i will be the first to admit that i can be a bit intense about my favorite artists. i totally understand being passionate about an artist and in turn wishing those around you were passionate about them as well. but holy shit.
obviously they all live vicariously through taylor, which imo is what she’s been banking on from the beginning, but it’s like they’ve all collectively absorbed her obvious insecurity along with it. if you say “yeah i didn’t really like (insert anything she’s ever been remotely involved in)” their responses read like a taylor burner account.
“you’re just not intellectual or empathetic enough to GET what she went through” “it’s a grower!! you have to listen to it 13 times and spin around in a circle every 4th song!! have you listened to it on the limited edition seafoam green from the vault vinyl only at aldi’s where joe alwyn works now????”
at first she was your teenage best friend from the south (❌) that gets bullied just like you!! she just so HAPPENED to make it big!! you could be just like her (but only if your parents are millionaires and buy warehouses of your albums to boost sales, no biggie!)
i genuinely feel bad that she never got the opportunity to discover who she is when not tethered to fame and more often than not Some Guy but at what point does the line between “just like me” and “how do you do, fellow kids?” blur? are they ever going to tire of this woe is me, anyone who disagrees with me is a misogynist (but attack other women all you want! you can start with @antoniagentry @emmalaird!) image?? have you considered that maybe taste is subjective?
i’ve never seen anything like it. then you have jackoff mcanteater saying questioning taylor’s skills is like questioning one’s faith in god. you’re telling me that is not cultish rhetoric??? this is what really set my alarm bells off. i’m 17 years younger than taylor and even i feel like i’ve somewhat outgrown her. it’s almost like she’s an excuse for them not to grow up. if they’re not ‘just like taylor’ than being 35 and still unable to maintain mature relationships isn’t so cute and quirky. she is an extension of them.
i’m sure a lot of this has been said before but i just felt like ranting. i get subpoenaed on the other subs so i appreciate you guys for providing a place to speak honestly about taylor. i’m just now reading up on her and the big oaf but i will get back to you on that

I'm about to reach for my first supplier for my first Shopify store using Dawn theme. I'm deciding between several themes before reaching to my first supplier and I recently bought stock photos from Adobe Stock for the product images and content for the home page.
My question is, how READY should my mock store be before reaching to my first supplier?
I've read elsewhere that it doesn't have to be 100% finished. Mine has almost everything a home page needs from header to footer. It has:
* Announcement bar with 3 announcement sliding every 8 seconds and social media icons on its left * A header with the logo on the left and the Drop down mega menu in the middle, social media * Slideshow with the first slide expressing what my store is about, the second is a Sale promotional product (25%off). The third slide is a photo of many the products together. (adobe stock photos, no watermark, licensed), it also has a Search bar and a Cart icon. * A collection list of my product by category * A Featured product ("meet our best seller") * A Rich Text section with a header and body text describing the quality of the products in one sentence * A collage of products with only 3 products called "The Starter Set" * Followed by a featured collection "Check out our Bestsellers" in a carousel with 5 products with ADD TO CART buttons * Another Rich text section to make a divider with header and body text: ABOUT US * Another featured collection called "The Cardio Collection" * A Blog section * And the last section which is the footer with social media icons, all the policies, phone number, email, contact us, a brief about us, a Sign-up box for news and exclusive offers, a display with all the payment options
* It also has some subscription and email automations ready for launch

I’m not sure if this has been spoken about already, but it’s doing my head in and I need to do something about it. There are scammers all over Vinted, we all know that, but I want to educate people on what the scammer’s accounts look like and how they actually achieve the scam.
Firstly, what do the accounts look like, these are the 5 things I use and you can use to tell if the account is dodgy:
Username: Usually a name with random numbers and letters intertwined, such as j0hnathan43z0 (not a real user name)
Price: Tends to include pennies such as £48.50 or £18.75, not very common for a legit seller to use pennies, so when they do, pls check their account.
Reviews/Followers: Almost always they will have 0 followers and 0 reviews.
Photos: Poor quality photos that are clearly cropped, and sometimes have a distorted/barcode-like pattern along one of the edges of the image
Wardrobe: Usually consists of completely random items, with very good prices. Check the background in the image of each item, are they similar? Or do they look like they are taken in what’s clearly a different household for instance.
How does the scam actually work you may be wondering… well:
What they do, is they list an item, using images stolen from an old sales listing from Vinted, eBay etc. The item will be very well priced. (Most of these scam listings are posted in the evening, at around 9pm onwards, however you may notice them popping up all day)
A person will be attracted by this price, and no doubt they will buy the item.
At checkout, you will notice the only courier option is Royal Mail. Why is this? Royal Mail is the only courier on Vinted that isn’t a tracked service, it’s only 2nd class, and because of this, you have to send a proof of postage receipt to the buyer as an image, hence the “Here’s the postage receipt”… message that shows when the seller has sent you said receipt.
The scamming seller will activate this message, in doing so, the Vinted software will update the buyer telling them that their item has been sent. However the buyer won’t upload an image of the postage receipt. (Some time after this, usually an hour or so, the seller will delete their account, I’m not sure how this bit helps the scammer in any way, but they often do this).
If a parcel goes missing on Vinted, Vinted will refund both the buyer AND the seller regardless. Services like InPost and Evri can be tracked and used to prove if the parcel has been delivered or not. Royal Mail 2nd class on the other hand cannot be tracked. So Vinted assume the parcel is lost and eventually refund both parties.
What Vinted fail to do however, is check the transaction for a proof of postage receipt. Checking if the seller actually sent the item off and can prove it, would allow the seller to be rightly refunded or not (the buyer will be refunded regardless). This is bad on Vinted part obviously, because Vinted are paying out scammers for absolutely nothing.
I can’t believe they are getting away with it and it has to stop, because people are paying good money for items that never arrive, and are then out of pocket for 3ish weeks before they are refunded. I hope this post helps the community and raises awareness.

2024.05.16 23:42 mskhofhinn new car paperwork question
Hoping somebody knows the answer to this. We purchased a new car from a dealer last week. When we went in to sign the paperwork, the manager gave us something to sign - it was some sort of official state paperwork, looked like the title when I google image search that - but I pointed out that we hadn't finalized loan info yet so he put that paperwork away while we discussed rates and I don't remember him having us sign it later in the process. Any idea what it was and if our signature were/are required for the sale to be official? I'm guessing not since we are in possession of the car but I'm curious since it was the very first thing he asked us to sign so I would assume it was important/necessary.

I launched a product at the beginning of the year and it’s not doing very well. I sell about $300/week, but after fees and marketing costs I’m break even or negative on every sale. I’ve sold just over 100 units so far, but again, I’m not making any money.
I don’t believe it’s seasonality, given that I’m in prime season for this product niche. I think it’s just too competitive of a niche and I don’t have the bankroll for PPC.
What options do I have? I have roughly 240 units left in inventory and I don’t want to keep paying amazon every two weeks from fees and PPC costs.
I’ve heard of liquidation (they pay me?), donations, and disposal. What are the costs for each and what is generally recommended to do when a product fails and I don’t want to keep funding the fees.

i am here to correct everything OnThatNote shared yesterday. I've been speaking with multiple different sources way closer to Ye than his source.
- To start off, OTN's source was Chad Spencer from the yews team. Milo was responsible for putting together the yews team and thus everything Spencer shared to OTN basically came from Milo wanting to improve his image. (notice how everything said about the app makes it out like its all Ye's fault and Milo never did anything wrong). Also Chad along with Dan Schmidt and the entire yews team was fired, so Chad wouldn't have up to date information anyway, which is how we know he got told everything by Milo.
- Milo also has a huge problem with kanyesposts, hence why Chad re-told OTN about Kanye calling her a r*tard which actually never happened. Here's what actually went down:
- Ye added Kanyesposts to a chat with dov charney and manufacturing bc he was confused why the numbers were not adding up re: merch sales/instagram ad revenue. Since none of his employees in the chat were replying to him, he asked Kanyesposts to give him the analytic report. Since she wasn’t working at the company she was confused why Ye was granting her access to this information or assumed she would have it, so she called Milo and he wrote her a reply to say to Ye saying she’d contact Dov for the info. Ye replied and said “don’t give me a r*tarded worthless answer just give me the numbers, I need every piece of info.” Then Kanyesposts made a joke to Milo and her friends about how it would be funny to have a tshirt that said Kanye west called me a r*tard, and Milo ran with that and told Julz Ye called her a r*tard. The whole situation was strange bc she wasn’t an employee and wasn’t sure why Ye didn’t have access to his own financial reports.
- Regarding Dov: there’s rumors now that Dov was hiding information from Ye and the company is doing an audit to see where the missing millions went The way the deal was structured was Ye was being paid by Dov, Yeezy.com was set up under Dov’s Shopify rather than Ye’s. Normally, Ye would be in charge and pay Dov as a vendor. Ye has always had a love/hate relationship with Dov and insiders say Dov is needed to finish the order fulfillment but an audit is being done. Clothing and apparel manufacturing is halted right now due to this situation.
- There is nothing big happening with shoes, this was a complete lie. Chad wouldn't know anything about apparel anyway since he was with yews AND was fired. Kanye is designing things still but nothing even close to what Chad and OTN were saying in the info dump yesterday. Nothing confirming rework of old adidas designs, no clue where that came from.
- The app situation is super messy. I think on all fronts it was a failure from every party including Milo and Yeezy but NOT the devs. Anything that is alleging blame on yeezy/Ye and not Milo is obviously propaganda from Milo to make him look good. App is just sitting now, it might get used in the future, it might not its up to Kanye. What is true is that MOST of the devs were not paid. There is not really any proof that Milo is doing EVERYTHING IN HIS POWER to get people paid. Milo generally is only looking out for himself and what will get him farthest by taking advantage of people and improve his image / public reception. Milo's end goal is probably to be rehired at YZY so he's gonna manipulate and pull strings to try achieving that.
- Former staffers are asking for their jobs back, despite reports saying they wanted to leave.

Fuji GFX 50r Kit Includes-
Camera Body- I’d say this is in what I’d call pretty dang good condition. Only issue is a small scratch on the lower left of the lcd. I included a photo in the Timestamp to highlight this. Other than that there’s some very very small nicks around the hotshoe and on the bottom of the camera from normal use. Comes with body cap. Shutter count is under 2k.
Two native Fuji batteries + charger
Two different thumbgrips
ViltroxEF-GFX adapter with autofocus capability
Fringr Nikon F Mount-GFX adapter (I’ve got some f Mount glass I’ll be putting up for sale here soon, if you’re interested let me know)

FM2N- This camera is in great condition. It was just CLA'd earlier this year by United Camera in Rock Island, Illinois. They replaced the seals, adjusted some of the slow shutter speeds, and repaired the meter, as well as general CLA work. (The meter always worked but it would only shut off by timing out) This camera is ready to rip and should be good for years to come. No major flaws, has some light (yet aesthetically pleasing imo) brassing. The only thing to really note is that it doesn't have any protection over the viewfinder. So if you're a glasses wearer you should buy one of the rubber rings or eyecups. Im pretty sure B&H have them available for like $25.
Price- $350
AI Converted Nikkor 24mm f2.8- I love this lens. Probably my favorite Nikkor ive owned. But it is old. Definitely shows some wear and tear on the body. There is some dust and one larger piece of dust in one of the rear elements that is shown in the photos. I tested it on my gfx 50R and could not find any trace of it in the images. Included two images in the link taken with it.
Price-$50 or $25 with purchase of either of the cameras above.

This includes ones that are not directly linked to transactions such as “add to cart” or “viewed at least one product page”.If it’s statistically assured to win, then it’s a good choice to put the variation into production, with one exception. This can occur, for example, if the variation holds a product recommender system that comes with its cost. And since it corresponds to the highest values this part has a huge influence when averaging samples. Due to the shape of this transaction value distribution, any measure of the average value is somewhat blurred, which makes it very difficult to have clear statistical indices. For this reason, changes in AOV need to be very drastic or measured over a huge dataset to be statistically asserted, making it difficult to use in CRO. Another important feature is hidden even further on the right of the horizontal axis. Here’s another zoom on the same graph, with the horizontal axis ranging from €1000 to €4500. Even with a most common transaction value at €50, there are still some transactions above €1000, and even some over €3000. We call these extreme values. As a result, whether these high values exist or not makes a big difference. Since these values exist but with some scarcity, they will not be evenly spread across a variation, which can artificially create difference when computing AOV. By artificially, we mean the difference comes from a small number of visitors and so doesn’t really count as “statistically significant”. Also, keep in mind that customer behavior will not be the same when buying for €50 as when making a purchase of more than €3000. There’s not much to do about this except know it exists. One good thing though is to separate B2B and B2C visitors if you can, since B2C transaction values are statistically bigger and less frequent. Setting them apart will limit these problems. What does this mean for AOV?There are three important things to keep in mind when it comes to AOV:
This is yet another reason to have a clear experimentation protocol including an explicit hypothesis. For example, if the test is about showing an alternate product page layout based on the hypothesis that visitors have trouble reading the product page, then the AOV should not be impacted. Afterwards, if the conversion rate rises, we can validate the winner if the AOV has no strong statistical downward trend. However, if the changes are in the product recommender system, which might have an impact on the AOV, then one should be more strict on measuring a statistical innocuity on the AOV before calling a winner. For example, the recommender might bias visitors toward cheaper products, boosting sales numbers but not the overall revenue. The real driving force behind CROWe’ve seen that the conversion rate is at the base of CRO practice because of its simplicity and versatility compared to all other KPIs. Nonetheless, this simplicity must not be taken for granted. Microtransactions; the hidden enemy to gamer progress and inducer to mental laziness of our community. Microtransactions have been around for a long time; however, it has never been more potent and apparent than in recent years. It has aided in the dismantling and segregation of players on the ideology of FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) and has created another sub-culture of gamers who have no real drive to be better outside of how much money they put into the game. This has degraded our culture as well as we have become “fat” off transactional gaming but at the same time we have been “starved” of purposeful gaming where our achievements were our sustenance. I am not saying that microtransactions are bad, but when they are exploitative and predatorial like they have been and don’t give gamers room to grow, we become lethargic and unwilling to improve ourselves as gamers. Oversaturated microtransactional games are one of the many reasons why we have become complacent and unwilling to fight against the exploitative tactics used by big brand game companies such EA, Ubisoft, ActivisionBlizzard, NaughtyDog and so many other western business model companies. Western style games were not like this in the past, they had much more depth and actual effort put into them with the gamer in mind. This has not been the case for over a decade and our connection to western developers has been whittled down to just being transactional. That is one of the reasons why you see so many remasters and remakes in today’s gamer community. They have lost their willingness to improve as developers of games and simply accept corporate/share holder rules.
Game journalists also do not have any real integrity or purpose outside of being funded for their involvement in promoting IPG (Identity Political Games) in a positive light to the public whether it’s positively received or not. They are not interested in what we have to say, they all support the same agenda and that is why they are a dying breed. Within the next couple of years, they will be out of the job and more than likely they will not be able to stay in the industry giving how they have responded to past articles that have clearly been scripted on the premise of diversity and racism. Not only that, but most of them are also extremely hostile to the community as they stereotype and defame the individuals that are a part of the community they are supposed to serve. We have been mentally liberated from their lies and coercive tactics as we tend to laugh at their obvious attempt at virtue signaling while hiding their misdoings so that they can play the victim.
My gamer brothers & sisters, I would not suggest the following action that we must take now without good cause. I have weighed our options and the best option for us now is this…...CULTURAL SECESSION. Naturally this is a form of segregation where they would more than likely claim they are being segregated by the dominant culture of the gaming community but that is incorrect. For years now we have been the ones who are often marginalized and ostracized for the smaller portion of our community. And when we aren’t, we’re exploited for more funds so that these companies can stay in business only to subject us to low quality products that coincide with the “WOKE Agenda” that are often huge expenses to these big brands i.e. AAA/AAAA games that will eventually flop for its obvious forced diversity and bug infested product which will undoubtedly piss off the consumer to the point of wanting a refund. Losing copious amounts of capital and stock in the process, not to mention their reputation is permanently marred.
We must separate on every cultural level in terms of entertainment and ideology. We must reject everything from the west that promotes toxic western beliefs, practices, and exclusion from other cultures (i.e. Southeastern Countries such as Japan and Korea). Japan & Korea have been the targets of unjust discrimination from Western Developers, Western Journalists, Western Localizers (The Wokelizers) and Western Society Prejudice regarding their sense of aesthetics as Westerners hate the aesthetic sense of these countries. The reason why they resort to such base tactics isn’t just because it weaponizes the ideal female form but it’s also because they have deep-seated insecurities about their own looks so when they see attractive female characters, they use terms such as “unrealistic” or “hypersexualized” to establish the moral high ground. But the truth is, they want to feel superior to that which is ideal, so they insult and dehumanize this figure that portrays natural female beauty because they see it as an insult to their own social superiority in what they believe is a hierarchy of them being at the top of all other women. Because of this and so many contributing factors, their movies flop harder than the Fat Chocobo landing on a group of enemies and their games seismically fail just as much if not more. We must sever our connection to Western Developers, Publishers, and ALL Western-Centric Entertainment for they seek to mentally enslave us to their Xenophobic ideology.

These traits are so nefarious and unconscionable that I have a hard time believing that anyone could harbor them. However, given the social, political, and economic climate that we are in, those in power who use their influence on controlling society most definitely possess these insidious traits. Everything that they do is all about control and since video games are the biggest market in the world, they want control over it and the communities built around it to accrue more wealth and to use that wealth to subjugate other cultures. Mainstream media is a tool as well as mainstream organizations and sites to help accomplish this goal.
The government recently announced its intentions towards what they believe is “GamerGate 2.0” and now even the ADL has made an official appearance, referring to gamers as “extremist’s”. We know EXACTLY what they are doing, and they aren’t even trying to hide it anymore because they don’t think we are aware of their motives. This is just a pretext for them to exert even more control and we know why, it’s because they want the influence we as a community have to must serve them. So here is what we do my fellow gamers-

- Perpetual Victimhood: By weaponizing the fact that they are marginalized and of a small portion of western society, they can push their agenda to absurd standards that ultimately ostracize the main demographic. And when companies don’t capitulate, they are labeled as anti-progressive/misogynist’s or cohorts of White Supremacy. They use this to cancel their targets and silence them through societal defamation to keep the public on their side. They also use this mindset to justify their own lack of self-agency as they tend to throw companies who do adhere to their demands but miserably fail to turn a profit under the bus so that they can maintain face in front of the public while denying their actual involvement. They will never accept “Sense of Agency” when it’s negative but will gladly accept it when a positive outcome shines on them as if they are entitled to it.
- Societal Terrorism: This is another form of ideology weaponization that they use in order to make companies “toe-the-line” with their agenda. By weaponizing cancel culture, they exert dominance over these companies but in exchange they also reimburse those companies with DEI & ESG funds that raise their credit score as well as having social status with the marginalized demographic. However; cancel culture has not succeeded in years and developers and publishers probably only want the money and the DEI ESG rating. But they have to maintain the image of having social economic power so that they can continue to strong-arm other developers into compliance and promoting financial benefits of DEI & ESG. In other words, if you are not for sale, they discredit and stigmatize you in the industry.

- “Its not us, its you who’s wrong” Mentality: This mentality is especially annoying as they tend to use it to hide their incompetence. They often look down upon gamers who are not in the industry to hide their obvious lack of knowledge on game development thinking that their job title grants them special status that they believe gives them the right to be condescending. But the truth they never wanted revealed has already strangled their careers of all credibility. They were never GAMERS, they were INVADERS. Community Colonists that seek to indoctrinate next generational gamers into their hive-mind and brand previous generations of gamers as villains.

- Double-standard Enforcement: By labeling something as “unrealistic” or “hypersexualized”, they can claim this is morally wrong if it promotes traditional dynamics between men and women. Heterosexual relationships are condemned while at the same time Same-sex relationships are praised. Additionally, heterosexual relationships with main white male characters turn antagonistic and spotlight stealing. This is deliberate as to promote the “Girl Boss” ideology to indoctrinate women into the Feminazi state of mind. While at the same time, should a male character also adopt the “I don’t need male/female” ideology its seen as Toxic Masculinity which isn’t even a real thing. The idea of a strong male character is taboo while enforcing strong female characters is the ideal.

- Dehumanization/Demonization: This is something that most military branches use in order to remove conscious inhibitions such as mass slaughter is wrong or categorization. By enforcing ideologies to denounce humanity in certain targets, it deactivates your conscience by saying this is not human therefore its ethically okay to treat this target without compassion and deny the fact it has sentience. We gamers fall under this category for journalists, developers, companies and society at large. This is a tactic we are familiar with to an extent as it implies that we are not normal when we do not do what everybody else is doing. “Geeks are the worse” or “Nerds need to fall into a pit of lava” are verbal dehumanization forms that most people in society say and we as Gamers tend to be relegated to those categories. This is their way of imposing the social hierarchy on us by establishing superiority. We know this as Gamers as we see it very often in the games that we play and some times experience it in real life.
- Deflection/Projection: This is basic psychology 101. By redirecting the conversation away from their mistakes and back on to the opposing view to avert blame and justify their innocence they can avoid criticism. However; deflection is a CONSCIOUS decision, meaning they have no real argument to justify their incompetence. If you can consciously process the situation, you have self-agency which means you don’t have a legitimate excuse. Projection is something else entirely. Most times, Projection doesn’t work on conscious decisions rather it is automatically deployed when feeling threatened, anxious or both. Instead of accepting accountability for feelings or actions that are deemed socially unacceptable they accuse others of committing that unacceptable behavior thereby exonerating themselves and proving that those feelings and/or actions are not their own.

So I was on the monthly plan, had no real issues, was content to just let it tick over however I got note of a deal where I could sign up for the yearly price and basically pay half. Great, sure why not. So after signing up and getting the credits, any time I go to the audible home page, all I see is an image advertising memberships and how I should sign up. If I click "Continue to membership" then I get told "Welcome back to audible, you have already purchased a membership plan you cannot purchase a second membership".
However, I don't want another membership, I just want to see what's for sale. My library is still there and I can use the menu bar to search Categories but I don't get the usual "here's some suggestions" page I always saw previously. This is impacting both app and webpage.

First of all I have to say I'm not a big music expert. More like the "listens-to-everything" type. Honestly, of course there are styles of music that I don't particularly appreciate (Rap, Jazz, Metal), but otherwise everything from Monteverdi operas to current electronic pop is included. I therefore ask you to treat my assumptions with caution and to forgive some statements that may not be particularly profound.
I often go to YT to listen to music (I often just watch the videos in passing because I don't necessarily need moving images to accompany music that I like). I've noticed lately that even without the YT algorithm (I'm deleting my cookies), I keep clicking on songs that came out in 1984. I don't do this consciously, but simply because it really seems that exactly 40 years ago only super-hit songs were coming out. Then I did some research and actually: Even if you don't just focus at Number 1 hits (I'm from Europe, but it seems the differences to the kind of songs that became hugely popular in the United States where not that big then), it feels like that during the 52 weeks of 1984 more than 100 songs that became enormously famous came out in '84 - that's two world hits every single week!
Most of them still stand the test of time and remain well-known even to people who weren't born in 1984 yet (like myself). For example, when I think of your karaoke sessions at my colleges student club, I would assume that roughly 10% of pop songs people choose to sing there (and the night is long...) where written and published in 1984! No other year seems so significant for pop music history, not even the also extremely popular Y2K for the Noughties, because the era of 00's-Hits spans over more than just one year (I would say 1997 to 2002). Of course some 80's pop classics also came out one or two years earlier or later, but I would take any bet that these wouldn't even represent the majority of the 80's-songs if you added them together against the tunes that came out in '84 ALONE!

Compared to 1984, 2024 seems a rather absolutely irrelevant year in pop music history: Everything is dominated by Taylor Swift - yeah, I know, Michael Jackson ruled 80's pop, but at least he wasn't alone... Maybe 1967 is probably the only comparable year to 1984 in terms of popular music - but for rock, not pop, when the big groups of the time such as the Beatles, Stones, Beach Boys, The Who, Kinks etc. released very important beat and rock albums and songs that are still widely known "oldies" today (a fact that I learned trough articles BEFORE recognizing it by myself, to be honest).

A low level instance. Could you imagine discovering a new chasm somewhere in Wailing Caverns where there's a new load of creatures that have never seen the light of day. so much stronger than anything you've ever gone up against.
The Serpent Lords were only the gatekeepers. Minions compared to what was waiting ahead. Bigger Dino's and Oozes with crazy new abilities.
Mutanis, Kresh, Skum, Verdan, even the Deviate Fairy Dragon. All youngsters who just went out wandering the caves and got lost Land Before Time style...And their Parents are much bigger and angrier.
At the back of the Cavern, there is a huge sparkling pool of life where these creatures got their energy from. A HUGE Octopus type boss comes out. and you have to split into groups to make sure each tentacle dies at the same time all while 2 or 3 tanks rotate holding aggro on the body.
And at the end...when you think its all over, There is a body of an old adventurer on a Pyre, you awaken him and defeat him...but each raid reset, he is a random class (Mage, Warrior, paladin, Hunter...etc.) with abilities that match that class type. and you must defeat him. BUT YOU DONT KNOW WHAT CLASS HE IS UNTIL PHASE 2. where you think you defeated his frail ass and he falls into the water and reawakens into his younger self. and the Epic weapon he Drops is always that coinciding classes BIS weapon and a random epic manual of another class that was too difficult for him to learn, teaching an all new spell or ability.
For example. the Warrior boss drops either a massive 2h weapon or a 1h/shield combo and a Warlock Manual that a warlock can use to add a new summon spell for an all new demon pet. Or maybe a new hunter shot that can momentarily leech or net a mob.
....yeah, thats what it should be.
In exchange of Blizz using this idea and raking in the millions upon millions of dollars. They can just name the last boss after me. make an opening cinematic in his (my) image, give me a free wow sub for life, and make a blizz shop pet Octopus that slithers behind you and donate a portion of each sale to Jack and Jill Foundation for Children with parents with cancer....Oh. and a mount that only I will ever have!!!!!! (thats not too much to ask, right?)...all negotiable of course.

I'm posting some old stories that I wrote maybe 6 or 7 years ago before I knew HFY existed so you may have read them before on WP or some other sub but they are mine. Also, obligatory "english is not my first language"
Calvin sat in silence, his gaze focused on the green dot flashing slowly on his console. The Council had kept their word. His comm interface had connected to a temporary relay satellite near Saturn. A special request that was granted to lift Earth's isolation sentence for a brief moment to relay a final message to the cosmos. Everything was ready, the message prerecorded the day before and final adjustements to the gift had been made a few weeks ago. Calvin pondered everything that had happened, every events leading to this moment, to humanity's last chance to stand on the centerstage.
It didn't start this way. When humanity first made contact with an extraterrestrial race, we were welcomed with opened arms. Our very first message was "we come in a spirit of friendship" Humanity's quick evolution and technological progress had already caught the attention of the Galactic System Alliance. Some of its members were concerned over the general violent tendencies demonstrated throughout human history but true to its benevolent mission, the Alliance had given humanity the benefit of the doubt. We were allowed outposts, territories, trading routes and even the newly created 328th seat on the Galactic Council of Representatives. Humanity was given a real fair chance to shine. And boy did we waste it.
The Galactic Alliance was over 5 million years old, some of its members could be traced back all the way to the founding days of the Alliance. It had brought about a previously unheard of, almost uninterrupted era of peace throughout the galaxy. Its rulings were generally both fair and just. A beacon of hope and justice into the dark cosmos. Humanity gave it its first civil war, less than 50 years after joining. 5 million years of peace, ripped apart in the space of a moment.
Humanity started off well enough. Outposts and trading were profitable and while human vessels were not as technologically advanced as other races, our ability to anticipate enemy movements and quickly adapt to volatile situations made us a prime candidate for galactic peacekeeping missions. Humans rapidly made a name for themselves as a deterrent to pirates and smugglers. The Galactic Council did not hesitate to authorize human settlements in sectors prone to hostile actions, knowing that humanity's presence would pacify a sector quickly. Humanity's image rose to a more favorable one and initial concerns and hesitations towards us slowly crumbled away. Unfortunately with the rise of humanity's standing, came a rise of its hubris. After all, humans will always remain humans; fickle, volatile, greedy.
Humanity became more and more demanding in its dealings with the Alliance. We constantly wanted more, became arrogant, took what we felt we deserved. The Council turned a blind eye when humanity moved in on turbulent territories and claim them for itself but before long, we had our eyes set on more prominent systems. With every outburst and hostile action, we only isolated ourselves further. Humanity's positive image quickly turned negative, and when backed into a corner, humanity turned vengeful. We convinced ourselves we were the victims and that in the end, it was us or them. Some members of the Alliance came to view our side of things, others were forced into servitude. A simple spark was all it took for a full fledge civil war to break out.
Within the span of only 3 years, the Alliance was on fire, divided, broken. Humanity's unmatched potential for warfare made it a formidable enemy but in the end our arrogance got the better of us and we lost. The consequences for our actions were harsh but justified. Given humanity's irrecoverable nature, we had been sentenced to erasing. All humans would be relocated to Earth, sterilized and left to die alone, the Sol system kept under a permanent military blockade. All mentions of humanity were to be removed from Galactic history and we would be forgotten, erased from existence. It was the second time only, in the entire Alliance's history that this punishment was handed out.
As a final gesture of good will, the Council had authorized a final message from humanity's last living representative to the members of the Alliance, to be distributed, but then erased. Looking up from his console, Calvin toggled the small switch that would send out the transmission to the satellite's internal memory, then end his life. He permitted himself a final smile, the Council would be seriously pissed... at first.
In the dark emptiness of space, the small satellite's memory indicator turned red, signaling reception of a message but unfortunately it was too far away to witness the small light flash from the thermo nuclear explosion that officially ended humanity's presence in the galaxy.
Captain Xandar was pacing back and forth across the small bridge of his scout vessel. While he was honored to be part of an official Council mission, he couldn't help but feel that he was potentially being sacrificed as cannon fodder. The Council may have granted the human's wish of a last message but it still feared a trap. Human's deceptive and violent nature would leave a dark shadow on the galaxy, slow to vanish. Humanity's first word to the Alliance, "Friend" had become a synonym of "deceit, treachery and naivety". The 20 large warships hiding just outside the limit of the Sol system did nothing to calm Xandar's nerves. While they were there to offer protection in case of a human trap, should things go south they would probably not hesitate to destroy Xandar's vessel if needed.
Captain, we are in range of the relay satellite. Systems confirm there is indeed a message on the internal memory. Initial scans show the data file is rather large but still looks clean.
Xandar sighed, the poor human schmuck probably went on a long tirade against the Alliance. A fitting end for such a violent race.
Very well lieutenant, download and scan the message. If everything looks good we'll transmit it to the Council and they can decide if it's worth sharing to the rest of the Alliance or not.
As soon as the young lieutenant opened the message file, all lights on the bridge went out, the quiet hum of the engines vanished and artificial gravity disengaged. Xandar was doing his best to maintain his composure while slowly drifting 2 feet in the air but as suddenly as it had vanished, artificial gravity came back and the emergency lighting activated, bathing the bridge in a reddish hue. On the main screen was a sole human, weak and frail in appearance.
Apologies to the commander of the Alliance vessel, I assure you that I meant no disrespect and no harm to your vessel and your crew. As authorized by the Galactic Council of Representatives, I hereby bring you a final farewell from humanity, as well as a final gift to remember us by.
Xandar was panicking, all restraint and stoic facade usually associated with his rank had vanished from his face, his eyes were white with fear.
Shit! The damn human played us like fool! Lieutenant, I want an immediate status report on the ship's systems. First officer, contact the fleet, there is no telling what we just exposed ourselves to.
Comms are down sir, unable to raise the fleet. We have limited access to the main computer and all blast doors have been sealed shut throughout the ship. She’s dead in the waters Sir.

Your analysis team is probably telling you about now that the 2 data files enclosed with this message are organic and they are correct though fear not, it is not a biological agent or a viral threat. Both files contain the DNA blueprints of Dogs. While we initially had dozen of sub-species, the complexity of this entire action limited me to only upload one specific breed. More precisely I give you the Retriever Labrador. I have enclosed blueprints for a brown-coated male and a golden-coated female. Though they are called man's best friend, I assure you they are nothing like us, to the contrary they are loyal, playful and innocent. They represent everything humanity has failed to be. They are our gift to you in the hope that you will one day forgive us for everything we have done. May they be a protector when evil threatens you. May they be love when hate isolates you. We can't, the auxiliary deck is hooked up directly within the main generator and has its own dedicated safety bypass. It's meant to work even in the events of a catastrophic engine failure to insure the survival of the crew.
Shit! The human didn't do this by accident. He purposely automated his virus through the backup replicators knowing full well we wouldn't be able to turn them off. First officer, I need you to vent the atmosphere from the auxiliary deck's replicator room.
Controls are unresponsive Sir
Then blow the damn room out to space, do whatever is needed to stop this!
There is nothing we can do sir, we're completely locked out of the auxiliary deck. Security teams are waiting outside the replicator room but the system won't allow me to open the door.
Xandar was unsure how to proceed at this point. They had been compromised but calling in the fleet would mean immediate destruction. He pondered for a while but then made the decision to contact the fleet regardless of the consequences. He had a duty to insure the safety of the Alliance. He turned to the young lieutenant and gave the order to raise the fleet. His gaze was however quickly met with the panicked expression of the young comm's lieutenant.
Sir! The recording! It's transmitting itself to the fleet via our open commlink!
WHAT?
The fleet is no longer responding. I think... I think they're going through what we went through when we first opened the recording.
Xandar was in shock. The realisation of what was about to happen was slowly setting in.
If you're right son, that means the recording will activate their organic replicators as well and then transmit itself to the rest of the Alliance fleet. We've doomed the Alliance.

Auxiliary deck controls are back online! Scanners indicate 2 life forms. Replicator room doors just opened on their own!

It only seemed fitting that humanity's last action would be to blow trough bureaucratic redtapes and regulations to impose dogs on the galaxy (with the best of intentions of course). Calvin did promise no harm would come the vessel and its crew and that's been true... for the most part. There is definitly no physical harm and while psychological and/or traumatic consequences are a possibility (albeith a rather small one), you know... dogs will take care of that. It all works out in the end.
Well, except for the poor Glaxien crew members who turns out are deadly allergic to dog hair, and the Phlosaks whose skin reacts to dog urine as if it was acid (poor bastard got peed on his face when he lifted a puppy), and the Klaangorians who's very fragile and very vital lower mandible looked like the ideal chew toy for one young puppy. A very uselessly exposed lower mandible if you ask me. Not to mention the many planetary ecosystems that will be seriously messed up by the introduction of a new uncontrolled species.
In fact some would argue that those pesky government regulations were there for a reason, that with time, the Alliance could and would have experimented with the DNA blueprint in a controlled environment and then, given positive results, would have moved on to a gradual and supervised introduction of dogs in the galaxy.
But you know, that's just not the human way to do things. Better to rip the bandage in one go and hope for the best. Surely the Alliance can't fault humanity for what Calvin did, it was for the best, THEIR best and while in retrospect we are kinda sorry about the whole "accidental death by dogs" thing and ruined ecosystems, these are freak occurences, trivial, statistically benign. Like the great Cave Johnson once said, if I put these numbers into my calculator it makes a happy face.

Calvin sat in silence, his gaze focused on the green dot flashing slowly on his console. The Council had kept their word. His comm interface had connected to a temporary relay satellite near Saturn. A special request that was granted to lift Earth's isolation sentence for a brief moment to relay a final message to the cosmos. Everything was ready, the message prerecorded the day before and final adjustements to the gift had been made a few weeks ago. Calvin pondered everything that had happened, every events leading to this moment, to humanity's last chance to stand on the centerstage.
It didn't start this way. When humanity first made contact with an extraterrestrial race, we were welcomed with opened arms. Our very first message was "we come in a spirit of friendship" Humanity's quick evolution and technological progress had already caught the attention of the Galactic System Alliance. Some of its members were concerned over the general violent tendencies demonstrated throughout human history but true to its benevolent mission, the Alliance had given humanity the benefit of the doubt. We were allowed outposts, territories, trading routes and even the newly created 328th seat on the Galactic Council of Representatives. Humanity was given a real fair chance to shine. And boy did we waste it.
The Galactic Alliance was over 5 million years old, some of its members could be traced back all the way to the founding days of the Alliance. It had brought about a previously unheard of, almost uninterrupted era of peace throughout the galaxy. Its rulings were generally both fair and just. A beacon of hope and justice into the dark cosmos. Humanity gave it its first civil war, less than 50 years after joining. 5 million years of peace, ripped apart in the space of a moment.
Humanity started off well enough. Outposts and trading were profitable and while human vessels were not as technologically advanced as other races, our ability to anticipate enemy movements and quickly adapt to volatile situations made us a prime candidate for galactic peacekeeping missions. Humans rapidly made a name for themselves as a deterrent to pirates and smugglers. The Galactic Council did not hesitate to authorize human settlements in sectors prone to hostile actions, knowing that humanity's presence would pacify a sector quickly. Humanity's image rose to a more favorable one and initial concerns and hesitations towards us slowly crumbled away. Unfortunately with the rise of humanity's standing, came a rise of its hubris. After all, humans will always remain humans; fickle, volatile, greedy.
Humanity became more and more demanding in its dealings with the Alliance. We constantly wanted more, became arrogant, took what we felt we deserved. The Council turned a blind eye when humanity moved in on turbulent territories and claim them for itself but before long, we had our eyes set on more prominent systems. With every outburst and hostile action, we only isolated ourselves further. Humanity's positive image quickly turned negative, and when backed into a corner, humanity turned vengeful. We convinced ourselves we were the victims and that in the end, it was us or them. Some members of the Alliance came to view our side of things, others were forced into servitude. A simple spark was all it took for a full fledge civil war to break out.
Within the span of only 3 years, the Alliance was on fire, divided, broken. Humanity's unmatched potential for warfare made it a formidable enemy but in the end our arrogance got the better of us and we lost. The consequences for our actions were harsh but justified. Given humanity's irrecoverable nature, we had been sentenced to erasing. All humans would be relocated to Earth, sterilized and left to die alone, the Sol system kept under a permanent military blockade. All mentions of humanity were to be removed from Galactic history and we would be forgotten, erased from existence. It was the second time only, in the entire Alliance's history that this punishment was handed out.
As a final gesture of good will, the Council had authorized a final message from humanity's last living representative to the members of the Alliance, to be distributed, but then erased. Looking up from his console, Calvin toggled the small switch that would send out the transmission to the satellite's internal memory, then end his life. He permitted himself a final smile, the Council would be seriously pissed... at first.

It is paralyzing to have so many but all basic-level skills that I wish to grow and specialize in, and what makes it even more difficult is unknowing what my passion is. All of the non-technical people in my life encourage me to do something with what seems to them "impressive technical skills" instead of working 11 hours a day in a sales job that I hate, my family wishes I did something with my degree instead, I graduated two years ago as a biomedical engineer (and low-key I regret it now). Of course "impressive" is very subjective, and I realize that those people don't know exactly what the job roles are in any technical field, so I can't build up on those impressions as for them installing drivers for a new hardware and using a CMD makes them think I'm cut for an IT position, and for them a programmer is simply someone who makes software on a computer, and since I was able to create a calculator application in C# and build a website in HTML and CSS, they think now I'm all set for a career in programming.
The thing is, all of my knowledge in: - C# (Winform and Console apps only) - HTML, CSS - Database management and SQL (MS-SQL, SQLite) - Computers software and hardware repair (General IT entry-level skills) - Video editing (in adobe premiere, and other open-source video editing software) - Graphic design (in photoshop) - Flash game deisgn (very old hobby I had) - Technical drawing in SolidWorks - Java programming in Android Studio (I dabbled into it for a university project). - Digital image processing (in Matlab, also for a university class I had).
is at a beginner level. I never gave myself the time to master a thing, and I can't figure out what I should stick to.
For a long time, my dream was to get into game dev, but seeing how competitive and time-consuming it is and judging by the lengthy learning resources available which need to be followed by a protfolio that also needs time to build, and finally hearing about how it actually pays less than software development, I wrote it off. My 2 fellow engineer friends recommended either going for a DevOPS path, or a blender 3D modelling path. Before asking for their advice, I was aiming for a databases-related job because I enjoyed working with databases queries the most, but all of the job descriptions in my country seem to require a lot a lot more than just doing sql queries, so then I was drifted away by a third friend who is a web developer, he convinced me to try out the free bootcamp called "TheOdinProject" and I'm half way in already in their "Foundation" course. And my progress pace suddenly slowed down significantly at some harder topics. Why did I listen to the web developer and ignored the other 2 guys? Honestly I was afraid that being a bit slow at abstract concepts won't make the DevOps path easy for me, and the Blender route was as dreadful because it takes the double amount of time of Web Dev and DevOps as it requires a ton of practice but with the constraining working hours I currently have, that would be super difficult to achieve. So now I don't know what to trust, web dev looks to require as much dedication as the others and I don't know if I will have the motivation to pick it up and get up to speed as before after being stuck for a while now.

UA- NA Sales expected to fall as much as 17% this year. Founder Kevin Plank returned to CFO role in April. Note that Kevin Plank had a lot of complaints regarding inappropriate behavior from female lieutenants. Issued profit warning, expects adjusted earnings of 18 vs 21 cents/share. (Prior expectation was 59 cents a share). Disclosed news of it’s restructuring plan as well.
CB- Revealed as Buffett’s newest investment AH yesterday.
NVDA- We're getting close to that $1000 price point again and I'm getting antsy.
