t escape him that easy.
He scowled and climbed out of the trench, charging the Xenos line with a roar. The knife was raised over his head, holding it in an upside down fashion, as he sprinted towards his enemy. He refused to die to some cowardly artillery strike, he absolutely refused to be turned into a red smear on some backwater planet that no one would ever remember or care about.
The enemy….ran. They ran! He laughed as he chased after them. It didn’t make sense and he didn’t care. He couldn’t care, he was beyond caring.
“Get back here you throne damned bastards! GET THE FRAK BACK HERE!”
He slowed down long enough to toss the Krak grenade, laughing loudly when he saw it go off and take a handful of Xenos down.
The blood….was blood always so beautiful?
He continued running after the enemy before he stopped again. He stopped running cause something had stopped him. He didn’t understand, his legs were still under him, he was still alive, he could still fight!
“Kraking, bastard, filthy xenos, kill you all-“
“Shut up.”
He stopped talking, the voice snapping him out of…..whatever that was. He regained control and realized why he stopped running. Something had picked him up. He stared down at the ground only to realize how high he was above it.
“Hnngh, let go of me.”
He turned towards whatever was holding him only for his eyes to grow wide.
There stood….a woman. A very big woman with metallic dreadlocks poking out of her skull, her armor exposing skin and flesh in the fashion of a gladiator of old. He stared at him with a raised eyebrow and a silent growl as a twitch of pain or anger made her right eye close for a half second.
“Excuse me….heh….corporal.”
She said his rank as if it was an insult, even going as far as spitting on the ground after she said it. She held up by the back of his flak vest like he was little more than a lost puppy. She treated him like he wasn’t worth even talking to and that he was some stupid grunt who was simply in the way.
Space marines raced past both of them, ignoring them in favor of chasing after the retreating Xenos. They….were gonna steal his glory.
“Let me go damn you, the fights over there!”
The woman laughed loudly. Her head held back as her laughter echoed over the battlefield. A part of him thought her laughter was the most horrific and beautiful sound he ever heard, but it was overshadowed by his growing rage.
“You wouldn’t do-hnngghh-do anything to those alien freaks by yourself. Go home boy. Run with the rest of your fri-“
He swiped at her and smiled widely when he saw a small, paper thin cut open up on her cheek. A small trickle of blood dribbled down her skin as her smile disappeared. Her free hand came up and wiped at the cut. She studied the small swipe of blood on her finger. The cut was nothing, it wouldn’t even scar and she had lost far more blood then this in the blood pits. But something about this man taking a swipe at her, daring to cut her, daring to even consider killing or harming her…..
She smiled widely and put the man on her shoulder.
“You. I like you. You’re mine now little man.”
He tried to jump off but she held firm and turned away from the battle. Her sons would handle the fight. He roared on her shoulder and struggled against her grip, his rage growing as he did everything he could to get into the fight and kill. He wanted to, no needed to spill blood. He needed to kill, he needed to make them bleed.
But this goddess in bronze wouldn’t let him. She walked away and set him down in a space marine Rhino. He didn’t know her, he didn’t know why she took him, and he didn’t care. Instead he sighed and hung his head as he lit a iho stick.
“Don’t worry Corporal, there will be more glory to be had.”
He stared at her. His eyes were bloodshot, his body covered in dust and he felt exhausted.
“Hnngh…frakking….throne damn you….”
She smiled widely at that and pulled the trigger on her chainaxe. She then turned towards the driver.
“On second thought, hmm let’s go. I wanna see what you got little corporal.”
He smiled at that and stood up, popping his neck. He exhaustion was forgotten for the time being as the thought of killing those damned Xenos got his blood pumping and made him want to move.
“By the way.”
The giantess spoke as the rear hatch opened, revealing the same battlefield he had just left.
“My name is Atalanta.”

Yesterday, whilst my wife was driving me to the hospital for a check-up we were behind another car who had BLACK smoke comming out of the exhaust. He or she also had other damage to the rear bumper so may not even be aware of their damaged catalizer or exhaust system. For a moment I was like, "this car is as bad as that van in China when we visited there a few years ago. Whatever the reason, this car should not be on the road polluting like that. Is there any way I can report this vehicle to the authorities so they can contact the owner?
And if so, what institution (welke instantie) do I contact and on what email or phone number?

Hi! I'm gonna try an simplify this as much as possible but it will be hard considering all the details and messages that have been thrown at me in recent months.
I had a friend of 7 years who tried to defame me to my friend group saying I was actively mistreating my boyfriend. She made a gc with everyone else in it except me and my bf. When my bf caught wind, he seen 6 paragraphs of what she was saying and doing.
Everything down to the bone was debunked by him and then my friend group came to me to ask mote details. We called her out, showed proof and blocked her on all social media platforms. Stating multiple times from each one of us to no longer contact us under any circumstances.
She proceeded to say that her "demons." Took over and so forth.
In the last 2 months she has CONTINUED to make accounts or use very old ones to contact everyone threatening us, and in some instances acting like a child having a tantrum trying to say all the threats she said and nasty harmful things about my family wasn't her and that she wanted to try again. This would not be the first time, but this is the actual first time in my adulthood she has done this and as severe because I had proof, and an unlimited amount.
Not to mention that my friend group and mnay people I graduated with seen who she really was and was utterly disgusted by her behavior.
May I digress. Each time we tell her how it is, not making threats or throwing around harmful words. At the end of the convo we tell her to stay out of our lives and to heed her own words and to leave us alone despite her thinking we started condos first. There's proof that she has started it all the time.
Today, around 9:30 she somehow got ahold of my new phone number which she has NEVER been given to my knowledge. At least through me.
She has pictures of me from high-school (14-15) with obvious edited captions on snapchat (which I don't use snapchat.) And the captions on them are like "yeah baby, I'm still racist."
"I ❤️ racism." And a bunch of supposed Discord messages from a gc I had never been involved in.
There were like 14 images.
She then said "don't worry. I have way more." I just blocked the number.
She then sent the "proof" to one of my friends who has a business acc with all the pictures. He didn't have her one acc blocked on that one quite yet.
She was calling us all sorts of nasty names, and claiming we're all racist. Btw we have a screenshot of her saying the N word a couple times in private chats between certain people of the group. But I'm not gonna stoop to her level.
The message that stood out to me ESPECIALLY was "don't worry, I'm talking to a buddy of mine who will take care of insert my name
She will not let up on any of it and keeps creating multiple accounts and thinks that posting these on her social media platform will do her good.
Now, that I have explained the circumstances.
What is the full process and do you think that anything can be done.
I cannot afford to change my number, and I have already created a new acc on some social platforms. We have blocked her an unknowingly amount of times and she will not let up on anything.
She has been known in the past to make different phone numbers to reach out.
I'm not very well educated on the laws down to the bone, and I do have a learning disability so a lot of my understanding is hard for me to grasp unless written in 4 year old crayon eating terms.
I live in the United States if this helps.

Hey! I have been through it for the last couple of weeks trying to figure this out like many others. I reached out to xfinity tech support multiple times on all ends and was always given incorrect information. They couldn't seem to understand that the bands need to be on their own individual isolated channels, not supported up thru 2.4-6 G. On their end, they're not seeing that the bands are not individual like we see it in our Xfinity app. I think some of the confusion is that on the consumer side we don't know that band steering is being used, and we would like to have control over our own functionality rather than xfinity automating everything so we cannot change our settings. Or the devices should just be compatible. There is *no longer* a separate "NETWORK NAME - 2.4G / NETWORK NAME - 5G" different login setting. It's all the same network name and password you setup. Anyway, most of the advice I have seen in all the forums asking the same question was also not helpful to solve the issue. But! I figured out how to fix this finally and everything is up and running. I also had trouble during my initial gateway setup after starting service where the app was not working at all and the connection setup always failed. It was ultimately because the error notification kept saying "must use WPA3 password." I told the customer service specialist multiple times but they were going to send someone out because it wasn't working. The problem was that the security mode for the password type was not set correctly in the settings. I had to select WPA3 Personal Only, then I could proceed to change my password and continue with the setup to finally allow me to login and connect to the internet service/network and not just the router. If you're having issues during setup with your new service where your gateway modem is working and connected but you can't connect to the internet -- go into your app settings and make sure that the security mode you selected for login to your network is the one your device requires you to use (WPA2 or WPA3). I think this is because my devices are newer 2019+ apple and require the newer protocols. I'm going to try to make a video to explain it at some point to show. The problem with the smart devices that require the 2.4G band is a similar issue. (The problem isn't unique to Google Nest devices. It can be any 2.4G WPA2 device, like a Dyson smart device, a Ring door cam, Smart TV, etc). There are a few different steps you have to take:

1. go to your xfinity app and do the following: wifi > wifi details > edit wifi settings > security mode: WPA3 - Personal Transition (NOT PERSONAL ONLY). This is necessary because the older smart devices that require the 2.4G IPv6 protocol will also require a WPA2 security protocol and cannot "see" or find WPA3 networks. When you select transition mode you allow the network and device to automatically communicate with one another based on which one they use, either WPA2 or WPA3. If it is set to WPA3 Only, then the WPA2 devices will not connect, and if set to WPA2 only, the WPA3 devices will not connect. Note that there is a toggle function that says "split bands" -- THIS DOES NOT WORK. It will automatically undo itself no matter how many times you toggle it on and select save. Don't worry about it.
   
2. login to a web browser and type in 10.0.0.1 (from your home network. not remotely)
   
3. under username and password type: username:admin / password: password. This is universal at first. Next you will change your password to whatever you want it to be. The username will always remain "admin." Note: the login is NOT your xfinity login info or your network login info.
   
4. Select: connection > wifi . You will now see a page with the individual bands: 2.4G, 5G, and 6G. Select "edit" next to the 5G band and toggle "disable" > save settings. Do the same to disable the 6G band.
   
5. Next go to: connection > status. You will notice that your 2.4 G band is now the only one "active" and the other two are disabled. You will also see that your security mode was changed to "WPA3 Personal transition" mode. You will notice an indicator count for what devices are connected to what band.
   
6. Select the "firewall" dropdown from the lefthand menu. Select "IPv4" and change this security setting to "minimum security low." Save settings. Now select "IPv6" and change this setting to "custom." Make sure that no additional "Block _" boxes are checked. Save settings.
   

Now you should be able to find your network on your device and connect the device to wifi to finish your setup process! For me, I had to reset the Google Nest Smoke Detector following the reset settings. I also uninstalled the Google Nest app. I turned my phone off and back on. I reinstalled the Nest app. I did not have to uninstall and reinstall the Dyson app. My iPhone and Macbook automatically still joined the network no problem because the login info is the same due to the band steering. I just got a notification on my Macbook saying that the WPA3 protocol was changed and said ok. For my Dyson hot and cool air filter I was able to pair the device and the network finally showed up. I followed the settings in the app and now that the network knows the "MAC address of the device" it is stored in the network's memory and they can find and communicate with each other now. Same with the Google Nest. If it doesn't work right away just try another time and it should work.

Important: the reason they automatically merge the bands and steer them is because the 2.4G is more unstable. This is true. You might notice that the connectivity will drop out occasionally for the devices which could explain why it might take another try to finish your setup. Don't worry about it. It will reconnect on it's own.

Now that your smart devices are connected and setup is finished, and your network knows their MAC addresses, you can revert all the changes you made to your network settings to go back to full functionality (2.4G-6 and increase your firewall security standards back up to your desired level. You just follow the reverse order of what you just did. Keep the 2.4G as is of course, but select: "5G > edit" and toggle enable on. Do the same for 6G. Now all your bands are turned back on and you have full access again. Go back to "firewall" and change the IPV4 and IPV6 settings. You will see on the top menu bar in the right that your security is back to "medium."

Go back to "connection > status." You will notice that all your bands are now active. You can see the device count for how many devices are connected and to which band they are connected. This may drop in and out so don't worry if you don't see the correct total. Sometimes the nest will drop out but it will reconnect itself on it's own in a few minutes. You can verify this on your phone by: Going to the Nest app and seeing that your "Protect" or whatever device you setup is good. You can go to the Dyson app and see that it is connected and get your status updates. You can also go to the xfinity app and see what devices are connected to your network as you usually would. Again, this might drop in and out with the Google nest. But! all your settings are restored and all your devices are now fully functioning and connected to your network :) You also might get notifications from xfinity on your iPhone once the devices are finally successfully paired to your network. Cool!

Important note: you can also use the 10.0.0.1 admin tool to manually add a device's MAC address if, for some reason, you still can't get things to work. I thankfully didn't have to do this because I figured out the solution, but it was going to be my next attempt. Thankfully, the Dyson has the MAC address for the device printed on the inside of the device. However, Google Nest unfortunately does not do this and you have to already be connected in to the app to view the system info. However, you could do a workaround for that by taking your device someplace else and using their wifi (as long as it is 2.4 WPA2 IPV6) to connect and setup the device in the app in order to find the MAC address for the device in the settings in the Nest app. Then you can take the device back home to your network, reset, and try to manually add the MAC address now that you found it (hopefully you took a screenshot or something :) ) Thankfully I didn't have to do this either, but it also would have been my next attempt.

Also, make sure you keep your password settings that you changed in your xfinity app to WPA3 Transition Mode. It'll stay that way for both 2.4G and 5G. This is important because the devices still need to be able to communicate and can only use WPA2. Also if in the future you have this problem again with another product, like perhaps an older Smart TV, you will already have the WPA2 functionality enabled.
