PEHCHAAN THE STREET SCHOOL has been committed to helping people and working unconditionally for underprivileged children since 2015. Pehchaan The Street School is a non-profit organization founded by Mr. Akash Tandon. We started with just 10 volunteers and now Pehchaan The Street School has helped 800+ volunteers, 100+ members, and interns. They gave me a new view of life. We provide them with new resources and lessons, provide them with regular medical exams, and meet their basic needs. We ensure that our children's lives before joining Pehchaan The Street School do not affect them now and in the future. Today, we have many success stories; our students are entrepreneurs and professionals living their best lives. This makes us proud and happy.
Our 800+ volunteers had a great time at the Pehchaan The Street School. They teach our children that life is meaningful and full of happiness. We play! We dance! We giggle! We passed the course! They are the brightest months and allow the sun to shine the most. Our volunteers work online and on-site at 10 centers based in Delhi. Our volunteers have been doing their best for 9 years, proudly serving Pehchaan The Street School without expecting anything in return. Everyone has certain roles and responsibilities that they must follow. We have teacher volunteers who meet children's learning needs and teach them daily. Our volunteers not only provide education to children but also provide them with extracurricular activities to develop their skills and develop them in various fields. They organize monthly fun camps and health checks to ensure our children are healthy and free from serious or chronic diseases.
After talking to many volunteers and recording their comments on videos of volunteering activities on YouTube. Some of the conversations we had with our volunteers.
Sohail Raina works as a Pehchaan The Street School volunteer and has experienced a lot here. He met us on Instagram and started visiting and working with us as a volunteer guide. He said it was difficult to teach initially because all students have different learning abilities and skills. He explained that he teaches 3 subjects in 2 hours of teaching time and even spares time for other activities such as teaching his students arts, crafts, and social skills. Over time, he found ways to teach children in ways that helped them remember what they were taught and apply it in their daily lives. He lived in the story of Sunita.
Sunita's journey from being an underprivileged child to a teacher exemplifies the transformative impact of education on individual lives and communities. Growing up without access to formal schooling, Sunita's future seemed uncertain until she discovered Pehchaan The Street School. Through the school's comprehensive education programs and mentorship, Sunita not only completed her education but also discovered her passion for teaching. Today, she serves as a dedicated teacher at Pehchaan The Street School, inspiring and empowering the next generation of students with her story of resilience and determination.
Another volunteer Kajal teaches politics, English, social studies, and science to fourth and sixth graders. She once told an interesting and inspiring story to one of her students, Prabhu. He is in sixth grade and is good at solving challenges and high-level games. He once refused to study with another teacher while Kajal was away, and when Kajal arrived the next day, he was very happy to see her. Another student she teaches is Ayush, a fourth-year student who wants to become a successful doctor. One day, when he got sick and another volunteer tried to treat him, he did not let him touch him because he wanted Kajal to sit next to him and give him medicine. In this way, a bond of love and motherly compassion is formed between our children and our volunteers. She believes that playing and sliding can help children learn important concepts faster and easier.
Another student volunteer, Priya, has been working at Pehchaan The Street School for a long time and refuses to leave Pehchaan The Street School and its students. She currently teaches children in grades 2, 3, 4, 6, and 7 and almost all subjects and subjects in grades 6 and 7. There is an invisible bond between him and his children that cannot be seen but can be heard. She lacked confidence in public speaking when she joined. However, she overcame her fear and insecurity after volunteering at Pehchaan The Street School. She met us while looking for NGOs near her home and came across our Instagram account and immediately joined us as one of our locations was just steps away from his home. Even when Priya is not around, she is with us online and also conducts online classes to ensure that her students' education is completed on time and without interruption.
Rahul Kapoor, an IT professional by day and a passionate volunteer by weekend, leverages his technical skills to enhance the educational experience at Pehchaan. Rahul introduced digital learning tools, creating interactive sessions that captivate the children’s interest. His innovative methods include using tablets and educational apps, which have significantly improved the children’s engagement and learning outcomes. Rahul’s tech-savvy approach has not only modernized the teaching methods but also equipped the children with essential digital literacy skills. (Life Beyond Numbers: A Community of Change-Makers.
Prena, one of the current volunteers at Pehchaan The Street School when asked a question about what is the challenge that most of the volunteers face. She said it may be difficult emotionally for volunteers to witness the difficulties experienced by children and their families in poverty amid rampant violence and instability which leaves them struggling all the time those who have suffered the most are innocent kids who come from poor families that live in bad areas. Volunteers should therefore not only be empathetic but also sympathetic when handling such situations as it might affect them so much through creating a balance between their personal feelings about what is happening and showing concern towards those who require their help; This is because sometimes you need to help yourself before helping others. It is important for a volunteer to keep themselves emotionally intact as it acts as strength in dealing with emotionally fragile students.
Challenged by these obstacles, volunteers at Pehchaan The Street School have displayed awe-inspiring dedication, creativity, and resilience. Every time they serve these people, underprivileged kids they make a firm stand to make changes that have made disadvantages appear as opportunities and cheer for hope again.
Our volunteers even come to India to visit our facilities and spend time with our children. Recently, Gurpreet, who lives in Canada now, was also a volunteer at Pehchaan The Street School, He visited us at our home and found us through social media. He's proud of our work and the progress we made in these years. He spends time with our children and even teaches them. He came to India with a broken heart but returned with a heart full of joy and happy memories. Alex and Christie, Gurpreet’s friends also came to India and joined Gurpreet to teach students and have unforgettable memories with our happy and loving children. They teach children different numbers so they can solve math problems faster, which makes the visit worthwhile.

This is a skill she reacquired after having reunited with Xiang Yu at Chaldea. It defines her position as the Hegemon-King of Western Chu’s wife/lover, as well as signifies the strong bond they share.
Changing into a swimsuit has garnered more unwelcomed attention from others, to which Yu responds with an even stronger assertion: “I am this man’s wife!” In a sense, this may perhaps be a manifestation of her faithfulness.

Dance From the Bygone Days: EX

This skill represents the sword dance she once performed before Xiang Yu. While she is firm with her distaste for human culture and sees no point in imitating them, she would occasionally bend that mindset for her beloved.
She can’t tell if she’s objectively decent at it. She doesn’t give a damn about how others evaluate her for it. What she does know is that dancing was, at times, necessary. Xiang Yu’s evaluation of her dance and the look on his face as he watched her were between the two of them. That moment, along with this skill, was deeply engraved into her Spirit Origin as a precious memory.
This skill was designed to be sealed and unusable without Xiang Yu nearby. But this time around, the impact of his spear being loaned to her has broken the seal and made it usable through the spear functioning as Xiang Yu’s substitute of some sort.
It has now been arranged to be a spear dance.

NOBLE PHANTASM

Anti-Fling Rondo.
Fling is slang for “affair” or “one-summer love,” and by extension points to the summer monsters mentioned in the event. The spear Xiang Yu loaned to her, (or as she believes to be) the embodiment of his love, serves as an anti-summer monster measure. It packs an anti-male attack bonus stemming from her over-the-top prejudiced view.
Although Yu had no experience in martial arts or tactics, her love for Xiang Yu turning up a notch was what evoked the memories of the sword dance she once performed before him. This then gave her the idea of rearranging the choreography into a spear dance. For some reason, this Noble Phantasm turned out to resemble pole dancing.
It works in the same way as her original Noble Phantasm “Eternal Lament” in that she lets her magical energy run amok to generate abnormal weather as she destroys her physical form. What makes it different, however, is the use of Xiang Yu’s spear as the axis of her movements: Gaining a spinning trajectory generates a tornado-shaped curse instead of a rain of blood.
Her eternal lament has transformed into a rondo of death.

[Her Noble Phantasm] activates on those (she accuses of) making eye at her even if they never did hit on her.
Simply put, expect the possibility of a spear flying your way just by catching a glimpse of her swimsuit form. “Well, what can I say? Anything to remain faithful to my Lord Xiang Yu,” she retorts.

〇 FGO Biography

This version of Consort Yu was one of the Servants featured in the 2020 summer event “Servant Summer Camp ~Chaldea’s Thriller Night~.”
She was all set and ready to head to the Singularity for a vacation with Xiang Yu post-mission. Unfortunately, Xiang Yu’s calculations led him to the conclusion that, even if he must deceive her, it would be best she Rayshift without him. Shaken, her pillar of support in all this was the spear Xiang Yu loaned to her beforehand as well as the love it emanated.
After all, he did warn her about the dangers of summer monsters.
Yu found herself wondering what the so-called “summer monsters” are, later on finding out that the term is sometimes used to refer to the tendency of getting carried away and being prone to making mistakes such as hookups during the summer. “In other words, Lord Xiang Yu was worried I’d get hit on, so he gave this to me as protection!?” The love she felt has her at a fever pitch.
(The truth remains unknown… Xiang Yu’s calculations did initially inform him of the “presence of threat/s” and the “possibility of said threat/s being monsters,” but he may have phrased it as such simply because it was summertime, not necessarily aware of the definition of the slang.)
While she was utterly dejected that Xiang Yu was not around, she did not dwell on it completely. Using his love as her driving force, she was set on clearing this Singularity ASAP so that the two of them can finally go on a leisurely vacation together… Thus Yu commandingly led her unreliable Kouhai by the hand.
She ended up dying multiple times. Again and again and again as if on a spree. She even split herself in two like a planaria. From the very start of this event, in fact.
——That summer may have been Consort Yu’s summer.

〇 HISTORICAL BIOGRAPHY

Gareth was the seventh seat of the Knights of the Round Table led by King Arthur of Britain. She was a young girl knight born to King Lot and Fae Queen Morgan, and the sister of Gawain, Gaheris, and Agravain. Mordred the Knight of Treachery was her half-brother.
She was also known as Guerrehet and Beaumains (Beautiful Hands).
Gareth was the newest addition to the Round Table and the least experienced knight. She held respect for all her senior Knights of the Round Table. She was especially attached to Sir Lancelot and often followed him.
Gareth went through numerous trainings as a squire (such as working in the castle disguised as a kitchen boy, fighting her brother Gawain, and pursuing learning under the fae folk) and eventually became an official member of the Knights of the Round Table. Like Gaheris, she did not accompany their eldest brother Gawain after her knighthood and instead chose to become an attendant of Lancelot.

Gareth was loved by many for her brimming potential. Even the other Knights of the Round Table, not just her brothers, spoke highly of her claiming that “she will become the greatest knight one day” and that “in time, she will become a true knight rivaling all her brothers.”
When Agravain plotted to indict Queen Guinevere and Sir Lancelot of adultery, Gareth opposed him. She said, “I will not speak of unsettling statements about Sir Lancelot, who conferred the title of a knight to me,” and left the scene filled with deep sorrow.
Later, Agravain caught Lancelot in the act of committing adultery, but this resulted to him losing his life in retaliation. Gareth was then ordered to attend the captured Queen Guinevere’s execution. Gareth complied but made it clear that she would be witnessing the execution against her will and attended without wearing armor or carrying weapon on her person. This decision would lead to her demise.
Gareth’s unarmed head was cracked open in Sir Lancelot’s rescue of the queen.
Many lives were lost in this chain of incidents. Agravain, Gaheris, and lastly Gareth—Having lost his siblings, how tremendous must have been Sir Gawain’s grief? Thus, a schism divided the Round Table, and the glory of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table came to an end.

She honors chivalry, and believes in and follows justice. She is proud to serve under the King of Knights, and even now considers being chosen as a member of the Round Table the greatest honor of her life.
She still respects Sir Lancelot. Even if the knight who blindly rushed to rescue Queen Guinevere never caught sight of her figure on the day everything spiraled to the end… And even if the knight did recognize her but still slew her without hesitation, she respects him all the same.

On the verge of death, this skill enables Mandricardo to unleash an all-out strike. It is close to but not the same as Battle Continuation in the sense that he is guaranteed to perish after landing a strike.
The higher the rank, the greater the damage. At rank C, one full-power strike can be unleashed at just the right measure.

Brigliadoro’s Neigh: A

This skill is the sublimation of the episode of Mandricardo stealing and riding the famed horse Brigliadoro. It increases his mobility, attack power, and reputation at the cost of making him an easy target for enemies.

Serment de Durendal: This Noble Phantasm embodies Mandricardo’s oath to not don a sword until he acquires the sought-after Durendal and in turn grants any weapon he wields specs equivalent to the legendary sword’s power.
Though bearing similarities to Lancelot’s Noble Phantasm Knight of Owner, Serment de Durendal surpasses the former in that it possesses the same level of power as Durendal, and in essence treats any weapon used as if it were the original sword.
It is worth noting, however, that while it copies Durendal’s default power, the durability corresponds to the rank of the weapon he uses (mostly at rank E).

In a regular Holy Grail War, this Noble Phantasm can only be activated if Mandricardo believes his current self to be capable of wielding the true Durendal. Information regarding this Noble Phantasm is sealed and inaccessible even for his Master.
In the fifth Lostbelt, because Hektor gave him Durindana (Durendal) and because he was driven by his objective to save the friends he met on his journey, Mandricardo managed to activate this Noble Phantasm. He accomplished the miracle of thwarting Artemis’ arrow. Following this feat, Mandricardo perished.

〇 PERSONALITY

A gloomy young man who has been exposed to the vanity of life.
Mandricardo is well aware of how minor a figure he is, hence the occasional self-deprecating remarks. He’s the type to prepare a safety net for his abilities, cautious and passive in his approach.
He used to be the picture of a hero–self-important, arrogant, and imposing–until he lost a duel with Ruggiero even while equipping Hektor’s full armor. Shocked by this defeat, he has since become quite the gloomy, diffident character.

〇 ATTITUDE TOWARDS HIS MASTER

He typically adapts a True Neutral attitude. He will step in and stop excessive acts of cruelty, but due to his background as a former knight and king, he will overlook most less-severe cases.
Mandricardo is not one to initiate conversation with his Master. This inclination comes from his lack of confidence and insignificant military fame…which then produces misunderstanding since a mage Master would typically interpret this attitude as that of a Servant exercising tact.

• He is willing to follow orders that are a bit on the reckless side.
• He is always reserved and never acts out of turn.
• He is not one to engage in needless chatter even with enemies.

Why, he makes the ideal Servant indeed. “A beginner friendly Servant? Me? No no, you’ve got that wrong. Totally wrong!!”

〇 HISTORICAL BIOGRAPHY

Mandricardo was the king of Tatar (an equestrian ethnic group in the Mongolian Plateau) before he left his homeland and became an adventurer in a quest to avenge his late father. At the end of his adventure, he acquired the shield and armor of Hektor.
Hektor’s sword Durendal, however, remained in the hands of Roland, the very man who killed his father. Enraged, Mandricardo then set out wandering to find Roland.
After some twists and turns, Mandricardo eventually won both the legendary sword and the love of his life, but a duel with Ruggiero would cost him both Hektor’s armor and his very life.
Although he may have been the enemy who triggered Roland’s episode of going blind with rage and utterly naked, Mandricardo never played a part in the main plot of the narrative. While his brilliant feats were depicted in Orlando Innamorato, he was simply portrayed as one of the many obstacles standing in both Ruggiero’s and Roland’s way in Orlando Furioso.

〇 FateGO BIOGRAPHY

He used to be a king and adventurer!
After obtaining Hektor’s armor at the end of his adventure, he then set off on numerous journeys in high spirits! The quest for Durendal was one riddled with tireless fights and twists and turns. By the end of it all, Mandricardo had been exposed to the vanity of life. Treat him nicely…
In his lifetime, he wreaked havoc with an attitude of self-importance and an air of supremacy. But this changed following his defeat in the hands of Ruggiero, Bradamante’s lover. Having been slain by Ruggiero even with Hektor’s armor and Durendal at his disposal appears to have left Mandricardo traumatized. He is now diffident when interacting with his Master.
Communication, a determining key factor in a Holy Grail War, fills him with dread… Yet for some reason he gets recommended as a beginner friendly Servant.
He does regain some confidence during battle, which is perhaps his way of lifting his ego.

〇 IN ATLANTIS

Mandricardo was one of the Servants summoned in advance in Olympus. He fulfilled his missions solemnly and surely, albeit in an unexciting manner. The one who called him “beginner friendly” in a previous section [see Attitude Towards His Master] was a Servant who participated in the same mission as him.
Those summoned in advance eventually divided into two: one team of Servants would make their way to Olympus, ready to fight in do-or-die battles, while the other team would remain in Atlantis as they wait for an opportunity to turn the tides. Following an advice he received, Mandricardo decided to stay and wait for Chaldea. He would then meet somebody he could call a friend, an encounter made possible only in this Lostbelt.
Meetings and partings are all but fleeting occurrences. But without a doubt, this was a once-in-a-lifetime miracle… One so special you could devote your entire life into it and even then you’ll never know if it will come true.

Although his weapon of choice is a simple wooden sword, he can wield it to temporarily exhibit powers similar to that of Durendal’s.

Appearance-wise, I was instructed to draw him as a “cynical, loner, small-time punk”. With a wooden sword in his hand, he gave me the impression of an aggressive lone wolf. It didn’t help that his eyes looked intimidating, too... Contrary to my initial expectations, he turned out to be friend shaped! My friend!!!! Adding comedic facial expressions made him even more animated. I am particularly fond of his uneven bangs! (Ginka)

CLASS SKILL

Riding: C Habetrot is too scared to ride animals, but she can control her “Flying Multipurpose Spinning Wheel” at will.
Item Construction: B Crafting tools is also right up the alley of deft-handed Habetrot. Although she can’t create Mystic Codes, her finished outfits tend to have a tinge of Mystics to them and can be used as Craft Essences instead.
Fae Eyes: C Time begins to flow slowly by viewing reality with a faerie filter, which can come in handy when parrying critical attacks from enemies.
Tam Lin: B “Keep it between us, okay? I was actually one of the original Tam Lin!”
That said, Habetrot is a Tam Lin only by title since she became one prior to the development of Gifted Names. She doesn’t suffer any penalties from fighting fellow Tam Lins.

PERSONAL SKILLS

Weaving Threads of Fortune: A It is said that Habetrot’s spun thread attracts good fortune and that clothes woven from it can immediately grant the wearer sound health. A charm that promotes emphasis on health and wellness.
This skill grants one ally debuff immunity for one turn, as well as HP recovery and increased star generation rate. Its short recharge time allows for quick successive usage.
Speedy Spinning: B Needlework and rush orders on the daily come hand in hand. To meet a bride’s absurd demands, Habetrot would sometimes finish dresses within the same day.
This skill increases her Arts performance and generously charges her NP gauge (on the same level as High-Speed Incantation) at the cost of reducing her HP by a great amount. Handle rush orders in moderation!
Guardian of Brides: EX Undeterred by any impending adversity, predicament, or malice, Habetrot stands by her philosophy of making brides happy even if it’s the last thing she does.
This skill grants one [female] ally invincibility, guts, and healing regeneration, as well as removes any ailment debuffs (curse, burn, poison). …After usage, Habetrot will perish.

Spinster Habetrot, also known as the Habbycat Cannon.
Habetrot’s original Noble Phantasm [Bridal Spinning Wheel] is a dress that accentuates a bride. However, due to various circumstances, it has been changed into an insane cannon that fires insane shots.
Magical energy is generated through the Flying Spinning Wheel rather than a Magical Reactor when Habetrot uses it. This Noble Phantasm then turns into a physical weapon that fires in the form of a railgun. The concept of natural span does not apply to it.
(Chaldea summoned Habetrot from Proper Human History, so she might not have any idea as to why this weapon is stored within her soul.)

〇 Personality
Habetrot can be described as introverted yet active. She shies from asserting herself but is driven in her approach when it comes to what she must do and wants to do. She likes good people and hates the wicked. Although she can distinguish good from evil as someone Neutral-aligned, she doesn’t fixate on which side counts as superior. This stems from how she generally doesn’t hate others.
Habetrot’s values are reflected as such: Peace is comfortable and much preferable, whereas conflict is draining and awful. As a general rule, let Habetrot enjoy her sewing and needlework and she’s a happy faerie.
Be it Proper Human History Habetrot or Lostbelt Habetrot, her nature proves consistent. Whenever she finds a girl she feels is the one (someone she feels has the right to become a happy bride), she pulls out all the stops to care for and support her. Habetrot refers to such girls as “my brides.” Either she will set out to find another bride immediately after sending off the former, or if she finds one more good candidate while already attending to another bride, Habetrot will become engrossed in supporting both. This has led to some describing her as easily infatuated.
Habetrot won’t admit it, but she’s a bundle of devotion. The way this faerie tends to prioritize her brides’ happiness over her own illustrates her self-sacrificing trait.
〇 Habetrot in Faerie Britain
She appears as a spinster faerie in the Fragment chapters. Together with Aesc the Savior, they settled disputes all over Britain. Habetrot’s fate changed significantly when she met Mash, who rayshifted to Fae Era Year 400… Or rather, this faerie made every effort possible to overcome her fate.
When Aesc the Savior and the original Tam Lin stepped down the stage, Habetrot roamed Britain alone and popularized the culture of wedding traditions, sending off many brides in the process.
By the time the new High Queen Era was adopted, Habetrot turned herself into a stone inside a twisted hole in the north and would stay asleep until a certain encounter in 2017. After ever so nonchalantly saving Mash in Sheffield, she would then guide the Master of Chaldea to Orkney, coming to terms with the choice she made.
She originally went by the name Totorot in the Lostbelt and only began calling herself Habetrot after waking up from her stone slumber. The reason for this is that she came to admire Proper Human History Habetrot’s way of life from the legends Mash taught her.

Habetrot was originally a wild hooligan of the Wing Clan and became a member of Aesc’s party following her defeat in their duel. (Although a spinster faerie by nature, she had no means of fulfilling her innate purpose of sending off human brides in the Lostbelt. This “existential conflict” tormented her, giving rise to displaced emotions that turned her into a wild hooligan.) From that point onward, she would achieve exploits as one of the original Tam Lin who fought alongside Aesc the Savior.
The Fragment chapters also reveal that the name “Mash” was written on Mash’s shield in chalk. This was done by Habetrot. When she asked her to show the shield, she deftly wrote Mash’s name on it. The use of a tailor’s chalk is proof that it was Habetrot’s doing.

Brides are “treasures” in Habetrot’s eyes because she is a faerie that will never grow into adulthood. She longs to become a bride herself, but that is a wish never to come true. So at the very least, she wants to protect the future of the beautiful girls she falls in love with at first sight. This could be seen as compensatory behavior on Habetrot’s part, or perhaps, as her radiant dream. “Maybe one day… No, scratch that. I wish I could become like them, too.”

Habetrot is a spinster faerie from Scottish folklore said to weave cloth with thread spun from cotton flowers and flax fibers and to make garments out of it. She is often portrayed as a small hunched old lady the size of a human child. Habetrot is also known as a faerie that helps women who are preparing for married life and tailors gown on behalf of busy brides–in other words, every bride’s dream faerie.
In addition to that, clothes woven by Habetrot are considered to be imbued with a mysterious power that relieves its wearer of their illness.

Aesc I used to be hot-tempered, you see. Communication wasn’t my strong point, and all I could do was take my mood out on everyone around me. Despite my shortcomings, Aesc met me at my level with sincerity and invited me to travel the world together. The spell she hit me with hurt like hell, but even that pain has become a fond memory of mine!
…Which was why I was rooting for her happiness. I really was.
Mash Mash is my number one drive. She’s the one who gave my life a purpose, from the turning point to my goal. Whatever awaits us in the future, I’ll practice extensively and build as much experience as possible, all in hopes of gifting her a wedding dress as radiant as the stars with a touch of some words of gratitude.

〇 Plot Notes (Please read after clearing LB6)
Throughout their pilgrimage across Faerie Britain, the broken Black Barrel was stowed hidden inside the Spinning Wheel Habetrot rode. It ceased to function the moment they set foot in the isles and suffered further damages after being forcibly used.
During the siege of Sheffield, Mash’s “aversion to fighting”, which lay hidden in her subconscious, prompted her to abandon the Black Barrel. Habetrot happened to be around when she did and stole it from under their enemy Beryl’s nose. She then chose to continue their journey all the while hiding what she did even from Mash.
Habetrot's actions may seem motivated by curiosity and greed at a glance, but that is not the case. Simply being in possession of cutting-edge machinery, such as the Black Barrel, is in fact poison to faeries. Nevertheless, she held onto it for safekeeping until the very end all because of a hunch that Mash would one day need it.
Habetrot continued to guard the Black Barrel unbeknownst to anyone, even as it chipped away at her Spirit Origin, all so that she could send it as a gift for her dear friend Mash’s future.

COMMENT FROM THE ARTIST

Since she’s a spinster faerie, I tried incorporating spinning wheel elements into her outfit and equipment. Doing so had been a struggle, and it wasn't until I saw how she was portrayed sewing and dressmaking in the story that I thought, “Oh… I could have expanded my interpretation like that!” It kinda made me reflect on my inability to think outside the box.
By the way, the mount design is inspired not by sushi…but in fact a goldfish. No special reason, I just figured something tiny and cute would be fitting. It would make my day to know you like Habbycat. (Hirai Yukio)

This time I'm reworking my recent (and first) champion, Artheos. At first it was only a gameplay full change of direction, but I decided to rework the lore too, which I saw as kinda rushed. Now it includes canon too, in relation to a certain someone - I hope you like it!

Summary: In life, he was an ordinary man of the arts who had much ambition. His demise came early as his lover took his life by accident. As his humanity faded away in the afterlife, he started taking advantage of the souls of the dead to consume their misery and strengthen himself enough to persist centuries after death. One day, he was able to materialize once again, raised an army, and now plans to conquer all of the mortal world, for he will never be forgotten again.
Author's Note: Though I really liked old Artheos lore as it was pretty original, it was edgy enough to be edgy but not really meaningful. I went all out writing this new lore. Reworked Artheos is modeled after athazagoraphobia, which is the very specific fear of being forgotten. He is also a demon in the literal sense of the definition, as he feeds off of despair. Before dying, Artheos is supposed to be Eduard Santangelo, AKA Ahri's lover in lore.
Note that Artheos is intentionally designed to be edgy and wrathful, almost like Aatrox in a way. After all, both of them have gone through sensory deprivation hell in their own ways. It also serves in contrast to the more playful Ahri, and the witty, comedic human that he once was.

Gameplay

Concept
Artheos is supposed to be a DPS type, mobile melee champion. Technically an assassin, but his playstyle stats resemble that of an specialist - high damage, high mobility, middling control but severely lacking in utility and toughness.
Much like the original concept, he deals hybrid damage - AP, AD, and even true damage are implemented in his kit.
He relies purely on his lifesteal and mobility to survive, as he is very squishy otherwise. His main characteristic is really high damage and single-target lockdown consistently throughout the match. He suffers a lot against CC.
Artheos is, like the original version, a midlaner. He would also work excellent in the jungle. Maybe even a good off-meta pick for toplane? Not guaranteed, though.
Basic Kit
Passive: His basic attacks alternate between slashes and stabs. Slashes deal physical damage, while stabs have additional range but deal a lesser amount of magic damage. Artheos cannot deal critical strikes, instead, he turns crit chance into a percentage of lifesteal. (Three effects: hybrid damage + no crits + lifesteal)
Q: Passively converts a portion of all of Artheos' ability damage into true damage. Active has two activations but both are AOE skillshots which deal more damage + small lockdown when hitting in specific areas of the skillshot. Enemies very close to the edge of the skillshot are also briefly knocked up. (Three effects: damage-dealing, true damage, lockdown)
W: The first activation is a short blink. The second activation is a short range straight line stab which deals a very small amount of hybrid damage but executes instead if the enemy is very low on health. (Three effects: hybrid damage, blink, execute)
E: For a brief amount of time, Artheos gains movement speed, attack speed, ghosting and is able to go through terrain. (Three effects: ignore collisions, MS, AS)
R: Passively marks enemies that were hit by the sweet spots of his Q or the stab in the W. Active is a point-and-click ability that dashes him to the marked enemy, and suppresses them while making himself untargetable for a short amount of time, after which he deals a good chunk of max-health-based true damage and heals himself for the same amount. (Three effects: true damage, CC, self-heal)

Q: Part / Slay

• Part / Slay has two activations. Artheos can activate this ability two times before the ability goes on cooldown, with no cooldown between casts. If Artheos does not cast the second activation within 5 seconds of the previous cast, it goes on cooldown automatically.

PASSIVE: A percentage of all damage dealt by Artheos' spells is converted into 🗡️True Damage, scaling with the ability's rank.

FIRST CAST - PART: Artheos slams his sword down into the target location at melee range, dealing ⚔️ Physical Damage to enemies hit within a reverse cone range. Enemies closer to the edge of the blade's range are dealt more (up to 200%)⚔️ damage. Enemies on the far end of the blade's range are also ⬆️ knocked up for one second.

Thought Process Behind Kit

Author's note!
His Q is supposed to be his bread and butter damage-dealing and teamfighting ability. Hitting his max range Q1s and centered Q2s is an ability every Artheos player would have to master in order to do well. Every champ has their staple spammable ability, this is his.
His W is a two-part ability, as mentioned above. It can be used as an engage or an execute (or both!). The first cast is supposed to help him land the second, lower range, cast. However, it can also be used for other short-range-blink matters, which makes it quite versatile if not for the long cooldown.
His E allows him to basically gain noclip which is great for chase downs as well as roaming, and makes him have really good ganks when he goes jungle.
His R is his most devastating, destructive ability and what functionally makes him into a specialist as it is a persistent threat that depends on enemy cooldown knowledge. It is a large amount of single-target lockdown, damage and a self-heal, though it also depends on the Artheos player hitting his Q sweetspots or using his W2.

Pros and Cons

Once again, following the '3 minute guide' template with 4 pros and 2 cons.
Pros:

• Hypercarry: If allowed to scale his damage properly, he can easily carry via massive amounts of hybrid damage, melting through tanks and squishies alike.
• Roaming and Chase God: Artheos has a blink and a collission ignore in his hand, which makes him great in both teamfights and for roaming/ganking. This effect is lessened greatly if caught on cooldowns.
• Safe Laner: His passive lifesteal gives him insane sustain, which makes his laning phase safer than usual. This, combined with his mobility, makes him very safe.
• Consistently Strong: Artheos has a good early game, and can scale greatly into the late game if allowed.

Cons:

• Lockdown Is Evil: Any champions with hard CC or other type of single-target lockdown are Artheos' nightmare, as this erases his ability to stay on extended fights and he can just be deleted since he's very squishy.
• Unforgiving: Because of his squishy nature, he's easy to punish for bad decisions. On top of that, while he does not necessarily need to snowball or get fed, if he falls behind, he will struggle more than other champions due to his reliance on levels and items to dish out the damage needed.

Combos

Artheos has many good combos. A good all-rounder is to start with a max-range Q1 then a centered Q2 and spam away with autoattacks, using W1 and E to chase then W2 to execute.
Post-level six, you can use your max-range Q1 to engage, use autoattacks and use ult when you're low on health or the enemy is and they try to escape. If they're not dead after this, execute with W2.
Artheos' all in starts with Q1 into W1 into autoattacks, afterward, Q2 into more autoattacks, using W2 or Ultimate to execute.
You can also start any combo with W1 to gap close and E to chase them down or go through minions and terrain.

Match Ups

For midlane match ups, Artheos does really well into squishy assassins and short-range mages which he can easily blow up and out-scale respectively. However, he can struggle into long-range or controller mages who can poke him without him being able to trade back.
Very Easy match up examples: Kassadin, Akali, Fizz
Easy match up examples: Aurelion Sol, Veigar, Katarina
Skill match up examples: Ahri, Zed, Viktor
Hard match up examples: Lux, Hwei, Syndra
Very Hard match up examples: Xerath, Zoe, Azir

Runes

For Runes, Artheos can either go Precision or Domination rune paths.
Precision: Press the Attack as a keystone then Triumph, Legend: Haste and Cut Down as lesser runes.
Domination: Hail of Blades as a keystone, then Sudden Impact, Eyeball Collection, and Ultimate Hunter as lesser runes.
For secondary paths you may want to take either Precision/Domination (depending on your main rune path) or Inspiration.
Inspiration: Take Magical Footwear, Biscuit Delivery and Cosmic Insight.

Builds

As Artheos builds hybrid, he has some freedom to pick and choose different builds for different situations. He can build assassin, mage, or even more bruiser-y by picking different items.
As he cannot deal crits, crit items make him bruiser-like with tons of sustain through lifesteal instead of an AD carry.
Armor and defensive items are quite frankly useless on Artheos as spending thousands of gold on these items will make Artheos just as tanky as a level six juggernaut...
For starter items Artheos will likely want to build Doran's Blade against match ups he can easily poke with Q1 and Doran's Ring against match ups that he CANNOT easily poke with Q1 and should use Q2 instead (see: long range mages).
His canon sword, the Lich Bane, is a really good AP item for Artheos as he wants to use abilities AND autoattacks to deal damage, thus it is easy to proc and much worth. Guinsoo's, Kraken, Bork and Wit's End are other items which are great value for him.
He can also pick up some other ADC-inclined items like Infinity Edge or Mercurial Scimitar to be more bruiser-like (with Mercurial being amazing value as it also has QSS to counter Artheos' worst nightmare - hard CC).
For tier 2 boots, he would likely pick up Ionians, however situationally Berserkers and Mercury's would be good pickups too depending on matchu ps.

Build Idea

A good all-rounder build would be to start Doran's Blade and pot into Lich Bane and tier 2 boots. After this, QSS into Scimitar or BF sword into Infinity Edge are great pick ups, followed by Wit's End and for ending items BORK, Guinsoo's, Guardian Angel or Zhonya's as needed.

Intended Skill Order

For mid, go Q>W>E then max out Q>W>E taking R whenever possible
For jungle, go Q>E>W then max out Q>E>W taking R whenever possible
For top, go Q>E>W then max out Q>W>E taking R whenever possible

Summoner Spells

For Summoner Spells take Flash and Teleport. Depending on lane and match ups, replace Flash with Ghost (Top Artheos), or Teleport with either Smite (Jungler Artheos) or Cleanse (cc-heavy match up).

Let me tell you, Breezy in its prime was one of the best quarantine pastimes. The people, the sillyness of it all, the mods being fun. it was a tightly knit community of people who would usually log on around the same times every day, it was awesome. Everybody knew each other, most people were friends, I was one of the people who got to spend a lot of time with the mods, and had a decent friendship with Twitter. Breezy, the youtuber who the server was made for, would even hop online sometimes. Life was good. Alas the server got too big for its own good. The tightly knit community started to turn into a popular place for ill willed humans to gather. So many terrible people made their way into the community, real crimes were happening on the server. Suicide, doxxing, identity theft, you name it. Lots of people were bullied, lot's of things went wrong. Due to the game's poor restrictions, lots of these people were impossible to get rid of. At this point, I spent a lot less time on Breezytown, however, I had lots of real interesting experiences before I did leave. I watched one of the mods, Dostluck, say some very questionable things to people that she knew were minors. Most of these things happened through sexual roleplays that she would start with other players, and I witnessed one go on for over an hour. One of my friends at the time, even told me that she roleplayed raping her??? If you look Dost up on youtube, or twitter, I came to the conclusion that she was around a college level student in engineering and was possibly working on a degree. I talked to her significant other at the time, the other server mod. Twitter, and they agreed that this had to stop. Eventually it would come to light to the rest of the community that Dostluck was a pedo. Twitter knew about her suspicious activity and tried to confront her on multiple occasions. However I don't think these attempts made a real difference. However, Dost never faced any punishment. I'm not certain as to why, but it seems like either Twitter was put in a rough spot with their relationship and mod job, and took things into their own hands, or the actual ponytown mods just didn't care. The ponytown mods are notoriously not nice people. I wasn't around for the end of moderation on Breezytown, but from what I can gather, the mods were most likely forced to step away from being active in the community, and moderation just kind of ended. And unfortunatley, the story that I have just kind of stops there. I have lost contact with pretty much everybody I knew on the server, and the most important person, Twitter, is nowhere to be seen. Their discord @ is epsilonnn, but I haven't seen them in forever. I think that one of the most offputting parts of the whole situation, is that a couple of people Bree used to have on videos, would hang out with Dostluck. I'm not accusing these people of being in on the whole pedo thing, but it definitely is a little shady, especially when multiple people who weren't mods knew about it. I seriously hope that everybody who was hurt by people in this server are doing better now, and may this be a lesson as to how a safe space can turn into a danger zone. -Curious G.

To be honest I was planning to write a whole separate essay about Arcanism and arcanists and their true nature in regards to "Being" (Friedrich Hölderlin's conception of it which Schelling also used in his philosophy. The structure of the relationship of subject to object in consciousness as grounded in a whole of which subject;our self-consciousness and object;things external to it as parts of the whole.) and the manifestation of their "Will" (in Schopenhaurian sense) through arcanism. But this might be a perfect time to address things that needed to be addressed.
Since I don't think one could completely understand the root of the problem regarding Jiu and pretty much arcanists in general as inherently beings that seeks the "freedom of nature" as their whole existence oppose to human reason to begin with.
This might be long so I hope you bare with my exposition if you have time to spare. Although I strongly recommend to also do your own critical research since some terms will be complicated if you're new to it, which I could relate to since I'm also learning myself. But I'll try to make it easier to understand without downplaying the ideas. Obviously as just a theory of my own, it's your own choice to reflect if the interpretations have any truth or not pertaining to the story. If you hate reading and engaging the story's narrative to begin with, then this might not help you that much.

Thing-in-itself, Being, and God

If you're someone familiar with continental philosophy then you might have an idea that concerns a whole debate in philosophy that had sparked for hundreds- perhaps even thousand of years even dating back to Plato's Theory of Forms, proceeding to the cessation of the belief on polytheistic Hellenism, the birth of Christianity in the first century into the modern era, following the Enlightenment Era and the philosophical revolution that took place in it. Especially the German idealism revolution contributed to the awakening of humanity's "self-consciousness" that consequentially brought to realized the surfacing doubts regarding our knowledge of the "Thing-in-itself"; that is if they are truly knowable to us. (about the "true" knowledge of nature and the external world outside of our conception of them, if they are truly knowable or unknowable within only our senses intuition and to our understanding of them. Or that if they even truly exist beyond our own conception of them.) This "awakening" also partially contributed to the complete separation of the Roman catholic and the government that gave way to the Romantic era, not downplaying the French revolution and the Napoleonic wars that ultimately materialized the ideals and freedom of the people into reality of that time.
This "thing-in-itself" was fiercely debated by many philosophers throughout history, concerning the existence of the soul, reincarnation, and ultimately of God if they are truly logically or spiritually graspable by our understanding.

The "finite" and the "infinite" within ourselves.) also open up the importance of Insights and "Intellectual Intuition" or as some of the post-Kantian Philosophers called as the "Absolute" (in Schellingian sense rather than Hegel's).

Compared to the use of Intellectual Intuition by the more systematical philosophers like Friedrich Schelling in his "Naturphilosophie" of the "Absolute" (which is more identical to Holderlin's "Being", that we seek meaning of our self-consciousness through nature).

We've already seen countless example of arcanists struggling and suffering within human society norms, and hence they live in a state of seclusion. But what ultimately contributes to their disbelief of humanity is when those moral rules created by humanity easily bow down to them if they deemed it necessary for themselves. To that, humanity exposes themselves as being a bunch of hypocrites!

Jiu Niangzu and the schism of Double Identity and the "Will"

Adding to that, running a liquor store was also a mistake and any Dionysian tendencies she experienced would further led her astray to her path as a Xiangrui.)
The Daoist sealed her power for these reasons. whether you think it as an act of pity of the child, ill motivation towards humanity, or as a penultimate act of judgment towards the world itself after the separation - That is if Jiu, a Luxu could still find balance to live with humanity; as if leaving destiny to the "the way" itself. Perhaps one of those, all of those, or none of those. The truth is open to interpretation.
Nevertheless, this opposing dualism of Jiu's self-identity of seeking one's essence, and the impeding opposition of identities between reason and nature; that is one in partaking of human morality, the other her true essence as a Luxu, and to become a Xiangrui in granting the joy and people's wishes as the answer she seek in consolidating her conflicted self and the current world. (one could say that the over romanticisation of the gods from human perspective in their story adds distortion to her true identity.)

Unable to consciously control her arcanum, the materialization of the "Shape of Will" is the proof of this uncontrollable passion of the "Will" of nature seeking its freedom. As she herself is a "thing-in-itself" - an arcane being that is beyond our reason. The materialization of her "Will" through her arcanum is instilled in the creation of her wooden dolls as I believe it is a part of her being. And we've saw that this wooden dolls harbors some grudge towards humanity. ( and this theme of nature's grudge against reason and vice versa have been already a recurring theme of the story.)

In conclusion, people who fail to see the ever apparent motif regarding the dichotomy of nature and reason will completely fail to understand Jiu Niangzu as simply a victim of this ongoing tragedy of their world. The tragedy resulting from the separation of gods and humanity's "self-proclaimed" attainment of self-conscious autonomy of leading ones life without relying on "thing-in-itself".
But pessimism aside, how beautifully divine was this whole scene? For the "final coming" of the Xiangrui brought down to the world below, had her own troubles, pains, confusion, and hardships eventually overcoming them. As she performs the final miracle that restores the people's faith (albeit temporarily) bridging them once again to the heaven's abode.

33MtF. I've been trying to think of how to word this but I'm not sure if I got it down so I'm just going for it. This will be a really long post and I'm not gonna add a tldr. Also added possible trigger tag because I'll be describing some things from the past that might be triggering for some but I'll try to keep these things to a minimum.
So I've been on HRT for a lil over a year now and it's to the point where I don't really think I can hide it anymore. So I've been trying to work up the courage to come out to my parents. I have a group of close friends that knows but they're the only ones I've told. I live in a small rural town in a very red state and both my parents are extremely conservative. In the past years they've said some very transphobic and homophobic things. Three years ago I went through a really bad divorce and my ex outed me as pan to my parents which caused some major issues for a bit but in the end it was kinda left at well, what you do in your private life is your business as long as we don't hear about it. After the divorce I started going to therapy for various reasons but I was also at the point where my egg was starting to crack and all of my repressed feelings were starting to come to the surface.
When I was younger for Halloween I wanted to dress as a female character and my dad said no son of his would ever wear that and if I did he'd beat me within an inch of my life. (Exact words. My parents were big on the whole "spare the rod, spoil the child" philosophy when I was growing up.) And there was another time when I was a teenager I had mentioned to my mother I wanted my ears pierced and when my dad found out he said he would rip them outta my ears. My dad was a very angry person when I was younger. And when I was 16 I had went to a party with some friends and I ended up getting intimate with someone and when my parents found out I was kicked out of the house. Fortunately my grandparents took me in but as a condition I was forced to go to a Christian school.
Long story short it really didn't work out, I got into drugs and alcohol really bad and my life just spiraled from there until I found out I was going to be a parent. I had done some self exploration during that time and I had told my partner that I found out I was pan and that I felt like I wanted to be a woman, that I wasn't happy with being a man. She had asked if I was just into crossdressing and not having the knowledge I have now I just went with that and she was supportive in private and it stayed private. My relationship with my parents started to somewhat improve over the years after me and my ex partner got married and my relationship with family was good overall. Until the divorce when I was outed anyways.
My mom has made the most improvement and we actually get along great now. Actually I think she already suspects I'm trans as she has completely stopped calling me things like handsome and instead started calling me pretty and beautiful. She's taken to just calling me by name instead of saying my son or he/him. When she found out I was doing makeup she started giving me tips and started pointing out different outfits and all tats. My dad however has kinda had this standoffish attitude towards me and had really doubled down on trying to make sure I was super masculine and trying to get me to engage in more masculine activities and such. That was until early March. He had a massive heart attack and ended up in the hospital for nearly two weeks, it almost killed him and he had to have major surgery. I was out with my friends when my mom called me the next day after he got out of surgery. I had no idea anything was going on and since I had been out with my friends I was all in my fem clothes. I had them take me straight back to my car and all I did was wash my makeup off in the parking lot of the hospital when I got there. Anyways after we was able to talk he said he was sorry for everything when I was a kid. How he treated us growing up, throwing me out of the house, everything. We talked about it for two hours and then I went home and cried and tried to process all the emotions that hit me all at once.
And then on what would've been mothers day weekend I wanted to go shopping with my mom and the doctors had told my dad walking would help him with his rehab so he came along with us to mall. He said he was getting tired so he would just wait in the food court for me and my mom to get back so off we went. When we got back to the food court he had two small bags. One was perfume for my mom and the other was a bag from Hot Topic. He handed me that one and said here, I thought you might like these. When I opened it was was two different sets of earrings. It was all I could do to keep myself together as I didn't really know how to feel and all sorts of emotions started hitting me at once. I was able to hold it together and told him thank you and that they were really nice. Anyways after that I went back home and locked myself in my room, took the earrings out of the bag and just started crying and I cried for several hours until I fell asleep. It was something I never expected to happen and it just did out of nowhere. I haven't worn the earrings yet I just kinda take them out of the bag and stare at them from time to time over the last couple weeks.
This brings me to my coming out. I've been trying to figure it out since I started hrt and I've always chickened out of found some excuse not to. But not to long before my dad's medical stuff I was starting to plan how I would do it and the only thing I could think is I'll just do i during pride month. I want to invite them out to lunch on Saturday and do it then. I need some resources that they could read and I'm not sure exactly how I would answer their questions if they have any. All I could really think is if things go bad I'll just cut them off for good and never speak to them again. I'm really hoping it doesn't come to that and I'm hoping things go well but I keep having doubts and I keep wanting to not come out but at this point it's a necessity for me but I keep hesitating even though something inside of me is telling me this is the right time to do it. I'm really looking for advice on how other people went about it and I could really use some encouragement because I keep wanting to back out even though I've already made up my mind to do it this Saturday. I could just really use some help with this one.

I feel like I have some kind of emotional deficiency that has held me back from being able to build any healthy romantic relationships. Both my parents were emotionally aloof, although not actively abusive. The trauma my sibling and I endured was more of a benign neglect if that makes sense, and poverty.
I have only ever been in one "real" relationship although I've dated and had a handful of true loves, almost none of them have been in the context of a relationship. I'm emotionally guarded. How do I get myself to open up more? I want to be a warm, affectionate person who is able to connect and find a life partner. One of my past partners has told me I'm so loving, but then why didn't they want to commit to me? Why have I struggled to build that connection with anyone else? Any ideas? The majority of the people I have dated over the last couple years, I have not connected deeply with. Is this because those deep connections are rare, or because I have been operating in a way that doesn't allow this to happen? I think I am probably disconnected from my feelings and that's why I have entertained connections that didn't create a deep emotional connection. I feel like I don't even know what a deep emotional connection is. I feel like I don't know how a relationship is supposed to work, or how to "be" in a relationship.
I just turned 30F, and still recovering emotionally from a situation-ship where I was led on for the better part of a year. They were the first person I genuinely loved in several years, and so kind and gentle, I'm devastated to lose them and that after spending so much time together and telling them my story that few people get to hear, they didn't develop romantic feelings for me.
I have also been struggling with pretty severe acne for the better part of the past year as well. It's finally getting under control, but here I am single and with the residual scars to deal with. They will mostly fade with time, but it's impacting my self-esteem and I feel my dating prospects.
I'm afraid I don't even fully understand this emotional deficiency, like I don't even understand the breadth of it, so how am I supposed to fix it?

ORDER

1. The Debtor shall not exercise the right to vote in favor of the proposal to dismiss Director A in the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders (including annual and special meetings) of Corporation C to be convened on May 31, 2024, with the shares listed in the appendix.
2. pay KRW 20,000,000,000 to the creditor if the debtor violates the order in paragraph 1.
3. dismiss the rest of the creditor's motion.
4. The debtor shall bear the costs of the proceedings.

Purpose of the Motion
Order No. 1 and order the debtor to pay the creditor KRW 30,000,000,000 if the debtor violates the order in Order No. 1.
Reasons
The record and the hearing as a whole show that the following facts are proved.
A. The creditor is a director and representative director of C (hereinafter referred to as "C") and a shareholder holding 573,160 shares (17.8% equity ratio) out of the total number of 3,220,000 issued shares of C. The Debtor is a shareholder holding 2,576,000 shares of C's issued shares (80% ownership).
B. The creditor joined the debtor's predecessor company, D, as a "Chief Brand Officer (CBO)" in January 2019, and was appointed as a director and CEO of C on November 2, 2021, when C was established. By that time, the Debtor owned all of the outstanding shares of C.
C. On November 11, 2021, the creditor, the debtor, and C entered into a business agreement. The MOU included, among other things, that the debtor granted the creditor 1) stock purchase options for 10% of the total issued shares of C; 2) the right to sell the shares of C acquired by the creditor through the exercise of the above stock purchase options to the debtor at a price of 13 times the average operating income of C; and 3) the right to receive a bonus of 5% of the total issued shares of C multiplied by a certain threshold amount or to be granted additional stock purchase options in exchange for the above bonus if C is listed.
D. C's girl group, "E," debuted in F. E gained significant popularity immediately after its debut, and C recorded sales of approximately 18.6 billion won and operating loss of approximately 4 billion won in 2022, and sales of approximately 102 billion won and operating income of approximately 33.5 billion won in 2023, respectively.
d. On March 27, 2023, the Debtor sold 573,160 shares (17.8% of C's outstanding shares) to the creditor at a price of KRW 6,522 per share (approximately 1.3 times the par value) and entered into a shareholders' agreement (hereinafter referred to as the "Shareholders' Agreement") with the creditor and C on the same day. The following sections of the Shareholders' Agreement are relevant to this case.
Article 2 Matters relating to the management of C
2.1 Appointment of Representative Director and Directors
(a) Unless the Creditor commits an act that constitutes grounds for removal of a director under commercial law, such as committing an act in violation of the Articles of Incorporation, laws and regulations, or this Agreement is terminated, the Debtor shall appoint a representative director for a period of five years from November 2, 2021, the date of C's establishment.

1. for a period of five (5) years from the date of establishment of C. The Debtor shall take necessary measures, including exercising the voting rights of the shares held in the main shareholders' meeting of C, so that the Debtor can continue to hold the position of CEO and inside director of C.

(c) The debtor may require the creditor to resign from the position of CEO and/or inside director, in which case the creditor shall resign from the position of CEO and/or inside director without delay if any of the following occurs

1. the creditor intentionally and grossly negligently causes damage to C of KRW 1 billion or more
2. the creditor has materially breached this Agreement
3. the Creditor has committed fraud, embezzlement, or other misconduct in connection with the operation of C.
4. In the event of any other material disqualification for the performance of duties as a representative director

Article 3 Termination of Business Agreement, etc.
3.1 The Debtor, C and the Creditor agree to terminate the Business Agreement dated November 11, 2021 upon the execution of this Agreement.
The above Business Agreement shall be replaced by the Stock Purchase Agreement dated March 27, 2023 between the Creditor and the Debtor.
shall cease to be effective prospectively on the Closing Date.
Article 5 Creditor's Right to Put Option
5.1 A Creditor may, on a one-time basis during the period from the third anniversary of the date of incorporation of C to the tenth anniversary of the date of incorporation of C, make a written request to the Debtor to purchase such shares (hereinafter referred to as the "Put Option") in respect of a number of shares equal to 75% of the issued shares of C held by the Creditor at that time.
5.3 Upon receipt by the Creditor of the Put Notice, a sale and purchase agreement shall be deemed to have been entered into between the Creditor and the Designated Buyer with the following terms and conditions

Article 10 Covenants
10.3 Creditor's Covenants
The Creditor covenants to the Debtor as follows
(a) The Creditor shall fulfill its duties of loyalty to C as a representative director and executive director of C, and shall not intentionally or grossly negligently take any action that may cause damage to C and other affiliated companies in the Debtor's corporate group.
(c) The Creditor shall cause the Debtor to be notified in writing without undue delay of any material adverse effect on C and of any major business event.
(e) The Creditor shall have been employed by C for a period of at least five (5) years as of the date of incorporation of C and shall not, during the foregoing period and/or while this Agreement is in effect, without the prior written consent of the Debtor and C, directly or indirectly (including through a related party) (i) engage in any business that is the same or similar to the business engaged in by the Debtor, C and its Affiliates, whether domestically or internationally (hereinafter referred to as the "Non-Compete Business"), or (ii) establish a company that engages in a non-competitive business; (iii) invest in, lend equity to, or merge with a company that engages in a non-competitive business; or (iv) engage in any form of engagement, including as an advisor, consultant, or advisor, whether or not compensated, with any company, business, or entity that engages in a non-competitive business.
Article 11 Effect of the Agreement, etc.
11.2 Termination
If any of the following events occur to either Party, the other Party may terminate this Agreement by written notice to the responsible Party.

(a) a material breach of this Agreement to the extent that the purpose of this Agreement cannot be fulfilled (provided, however, that if such breach is remediable, the breach is not cured within 14 days after receiving a request from the other party to remedy such breach).
Article 12 Miscellaneous
12.9 Confidentiality
Each Party shall, during the term of this Agreement and after termination of this Agreement, keep strictly confidential (a) the existence and content of this Agreement, (b) the negotiations in connection with this Agreement, and (c) all information and materials of a confidential nature obtained from the other Party or otherwise in the course of entering into and performing this Agreement (hereinafter referred to as "Confidential Information"). Each Party shall, to the minimum extent necessary, disclose to its employees performing duties in connection with this Agreement (1) with the prior written consent of the other Party, (2) if required by law to disclose to any governmental or regulatory agency, (3) if required to disclose in any judicial or administrative proceeding arising out of or relating to this Agreement, or (iv) subject to the same obligations as provided in this Article with respect to the information disclosed, agents, advisors, and other relevant persons, and shall not disclose or provide the Confidential Information to any third party or use it for any purpose other than the Business.
b. From around December 2023, the Creditor requested the Debtor to amend the Shareholders' Agreement, raising issues regarding the non-compete covenant stipulated in paragraph (e) of Article 10.3 of the Shareholders' Agreement and the fact that the purchase price per share upon exercise of the put option in Article 5.3 of the Shareholders' Agreement is based on 13 times the operating income of C. Accordingly, negotiations on the amendment of the Shareholders' Agreement were conducted between the Creditor and the Debtor until around G.
G. "I", a girl group belonging to another subsidiary of the Debtor, H (hereinafter referred to as "H"), made its debut in G.
On April 3, 2024, the creditor sent an email to the debtor and H, raising the issue that "I's concept, styling, choreography, etc. are similar to those of E". Attached to the above email was an opinion letter dated March 31, 2024 from the legal representatives of the members of E to the creditor, expressing concern about the similarity of E and I and the discriminatory treatment of E by the debtor.
In response, the CEO of H replied to the effect that 'we need time to prepare a response, and it is taking more time than expected because we are trying to prepare a good response'.
Now. On April 16, 2024, the creditor sent another email to the debtor, raising issues regarding "the debtor's 'record pushing' (the practice of artificially inflating the initial sales of records by using record distributors or overseas subsidiaries), the debtor's discriminatory treatment of E, and the similarity of I and E."
On the other hand, on the same day, H replied to the creditor by email, stating that it did not copy the choreography of E, nor did it use E or conduct marketing comparing it to E. The debtor also sent an email to C on the same day, stating that it would promptly review C's complaint and requested that the debtor arrange a meeting with the legal representatives of the members of E to communicate directly with them.
Ch. On April 22, 2024, C's auditor sent a letter to C stating that it "intends to conduct an investigation into C's business and property status and request a report on its operations from the creditor." On the same day, the debtor's audit committee also sent a letter to C stating that it "intends to conduct an investigation into C's business and property status and request a report on its operations from the creditor because it is concerned that C's management, including the creditor, has breached its duty of care and loyalty, which may significantly impair C's corporate value. On the same day, the debtor demanded that the creditor resign as C's CEO and requested that C's board of directors convene an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders for the purpose of "proposing to dismiss the creditor as an executive director of C" (hereinafter referred to as "the case proposal").
C. On April 25, 2024, the debtor applied to the Seoul Western District Court for permission to convene the shareholders' meeting of C with the agenda of the case as the purpose of the meeting (Seoul Western District Court 2024 B.S. No. 1037). C. The creditor held a press conference on April 25, 2024, and the creditor's remarks at the press conference included the statement that "I or H copied and plagiarized E" and the non-compete covenant in Article 10.3 (e) of the Shareholders' Agreement.
Par. On April 25, 2024, the Debtor filed a complaint with the Seoul Yongsan Police Station accusing the Creditor and J, an executive director of C, of "business misconduct," and on May 14, 2024, the Debtor filed an additional complaint with the Seoul Yongsan Police Station accusing the Creditor, J, and K, the head of C's style directing team, of "business misconduct.
h. C held a board meeting on May 10, 2024, and resolved to convene a general meeting of shareholders on May 31, 2024, for the purpose of considering this case (hereinafter, the general meeting of shareholders scheduled to be held pursuant to the above resolution is referred to as the 'general meeting of shareholders').

1. summary of the parties' arguments

A. Creditor

1. The Debtor is obliged to take the necessary measures, including exercising its voting rights with respect to the issued shares of C held by the Debtor at the shareholders' meeting of C, in order to ensure that the Debtor can retain its position as an executive director of C for a period of five years from November 2, 2021, pursuant to Article 2.1(a) of the Shareholders' Agreement in this case, and is therefore obliged not to exercise its voting rights in favor of the proposal to dismiss the Debtor at the shareholders' meeting in this case.
2. The part (a) of Article 2.1(1) of the Shareholders' Agreement in this case stating that "unless the creditor has committed acts that constitute grounds for the removal of directors under commercial law, including acts in violation of the Articles of Incorporation, laws and regulations," constitutes a condition for the release of the obligation to exercise voting rights stipulated in the same paragraph, and therefore, the burden of proof regarding the fact that the creditor has committed acts that constitute grounds for the removal of directors under commercial law, including acts in violation of the Articles of Incorporation, laws and regulations (hereinafter referred to as "grounds for removal"), is on the Debtor.
3. As shown below, the creditor has not engaged in any of the acts constituting the grounds for removal stipulated in Article 21(a) of the Shareholders' Agreement.

a) The creditor did not formulate a specific plan to deprive the debtor of its control over C or take any action to do so, and even if it did, it would not constitute a violation of the law, such as embezzlement, in its relationship with C.
b) The creditor has not formulated and executed a plan to intentionally impair the value of C or terminate the exclusive contract with E.
or terminate the exclusive contract with E. Il Raising issues such as copying or plagiarizing E was done to prevent C's enterprise value from being damaged and cannot be a violation of law against C.
C) The actions of the creditor that the debtor complains of have not caused any property damage to C.
d) The information that the debtor claims is a trade secret is not a trade secret of C, and the creditor's disclosure of the information did not cause C any damage.
e) When shooting E's advertisement, C only receives modeling fees, and the cost of setting hair, makeup, and costumes (hereinafter referred to as "styling services") is paid by the advertiser to an outsourcing company separately, so the styling services that the debtor complains about cannot be C's revenue in the first place.
b) The Debtor has not colluded with J in the sale of the Debtor's issued shares, and the sale of the Debtor's shares in violation of the JI Capital Market and Financial Investment Business Act (hereinafter referred to as the "Capital Market Act") does not cause any damage to C.
4) The creditor has not engaged in any behavior that constitutes a reason for resignation (hereinafter referred to as a "reason for resignation") as defined in Article 2.1(c) of the Shareholders' Agreement. Furthermore, since "removal" and "resignation" of a director are clearly distinct concepts, and Article 2.1 of the Shareholders' Agreement in this case also distinguishes between the reasons for removal and resignation, the mere fact that the Creditor has a reason for resignation is not sufficient to remove the Creditor from office at the shareholders' meeting in this case. If the Debtor can prove that the Creditor's failure to resign is a material breach of the Shareholders' Agreement and terminate the Shareholders' Agreement in accordance with Article 11.2 of the Shareholders' Agreement, the Debtor can remove the Creditor, so it cannot be said that the reason for resignation is cured.
5) If the creditor is dismissed because the debtor exercises its right to vote in favor of the proposal at the shareholders' meeting in this case, the creditor will suffer irreparable damage to its reputation as well as direct and indirect property damage.

I. The Debtor

1. In light of Article 38 of C's Articles of Incorporation, which sets the term of office for directors at three years, Article 2.1(a) of the Shareholders' Agreement in this case merely stipulates that "in the event that the creditor is reappointed beyond the three-year term, the debtor shall take the necessary measures, including exercising its voting rights, to agree to such reappointment," and cannot be interpreted as a covenant restricting the debtor's right to exercise its voting rights to remove the creditor as a director.
2. If paragraph 2.1(a) of the Shareholders' Agreement at issue is interpreted as a covenant restricting the debtor's right to remove the creditor, the provision on resignation in paragraph 2.1(c) of the Shareholders' Agreement at issue would be rendered moot, as the creditor would not be able to remove the creditor as a director of C even if the creditor fails to fulfill its resignation obligation in violation of Article 21(c) of the Shareholders' Agreement at issue.
3. The absence of the grounds for removal set forth in Article 2.1(a) of the Shareholders' Agreement in this case is a

is a prerequisite for the debtor's voting rights to be restricted, so the creditor bears the burden of proving that "no cause for removal exists.
4) In order to privatize C, which was established with the debtor's investment, and E, its core asset, the creditor violated the following laws and articles of association.
a) The creditor committed a series of violations of the duty of good faith and fiduciary duty to cause damage to C or intentionally reduce the value of C, such as attempting to terminate the exclusive contract between C and E and encouraging the legal representatives of the members of E to create the appearance of complaining and raising issues with C and the debtor.
b) The creditor engaged in a series of breaches of fiduciary duty and duty of loyalty by using the media and investors in the debtor to pressure the debtor to wrest control of C from the debtor.

c) The creditor conspired with K, the head of the style directing team, to divert revenues that should have been attributable to C. The creditor's business practice was to allow K to receive
K to receive revenue that should have been attributable to C.
d) The creditor leaked C's trade secrets to the outside world, including "the fact that E signed a brand ambassador contract, C's undisclosed 2023 performance information, emails between C and the debtor's department (brand synergy business part) on the issue of L, and the negotiation content of the shareholders' agreement in this case". c) The creditor conspired with J and M, C's vice president, to engage in fraudulent misconduct in violation of Article 178 of the Capital Market Act.
b) The creditor committed defamatory acts against the debtor's management and its affiliated companies.
5) The Creditor is obligated to resign as a director of C pursuant to Article 21(c) of the Shareholders' Agreement for the following reasons. The creditor who is obligated to resign cannot claim to be prohibited from exercising the right to vote to remove the creditor at the shareholders' meeting in this case because
a) In paragraph 4) above, due to the creditor's violation of the laws and articles of association, the market capitalization of the debtor, a publicly traded company, fell by more than KRW 1 trillion, and the exclusive contractual relationship with E, C's asset, became unstable. As a result, the creditor caused more than KRW 1 billion in damages to C. This constitutes a reason for resignation under Article 2.1(c)(1) of the Shareholders' Agreement.
b) The Creditor breached the confidentiality obligations set forth in Article 12.9 of the Shareholders' Agreement and breached the undertakings in Article 10.3(a) of the Shareholders' Agreement by making false allegations regarding the issues of "discrimination, pushing out, and plagiarism", causing irreparable damage to the Debtor and its affiliates. Accordingly, the Creditor has materially breached the Shareholders' Agreement in this case. This constitutes a cause for resignation as set forth in Article 21(c)(2) of the Shareholders' Agreement.
c) The Creditor has engaged in misconduct in relation to the operation of C, including acts of embezzlement, violation of Article 178 of the Capital Market Law, and defamatory acts against the Debtor and its affiliates, which constitute grounds for resignation under Article 2.1 (c) (3) of the Shareholders' Agreement.
d) The Creditor has destroyed the trust relationship with the Debtor by relying on shamans for major management decisions, having inadequate gender sensitivity, and excessively pursuing self-interest. Therefore, the Creditor is materially disqualified from performing his duties as C's CEO. This constitutes a reason for resignation under Article 21(c)(4) of the Shareholders' Agreement.

1. Judgment

A. Right to retention

1. Interpretation of Article 21(a) of the Shareholders' Agreement

A) 1 Article 21(a) of the Shareholders' Agreement in this case clearly stipulates that 'the Debtor shall exercise the voting rights of the shares held by the Debtor at the shareholders' meeting of C so that the Creditor can maintain its position as a director of C until November 1, 2026'; 2 Article 2. 1(a) of the Shareholders' Agreement in the instant case refers to 'reasons for removal of directors' by stipulating that 'the creditor has committed acts that constitute reasons for removal of directors under commercial law, such as committing acts in violation of the articles of association, laws and regulations' as an exception to the obligation to exercise such voting rights; 3 Article 2. 1(a) of the Shareholders' Agreement in this case appears to be a covenant intended to provide the creditor, who is obligated to remain in C for five years pursuant to Article 10.3(e) of the Shareholders' Agreement in this case, with a guaranteed position as CEO of C during the term of his employment, it is reasonable to interpret Article 2.1(a) of the Shareholders' Agreement in this case as a covenant restricting the debtor's right to exercise voting rights at the general meeting of shareholders of C to remove the creditor from the position of CEO of C unless grounds for removal exist. The covenant is valid as between the creditor and the debtor because there is nothing to suggest that it is prejudicial to the rights of other shareholders or otherwise unfair. Therefore, the debtor is under a contractual obligation under the covenant not to vote in favor of the proposal to remove the creditor as a director at C's shareholders' meeting unless the creditor has cause for removal.
It is also reasonable to conclude that the content of such obligation is specific and unambiguous, so that the creditor can seek enforcement of such obligation.
b) Furthermore, in light of the fact that the grounds for dismissal in Article 21(a) of the Shareholders' Agreement in this case are among the exceptions that allow the debtor to avoid the above obligation to exercise voting rights, and that it is virtually impossible to prove the non-existence of certain grounds, it is reasonable to conclude that the debtor bears the burden of proving to the creditor that the grounds for dismissal in Article 21(a) of the Shareholders' Agreement in this case or the grounds for resignation in paragraph (c) of the same article exist.
2) Whether the creditor has a cause for removal
a) Relevant legal theory
If a director is found to have committed misconduct in connection with his or her duties or to have violated a law or the articles of association, and the general meeting of shareholders rejects his or her removal, shareholders holding shares equal to at least one hundredth of the total number of issued shares may petition the court to remove the director (Article 38 (2) of the Commercial Code). Here, 'misconduct in relation to duties' refers to a director's intentional act that causes damage to the company in violation of his or her duties, and mere neglect of duties is not included in the grounds for requesting removal, and 'material facts in violation of laws or articles of association' refers to a director's intentional violation of laws or articles of association in a manner comparable to misconduct in relation to duties, causing damage to the company by breaching his or her duty of loyalty to the company.
b) Specific judgment
In light of the above statement of case, plus the following facts which appear from the record and the hearing as a whole, it is difficult to conclude that the debtor's arguments and materials submitted to date are sufficient to show that the creditor has a cause of action for removal.
(1) It is clear that the creditor has been dissatisfied with the content of the shareholders' agreement in this case since the end of 2023 and has demanded its amendment, and has sought to weaken the debtor's control over C by taking E out of the debtor's control, pressuring the debtor to sell the outstanding shares of C held by the debtor, and seeking ways to independently control C with M, the vice president of C, etc. However, it does not appear from the record that the creditor took any concrete action beyond the exploratory or planning stages, and while such actions by the creditor may constitute treacherous behavior toward the debtor, they do not constitute "malfeasance in office" or "conduct contrary to law" that causes damage to C.
(2)

1. before and after I's debut, there were opinions among the public that I's concept, choreography, costumes, etc. were similar to E's,
2. article 5, paragraph 4 of the exclusive contract entered into between C and the members of E stipulates that if a third party infringes or interferes with E's entertainment activities, C is obliged to take necessary measures to exclude such infringement or interference, and article 15, paragraph 1 of the said contract provides that the members of E may terminate the said exclusive contract if C breaches the above obligation,
3. the creditor, who is a director and president of C, owes a duty of care or fiduciary duty to take the necessary measures to protect the value of E, which is a key asset of C,
4. E's legal representatives have alleged in their petition to this court that "E's legal representatives have demanded that the creditor take action regarding I's plagiarism of E," and there is no evidence that the creditor encouraged E's legal representatives to raise the issue with the debtor,
5. the creditor's sending of an email to the debtor raising the issue of the similarity of IE to the debtor may be considered as fulfillment of the notification obligation under Article 10.3(c) of the Shareholders' Agreement, etc.

(3) The debtor has insufficient evidence to prove that the creditor's actions in question have caused damage to C or diminished the value of C.
(4) 1 Due to the structure of the advertising contract, the source of payment for C as an affiliate of E is E's modeling fee, and the styling service fee for the commercial shoot is paid by the advertiser to a separate subcontractor, and there is no evidence that C paid K separately for styling E's commercials, so even if K received the styling service fee as an affiliate of the subcontractor with the permission of C's board of directors, it is difficult to show that C's revenue or profit decreased, 2 There is no evidence to prove that C's employees provided labor for the styling of the advertisement that generated the styling fees received by K; and 3 It is difficult to conclude that the styling fees received by K are itself a loss to C, as claimed by the creditor, so it is difficult to conclude that the creditor's acceptance of the styling fees received by K as a styling subcontractor for E's advertisement shooting constitutes an act of gratuitous disloyalty to C by the creditor.
(5) It is difficult to conclude that the information that the creditor allegedly leaked to the outside world constitutes C's "trade secret mill" and there is no evidence that the creditor's sending of such information to third parties caused C any specific property damage.
(6) It is difficult to conclude that the creditor has engaged in stock transactions in violation of the Capital Market Act merely because J, an internal director of C, sold the debtor's issued shares valued at approximately KRW 200 million on April 15, 2024. It is also difficult to conclude that the creditor's defamation of the debtor's management or the debtor's affiliated companies constitutes an act that causes property damage to C.
3) Whether the creditor has a reason for resignation
In light of the following circumstances, which are evidenced by the above facts, plus the purpose of the record and the interrogation as a whole, it is difficult to believe that the creditor has sufficiently proved that a reason for resignation exists based on the debtor's claims and materials submitted to date.
a) The fact that the market capitalization of the debtor has fallen by more than KRW 1 trillion is not enough to show that C, which is only a private company in which the debtor holds an 80% stake, has suffered damages of more than KRW 1 billion. There is no evidence that the exclusive contractual relationship with E, an asset of C, has become unstable, and even if it has, there is no evidence that the value of the resulting damage is more than KRW 1 billion.
b) Considering that 1) the contents and extent of the Shareholders' Agreement in question were mentioned by the Creditor at the press conference on April 25, 2024, 2) it is not confirmed that the Creditor was the source of the contents of the Shareholders' Agreement in question that were subsequently reported in the media, and 3) the contents of the Shareholders' Agreement in question were mentioned in the Creditor's position paper on April 5, 2024, 2) it appears that the Creditor mentioned the contents of the Shareholders' Agreement in the course of rebutting the Debtor's position paper on April 26, 2024, it is difficult to conclude that the Creditor materially breached its obligation of confidentiality under Article 12.9 of the Shareholders' Agreement in question.
Furthermore, considering the circumstances described in paragraph (2) of 2) above, as well as the fact that it is difficult to conclude that the discriminatory treatment of E by the Debtor and the pushing out of the Debtor's singer's recordings by the Debtor, which the Creditor requested to be corrected, are completely unfounded, it is difficult to conclude that the Creditor has intentionally or grossly breached its obligation not to engage in acts that may cause damage to C or the Debtor or its affiliates.
c) The Debtor argues that 'the Creditor has committed acts of treachery against C as the CEO and director of C and acts in violation of laws and regulations, and therefore falls under Article 2.1(c)(3) of the Shareholders' Agreement in this case', but it is insufficient to conclude that the Creditor has committed acts of treachery against C as the CEO and director of C or acts in violation of laws and regulations. 2), b) above.
d) Considering C's business performance, it is difficult to believe that the circumstances alleged by the debtor are sufficiently disqualifying to prohibit the creditor from performing his duties as the CEO of C, and there is no evidence to prove otherwise.
4) Conclusion
Based on the above, it is necessary to determine whether Creditor has grounds for dismissal or resignation after a full investigation of the evidence and a careful hearing in the case, and it is not sufficiently proved that Creditor has grounds for dismissal or resignation based on the allegations and data submitted to date. Therefore, the Debtor is obliged to abstain from voting in favor of the proposal to dismiss Creditor as a director at the shareholders' meeting of C pursuant to Article 2.1(a) of the Shareholders' Agreement. This case is pleaded as a defense to the motion.
B. Necessity of Preservation
In light of the imminent holding of the Shareholders' Meeting in this case and the difficulty for the Creditor to obtain relief in the present action seeking the fulfillment of its obligations under Article 2.1(a) of the Shareholders' Agreement in this case, and the fact that the Creditor will suffer loss of the opportunity to fulfill its duties as the President and an inside director of C for the remainder of the term of office if the Creditor is dismissed at the Shareholders' Meeting in this case, and that such loss is not monetarily transferable, the necessity of preserving the present application is also established.
C. Indirect coercion
Based on the history of the dispute and the foregoing considerations, it is necessary to order indirect enforcement to ensure the effectiveness of the provisional injunction in paragraph 1 of the Order. The creditor seeks a payment of KRW 30 billion in the event of the debtor's violation of the order in paragraph 1 of the order, but considering the circumstances in the record of this case, including the damages that the creditor will suffer if the debtor exercises its right to vote in favor of the proposal at the shareholders' meeting in this case, it is sufficient to order a payment of KRW 20 billion in the event of the debtor's violation of the order in paragraph 1 of the order to secure the effectiveness of the decision in this case.
4.
Accordingly, the creditor's motion is granted for reasons within the scope recognized above, and the rest of the motion is dismissed for lack of reason. As for the burden of litigation costs, the debtor shall bear all of them, taking into account the circumstances leading up to the filing of this case.

My backstory/experience: (Starting this by saying I’m not anti weed literally at all) been a recreational marijuana user but even before then I’ve had a phone in my hands since I was like 7 so I’m kind of addicted to this thing… like I’m talking 12+ hr screen time if I don’t have anything to do that day. I was taking a class about substance abuse and addiction and how it affects the brain and I’m realizing that the chronic internet usage and recreational marijuana use since I was about 15 as well as frequent use of alcohol and nicotine has heavily damaged the reward system in my brain.
Understanding the reward systems impact on productivity : From my knowledge the reward system/limbic system is basically the neuro pathway that deals with motivation. Without going into too much detail and giving you a science lesson you did not ask for the the reward system is what makes things like food taste good or things like sex feel good etc because those are important for survival. When you become addicted to something this reward pathway is high jacked by the substance (by substance I mean it can be phone drug food gambling etc) to make you think when you do that behavior you’re obtaining a higher reward than you actually are. Dopamine is how your brain learns what it should make you motivated to do! So that’s why it’s hard to literally do like anything because you’re reward system is out of wack and you’re not getting a satisfying dopaminergic out put from natural tasks compared to the thing you’re using recreationally and it’s upping the threshold naturally set by your body.
How to beat it:

1. So you will not like what I’m about to say but you need to quit that substance or cut back a great amount or atleast try to take part in some form of harm reduction. If you’re strong enough I’d even suggest a dopamine detox! You more than likely will be feeling angry agitated and aggressive if you have severe mental health issues like me this could even feel crippling (but I promise it’s worth it and I feel more in control of my life and emotions more than any substance could make me feel now). This could last for a week up to a month depending on the substance youre quitting. this is because the CRF chemical in your brain ( stress chemical) is used to balance out dopamine and is still shooting hella crf into your brain even though you’re no longer producing those excessive amounts of dopamine. Eventually everything will even back out and as it does you will find more pleasure in natural rewards like completing an assignment or finishing the laundry, and your brain will be more likely to wanna complete those tasks! (If you would like advice on how to stop partaking in unhealthy habits/addictions I can make another advice post about that specifically )
   
2. Do research on how to naturally release happy chemicals I started picking up my room at night making my bed in the morning and sun bathing and tried to go for walks and listen to music. You don’t need to do a bunch of things you can just start with like 1-3 easy things that you find while doing your research that release happy, motivating and mood stabilizing chemicals like dopamine endorphins and serotonin . Continue to do these actions even if at first you don’t feel anything, your mind will probably become a little clearer and sharper and your mood will stabilize, after that you will become more productive.
   
3. Consistency in keeping up these happy chemical routines is important even if you don’t give it 100 percent effort every time even if some days it’s only 10 % effort and you don’t do all of the activities or don’t do them super well that’s fine. The goal is to atleast DO it. Consistency is key.
   

Get to know the maps in your playlist. Understand where your enemies will likely go based on common head glitches, corners, etc. If you are in a spot where you have cover but can watch an angle or two, its going to be a good spot for other players as well.
Think tactical. Give some thought as to where your enemies are or are going. If an enemy peaks you, and doesn't re challenge you, they are either:
A: sitting around the corner, waiting for you to chase after them Or B: repositioning to catch you from behind or the side while you are still aiming at where they disappeared from.
Pay attention to the type of lobby you are in and how your enemies are playing. If they are bots, they will probably be playing like letter A. If they are sweaty with better movement and aim, they will 9 times out of 10 be playing like letter B.
Always check your corners. If you are holding an angle, stay on it. Cod timing is too brutal for you to look away from an angle. If you are confident that someone is going to come from where you are aiming, hold it down until you get the kill. Then move.
Communicate with your team. Find a clan to play with that plays as often as you do. Giving callouts is crucial in this game. This goes hand in hand with learning map callouts. If you play solo, you will have to learn to play solely based on audio and mini map information. Regardless if playing solo or not, you should always be checking your mini map.
Practice your movement skills. Remap your buttons so that you can jumpshot, dropshot, slide cancel, dolphin dive, etc. You can do all of this without paddles or playing claw. Search up the button layout Button Jumper Tactical. It makes it so that you dont have to take your thumb off of your joystick in order to press jump or crouch/slide. Setting your slide to hybrid in your controller gameplay settings will allow you to dolphin dive by holding down on your sprint button and then pressing your crouch button. Set your movement to auto tac sprint to move the fastest. Turn all auto mantle settings off so that you dont accidentally mantle onto a random barricade or object while jump shotting.
Increase your fov to max (120). This will allow you to see everything around you, as it zooms out your camera perspective. Turn off motion blur for both your weapon and world. This makes everything a lot clearer in game so that enemies on your screen dont get blurred into the background when you turn your camera. Set your film grain to 0. For the fidelity setting in graphics, turn it on and set it to 90. This sharpens the detail of your game and makes enemies a bit more obvious.
Set your aim response curve to linear. This makes a direct input to output between how far you move your stick and where your aim on screen moves. There is 0 acceleration or deceleration, so your aim speed will stay consistent no matter how far away your aiming joystick moves from the center. This is key to building muscle memory and consistent aim. Lower your minimum deadzone on your aiming joystick to as low as possible without getting stick drift to insure the fastest and most responsive aim. Set your TRIGGER dead zones to zero, so that the instantly you begin to pull your trigger, your gun starts to fire. This drastically decreases any delays between your trigger being pulled and your gun being fired.
Always have good centering. Keep your crosshair level with exactly the same height of where your enemies chest level will be (assuming they will be standing).
Set your microphone sensitivity up to 80 at the least. This is for all the people who run fans in their room or have a lot of noise in the background. This makes it so that a higher amount of noise is needed to activate your microphone detection, which should really only be your voice.
Set your HUD boundaries as small as possible. This means put the HUD boundary towards the center of your screen. This pulls your mini map in towards the center of your screen by a little bit so that it takes less time for your eyes to move from your crosshairs to your minimap and vice versa. Always check your minimap for radar pings, not just when there is a UAV.
Set your audio mix to soundbar, as it amplifies small noises like enemy footsteps, weapon swaps, ads, slides, bomb plants, and bomb defusals. Turn off music in your audio settings, as it makes it difficult to hear these key noises.
Pre aim your corners, and practice jumpshotting so that you can catch an enemy off guard by jumping past their crosshair around a corner and shooting them.
If you struggle seeing enemies because they are blending in with the maps, in your interface settings you should find a color customization button, and when you click on it and scroll down, you will find color filter settings. I recommend setting your color filter to filter 2. It makes map colors actually pop out, making enemies contrast and not blend in as much. Set this setting to "both" so that the filter applies to both the world and your interface.
I also changed my enemies color to a neon green so that minimap, compass, and regular pings were easier to see. This also makes it easier to spot an enemy when you aim at them, because you will see their bright neon green username above their head.
Finally, just practice. You aren't always gonna have amazing days where you do the best. Dont let it deter you or make you feel like you're doing bad. Play daily or every other day. I have 400 hours in the game so far, (with hundreds more in previous titles) and looking back on previous clips, I can see how tremendously my skill has grown. It is 100% possible to get as good as the pros you watch, you just need to put in the hours. But seriously, the biggest thing to take away from this is to make sure your button layout enables you to use all of your movement buttons without taking your thumbs off of either of your joysticks. If you do make the switch, just know that it will be incredibly hard at first, because of your muscle memory, but keep practicing and the ceiling for your skill will sky rocket.
