iPhone ROM’s for Gen 3 Games
2024.05.29 04:52 Secret-Total2149 iPhone ROM’s for Gen 3 Games
Hey so I’ve always played the Pokémon games on my DS or GameBoy because I have had all the cartridges since I was a kid. There are times I want to play Pokémon when I’m either taking the train or out and have some time to kill. Are these emulators/roms worth it? Do they work well? Which one should I download?

2024.05.29 04:13 LandscapeBitter AutoDS Support & Sync Issues
Hey guys,
I'm having so much issues with AutoDS. Their support is insanely terrible and don't even answer the questions.
My store somehow stopped syncing, and I've renewed the token and resynced the store and all my ebay products aren't coming across. I've spent the last 2 days trying to get support to help but they just keep asking for screenshots of my ebay products.
Any advice on how to get it to resync? I've tried removing the store and re-adding too and still nothing.
Any advice would be appreciated!

2024.05.29 02:05 xmjchx Flashcarts for DSi 1.4.5E.
Hi, i’m here to ask y’all what’s the best R4 for my DSi. I didn’t know that with version 1.4.5E, no R4 I have in the house would work anymore, so I find myself having to buy a new one. Which ones should I buy, and from which site can I get them? (Reliable maybe)
Thank you.
(I don’t want to downgrade the console, i’m not practical and I risk to brick the console. Not knowing about this, I downloaded the roms to be inserted in the R4 that was given to me along with the DSi, but I updated it, and it no longer works. It’s true, I was stupid, but until now I didn’t know about this, since I always had a Nintendo DS where all the R4s worked.)

2024.05.29 00:20 ComparisonMuch4961 what ratio tuners do shecter omen elite/extreme have?
im getting a schecter omen elite 6 and a schecter omen extreme 7 soon i believe, and if i plan on changing the tuners to locking tuners (which i most likely will eventually) what ratio would i use? i looked at a pair of 3x3

2024.05.28 22:50 MindlessTime Engineers talk about coding "close to the metal". Is the DS equivalent "close to the math"?
"Close to the metal" refers to low-level programming languages that give (or require) control over things like memory management that high-level languages like python abstract away.
I started off in DS with a lot of out-of-the-box implementations of common algorithms, almost exclusively for prediction problems. It was a lot of `import sklearn`, tune a model, serve the scores to a service or stakeholder.
As I've grown, I've started tackling more problems that are beyond simple prediction. These vary from causal inference to constrained optimization problems. Sometimes I'll define a problem mathematically and it's just a basic optimization.
I now find myself digging into methods and libraries that were previously abstracted away by auto-ML tools like scikit-learn. I'll even end up re-writing a simple gradient descent algo because I need it to optimize a value that isn't strictly an ML model.
Consequentially, I've started to believe that the DS equivalent of being "close to the metal" is being "close to the math". I'm not sayng "only real DS know the math" by any means. For something like NLP or CV especially, it would be futile to re-define and re-code that much complexity from scratch. But the abstractions of, e.g. scikit-learn eventually feel like they're holding me back from tackling a larger set of problems.
Does anyone else feel this way? I'd love people's thoughts and experience.

2024.05.28 22:48 BashfulFem22 Here's my personal grail, the European Mario Kart DS Multiplayer Kiosk Demo
| This was used at events such as E3 several months before the game released back in summer 2005 to show off the multiplayer capability. Originally, there were a speculated 8 copies that existed at the time (hence the "2-8 multiplay" on the label). As of yet, only 5 unique copies out of the 8 have been confirmed to still exist. Mine is one of them. Interestingly enough, you can't play the game in single player mode (as it was a multiplayer demonsttation), so you would have to have the ROM also booted up on a separate DS at the same time to play. If you don't, it'll just sit on the copyright screen. This is quite the unique piece to own! (Last image is this demo compared to the much more widespread US single player counterpart) submitted by BashfulFem22 to gamecollecting [link] [comments] |

For Parts/Not Working consoles that have been broken down, including one housing (has some chips/cracks), 2 motherboards, all components, however some are guaranteed to not work. The boards themselves may have additional issues beyond the removed chips, I have no way to test or check them. Neither of these motherboards work. Both of them were giving different graphical issues on the screen, so I thought I'd be clever and try to swap some chips around, but found out as I was doing it that I have no experience with it and was in way over my head. 2024.05.28 18:48 KamiSama_OwO Pokemon Black 2 rom white screen on Wood kernel
As the title says I download a rom for pokemon black 2, and I used the cheats in my ace3ds clone R4 to bypass the anti piracy thing. But now if I boot up the game it just gives me a white screen. Im playing on a 3DS, has it something to do with DS or DSi mode of the game? Is there a way to change this setting in wood kernel? Thanks to everyone in advance!

Tertiary: (source code)
The Github page contains all scripts and wrapper files used in the pack. Check it out if you want to see the code without downloading the full binary pack, or just steal them for your own use. Note that downloading from Github directly won't work - you need either this provided pack or go manually fetch all the binaries yourself in order to just plug them in and start working.

Utilities:
Instructions
- Import all .xml files from the \job files directory into PDQ deploy (it should look roughly like this after you've imported them).
- Copy all files from the \repository directory to wherever your repository is.
- All jobs reference PDQ's $(Repository) variable, so make sure it's set in preferences.
Package Notes
- Read the notes in the PDQ interface for each package, they explain what that installer does. Basically, most packages use a .bat file to accomplish multi-step installs with the free version of PDQ. You can edit the batch files to see what they do; most just delete "All Users" desktop shortcuts and things like that. changelog-v##-updated-.txt has version and release history.
- Thunderbird:
- Thunderbird is configured to use a global config file stored on a network share. This allows for settings changes en masse. By default it's set to check for config updates every 120 minutes.
- You can change the config location, update frequency, OR disable this behavior entirely by editing thunderbird-custom-settings.js.
- A copy of the config file is in the Thunderbird directory and is called thunderbird-global-settings.js
- If you don't want any customizations, just edit Thunderbird's .bat file and comment out or delete all the lines mentioning the custom config files.
Integrity
The file \integrity verification\checksums.txt is signed with my PGP key (0x07d1490f82a211a2, pubkey included). You can use this to verify package integrity.
If you find a bug or glitch, PM me or post it here. Advice and comments are welcome and appreciated.

2024.05.28 16:46 zman2100 It IS possible to own retro handhelds and actually play and finish games. Share your list of finished games in the comments.
Inspired by the constant talk of "no one actually plays games, this is a sub dedicated to buying new handhelds and setting them up", I figured I'd share my story. I grew up playing games on Nintendo handhelds and I got into retro handhelds with the original Miyoo Mini in the summer of 2022. I think that was a gateway drug for many as it hit the fringe of mainstream and made us aware that this sort of thing even existed. I was previously completely oblivious to the fact that companies like Anbernic and Retroid were making handhelds specifically with the goal of emulating retro consoles, and so the Miyoo Mini gaining some traction on social media opened my eyes to this industry and I started following it. I was blown away by a a $60 device doing everything the MM did, particularly when I turned it on and set it next to my old GBA SP and compared the screens.
After receiving my MM, I dug out my old Nintendo handhelds (which include a Game Boy Pocket, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, Game Boy Advance SP, 1st gen Nintendo DS, and New 3DS XL) and hacked my 3DS. A year later, after loving my Miyoo Mini but constantly dealing with cramped hands due to the bad ergonomics of playing on such a tiny device, I bought the follow-up in the MM+. After enjoying that form factor much more and having spent 18 months playing retro games on the two, I started wanting access to more consoles and after almost pulling the trigger on a Retroid Pocket 4 Pro, I ordered the AYN Odin 2 due to the larger screen, better ergonomics, and better battery life. Between owning a launch-day Switch, hacked 3DS, Miyoo Mini+, and Odin 2, I honestly don't think I need another handheld for a long time (well, until the Switch successor launches, but the Switch as a modern console I think puts it in a slightly different category).
As a dad with two young kids, these days handheld gaming is the ONLY way I get to play games for myself. I can't remember the last time I sat down in front of my TV and fired up the Xbox or played a Switch game by myself. And so, I wanted to share that it is possible to only own a few handhelds and actually play games on them without constantly buying whatever is next and then putting it on a shelf. So, below is the list of games I've played and finished since getting my Miyoo Mini 2 years ago, in no particular order. Anything GBA/SNES/PS1 and earlier was played on my MM or MM+; everything newer was played on my Odin 2 save for DS/3DS, which I played on my hacked 3DS XL.
COMPLETED:
- Mother (NES)
- Mother 2/Earthbound (SNES)
- WarioWare Inc. (GBA)
- Super Mario Land (GB)
- Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins (GB)
- Super Mario Bros (NES)
- Super Mario Bros 2 (NES)
- Mario Golf - Advance Tour (GBA)

- Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (Android)
- Batman: Arkham City (Switch)
- Paper Mario (N64)
- The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker (GameCube)
PLAYED (either unfinished or are "arcade-style" games that can't really be finished)
- Pokemon Unbound (GBA)
- Super Mario RPG (SNES)
- Pokémon Pinball: Ruby and Sapphire (GBA)
- Star Wars: Rogue Squadron (N64)
- Pokémon Emerald Rogue (GBA)
- Micro Mages (NES)
- Tetris Rosy Retrospection (GB)
- Dead Cells (Android)
- Kirby Air Ride (GameCube)
- F-Zero GX (GameCube)
- Crazy Taxi (Dreamcast)
- Crazy Taxi 2 (Dreamcast)
- Pokémon MMO (Android)
- Pokémon Picross (GBC)
- The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap (GBA)
- Mother 3 (GBA; just started it)
I'll give Chrono Trigger the title of favorite game I've played from the list as it was my first time through it and I was blown away not just by how good it is, but by how well it has held up 30 years later. It and KOTOR are probably the two games that sucked me in the most. Pokémon Fire Red Rocket Edition gets the nod for favorite ROM hack even if Unbound is probably a better game.
What about you? What games have you played and finished on your handheld(s)?

2024.05.28 16:11 lolhopen Original vs Final Remix for first time
I've read a bit about the main differences (gameplay and the extra chapter), and I have some questions about them.
1) In original "you fight with second character like partners", while in FR the second character is more like a special attack you use. So the question is: does the second character brawls themselves with auto-controls and maybe some ultimate attack button, or are they just AFK until you press that special attack button or something?
2) Obviously, FR has the extra chapter that leads to a sequel(?). Are there any other changes in the main story aside from that (that lead to sequel or not), or the extra chapter is the only way?
3) If extra chapter is the only story difference, can I just play DS for the main story and download some save for FR to play the extra chapter?

/sysadmin and spiceworks, not a single reply, so trying here before I open what will inevitably be a weeks-long ticket with MS spent mostly arguing with them to assign us the correct engineer.
Have two identically configured Server 2022 VMs in Azure running an application that has 10 windows services that do various file import/export functions between the app, the shared disk/CSV on this VM cluster, and an Azure File Share.
Everything is working except when I go to add services(roles) in WFCM. The 10 services can only be running on one VM at a time, and never down on both, so we're trying to leverage WFCM's Role feature to handle failover of the services between the two VMs (nodes). Here's what I'm doing to add a role;
- Righ-click Roles in WFCM > Configure Role
- Generic Service
- Select the service I want configured for failover.
- Name...I'm honestly not really sure what I'm supposed to put here, so I'm just doing Service1, Service 2, etc. For this attempt, it's TestService1.
- Storage...again, not sure what to do here, it doesn't list the shared disk for some reason, but I don't think these services require a disk assignment.
- Registry...same, and I don't think the services need this either.
- Confirmation...shows the VM subnet, the name from step 4, OU shows , nothing listed under Registry Keys.
The Role immediately shows a status of Failed, if I right-click the Role and show critical events, I see event IDs 1254, 1205, 1069. At some point I also saw event ID 1045, but not yet today. It also says the owner node is VM2, when the service is running on VM1/stopped on VM2.
In ps if I do a
Get-ClusterResource I see the following;
PS C:\Windows\system32> Get-ClusterResource
Name State OwnerGroup ResourceType
---- ----- ---------- ------------
The_App_Service Offline TestService1 Generic Service
Cluster Name Online Cluster Group Distributed Network Name
IP Address 192.168.0.0 Failed TestService1 IP Address
Storage Qos Resource Online Cluster Group Storage QoS Policy Manager
TestService1 Offline TestService1 Network Name
Both VMs are EntraDS joined, I'm using an Entra DS admin account to log in to them (same account used to originally configure the cluster), services are currently set to auto on VM1/manual on VM2, services do have a custom logon domain user account configured for AFS access, etc.
No idea what the problem is, and MS docs are absolutely terrible for this (and outdated by several years). I suspect it has something to do with the Name/IP objects, but I'm out of my depth here and don't have any KBs or docs to reference about that. Or maybe this is yet another one of those unmentioned limitations of Azure, that on-prem HyperV environments don't suffer from. Any ideas?
Edit: Event ID 1045 showed up again; No matching network interface found for resource 'IP Address 192.168.0.0' IP address '192.168.0.6' (return code was '87'). If your cluster nodes span different subnets, this may be normal.
Could this be happening because the VMs are in Azure, and the IP/subnet is assigned to the virtual nic, not the 'nic' as it appears in Windows?

2024.05.28 13:39 Bfire7 Want to factory reset my deck but how can I find the save files? Mainly relates to GTA4
I've been playing GTA4 Gay Tony DLC for the past few months, using the Dodi torrent recommended on here. It was all working fine then I stupidly decided to tidy up my Steam Deck by deleting some useless files.
They all seemed safe to delete, just duplicates of rom folders on my SD card and files from the downloads files like the Dodi files and a bunch of downloaded fix files for Max Payne 1 that didn't end up working. But now when I load my Steam Deck up, a bunch of games don't work anymore - the screen flashes then it goes back to the main Steam page. The broken games are:
- GTA4 + DLC
- Little Nightmares
- 99% of the rom files I put on there (Amiga, Nintendo DS, mainly)
Weirdly Mario Kart for the DS DOES still load, but nothing else. Is it because I've been playing Mario Kart and not any of the other roms?
I went into Trash and restored the Little Nightmares folder I saw there (I deleted it from a random folder in Downloads so don't understand why it fucked the game), and now that DOES load. I've restored all the roms folders but they still don't work anymore.
But the worst one is GTA4. It took ages to install this (trying various different cracked versions) and many hours of gameplay on Gay Tony, think I'm about 60% of the way through it. There are three GTA folders in my trash, I restored one and nothing changed. But when I try to restore the others it says error, the folder already exists.
At this point I just want to factory reset my Steam Deck and start again as the main games I play have their saves saved to the cloud. But how/where can I find the save files for GTA4 and Little Nightmares on my deck? (I can find the rom saves as they're next to the actual files).
Also, is there a way of exporting the settings I have for the controllers (eg how the touch pad works), and the personalized controller set ups I have for various games, both cracked and bought?
