2024.05.16 00:21 KarlosHungus36 "When did you last speak with her?"/"The boys found this, on the floor in back of the Caddy."

"When did you last speak with her?"
P14 Gordon asks Diane about her half sister Jane. 'speak' -- Peaks. Shortly before that, Albert told Tammy about Lois Duffy and mentioned that she did not have a twin sister (Tammy said 'conjured' alt 'conjoined;' an alt version of Duffys are twins? link to 'doubleheader in Vegas?'); so we have twin & alt 'speak' mentioned close together (alt 'Twin Peaks'). Twin alt 'twine' - Diane on the chair, alt bound like Laura was in the cabin? Finley's 'Fine' Twine, alt 'fair' city. The FBI room is alt Jacque's cabin? Gordon alt Jacques (alt Cousteau, alt team on underwater expedition, 'before I came up'), Albert alt Leo, Tammy alt Ronette. A couple times the trio were waiting for Diane to arrive ("Diane's on her way" P12 and P14), alt trio by the Corvette waiting for Laura; Diane when she came in talked about Cooper returning and raping her, Cooper is alt James and she's alt Laura? (visual with Cooper kissing Diane). So Diane & Cooper blend into the roles of James & Laura, FBI team alt the trio on the night of Laura's death. Gordon alt Jacques - 'high school sandwich,' P9 Gordon stands between Tammy and Diane, alt they are smoking outside the HS, Bill a HS principal is questioned in the next scene, Bobby linked directly to the TP HS in the previous scene, Lucy was just eating a giant sandwich; conference room alt a teacher's lounge, grown up Bobby alt the assistant principal (alt Betty) the assistant to Bill? Frank alt the principal? his office alt the principal's office? and a link between Bill Hastings and Frank Truman? more below.
FBI trio alt trio of Jacques (Gordon), Leo (Albert) & Ronette (Tammy). Waiting for Laura alt Diane 'on her way'; Diane sits on the chair alt 'bound' like Laura.
"The boys found this, on the floor in back of the Caddy."
Mulholland Dr., Detective Neal Domgaard played by Brent Briscoe (Dave Macklay) - his boys found a pearl earring inside the Cadillac at the scene of the car accident, belonging to Rita/Camilla. P1, Detectives Harrison and Macklay arrive to the Hastings home with 'the boys' and search Bill's house and car. Phyllis is not happy about it, turns to look inside and we get a long look at her pearl earring {Phyllis alt Rita? killed at her home, alt from the hit in MD; MrC alt the hitman "you did good...you follow human nature perfectly" cryptic comment, similar to Joe at Winkie's "when it's finished you'll find this where I told you."}. The other detective in MD, Harry McKnight, played by Forster (Frank Truman). P5 Frank's wife Doris storms into Hawk's office and complains and berates Frank about various issues at the house, she's alt Phyllis, Frank alt the husband? (in Bill's spot, see above). Macklay says that he knows Bill from high school alt Frank/Forster, his former partner whose prints were found at the crime scene and who he interrogates in P1? (Dave alt 'Neal Macklay'). Mack said Bill's prints were 'all over' Ruth's apartment. P9 Frank is given Garland's 'tube' by Betty, he touches all around it looking for a seam or button to open it (P11 Frank also touches Hawk's map, which had been rolled up like the notes inside the tube). 'Garland's tube' alt to 'Ruth's apartment?' Former contains two notes, latter contained two partial bodies. Officers Olson and Douglas P1 needed help getting into Ruth's apartment, had to go back outside to find maintenance man Hank, alt Frank & Hawk need Bobby's help to open the tube, had to go back outside; an alt version of Bobby, maintenance man at the station? So [Garland's tube] is alt to [Ruth's apartment] (two rolled up notes inside the tube alt bodies; Hawk's map also was rolled up, alt a body? Frank touches it, link to P17 Cooper to Frank "don't touch that body!"). In MD, there's another Ruth (Elms), the girls stay at her apartment and bring back another strange device that opens like the tube - the blue box. Betty, like Frank and the tube touches it all over (a different Betty gave Frank the tube) (maps - Betty & Rita look at a map before going to Sierra Bonita alt Frank & Hawk looking at the map before going to Jack Rabbit's, both scenarios involve long walks leading to bodies - the corpse or Naido; alt - Naido is a map? ("she's alive" alt to Hawk's map being a 'living entity') merges with MrC at death in P17 ("don't touch that body!") (who was also at the same site where Naido was found in P17, before he went to the station) going backwards into the story (like getting rolled back up into a 'map'; alt a rug, Frank Lebowski alt).
Garland's 'tube' alt the blue box in MD. Frank touches it all over link to prints all over Ruth's apartment.
What's inside the blue box? We see a black void, link to the black symbol on Hawk's map? (might be alt Judy's, where Cooper goes P18, alt he was following the map, curiosity alt 'Caddy?' version where he arrives in a Cadillac in place of the Lincoln Towncar (link to the Chevy dealership P5); link to Blue Velvet, Kyle's character was just 'really curious;' killed the cat, Judy alt a cat? black?). Alt - the blue box was found by Macklay's boys at the crime scene (in MD the box ends up in Ruth's apartment and in P1 the crime scene is also in a Ruth's apartment); scenario where Macklay has it but can't open it? P1 Constance running prints at her computer, monitor black and blue background alt it's the box itself? (Rita's fingers alt Constance's in the POV shot) (the box also analyzes things? link to the glass box in the same part, [computer processing softly] in captions, Tammy is paired with Macklay P11 brining coffee and donuts, alt Tracey with Sam, Mack has the box alt Sam and the glass box; computeequipment also linked to the FBI's hotel room, inside of Diane's purse POV alt inside the box; inside/out in flux?). Constance, besides running analyses, holds Garland's body, alt there's a body inside the box? (layer collapses - with no Constance, the box itself = a body? link to Betty vanishing in a collapsed layer? corresponds with Frank finding the tube, no Betty? maybe merged with Hawk, alt finding the tube inside something in place of the pages). Rita opens the box in MD - numerous parallels between her and Cooper from the perspective of Watts (Betty or Janey-E), alt it's who Cooper opens it? (Pilot: Cooper and Harry in the conference room try to open Laura's diary, which was hidden in her bedroom alt the box hidden in Ruth's bedroom closet, but no key for the diary, so Dale just breaks its open, link to P9 and the tube which they couldn't open. Opening the box sends him to Judy's (possible link to the map symbol) and combines his 'head' with Garland's body? He wakes up at the hospital in Las Vegas (female doctor alt Constance overseeing Garland's body in Buckhorn) ('Headley' alt to 'Macklay?' LV vs Buckhorn versions; Headly signifies a 'head' level of the story? Mack signifies a 'truck' level, or world? world of truck 'drivers' alt doppelgangers? Cooper P2 looks out of the red room and sees his doppelganger (who is 'in Buckhorn') driving, alt a truck).
Two mountain peaks behind clouds in P5 alt Blue Pine Mountain & White Tail Peak? The cross symbol alt the Chevy logo. Cooper P18 alt driving (in 'Caddy' in place of Towncar) looking for Judy's alt black symbol on the map.
Blue box alt Constance's computer; black and blue. Macklay alt has the box from the crime scene.
Summary: Macklay (alt Neal) and his boys find the box at the crime scene from P1, old partner's prints (alt Frank) are on it, Cooper (alt Lt Knox) arrives to investigate and alt to him and Harry in S1 and the diary in the conference room (and link to Hawk's map and the 'Judy' symbol also in the conference room), he opens it using force, transports him to a world where he's the 'head' that combines with someone else's body (which was inside or represented by the box). Since Ruth Davenport's head is combined with Garland's body in P1, is Cooper is alt 'Ruth?' [Both Ruths are red haired like Lt Knox (also like Linney James who walked down the hallway at Universal Studios like Cindy Knox at the morgue in Buckhorn), alt Cooper in her spot who was sent by Gordon alt Col Davis?]. Ruth link to 'Roth' (Tim)? Hutch in P9 parallels the maintenance man Hank in P1 (both have mystery bags and stand by trucks); maintenance man also alt Bobby who broke open the box outside with force alt using tools, in place of Dale in the conference room forcing open the diary. {P5 Doris "I told you this!" link to 'Soulja Boy I told you' (soak link), Crank That; next scene P5 a boy Sonny Jim alt Soulja (dance link to Teach Me How To Dougie); Cooper P4 alt a maintenance man in the Jones kitchen fixing something? links between Briggs and Jones houses (visual 1 and visual 2); Garland mentions his soul when he went to the white lodge, returns home in S2 parallel to Cooper P18. So 'soul' linked to the Jones house and Cooper's presence there, alt Ruth/Roth}. Alt to a simple head & body (opener of box and box) - soul and body? Or soul and mind? Alt - a golden box represents a soul? (close to the cardboard box in P11?). Box or cube alt to the spherical 'seed?' The vehicle (shape like box or tube) represents a physical body, inside it (alt an apartment) or merged with the soul; which is 'opened' by a 'mind'? P17 - Gordon says that Jeffries was on to Judy (alt looking the place indicated by the black symbol on the map) and that Garland and Cooper were also onto Judy. Jeffries no longer exists, at least not in the normal sense, alt he lost his mind? Cooper takes over as the 'mind' (or alt curiosity) who combines with the soul (Garland) to continue the quest for Judy? A story with Cooper alt Roth, literal maintenance man, fixes something in the Jones house/kitchen (link to Hawk stopping by to check in on and help Sarah who is a widow), has or acquires the soul of her late husband? 'Mend' (to repair) alt 'mind'; Cooper following in the footsteps of Jeffries, literal repair man in the body of Roth/Hutch alt 'apartment' of Ruth ('story' alt body; two stories alluded to by Charlie, link to "3 bodies?" Lorraine, alt 3 stories?). Summary 2: repair main has or acquires the soul of late husband, falls in love with a widow, named Judy? Flip side: curiosity killed the cat, named Judy, black cat? (alt the bum in MD?) Like a black trap that a curious person falls into; alt scenario - Cooper (alt Jeffery, in BV?) digs up dirt on the girl he's falling for, which ends up killing the romance? Link to Diane in S3 "none of your fucking business" she's alt Sandy if the romance with Jeffery didn't pan out.
Hallway walks, Lt Knox parallels Linney James.
-P9 outside in the parking lot Bobby throws the tube against the ground, police cars blue and black in the lot link, to the blue box in MD (black void inside), 'throwing' link to the Mitchums (Bradley doesn't trust that rat fuck Anthony as far as he can throw a car), Frank & Hawk alt the brothers who can't open the box; Candie alt Bobby their sidekick, link to Castigliane Brother; Bobby alt or 'Bobby Mitchum?' (brothers Brad & Rod, B & R, alt Betty and Rita?). Mitchums place P10, has pool alt to Adam's house on MD, alt they have the blue box or something similaalt and can't open it? (gold box? similar to the cardboard box Cooper brings P11, alt he's the tool man who helps them open it).
Mitchum brothers alt Frank & Hawk; or alt 'Bobby Mitchum' opens the device (alt a box), Brad & Rod, B & R, alt Betty & Rita? Cooper P11 brings the cardboard box and it's opened, alt helps them open a box?
-P9, Dave Macklay walks at the morgue and tells Albert details around the body (alt Gerard walks with Cooper), says Ruth's head was 'atop' the body of Major Briggs. 'atop' alt stop, link to Richard, alt Richard and Linda as the body & head? Richard and Linda - 'ra' and 'la' missing a 'u' to make 'Laura?' alt version where Laura is found dead in bed in her room? Pete finds corpse in the Pilot, alt he's her younger brother? "oh dear" calls the sheriff etc. parents not home, on road trip alt Gordon (alt Garland) and Diane (alt wife Betty) traveling P9 ("is it alright if we make a short trip to Buckhorn"), daughter alt 'Laura Briggs?' The 'U' - link to Silver Mustang? (casino logo is a horseshoe, U). P5, Lucy 7 Insurance L/R with 'u' (alt casino - transition P5 from agency to casino; Mitchum Brothers MB alt Bushnell Mullins BM), with a conference room alt the station P4 (Laura's case evidence spread out). Conference room links to bedroom - rolled up map alt rug in Ruth's, where Dale opens the diary (and where the tube is not opened) alt the blue box.

2024.05.14 22:37 Enough_Wishbone7175 LLM sequence Approximations using CNN

Hey y’all,
Something I was pondering while watching my GPU spill into shared memory as training my model, can’t we view transformer inputs like grayscale images? Imagine I have a sweet batch of text inputs [B, S, T], what if I took that and expanded it to 4 dims and run it through a computationally efficient CNN and make an Auto encoder to reduce my sequence dimension and exponentially reducing my memory and run time! Then I thought, you moron, someone has thought of this, so I looked, nothing… Now that means one of two things.
  1. The shitty model lodged between my shoulders got a stochastic stroke of genius.
  2. Some fellow idiot convinced this idea, attempted it, wasted cash and got yelled at by his wife for burning cash in the AWS casino.
Can y’all crowdsource the answer on my multiple choice quiz. If anyone has access to more than my 3090, and wants to take a crack at this, message me I got a half baked plan rolling in abyss connected to my neck.
Cheers!

2024.05.12 04:28 shaneka69 MINNESOTA NUMEROLOGY DECODE

MINNESOTA NUMEROLOGY DECODE

Today I will be decoding the state of Minnesota. I recently did one for Massachusetts if you would like to check that out. I will begin decoding the letters in the state letter by letter and then point of conclusive insights afterwards.
M - This is the 13th letter of the alphabet which will point to the energies of 4 which represents caution, privacy, withholding, responsibility, order, restriction, and family. A place with this letter as the first letter will likely have things in order or order will be of significance.
I - This is the 9th letter of the alphabet which brings the energy of adventure, learning, wisdom, experience, and expansion.
N - Being the 14th letter, N vibrates at the energy of 5 which is the use of responsibility being used for creative purposes. This can take place in many forms, especially when it comes to a state and not a person.
N - Being the 14th letter, N vibrates at the energy of 5 which is the use of responsibility being used for creative purposes. 5 is the number of war and combat as well.
E - 5th letter of the alphabet which points to love, joy, romance, child-like energy, and creativity. 5 is the number of war and combat as well.
S - 19th letter which vibrates at the energy of 1, but in this case, Minnesota isn't a state looking to be in control or to get too much attention since the 1 energy isn't overbearing. In this case, the 1 represents being self-motivated and capable.
O - 15th letter of the alphabet which vibrates at the energy of 6. 6 is about discipline, hospitality, compassion, etc.
T - 20th letter of the alphabet which vibrates at the energy of 2. 2 is a money number and the number of cooperation, stability, and comfort. 2 is also about compassion as well.
A - 1st letter of the alphabet which is about action, observation, and opportunity.
Based on what we have decoded regarding the letters in Minnesota, we can see that the main repetitive number and energy is 5. 5 shows up 3 times in this state's name which equals 15 and then 6 when added and reduced. This is definitely a state that focuses on discipline, balance, and fairness. Justice or the justice system could be very significant for this state. This is also good for financial purposes because maybe they avoid causing financial problems for their residents. Family and love can also be significant for this state. They may welcome outsiders more easily than Massachusetts(I did a decode for them first). When violence arrises, they most likely take care of it as soon as possible to keep the state at a balanced medium.
We have the energy of 1 only repeating twice which means that this state may be more welcoming and cooperative in general. Could be nice acts of kindness pretty often. They likely create a fair workforce and living arrangements of their residents as much as possible.

2024.05.11 03:35 babyxxpigeon17 A Niagara vacation

It was so terribly cold. Snow was falling, and it was almost dark, when out of the blue, my wife called me at work. "We're going to Niagara Falls for the weekend. I got us an awesome deal!"
We had both been working at our first "full-fledged" jobs for a year and had reached that moment after graduation when you suddenly realize you can't make that impact on the world your student enthusiasm once promised. At first, I just sighed. It was the dead of January, and I had already expended all my energy on a week of inconsequential stress. I just wanted to collapse on the couch for two days. Sarah felt a similar weary exhaustion. I could tell. Her tone was more hopeful than excited, but she had dreaded the routine we were sinking into and was trying her best to pull us free.
I looked to the ceiling and adjusted my telephone headset. At that time I was working at Stats Canada on the tele-query desk. I took a deep breath and, as convincingly as possible, said, "Sounds good." I don't think she bought it, but we went nonetheless.
This was Niagara Falls before the casinos when there was a very distinct off-season. When we got to the hotel, we were given the details of our "lovers' special". One dinner to be used either Friday or Saturday, two breakfasts, a roll of tokens for the arcade, 10% off some "4D" movie ride experience, and a 2-for-1 coupon to Max Tussaud's. I guessed it was Madame's nephew? We also got a bottle of sparkling wine in our room and chocolate treats on our pillows. I was impressed. It sounded good.
When we got into our room and saw the "bottle" of wine - basically an aeroplane-sized glass and half - and the chocolates - "fun wrapped" Oh Henry's left over from Halloween - we both started to laugh. The tone for two wonderful days had been set. We decided to cash in on our dinner coupon right away.
The restaurant off the lobby had hopes of being better. There were huge panoramic windows that promised a view of the gorge. Unfortunately, they had some winter moisture problems that day, and it felt like we were defrosting amid the dripping streaks and foggy patches. The decor was your standard booths and tables though the "romantic" lighting was unique. Dollar store battery-powered tea lights were lodged inside thick tumbler glasses and shed a muted pleasantness in a "what a great idea for a craft" sort of way. I had a feeling they were created by our waitress since she was the one who always seemed to be fussing with them. Only one other couple was in the dining room, so she attended to us immediately.
"Can I get you something to start?"
"Sure." "Thank you, that would be nice." We both responded simultaneously.
"And what would the lady like this evening?"
Sarah smiled at the flattery. "I think I'll have a glass of white wine." She glanced over at me to see my reaction. This was a subtle cue of the mood to follow. Diet Coke was usually the beverage of choice. She didn't normally drink alcohol. One glass numbed her nose and made her giggle far too easily. When she did drink, however, it meant she was comfortable with my company and open to anything to follow. I raised my eyebrows in a debonair way.
"And for the gentleman?"
"Do you have Foster's on tap?"
"Yes we do."
"I'll have a pint please."
Sarah smiled at the happy memories I invoked. At university, Foster's was my signature beer. It was at a time when Crocodile Dundee was a known name, and Australia was inexplicably cool. 15 cent buffalo wings and a pitcher of Foster's was the Tuesday night special at the London Arms pub. There the Classics Club would meet and, as a group, circle the wagons and drink ourselves into extroverts.
As soon as the waitress left, Sarah smiled at me. She reached out and held my hand across the table. With my gaze on hers, she slipped her foot from her shoe and slowly began sliding it up my pant leg.
"I got a pedicure this morning." She announced seductively.
I nodded and pretended I didn't notice her invitation. "What colour?" I asked.
"I'm not telling." She teased. "You'll just have to find out later." Her devious little smile was gorgeous.
"Mmmm. I can't wait."
When the waitress returned with our drinks, we immediately retreated to our personal spaces as if we had been discovered by the chaperone. Sarah opened the menu and began to salivate at the variety.
"Can we add an appetizer to the package dinner?" Her question seemed innocent enough.
"You're on the package?" Our friendly waitress disappeared, and we were no longer a lady or a gentleman. She ripped the menu out of Sarah's hand and took mine before I had even opened it. She then scurried to her podium and brought back a tattered, grease-stained, photocopied page that we had to share. We both burst out laughing.
The waitress was flustered that we were not as bothered as she was. "The drinks are NOT included!"
"What choices do we have?" I asked, expecting the usual chicken or fish. I had been on many packages before with my parents.
"Coffee or tea." The waitress snapped.
Sarah and I looked at each other in amused disbelief.
"I'll have coffee please." I didn't even flinch at the ridiculously limited package. I was eager to get my order in early.
"And I'll have the tea!" Sarah followed my lead. "Can I have some milk with that?"
"Yes." The waitress snarled.
"Fantastic!" I enthused.
"Yes, great! I'm glad we got the package, Honey." Sarah joked.
The waitress stormed off and returned sometime later with our lettuce-only salads drowned in Kraft's Italian dressing and our chewy chicken dinners, which she had thoughtfully allowed to cool. She tossed the plates on the table and left us to peacefully devour our deal. We didn't see her again until we requested the bill. For some reason, we found it amusing to leave a generous tip, which of course, defeated the purpose of the package, but we didn't care. It was fun.
The rest of the holiday was marred with similar off-season products and services. The wax museum was only half open, so we couldn't see the pop stars of the seventies. I didn't think it was a problem, but Sarah pouted playfully. She really wanted to see young Bowie. Meanwhile, the arcade was particularly stingy about spitting out coupons. So much so that Mike, the scraggly-haired repair guy, ended up escorting us from game to game and repairing the devices on demand. In no time, he was acting like an old drinking buddy. He joked and laughed, then, out of the blue, revealed that working at the Niagara Falls Fun Centre wasn't his career choice, that his dream was to be part of a travelling carnival. He desperately wanted to see more of the world, he explained and socialize with a greater variety of "wildlife." Mike winked at Sarah to punctuate his meaning, then began advising her on which games to play.
Sarah was partial to Skee ball and clearly had career potential in the sport, but Mike quickly pointed out that the token-to-coupon payout was not the best. In a furtive whisper, he revealed that The Storm Stopper was your best bet, provided the arcade had left it on its original factory settings. He assured us the ones here were "cool." The game had lights that ran around the outside in opposite directions and you had to hit the button at just the right spot to win. It looked impossible, but Mike was right; if you calculated tokens in versus coupons won, it was the best deal. It only took a little practice to win a minor jackpot every 5 or 6 times.
We would cheer each win as if Toronto had won the Stanley Cup. I would give a quick fist pump and a full lung "Yes!" while Sarah would jump up and down screaming, "WhoooHooo!" Of course, in the end, when we cashed in, "Mike's secret" only bumped us up from a key-chain flashlight to a "deluxe" nail beauty set. Mind you, it did come complete with clippers, scissors, a file AND a cuticle scraper. Not only that, it was all neatly packaged in a paisley-patterned pink and green plastic vinyl case. Mike was so pleased to give us our prize and to be honest, we were thrilled to win it if only to see his broad chicletted smile. It was more of a trophy than a grooming set.
That night, I made reservations for us at a fancy Chinese food restaurant - the Bamboo Garden. When we arrived, we had half-expected renovations of some sort. Instead, the place was immaculate. Gentle pools teeming with goldfish highlighted the epic black and red Ming dynasty decor. Real candles flickered on crisp white tablecloths. Again, the restaurant was virtually ours. The reservations on my part were entirely unnecessary. In fact, as soon as we entered, they knew us by name and guided us directly to our table. A live lounge piano caressed the air, its notes danced vaguely around familiar harmonies until finally, as if prompted by our presence, a song emerged immediately accompanied by the velvet voice of oriental karaoke. It was our song remastered

2024.04.28 20:21 pc__ Starfield enhancements I'd like to see in the coming months and years

First off, I'm a huge Bethesda fan and I love the game. I've had periods of play where it's been the most compelling game I've ever played. I've also never experienced a game with so much untapped potential.
My hope is the support model for this game is more akin to Fallout76 and No Man's Sky, where there is continual development and major updates over a multi-year period. (I think there is a chance, given it's on Xbox Live, but if not we still have Mods!).
I agree with many of the comments about the weaker aspects of the game (although not in the overall sentiment). But rather than pivot away from them I'd actually like to see them double-down and further expand many of the weaker gameplay aspects because if they can make them work it will be a game unlike anything else out there (in a good way).
Anyway, here's some thoughts on what I'd like Bethesda to work on in the coming years. Keen to hear your ideas too.

1: More seamless space exploration and things to do with ships

I think this would ensure much more space based exploration and massively improve the feeling of actually travelling across the galaxy.

2: More gameplay variety on planets

3: Bars/Casinos/Clubs

4: Bounty Hunting

5: Trophy Hunting

5: Locations

6: Space campaign

Magic Item Dagger of Venom, Demon Armor, Instrument of the Bards Anstruth Harp.
I had an average group of five. Grimble 3000 Samurai 17 Tabaxi. Marmaduke War Cleric 17 Tabaxi. Dougart Time Lord Clockwork Sorcerer 17 Tiefling. Siv Monster Hunter 13 Champion 4 Wood elf. Adrianna Zealot Barbarian 17 Winter Eladrin.
Glitch.
The group is back in the casino on the platinum floor. Aurora walks in and sets down the courtesy basket. She grabs Dougart’s Staff of the Arch Sorcerer and breaks over her knee.
Aurora, “I will have a wood fire going in a moment. The Shemeshka Casino prides itself on using natural products.” Her eyes meet Dougart’s and it is love at first sight.
Dougart, “How did you break that magic staff? It is not possible.”
Aurora, “Love is the true Magic but even stage magicians don’t perform real magic silly. I will go get your platinum pass keys for the platinum lodge. And room service is 333 on the dial.” She leaves and Adrianna follows.
Adrianna, “I am agent A. MIRS. Multiverse Infernal Revenue Service. Do you have access to the real books?”
Aurora, “Yes. Meet me in House of Liars after supper.”
Mass chaos is happening in the room. This world does not have magic but they have all their abilities. The cards are laid on the table. Adrianna is an IRS agent and is going to bust Shemeshka. Dougart is in love with Aurora who he just met. Grimble 3000 was a humble post office work until Shemshka murder him by running a sixty-thousand-gallon milk truck into his mail truck. It wasn’t about dog earring her Dog Fancy magazines. Marmaduke was just kitten until Shemeshka Gamma Demon Rats bit her. They all have a gripe.
Shemeshka is going down tonight. Two Dougart are in this universe. One is him. The other is a cheap American knock off. A magic portal is somewhere in the casino. But a cloaking field is hiding it. The plan is made.
Marmaduke tosses her Sandcastle. GLITCH.
The group teleport into the security room. Two thugs object but are put down. The casino is quiet. It been closed for a year. The intercom crackles.
Shemeshka, “Dougart dear and guests. Could you meet me at the main stage? And bring your MIRS buddy. And those evil kitties too.”
Entering the casino floor the dust layer is over a year old. Shemeshka wears an ankle bracelet due to her house arrest.
Shemeshka, “Dougart I know you made friends with that traitor Aurora. She is in a safe place. Marry me and she will remain safe. I am only going to up for seven years for tax evasion. Marry me so you don’t have to testify against me. And after a few married man visits, we get along.”
Dougart, “No, and where is Aurora?”
Shemeshka, “Fine marry me first you lovely man and after five years you can take her as a second wife.”
Dougart, “No.”
Shemeshka, “Fine after three years you can marry her too.”
Dougart, “No”
Shemeshka, “Thug one and Thug two. Kill!” The fight starts and the mighty morphing elephant stomps on the Marmaduke and casts stupid on most of the party.”
Adrianna and Siv call “Summon IRS agents” and 13 berserkers arrive to help the party. Once the party is over, the group raids the secret get away stash and opens the portal to the Beholders Plane.
The modrons are marching. The Modrons are always marching. A mushroom beholder yells at the new maintenance team. The party is trying to get it bearings when two huge feet crash through the ceiling trying to stomp them. They vorpal sword whack both and move on.
The second trouble ticket has the maintenance crew trying to deal with skull of Beherit. Bert is not happy that the modrons are marching through his living room. Bert does have a bonus offer. If they take him with them, he will give them the location to the boss. And the coordinates to their original plane, and the fifth plane of Hell. Oh, they need to open the fifth plane and cuck him in.
Moving on to the third apartment the modrons are marching on. Marching on air. Not being able to follow them, the decide to platform across the dead beholder bodies. This goes well for the Samurai 3000. The rest fall into the bottomless pit which is 200 feet deep. Two befuddled beholders try to snack on the group. This does not go well for either group, both the team survives and takes a short rest in their sand castle.
DM Notes. Some of you were not paying attention about the pass keys to the longue. Good use of burning your blessings, and using your magic items you have acquired during the game. The dice did not like the group during the platforming section of the chapter. They burned all or most of their Lucky blessing. Remember what is in your treasure inventory. I do keep a players handbook handy if you need a hard copy. Let me know if the back room smells in the game store, we will get the air fresher machine to run while we are not there.
Grimble 3000 does want to DM for a group on game night. He will bring that up during the upcoming pot luck.
End of Session 516

2024.04.22 20:45 scribble-muse RECAP: MEMBERS VLOG -- "mundane chores + get ready with me + update on my weekend"

RECAP: MEMBERS VLOG --
"hey, channel members!"
  • we're in the kitchen and flashing back to last weds, getting ready for the MOLS.
  • mandatory list of everything she's working on like we're her mom or something.
  • time to address that sink full of dishes -- really unique content here, kids.
  • HAHAHAH she's been "living out of the dishwasher" the way she "lives out of the laundry baskets", but just figured out everything in the dishwasher has been dirty 😂
  • cynthia would just love the opportunity to f*ck up some homemade dishwashing detergent, let this be your warning, tinder.
  • she's been making homemade "sleepytime" tea with herbs, but she went ALMOST A WEEK without using the unisom. she still has that funky valerian root tincture that she never strained, and is sure that'll "do the trick". i bet it will.
  • thinking about ditching that giant dish rack that hangs over her sink -- wasn't that a yuletime gift from her former beloved? 💔
  • 😴😴😴 scrubbing and rinsing the sink and counters, y'all. she's in a hurry bc she'd like to drag the pups outside for 2 minutes before the stream begins.
  • 2nd list of accomplishments in.. 4 minutes. very good, darling. we're all so proud.
  • now, it's thurs evening, and it's time to watch cynthia put laundry in the machine 😐
  • breakdown of laundry schedule: 3x / wk, 1 load clothes, 1 load towels, 1 load bedding
  • cynthia washes all of her clothes on thurs, so she has everything available for those hot, grandma casino dates.
  • she's been slacking on washing bedding since the boyfriend bailed 😷
  • now, it's friday evening and we're naked ( in the robe, i checked, it's not her dReSsInG gOwN lol ) in the bathroom, getting ready for a self-date, and it's just no fun unless her fingers are lodged up her nose 😬
  • color of the day on friday was white, but our wee, gothy queen has nothing in white, so she's planning to wear the rEd sErPeNt dReSs. look out, grandpas!
  • cynthia's "about to invest in some high quality palettes", but for now, the "regular, old maybelline smokey eye" will have to do.
  • she got a tarte big ego mascara in the ipsy bag and is looking fwd to buying the full size for $27 -- and, as always, all amazon affiliate links are in the description box below 🥳
  • speaking of $27 mascara, do y'all think she paid any taxes this year?
  • no solid plans for the night: might go downtown, might look for live music -- but nothing about taking herself out to eat like she talked about on stream for like an hour and a half.
  • "every friday night is an adventure, and that's how i like it."
  • ugh, singing.
  • cynthia "wants to look nice and vampy tonight" 😂 so, it's burt's bees lip shimmer in plum + lip oil for shine.
  • BODY CHECK! red serpent dress, black tights, docs
  • hard cut to the bed -- cynthia tried to ignore the knocking at her door bc she wasn't expecting any deliveries, but surprise! it was her brother and a nephew!
  • she hasn't seen them since christmas, but the nephew was having a field trip nearby, and they decided to surprise her. they'll be back tomorrow ( saturday ) and will be bringing the entire fam for pizza and "a lovely evening".
  • now, it's monday, and we're at the writing desk for the weekend update!
  • turns out she went out to eat on friday lol nothing comes between cynthia and her calvins, err, a sizzling meat and cheese skillet from don juan's!
  • she felt bad about taking up a table all by her lonesome, y'all 😂
  • on saturday, her younger brother and his 4 kids came by with her step-father -- pizza was ordered, loveliness was had.
  • cynthia's 3 mos old nephew is "super advanced", must run in the fam.
  • she feels sooo lucky to be able to live in hot springs and get to see her family whenever they sneak up on her, ig.
  • on sunday, she watched "M3GAN" with the dogs, and liked the "murderous, creepy ass doll" 😶
  • but now, it's monday, and time to WORK!
  • cynthia makes sure to remind everyone that her birthday is coming up lol can't wait to see the stans turn it out! perhaps a new crown for our skinny qween?
  • she really hopes that we enjoy these "little bits and bobs" bc she know that our lives are not complete until we hear about how she eats off of dirty dishes.
  • 2pm therapy appt was cancelled bc dogs need meds from the vet. it's the small sacrifices.
  • SUPER BUSY WEEK! rescheduled therapy appt for tuesday, dogs need groomed, there's a lazer appt, and a a dr appt ( doesn't specify for what ) + putting out as much content as she can until the end of the month. strap in, kids!
  • but she's not complaining! she LOVES being our busy little beaver!
  • BYEEE! cynthia is extremely committed to these jazz hands outros 😂
  • and more slimy mushroom pics for our viewing pleasure.

2024.04.22 15:05 PetrZitskiy Unique Casino Offers: Buffets, Rooms, and Dress Codes

Unique Casino Offers: Buffets, Rooms, and Dress Codes

[ Unique Casino Offers: Buffets, Rooms, and Dress Codes ]
Casinos are more than just places to gamble; they are lavish resorts offering a variety of experiences that cater to gamblers and non-gamblers alike. From all-you-can-eat buffets and luxurious accommodations to specific dress codes, the world of casinos presents a unique blend of hospitality and entertainment. This article explores the distinctive features that casinos offer in terms of dining, accommodation, and attire requirements.

Buffets: A Feast for the Senses

One of the most beloved traditions of casino hospitality is the buffet. Renowned for their quality and diversity, casino buffets offer an extensive range of cuisine, ensuring there is something to satisfy every palate.
  1. Variety and Quality: Casino buffets are famous for their vast selections. Patrons can enjoy everything from seafood and prime cuts of meat to international dishes and decadent desserts. The emphasis is on fresh, high-quality ingredients.
  2. Themed Nights: Many casinos host themed buffet nights, offering specialties from different cuisines such as Italian, seafood, or barbecue, creating a culinary adventure for guests.
  3. Value for Money: Buffets typically offer excellent value, with one price granting unlimited access to a wide array of dishes that might otherwise be costly in a traditional restaurant setting.

Rooms: Luxury and Comfort

Casinos ensure that the luxury of the gaming floor extends to their hotel accommodations, providing guests with a high level of comfort and exclusivity.
  1. Suite Deals: From standard rooms to luxurious suites, casino hotels offer a range of accommodations. High rollers often have access to suite upgrades and deals as part of loyalty programs.
  2. Amenity-Rich: Rooms are generally equipped with top-notch amenities, including state-of-the-art entertainment systems, plush furnishings, and lavish bathrooms. Many rooms also offer spectacular views of the city or surrounding landscapes.
  3. Exclusive Services: Larger casino resorts provide additional services such as spas, pools, private gaming areas, and personal concierges to enhance the stay of their guests.

Dress Codes: From Casual to Couture

Dress codes in casinos can vary significantly, reflecting both the policy of the casino and its culture.
  1. Varied Codes by Time of Day: Some casinos have different dress codes for daytime and evening. While daytime attire may be more casual, evening hours might require more formal wear, especially in exclusive areas.
  2. High Roller Rooms and VIP Areas: In high stakes areas, the dress code is usually more formal. Entry into VIP lounges often requires business formal attire, enhancing the atmosphere of exclusivity.
  3. Theme Nights and Events: Casinos often host theme nights or special events where specific attire might be encouraged or required. These events can range from retro nights requiring vintage fashion to black-tie affairs.

Maximizing the Experience

To make the most of a casino visit, guests should consider the following:
  • Check Ahead: It’s a good idea to check the specific requirements or offers of a casino before visiting. Understanding the dress code, room offers, and dining options can significantly enhance the experience.
  • Loyalty Programs: Many casinos offer loyalty rewards that include dining credits, room upgrades, and other perks. Signing up for these programs can offer substantial savings and exclusive benefits.
  • Special Promotions: Keep an eye on special promotions and packages that include dining, entertainment, and lodging. These can provide considerable savings and make a casino trip more enjoyable.
Casinos are designed to be all-encompassing entertainment complexes that cater to a wide array of tastes and preferences. Whether you’re drawn by the promise of a culinary feast at the buffet, the luxury of a deluxe room, or the elegance of a formal dress code, the world of casino hospitality offers something for everyone.

2024.04.20 03:35 babyxxpigeon17 A Niagara vacation

2024.04.19 17:01 Hestmestarn 8 months ago I asked for some advice about a road trip going through AZ, here is how it went!

Hi everyone!
8 months ago I asked for some advice about a road trip going through AZ and since we got so much great feedback I thought you might wanna know how the trip ultimately went.
We did a few changes to the trip based on your suggestions
After driving here i have some questions:
WHY ARE YOUR HEADLIGHT SO BRIGHT?
Driving at night suuucks here, you get blinded all the time by oncoming traffic! At first I thought some of them just forgot their high beams on so I flashed them the first few times and a few did forget to be fair and turned theirs off, but I was not prepared when one of them turned on their actual high beams… I'm pretty sure I got an X-ray with that lmao.
WHY ARE THERE POTHOLES IN A 75MPH ROAD?
Looking at you i10…
A lot of very shitty roads had very high speed limits.
Speaking of speed, Is following the speed limit not a thing here?
Setting the cruise control to the speed limit seams to be a surefire way to get 15 trucks tailgating you haha
Some stats for the trip:
All in all we drove 3325 miles which took 71:05 h:m in 17 days averaging ~196 miles and 4h per day in driving.
We also hiked/walked 162km (100miles) over the course of the whole trip.
Here is the rough path that we drove
I'll say right away, the way we vacation isn’t something i would recommend for most people, we are basically always doing something from sunrise to sunset (and sometimes more than that) and we don't really prioritize proper meals or relaxing at all lol. There were multiple lunches/dinners that were either trail mix, bars or sandwiches from Walmart (shutout to Marketside Italian Hero Sub Sandwich, you da real mvp!) since we were either out hiking, didn't have time or were in places with no/no good restaurants.
But if you are like us and suffer from severe FOMO, and don't care for pesky things like food and rest for your vacations, we’ll plan a trip for you ;)
With that said, here is how the trip went:
Vegas: 4/5
Got a few comments about spending less time in Vegas but for me it was perfect! I also didn't want to drive totally jet lagged the first thing i did so having a few days here before driving was nice!
Visited Meow wolf/Omega Mart which was a pretty cool place with tons to see and do, but I wish that the store played a bigger role in the experience, and would still recommend it! (Also, we were super jet lagged here so probably not the best time to do it)
We saw the show “Absinthe” which was seriously awesome! Costs a bit but totally worth it!
Other than that we mostly walked though all the casinos on the strip, gambled a bit (somehow only lost 5$ in total) and admired the absurdness that is vegas! The food here was also great! Especially “The Taco Stand”, one of the best tacos i've ever eaten!
Death Valley 4/5
The comments on death valley in the previous post were mostly in favor of skipping this which I'm glad we didn't listen to lol. Watching over the valley at Dantes View with the snow capped mountains on the other side was amazing. Badwater basin, currently being a lake, was super cool to experience, walking out barefoot in the warm salty water was a really memorable experience! (Cleaning of all the salt later was a pain in the ass haha)
I also thought that the desolation of the area was really cool, it weirdly reminded me a lot of the lava fields in Iceland.
Sunset at mesquite flat sand dunes was beautiful as well.
We also saw some cool wildlife including one Coyote and two Desert Kit Foxes!
The only negative for DV is that it's so vast that you spend most of the time driving around and doing quick walks which isn’t really our thing. would’ve liked to do some longer hikes.
Zion 5/5:
Amazing place! We didn’t get a permit for Angels landing so we hiked the West Rim Trail up to the plateau and back instead. Really great hike with a lot of variety! It was probably the hardest of the trip with 20km there and back and 1000m elevation gain (12.5 miles, 3300ft). Hiked the Emerald pools trail, and canyon overlook as well for some beautiful sunsets.
Also, staying at Zion lodge was worth every cent! Being able to walk around and see the stars in the parks when all the other tourists went home was amazing!
On the way to Bryce we squeezed in the hike to the Observation point that has the best view of zion!
Bryce: 5/5
Probably our favorite place of the trip along with Grand Canyon and Saguaro np! Overlooking the bright orange hoodoos among white snow felt truly special! We hiked below the rim the first day and saw the sunrise the other day which again was spectacular!
Antelope Canyon: 4/5
Very very cool place but man, is it crowded... We did the lower part of the canyon but there were still so many people and you felt rushed to keep moving a lot of the time, what i wouldn't give to have that place to myself and take the time to admire it all! good thing you spend most of your time looking up and not at the backs of all the tourists lol.
Horseshoe bend: 3/5
Not much to see tbh, good thing it's next to the road.
Marble canyon 3/5
Saw a bunch of Condors which were cool, other than that not much to see.
Grand Canyon: 5/5
The first day had some really dull weather which caused the canyon to look kinda… dull. Hiked the rim for a few miles before going to the hotel.
However that night a snowstorm passed through the area and dropped 15-20cm (6-8 in) of snow on the south rim. When the storm finally passed and the weather cleared up around 10am we could finally descend the rim at the South Kaibab Trail. Walking down the rim amongst snow covered trees and rocks while overlooking the canyon's red cliffs in beautiful sunny weather was a truly magical experience that I'll never forget! I'm thankful that we bought microspikes for the hike as it was very Icy/slippery/muddy and we saw a lot of people without them really struggling. We hiked to Skeleton point, had lunch and then hiked back the same way since the Tonto and Bright Angel Trails were closed.
Sedona 4/5
A LOT of you kept saying that we had visited Sedona which we did! We had 3 nights (two full days) which was nice since it meant that we could take it somewhat easy and rest up. While it was a great place to visit, we felt that the other places we visited in AZ were cooler and in hindsight we probably would’ve spent another day in Tucson/Saguaro or even spent a day skiing in Arizona snowbow since it got a ton of snow with the storm!
We mostly did some hikes while we were there:
(Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte Loop Trail, Brins Mesa Trail/Soldiers pass loop, Airport loop (This was our favorite!))
While the hikes were nice, I gotta say that Sedona seemed a lot more fun on a mountain bike or terrain vehicle and I wish that we did one day on bikes!
Other than that, we strolled around Sedona and ate some great (real!) food!
Saguaro national park (West) 5/5
We didn’t really have any expectations here, we figured “Yeah, it's some cacti, probably not worth spending more than half a day here”. We were so very very wrong! Honestly such an amazing place, especially the sunset here was amazing!
We hiked the Hugh Norris trail along the ridge for a few hours and headed back the same way and it was one of the best hikes on the trip hands down! The temperature was perfect, the sun was out and there was very little wind! There were also tons of vultures there as well, we even saw two of them mating! I wish that we had more time to explore here!
White Sands NP 4/5
Only had a few hours here so didn’t have time for a longer hike, we mostly walked around in the dunes and saw the very beautiful sunset here. We stayed in Cloudcroft afterwards to get closer to Carlsbad the next day.
Carlsbad caverns 5/5
Turns out, we are idiots. We had booked almost everything in advance for this trip but we had somehow missed that even the self guided tours required a booking… They were of course all sold out. We drove from Cloudcroft super early and actually managed to get one of the last entrance tickets that the sold on site. The cave itself was spectacular and the hike down was really cool. The only complaint here is that they allow flash photography, nothing like getting blinded every few seconds by some tourist trying to take photos.
We had some hopes that we would have time to at least check out Guadalupe NP but since we got a late entrance we didn't have time afterwards. Stayed in Pecos afterwards to get closer to San Antonio. Nothing to see or do there except eating tacos.
Regarding driving through texas…
Everyone was warning us that this would be insanely boring etc but we actually liked it! The desert part was interesting with the oil fields (new for us) and after that things got really green and there were flowers everywhere! Reminded me of a lot of spring in southern Sweden! (Well Houston sucked big time but oh well)
San Antonio 3/5
I guess the eclipse is to blame but there were waaaaay too many people downtown.
Eclipse at LBJ State park 5/5
Unreal experience! Shame that it was so cloudy. During totality we only had maybe 10 seconds where the sun/moon wasn’t covered in clouds.
Houston 1/5
If the highways just had one more lane then traffic would be fixed forever! /s
Space Center Houston 3/5
Some really cool things but i wish it was more like a museum, it felt more like an exhibition that was catered to school kids (which there were like 10 000 of)
New Orleans 5/5
Really loved it here, weather was amazing (Except for the major storm that caused closed down a bunch of things, for us we had to cancel our visit to the Whitney Plantation.) The WW2 museum was probably the best museum I've ever visited! if you want to see it all you probably need more than one day. The French Quarter Festival was really nice and it was great just strolling around with no car and eating and drinking at all the food trucks and restaurants. Also, Barracuda Taco Stand had the BEST fish taco I've ever had!
Only complaint is that absolutely no one stops at crosswalks unless they have a red light. Even if you are already in the street the cars will not slow down at all.
All in all we are extremely happy with our trip and are really thankful for all your input in the previous post! We felt that we really saw as much as we could in the south west in the time that we had without it being just stop and go!
