 | The main goal or purpose of this was I just wanted to add in some of the best Baseball players I've grown up with and I wanted to create my own ratings/abilities based on performance/analytics(numbers) over a certain period of time to see how different eras of players stack up and so I started my journey... submitted by IronMan1238 to SuperMegaBaseball [link] [comments] HUGE disclaimer - I did this for fun probably spent over 200+ hours offline researching, spreadsheeting, Googling and 100 hour-ish adding/tinkering in game. I didn't think I would ever enjoy something like this as much as I did, but man did I get some immense enjoyment and dopamine spikes partaking, ha. That being said AGAIN this is all just for fun and I tried to rely just on the numbers I've captured and biases aside; SO if you think someone is better than x or if you think this is wrong good for you. I'm just trying to share my experience because none of my friends wanna play with me, haha. I started by grabbing all my favorite nostalgic players ie Barry Bonds, Strawberry, Thome, Griffey Jr, ARod, Derek Jeter, Greg Maddox, Chipper Jones, Sammy Sosa, Mark McGwire, John Smoltz, etc. After this I just started going through MVPs and All Stars over the last 50 years just to see who was this shit and who wasn't (tried to stay away from 1 hit wonders). I wanted to keep it somewhat narrow, but tried to grab like the best 15 players from each position give or take. Batters - Main Tab Pitchers - Main Tab I started by grabbing about 5-10 or all years of a players main stats categories from FanGraphs:
Batter - Actual Stats So after entering these years(rows) of data for each player into a Excel Spreadsheet I setup many formulas to give me an idea of what was high, avg and low for each stat category I wanted to capture. Example - I took a few of the best years Barry Bonds and Babe Ruth had and figured out what their ISO, wOBA, wRAA, wRC+, Off, BABIP, AVG, BsR, SBs(for speed) was. (I did the same concept for Pitchers trying to assign different stat categories to ability points ie K/9/FIP = Velocity, BABIP/FIP = Junk, B/9, FIP = Accuracy... Pitchers were much harder to find good stat categories for comparison so take it as it is.) (Fielding was also difficult, but I found a few stat categories like DRS, UZR, Def, Arm(for both OF and C) that were good at comparing each other and by positions. Then with a little more research on who was winning Glove Gloves, who was throwing people out from the OF, who had cannons, C throwing out baserunners, etc. I was able to get a good idea on how to match my stat categories/ability points to this. I also did the same for Batters/Pitchers, but I will get more into that when I talk about traits below.) Obviously these stat categories for Barry Bonds and Babe Ruth were all incredibly high for their best years so I had to figure you how to compare others to this, so that is where I got an avg stat category number for each for all players + every year they played. I created a sliding scale that started with that avg stat category number of that specific stat category equaling 50 ability points. Then I would assign a specific value that would increase/decrease it incrementally to give it a 0-99 ability point value ie ISO for both these players were so high it didn't make sense for those to be max on the sliding scale so sometimes players were wayyy above the max value so it is what it is. I wanted to grab more categories that I could apply to each of the main abilities points ie Power, Contact, Speed, etc. to average this out. ISO Table I ended up making 5 different stat categories for Power, 3 for Contact and 2 for Speed. I would say this isn't perfect, but it was fun. Pitching was 2 for each Velocity, Junk, Accuracy. Fielding was 3 for Fielding and a combination of things for Arm depending on your position ie IF, OF and C. After this I created a Pivot Table with a few more formulas to grab all the Seasons that would be qualified ie Batters had a PA minimum and Pitchers had an IP minimum. Batters - Pivot Table And then after this I had my main tabs for Batters/Pitchers that were just a simple ArrayFormula to go grab the best 5 Seasons/years for each ability point category(you can refer back to the Batters/Pitchers - Main Tab Screenshots to see that). I experimented with many different numbers for Seasons/years that would be included, but felt like 5 was the most fair or if at least anything created a little space in-between players. So my last step was going through all these Batters/Pitchers and doing a few double checking of data points ie researching/Googling best OF/C/IF arms in Baseball, best Pitchers, best CF, LF, etc., best fielders in those positions, clutch players, most RBIs, SBs, HRs in a single season to see if my numbers made sense with what people were saying. After some small adjustments to make those make sense I had my ability points. So I took this step above also to figure out who was going to get what Trait wise. I looked for Clutch, RBI Hero, Stealer, Elite 4F, Specialist or any Trait that I felt like matched what that player was known for. This is probably the most subjective part and sometimes I just gave them something if they were a top player in that ability point category ie 90+ Power, 90+ Speed etc. I wasn't stingy with these traits either I pretty much gave everyone 2 albeit the strong traits to the better players. If they weren't an already created Legend I made sure to try to create their look based on a quick Google search of there most ridiculous features ie hair, beefy/ripped, ridiculous batting/pitching stance. I also prefer the announcer says a name rather than just putting in their name via text ie Wade Boggs is Wade Biggs; Derek Jeter is Derek Jeterson. Examples of Players I guess last thing would be I created a 32 Team League with some of the already created teams from SML and Legends League and then created a few others I just liked Mascot wise. I picked a funny State and actually divided up Teams based on Regions and tried to match a good Stadium for each. Created/Generated Teams:
Team Names + Stadiums + Misc I've set it up also so I can add in Players pretty easily(added Acuna Jr and updated Judge, Ohtani 2023 Season/year) just put in the years you want calculated on the stats tab and add them to the main tab and the formulas do the rest! Hope at least 1 person enjoys! haha. Since I've finally finished I've been running shuffle draft modes constantly so much fun! |

 | The adoption organization listed him as a 14 pound Rat Terrier. After adopting him I immediately felt he was smaller than 14 pounds and checked his paperwork. Found out that his vet paperwork states he is a chihuahua. I think he is a Rat-Chi and he is weighing in at 11 pounds. My only concern so far is the barking. He barks at our 9 year old dog and I need that to stop! Any tricks or tips? I didn't sign up for a chihuahua, so I am definately flying blind here. As the title says, I’m moving and can’t take my plants with me. I’ve got a bunch of different kinds of orchids (lots of phals, mini phals, oncidiums, cattleya, brassavolas, Vanda, maxillaria tenuifolia coconut orchid, mini oncidiums and a couple others that I’m not sure of the names), some fiddle leaf figs (REALLY big ones), and a few other miscellaneous things. I’m open to reasonable offers, but I’m not interested in just giving them away. Most of these, I’ve had for several years and are very well established. I also have strawberry plants (they are in the ground now, but very easy to pull up and they transplant super well), more tomato suckers than you could even begin to count 3, some small succulents and plumeria that I’m happy to give cuttings from...everything must go!

I’m going off the grid never to seen again on Instagram! Dimmy: Whatever. Push with your feet! Stevie Cycle: Mommy, look I’m doing so good. Dimmy: You’re doing a great job! Stevie Kate: If only you would do a great job potty training me and dressing me in the proper clothes to play outside in! I just lost a toe in these sandals and my nightgown got caught in the spokes! Dimmy: I think when I look back years from now, I’ll be like why the fuck are all my family memories on Astroturf? If we’re not traveling, Stevie Kate’s either in the Astroturf side yard or we’re all on the Astroturf at the local shopping center having a picnic. We live on Astroturf almost daily when it’s nice outside! It’s such a fun way to be outside without ever coming into contact with actual nature- yuck! When we’re not being fake online, we want to sit on something fake offline!
Headed into my six week postpartum appointment! Steven wanted me to go today so I can get the all-clear to have sex with him for our anniversary tomorrow. Damn where did the time go? How has it been six weeks already? That was way too brief of a break from the bed troll.
It has been way too long since I washed my hair. It is so gross. But that’s not stopping me from continuing to not wash it! I am going to use my time to shill you shower bombs instead. I may be dirty, but I will soon be filthy- filthy rich that is!
Thursday
Dimmy: Today is our nine-year wedding anniversary! To celebrate, none of us washed our hair or changed any diapers, then we headed out on a walk. The girls wore last night’s pajamas and I wore London incorrectly. So basically today was just like any other day! Let’s take a trip down memory lane, shall we?
In 2014 I started dating Steven after meeting him in HLTH code founder / BYU professor Ben Bikman’s weightlifting class, turning him down a million times, and dating a bunch of other guys. Once we started dating, we traveled the world together, which to me is the equivalent of being wined and dined, so I said yes when he asked me to marry him. What was I thinking?
2015! Also known as the year I made the biggest mistake of my life. We got married and became permanent planet partners forever.
2016 was a happy year. Steven and the rest of the Houghtons hadn’t totally sucked all the life out of me yet.
By 2017 the tide was starting to turn, but here’s a photo from when I still looked happy and carefree.
2018 was so bad I deleted all the photos from my phone except this one of Steven with the stupid body pillow I gave him that used to pop up as IG content as often as Active Skin Repair ads do now.
2019 was a year of travel and leisure, so it looked pretty much like every other year.
2020! We moved to Arizona for Steven’s failed “business venture,” started locking the fridge and bounced a raw Thanksgiving turkey on a sheet like a parachute with Steven’s family and the Frankenstones during the height of COVID.
2021! This was the year Steven made me roller blade for diapers containing either shit or money on Mother’s Day a few short weeks after giving birth, and also the year he shoved McDonald’s down my throat until I cried. It really was a life-changing year, because the CONTENTOT arrived in 2021, earning us so much cash that…
…In 2022 we were able to begin an annual tradition of five-week summer vacations around the world. It was also the year of Stevie Kate’s big first birthday bash that Steven skipped to get a blepharoplasty, and I ended up crying in the closet.
2023 was a bust. I got pregnant with the Disappointment Baby, not the male heir Steven wanted. He said if I threw a huge gender reveal influencer bash for our second girl, he would skip it like he did SK’s first birthday party. So we sulked off to Deer Valley to see my family instead and made Tanner troubleshoot the faulty pink confetti cannons in the rain while Steven lounged about inside on his phone. Tiffany was a no-show because God blessed her with a $2 million housing miracle, but we didn’t want her there anyway.
2024! The year Steven took Stevie Kate to China and truly showed what an unfit father he is. She almost didn’t survive. This was also the year we didn’t tell Stevie Kate she turned three until April, and also we became a family of four! And all of you assholes are thinking, wow, does this girl not have a limit? How does she tolerate Steven and his terrible family and not walk out the door?
Friday
Dimmy: For our anniversary yesterday we stayed at a hotel while someone (Diana, but I won’t give her credit) watched the girls. I knew Steven had the hotel booked but all day I thought I wasn’t getting anything else, just a night with the fridge troll. 🤢 He didn’t tell me happy anniversary or give me flowers or anything. But I was wrong! When I got to the hotel there were roses in the middle of the bed, along with a fucking chocolate cake! There were also four chocolate covered strawberries and a random ass brownie scattered on the the white bedspread. And that’s not all! Cap’n Crunch, Fruity Pebbles and Lucky Charms were in the room too! And a box of Dirty Dough cookies. But you know what was missing? Plates, bowls and utensils! Thank goodness Steven had his rusty pocket knife. I was hoping he’d get tetanus or eat so much sugar he’d pass out without touching me!
Dummy must still be fighting his way out of a sugar fog because today he’s “too busy” to go car shopping with Dimmy, but apparently not too busy to watch Stevie Kate while Dimmy, Diana and London flitted about from luxury car dealer to dealer looking at giant vehicles. The trio traveled by orange parachute, which also doubled as a dress Dimmy wore. 🪂 No one could focus on the cars Dimmy showed or any of the features she was comparing because her billowy parachute dress was too distracting.
Dimmy: Before I sign off for the night, you know I’ve got to shill something dumb first because the only thing I like more than sleeping ten hours a night, is making money while I sleep! ARMRA COLOSTRUM. We have been using this for months and we do not get sick because we take Armra every single day! 🤥

Dimmy: Guess again! Stevie Kate: Princess Aurora? Dimmy: Remi Denner! Stevie Kate: Nooooo! Dimmy: I’ll buy you a donut if you cooperate! The Denner girl turned out to be the least of Cinder Kate’s worries as the Denner boy, that bratty overgrown baby named Rhett, escaped his double stroller and took her hand while she was walking ahead of the group pretending she didn’t know who any of these assholes were. Speedy Kate shook him loose and took off running, making a mental note to bring her scooter next time for an even faster getaway. She ran all the way home to watch Cinderella and get her mind off the whole awful ordeal but no one would let her watch her movie so she just binged Dimmy’s powdered sunscreen video over and over that was part of her PR package. Watching an ad for sunscreen sure beat hanging out with the Denners.

- The Stetson Kennedy Foundation and the St. Johns County Parks Department present "Sundays at Stetson's," a much-loved concert series held at Kennedy's former residence, Beluthahatchee Park. Each month, this folk music series features a different musician or group — one who carries on Stetson Kennedy's traditions and values.
- The concerts take place inside one of the property's buildings from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. one Sunday a month. The concerts are free, and donations are accepted. 2024.05.11 06:19 Cupcake112014 Analyzing 2000s Strawberry Shortcake: Pilot Episode
The 2000s SS was an integral part of my childhood, and now that I'm older, I want to analyze the episodes, one by one. I can't give a great justification for doing so, aside from the fact that I want to. 2000s SS is far from perfect, but it has this charm and aesthetic that I can't help but love. Also, a fair warning: these posts will be filled to the brim with spoilers, so read at your own risk.
Anyways, onto the episode at hand. As the pilot, its job is to introduce us to the main cast of characters. We're first introduced to Strawberry Shortcake herself, as well as her 1 year old sister Apple Dumplin, her talking cat Custard, and her non-talking dog, Pupcake. It's Apple's birthday, and so they all go on an adventure to find party supplies, and make several friends along the way. I get the sense that SS and her little family haven't been in Strawberryland that long, since they haven't been to any of the places or met any of the people that they meet. As the audience, we get to meet the rest of the cast alongside SS and crew. In the beginning, Custard complains that there's no other cats like herself, and that there aren't any tuna berries. Through going on this adventure, she learns to accept the other characters for their differences. It helps that these new friends also accept Custard for her differences (eg. Ginger Snap giving Custard a tuna cookie and Orange Blossom giving her a bowl of milk). Speaking of the new friends, we first meet tech-savvy, fast-talking Ginger Snap. We also get the first song of the episode, which is an earworm. Ginger's cookie machine starts malfunctioning, and Strawberry helps her fix it. In stark contrast, they next meet Orange Blossom (side note, her early season design without the hat is kinda unsettling. I'm glad they changed it after season 1), which is much less chaotic. I find it strange that they start with the musical number for this one (albeit a cute song), and the fact that they immediately become friends, since Orange is characterized in later episodes as being shy around new people. Her segment feels extremely rushed, like they cut hers to practically nothing to give the other segments more time. Next, they meet Angel Cake, and help her make an apple cake for the party. Admittedly I don't have much to comment on for this segment, aside from the fact that it's cute that they all pitched in to make the cake, except poor Pupcake was told to nap instead. Next, they try to find Upper Hat Rack to get party hats, but end up lost. Instead they meet Honey Pie Pony, an extremely talkative and well-travelled horse. She ends up getting them even more lost, but they meet the token boy of the cast, Huckleberry Pie. He ends up making party hats out of vines, and taking the gang to the river fudge, where they nearly lose everything. Huck and Honey come in clutch and save Apple and the stuff they'd gathered before. Unfortunately they lose their wagon, but again, their new friends come in clutch and build them a raft to get home. Once Strawberry and crew are home, they realized that they forgot to invite anyone, even though they told everyone they met that they were having a party. Ig these kids are all vampires, and need to be invited before they go anywhere. They make invitations by letting Pupcake get paint on his paws and jump around on a sheet of paper. Small details, but there's no way that mixing hot pink, dark blue, and teal would have actually made that light pink color, and shouldn't those invitations have been shaped like pawprints instead of butterflies? Oh well, I digress. Then they finally have the birthday party for Apple and we get the third song, which is just a happy birthday song that wasn't gonna get the creators sued. Also, sidenote: it's not really clear how much time passed throughout this episode, since the journey had to have been really long, but we never see the sky darken. Anyway, we get one more musical number from Strawberry, and then the episode ends. Custard has learned to accept other's differences, and Strawberry has met many new friends. Some of these new friends become mainstays (Ginger, Orange, and Angel) and others not so much (Honey, Huck, and even Apple stops appearing after a while. My theory is that she grew up and moved away, but it's never explained in the show). All in all, this episode is cute, but it's also the start of the series, so the animation and pacing are pretty rough.

Catz and Tenty walked in to see the crew pushing more generators and battery rocks onto the ship, her petite form looking lovely in a frilly pink dress. Flicking her tail with curiosity, Tenty waved me over. Succumbing to her request, her eager eyes glittered with excitement. Pressing her gloved hands together, the new leather button up dress looked fantastic. The bonus thing was that leather was easier to clean.
“When you go to that planet, could you get your hands on this tea called thistleburg? It has the sweetest taste of strawberries and cream.” She pleaded an even bigger smile than the one she bore a few seconds ago. She did watch my kids while I was gone, the tea wouldn’t be an issue. Placing my hand on her shoulder, admiration brightened her smile.
“Sure thing. I look forward to trying it.” I returned simply, Scampy leaping into my arms. “Be a good boy. I promise to pick up when you call.” Tears glistened in his eyes, my real smile doing little to relieve his fraying nerves. Setting him down, Tenty offered him her hand. Accepting it with a weary smile, Jack came out of the kitchen with Basy. My pets slithered up to my side, my palms rubbing behind their heads. Passing her over to Tenty, they exchanged words for a couple of minutes. Running the plan through my head, something had to come to fruition. Kissing the tops of Scampy and Basy’s heads, Mortos came in in his space suit. Dusting off my own, Jack had my usual mechanic’s suit on his arm. Climbing onto the ship with me, Icy came on with Jack. Whiskers and his brother found their way into their seats, Whiskers’ eyes watching me hook up my harness. Zoning out while everyone got settled, it dawned on me that I was the one lady on the trip. Fussing with my golden chains, Jack played with the tip of my ears as he took the captain’s chair. Scarlet flushed my cheeks, his crooked grin caused my heart to skip a beat.
“Stuck in your head again? This mission should be fairly simple.” He assured me with a crooked grin, flipping the switches. “Then again, trouble seems to find you.” The door opened, my snakes hissing the moment I strapped them to my chair. Shooting them a stern look, their tongues flickered against my cheeks. Ignoring the odd looks, anxiety built in their eyes as the ship backed out onto the street. Straightening out, the ship shot into the inky sea of diamonds. Stabilizing the gravity of the ship, a sigh of relief cascaded from my lips. Plucking the files from the side pocket of my chair, the information not adding up. Another problem lurked underneath the surface, a monster had been plaguing the refugee camp. Why not, right? Missions could never be simple and everything had to go wrong if it was going to.
“What is this monster plaguing them?” I inquired with a pensive expression, Jack asking for the details. “Webbed feet and leaves a trail of blue slime on the trees.” Seeing my snakes recoil at those words, Jack groaned gruffly with an impressive eye roll. What fresh hell were we flying into?
“Sounds like a galgatoad.” He grumbled under his breath, his eyes flitting between my snakes and me. “They eat Ratalia and Ratonia for a snack. Not to mention that damn slime is rather venomous to certain aliens. That probably should be dealt with.” Mulling over what he said, the wheels of my mind began to churn. If it was poisonous to them, then it would be poisonous to me. Continuing down that line of thought, Solomon would die if he came in contact with it. Please don't hate me for my next suggestion.
“Correct me if I am wrong but we could boil that slime down to create a proper venom to kill Solomon, right?” I suggested calmly, shock rounding my comrade’s eyes. “Hear me out! Lifting it out of the ground, he bounced it off of his palms until enough of the air had built in his palm. Spinning it off of his palm, the bomb exploded midair. Rolling his hand around, a blast of wind sent the flames and debris into the dark side of the planet. Not one drop of new sweat glistened on his brow, his attention falling on me. Too weak to move, his strong arm tossed me over his shoulder. Bewilderment mixed with wonder at the display of powers.
“Let’s get your dumb ass patched up. Neptune must have a cure.” He sighed with a goofy grin, his head cocking to the left with a hearty chuckle. Purified water glistened in his palm, a tip of his hand cleansing the land of any nuclear chemicals. How the hell did he manage that?
“When did you learn to do all of that?” I queried with a twinkle in my eyes, his grin widening. “Why not inform your captain about all of that?” Shrugging his shoulders, a muscular snake demon in a simple button up shirt and worn leather overalls waved with a natural smile. His violet scales shimmered in the light, his golden snake eyes shimmered with pure bliss. Assuming he was Neptune, his smile grew bigger to reveal his curved snake fangs. At least his aura was as pure as the morning suns.
“Shally, you brought me the prize snake.” He teased playfully, Ratalia and Ratonia slithering up to us with wagging rattling tails. “Your snakes came to me to inform me of your little burns. Thanks for taking out that pesky croak of a toad.” Wondering how he was so cheerful naturally, my eyes flitted around the room he guided us into. The inner markings of the trunk made a lovely study of sorts. A crackling fire called me, the river rocks casting shadows in the light of the flames. Setting me down in a plush green chair, Neptune seemed head deep into a beat up box. Plucking out a tub of neon green ooze, nausea flipped my stomach about. Melting the ice with one touch, Whiskers skidded in. Leaving a cloud of dirt, my new friend slopped some of that darn ooze onto my arm. Biting my lips until a small ribbon of blood dribbled down my chin, the raw agony had me seconds from crying out. The agony died down to a dull throb, the sight of Icy and the boys had containers full of the frozen slime. Waving as they walked by, Whiskers wagged his tail, his ears pinning back at my clear annoyance. What was my issue? All of us were in one piece which meant that the mission was a success.
“I managed to gather a six month supply of that tea. Tenty will be tickled pink.” He chatted with me brightly, the attempt not easing my mood. “A feast is being held in our honor tonight.” Pressing his palms together, the sight of being at ease had my heart fluttering. Adjusting his jacket, he didn’t need to be here. Fun needed to be had in order to keep the well-being running smoothly among a good team.
“Go on a little date with your dear Shally.” I urged with a meager wink, his features illuminating to life. “Trust me, you both need it.” Shalleaux offered his arm, Whiskers’ arms hooking onto it. Gliding out, the fire and Neptune kept me company. Taking the seat across from me, his cheerful demeanor slipped to a more stern one. Resting my hands on the laps, the scars were going to be hideous. Would they make me hideous to my husband?
“Who are you? I mean who are you really?” He asked tersely, a maid setting down a tray of tea. “People like you are like a comet that comes by once a millennia. What scares me about you is that you are a ticking time bomb emotionally.” Shrinking back into my chair, no one had read me that well since Jack. Scratching at my cheek, his sharp gaze demanded my answers. Why did his aura demand answers?
“I am the literal half-breed of you. All I want to do is to become president of the universe to bring back it a new glory where all can be free to live. As for the ticking time bomb, you aren’t wrong. Enough shit haunts the recesses of my mind to kill the weak.” I returned with a gulp, hating the harsh feelings nipping at me. “Maybe we could reach a trade deal and get your people things as impressive as the current power systems illuminating your homes.” Leaning onto his hands, curiosity brought his eyes back to life. Please say yes to increase my chances against Solomon.
“Sure. The legends have been proven valid.” He mused with a bemused grin, his hands dropping to his lap. “How many independent planets have you made your unofficial allies? Our supplies have increased greatly since you have been running around fixing the systems. One more question! How come you never prosecuted any of us on our little planets? “ Massaging my forehead, this conversation had a strange hold on me. Wondering that myself, the principality of it was what held me back. Independent planets deserved to remain free as long as they desired.
“Why prosecute what wasn’t ours to prosecute?” I commented simply, waving my hand around. “You guys never joined the union. Running around on your own makes you guys stronger than I could ever dream to be.” Parting his lips to speak several times, Jack pounded into the cozy space. Cupping my face, his lips brushed against mine feverishly. My breath hitched, the release of his spell had me realizing how tired I was. Wiping away the blood with his sleeve, Jack doubled for a minute. Snapping his fingers in front of my face, the inability to focus had alarm bells ringing away. Giving him a list of certain medicines, Neptune excused himself to gather his supplies.
“I hope this lands on good ears but you can’t keep pushing yourself, Ali.” He chastised me clumsily, tucking a piece of hair behind my ear. “Next time you use your magic, let’s keep it within your limits.” Neptune came out with a big grin, the medicines clanking in another worn box. Accepting them with a gracious smile, Jack mixed the right ones together with a jolly hum. Pouring the muddy liquid down my throat, voices came in and out. Swaying back and forth, exhaustion had to be a nasty side effect. Falling from my chair, Jack’s strong arms caught me. A severe paralysis had me at his mercy.
“What did you give me?” I slurred languidly, my tongue weighing about twenty pounds. Pressing his palm to my lips, his face floated in the new lights. His lips moved a mile a minute, the words not entering my ears. Blinking a couple of times, his hand cupped my cheek. Mixed emotions flashed in my eyes, an apologetic smile lingering clumsily on his lips.
“It is a heavy sedative mixed with the best pain medication around.” He explained calmly, his voice getting deeper and slower by the second. “Sleep is what you need the most. Nightmares plague you but you still need slumber at the end of the day.” Nodding once, a rough darkness stole me away.
