Duolingo Stock fell by $65 in the last 5 days. That should tell you the entire story.

For context, Duolingo is a language-learning app. Now GPT-4o can easily translate terms in other languages by just pointing it to the ChatGPT's Camera.
This is massive if you want to travel globally as a nomad. You don't have to know a language now. You can just translate on the fly in any random country.
The accuracy won't be 100% but it would be close enough. And the AI keeps improving.

2. Solving School Problems For Students

I wish I had this in school. Learning could've been more efficient and faster.
Most students fear asking questions because they feel it might be dumb. Now you can ask ChatGPT any dumb question.
It even solves math problems for the Salman Khan's (founder of Khan Academy, not the actor) Kid.

3. Bed Time Stories For Kids

Since ChatGPT can talk now with a humourous and sultry voice, you can use it to tell stories to kids. It can be used in the voice of their parents or grandparents.
You can even use a Soft Toy that does the talking to the kid. Earlier, there used to be toys that did that but it only spoke the same sentence. Now it can do back and forth.
You can make special toys that teach kids letters and alphabets. Target it to 2-3 year olds.

4. Be My Eyes For The Blind

Best damn use-case for the blind. Now using a Phone is a bit too much for this but when smart glasses come, every blind person will have a walking companion.
The future is great for the blind.

5. Be My Friend

Too many people are lonely nowadays thanks to technology. It can be a boon for some but a con for others.
You can build a specialized app that gets you an AI Friend since you can talk to it now and it can talk back, it will be great.
I am 100% sure Therapy AI will be much better now with Audio/Video integration. In future, we will have fully featured Robots like Tesla's Optimus and Figure that will have such functionalities built-in.
I bet this comes in <2 years judging by the pace at which AI and Robotics are accelerating.

6. Comic Books

Now that text can be easily created with ChatGPT, why not create Comic Books easily.
Its a huge creative exercise for comic creators. Webtoons have exploded in popularity and many KDramas are made out of them like Death's Game and Marry My Husband.
This will increase the creativity exponentially.

7. Font Creations

Fonts are expensive. Like really expensive.
Funnily enough ChatGPT can create fonts easily now. Take the most popular fonts, tweak them a bit, and create entire new sets of fonts.
Look at the creations explode on Creative Market. Font directories like Typewolf can now create their own fonts easily as they already have distribution.

This was my response to the charge:
I am writing in response to the receipt of a “TFL Verification Letter” dated‬ ‭ 18.03.24 which brings the accusation of Fare Evasion committed on 16.03.24 against me. In this letter, I‬ ‭ wish to outline my acceptance of the named offence, as well as provide reasons why TFL should decide‬ ‭ against prosecution.‬ ‭ I would first like to offer a full apology to the Transport Support & Enforcement officers whom I‬ ‭ encountered in the early morning hours of 16.03.24. Before I get to the meat of it, I want to make it known that this is my own opinion and criticism. I am an early backer from when the game was just switching over from Kickstarter. Ever since then, I've had high hopes and aspirations for the game. In the beginning, the space sim market was completely dead and many were saying PC gaming was an afterthought. I believe this game is changing both of those actively and so I still retain high hopes - though sometimes it feels like its against my better judgement due to actions (and inactions) CIG has taken. CIG's integrity as a company has been eroding gradually over the years in my eyes due to deliberate choices the company has made. I'd like to give some examples.
First, CIG started with stretch goals for backers, which we blew through with record levels of funding. Unfortunately, many of those stretch goals have yet to be fulfilled. On the whole, that's understandable as some are fairly complex to do, but there are others which seem like they'd be relatively easy and routine that haven't been done, such as the crossbow FPS weapon. CIG has plenty of experience making and implementing FPS weapons by this point and they comparatively take little development time to complete. Why hasn't it been done? When's the last time we even saw a new FPS weapon release aside from different colorations of existing ones? This and other examples like this makes us older backers feel forgotten about and, at worst, used and stepped on toward larger audiences who didn't take as large a risk as we did by putting faith in you so early.
The second point I'd like to draw attention to is the incident in which CIG decided to charge money for virtual tickets to a Citizen Con stream. We, as backers, had entrusted our money and hopes to CIG only for the company to make an attempt to charge admission for us to see what was supposed to be our yearly progress report and showcase for a game that hadn't been released yet. Surely a reasonable person could understand why this was insulting to fans of the game. It was said that this decision was made to foster a larger and more spectacular Citizen Con for the fans, but over the years other actions that seem driven by marketing and financial goals have cast doubt on this explanation for me.
A more gameplay related point is that of the F8C and F7A Mk. II ships. Initially, the F7A Mk. II was not supposed to be available to players. The F8C was only supposed to be obtainable upon completing SQ42. Now both are released into the wild and in the hands of players. What happened to the conviction to make these ships special? A, perhaps, cynical application of Occam's Razor leads me to believe it was a decision made to drive sales and finances. At best, it was an easement due to the long time development was taking. Even if the later were true, the suspicion of the former will always lurk in my mind and that of others, I'm sure; further eroding trust in CIG's decision making.
My final example, and perhaps the more recently relevant one, is that of the gradual degradation of "Death of a Spaceman" (DoaS). The first idea and design lettedocument around the concept was incredible, but so much of it has been compromised. To start, the cloning system was implemented. To be clear, the cloning aspect was always a part of DoaS, but it being implemented without medical gameplay intervention was strange. While I can understand that it may have been a necessity for gameplay realities, it was still disappointing, and now it appears to be a permanent solution - at least from a backer's perspective. Now recently we've been told that all current ship medical beds will be able to clone players back into existence. This is despite some of those medical beds not being able to treat critical injuries. How can a piece of equipment that can clone an entire human being not treat serious injuries? Where is the consistency? I think the larger point, however, is a feeling of betrayal imparted unto some of the backers who are enthusiasts of, arguably, one of the most ignored professions in the game; the medics. I, myself, am not one of these people, but I feel for them as what little profession gameplay they had has now been gutted. Entire organizations had the rug pulled out from them in the name of convenience, sadly. It begs the question "why?" and the answer that looms as the most likely isn't a pleasant one - to push and sell a new medical vehicle. I don't want to look at it so cynically, but the timing and the sudden nature of the change from out of nowhere makes the consideration of such a greed induced motive hard to shake. Especially in a world and hobby that has been riddled with greedy companies making decisions for the bottom line over the quality of gameplay recently.
So, for discussion, I'd like to hear from everyone else. Are there other examples that have deteriorated your trust in CIG over the years? Please sound off and let your voice be heard. I don't think it's too late for the company to either correct the misperception or avoid further erosion with choices in the future. Also, from one long-term backer to another, I'd like to hear what Jared ( u/therealdiscolando ) has to say on this, given his unique perspective and also the fact that he is ultimately one of us. Additionally, I'd like to invite any input Tyler ( u/CaptainZyloh ) might have as our dedicated and ever-enthusiastic Community Manager that very obviously does his damnedest for said community. Lastly, I invite any of the developers to comment because I want this project to succeed. I want CR to succeed. This black cloud that hovers over this project for some of us could be dispelled with some communication around it and I am coming from a place of concern, not anger, and promise to engage in the topic in good faith. Lastly, and just for the record, I have no intent of turning my back on the project - rather I want it to succeed in such an explosive way that anyone who disparaged it is riddled with regret for missing the experience of staying astride of its development. I firmly believe this game and company has the potential to change the face of gaming forever.

I started to interview for new jobs and something I’ve noticed is that the places that say they’re “competitive with pay” were the ones that severely underpay.
I had 3 offers, one industry, one national firm and one regional firm. I was ready to accept the regional firm offer until they sent me the offer letter where the salary was about 10k below the national firm and 12k below the industry role. The regional firm also didn’t do bonus’.
Reading the offers it really become a no brainer between industry and national firm. For as much shit as this sub gives PA at least they’ll pay you in the ball park of an industry role.

i dont care about artifacts, all i care about is the smoothest possible motion with the least amount of stuttering. i watch movies in 60fps on my home theater and i like the realistic effect, so dont ask me why. its my preference and my friends prefer it too over 24fps.
the main reason im looking for the smoothest stutter free interpolation is because everytime there is stutter, it takes away from the illusion of smooth motion. having stutter once in a while is acceptable. but almost all programs i've tested have stutters way too often on sudden panning scenes etc.
so, it can be a real-time interpolation program or a video converter. ill either watch the movie real-time interpolated to 60, if the program is good enough, or i dont mind converting the movie to watch it after.
let me tell you what i've discovered from my experience:

1. the only real-time program/filter that gives the smoothest, stutter free, motion interpolation, i've ever seen on windows, is dmitri render. its a filter you can use in mpc player. the only drawback is more artifacts than svp etc. but i dont care about the artifacts, smooth motion is important to me. but the main reason i dont use dmitri is because of their retarded payment system, which registers your HWID, and almost everytime you plug in or plug out a device from your pc, dmitri render registration thinks its a different pc and i need to keep contacting the developer to activate it for me. sometimes he does not activate it for me because he thinks im lying and changed my pc. the retarded devs who use HWID registration method should simply change it to a login system, such that you can login to only one pc at a time, and use the app on one pc at a time. in the end using dmitri was too much hassle and i gave up on it.
   
2. the only device where i've seen the least amount of stuttering and ultra smooth motion, is on sony bravia tvs. other tvs suck at it. (even if you do research almost everyone agrees that bravia tvs have the smoothest motion). if all other suggestions fail, then my best bet is to buy a bravia tv to consume content or play games.
   
3. svp (smooth video project) is smooth, but it is not as smooth or stutter free as dmitri render. dmitri render maintains consistent smooth motion.
   
4. splash pro player is by far the best overall player in terms of features, audio bitstreaming, snapiness, and user friendliness. but the biggest drawback it has with it's frame interpolation engine is, it's probably the worst of them all. it has the most amount of stutters.
   
5. ffmpeg frame interpolation conversion is smooth but it still has stutters.
   
6. avisynth scripts to convert are also not stutter free.
   
7. after effects frame interpolation is also not great. not stutter free.
   
8. dont recommend me flowframes or dain. while both of these have been recommended recently by many, rest assured that they also have not solved the stuttering issue to maintain ultra smooth motion like bravia tvs or dmitri render. what the heck is the use of using all the next level AI to interpolate while not fixing basic shit like smooth stutter free motion.
   

finally i will tell you the only program for me that checks most boxes for motion interpolation is Topaz AI. it has proper video upscaler to enhance details, and it also has stutter free smooth motion that almost matches sony bravia tvs. it's like heavenly smooth when you render with "chronos fast". they also have an amazing interface and the ability to copy audio track over, rather than having to set format and bitrate for audio.
the only reason i asked this question "what program gives the smoothest motion interpolation?" is because i want to know if there is a better alternative, as some people might discover some rare gem or "unheard of" program, that can probably interpolate perfectly.

   I work very slow. I don’t have problems working faster for a while, but if is too much starts to annoy me. We works humankind needs recurses to act and solve our existencial and material problems. Good ones: Inteligent, good memory and associative thinking, very adaptable, very calm and chill, a good problem solver, no intrusive. Bad ones: Revanchist, very critic, relationship issues, arrogance, problem with rules and deadliness, burocratic issues. I hate daily life.

No they not change. The essence of people’s character never really change. People just change when they make a good self critic and its very hard sees someone who does that.

1. How do you feel and experience time? Can time be wasted? How? Yes. You can estimate how much time a task takes. You can plan how you wanna use your time. You can set deadlines for whatever you are doing. Time can be wasted on things you don't value because you can't gain back time.

Time is very important to me. I can see things very distant in my imagination but act abour this is hard. So i waste times often with relaxing times or doing activities out my plans. I dont set deadlines, i just know what i want to do and for how long to give the next step. I guess the absence of deadlines destroys my progress.

I am sitting here fuming and feeling scared, as an ex from five years ago has once again started bombing me with messages, and just now I got a message (after me ignoring the three messages he sent in the past weeks) that he is in my city and "why can't I just give him a chance and meet him for coffee?" (he lives in another country.) He knows where I live because we dated and he has been here. Now I am afraid to leave my house.
Backstory is that we dated for only 6 months long distance- as in, we only spent a total of 6 weekends together, and I ended it when he told me he slept with someone else (which may or may not be true- it's possible he said it to try to make me jealous. To me it didn't matter; I was done.) I was already about to end it at that point because I just didn't feel a strong connection with him. He, however, seems to have had a different experience and talks about the amazing connection we had.
When we broke up he kept saying I needed to give him another chance, and he screwed up, bla bla bla. I said I wasn't angry with him, and wished him the best, but that I didn't want to continue anything. I kept saying this as he continued to beg. He said he didn't think it was fair. I said I was sorry he felt that way, and sorry he was so sad, and that I held no animosity towards him, but did not want to continue on, even as a friend. I explained until I was blue in the face. He unfriended me on Facebook, which I didn't even notice, and then wrote me that he had done it in a rage, but regretted it, and could I please accept his friend request if he re-added me? I wrote back that it was probably better as is, and a clean break. I blocked him on Facebook.
Then he started messaging me on email and Instagram and even sent me a snail-mail letter. I was fed up with my "no" being disrespected at that point, and stopped indulging him with a response. This seemed to only increase his messages. I started to feel like he was a stalker. And he relentlessly messaged me, like 3-4 messages a month going on and on reminiscing about our first date, and the concert we went to, etc., saying we had such a deep connection (we really didn't! This is all in his mind!) I never answered anything. Total radio silence. But he wouldn't stop for FOUR YEARS. About a year ago, he stopped, and I thought he was finally gone.
Until two weeks ago. He wrote me a long email saying "You probably don't want to hear from me, but if you have a heart, you'll respond. I just want to be in your life, and I think we owe it to the connection we had to be friends..." bla bla bla. Same stuff, manipulating me with saying if I didn't respond I didn't have a heart. He interestingly wrote that he was now in a relationship, and SHE had encouraged him to reach out to me. I felt really angry, because I was very nice when we broke up, letting him have his process and tell me how he felt initially, but clearly and kindly saying I did not want to continue anything, including friendship, until after weeks I stopped responding. I am sure he told his new girlfriend that I never let him explain or just ghosted him, which is categorically untrue, with dozens of initial messages from me. He just cannot accept my NO and is trying to force a yes.
And now, today, he emailed me to say he is in my city and he needs to see me, and I owe him at least a coffee. This is over 5 years after our very brief relationship, and I am really concerned about the escalation to him coming here (he lives 4 hours away, across the border in another country.) Been studying IT trying to gain knowledge through the trifecta. Have taken a year to obtain all 3 and have been trying to go from Graduated to unemployed to employed this past year. It has taken a journey on my mental health deny after deny but here we are. Accepted a short term contract role in my city that has only been extended once so far. I took it to get my foot in the industry. What you heard about IT is true, it is mostly a customer service job, with a lil bit of technical stuff here and there. If you can't talk and get along with people, you won't make it. I have updated my resume with the new skills I have, and have been applying since day 1 of the contract. I have gotten to 3 or 4 final interviews and have always been just short of someone better overall. Recently I got an invitation for something I applied to many months ago and I have just accepted an offer for 100k total compensation. I still feel like I am living in a dream, going from a contractor to this feels surreal. It is very possible with a good attitude and an eagerness to help people and learn at the same time. Being memorable in interviews also help. Losing some weight also helped me feel better about myself, so that I could perform better in these interviews.
The stars have finally lined up for me and I will commit to learning on the job and off the job. Could not have done it without you guys and your help. Every interview I've had, they've mentioned the certs specifically as a talking point. They do work, they do make you noticed, but it is a whole package deal. You need more than the certs to get your foot in the door and to grow as an IT professional. Best of luck.

i dont care about artifacts, all i care about is the smoothest possible motion with the least amount of stuttering. i watch movies in 60fps on my home theater and i like the realistic effect, so dont ask me why. its my preference and my friends prefer it too over 24fps.
the main reason im looking for the smoothest stutter free interpolation is because everytime there is stutter, it takes away from the illusion of smooth motion. having stutter once in a while is acceptable. but almost all programs i've tested have stutters way too often on sudden panning scenes etc.
so, it can be a real-time interpolation program or a video converter. ill either watch the movie real-time interpolated to 60, if the program is good enough, or i dont mind converting the movie to watch it after.
let me tell you what i've discovered from my experience:

1. the only real-time program/filter that gives the smoothest, stutter free, motion interpolation, i've ever seen on windows, is dmitri render. its a filter you can use in mpc player. the only drawback is more artifacts than svp etc. but i dont care about the artifacts, smooth motion is important to me. but the main reason i dont use dmitri is because of their retarded payment system, which registers your HWID, and almost everytime you plug in or plug out a device from your pc, dmitri render registration thinks its a different pc and i need to keep contacting the developer to activate it for me. sometimes he does not activate it for me because he thinks im lying and changed my pc. the retarded devs who use HWID registration method should simply change it to a login system, such that you can login to only one pc at a time, and use the app on one pc at a time. in the end using dmitri was too much hassle and i gave up on it.
   
2. the only device where i've seen the least amount of stuttering and ultra smooth motion, is on sony bravia tvs. other tvs suck at it. (even if you do research almost everyone agrees that bravia tvs have the smoothest motion). if all other suggestions fail, then my best bet is to buy a bravia tv to consume content or play games.
   
3. svp (smooth video project) is smooth, but it is not as smooth or stutter free as dmitri render. dmitri render maintains consistent smooth motion.
   
4. splash pro player is by far the best overall player in terms of features, audio bitstreaming, snapiness, and user friendliness. but the biggest drawback it has with it's frame interpolation engine is, it's probably the worst of them all. it has the most amount of stutters.
   
5. ffmpeg frame interpolation conversion is smooth but it still has stutters.
   
6. avisynth scripts to convert are also not stutter free.
   
7. after effects frame interpolation is also not great. not stutter free.
   
8. dont recommend me flowframes or dain. while both of these have been recommended recently by many, rest assured that they also have not solved the stuttering issue to maintain ultra smooth motion like bravia tvs or dmitri render. what the heck is the use of using all the next level AI to interpolate while not fixing basic shit like smooth stutter free motion.
   

finally i will tell you the only program for me that checks most boxes for motion interpolation is Topaz AI. it has proper video upscaler to enhance details, and it also has stutter free smooth motion that almost matches sony bravia tvs. it's like heavenly smooth when you render with "chronos fast". they also have an amazing interface and the ability to copy audio track over, rather than having to set format and bitrate for audio.
the only reason i asked this question "what program gives the smoothest motion interpolation?" is because i want to know if there is a better alternative, as some people might discover some rare gem or "unheard of" program, that can probably interpolate perfectly.

So I went into a new relationship recently with a guy that treats me great. I mean he is a really really nice guy. He is not really experienced in relationships (not that I an experienced dater, but I've had a more long term relationship before, whereas he has had only a few smaller ones for just 3-4 months), but he listens to me and learns fast. However, there is this one issue I have that I feel bad about bringing it up, because it's not an issue for a lot of people.
He tends to like the sweet/cheesy talks a lot, but they sometimes really make me turned off. I'm talking like saying "sowwy", "pwease" and a lot of "UwU" stuff. The "UwU" part I accepted and everything, he just likes texting it and I accepted that. As the attendance of the youth in church has declined, but on the other hand people practicing approaches are increasing in numbers. The following is revealed through one of the youths that more the deepening are the studies of the bible, more a person becomes a hypocrite of the Christian leadership and unintentionally accepts and performs the lifestyle of the clergy right or wrong at times unknowingly. In such case, the practices are affected and become different from those which are to be precise.
