Convenience and Portability

Handheld vacuum cleaners are prized for their portability and ease of use. Their compact size allows users to effortlessly maneuver around furniture, stairs, and tight corners without the hassle of dragging a bulky vacuum cleaner behind them. Whether you need to quickly clean up crumbs in the kitchen or remove pet hair from upholstery, a handheld vacuum cleaner offers unparalleled convenience.

Versatility in Cleaning

Unlike traditional vacuum cleaners, handheld models are versatile in their cleaning capabilities. They are equipped with various attachments and accessories that enable users to easily clean different surfaces. From upholstery brushes to crevice tools, these attachments allow you to effectively remove dirt, dust, and debris from carpets, furniture, car interiors, and more.

Time-Saving Benefits

One of the most significant advantages of handheld vacuum cleaners is their ability to save time. Instead of lugging out a full-sized vacuum cleaner for small messes, you can quickly grab your handheld device and tackle the issue in minutes. This time-saving feature is particularly valuable for busy individuals or those with hectic schedules who need to maintain a clean environment without dedicating excessive time to cleaning.

Factors to Consider Before Buying

Battery Life and Power

When selecting a handheld vacuum cleaner, it's essential to consider its battery life and power. Opt for models with long-lasting batteries that provide sufficient runtime to complete cleaning tasks without interruption. Additionally, choose a vacuum cleaner with powerful suction capabilities to ensure efficient dirt and debris removal.

Dust Capacity and Filtration System

Another critical factor to consider is the dust capacity and filtration system of the vacuum cleaner. Look for models with large dustbins that can hold ample debris without frequent emptying. Additionally, prioritize devices with advanced filtration systems that capture fine particles and allergens, ensuring cleaner air in your home.

Attachments and Accessories

The versatility of a handheld vacuum cleaner often depends on its range of attachments and accessories. Evaluate the included attachments and consider whether they meet your cleaning needs. Common attachments include crevice tools, upholstery brushes, and pet hair removal tools, which enhance the device's effectiveness on various surfaces.

Tips for Maintaining Your Handheld Vacuum Cleaner

Regular Cleaning of Filters and Brushes

To ensure optimal performance, it's crucial to regularly clean the filters and brushes of your handheld vacuum cleaner. Remove any trapped debris or hair from the brushes and wash or replace the filters as needed to maintain suction power and filtration efficiency.

Proper Charging and Storage

Proper charging and storage are essential for prolonging the lifespan of your handheld vacuum cleaner. Follow the manufacturer's guidelines for charging the device and avoid overcharging to prevent battery degradation. Additionally, store the vacuum cleaner in a clean, dry environment to prevent damage and maintain functionality.

Avoiding Overloading the Dustbin

To prevent clogs and maintain suction power, avoid overloading the dustbin of your handheld vacuum cleaner. Empty the trash can regularly, especially after cleaning large areas or picking up significant amounts of debris. This simple maintenance task will ensure optimal performance and prolong the life of your device.

Conclusion

Handheld vacuum cleaners offer unparalleled convenience, versatility, and time-saving benefits for users in Singapore. You can select the best handheld vacuum cleaner in Singapore to suit your cleaning needs by considering factors such as battery life, dust capacity, and included attachments. Whether you're tackling daily messes or performing deep cleaning tasks, a handheld vacuum cleaner is an indispensable tool for maintaining a clean and healthy home environment.

  1. Governing Law
These Official Rules, and any action related thereto, will be governed by the Federal Arbitration Act, federal arbitration law and the laws of the State of California without regard to conflict of laws provisions. Except as otherwise expressly set forth in Section 15 “Dispute Resolution and Arbitration” the exclusive jurisdiction for all Disputes (defined below) that you and ZAM are not required to arbitrate will be the state and federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California and you and ZAM each waive any objection to jurisdiction and venue in such courts.
  1. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
  2. Mandatory Arbitration of Disputes. We each agree that any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or relating to these Official Rules or the breach, termination, enforcement, interpretation or validity thereof or participation in the Sweepstakes (collectively, “Disputes”) will be resolved solely by binding, individual arbitration and not in a class, representative or consolidated action or proceeding. You and ZAM agree that the U.S. Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of these Official Rules, and that you and ZAM are each waiving the right to a trial by jury or to participate in a class action. This arbitration provision shall survive termination of these Official Rules.
  3. Exceptions. As limited exceptions to Section 15(a) above: (i) we both may seek to resolve a Dispute in small claims court if it qualifies; and (ii) we each retain the right to seek injunctive or other equitable relief from a court to prevent (or enjoin) the infringement or misappropriation of our intellectual property rights.
  4. Conducting Arbitration and Arbitration Rules. The arbitration will be conducted by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules (the “AAA Rules”) then in effect, except as modified by these Official Rules. The AAA Rules are available at www.adr.org or by calling 1-800-778-7879. A party who wishes to start arbitration must submit a written Demand for Arbitration to AAA and give notice to the other party as specified in the AAA Rules. The AAA provides a form Demand for Arbitration at www.adr.org. Any arbitration hearings will take place in the county (or parish) where you live, unless we both agree to a different location. The parties agree that the arbitrator shall have exclusive authority to decide all issues relating to the interpretation, applicability, enforceability and scope of this arbitration agreement.
  5. Arbitration Costs. Payment of all filing, administration and arbitrator fees will be governed by the AAA Rules, and we won’t seek to recover the administration and arbitrator fees we are responsible for paying, unless the arbitrator finds your Dispute frivolous. If we prevail in arbitration we’ll pay all of our attorneys’ fees and costs and won’t seek to recover them from you. If you prevail in arbitration you will be entitled to an award of attorneys’ fees and expenses to the extent provided under applicable law.
  6. Injunctive and Declaratory Relief. Except as provided in 13(b) above, the arbitrator shall determine all issues of liability on the merits of any claim asserted by either party and may award declaratory or injunctive relief only in favor of the individual party seeking relief and only to the extent necessary to provide relief warranted by that party’s individual claim. To the extent that you or we prevail on a claim and seek public injunctive relief (that is, injunctive relief that has the primary purpose and effect of prohibiting unlawful acts that threaten future injury to the public), the entitlement to and extent of such relief must be litigated in a civil court of competent jurisdiction and not in arbitration. The parties agree that litigation of any issues of public injunctive relief shall be stayed pending the outcome of the merits of any individual claims in arbitration.
  7. Class Action Waiver. YOU AND ZAM AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. Further, if the parties’ Dispute is resolved through arbitration, the arbitrator may not consolidate another person’s claims with your claims, and may not otherwise preside over any form of a representative or class proceeding. If this specific provision is found to be unenforceable, then the entirety of this Dispute Resolution and Arbitration section shall be null and void.
  8. Severability. With the exception of any of the provisions in Section 15(f) (“Class Action Waiver”), if an arbitrator or court of competent jurisdiction decides that any part of these Official Rules is invalid or unenforceable, the other parts of these Official Rules will still apply.
  9. Languages. These Official Rules may be made in multiple language versions. In the event of a dispute as to the terms of different language versions, the English version shall prevail.
  10. Country Specific Notices.
  11. If any provision of these Official Rules is invalid under the law, rules, or regulations of a particular country, it will only apply to the extent permitted.
  12. No Affiliation with Social Media Channels.
  13. This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, any of the social media channels used in connection with this Contest. 🙈 Arcium Confidential Computing

Arcium is introducing a transformative approach to confidential computing (CC) that enhances privacy and security across blockchain applications.
This was teased a while back when Elusiv Privacy announced it was sunsetting in favor of a more advanced solution.
Their new platform leverages advanced cryptographic technologies to provide a trustless and verifiable framework for executing encrypted computations. This enables enhanced security and privacy for applications by encrypting data not just when it is stored or in transit, but also when it is in use.
Arcium introduces a shift from hardware dependency towards a cryptographic approach for encryption.
It utilizes advanced cryptographic techniques including:
Multiparty Computation (MPC): This allows multiple parties to jointly compute a function over their inputs while keeping those inputs private.
Homomorphic Encryption (HE): Enables operations on encrypted data, producing an encrypted result that, when decrypted, matches the result of operations performed on the plaintext.
Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKPs): Allows one party to prove to another that a statement is true, without revealing any information apart from the fact that the statement is indeed true.
Designed for developers building in DeFi, AI, and beyond, Arcium uses a parallelized network architecture to provide encrypted computation without relying on hardware solutions or trusted third parties.
Arcium's network comprises two main components:

Multiparty Computation Execution Environments (MXEs)

These are configurable environments where developers can set specific parameters for secure multiparty computations, including who initiates the executions, which nodes participate, and what MPC protocol is used. MXEs support a variety of operations on encrypted data, ensuring that data remains confidential even during computation.

The Arx Network

This decentralized network consists of nodes, known as Arx, which collaborate to process encrypted data using MPC. Nodes can form clusters to perform joint computations, ensuring that encrypted data is processed securely without exposing individual data elements.
Developers can configure MXEs according to their application needs using Arcium’s user-friendly API, which includes both a web-based interface and an SDK.
Arcium has opened applications for an incentivized private testnet. This opportunity allows developers to run nodes or build applications using Arcium's infrastructure.

📣 Breakpoint 2024 Speakers

The Solana Foundation has announced the first wave of speakers for Solana Breakpoint 2024.

5. Arbitration Costs. Payment of all filing, administration and arbitrator fees will be governed by the AAA Rules, and we won’t seek to recover the administration and arbitrator fees we are responsible for paying, unless the arbitrator finds your Dispute frivolous.

YOU AND ZAM AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. Bladeless Ceiling Fan Singapore: The Modern Solution for Comfort and Style

Introduction

Bladeless ceiling fans have revolutionized the way we cool and circulate air in our living spaces. Unlike traditional ceiling fans, which rely on rotating blades to generate airflow, bladeless fans utilize innovative technology to provide a seamless and efficient cooling experience.

What are bladeless ceiling fans?

https://preview.redd.it/f4vvv7i67ryc1.png?width=1200&format=png&auto=webp&s=a9dd12d516c6afcb2b2cbec4e56b75b551eb4d66
Bladeless ceiling fans, also known as air multipliers, feature a sleek and modern design that sets them apart from conventional fans. Instead of blades, these fans use an impeller system to draw in air and amplify it, creating a smooth and consistent breeze throughout the room.

How do they work?

Bladeless ceiling fans employ a combination of aerodynamics and air manipulation to produce airflow. The fan's base contains a motor that sucks air in and channels it through a hollow tube. As the air passes through the tube, it encounters a curved ramp that accelerates its speed, resulting in a powerful stream of air that is then released into the room.

Benefits of Bladeless Ceiling Fans

Bladeless ceiling fans offer a range of benefits that make them an attractive choice for homeowners and businesses alike.

Energy efficiency

One of the primary advantages of bladeless ceiling fans is their energy efficiency. Unlike traditional fans, which can be prone to energy waste due to inefficient blade designs, bladeless fans are designed to maximize airflow while minimizing power consumption.

Safety features

Bladeless ceiling fans are inherently safer than traditional fans, especially in households with children or pets. With no exposed blades or moving parts, accidents and injuries are significantly reduced.

Modern design

Bladeless ceiling fans are renowned for their sleek and contemporary design, making them a stylish addition to any interior space. Whether you prefer a minimalist aesthetic or a more futuristic look, there are bladeless fan options to suit every taste and decor style.

Top Bladeless Ceiling Fan Brands in Singapore

When it comes to bladeless ceiling fans, several brands stand out for their quality, performance, and reliability.

Dyson

Thanks to its pioneering Air Multiplier technology, Dyson is the most well-known brand in the bladeless fan market. Dyson fans are renowned for their powerful airflow, quiet operation, and innovative features such as oscillation and remote control.

KDK

KDK is another trusted name in the world of ceiling fans, offering a range of bladeless fan options to suit different preferences and budgets. KDK fans are known for their durability, efficiency, and user-friendly design.

Crestar

Crestar is a Singapore-based company that specializes in ceiling fans and ventilation solutions. The brand's bladeless fans are prized for their high performance, energy efficiency, and sleek aesthetics, making them a popular choice among homeowners and businesses alike.

Factors to Consider When Buying a Bladeless Ceiling Fan

Before purchasing a bladeless ceiling fan in Singapore, there are several factors you should take into account to ensure you choose the right model for your needs.

Size and room compatibility

Bladeless fans come in a variety of sizes to accommodate different room dimensions and ceiling heights. Be sure to measure your space carefully and choose a fan that is suitable for the size of the room where it will be installed.

Noise levels

While bladeless fans are generally quieter than traditional fans, some models may produce more noise than others. If noise is a concern for you, look for fans with advanced noise reduction technology and smooth airflow operation.

Additional features

Many bladeless fans come with additional features such as remote control operation, adjustable airflow settings, and integrated lighting. Consider which features are important to you and choose a fan that offers the functionality you need.

Installation and Maintenance Tips

Installing and maintaining a bladeless ceiling fan is relatively straightforward, but there are a few key tips to keep in mind to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

Proper installation procedures

Follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully when installing your bladeless fan, and ensure that it is securely mounted to the ceiling to prevent accidents or damage.

Cleaning and maintenance guide

Regular cleaning is essential to keep your bladeless fan operating efficiently. Use a soft cloth or brush to remove dust and debris from the fan's exterior and interior components, and avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that could damage the fan's finish.

Cost Comparison with Traditional Ceiling Fans

While bladeless ceiling fans tend to be more expensive than traditional fans upfront, they can offer significant long-term savings in terms of energy efficiency and maintenance costs.

Initial cost

The initial cost of a bladeless ceiling fan is typically higher than that of a traditional fan, due to the advanced technology and materials used in its construction. However, many homeowners find that the benefits of bladeless fans justify the higher price tag.

Long-term savings

Bladeless fans are more energy efficient than traditional fans, meaning they consume less electricity and can help reduce your monthly energy bills over time. Additionally, because bladeless fans have fewer moving parts than traditional fans, they require less maintenance and are less likely to break down or require repairs.

Bladeless Ceiling Fans vs. Traditional Ceiling Fans: A Comparison

Bladeless ceiling fans offer several advantages over traditional fans, but they also have some drawbacks that may influence your purchasing decision.

Performance

Bladeless fans are known for their powerful airflow and quiet operation, making them ideal for use in bedrooms, living rooms, and other indoor spaces where comfort is paramount. Traditional fans, on the other hand, maybe noisier and less efficient at circulating air.

Aesthetic appeal

Bladeless fans are prized for their sleek and modern design, which can complement a wide range of interior decor styles. Traditional fans, while functional, may be less visually appealing and can detract from the overall aesthetic of a room.

Noise levels

Bladeless fans are generally quieter than traditional fans, thanks to their smooth airflow operation and lack of rotating blades. This makes bladeless fans a popular choice for bedrooms and other quiet spaces where noise can be a concern.

Bladeless Ceiling Fans for Different Room Types

Bladeless ceiling fans are versatile enough to be used in a variety of different room types, from bedrooms and living rooms to offices and commercial spaces.

Bedroom

In the bedroom, a bladeless ceiling fan can provide gentle, soothing airflow without disturbing your sleep. Look for a fan with adjustable speed settings and a remote control for added convenience.

Living room

A bladeless ceiling fan can serve as a stylish centerpiece in your living room, providing both comfort and visual appeal. Choose a fan with a modern design and integrated lighting to enhance the ambiance of your space.

Office

In the office, a bladeless ceiling fan can help improve air circulation and create a more comfortable working environment. Look for a fan with a compact design and quiet operation to minimize distractions.

2024.05.05 13:30 watchedngnl Should Singapore host the world chess championship match?

A recent chess.com article mentioned that FIDE was in advanced talks asking for bids from Singapore, India and Argentina to host the world chess championship match. The match would be a 14 game classical match(long chess) with rapid tiebrakes( fast chess. ) The cost is said to be 8.5 million USD, with 2.5million prize fund included. The competitors are 17 year old Gukesh D from India and Ding Liren from China. (Link to [article](https://www.chess.com/news/view/fides-call-for-world-championship-bids-draws-reactions) )
I personally think that Singapore should host the match. Singapore is a nice neutral ground not far away from both players with cultural and historic connections with the home countries of both competitors. Furthermore, the even is of great internation prestige for it's relatively low cost estimate. As a lover of the game in Singapore, I believe that the sight of a world chess championship match held so close would inspire many in Singapore to pick up the game, and motivate the young people who are already playing the game to strive for better, seeing a peer competing at the highest level.
It seems that many want it to be held in Chennai, India the hone town of Gukesh. What do y'all think.

2024.04.30 17:28 Probably_daydreaming Why singapore produces no athletes?

Age old question, why is it that singapore cannot produce anyone to perform on the world stage? I think I actually might have the answer. It comes down entirely to having zero career opportunities and prize money in the early careers of sportsmans here.
We could talk about all sorts of sports but the one that I want to specifically highlight is bowling. This is a sport that is essentially open to all ages, young or old, all the equipment is the same around the world and playing a 6 game 240 average isn't "worse" in singapore or "better" in US.
What I realize watching the PBA Jr Nationals is that even at 16/17 years old, these teens are able to earn enough money through competing that is roughly equivalent to a regular teen working full time at your usual part time jobs. And once they pass 18, they can compete in regionals that earn $25,000 as first place and with some of the youngest bowlers only at 20 bowling at PBA open championships with first place earning $100,000. Even at second or 3rd place, the prize money is basically equivalent to 1 year salary of your fresh grad poly.
And I think that's the issue singapore has, which is that any kid here can compete and perform crazy good but there is literally no way to make even a part time living doing the sport past the age of 16/18. There is literally no way for some 18 year old to keep practicing hard at their sport that they have been playing since primary school. Because there is not even any money in it. I was bowling extremely competitively in secondary school, but after I graduated, I had nothing else to back me up, and I gave up the sport. And every time I see some 14,15 year old kid scoring well above 200, I always wonder, what's going to happen to them when they graduate? End up playing league?
If we see places like the olympics is basically the high point of the career, what is the entry point? That is what singapore is desperately missing. Just think about it, as a uni student, if you spend 20 hours a week practicing your sport, you could essentially win enough money to last you your entire degree or even pay off your degree and it's a sport you've been doing all your life and you are clearly top of your game. And if you continue to practice, you can earn enough money to essentially play the sport full time.
We don't even need that many competitions, we just need a handful enough a year that teens at the top of the level can continue to compete at after secondary school and make enough money like part time job. Because honestly when you try to compete on the level like commonwealth games 2024 is like asking a entry level worker to be on the same level as people with several years experience.
So when we ask why aren't there any top level athletes in singapore, we have to ask, what's an 18 year old teen to do capitalise and earn money on his skill in a sport?

2024.04.27 00:42 cjbartoz What powers every electrical circuit?

What powers every electrical circuit?
Here's a simple explanation of what powers every electrical circuit.
When we crank the shaft of the generator and rotate it, the rotation transforms the input "mechanical" energy into internal "magnetic field" energy. In that little part of the circuit that is between the terminals of the generator and inside it, the magnetic field energy is dissipated on the charges right there, to do work on them. This work (expending the magnetic energy) forces the negative charges in one direction, and the positive charges in the other direction. In copper, for example, for every electron we "push" off an atom into the conductor as a free electron to make "current", there is a "hole" left on that atom. That "hole" is a positive charge.
So the same magnetic field energy, while moving those electrons, also applies forces to those positive holes. The positive charge of each hole, however, is attached to a far heavier mass (the atom) than is the charge of the electron. So the atoms with positive charges (ions) are pushed and rocked back a little.
That's all that rotating the shaft of the generator accomplishes. None of that input shaft energy was transformed into EM energy and sent out down the powerline, as electrical engineers assume. Not to worry, energy does get sent down the powerline. But not from the generator shaft energy or its transduction.
Essentially then, all the energy we put into the shaft of the generator is dissipated inside the generator itself, to push the positive charges in one direction and the negative charges in the other.
The separation of the charges forms what is called a "dipole" (opposite charges separated from each other a bit).
Diagram of a physical dipole, with equipotential surfaces and field lines indicated
That is all that the generator does. That is all that burning all that coal or oil or gas does.
It heats a boiler to make steam, so that the steam runs a steam turbine attached to the shaft of the generator, and turns it - and therefore forcing those charges apart and making that dipole between the terminals of the generator.
Generators and batteries make source dipoles, nothing else.
Let's stop right there and see what happens, once we have a dipole.
In 1957, Lee and Yang were awarded the Nobel Prize for the discovery of broken symmetry, including the broken symmetry of opposite charges (such as the ends of a dipole, like between those terminals of that generator). Ugh! In lay language, what the dickens is that? What does it mean? Let us deviate a little, so we understand what has been said when we say that "the dipole, once made, is a broken symmetry in the fierce energy flux of the vacuum".
In quantum mechanics, the vacuum (empty space) is not inert at all, but is one of the most active and energetic things in the entire universe. Imagine a giant sea of "energetic bubbles", boiling up and bursting, and with mind-boggling energy. Each little bubble arises and disappears so quickly that it cannot be individually seen; but during the moment that it exists, it has enormous energy.
The vacuum or so-called "empty space" is just a seething sea of such extraordinarily energetic bubbles of energetic particles appearing and disappearing at an incredible rate. Because an individual bubble cannot be seen, it is said to be "virtual" (not observable) as compared to something that hangs around a long time and thus can be "seen" or "observed". An ordinary old electron that hangs around all the time is thus observable; an electron born as a special "bubble" momentarily in the seething vacuum and disappearing again almost instantly, is not observable but "virtual".
Photons (pieces of electromagnetic energy) also come in both "observable" and "virtual" size. An ordinary old photon hangs around a long time and so it is observable. We say it is "real energy" because we can interact with it, detect it, and observe it. A photon born momentarily as a "special bubble" in that seething vacuum does not hang around, and so cannot be "seen" or measured or observed. So it is said to be "virtual".
These virtual bubbles appearing and disappearing in the vacuum are quite real. The reactions of lots of them with mass is what creates all the forces of the universe. Any and every kind of force.
It turns out that a charge - any charge, either electric or magnetic - is in violent virtual photon energy exchange with that vacuum, continuously. That fierce absorption of energy and emission of energy is in fact "what charge really is".
Let's visualize that as virtual photons (photon bubbles) in the frenzied vacuum continuously interacting by the uncountable zillions with an ordinary old charge (say an electron). All the forces we observe acting upon that electron, are created by the frenzied interaction of those virtual photon bubbles with that electron.
And the same for any other charge.
So a dipole (two opposite charges separated a little) is a broken symmetry in that violent energy exchange between the charges of the dipole and that seething energy bubble sea. That is well-proven, both experimentally and theoretically, in particle physics since 1957 and the award of the Nobel Prize to Lee and Yang.
It still hasn't made it into the electrical engineering textbooks and curricula yet.
Here's what we mean by that "broken symmetry of the dipole in the fierce flux of vacuum".
The charges on the dipole continuously receive energy in little temporary "bullet strikes" called virtual photon absorptions. So the charge continuously absorbs EM energy, steadily and violently, from the active vacuum at an incredible rate. All the time. Night and day. More in one second than all the manmade power systems on earth have used in our entire history. In other words, it really receives an incredible amount of energy continuously!
So the dipole has to re-radiate (emit) that continuously absorbed virtual energy back to the active vacuum, as fast as it receives it. Else its rapidly increasing stored energy would rise so sharply that it would create a new "Big Bang" and an entire new universe bursting out of the old one.
Obviously the world is not continuously exploding around every dipole or electron. In fact, the dipole and the electron are quite stable. So the dipole or electron has to be re-radiating that absorbed energy back to the vacuum as fast as it receives it.
Now there are two ways the opposite charges in a dipole could possibly radiate that energy back to space.
(1) they could radiate it back as the same kind of virtual photons that it absorbed. In that case, there would exist "mirror symmetry" in the vacuum flux, as if everything hitting the dipole charges from the vacuum were just reflected exactly right back to the vacuum, like light reflecting perfectly from a mirror.
But that's not what happens. What happens is,
(2) a lot of the little bitty momentary photons are "piled up" and added together, to make a bigger "chunk" of EM energy. These "big chunks" of EM energy are the bigger, permanent kind of photons! They are observable. That's real energy, and you can intercept it, collect it, and use it to power real loads.
That reradiating the absorbed virtual photon energy as observable photon energy called a "broken symmetry" in that vacuum "bubble flux". In other words, the dipole charges absorb energy from the vacuum in very tiny momentary bits - as something like "disintegrated" EM energy. But the spin of the charges of the dipole integrates that "disintegrated" EM energy into very much bigger pieces that are permanent and hang around. So part of the energy received from the vacuum in a form that cannot be "seen", is "glued together" into energy that can be and is seen, and re-emitted back to the vacuum in that real EM energy form.
So we "see" the dipole as if it were just sitting there and pouring out real EM energy continuously, in all directions, like a spray nozzle or giant energy gusher. We don't see the input energy from the vacuum at all! But it's there, and it's well-known in particle physics. It's just that electrical engineers - particularly those that have designed and built all our electrical power systems for more than a century - do not know it.
So, according to proven particle physics and a Nobel Prize, the easiest thing in all the world is to extract EM energy from the vacuum. All you wish. Anywhere in the universe. For free. Just pay a little bit once, to make a little dipole, and that silly thing is like a great oil well you just successfully drilled that has turned into a mighty gusher of oil without you having to pump it. The dipole just sits there and does its thing, and it pours energy out forever, for free, as long as that dipole continues to exist.
So pouring from the terminals (from the internal source dipole) of every generator and battery, there is a stream of EM energy pouring out, once that internal dipole is made. This outflowing EM energy has been extracted and converted directly from the seething vacuum by that dipole's broken symmetry. The outflowing EM energy is not transformed shaft energy one put into the generator! That flow of energy extracted from the vacuum fills all space around the external wires attached to the terminals, and it flows at the speed of light.
The external (attached) circuits and power lines etc. catch some of that available EM energy flowing through space (generally flowing parallel to the wires but outside them). Some of the flowing energy is intercepted and diverted into the wires themselves, to power up the internal electrons and force them into currents, thus powering the entire power line and all its circuits.
However, the power system engineers use just one kind of circuit. In the standard "closed current loop" circuit, all the "spent electrons" (spent after giving up their excess energy in the loads, losses, etc.) are then forcibly "rammed" back through that little internal section between the ends of the source dipole (between the terminals). These "rammed" electrons smash the charges in the dipole away, and destroy the dipole then and there.
It can easily be shown that half the "caught" energy in the external circuit is used to destroy that source dipole, and nothing else.
For more than a century, our misguided engineers have thus used a type of circuit that takes half of the energy it catches, and uses that half to destroy the source dipole that is actually extracting the EM energy from the vacuum and pouring it out of the terminals for that power line to "catch" in the first place! The other half of the "caught energy" in the powerline is used to power the external loads and losses.
So half the caught energy in the power line is used to kill the source dipole (kill the free energy gusher), and less than half is used to power the loads. It follows that our electrical engineers are trained to use only those power circuits that kill themselves (kill their gushing free energy from the vacuum) faster than they can power their loads.
Well, to get the energy gusher going again, the dipole has to be restored in order to extract the energy and pour it out again.
So we have to pay to crank the shaft of that generator some more, to turn that generator some more, so that we can dissipate some more magnetic energy to re-make the dipole. We have to work on that shaft at least as much as the external circuit worked on that source dipole to destroy it. So we have to "input more shaft energy" to the generator than the external power system uses to power its loads. Since we pay for the input shaft energy, we have to keep on burning that coal, oil, and gas etc. to do so.
All our electrical power systems are "suicidal" vacuum-powered systems, freely extracting their useful EM energy from the seething vacuum, but deliberately killing themselves faster than they power their loads.
All that the burning of all that coal, oil, gas, etc. accomplishes is to continually remake the source dipole, which our engineers insure will then receive be killed by the system itself faster than the system gives us work in the load.
To borrow a phrase from Tesla, this is probably "the most inexplicable aberration of the scientific mind ever recorded in history".
No electrical engineering department or professor in the United states teaches or even knows what powers an EM circuit, or an electrical power line, even though the basis has been available in particle physics for nearly half a century.
All that wanton and senseless destruction of the biosphere and pollution of the planet, just to get our electrical energy from self-suicidal power system, is insane. There is absolutely no need for it. That hundreds of thousands of engineers and scientists have continued this gigantic farce uncomplaining, is absolutely inexcusable. That the leaders of our scientific community continue to propagate such nonsense, is also inexcusable.
There is no problem in getting all the EM energy one wishes, for nearly free, anywhere in the universe, and that follows from the broken symmetry of the dipole. Just make a dipole. You get the energy flow for free, thereafter, so long as you will just leave that dipole intact and not destroy it (or at least destroy it slower than you power the load).
All the universities, the National Academy of Sciences, the National Science Foundation, the Department of Energy, and the great national laboratories are completely working on the wrong end of the energy problem. The conventional power system scientists have got the cart before the horse, have had it that way for more than a century, and are determined to forever keep it that way.
The real and only energy PROBLEM is simple:
  • Figure out better mechanisms to intercept that FREE electromagnetic energy flow from the source dipole, once made
  • Collect lots of that freely flowing energy in collectors and circuits
  • Then discard the stupid closed current loop circuit and dissipate the collected energy in the loads WITHOUT dissipating half of it to kill the dipole and the free-flowing EM energy from the vacuum
The energy crisis can be totally solved, forever, anytime the scientific community will permit it, fund it, and not try to "steal" it from the inventor(s).
The electrodynamics that U.S. electrical engineers are using to design those present electrical power system monstrosities and the accompanying extraordinarily vulnerable and awkward and archaic infrastructures and distribution systems is more than 137 years old, put together in the time of the American Civil War, for goodness sakes! At that time, the atom, the nucleus, and the electron were not even discovered yet. The classical EM model is known today to be seriously flawed (e.g., Wheeler and Feynman pointed part of it out, and even tried to correct it. They failed because their corrections were not sufficiently extensive). Even so, later even that 1865 Maxwellian EM model was also seriously curtailed in the 1880s (after Maxwell was already dead).
It was further crippled, first partially crippled by Heaviside and then permanently crippled (as far as free energy systems) by Lorentz. Prior to Lorentz's changes, the Maxwell-Heaviside equations do prescribe both,
(1) Maxwellian systems that put out less energy than the operator inputs (i.e., the conventional stuff)
(2) Maxwellian systems that put out more energy than the operator himself inputs.
The model (before Lorentz's changes) does include "electromagnetic windmills in a free electrical wind", so to speak. After Lorentz's change, it is as if the further-stripped model now only contains "windmills which are sealed in a barn so no wind can ever get to them".
Let me put it this way. Every electrical system we ever built, and every one today, is powered by EM energy extracted directly from the active vacuum by the source dipole in the system. Always has been, always will be. If one really wants to get serious about it, all EM energy in space comes from the time domain (http://www.rexresearch.com/bearden/BeardenGiantNegentropyCommonDipole.pdf). Literally we "consume or use a little time, to get EM energy in 3-space. One second of time converts to something like 9x1016 joules of EM energy. So if we convert one microsecond per second, at one point in space, into EM energy in space, we get something like 9x1010 joules per second - that's 90,000 megawatts at that single point. Even at a very efficient conversion process, we can get 1,000 megawatts there at that single point or location. And we can simultaneously do that at each and every spatial point or location that we choose.
So how many programs are the National Academy of Sciences and National Science Foundations funding for working on the only real fundamental electrical power system problem (how to dissipate the freely flowing EM energy in loads, without ramming the spent electrons back through the source dipole and destroying it)? Check their websites. There is no really "innovative science" going on to solve that problem. The scientific community will spend and has spent billions on the notion of hot fusion, without adding one watt to the power grid, but they will not spend a paltry $40 million to solve the only remaining problem that would allow very cheap and clean electrical energy for the entire world, forever. And that would dramatically and permanently reduce the despoiling of this beautiful biosphere, the strangling of species, and the global warming. Let alone eliminate those nuclear powerplants and eliminate further nuclear wastes from them.
The cost of a single large new electrical power plant for a few years, can solve the energy crisis forever.
Kyoto was a flash in the pan prior to what can really be done with a single well-funded and well-directed research program in 3 years. We could have working commercial power systems, self-powering, going into production in one year from the date such a program is initiated, if we can get something like a Presidential Decision Directive to keep the infuriated scientific community, the Big Nuke Power boys, and the Big Oil and Big Coal boys off our backs. Two years later that that first year, the range of systems will include nearly everything necessary to permanently replace this terribly vulnerable and antiquated centralized power system that is going to require vast billions of new dollars and years of work, just to try to stay up with demand.
Oh, how long will a dipole pour out that EM energy freely, you asked? Let's put it this way. The dipoles in the atoms of all the primary matter in the universe, have been continuously pouring out EM energy freely extracted from the vacuum, for some 14 billion years or so. So as far as we are concerned, the dipole will pour the energy out freely forever, or for at least the next 14 billion years - and that's close enough to forever for government work, so to speak.
All we have to do is take the "electrical windmills" out of the closed current loop barns we have been putting them in for over more than 100 years.
If the environmentalists really want to save the planet, then it is the scientific community they should be attacking and condemning. To do that, they will have to have some decidedly unorthodox scientific advise. But we do have some extraordinary scientists who can and would do it. They would have to be paid, but they can meet all objections and the deepest scientific criticism.
The global warming, hydrocarbon combustion pollution, nuclear power plant pollution, and dams pollution and degradation of species and the biosphere, are totally unnecessary. The only reason we have an environmental problem now approaching such epic proportions, is because of the abject and total failure of our own scientific community for more than a century. That was excusable for a half century, but since the rise of particle physics - and specifically since the discovery of broken symmetry - it is no longer excusable. Indeed, it so threatens the very survival of the United States (and about 3/4 of the Earth that is going to be destroyed on our present course) that it has become simply inexplicable.
How else can one explain the fact that, in more than 100 years, we have not produced a single electrical engineering department, university, national laboratory, etc. that even understands what powers an electrical circuit? And still do not, even though the broken symmetry of the common source dipole has been established for nearly a half century?
The organized scientific community --- not the political community --- is totally responsible for the environmental crisis.
Unfortunately, the environmental community and the political community have been very naïve; they have turned for their "expert advice" to those same engineers and scientists and organizations and laboratories that do not even know what powers an electrical circuit. And that have been responsible for the crisis in the first place. And they have naively believed every word they were told by those advisors.
Hey! Those who brought on the problem in the first place, and who so stoutly defend the present mess (destroying the careers of scientists who object and try to change it), cannot be depended upon to properly advise anyone on how to correct it. That is like setting the fox in the henhouse to guard the hens.
The environmental community does a lot of activism, because it is filled with persons sincerely passionate in their urgent intent to save this precious planet. The community has a lot of clout, and it also attracts a lot of money from donors wishing to clean up the biosphere, and to have a clean air and planet once again, with thriving natural species rather that species strangling in the sludge and the mud.
However, sadly the community focuses (understandably!) on the wrong problem, because it receives the wrong scientific advice. The environmental community is led to believe that what is being done by our energy scientists and engineers is the very best that can be done. That is totally false. Both the environmentalists and the politicians are being misled by our scientific community.
Contrary to popular opinion, science does not progress by sweet reason, but by an unending series of cur dog fights. Any historian of science can give dozens and dozens of notorious examples (vacuum energy and cold fusion are two present cases where the innovative scientists are being savaged without mercy). The Big Dogs who hold the upper hand in the present cur dog fights, are irrevocably committed to more of the same systems the environmentalists despise:
  • big nuclear power plants
  • more hydrocarbon burning
  • ever more oil and gas pipelines
  • ever more dams, etc.
You cannot power the big cities and the increasing populace with windmills and solar cells. Or with fuel cells either, though that is now the "decision" made by the various cartels that we shall have forced upon us.
Reason:
with fuel cells, you will have to keep burning some fuel, and keep that energy meter on your house and some kind of "gas meter" on your car. EM energy from the vacuum is deadly opposed by the cartels because it is total anathema to that desire. By removing that gas meter on your car and that electric meter on your house, some vast financial empires are threatened and will be destroyed eventually. We simply wryly point out that the top dogs did not get on top by placing touch football; they got there by playing very hard-nosed football. They will do whatever it takes to oppose the knowledge and funding of COP>1.0 electrical systems freely taking their energy from the seething vacuum. Including kill the inventors and discoverers as necessary. They have been doing it for several decades already.
So the dispute over eliminating the energy crisis versus saving the environment then becomes artificially limited to the false "either-or" choice between more energy-systems-as-conventional to provide more energy, versus severe curtailment of energy use from less energy-systems-as-conventional to decrease the impact on the environment.
That choice forces one to a choice in the national economy and way of life, when only the conventional power system technology is considered. With conventional technology, to maintain the economy for a decent standard of living for all, we have to have CHEAP AND ABUNDANT electrical energy and more of it every year. With conventional approaches, to maintain the environment we have to have CLEANER AND LESS electrical energy every year.
The real solution is to kill the controversy and cut the Gordian knot, and get rid of that phrase "conventional power system technology" and that phrase "and less". To do BOTH things at once - have cheaper, clean, and more abundant electrical energy and more every year - we only have to turn to proper use of the enormous electromagnetic energy so easily and universally produced from the seething vacuum.
There is a very good and proper science of the type of electrodynamic models that have to be used to develop such new "vacuum powering" systems:
(1) higher group symmetry electrodynamics should be used, such as O(3), which is capable of modeling the vacuum interaction as well as the curvatures of spacetime interactions (both of which conventional classical electrical engineering discards), and
(2) we have to put some sharp but open-minded scientists on working on the real problem: how to dissipate the collected EM energy in a dipolar circuit, without using half of it to destroy its own dipolarity.
We have to fund those sharp young grad students working on their doctorate, and those post-docs working on new energy research, to work in "EM energy from the vacuum". Try finding a single doctoral thesis, candidate, or post-doc working on a funded project in that respect.
The entire solution to the energy crisis and to the environmental problem due to energy is doable, and it's doable in three years.

I went to NU’EST Aron’s 1.2M won 3-Day-2-Night Fancamp (2024 Aaron University Spring Membership Training “Oppa and I” Fan Account)
On February 28, Aaron shared the first information about the upcoming fan camp. This was just a short time after I had already booked a trip to Korea, and was scheduled to arrive the week after the fan camp. My mind was all over the place that weekend, then Monday morning I went to my manager to see if I could extend my vacation and go a week earlier. Extension approved, I was going.
The fan camp faced some controversy by non-LOVEs at first when it was announced, due to the steep price. The price tag for me as a foreign fan was 1.200.000 won, which does sound steep compared to regular fan meetings at first glance. I was chatting with a friend in Korea while I was waiting for the foreign payments to open (only Korean bank transfers the first week of it being on sale…) and her reaction was “holy hell” when she saw the price. But as the saw what was included, she also agreed that it was a super cool event and that the price made sense for everything that was included. It was not something a lot of artists would do, so that made it even more special.
Now, the scary part of the trip was that it was a full weekend and none of my LOVE friends were able to go. The downside of the relatively short notices of Korean events… However, my LOVE friend A who I met last year for Ren’s promotions said her friend M was considering to go as well, and connected us. Suddenly it felt a lot better being able to chat with another person before going, and we arranged to get to be grouped in the same 4-person room as well.

DAY 1

I landed in Korea Thursday at noon. Friday at 2pm we were scheduled to be picked up by busses in Hapjeong. I and M were assigned bus 3. We met up before for lunch and headed to Hapjeong early. Immediately we spotted the LOVEs. A few (including me) were wearing the NU’EST fanclub college jackets. Others the The Black hoodie, the last official NU’EST concert merch. Then I saw key rings, pins, photo cards, and other signs we were in the right location.
Our bus was the “international” bus. The large majority of participants were Korean, but people had flown in from other parts of Asia and I talked with LOVEs from Taiwan, Japan, Singapore and Thailand. But me and M had definitely come the longest way, and stood out a bit as the only two non-asians there. Our guide alternated between Korean, English, and a little bit of Chinese and Japanese. Many of the non-Korean asians still understood some Korean and could follow the spoken Korean as well.
The bus ride took approximately 1.5h before we arrived at Oak Valley Resort outside of Wonju. Oak Valley Resort seemed to be a golfing/conference hotel, with also some hiking trails around. I took some walks around in between the official schedule, but unfortunately it rained a large part of the weekend, and it was lucky all official scheduled were arranged indoors.
Once there, we were arranged into groups of 4 for the rooms. M and I ended up with two really nice Taiwanese LOVEs in room 323. So we lined up in groups and room numbers, in line to the check-in counter. In the reception we were greeted by an Aaron standee and a map and the schedule for the weekend, so we all took our phones out for photos. I will share mine too! (Then I took some more over the course of the weekend, haha!)
The reception area with Aaron's standee
While almost at the check-in desk, we were told we should leave our gifts to Aaron there. The two Taiwanese LOVEs hurriedly filled a huge paper bag with various Taiwanese snacks and instant food to have it ready by the desk. I had luckily prepared my gift bag already that morning, since I could not fit it in my backpack. I had attacked both a tag saying from me to Aaron, and put a letter to him in the bag, where I also gave some background to what my gift was. Most LOVEs and listeners of Korean Cowboys podcast knows that Aaron is quite fond of alcohol, so I had gotten him a bottle of Swedish whisky. I hope he likes it!
After checking in we all got merch bags from Aaron! It was a really nice tote-bag saying Aaron, filled with goodies and our lanyards. Here is my unboxing! And of my lanyard (name hidden because privacy reasons).

My lanyard
Our room was on the same floor as receptions. We were split over four floors with the same sized apartments for each room. We had two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a kitchen/living room. However, in there there was only one bed, and three mattresses to sleep on the floor. A bit interesting choice. The Taiwanese girls let me and M have the bed-bedroom, and I let M have the bed opting for a mattress on the floor. We unpacked for a bit and then just rested, since we had all flown in just the day before and were tired from travelling.
At 6pm dinner was served. Bibimbap, which I was really close to having for lunch but fortunately did not (I decided last minute to get bibimnaengmyeon instead since the weather was hot). Throughout the weekend there was a camera man filming everything that was going on, and of course he had to come up to me to show the foreigner having korean food, and of course I had to drop something at just that moment since I got nervous with the camera, sigh. I just know that I will appear a lot in that video once it’s out…
After dinner and some more free-time, finally the official schedule with Aaron started! The Welcome Party.
We lined up outside the grand ballroom, where the welcome party was held, in our room groups. M got to draw our seat for the event, as the group representative. And the seat she got us? Front row! So lucky! But also a bit nervous since we would be so visible. The seats were arranged in two sections, A and B, each with 8 chairs per row. The seats we got were B 5-8, so right side facing the stage.
When we entered, we were also given ear pieces connected to a translator, so we could understand what was happening even if the MC only spoke Korean. It was definitely something that improved the experience! I would love if fan meetings would offer the same, as there has been several times I have been sitting in the audience at a fan meeting in Korea without knowing what was going on.
After an introduction and greeting from the MC, Aaron entered the stage and we all cheered. As the theme of the fan camp was university MT, the event started with Aaron taking roll call by reading out all of our names! I recorded the full thing because I wanted to save him saying my name, and that recording was a good 25 minutes. Fans started answering in various cute ways, rather than just saying “네”, and when it reached us international fans, others started to say things in their languages. Of course I could not be worse, I had to say something in Swedish. So I went for the obvious. “Jag älskar dig” (I love you). Aaron was so sweet and tried to repeat it and struggled so much, so I had to say it again. I was both happy and embarrassed at the same time, since he definitely noticed me, hahaha!
Going back to the earpiece, at one point after the roll call, Aaron looked at me and M and gestured towards the ear and did an ok? sign. I gave a thumbs up back and he smiled. So sweet that he thought of us and checked that the translator worked for us.
It was good to have the ear piece, because what followed was a lot of information and schedules for the rest of the weekend. It was mostly the MC talking, while Aaron listened and looked at us LOVEs.
The welcome party ended with selca time! We lined up to go on stage and take our selcas with Aaron. He said in the information earlier that we would be able to take three, but then he still took four! One of my Taiwanese room mates also told me in line to start screen recording before going up, so now I also have a cute video of me being awkward and star struck with Aaron being sweet and professional. Here’s my selca!
My selca with Aaron
As we were sitting in the front row, we were among the first people for the photo time. After taking our selcas, we were instructed to leave and head back to our rooms. What followed there was a nervous (and tired from jet lag) wait for Aaron’s room tour to start.
The last schedule for Day 1 was that Aaron would visit all rooms. As in, he would come to our hotel room and talk with just the four of us for a moment. At first it was announced that he would only visit a few lucky draw rooms, but later on that changed to all rooms.
All four of us were anxiously sitting in the living room of the apartment, not really talking, just on our phones. M was really jet lagged and took a quick nap, with the rest of us promising to wake her as soon as anything happened. A while after the three of us jumped when his live stream started, woke up M, and watched it together. Then it ended, and we were sitting on needles again. One of the Taiwanese girls looked out a few times, and then ended up going to look around to figure out how far away he was. One floor up. And we waited again. Maybe 20-30 minutes later, the door bell suddenly rang and we all rushed towards the door. He was here!
We opened, and he was wearing this striped pyjama-looking outfit and glasses. He gave us a box of fried chicken and asked what we had been up to. When our reply was that we just had been resting, he looked a bit surprised, and we later found out a lot of the other rooms had been partying and drinking, and also decorated the rooms with posters or dressed up. We were definitely a bit awkward and simple in comparison. I quickly added jet lag, and he asked when we got to Korea. All of us had arrived the day before, and he gave a surprised reaction, and then wished us a nice rest before leaving and waving goodbye. One of my room mates filmed part of his visit, but since I can’t share videos here easily, I will just share the screenshot.

Also, chicken! Before going to sleep we had the chicken together while trying to calm down a bit from being star struck from his visit. Chicken photo!

DAY 2

So I was jet lagged one way coming from Sweden, so I struggled falling asleep before 2am. Meanwhile M came from New Zealand and woke up at shortly after 5am. In other words, I did not get a lot off sleep that night. Since breakfast was served at 8am, I decided to leave the apartment around 7am and go for a walk in the morning light, trying to convince my body it was morning and that it was time to be awake. The resort was actually quite nice for walking, and I found a sculpture garden with a walking trail and rocks that played classical music.
Breakfast, however. I do like Korean food, but I have to say that only seaweed soup and rice was a bit too much for my Northern European self in the morning. I tasted it, but ended up having to leave most and instead get a (sadly super sweet) yoghurt from the GS25 instead. But since I was not that hungry due to jet lag it worked out well enough.
Breakfast
After breakfast, the forecasted rain finally started. We left for our room again to pick up our crafts items, as it was time for the first official activity of the day, DIY crafts class!
Now, as I disclaimer I’m terrible at drawing. So my goal was to do something simple. That not even I could mess up too bad. We had gotten ToonToys and acrylic paint, and the mission was to paint them. Aaron also painted two of his, that would be given away to lucky fans.
Again we were quite lucky with the seating draw, this time it was my turn to draw the number. Second row! Close but not too close, so quite a comfortable spot. We could easily see Aaron while drawing, and it turned out more fun than I expected!
So what did I end up doing? I decided to take inspiration from the super cute pumpkin carving first prize meme and focused on doing a cute face on my ToonToy. I spent more or less half the time experimenting on the paper where we could draw our designs before starting, until I reached a point where I felt I could comfortably draw two round dots as eyes, and the mouth quite well. I also added some deep teal and vivid pink for NU’EST’s colours. This is how it turned out! Also together with Aaron’s two, and also a photo I took of all of ours. Some LOVEs are just such talented artists.

We went to lunch (dumpling soup) after the DIY class, and then it was finally time for the mini sports day. Now, for this event we could not get the ear pieces because of practical reasons, so it was more difficult to follow what was going on. Fortunately I had team members translating key parts to me, and at this point I am quite good at following along by copying what the Korean fans were doing.
We picked a super energetic team leader that volunteered for the position, and she did so well in cheering us on and checking in that we were okay. The first activity required her to have 10 of us volunteer for the first mission, and after hesitating at first I decided to join. I was not here to just sit by the wall after all, might as well experience everything!
Now this was a proper Korean mini sports day, with multiple team activities and games. We had earlier been split up in four teams, each with different coloured scarves that we got in our bags the first day. My team was purple, and the others were blue, yellow, and orange.
The first game, that I volunteered for, was the game to fill a long plastic bag with balloons and make it stand. Unclear what exactly was the winning criteria, fastest or tallest, but I went along, hurriedly carrying balloons blown up by the non-volunteering members of the team, to the bag a bit away in the room. Our team ended up being the slowest, but our bag was the tallest, and then Aaron joined our team, so I think we won the game?
And yes, Aaron joined our team! At least for the next game, tug-o-war. We all freaked out a bit when he sat down among us, he was just so close! See picture
Aaron joining our team
For tug-o-war, there was three ropes, and you just needed two to win. So the strategy quickly became to focus on two of the ropes, and give up the last. The Korean (and Korean-speaking international) fans around me translated the strategy to me, but then Aaron came up to me to check we understood and translated it as well! I was just so happy heaving him explain it to me that I did not want to say I already had it explained.
We ended up winning the first round against one of the team, but then lost 1-2 against the winning team of the other round. Placing us 2nd overall for that game.
Next game! Unfortunately that meant Aaron left us to join the next team, and we sadly saw him go. The game that followed was flip red/blue squares. The squares filled the floor and we were given either blue or red as a colour and had to get the most of the two-sided squares in our colour. Again, we won our first round. Aaron’s team did not, so we never got to face him. But it was cute watching him, since he did not contribute much, being scared to accidentally hurt LOVEs (or get hurt himself), because people got really competitive in the games! Haha! Unfortunately we lost the second round again, placing us 2nd again.
The fourth game also required volunteers. This time I decided to sit out, as I had tripped one time during tog-o-war and my knee started to hurt a little (I later noticed that I got a bruise there, the heat of the moment…). The game was to form a group of 7, that would each grab a rope to this platform, where they would bounce a balloon. Most bounces won. I am not sure if my explanation makes sense, so here is a screen shot of a video I took of people playing!
Bouncy balloon game
This game turned out to be a bit tricky, and unfortunately we lost the first round and ended up 3rd place. Aaron’s new team did quite well in this game, and I believe they came 2nd.
So many games, but the mini sports day was not over yet! Fifth game was that each team formed a line holding hands, and then we should pass a hula hoop from the first person to the last, with every person having to pass through the hula hoop. We won the practice round, but then the actual round came and even if I thought we were super fast, our time placed us 3rd again.
Once all four teams had finished, we were instructed to face one of the teams next to us, and do rock-paper-scissors with the person we faced. I lost… We were then told to give the winner a shoulder massage (or rather, I copied what everyone else was doing). After that it got really confusing and it took me some time to understand that we were creating trains of winnelosers of rock paper scissors. Luckily I managed to re-attach to the girl I lost to originally, and then she lost rock-paper-scissors to the first train we came across, so I could just tag along for the rest of the round. In the end, we had formed three trains. So they faced off in a final round of rock paper scissors. The three people leading the trains represented the blue, yellow, and orange teams, unfortunately no purple team representative, so we automatically ranked 4th. The two losing trains attached to the winner, finally forming one long line, and Aaron joined in to lead the train. We ran around like that for a bit, and us towards the middle of the train got to give Aaron high-fives as our section passed his, so fun!
The final scores were calculated afterwards, and purple team came 4th overall… Yellow team won, and got to take a winner’s picture with Aaron. After the winner picture, we all were instructed to join in for a full group picture, which I will include here!

The sports day ended up taking longer than scheduled, so both dinner and the after party ended up being postponed for half an hour. At dinner, a Korean LOVE came up to say hi to me, and it turned out she was the Korean LOVE I met at the Dejavu fan sign in 2018, almost 6 years ago! I was so surprised and happy to see her. Once a LOVE, always a LOVE, haha :)
The after party was the last official activity of the day. This time we did not get as lucky with seats, and ended up more towards the back. But we were still close enough to have a good view! Aaron started with Wi-fi, and we all did the fanchant. It is such a fun and easy fan chant, red! green! stop! wifi! wifi! …wifi!
Another section of the party was the prize giving for the treasure hunt. This is where I remembered that the treasure hunt had been part of the information the first day, and that I had completely forgotten about it after, oops. Other fans had found all treasure notes pretty quickly, and were given various gift bags. A couple of the treasure notes were challenge notes, and fans played rock paper scissors agains Aaron to claim their prizes. Aaron told them in advance what he would do so they would win, haha! There was also a new game there, to guess the song from the first 0.5 second of it and then to sing the first verse correctly, without looking at lyrics. I quickly resigned that I stood no chance, and just enjoyed the performances. The fans sang so well! The two songs were Cherry Blossom Ending by Busker Busker, and Tears by So Chan Whee, and the fans who sang them were awarded with the figures Aaron painted during DIY class.
Next segments was Aaron reading letters that LOVEs had sent in the mail box from the reception. I wish I had met the K-LOVE earlier, so I had a story to share too, but in the end I had ended up not sending a letter. One of the letters was from a teacher who had taken her first day off to join the fan camp. She wrote about a boy in her class that also liked NU’EST.
During the After Party, there was also more performances by Aaron! He performed his solo song from last year, Time Difference, for the first time live! Video, since Korean fancammers recorded it way better than I did on my phone. He also performed a cover of Jung Jae Wook’s Goodbye, and we did sing-alongs of Sleep Talking and LOVE ME, where Aaron sang his part and we joined in with the rest. Some parts went better than others, haha!
As the event was ending, we were instructed to line out before the exit, where we got to do hi touch with Aaron before leaving. As we did the hi touch, I hurried to tell him I would see him again at After School Club the following Tuesday, as I had just found out I got in to the recording that morning :)

DAY 3

In the morning of Day 3 we again had breakfast, I decided to skip after hearing it was soup again. I am sorry… I had orange juice and eggs from GS25 outside instead, which was also quite cozy, as it had stopped raining.
Check out and boarding buses was scheduled at 10am, so we decided to do the check out at 9:45am and then head to the buses, to make sure we did not misunderstand, and also to possibly avoid lines. Once we had all boarded the buses, we were told to wait as Aaron would board all buses and wish us good bye before we left. On our bus he spoke to us in both Korean and English, and we got to say bye one last time before the bus left for Seoul again. It was such a fun and unique experience, and we all got to be closer to Aaron than I had ever expected.

BONUS! After School Club recording experience

I am not sure how many people here watch After School Club, but if you watched the recent episode, you might have noticed a blonde white girl on the left side of the live audience. That might have been me.
With Aaron being an MC at After School Club, five of the fans in the live audience at After School Club will be his. I had applied before leaving for the fan camp, and found out that Saturday that I had gotten in. Two more of the LOVEs were foreign LOVEs that had flown in for the fan camp, and the remaining two were Korean LOVEs.
I arrived an hour early at the Arirang Building, since I was paranoid I would get lost and miss it. Just outside was a food truck that Cravity fans had arranged for Allen’s birthday. After the other LOVEs had arrived and we had signed the consent forms, Aaron Allen and Taeyoung walked past us to visit the truck and get snacks. Aaron waved and made a heart to us when he walked back, as he could tell we were his fans. Us three foreign fans were wearing our hoodies from the MT. Here’s a picture of Aaron doing a heart while holding the snacks from the birthday truck!

Once inside, us Aaron fans were placed on the side closest to the wall, and Aaron immediately came up to say hi to us as he walked into the studio. The show started, and it was a lot of fun to see everything from that angle. The group there was really talented, and we got the perfect angle of Aaron trying to learn the choreo for the dance challenge, haha!
Once the show ended, we all sang happy birthday to Allen and Aaron brought in a cake. It was really funny how Allen pretended not to know what was going on and purposely tried to avoid looking in the direction that Aaron would come from. The AC also accidentally blew out the candle before he did, but we still cheered!
Aaron came up to us to chat after that. Before the show, we were given message signs so he took a closer look and read all of ours. I had written the Swedish “I love you” on mine, so he made another attempt at saying it. So cute. Then the MCs left, and we had to leave the studio too. I followed the other LOVEs to the road coming up from the parking garage, so we could wave to Aaron as he left. Since he was driving his own car, while the other MCs and the guests had drivers, we had our side of the road for ourselves. According to the other LOVEs, the wait was longer than normal, likely due to Allen’s birthday, but eventually Aaron showed up in his car and waved to us as he drove past.
Here is Aaron driving past, and also a photo of me and the other LOVEs!

Me and the other ASC LOVEs
Then me and one of the foreign LOVEs, a girl from Singapore, went to get katsu for a late lunch, as Aaron had recommended it earlier in the studio when we asked for lunch recommendations.
Overall, a few crazy days as an Aaron fan girl! I really hope I can go if he decides to do it again :)
