i’ve been impressed with the teasers they’ve released over the past week but i just want to gush for a minute because they’re actually so good!!!!!!!
introvert teasers- absolutely gagged over the vintage videography, media club vibe. i love the slight dark academia look mixed with the almost candlelight mv-esque coloring? something about the clothing, the cameras, and warm brownish palette is soooo aesthetically pleasing to me ₍ᐢ ɞ̴̶̷ ̫ ɞ̴̶̷ ᐢ₎
boost your energy teasers- when i say i GASPED when mark’s set dropped omfg. i was not expecting this styling, especially after seeing the introvert teasers, but i love it! i’m a mark ult so his photos blew me away but i also really, really like jeno’s teasers (he’s a king of posing tbh) and the funky hair on renjun and haechan! jisung’s pretty starry highlight is also to die for ‎ ᵒ̴̶̷̥́ Ⱉ ᵒ̴̶̷̣̥̀
and finally extrovert teasers- they’re giving daytime, glowed up GO boys and I. LOVE. ITTTTT so so so much it’s 2023 and i still think GO was one of their best eras styling-wise so i immediately liked the extrovert styling too!! haechan’s mesh top, jeno’s flare jeans and striped long sleeve, chenle’d plaid shirt + layered crop top, renjun’s (faux) LIP RING???, jaemin’s arms (aka JARMS), mark’s everything but shoutout to his sexy diet coke, and jisung’s slouchy sleeveless plaid hoodie thing omfg the emo sk8rboi LA aesthetic is so cute and fun i love it!!!!!!!
and then there’s the we go extroverted teaser video!!!!! so trendy with the camcordevideotape vibe, and i love seeing dream just goofing around and having fun. i wonder if they’ll continue those clips with the official ISTJ music video?
i know i’ll love it either way because the teasers have wow-ed me multiple times already (and the apple music image of the album cover? looked SO cute, like vintage + f(x) pink tape which can only mean the birth of another iconic album) but it’s all just so exciting!!!! the recent article teasing two of the b-side tracks (skateboard & blue wave) also has me super hyped because 2000s hiphop is 100% dream vibe and a continuation of queen gorae is bound to be an instant hit ᯟ𐫢 ᯏ
anyways, only two more weeks to go until dream’s THIRD full album (can’t believe i’m actually saying that i am so proud!!!!) and hoping that dream have a safe and fun south american tour ‎ ( ͡σ̴̶̷̤. ͡σ̴̶̷̤.)ෆ🩵🩵🩵

Steeped in sun-drenched 60s and 70s nostalgia through its earthy palette and curvy fonts, the branding really lends the product a strong sense of time and place.

Observ is a charity dealing with mental health in children. u/Svnth- designed this brand identity centred around a visually-striking logo (which can be animated as above) which recalls an open eye. The branding is professional and clean, lending an air of authority to the brand.
However, the brand is saved from becoming too serious for a charity dealing with children by the inclusion of big, fun emoticons. Rendered in the same stark black and white as the rest of the branding they help sand down its otherwise hard edges.

This month, u/VaporWaveMac created this threatening project as part of a series exploring capital, consumerism, and how corporations relate to their customers (something at the core of graphic design as a profession!)
The bold colour scheme recalls a certain famous fast-food chain and is almost sickly, demanding the viewer's undivided attention. The all-seeing eye atop the signpost is ominous. Throughout the project, capitalist hallmarks are referenced and pastiched in a satisfyingly tight critique of modern consumerism.

For their final university project, u/lidolemonade designed this board game centred around themes of climate change and with the brief of "designing for good". The design takes cues from retro sources with its misshapen text and illustrations, while its warm and earthy colour scheme ties into the game itself.
Thought has been given to how the project functions as a game, too, with big clear icons to help players navigate the board, clear colour signposting, and a well thought-out board design overall.

u/jaehjlee shared this personal branding project made for themselves this month. As someone brought up in an East Asian household, they wanted the branding to reference Chinese seals (used by many Chinese businesses to identify themselves in documents), hence the strong strokes and compact size. The symbol itself is based on the Chinese character that spells the designer's surname. A lovely piece of personal branding with plenty of thought and personality inside it!

There was lots of other excellent work posted this month, and thanks must go to everyone who's not afraid to share what they've been working on with Reddit! We're looking forward to seeing what's posted next month - please follow the rules when posting to ensure your work isn't removed.

Royale High has an ample amount of impressive accessories made by the devs and community for Avatar Creation. The accessories are wonderful. Though of course some of them do stem from the catalog (Such as the Nine-Tails accessory) and other original content.
The accessories are usually somewhat simple, but there is nothing wrong with that. Most games on Roblox don't have the customization options that Royale High does, which is actually pretty cool in general

>>Royale High Halo Collection<<
The Royale High Halos are a huge thing in the Royale High community. I didn't even know they existed until the mid-point of March. The Halo's are a very rare item, and often get 'inflated' in the Royale High community because of their rarity alone, on top of other reasons.
I do not like halos all that much, personally. This is not to say that the halos are ugly, or that I hate them. A lot of hard work goes into making these halos, as well as other creations that get pulled into Royale High via the devs or community. All of their hard work is appreciated and I think that it should be respected, even if it is not something that you like, personally.
Everyone has their own tastes. Everyone has their own styles. Everyone has their own opinions and views.
The halos, as a concept are cool. I think their rarity makes them all the much more cool to be able to gain.
However, and this is not the dev teams fault, the way halos are handled in the community is a little disappointing. I hope people calm down about them soon.

The Clothing Patterns is something that seems to be a bit more specific to Royale High, because I have not seen any other games actually use it. I think it is a cool, and interesting idea, because it makes your wardrobe feel a little more 'real' or 'interactive' while still being able to be edited.

The Makeup Collection that Royale High has is impressive. A lot of them are fan-made creations and I am glad that these people get to submit their work to be worn by other users.
The makeup in Royale High consists of a large collection from talented users. A lot of the faces that Royale High has will not be found in other games.
Then there is the custom face maker. I wish it were fleshed out a little more, but the fact that you get to make your own face is very, very cool. Not only do you get to pick eyes, and a mouth, but you can also pick facial details to go with it. Markings, eye shadow, blushes, and other things of the works.
It is one of my favorite features.

The Royale High Hair Collection is impressive, just like the accessories. The hairs are made by the Devs and sometimes inspired by the community. Most of these hairs that are in Royale High don't seem to be on the agenda for reaching the UGC catalog, for one reason or another.
This is another thing that makes Royale High so cool for character making. There are so many unique things that Royale High does have that won't be seen much of anywhere else.

The hair color collection is pretty cool too. I like that people make textures and palettes for hair, so you can make your character more unique. Not only does it make some people feel more connected to their characters.
I don't have much to say on the topic of the hair colors and textures. I just think that it is a really, really cool touch.

The Royale High Community has a nice collection of 2D wings made by the devs and the community. The wings range from goofy, to mythic, to pretty dang cool. The fact that some people that made the wings are not developers is also really cool. (Which was something I learned waaaay later)
The wings that were chosen for the game are impressive, and they are a good reminder of how amazing and talented the community can be.
I love it.

Introduced in Halloween of 2020, the Royale Rebel set is considered to be a pretty high-rated set. I like it, a lot. However, it is not my top set. The corset of the set is nice, and I love the fact that it is able to fit the standard male body type in the game.
That is one of the main reasons Royale High likes this set a lot. It is gothic (ish) and it can be used for both gender-types. This also includes the Sleeves and the Boots of the set.
I only got the corset and the sleeves, because they were the only things that interested me personally, but I am sure there are those that have, and are satisfied with the whole set.

Dear Dollie seemed to be a major favorite of everyone's before Shadow Empress and Starfrost came out. I like the heels, and the skirt, but I find myself using the Skirt more. Overall, it is a nicely modeled set, and I find it to be a nice starter outfit.
I don't really use the corset that much, but that is not me hating on it. I am not a huge fan of it's design, because it feels like it throws other items I want to use off. However, it is still a nice corset for those who wish to wear it.
I do suggest getting it, if you really want to.

The Winter Guardian Set was a set that is new to Royale High in winter of 2020. This set was made via concept with the help of Queen Chroma and Modeled by Reddie. I love this set, and the fact that it has so many toggle features. You can toggle Skirt Length, Whether or not you wear pants with the male version of the set, and a couple other things, I think.
Overall, it is a fun set for those who are feeling adventurous.
I do not use the skirt to much, but it is still a nice skirt regardless. I am glad this set gets the love it deserves.

Princess Starfrost was one of the other most popular sets until it came out again in December. It is a lovely set and I am glad that it gets as much love as it does.
The bonnet is cute, and the staff is to die for. I love the Skates and how they can be toggled to make simple shoes. I love that touch a lot.
I think that the corset looks a little awkward, but it might just be me. This is not me hating on it, though. It has a great composition with the rest of the stuff that goes with the set.
I hope everyone that wanted this set got it this year when it came back out again.

This is one of the other sets that is often not really considered a set by part of the community. I don't really remember this set too much either, but I do still like it.
I wish this collection/set would have gotten more attention and such.
It is still a nice set of items.

Darling Valentina was a set that is released during the Valentines event, as one would be able to tell by the name. I believe it was released last year, but I could be wrong. I am not too keen of this set myself, but I will say that I do still think that the set it very pretty.
I personally think the legs of this set look a little awkward, in placement, but that is just from my perspective. It might not even be awkward as it is slightly different placement than what I am usually used to.
I am not too keen on the skirt either, considering the shape of it, or even how it looks as its own larger version. Some of the smaller details on the skirt are nice, though.

This set was introduced to the Royale High community at the beginning of this month. A real fire into the first week of 2021. This set made by Vioncii was introduced with the New Years Party Realm.
This set was essentially given to us for free, save for some hunting we had to do to get the parts as a reward. I would still say it is nice of the Royale High team to spare our diamond reserves, considering what the next month of this year is.
The Popstar set is not my favorite set, but I do like that it can fit males, as well as there are active stars on the set (In which having active/animated items on a set as a pattern has not happened before) Or if it has happened before, it is very, very rare.
That factor alone helps the set to stand out among the rest.

The Shadow Empress was one of the most desired sets ever, and it is no real surprise as to why. I love most of this set. It looks amazing. However, I only really wanted the boots.
I don't have too many opinions on the set, but I do think that the community over-hyped it a little when trading first came out in order to charge extra during the trading experience.
Shadow Empress is worth the money though, in my opinion. I love it.

The last set I will be mini-reviewing is the Spring Cherry Blossom set. The first official set to be made for both the Male and Female body in Royale High (I think). This set was presented in April(?) of 2020 as Reddie (Developer) was first being introduced to the community as a new/newer dev at the time. (Correct me if I am wrong)
I loved the fan of the set, seeing as it is/was one of the few animated accessories that we have.
The set itself was pretty simple, but I think that is one of its strong points. It is more of a unique item because it is a very unique style of dress that is usually associated with Asia/Asian culture. Something unlike most of the other skirts and items in Royale High.

A lot of us want stuff that we cannot have. Either because we had no money and we need to wait another year for the item to come out again, or because the item was a limited edition that will likely not come back again.
A positive side to this community is that there area lot of people with these said items that are looking to get rid of them.
If you are lucky to find these people and able to get said item, it feels like an accomplishment within itself.
Many reasons why people don't have items they want is either because they joined the community of Roylae High after the event had already ended (With or Without the possibility of return) and they discover 'Hey, this person has a cool item, where can I get it?' just to find out it was a 'Legacy' item or that it will not be coming back for well over half a year.
The good side of this community is that there are people that you can trade with to get what you want. Or maybe just to get extra diamonds, which helps out your currency reserve.
Anther reason people have a hard time getting specific items is because they earn money at a slow rate, and they cannot get an item because it goes offsale before they can even get the amount of diamonds needed to pay for it.
There are good traders out there, and if you find the right one you will be able to get the item of your dreams.

The Downside to trading (Especially when trading was first released) was that it was extremely easy to scam people in the community.
Another downside was/is that people in the trading community have a tendency to inflate prices of items that are limited or off-sale because there will always be a chance someone is desperate to get said item. (Ex. Parasols, Items like Megan's Bear Ears, Bahia's Pacifier, Teddyzilla and a few more items)
Inflation is easy when people are impatient for items to come back to following year, or for super-rares. Halos are known for this kind of overpricing treatment, seeing as they are a 'Chance' item.

Not all of the trading community is bad. Just like not all of them are 'good' either. There are down sides and upsides to this community.
The scamming incidents became easy because the Royale High Development team were rushed/semi-rushed to get this feature out in Royale High so people could start trading as soon as possible. After it's release and the evident flaws being discovered, a lot of the community was angry at how easy it was to scam other people.
The next update for the trading up, which took place during the Summer event of 2020 (I think) trading was updated.
A good amount of the community was a bit upset about this too, seeing as a lot of people viewed it as a "Waste of Time''. The current trading situation is that it is even harder to scam. This s because you need to wait 30 seconds for the timer to let you accept a trade, in case someone wants to back out of it.
Another thing that is relatively looked down on related to trading is cross trading.

The Fountain of Dreams is a lovely fountain, in my opinion. I like being able to read other people stories that are used for the fountain. I still think it is creative. Often times, reading the story is admittedly more fun than the ending unless you are really lucky. However, it is still fun.
People have a bittersweet relationship with the fountain/s because the possibilities are ample. Losing diamonds is never fun. Gaining nothing makes you feel bad, but at least you didn't lose anything. Gaining XP usually feels useless to most, but I think it is helpful. Gaining diamonds has a varied outcome, considering a lot of Royale High players have high diamond reserves.
Gaining a halo usually feels like a blessing.
The main thing I appreciate about the fountain/s is their design. I love them so much.

The Spinning wheel located at Earth also has a bittersweet relationship with most players. However, this one is even more negative, from what I usually see people say on Twitter. I like the spinning wheel a lot, I usually don't get items, but I do get diamonds. It may not be much but at least it was more diamonds than I had before.
I also like the death option. It's funny watching the character just up and yeet out of the realm.

It should come as no surprise that ODers and Online Dating are a problem that are going to be mentioned on this list. After all, the world is a strange, and generally unsafe place. OnlineDaters are often not really known much about.
This often leads to a lot of un-trust and potential paranoia within the Royale High Role-Play community. Online Daters are not specific to any gender, or age. Sometimes it is harmless, and other times it is harmful.
There is no telling if the person behind the screen talking to you is a creep, looking to start 'grooming' minors, or if it is just a confused minor thinking that romance and dating are part of every high-school scenario.
In my personal opinion, it is best to avoid online dating, even if it is part of a Role-Play, because it can often lead to confrontation, and confusion, no matter the intention because someone is worried about the safety of another person. (Which is understandable)

A serious problem in the Royale High community lies with specific types of Role-Plays/Role-Players. These problems include those that refer to or even attempt Role-Playing acts of 'Self-H\*m'. As someone who says this based on experience, I request you to please not do this in Role-Plays, or even make insensitive jokes or jabs at these actions.*
Your pain is valid, and it is okay to seek help; but please do not try to call out for help in this way. Sometimes it can seriously effect other players in your server that have similar feelings and it can trigger unpleasant memories, or feelings because of something that happened in their own personal lives.
If you have these feelings, please, I ask you to contact the respective hotline. It can be scary, and you may even understandably feel trapped, but you are not alone.
For those of you who do not Role-Play this way on your own, but also have similar feelings or even experiences from potentially sensitive materials you see Role-Played in chat- the best thing you can do is block the account that is posting them. If you block the account, you will not see their messages in the chat or in their chat bubbles. Please do not confront them with the intention to bully them, or harass them to stop.
It is understandably an uncomfortable topic, but it is not worth is to make them to potentially make them feel worse themselves, or to discover that it is someone that is intentionally being insensitive.

Overall, people who don't have that in their names, and wear animal ears and tails usually get called furries (which, is inaccurate, and I will say why soon enough) - and characters that have that type of name/layout in their profile are misinformed about what they are cosplaying as. Not to mention- it is gross an inappropriate for the platform considering that Roblox is directed at MINORS.
Not everyone with SOME of these things in their name are 'Furries' either, because I have seen people make those excuses before when bullying someone for how they dressed their avatar, despite them not doing anything wrong.
Okay, so based on personal experiences, the 'Furry' stereotype is inaccurate to how a lot of actual furries act in public, especially in games meant for minors and young teens.
Guys- please- having animal-based ears and tails does NOT classify you- or anyone else as a furry. That would technically classify you as a 'Neko'. A 'Furry' is classified by having animal ears, tail/s and having a small to large percent of their body covered in fur, or some kind of animal skin.
The people who dress up with Ears and Tails in game that don't even have to be classified as 'Neko' they can literally just be identified as hybrids.
Is there anything wrong with being a 'Furry' or a 'Neko'? No. There is nothing wrong with being associated with those communities. The only time it is a problem is when people walk around making their character have 'ero' zones and other such things.
Remember, Royale High may have some older teenage players, and even some adults that enjoy it (that are respectable parts of the community) but it is still mainly a game aimed at an early to mid teens crowd.

The 'Smol Bean' community is a common one in Royale High. These characters that follow the common trop usually run around with (Character Name / Sad / Depressed / Don't talk to me) in their names. However, this is not all cases for this specific trope. Sometimes 'Smol Beans' are also seen as very rambunctious, and 'in-your-face' or ones to 'love invading your personal space'.
The trope, overall, can't really be socially disproved- seeing as being classified as a 'Smol Bean' is more of an uncommon thing than those who are in stuff such as 'Fur Communities' and whatnot.
While being a 'Smol-Bean' is not something that can really be 'disproved' in the Royale High based trope that is done by a lot of people- I personally think that people that like to be called 'Smol-Bean' and actually feel like one IRL are actually some of the friendliest.
While depression is a common thing that a lot of people fight against, it is not a defining personality trait. Tossing around stuff like 'Depressed' in your character description does also tend to make people upset (Understandably so) so it is best that it is avoided in my opinion.
Back on the subject of 'Smol-Beans' I do still think of them more as those who can be depressed in their personal lives, but are not the types to actually write that in their bio. They are usually the more goofy type, and they have a knack for making cute characters and usually display some childish, or child-like traits (Though that is not always the case).
People referring to something as being a 'bean' online usually means that they are referring to it as being 'cute' or 'wholesome'. That is what most people I know in the 'Smol-Bean' community are like- but that is just my own personal experience with them.

The 'Bad Boy/ Bad Girl' Trope is a little annoying, and it is often linked to someone being 'Edgy'. That being said, that is the main reason why I linked these two together like this.
People who try to follow the 'Bad Boy' or 'Bad Girl' trope usually put it in their names (Character Name / Bad Boy/Girl) plus more in their bio, if they want to get a little adventurous. Another thing that these people who try to follow 'Bad Boy/Bad Girl' tropes seem to get confused a lot is that these 'Bad Boy/Bad Girl' characters are bullies by default, which is not the case.
Most 'Bad Boy/ Bad Girl' characters, as identified in media such as movies, are identified as- "Bad Boys /Bad Girls are usually described as confident, brave, dominant and assertive. These traits give them a strong persona which indicates that they won't allow themselves to be pushed over by anyone."
Just because they are assertive, or dominant- that does not mean they are, well, mean. A lot of these characters are also seen to have soft spots- and a still generally polite personality. Being polite does not mean that you are a pushover.
Not all Bad Boys/ Bad Girls dress like greasers either. They also don't always dress in an 'edgy' manner. (Technically dressing in an edgy manner isn't REALLY a thing as far as I know- but it is viewed as one, so-)
As for people being called 'Edge Lords/Edge Ladies' for just wearing black, gray and/or red clothing is overdone, but it is still a thing- guys, youngin's- wearing dark clothing with red does not make someone 'edgy'. They could literally just be wearing it because they like the colors/shades or because they feel like it suits them better.
Falling under the 'Goth' , specific kinds of 'Grunge' and 'Punk' styles do not mean they are edgy either.

Guys, this one just makes me sad. The Femboy side of the community is drastically misrepresented and it is either... sickening.. honestly. Especially based on assumptions that those who are not familiar with femboys make based on characters the see people running around with in Royale High.
First, the clarify- Femboys USUALLY are not classified as Transgender (if classified as Transgender at all). Femboys also do not ALWAYS go out dressed in clothes that scream 'UwU' 'Pink Sparkling Rainbows' and other such over-dramatized tropes.
First, I will say that Femboys CAN wear dresses and skirts. I am not saying that representing them in dresses or skirts is inaccurate, because some of them do like to wear dresses and skirts. However, what I am saying is that Femboys don't always have to be represented in this manner.
Femboys can easily be represented by wearing, well, common clothing. Believe it or not, they do wear jeans, and jackets. Other clothing choices that people making femboy oc's should consider is giving them something more simple, like crop-tops, skorts, and other subtle clothing. (These, of course, are only secondary options. You CAN put femboy ocs into dresses. There is no problem with that. Just don't make it look so... forced? A lot of people make femboy ocs look very over-dramatized in appearance like loads of unpleasant makeup for no real reason, and the characters constantly being displayed as 'no-no zone flustered'.)

This one is going to be short. I only brought this up because I have seen some instances related to this trope itself. Just because someone dresses like a troll, and does light trolling- it does not mean they are a person out to get you. It does not mean they are mean and 'evil'.
For most 'Troll' tropes it is both what they dress like- and what assumptions of people on them are, rather than the trolling end of the parties name and other character details (if any at all). Trolls are usually just hated because of people having bad experiences with the not-over-dramatically-dressed hateful trolls.
Trolls in Royale High are usually people that dress in out-there and ridiculous clothing and go all-out on many instances of socialization.
This can generally be a group of people that run up to random players asking 'Mother, is that you' or saying something dorky and random- such as "I stole your crocs, Joseph." when the character's name is clearly something completely different.
These characters are usually quite friendly, actually. They just want to get a good laugh by confusing the heck out of other people, or finding amusing people like themselves that they can vibe with.
Some other trolls also do trolling in hopes of making someone else laugh, just as a means of cheering other people up if they feel that they are down, or in a bad mood. It usually backfires, but they still try anyway.

I see a lot of drama surrounding this one specifically on Twitter, and it confuses me- however, I am not hating on people that this annoys-
There are people that get angry over people that use emoticons after they say something such as someone telling a joke and putting ':P' at the end of their comment. Or someone saying ':3' when someone says thank you to them.
This trope itself is not really a dressing trope, or even a name trope- this is just some category of people that make other people mad for something.
People who complain about others using the emoticon faces are often the same kind of people who spam emoji's in text messages, which kind of makes it feel hypocritical to me, in my opinion. (This, of course, is not always the case, but it does seem to happen a lot.)
These kinds of players seem to say 'stop using those faces' or something along those lines on Twitter, or even in game. Though they know it won't really do much.
People who hate stuff like this seem to come to the conclusion that people who use these emoticons are trying to be 'cute' 'annoying' or even 'flirty' all the time. This also seems to lead to thoughts that these people who use said emoticons are just overall unable to present maturity, which has always confused me.
(Because this issue or problem is usually only something that is viewed in the eyes of the beholder, I will not say much more about it. If you are one of these people, or share the opinions as someone with these qualities, I am open to hear about why it makes you annoyed or upset.)

Alright, I say this one based on experience. A lot of people that Role-Play as rich brats generally have name that range from (Character Name / Rich) to longer and more complicated or confusing ones. These may include (Character Name / Rich / Smart / Mean Girl / ect ) Usually the Rich Brat trope characters are represented in specific ways. Much like anything else on this list.
The 'Rich Brat' for some reason, is often represented as a blonde character (TYPICALLY female) these characters are often times represented as being the kind to walk around in clothing that is bought from shop such as heels, and skirts. (Which is understandable in a sense of how much diamonds Royale High Accessories and Items cost, but still overdone.)
Another small, but common thing that I see people display rich people like is verbal tropes and action tropes. They often Role-Play in a manner where the character that is Rich or Spoiled Use the word 'Like' a lot as well as getting on their phone a lot.
(For this kind of trope, it is not always inaccurate, considering how spoiled kids are usually represented in movies. However, people do get tired of the trope, so I suppose I might as well have talked about it anyways.)
The 'Mean Girl' trope is similar to this one, but overall, the only thing that USUALLY changes is the shift in the pro-dominant trait represented in a characters personality. It usually shifts from somewhere along the lines of 'Air-Head/Temper Tantrum/Rude' (Rich/Spoiled) to 'Actual Bully/Gossip/Family Problems' (Mean Girl)
I don't know how other people have experienced this trope, considering it seems to be more broad- but that is just my experiences with these types of Role-Players.

This one just applies to a lot of people that think that the Female/Girl ROBLOX body and the Male/Boy ROBLOX bodies identify what someone's preferred character gender is.
I personally have a lot of feminine characters that use the ROBLOX boy body because they are what I feel like emotionally and physically (Most of the time). Often times, though, people question the female OC's with ROBLOX Boy bodies more than they question male OC's with ROBLOX Girl bodies.
Another source of constant-questioning comes from people who use the Thigh High Ice Princess Boots for Male characters because heels and thigh-highs are labelled as 'female' items.
((This is where I say that I personally believe that people can wear whatever they want in Royale High, as long as they are not trying to be mean or intentionally hurtful or demeaning toward certain people, or other specific topics that I will not discuss here. As well as age-appropriate, because that is still important. It does not matter if you are male, female or other genders that you prefer to identify as. If you wanna wear a corset, wear it. If you wanna strut your stuff with thigh high heels, go for it.))
((As for people that do not like the idea of people of specific genders doing these specific things- that is fine. You are allowed to have your own opinions and views on certain things. You do not need to like their choices, but I believe these choices should still be respected to the best of your ability, even if it is difficult.))
((To the people of the community that are on the receiving end of someone saying that they do not like something- such as a male wearing a corset- please try to consider what the person saying the message means. Some users that 'do not agree' with male characters wearing corsets are not saying it to attack someone. It just makes them personally uncomfortable. There are a lot of people out there that get uncomfortable when seeing a male in a corset or heels (just for example) and they are not mean about it. They still do their best to respect or at least not be upset about other people's preferences for attire. I see people attack people like this all the time, saying that being uncomfortable with it is wrong, which is not a good message to spread. People getting attacked for having these 'generally neutral' feelings toward a topic that makes them uncomfortable usually only makes them even more uncomfortable with it. That can lead to someone going from 'uncomfortable but accepting' to 'completely against it' just because of experiences with people that target and attack them for sharing a usually harmless and generally non-demeaning opinion.))
((If someone is actually being mean about a subject and not saying that they are uncomfortable with something, but saying that it is wrong, or even gross- that is not a good time to attack them either. Attacking someone for voicing their opinion of something is a common thing in the community- and I hope it stops. If someone has an opinion you do not agree with- or specifically something to say that is rotten- please just ignore them. It is not worth it to attack them just to prove your point.))

The Royale High Twitter Community, or RHTC is a pretty fun place to hang out when you are a Twitter user, and have nothing else to do. There are a lot of positive players online, and overall friendly people that are more than ready to support each other.
The RHTC is home to events and other such things such as fan creations, funny stories, odd instances, and goofy screenshots as well as developer appreciation, and influencer appreciation. There are also a lot of instances that depict 'Tea' or 'Sneak Peeks' for the community, which is a fun tidbit to gain every once in a while.
People in the RHTC are usually very strongly opinionated and compassionate, which is not a bad thing (Though this is also not always a good thing either, depending on how it is utilized).
Another positive side of the RHTC is that you can find people for trading purposes that you would have likely not been able to find in the game if you just play the game itself. The community is fairly positive, and overall it is a lot of fun to just look through what people have to say, or have done.

Every rose has it's thorns, and thorns hurt. Not every part of the RHTC is bad, and most thing can be taken one of several ways, especially if there is a very concerning or debated topic at hand.
There are also a lot of scammers in the community that know how to effective trick someone without seeming to get caught, or not being able to be caught until way later if at all. These people do not define the community, and they should not be one of the reasons the community gets viewed as negatively as it does sometimes. That, however, does not change the fact that sadly, it is another part of life, and it could happen to anyone.
Arguments are started in the RHTC frequently because of people feeling strongly in reference to certain topics and other people with strong opinions either disagreeing or agreeing with them. It is not bad to have negative opinions on something, as I have said before. The only real problem with these negative opinions is that they do not always get conveyed in a respectable, mature way and it leads to a lot of unfriendly confrontation between fellow users, and sometimes even trolls, or people that barely linger in the RHTC community.
There are other less-considered problems that are present in the community, but the couple of things I talked about are some of the bigger 'problems' that often get the RHTC looked down on by either the RHTC itself, or people that know about it, but remain on the outside to prevent themselves from being likely to end up in certain situations.

I was considering avoiding this one, but I do think I should attempt to address it.
I do NOT think that the RHTC is a toxic place.
The RHTC has a negative reputation, and often gets called 'Toxic' because of events and things that are known to happen in the community. While it is understandable that people may feel this way about the RHTC, I do not think it is the community itself that is toxic, but it is easier to track down really 'toxic' events.
Think of the RHTC as a place that is a communal personification of 'Gossiping'. It is not a pleasant thing to envision, but it is the closest related thing I could think of that could be somewhat accurate.
In the act of 'Gossiping' it is likely that people are more intent on gossiping about someone in the school going and stealing from the principals desk than it is likely for someone to gossip about someone having nice hair. If the nicer thing is gossiped about, it usually leaves less of an impression on a community than something negative does.
The unpleasant topics in the RHTC spread like wildfire when they are being heavily debated within large groups or multitudes of posts. It, in a sense, follows the sense or logistics of 'trending'. There is more participation based on that particular topic, hence forth it is easier to find something related to it.
I personally think that is why the more negative side of the community can make such an impression on people- because, in the end, it is usually easier to find stuff like that in a post feed.
Another factor is this- one sum of the community does not make up the entirety of it. Calling the RHTC completely toxic would be, in my opinion, rather inaccurate. Whereas there is the toxicity that people talk about- referring to everyone as being toxic when a majority of the nicer people don't have large sums of connections is almost similar to referring to every piece of clothing in a clothing line being 'bad' or 'useless' because the material they used in those few shirts is uncomfortable when the rest of the shirts in the collection are different in style, and comfort based on the beholder.

I have been using Visual Studio Code for over two years as the chief editor of the code. I used to work with Sublime Text, which was amazing software (especially Notepad ++), but guys at Microsoft always do an amazing job of making your editor better out there, and your monthly update shows how dedicated you are to improving it. So this was my editor of choice, but a good editor would not be without good extensions. I've made a list of my 10 favorite (plus a few more) extensions I couldn't live without. They greatly facilitate my daily work and allow me to save so much time in the long run. Here you are (in a special order): The VS code provides a small color preview window in CSS files. Color information gives you a much better idea of ​​the color your mouse points to, along with CMYK or alpha values. It can even act as a color picker, which is very convenient. Yo-kai Watch is great, I love it, but I feel like that the 'rare' Yo-kai are simply palette swaps and most Yo-kai are barely rememberable. I feel like we can take an idea from another series to help with that.
First, recruitment shouldn't be just recruited by feeding them food. I think that at one point, if a Yo-kai gets hit by a crit, a Yo-kai would be dizzy giving the player a chance to recruit them.
Just like Shin Megami Tensei, you can recruit demons by talking to them, so why not have the same. Knowing how a Yo-kai is can help with talking to them. So a sensitive Yo-kai may need to be talked to gently, but stubborn Yo-kai might need you to try and get them to join by standing your ground.
They'll have various emotions at the end of the conversation that have different effects. If angered, they'll be enraged and become stronger, if happy, they'll ask for food, so, for example, a Jibanyan might ask for a Chocobar, but if you get a better Chocobar to offer to the Jibanyan, it'll most likely join you, their rank, personality, and mood will affect their probability of joining. If they're upset, they'll leave the battle giving you half the EXP you would normally get from the fight. If they're infatuated, they'll automatically join the team, this is rare, though, but still possible.
Certain Yo-kai on your team can try and convince the opponents, whether it be Roughraff threatening a weaker Yo-kai, or a Sargent Burly hyping up a lazy Yo-kai.
Also, Rare Yo-kai will get more of a difference, so B3NK-1 being a pallet swap and 'saying' he's robotic, he'll have a Benkei face, but it occasionally gets static and switches to emoticons sometimes. He'll also have screws, other obvious robotic features, and a robotic voice. This would encourage Level 5 to make more original Yo-kai with personalities instead of pallets and lower ranked Yo-kai being ignored and obsolete after one boss fight. Thank you for coming to my Yo-kai Talk, I had nothing better to do so I did this. I also want some feedback to improve on the idea.

2019.03.20 08:08 KGB_for_everyone Evolution of Fortnite. A bit of a guide.

Basically a guide (?), which i made. Can't test a lot of things due to high ping (~100) and in general a fair amount of this should be unknown/not used as far as i have seen. Not a TTV'eYTer, so unfortunately u would have to read until people make clips off it, if its useful that is. Text by itself should not be hard to understand though.
Human sticky bomb is broken with damage through builds, but if its fixed, other stuff should be quite strong as well.
1) human sticky bomb - standard/direct and throwing from sky to teammate (potential for double sticky human bomb, but have to be careful not to kill urself and have 2 directions each where teammate and u go , for ex player 1 - south+west, player 2 - east+north following builds).
Sky throw - look directly up, throw clinger, it lands within a tile radius of your model. Best chaining method is 2 sky probably and 1 normal.
Additionally can pretend to just build up on peoples heads, chill for a bit and then do the "sticky bomb" play. Metal might be too hard to get through, brick and wood should be fine though. Natural reaction for people when they hear stickies is to either run out and build (fresh builds, easy to break even with 1 clinger stuck to u) or edit down, which still resets hp. Its important to choose a "correct target", the one which does not have an insane tunnelling/expanded base and u have no idea where they they might run out to.
Also possible for solo pressure- throw to sky 2-3 depending on material, start spraying the wall?
Another possibility is quadcrasher bomb in duos, build wall/turtle next to some team with crasher and 1 guy sits in drivers seat (for boost to get through walls), the other one throws stickies to sky as usual + perhaps time sticky with normal throw. Needs experimenting, but should not be that hard to figure out timings. (People do not expect quads to rush at them either, thats nutty play, they expect rotations, yet here u are, with 2-3 stickies on top of your head/quad). Potentially very strong, due to ability to break builds = meaning sticky AOE explosion can directly hit people turtling. (Perhaps horn can reduce sound of clingers as well? or just troll people with it/roleplay Final Destination).
Drift board also might work, u can't break builds, but u can shoot while on it (and if u have heavy sniper u can just bust through kool aid style ~_~). Downside is getting off drift board is not instant. Also can be done with dynamite throw from teammate, to bust through more or less guarantee, but feel like need specific range for that). Driftboard have more range caz of flip mechanic, but you are farther from teammate so way more risk in case of failure. Still could be fun, for u that is.
Hamster ball probably also would work, but u might need to build a wall behind or something for pinball effect. Needs more experimenting, but u can sticky the ball so nothing to stop u there.
also situational human cannon ball sticky bomb perhaps with duo partner? pre aim coordinates with cannon, throw stickies, get in cannon, launch teammate to break builds and do dmg.
Potentially can be done with glider redeploy/launch pad as well (launch pad would need edited structures, to force your glider opening lower obviously), "bombs away" and all that stuff, but needs to test timings and dont fget vertical+ normal throws for max payload.
Last one is a bit of a meme, but still perhaps its possible in duos, 1 player has rift and runs towards bois to rift them with u, your teammate clingers u, they get rifted and exploded perhaps in the air ? (not sure if there is instance of invulnerability when u get rifted first, still there should be a window when u can follow enemies even if there is).
Just potential 1000 IQ play. rifter needs to be near people obviously, so perhaps same usual sky+normal throws 2 clingers should suffice, since u cant build in air and people get sucked with you. can be done at any point in game, but sickest looking would be endgame or just when there are a ton of people around u for max exposure.
Potential 200 IQ play as well - sticky an editable surface (pyramid/floor) so its start to tick, edit down so it falls on someones head. Perhaps applicable for highground vs lowground 1v1 late game, safe sticky throw. Might also work with duos as a budget c4 as well (along the lines of double stickies to sky from 2 people, edit structure). Might even work surprisingly well in solos.
Until this catches on, there is a possibility to "fake" being clingered and drop clingers on top of turtle below u probably?
*Generally speaking, quick split of clingers/dynamite between 2 people on something non-essential would be good to practise, since u usually try to get a full loadout, but if u build up upon someone &want them gone, then quick drop/swap of items on smtn non essential might be worth practising for a bit. Even milliseconds matter, not to mention seconds :/
2) juggling dynamite ownership test? (does dynamite change ownership upon pickup? not sure) Dynamite bomb perhaps with teammates dynamite in hand if possible to hold? as well as budget c4 with sky throws + mbe double dynamite timings for shitty c4 wanna be? (both people fuse at the same time and throw when its about to run out if people don't move) (if they want to go high, mr savage special or just spray at them as well?)
Probably best/most efficient course of action is build up a little above the turtle, which does not have many layers, throw 2 in the sky on the turtle, and simultaneously fuse another 2 for "budget c4" wanna be, if they ran in different directions, follow 1 guy with dynamite and focus him. Worst case scenario u can just take ownership of 1 or 2 walls for easy pump/damage/kill. Requires a good bit of practice in timings i think, but its entirely doable. Or just do the simple "c4 looking ass".
Marginal/meme - Might be crazy, but perhaps there is a level of elevation at which dynamite fuse is not heard and u can throw it from height, so it lands and almost insta explodes? This is quite a stretch, but should be easy to check as well, if it works u might need redeploy/driftboard to jump on or smtn, to start spraying/W'keying. Honestly not worth probably, but still might be doable, if sound cuts off at like 6-7-8 level.
Last i think its possible to do the same play with dynamite and rift as with clingers (aka rift bomb, managed to kill myself twice without really trying to time it at all, just rift and pickup thrown dynamite). If not kill - then 70 dmg trade might be good enough if they are low or smtn. Can be done even when solo ofc with own dynamite/rift, but no follow up if no partner. (assuming no instance of invul during rift that is)
3)Even though Vendings got changed, doesn't mean that there won't be any similar point of interest in the future or perhaps reverted changes.
vending leveling with pyramids, 1x1s with ramps hiding or pyramids inside. Sitting on the roof, sitting inside 1x1 pyramid, sitting in pyramid next to vending. Faking/imitating "safe" vending by building ramp above pyramids and making small bridge+potentially breaking wall of 1x1 which "hides" vending. If ground is flat, just extra 5-10 pyramids of brick/metal potentially wastes other people mats/ammo/time and makes them apprehensive (perhaps even giving away their position). Maybe sit in a bush next to pyramids, u never know what might come in handy.
Hiding vendings in brick/metal 1x1 or even lack of them in general is good, because it wastes other people time and any vending potentially can be a life-saver for your opponent. u don't know what he has and has not? maybe he has grey tac, maybe he has no shotty or no AR or 10 hp and bandages are heavens gift or a trap that can kill u late game randomly while u are rotating.
Even though vendings got changed, it still means that a person who rotated near vending, selected something which could be good or bad for your loadout. This is why u still might pull off "hiding play" against someone who is searching to fill up the slot and also why u should take the most useless item in vending possible if u are hiding and abandoning it inside 1x1. If u are baiting, then "baiting tactics" are applicable as described above and below to an extent.
4) big/giant glider with lots of effects + contrail + matching skin color palette wise. Makes u hard to distinguish between player model and glider, obv useless against controller players, but overwhelming majority are pc, so u can potentially test it in several pop-up cups to see how much betteworse getting beamed out of the sky is? Even in creative to find a bunch of skins/gliders that makes u harder to hit. If it doesn't work - no big deal, back to old stuff. Can be tested in creative as well, as part of beaming out of the sky routine as described below.
5) edited brick/metal pyramids inside any buildings (doritos or triangleish looking ass?). People rotate inside to "replace/scavenge", u sit in one of the sneaky pyramids, maybe even fake an earlier fight and bring a bit of mats/guns from house to specific location to bait into false sense of security, then edit, kill. Alternatively make it look like u healed inside pyramid and left, with edited corner, maybe even leave bandages near loot pile or smtn, anything that makes it convincing (and u can still hide in another pyramid or edited pyramid/ramp or fake double edits of ramp/wall so that the person cant build wall fast enough to protect himself.
Can be used as an escape tool if u are low as well, place several inside, hide in one of them. brick if speed is the most important obv. Be careful with stuff/textures phasing through floors/pyras/walls, depending on the skin, pickaxe, your position etc, experiment and see which angles are most "safe"). Biggest application is probably Tilted/Any POI with houses in zone.
6) hiding good loot in 2nd pile under pyra's, apart from main one (or level above if there are some extra mats, basically anything good- u want to separate from the main loot pile, caz people can be shambles or want upgrades on their rotation). If u have time that is and know people are gonna rotate through general area u basically want to deny them anything good, inlcluding mats.
7) theoretical pyramid/ramp edits to throw people off if they have no mats and hold u, or just in general "unexpected situation with fast edit to surprise opponent and throw his aim/expectation off". generally speaking normal pyramids are not super useful unless u are highground/build battling someone, but pre-edited corner, can potentially help u in CQC fights against desperate/no mats guys + its super easy to reset + they still can protect overhead , depending on the edit. U need to visualize a bunch of scenarios when people are holding u and try a bunch of pre-edits to counter that.
8) if someone's wkeyeing u and u have trap and want to box up, place floors around your potential 1x1 or even roof floors, for potential trap kill, its unlikely that someone is going to bother replacing floors/roofs and u can an edit/place trap play. Depending on the guy obviously, but anyone competent would at least try to isolate the fight by walling his sides, but he might neglect floor below his feet or above his head. might be quite unexpected if he is trying to replace your pyramid, u make double edit, place trap above his head and own his floor for example, so he can only go to the side, assuming he can react in time that is, its entirely possible to do it without ramp in your 1x1, by simply standing on floors, but easier with pyramid.
9) budget rotation with edited pyra corner +resets/re-edits? alternatively simply replace ramp with pyramid turned into ramp to protect sides and overhead, then when done rotating reset ? its double edged sword kind a, from 1 side u can see a lot more, from another people might want to drop on u or maybe even try to trap u (u do save mats though, so thats good obv; if someone tries to trap u, u can just edit out, since u own at least 2 sides). depending where people are u can prolly go as low as floor + edited corner pyramid/ramp and fast resets with mwheel to rotate, and if backwards just edit, re-set if u want, but feels like its way riskier.
Also diagonal is probably possible as well and depending on surroundings obviously might need to adjust and go more "orthodox way".
Pyramid pre-edited into ramp + wall + floor = budget Bizzle tunnel, aka 30 mats + ability to look through pyramid to take free shots if u can. 10 tiles traversed = 100 mats saved. To shoot down need to break 2 things, u can connect to other builds obviously assuming anyone bothers that is. Still in PoP-up cup meta, i feel like this should become way more widespread.
10) anti-Rpg building in case guy highground has RPG and u have low mats - use pyramid/floors + pre-edited pyramids to protect urself from rocket and save mats. need to test breaking pyramid as well, if timing is right and u can negate that explosion instance before it breaks (but its marginal and prolly better to just sit in pyramid, edit corners or even doritoes looking ass). Seems to be possible even on my ping though and somewhat consistently if u time it right, so u kind a mini freeze in the air for split second, which should grant protection during explosion in theory?
"Breaking pyramid" is a normal pyramid placed - when enemy shoot RPG around u (as is usually the case with highground vs lowground) and u have no opportunity to run to storm (low hp for example) and almost no mats to box yourself up, place normal pyramid, edit 3 corners so its break upon confirming edit, jump in the middle of it when rocket is about to explode and confirm. This small instance should negate splash damage around u in theory. Extremely unlikely to be useful because of the number of conditions needed for it to work (being 1-2 tick, so u can't run to storm/hide, having 10 mats and having terrain good enough).
If u have more mats, then just floopyramid to protect is better than boxing matwise that is
11)More of a situational tournament play, but could be pulled off depending how bus went and how many people jumped. (value of the play rises in tournament, because everything is looted more or less and if u are in deep shit, u might want to pull this one, assuming your positioning in regards to circle is good enough).
making a ramp to any big tree and breaking it/ballooning/drifting, thus sitting and hiding in leaves. Applicable if u are in shambles and u know people are gonna rotate where trees are or want to farm them (people do not avoid trees, they rather have tendency to want to farm errything, so potentially its easy 100+ damage if u want to drop on their head. Could be super deadly if u are a console player, caz well, u know :/). Also should be mentioned that u might want to get a good skin combo for that and in general perhaps take glances at trees more, might be paranoid, but it would not surprise me if its more common in the future. People already landed on trees in divot/wailing endings, this is just a natural evolution, especially when u have bad load out but good position in regards to circle/rotating people.
Also can be done with medium pine trees, but u need suspicious looking pyramids or floors built into trees, to hide well. Again, can imitate someone ramp pushing someone or whatever. General idea is still - zone is lets say Fatal, people would want to claim 2 small forests near it and build/farm up = guaranteed potential targets. Alternative is someone fought/pushed someone and u need to sort a "recreate a crime scene", build some walls (maybe even damage them), get some loot.
One of the best things to bait people with is something that hinders their ability to protect themselves via building i.e Quads/Drifts boards or empty OPEN 1x1 where u can easily see nothing or no one is there, besides loot. (should be careful with legendary pumps, might want to shoot bullets out or smtn) Dont fget that falling on drift board from any height negates all fall damage, so u might straight drop on some poor soul ~_~
Might want to build things with brick or metal, if u want to sit in medium trees or camping launch pads, in case people are assholes and would want to break it on their rotate for some reason? Just a thought.
Lastly i wanted to repeat yet again, this is a conditional thingy aka u should ask yourselves several key questions, before making it : Am i in shambles and have no chances of placing well/killing anyone/third partying/getting any decent loot anywhere? Do i have something that look either attractive in my vicinity or something i can sacrifice without putting myself into an even worse situation (example u have 3 launch pads looted, but no shield or meds -> sacrifice launch pad to provoke "free rotates users" to get kills or meds, if successful, u have 2 launch pads + a kill + what the guy dropped; also repeatable as in there could be several lovers of free stuff).
Probably also good spots are places with shrooms/apples, even late game zone in like lonely lodge or divot could be "an opportunity".
12)With changes to vendings kind a obsolete, but still:
abuse 12 stinks from vendings or double GL's (in duos 4 gls = probably 2 teams insta dead unless they have either solid flat ground and SUPER AWARE of the possibility of the play, so that they can spam pyramid on floor). Overwhelming majority would not be expecting it at all and even if u kind a not get what u really wanted (rifts, launch pads, meds mbe), u can just switch empty-low ammo gl on the stuff u scavenge from bodies. (decent load out is prolly 2 gls, shotgun, AR and med/rift/whatever is valuable at the time). If there is a sick vending AND a circle on top of u, u need to camp it and bring as much material for sick vending as possible (imagine vending with 2 gl's in rotation or 2 stinks or clingers, simply spam people getting close to your vending, kill them, take their shit, rince repeat). Might also search for flat ground if it gets popularized for your turtles against double GLs, caz otherwise unless u sit in a cone all the time inside turtle, u have very little time to react (assuming u even can react that is) to spam pyramid to save your ass. Its also good idea in general if u are getting spammed, u can protect yourself by turbobuilding cone and save mats (need testing and good ping + potential of infinite scroll wheel could be even better).
13) an alternative version of #5 -> If u find a piece of something good/valuable that others might want too (epic pump, scagolden ak/minis) and u don't need it, but might need something from other people - u might want to camp it. If possible - use doritoes/triangle pyramids, or ramps to the wall, if not search for opportunities nearby like a bush.
Essentially u can either imitate long range snipe/kill from afar, which could not be looted (then u need to drop a bit of ammo and mats all around, couple guns is good as well so it looks like an attractive loot pile). Or make it look like u looted what u wanted (so no extra ammo, traps and shit like that) and just left with your loadout. Its crucial to be aware of your surroundings in this case, if possible use natural covers, maybe its broken house where u can hide, or small watch tower and u can chill at 2nd floor and drop on the head of the scavenger. What u want is - people who are gonna rotate through that area for sure and can SEE it from afar, something that is worth their time. Obviously a risky play, but sometimes u just have no meds or mobility at all and in no position to fight, but can ambush successfully to get their shit
14) marginal hiding behind/under yellow shit while phasing. Bit of an alternative to natural hiding spots/bushes/pyramids. Can either imitate small fight (damage some structures, where u are not exposed, but kind a "left traces of the fight" or just small 1x1 who got Wkeyed and loot fell to the ground/got sniped. I guess super convincing looking is launch pad placed, but u have to be willing to "sacrifice" it. (still can be worth if u have no meds or in a very bad spot, u can bait launch pad use from all people "loving free rotate/recycles" and get their shit). Also applicable to sitting inside trees, launch pad placed near some trees is more likely than not is going to be "recycled for better positioning/save mats", which is exactly what u want.
15) duo mostly strat, if u get zone and want height and keep it, 1 guy build with metal the usual 1x1s, the other edited pyramid into ramp and connect across a tile (can be a bit reinforced as well from the front, to not get shot while building it). Saves mats basically even if u get RPGd and metal is valuable. (20 mats per level instead of 50, and by connecting to main build its not easy to break either if u do it in a couple of spots).
Looks something like this - X blank tile space across which u connect to X,Y being edited pyramid build-up. Anti splodes basically to save as much metal as possible, not hard to understand.
16) tfue classic+mything self abomination for possible ramp tunnel and just as a safer ramp rotation peek? (perhaps super late game is also a possibility to peek shoot at an angle safely? Anything to keep exposure to lowground warriors to minimum? if u have low hp or smtn).
The way its done is: run up the ramp, about halfway up jump and reverse it as is usually done when u ramp over someone, it should myth u backwards giving a safer peek instead of staring at the other guy. Pretty easy to execute tbh, maybe not that useful though. Bit of testing never hurts anyways to brighten the days of grind.
17) rotation with balloon+driftboard and 2 potential silent bombs with quad or drift board, if u either have balloons or a single balloon (more risk, if u are noticed and get shot at balloon = u die almost always) and launch yourself high + notice a guy somewhere under your flying path, u can jump off quad/drift board and land on his head silently since balloons have no sound almost more or less. should be careful of releasing balloon early btw, since there are weird interactions of 10 stores high 1 balloon no death etc, don't be a Myth basically. (lets say u have balloon in your inventory for some reason, empty slot or whatever and u notice the guy rotating under u directly, u can drop off quad/drift board and even release balloon, but u NEED to pull it before 10 stores high mark, otherwise u fall to your death). Needs obvious testing/getting used to, but potential is there (silently descend on someones ass and laseshotgun him).
Minor things :
*test crouchwalk old school counter-strike style with mwheel binds + ctrl spam, if have infinite mwheel test it as well. interesting what might happen to model? shoot it if possible, kind a like a bloom 50/50 fight or smtn. (also interesting what happens to model, if while jumping u press crouch in air, does hitbox change?)
*test if emoting/ads abuse still works? p2w emoticons, esp end game for crazy angle shots? (no ruleset for world qualifiers, probably will be banned if its several stages, so likelihood of final stage qualis having "no exploit" rule is high, but its Epic u never know :/ ) + if there is no such rule for initial qualifiers, then u can abuse it for cheap peeks/taking weird angle in fights.
*probably won't work (it did not worked for me at least on my ping), but perhaps mousewheel for zoom+fire bind or smtn, for quickscope for some weapons? might be ping dependent or might not work at all.
*theory of bloom not existing? or significantly less than we think (perhaps exact spread is just small red hit hitbox thingy which has constant pattern or some of them?), perhaps its pattern oriented and u can see it in slow motion/high speed camera/very slow replay or smtn. case in point - cia.gov, tacosmacker and in general if u try to spray at even bots from afar, u can kind a see/feel some sort of patterns :/ I don't really know how aimbot works, but if bloom is really random, then how the hell do they headshot u all the time? dunno , mbe placebo though. or bot hitboxes are just fucked completely (they have hitboxes between legs, head hitbox bigger than model etc).
Still think that there is something wrong with silenced scar though, it performs way better than its supposed to feels like. (maybe i'm just mental though, but running a bit in pubs with it and testing different shooting methods should not be that hard or time consuming).
*u can improve your shooting people out of the air (besides kovaaks that is), by having either a teammate launchpading/rifting and cranking spacebar as hard as he can or just a random guy/viewer or smtn, he does what your teammate is supposed to do in exchange for whatever u want to reward him with (play squads with him or several people at once, so u can rotate several people or train tracking of several rifters/launch padders at once; 10 min of 1v1 pg per 30-60 min or smtn amount of rifting/launchpadding/quading/driftboarding; or just $). It should not be that hard to make a creative map with lots of launch pads or rifts either probably to simulate end-game scenarios that is. Saves your teammates time, so he too can train at same pace as u or even do it as a duo, to coordinate better ingame -_-
*marginal, but perhaps since sound in this game is "subpar" to say the least, the org might hire someone with musical hearing/graduate of music arts school or smtn, with knowledge of equalizer, with the goal of finding optimal (or several of them) presets to distinguish most important sounds for competitive players - footsteps, sound of your shit breaking etc. Should not be that expensive esp for broke in debt students/graduates :D Dunno, just a thought, maybe its not a problem for players.

i Feel like its ok, but still could be improved by someone who has actually good hearing and knowledge of Equalizer and whatnot.
*what is the mechanic of storm surge? does taking storm damage counts as damaging, walking on lava? how about shooting quads/cannons/driftboard/player structures/hamster balls? using a cannon to damage structure? how about taking fall damage or even sploding/stinking yourself, might have some weird interactions from programming perspective, no real harm in testing i think during any of the customs which have it on.
*can u clinger a cannoball? it should have hitboxes theoretically and could be even better sticky bomb with no person required ? (pretty sure it has hitboxes)
*do traps placed near rifts or launch pads really work or is everyone just wasting their time shooting at them? (for jump pads if u jump from above, u can just completely ignore them; for side jump in, u should not go further than mid of the launch pad, otherwise u get hit).
*Turret highground to shoot at rifters/launch-padders if u got zone in duos or just have ultimate height and know lots of people gonna rift (better than throwing it away imho) Probably way better if u have RPG, to deny people who love retaking height. Also guy on a turret can be stupid high if he has re-deploy and teammate can go down a lot (stupid height can save mats probably that way building out and re-deploy downwards if things not go as planned). IF people Dive past Turret, u can laser from above, if they try to land on u, jump down and shoot out stupid height. Just a theoretical play, maybe it works, maybe don't.
*super late game last circle clinger play to throw to sky if u are low ground (or even high might be good with clingering and editing structures to drop down shit safely without exposing yourself at all) and then pressure to build? Guy high might not notice clinger, which can land on his head. highly unlikely obviously, but perhaps can negate visibility if take a dip in the storm? (also test if emoting negates sound of clinger for other party , depending on volume/emote?)
*potentially in turtle and CQC wars pre-edited pyramids in different shapes might be quite good, needs lots of trial and error (depending on shape and situation). They might obstruct vision more, throw off aim due to "unusualness" of situation, easy to reset with mousewheel to standard shape for normal building and have potential to block shots/provide beneficial angles? Ramps can be very good as well in different than normal shapes (U, weird stairs etc), but they should require more mechanical skill, more actions per minute and more awareness in general, because after the fight u need to reset it and turn (also a bit harder to pre-edit compared to pyramids, but perhaps can be overcome with practice as is usually the case )
*edited corner pyramid during chops and in general cqc probably is OP, because it reduces your effective exposure compared to the enemy and has potential to provide right hand peek real quick and dip back to cover. You can stand inside "phased" corner edited pyramid, take a shot and quickly dip to solidify it. Then u have potential to re-edit or do whatever really.
*generally speaking, if u are very low mats and edge zone, u should stop building at some arbitrary mark (5-7-10-12 builds left), because if u waste all of them, u become extremely predictable and cant protect yourself (storm dips from enemies, RPG, build up etc). Only time when its ok is probably if u are very close placement points, so living extra 2-5 seconds is important. Basic Resource management, but way too many people neglect it i feel. U might want to appear desperate to provoke "outplay" from opponent, but in fact u can protect yourself to an extent and its the opponent making sub-optimal plays.
*test throwing clinger on teammates shotgun to damage through builds/floors? also possible edit floor and try to clinger feet to clip explosions through? also test if snipers have an even bigger clipping issues than shotguns (currently not needed, since stickied teammates damage through builds, but if its fixed, might want to take a look at this one)
*can u double open a new chest in the block same as with vending duping? how about a llama or a Quest Treasure chest? (mwheel + normal Use from 2 people or smtn)
*bigger pyramid from edited corner pyramids edits (4 corner ones into one big transformer)? sounds like a lunacy though, but might be interesting to test still. (don't really need to rotate it either, it kind a auto-aligns to a bigger pyramid). Saves mats for a bigger effective space and potential angles to come out of, but probably not super useful.
*speculation : Treasure maps have 100 or so potential spawns (talking out of ass here, not enough experience obv) or it somehow can be reflected in some networking program or smtn. Might be cheating, might be not, but the game should "send more data" when u are near Treasure's X theoretically or interact somehow with your PC. Tried colorblind X10 presets, no difference visually it seems, but maybe on lower settings or some other shit? We shall know in future i guess.

To celebrate the release of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, I've decided to repost an old thread of mine I made a couple months ago. I've also made a few major additions and changes to it based off of feedback from that last thread and new pre-release stuff shown for Doom Eternal.
Keep in mind that this is still effectively unfinished until Eternal is released, whereupon a final revision of sorts will be created. Apologies with not providing anything visual to work with besides links, but if anyone wants here wishes to create something based off of this, then go right ahead! Additionally, feel free to provide feedback, critique and suggestions on what to add or change.

For this, I tried going for tracks which had a fast pace/were good in action scenarios, to fit the fighting speed of Smash Bros. The song pool below is relatively large for a newcomer, so treat this as more of a pool of tracks the devs would be likely to select.
With the possible exception of the 2016 and Eternal tracks, a lot of these tracks could also be given remixes by Japanese artists (this includes tracks I haven't listed for the above reasons, so don't worry if I haven't listed a track you personally felt could fit here). Bold tracks are my personal faves.

Smash Ultimate "New Fighter" intro splash
The trailer begins in an arena made of a yellow-brown stone and adorned with various red, glowing runes, many of which bear a resemblance to demonic iconography. The arena itself sits upon one of many floating islands hanging over a void of orange clouds and possesses a long, bridge-like path leading to a tall fortress adorned with a goatlike skull.
Pit, Dark Pit and Palutena are locked in an intense scrap with Spirit-clones of Bayonetta, Bowser and Ridley in the hellish arena, the latter trio quickly gaining the upper hand before defeating the Light Goddess and her angelic compatriots. Spirit-Bayonetta and her demonlike allies look down upon the battered heroes, the witch-clone motioning to allies to restrain them as Palutena weakly states "We'll never become soulless husks like you", which Bayonetta ignores.
Music begins to set in as the fighters are suddenly interrupted by a distant screech, as the doors of the demonic fortress are raised and waves of creatures begin pouring out. The creatures are of varying sizes and appearances: scrawny, implike humanoids; flying creatures resembling gargoyles; pink-coloured armoured beasts; muscular humanoids with smooth, skull-like heads; enormous, bipedal monsters possessing crimson skin, cloven hooves and goat horns; and floating, cyclopean spheres of red or brown. The monsters make a beeline towards the arena, the grounded creatures scrambling over and pushing each other out of the way as they cross the bridge, with several of them falling into the abyss below.
The witch-clone and her reptilian allies ready themselves for the oncoming horde... only for the creatures to part and avoid the fighters, running either side of them and jumping to other nearby islands; almost as if they were running away from something. Bowser and Ridley look at each other with confused expressions and look to Bayonetta, who is looking towards the fortress gate with a steely gaze. The two reptiles look towards the gate, only to be shocked by what they see.
The trailer cuts to fortress from the fighters' perspective, where the silhouette of a bulky humanoid is seen standing amidst the orange glow from the open doorway. Cut to the first-person perspective of a familiar Heads-Up Display, which begins to scan the 6 fighters. Cut to various close-up views of the mysterious newcomer, including: a heavy green chest plate; a studded left gauntlet with a retracted blade, which pans up to reveal a shoulder-mounted cannon; and an exposed right bicep, which pans down the arm to show a double-barrelled shotgun - decorated with various inscriptions and a two-pronged blade attached to the underside - being held in the hand. Cut back to the HUD, which has identified the Angel Land protectors as "Safe" and the latter victors as " RIP AND TEAR".
Cut to a shot of the newcomer's head or rather, helmet, where subtle facial figures can be seen through the visor. The shot pans backwards away from the head, revealing a massive, imposing figure in a green carapace-like armour reloading his shotgun, with the barrels being snapped into place as the music drops into the iconic riff from At DOOM's Gate.
THE DOOM SLAYER RIPS AND TEARS INTO BATTLE!
The Doom Slayer then charges his three victims at a full sprint, who respond by firing off pistol volleys and fireballs the Slayer's direction. He suddenly pulls out a black and red-accented Rocket Launcher, which he then fires at his feet to send him flying high above his victims. He re-equips the Super Shotgun in mid-air, before landing between the two groups and taking aim at his victims. The music finishes as the trailer cuts to the Smash logo right as the SSG fires.

Alternate Costumes
  • 4 variations of the DOOM: Eternal Praetor suit. All variants possess colour alterations emulating characters from Id Software's legacy titles.
    • Default DOOM: Eternal colour palette
    • Blonde-yellow helmet with a blue visor, leather brown chest/shoulder plates and arms, red gauntlets, dirty green leg armour and grey boots. Resembles William B.J. Blazkowicz as seen in Wolfenstein: The New Order
    • Yellow helmet with a white visor, purple-pink chest and shoulder plates, white arms and gauntlets, blue waist and leg armour with blue boots. Resembles Commander Keen from the series of the same name.
    • Yellow and bronze helmet with light-flesh visor, bronze shoulder plates with flesh-coloured arms and brown gauntlets, a yellow chest plate, red leg armour and orange-red boots. Resembles the Ranger - the protagonist of the original Quake - as depicted in Quake Champions.
  • 4 unique skins based off of Doomguy's previous in-game appearances. These skins utilise modified versions of DOOM 2016's weapons, including; the Combat Shotgun, Plasma Gun, Super Shotgun, Chaingun, Rocket Launcher and BFG 9000, with the Heavy Cannon and Ballista being replaced by the Heavy Assault Rifle and Gauss Cannon respectively. Each skin also uses unique pain/death sounds sourced from their home games and unique head-stock icons. Essentially all the armour variations for the Doom Slayer as seen in Quake Champions.
    • "Unchained Predator": The Slayer in the Praetor Suit as seen in DOOM 2016.
    • "Doom Marine": The Marine Corporal who starred in Doom 3. Has a unique idle animation where he pulls out a flashlight and attempts to stick it somewhere on his currently-held weapon.
    • "Arena": The same armour worn by Doom, the tough-as-nails Tier 6 fighter from Quake 3: Arena.
    • "Doomguy". The classic armour which started it all, worn by the unnamed Space Marine referred to only as Doomguy in Doom 1 and 2. As a bonus, Doomguy's face in all its pixelated, animated glory will replace his character portrait next to his damage meter in a match. Much like in classic Doom, his face acts as a convenient visual indicator for onscreen action.
      • Becomes progressively beaten up as Doomguy takes damage, albeit with the blood cleaned up.
      • Explodes in a shower of sparkles and blinks back into existence if Doomguy is KO'd (a kid-friendly version of the gib death animation).
      • Will glance to the left or right depending on the direction which damage was received.
      • Displays an expression of shock and pain when launched.
      • Grits his teeth while attacking, stopping only when no inputs are made.
      • Grins maliciously when picking up a rare/powerful item. Or any firearm-type item for that matter.
      • Eyes glow a golden colour when his Final Smash is ready to be executed.
Animations + Misc.
  • Character select pose: Facing the front looking to his right, left hand - Doom blade extended - clenched into a fist and raised above his head, with the Super Shotgun in his right hand aimed in the direction he's looking at.
  • Logo: UAC Logo (likely Modern), the DOOM logo (perhaps shortened to a D) or the Mark of the Slayer.
  • Head icon: Simplified front view of the his current skin's helmet. When using the "Doomguy" skin, the head icon becomes a simplified version of Doomguy's classic HUD face.
  • Entrance: Teleports in through hellish energy, pumping a fresh shell into his Combat Shotgun.
  • Idle animations:
    • Raises his arm and extends the Doom Blade, inspecting then retracting it.
    • Inspects his currently-held weapon (changes depending on the last attack used), activating mechanical components should the weapon possess any (in the vein of the inspection animations when first equipping a weapon).
  • Crumple animation: Falls forward while clutching his neck with his right hand; a homage to his classic death animation.
  • Taunts:
    • Pulls out and activates the Slayer's Crucible, performing two threatening ground slashes before putting it away (could act as an edge-kill move like Luigi's kick taunt).
    • Menacingly cracks his knuckles.
    • Pulls out a Doomguy Doll, inspecting it before giving it a fist-bump.
  • Victory Poses:
    • Fights off a horde of Imps swarming his position, the shot freezing on Doomguy in the iconic Doom cover pose (aiming his Super Shotgun at an Imp grabbing his arm).
    • Pulls out the Chaingun with the Mobile Turret modification and unleashes a continuous barrage.
    • Crushes a demon skull with his foot, with the shot panning up to see Doomguy load the Super Shotgun and take aim at the camera, up close and personal (essentially the Doom Eternal teaser trailer from the Demon's point of view).
  • No Contest/Defeat Pose: Slowly claps in a slow, calm manner of tranquil fury.
  • Character artwork: A recreation of either the Classic Doom cover art or Doom 2016 cover art (itself a recreation of the classic cover art) with various Smash fighters replacing the demons (and Samus as the second marine in the classic cover's background).
Snake Codec
  • Snake: Otacon, I've got a large man wearing what looks like compromised power armour. Do we know who he is?
  • Samuel Hayden: That would be the Doom Slayer. I would advise you to vacate the area immediately, unless you wish to suffer a messy demise.
  • S: (Grumbles) I'm starting to second-guess as to whether our "encrypted" channel is actually encrypted or not. Anyways, who are you and what makes this "Doom Slayer" any different from any other green space marine?
  • H: I am Samuel Hayden, Chairman of the Union Aerospace Corporation and the one responsible for the discovery of the Doom Marine. While our own research on him is limited at best, we do know that he has been fighting a rage-fuelled, one-man war against the forces of Hell for centuries.
  • S: Centuries? It's almost as if you're saying that this Slayer-guy is too angry to die…
  • H: In a sense, yes. Our observations have shown that the Doom Slayer moves at high speeds at all times, possesses unparalleled strength and a seemingly innate proficiency at using any weapon he can get his hands on, with guns being a particular favourite of his.
  • S: An affinity towards firearms. Admirable, though they look nothing like what I've used before.
  • H: Most of his arsenal consists of... "borrowed" UAC equipment and demonic artefacts. However, the double-barrelled shotgun he carries appears to be a more personal possession.
  • S: Not that it matters. Those inscriptions on the barrel don't provide any tactical advantage… though that large grappling-hook-blade attachment probably will.
  • H: If you're still planning to engage the Doom Slayer (not that you have any chance of winning), I would advise you to strike him from long range and only when he lets his guard down; most of his arsenal is only effective from short to medium range, while his agility and lethality compensate for a surprisingly lacking durability. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to attend to… dispelling rumours about a "demon incursion".
  • S: Thanks for the pointers. Wait, did you say something about a demon invasion?
  • H: (Intercom in background warns "Demonic presence at unsafe levels. Lockdown in effect.") As I said; dispelling rumours.
Palutena's Guidance
  • Pit: (visibly perturbed) Uhh… when did Samus become a man all of a sudden?
  • Viridi: That isn't Samus, you dope! That is the Doom Slayer!
  • Pt: Doom Slayer? Now that's the least friendly-sounding name I've heard in a while.
  • Palutena: You've got nothing to worry about, Pit. Despite his fearsome looks, the Doom Slayer is quite cooperative - unless you're a demon or happen to be working for one.
  • V: And he's very efficient at that, especially since he's been fighting demons for hundreds of years. I'd almost go as far as to say that he'd serve as the perfect replacement for you, Pit.
  • Pt: … (scoffs) As if... (gulps) Okay, I'll be honest; I'm not feeling too confident about fighting him.
  • V: \Gasp!* Is poor little Pit finally admitting defeat? Time to hang up your wings; Palutena has just found her new bodyguard captain (chuckles).*
  • Pt: NO WAY! It's just that… those guns of his look like they could tear anything to pieces! And he doesn't look all that weighed down by that heavy armour he's wearing.
  • Pl: That's correct, Pit. The Doom Slayer's firearms all deal heavy amounts of damage, while his high mobility allows him to keep the pressure up on his opponents.
  • V: And if he grabs you when your damage is high enough, he'll perform a "Glory Kill" on you, which is a guaranteed KO and even heals him up a bit.
  • Pt: Health recovery on KO? Sounds both awesome and illogical. Is there any way to beat this guy?
  • V: While his weapons may be deadly, they all run off of a limited ammo supply. If he runs dry, he'll be unable to use his special attacks and be forced to use his pistol for standard attacks.
  • Pl: That gives you the perfect opportunity to strike. However, be careful when getting close; he might attempt to use his chainsaw charge to replenish his ammo.
  • Pt: Wha? How does that even work? On second thoughts, I'd rather not find out!
Palutena's Guidance (Doomguy Alt)
  • Pit: I think I've seen that fighter before. I just can't put a name to his face - or helmet for that matter.
  • Viridi: Funny you should mention that. He's had quite a few names over the years, though most people simply call him Doomguy.
  • Pt: Doomguy? You mean the berserker-packin' man and a half!? A 12.0 on the 10.0 scale of badness!? How did he even make it into Smash Bros.?!
  • Palutena: Many consider him to be the king of First Person Shooters. If anything, that would make him the perfect candidate as a representative of the genre.
  • V: Like how Ryu and Ken represent traditional fighting games!
  • Pt: But aren't his games supposed to be extremely violent?
  • Pl: As if to say every other fighter in this fighting tournament isn't violent to some degree?
  • Pt: Right… So what do I have to look out for with Doomguy?
  • Pl: Aside from being his most damaging methods of attack, Doomguy's heavier weapons also increase his mobility options. For example, he can use the recoil of his Gauss Cannon to extend the distance of his jumps.
  • V: I heard that he can do this thing where he fires his Rocket Launcher at his feet and uses the explosive force of the rocket to send him flying upwards. Apparently, they call it "Rocket Jumping".
  • Pt: Rocket Jumping? Sounds both fun and painful. I'll pass.
  • V: Y'know, despite being a filthy human and all, I think Doomguy would make an excellent addition to the forces of nature.
  • Pt: Am I dreaming?! That has to be the last thing I'd expect you to say. But I don't think you'll have much luck; Doomguy always struck me as a "Lone Wolf" kinda guy.
  • V: Hey! I'll have you know that he understands the repercussions if we can't find a way to safely dispose of nuclear waste. I mean, what kind of planet will we be leaving to our children? And our children's children?
  • Pl: I think I'm going to have to agree with Pit on this one. Doomguy doesn't take kindly to authority figures, especially after what happened to his last commanding officer…
Stage - Hell on Earth
  • A stage taking place on Earth during the demon invasion. The backdrop is of a futuristic city in the midst of being dragged into hell, with dominating features including burning/half-demolished building shells, floating landmasses and skyscraper chunks suspended by large tentacles, a blasted hellscape of rubble and large, flowing rivers/falls of lava. Naturally, this backdrop would be scrubbed of any blood, gore (aside from perhaps skeletons) and some satanic imagery in order to pass the PG-13 rating (if the latter warrants such censoring).
  • The stage itself features a wide, flat arena with several stationary platforms and a mancannon in the centre. Additional elements such as hazardous lava/nukage pools and explosive barrels are randomly placed at the start of the map, with the latter respawning after a set amount of time.
  • During the battle, Demons will occasionally pop in to harass the onstage fighters. Successfully eliminating a Demon fills up a meter (indicated by the "weapon upgrade point gained" symbol popping up for every 10 points gained), with each demon contributing different amounts (as listed beside their name):
    • Zombieman (1): Weakest of the standard demons, uses a slow-firing Plasma gun against attackers.
    • Imp (2): Throws fireballs and scratches when up close, but is easily killed.
    • Hell Razer (2): Fires a long-range, penetrating laser. Also easily killed.
    • Pinky (3): Charges down fighters. Weak, but takes greatly reduced damage from the front.
    • Spectre (3): Identical to Pinkies, but are (mostly) invisible.
    • Lost Soul (1): Makes a beeline towards fighters, dealing significant damage and slight knockback upon impact. Dies in one hit from most attacks.
    • Hell Knight (5): Rushes in aggressively with punishing melee strikes. Somewhat tough to take down.
    • Mancubus (8): Shoots fireballs from a distant and has a flamethrower attack at close range. Tough, but slow at moving and aiming at fighters.
    • Cyber-Mancubus (8): Identical to the Mancubus, but fires green globs of acid which produce damaging, acidic puddles upon impact.
    • Revenant (6): Glass cannons which fire high-damaging missiles in bursts and move quickly using their jetpack.
    • Cacodemon (6): Slow, tough flyer which bombards the arena with projectiles.
    • Pain Elemental (7): Continuously expels lost souls from its mouth, which circle the brown ball before being thrown at fighters.
    • Arachnotron (7): Brains-on-stilts which fire high-damage plasma bolts from a mounted cannon.
    • Baron of Hell (10): Significantly tougher Hell Knight which throws green fireballs between melee strikes.
    • Summoner (10): Average toughness, but teleports frequently and summons lesser monsters (Imps, Hell Razers, Pinkies, Spectres and Lost Souls) to protect it.
    • Arch-Vile (20): TBA
  • You may get a rare visitor in the form of a boss appearing in the background of the stage. With lots of health and multiple attacks, these big guys will often require a joint effort from fighters to be taken out. While the bosses are on the arena, no other demons will spawn in (besides those spawned by any Summoner or revived by any Arch-Vile still present on the battlefield)
    • Cyberdemon (50): Attacks by firing either rockets or a high-damage, penetrating laser from its arm-mounted cannon. Can occasionally shower the stage with an artillery barrage. Once brought down to half-health, his Argent Accumulator will disengage, granting the Cyberdemon the ability to create flaming slashes from his arm-spike and cordon off stage sections with tall rock walls, dividing up/trapping fighters. Disintegrates upon death.
    • Spider Mastermind (50): Only takes damage from attacking its head, with bonus damage taken by hitting the face. Attacks include: fairing its rapid-fire plasma chaingun; sweeping multiple lasers across the lower and upper levels of the stage; throwing bombs across the stage; and firing a single, penetrating laser. May occasionally swipe at the stage and flip upside down, hiding most of its head. Once at half-health, gains additional attacks in the form of throwing pillars at fighters and electrifying the bottom floor, damaging anything standing on it. at 10% health, becomes heavily damaged and crippled, only attacking fighters with flailing lasers and throwing pillars. Sinks into the floor upon death.
  • Once the Slayer meter is full, a Powerup will appear in the middle of the arena (below the Mancannon). Each powerup (aside from Mega Health/Armour) lasts 15 seconds and possess unique effects that can be advantageous for different fighters depending on the powerup (I.e. Ryu would benefit more from Berserk than Quad Damage):
    • Haste: Greatly increases movement and attack speed.
    • Invulnerability: Nullifies all knockback and damage received, but cannot protect against falling into the blast zone. Lasts for a shorter amount of time compared to other powerups.
    • Berserk: Greatly increases melee (punch/kick) damage and knockback.
    • Quad Damage: Greatly increases weapon (sword/gun) damage and knockback.
    • Mega Health: Resets damage counter to 0%.
    • Mega Armour: Adds a layer of armour over a fighter, absorbing 100 damage until depleted.
  • If stage hazards are disabled, demon/boss spawns, the slayer meter, explosive barrels and lava/nukage pools will not appear.
Items
  • The Cyberdemon can appear from an Assist Trophy, on top of being a stage boss like Rathalos. He behaves much the same way in his boss appearance but is now standing directly on stage as opposed to in the background. AT!Cyberdemon also has reduced health compared to Boss!Cyberdemon and has all attacks available from the get-go.
  • UAC Field Drone: Slowly flies around the battlefield. Attacking it will cause it to drop its package, which can contain the following:
    • Haste
    • Invulnerability
    • Berserk
    • Quad Damage
    • Mega Health
    • Mega Armour
Music
For this, I tried going for tracks which had a fast pace/were good in action scenarios, to fit the fighting speed of Smash Bros. The song pool below is relatively large for a newcomer, so treat this as more of a pool of tracks the devs would be likely to select.
With the possible exception of the 2016 and Eternal tracks, a lot of these tracks could also be given remixes by Japanese artists (this includes tracks I haven't listed for the above reasons, so don't worry if I haven't listed a track you personally felt could fit here). Bold tracks are my personal faves.

    • Multiple average-health Warios (Pink+Blue alt) only using Chomp. Halfway through the fight, Warios begin to use the Wario Bike in addition to the Chomp. While on the bike, the Warios won't attempt to change direction unless after hitting a solid wall and take reduced damage from frontal attacks. References the classic and modern interpretations of the Pinky Demons.
    • Two giant Luigis constantly throwing high-damage fireballs. References the Barons of Hell, specifically the fight against the twin Barons in E1M8 (Phobos Anomaly), the last level from Doom 1's first episode, Knee Deep in the Dead. Music: Sign of Evil.
    • A giant Charizard, which has indefinite flight and can only attack with Flamethrower and Flare Blitz. Timers will periodically spawn over the course of the battle, of which only the Doom Slayer can use. References the fight against the Maledict (the final boss of Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil), with the Timers replicating the time-slowing properties of The Artifact. Music: Doom 3 Theme.
    • "Ranger" alt Slayer. Moves around primarily by rocket-jumping around the stage, attacking with Shotgun, Super Shotgun. Quad Damage powerup spawns near "Ranger" occasionally throughout the match. Music: Any of the above Quake tracks (especially Descent into Cerberon or the Quake theme).
    • "Blazkowics" alt Slayer. Increased weight and decreased speed; primarily attacks with the Chaingun, Heavy Cannon and Pistol (carries no Shotgun/Plasma gun). Chicken drumsticks regularly spawn near "BJ" throughout the match. Music: Evil Incarnate, the Ultimate Challenge or any of the above Wolfenstein music.
    • Solo Boss Fight against the Cyberdemon. Music: Nobody Told Me About Id, Cyberdeath or Cyberdemon.
    • Jeanne-alt Bayonetta, who attacks primarily through Bullet Arts. Once defeated, the Spider Mastermind boss is summoned. Once it's health runs low, a Smash Ball is spawned and the Mastermind will become invulnerable to all damage besides that of Doomguy's Final Smash. References Olivia Pierce, her transformation into the Spider Mastermind and the subsequent boss fight. Music: Facing the Spider or Mastermind.

Smash Ultimate "New Fighter" intro splash
The trailer begins in an arena made of a yellow-brown stone and adorned with various red, glowing runes, many of which bear a resemblance to demonic iconography. The arena itself sits upon one of many floating islands hanging over a void of orange clouds and possesses a long, bridge-like path leading to a tall fortress adorned with a goatlike skull.
Pit, Dark Pit and Palutena are locked in an intense scrap with Spirit-clones of Bayonetta, Bowser and Ridley in the hellish arena, the latter trio quickly gaining the upper hand before defeating the Light Goddess and her angelic compatriots. Spirit-Bayonetta and her demonlike allies look down upon the battered heroes, the witch-clone motioning to allies to restrain them as Palutena weakly states "We'll never become soulless husks like you", which Bayonetta ignores.
Music begins to set in as the fighters are suddenly interrupted by a distant screech, as the doors of the demonic fortress are raised and waves of creatures begin pouring out. The creatures are of varying sizes and appearances: scrawny, implike humanoids; flying creatures resembling gargoyles; pink-coloured armoured beasts; muscular humanoids with smooth, skull-like heads; enormous, bipedal monsters possessing crimson skin, cloven hooves and goat horns; and floating, cyclopean spheres of red or brown. The monsters make a beeline towards the arena, the grounded creatures scrambling over and pushing each other out of the way as they cross the bridge, with several of them falling into the abyss below.
The witch-clone and her reptilian allies ready themselves for the oncoming horde... only for the creatures to part and avoid the fighters, running either side of them and jumping to other nearby islands; almost as if they were running away from something. Bowser and Ridley look at each other with confused expressions and look to Bayonetta, who is looking towards the fortress gate with a steely gaze. The two reptiles look towards the gate, only to be shocked by what they see.
The trailer cuts to fortress from the fighters' perspective, where the silhouette of a bulky humanoid is seen standing amidst the orange glow from the open doorway. Cut to the first-person perspective of a familiar Heads-Up Display, which begins to scan the 6 fighters. Cut to various close-up views of the mysterious newcomer, including: a heavy green chest plate; a studded left gauntlet with a retracted blade, which pans up to reveal a shoulder-mounted cannon; and an exposed right bicep, which pans down the arm to show a double-barrelled shotgun - decorated with various inscriptions and a two-pronged blade attached to the underside - being held in the hand. Cut back to the HUD, which has identified the Angel Land protectors as "Safe" and the latter victors as " RIP AND TEAR".
Cut to a shot of the newcomer's head or rather, helmet, where subtle facial figures can be seen through the visor. The shot pans backwards away from the head, revealing a massive, imposing figure in a green carapace-like armour reloading his shotgun, with the barrels being snapped into place as the music drops into the iconic riff from At DOOM's Gate.
THE DOOM SLAYER RIPS AND TEARS INTO BATTLE!
The Doom Slayer then charges his three victims at a full sprint, who respond by firing off pistol volleys and fireballs the Slayer's direction. He suddenly pulls out a black and red-accented Rocket Launcher, which he then fires at his feet to send him flying high above his victims. He re-equips the Super Shotgun in mid-air, before landing between the two groups and taking aim at his victims. The music finishes as the trailer cuts to the Smash logo right as the SSG fires.

2018.07.22 09:21 GrumpingIt I wish the game was more in Depth and customizable! (Long rambling paragraph of ideas and suggestions)

I would love if I could fully customize bitizens instead of just randomize them. I wish they had individual bitbook profiles on their pages with their bitbook posts, so I could imagine more of a personality of the person. I wish they could interact with their apartment somehow, even if they just had an occasional speech bubble with an emoticon in front of something, or if they had conversations in the apartments, etc. Idle animations essentially, so they feel alive. That would probably have to stop when you rode the elevator though, or be very scarce, because I bet too much would late the game. I wish they would visit other floors, maybe a different colored elevator icon for picking people up on their floors or something. They would need to create the ability to cancel elevator rides though, in case someone doesn't want to take someone far. I wish that we could make custom businesses and apartments and such. Maybe a collection of different combination of arrangeable furniture, even like 3 rows of things you could shuffle through and interchange would be cool. You could make personalized towers even moreso. Even if floor customization options cost bux or something it would be cool. Being able to paint individual things would be cool too. More like swap the color palette though, as to avoid anyone drawing or writing anything inappropriate on the objects. I would love custom stores where I can change the product names, and maybe change the icons from a big sheet of premade icons. Maybe customizable floors would be more expensive, or take way longer to construct, or both. To prevent people from cheating to get a huge profit, there would probably have to be like set prices for each color of custom floor though. Or maybe customizable floors would be their own color, and the prices of products would have to be set some other way the developers would come up with. Possibly just randomized prices so nobody can cheat the system. Maybe if the customized floors did have colors, the prices would be randomized based on the range of prices from the preexisting businesses, so they could have realistic pricing for that type of business! I know this is a lot, and it's all over the place, but any additions, thoughts, criticisms, etc?

Hey Cougars and Cubs alike,
I need an opinion.
I work at a sports complex and while I was out working a booth during a sports event our company sponsored, I met this woman, older than I am, who sells sports supplements. She came up introduced herself to my co-worker and I (not respectively she was chatting with me at first) and told us about the product. We tried the stuff, she told us about the product, and we went on our way.
During the event she was picking my brain while I was at my booth (she was at the neighbouring booth). She asked about where I went to school, how I got my job, how old I was, where I'm from, and general kinda stuff. After talking for a while she told me about possible career's with the supplement company and how I could train directly under her if I joined and blah blah blah. I'll be honest, I was pretty seduced/infatuated by her and said I was interested in it all. It was a half truth I liked the model of the company a little bit. All aside, she gave me her business card and information and she told me to keep in touch about the side career opportunity. Fast forward a couple weeks and I haven't texted or called her, but she shows up at our sports complex (didn't stalk we did tell her where to find us in the city) and she was talking about possible partnerships with our company and such. I was working that day and she recognized me right off the bat. Asked about what I thought of the side career opportunity so far, how I was doing and such. Friendly stuff, I would say. Before she left she invited me out with her as her guest to a company get togethecelebration. I had to decline since I wasn't available, but I did tell her I was interested. Anyway, after that second time I saw her, I started texting her and we went back and forth texting about the career.
For the emoji/emoticon analyst she sent ;) faces a couple of times does that mean something?! /s
She asked if I was interested in meeting with her and talking along the beach or grabbing some coffee together and going over the whole details of the company. I was very interested, but had to decline since I wasn't available at the time she was. However, she was adamant about talking with me so she called and chatted a little about the career, but mainly again about my life, how I got into sports, and how I got my job. She asked me my age again and told me hers (she's 52). She tied in her asking my age by saying I was old enough to join the company and how people who joined at my age are so successful now. Idk how her age tied into everything though. We talked a bit more about the career and a little about her life and her career with the company. Before we disconnected she said how badly she wants me to be apart of the team since she takes me for a hard worker (she's not wrong). So a month goes by after the call. I don't know what to say since the next step is joing the company and investing money in the product. (This post is already too long but joining the company is a whole big thing, but sounds like a pyramid scheme if you asked me). Anyway, I reopened communication with her and texted her asking if she still wanted to go to the beach or grab a drink. I wasn't expecting a response, but she wrote back saying Friday or Sunday for lunch together (paraphrasing) or we could go to a company related event and I could go with her as a guest on Friday. I brushed aside the guest opportunity since I couldn't make that anyway and I wasn't much interested in going to an event with a bunch of people. So we settled on coffee this Sunday. Here's the thing... I texted her on a stupid whim, so I have NO idea what we're meeting up for. I didn't even talk about the career my text goes as quote/ish (privacy edits and grammar edits have been applied)
Hi OW, were you still interested in meeting at the beach or grabbing a drink sometime? Friday and Sunday are looking like my most available days.
It can't be business related since all I have to do at this point is pull the trigger and invest some money, she's given me basically all the information on the company that I need to make a decision. I'm not really interested in the career there are other ways I'd rather make money, and I don't have enough funds to even invest in the company in the first place :insert starving college student here: I'm really just digging her, and that's the catch. I feel kind of bad texting her because I just wanted to go out with her alone. I'm thinking about telling her how I feel about everything, but I'm not sure if that's a smart idea... Mainly because I'm not sure if I've taken our entire interaction as she's-into-me-ness rather than friendliness or just doing her job (which is recruiting people). I'm erring towards the former, but it seems rather obvious that I would.
Another catch is that I don't KNOW if she's married. She hasn't mentioned a husband (ex or not), but she has talked about her kids and she does have a huge diamond ring on her hand (yes I shamelessly checked...). I have no idea if saying anything is a bad idea/disrespectful. In the end, the plans aren't concrete I could fudge my way out of things, but at the sametime I do want to see her again.
SO, while I've only gave you the brief highlights of the past months what do you think? From a cub's perspective am I just reading too deep into things? Or from a woman's perspective is she actually interested in me or simply just doing her job?

It’s probably not the most exciting story out there, but that’s ok – I’m just glad I found my passion :)
  • Is there a way you decide what brands you bring on into your store? There is definitely no guidebook on it as far as I’m concerned. Some brands we pick up because of customer demand; some I have found through browsing/shopping online and decided that YES I NEED YOU IN MY SHOP RIGHT NOW, some brands I have worked with before and though they may not be big names yet in the veeeeery competitive indie market – their owners are sweethearts and I like to give them a way to access international buyers. Although I would likely stock almost everyone if I could it’s just not feasible sadly. These days I tend to really scour for reviews or purchase products to use myself before approaching brands. We’re very focused on perfumery, bath and body and cosmetics in the next few years; and we have a variety of new brands joining us in the upcoming months that I am extremely excited about!
  • Tell us about your Femme Fatale line. What inspires you to create the products? Sometimes I dive right into a collection with a colour palette in mind, sometimes I will sit and make random things for several hours, and other times I comb through my samples to find the perfect additions to a half-finished collection. And I have a lot of samples. I tend to keep all my discards for about 6 months, and they number in the hundreds. Just because I made something ‘meh’ one day doesn’t mean that a month from now it’s not perfect or ready to be tweaked into perfection!
When it comes to my polish releases almost always I will have in mind a theme and a corresponding aesthetic or basic colour play I want to go with. For example our recent Dune release I knew was going to be primarily warm tones and microglitters. Previous to that, our Midsummer Night’s Dream, was very soft, airy and ethereal. As mentioned above, I like to tell the story with my colours, so that when my customers see or wear it, they can really get the essence or vibe from our inspiration.
With cosmetics I am much more brash in my approach. After several years you have a basic understanding of how colours work, how to achieve certain finishes, and how the pigments mix with each other. This means I can jump in and create on a whim, sometimes putting out full collections in days. It can be easier, but at the same time it’s very exciting because you never truly know what you will end up with! I generally have a basic colour theme I approach a cosmetic collection with, though I have definitely come out of it before with something completely different but better haha grin emoticon
  • Are there any products you are hoping to create in the future or that might be in the works that you would like to share with us? At the moment we have a carnival collection (lacquer) coming out early next year, and after that I have a few themes I may like to explore. Nothing I can speak about yet though because it’s really not more than a few budding ideas. Our next planned cosmetic release is something SUPER exciting! Don’t tell anyone… but it may involve Shiro, space, and awesomeness ;)

That's it, right there. It's the Yin-Yangof emoticon's - my other favorite symbol. Because even as it's getting harder to be a human being in this world (as David Foster Wallace) once said - you can't beat the humanity implied in that digitized modern shorthand.
That Happy/Sad dichotomy that is the essence of being a healer-idealist for me personally. It's not the blubbering tears of joy and toothy smiles you see from a marriage proposal or a overwhelmingly joyous life moment. But a more complex and discrete palette of both extremes met in the middle. And it's that very complexity that helps us both understand our fellow man and alienate ourselves from them at the same time.
In fact it's that very INFP of emotions that changed an actresses career for nailing it. Ebert's review of the movie even pinpointed this very scene as the moment a star was borne in Almost Famous. I bet some of you already know what I'm talking about...

But I'm glad I am, instead of putting this off for re-editing and better prose choice. This is where I'm supposed to wink but I'm tired of that shit.

That emoticon? It doesn't exist on your I-phone. Go ahead and see for yourself. If that fact, coupled with the very emoticon alone doesn't express simply what it means to be INFP then I don't know what does.
