First let me state that I love ground control. I know their shifts are long and not always fun. Huge amount of respect for them. However, when we were in line for shuttle Sunday around 6:30 it took FOREVER to get through security and tix scan. Longer than the other two days. Majority of the reason is because they were letting the premier shuttle people scan first (as they should). But after an hour most of the premier side was already through and they were still holding us (GA). So understandably, some people were chanting “let us in.”
Now here’s my issue. There was a lead(?) who was working that day that really pissed me off. She had purple dyed curly hair and was wearing a purple shirt (not one that said ground control btw). Took it upon herself to address GA and shout, “well that’s the price you pay for general.” What a rude, unprofessional, and unnecessary comment. People booed her. It was hot and we were dehydrated (and drunk). Waiting for over two hours. She was rubbing salt on an open wound.
Cherry on top was when we got through, the whole lot was not even crowded. There was lots of space and at least 15 shuttle busses parked ready to go. There was even a line of shuttles behind that waiting for a parking spot. I’m convinced that one lead was delaying the lines just bc she could. She wasn’t working there the other days and the line moved quickly. She wasted our time and money and tired to talk down on us. Disgusting behavior.

So I've been radio silent, but I'm kinda back now. This is the beginning of my rewrite for this fic. Unfortunately I'm gonna take a bit to make the next part, this is due to me being part of the ficnnap. So future parts are gonna take a while to get going, hopefully I'll be functional enough to sit down during the summer and write a bunch.

Humanity learned it was not alone in the year of 2015, when it was viscously attacked by a hostile alien force intent on colonizing Earth. But humanity fought back, with the formation of XCOM. For the first time in the entirety of human history, Humanity stood as one. And we won, barely and not without consequences. Countries fell apart, or were briefly colonized; or in the case of Advent, for a couple decades.
Of course there was also the aliens that were invading. After some time it was found out that all of them of them were enslaved, controlled and distorted by the Elders.
Or Ethereals if you wanted to be pedantic. God I have had enough of pedantic people.
After a few tense decades, the aliens had slowly filtered into human society. The Vipers forming Sisterhoods, Mutons forming tribes, Sectoids getting into everything, Andromedas forming a haven for their people, and Chryssalids... once thought to be a dying race, surging back to life in 2077 and becoming a horrendous problem for everybody. There were a couple others but I couldn't be bothered to remember them.
Ding a little ring tone sounded, reminding me of my wretched job. I groaned, and waved my hand. I heard a dial up sound, as the system connected. Finally it connected, and one of the voices I dreaded hearing started speaking.
A monotone male voice, the voice of an emotionless thing created by XCOM to make death. "Hello Meier. I have a report, Wraith unit sent to System Gliese-832c has returned. A sapient alien civilization has been discovered. It is not what we expected though."
Wonderful, great even... God this is gonna be a whole thing to handle.
"Explain Odin, I will have to schedule a meeting about this new discovery."
"I have sent a data packet to your computer, which you would see if you looked at it sir"
How the fuck has he developed sarcasm? Has he always had this quirk or did he create it just to personally fuck with me?
I sighed and spun my chair around, away from the great view of my office window. The office I was trapped in was decently sized, the large desk with two 57 inch monitors on each side. The room was 10 feet tall, and 20 feet from door to window, and 12 feet wide. There was a seating area with two couches and a coffee table. A large drink cabinet flanked by two busts on pedestals, and a foyer sitting on the opposite wall flanked by tall standing plant pots with ferns. The entrance was double doors that looked like wood, but were actually plasma and explosive shielded metal doors.
On the left monitor was a display of the planet baring alien life. It was tidally locked, and was inhabited by... sheep, literal fucking sheep. Course they had paws instead of hooves and had no nose but still, literally just fucking sheep. They were apparently called Venlil. They had a decent population, and were part of a larger federation with an unknown number of species. They were at war with 7-8 feet tall nazi space crocodiles, and were deathly afraid of anything "predatory".
I glanced at a small box that appeared, it was an addendum by Dr. Valhen regarding the Venlil. It was a hypothesis regarding their physiology.
Experimental Codex Simulations put them at a 21.53% chance of surviving to a century with current physiology. Likely hood of genetic modification to weaken species at 71.89%.
The addendum pointed out the knocked knees, and the absence of a nose being the most likely areas of modification. I quirked an eyebrow up. I know Dr. Valhen had experience tearing open modified aliens and modifying people at an extreme levels. But still this had to be stretch.
"I have done my own calculations sir, and I have come to the same conclusion as Dr. Valhen sir." I stared pointedly at my monitors before sighing and rubbing my face.
Hmmm whom do I trust more? The mad scientist that walks around in several different metal bodies, or the psychopathic Codex who was created to be unnaturally good at killing. Hmmm good question... how about neither and say fuck it.
"OK Odin. Would you kindly contact the rest of the board and notify them about an emergency meeting?"
"Of course sir, I have already notified them about the scheduled meeting."
... Fucking prick. Oh well if I'm going to be sitting through a meeting I'm going to atleast drink some of the piss flavored water called vodka to pretend I can get drunk.
I stood up and walked over to the drink cabinet. A small round drone that was more of a floating camera came out of the ceiling and followed me. I opened up the cabinet and selected the highest proof alcohol I could find. After popping the bottle and grabbing a shot glass I walked back to my desk. Sitting down as an encrypted channel lit up my right side screen. I pressed on it and poured a shot, the small camera drone hovering in front of me just beyond the desk. The right monitor lit up as 6 people connected.
The Heads of Military, Research and Development, and Diplomatic Affairs were all in the meeting. Dr. Tygan and Dr. Shen heads of R&D, General Zhao and General Kelly heads of Military, Ms. Clark and Mr. Freeman heads of Diplomatic Affairs.
Dr. Tygan didn't look a day over 30, even though he was older than myself. His white coat looked immaculate, and his glasses clean. But his posture and eyes spoke of a man who was debating falling over asleep or shooting someone in the face. Dr. Shen had safety gear on, his clothing stained by machine fluids and sweat. He looked more alive in his 40's than Tygan, and behind him was a scene of a bustling space yard. General Zhao was prim and proper, his posture rigid and his face completely neutral. General Kelly looked to be in a ships captain quarters, his General uniform replaced with a mandatory protective jumpsuit. He looked like he was just woken up, a steaming cup of coffee sitting before him. Ms. Clark and Mr. Freeman looked... normal, they had proper uniforms on and looked like they had been working for a while but still had plenty of energy.
I shot the glass back then looked back at the drone, which had moved to be above the monitor. "So... I have received a report from Odin, and it is the reason for this meeting. Have any of you received the report as well and viewed the contents?"
Dr. Shen squinted at something behind the camera, before bending back and nodding. "Yeah I glanced at it, doesn't really affect my operations honestly. Besides I doubt that they could even get close to the OCDM. That thing can wipe out all kinds of stuff. "
Ms. Clark palmed her face, an exasperated look on it. "Could we not immediately discuss killing these new extraterrestrials? For all we know they number in the hundreds of species, or dozens. Not to mention we do not know the full extent of their technology. They could be much more powerful than us for all we know!"
General Zhao spoke up, a dismissive look to his face. "I have already run through some of the internal information of the Wraith unit. It appears that they have relatively the same level of technology as us. In fact they are actually inferior in some areas. For instance they practically have no cybersecurity. We could shut down their whole planet with a button press."
Ms. Clark groaned as she put her face in her hands. Mr. Freeman just leaned back looking tired. He raised a hand, a ding from the system notifying that he had a question. "Have we attempted to secure a direct access to their network? The more we know about these aliens the better. For all we know they have plans on dealing with "predatory" aliens. We could be signing the death certificate of humanity if we don't investigate more."
Clark looked up with shock and anger. "Yo-you can't be serious Mr. Freeman?! We haven't even attempted communication with these people and you're already planning on spying on them?! We should talk to them first, not just assume they are gonna be murderous!"
Everyone else on the meeting glanced around, the unsaid thing hanging in the air. Clark was very new to the board, and had grown up in New Russia. One of the European countries with the most amount of aliens. Everyone else had either only interacted with aliens as acquaintances, or killed them. Not to mention that XCOM was literally formed with the intention of pushing an invading alien empire off Earth. It had a long and bloody history with aliens, not to mention some of the things that it had done to aliens in service to Humanity.
General Kelly just sighed as he took a long sip of his coffee. Putting it down he crossed his hands in front of him. "We're getting off track people. We need to decide our course of action moving forward with these Venlil and their allies. I would recommend sending a civilian science vessel alongside two Avengers and a Hammer. The Hammer ship can operate in Stealth mode in the alien system, while the Avengers act like Cargo Ships. This allows us to put on a good face while still ensuring that our assets will be protected."
There was nodding across the board, everyone seemed to reluctantly agree on something for once. Then they all stared at their cameras, obviously waiting for myself. I sighed and poured another shot. "I concur with Kelly's plan, but I would also like to have Mothership Valhala on standby with Fleet Alpha. I would like you Kelly to command it, if you are too busy General Zhao will command instead."
Kelly and Zhao looked shocked by what I said. But they both donned neutral faces quickly afterwards. Zhao raised a hand, the system dinged signaling that he had a question. "May I ask why you are requesting this? Last time I actively commanded was for Operation Living Mausoleum and we all know how that turned out."
I shot back the glass and pointed at the camera. "That Operation was fucked from the very beginning. There was jack shit you could've done to prevent the casualties that occurred. Not to mention that you can't compare yourself to the Commander, he was inhumanly good at what he did. Hell from what I hear the man could practically see into the future. So quit it, stop beating yourself up over it. You're one of the greatest generals I've ever had the pleasure of working alongside with."
Zhao's face briefly clouded with a dark brooding look as I talked. But when I finished it lit up in surprise. He must still be beating himself up over that shit operation. I still remember reading the reports and feeling afraid about the future of XCOM. But thankfully Valhen managed to control the damn thing, and Diplomatic Affairs quelled the fires that had started from it.
"This meeting is concluded. Get back to whatever you all are doing." One by one the channel sent quiet. Tygan just stared into space, a vacant look on his face. "Tygan? Tygan!" He jumped in his seat, finally coming to. He took off his glasses and rubbed his face. "Tygan... it's getting worse... you really should reconsider your stance."
He looked up, a fire in his eyes. He put his glasses back on, tapping his fingers as he did so. "Well I won't. I'm not gonna stoop down to Valhen's level of depravity. The procedure is completely experimental and for all I know it's a miracle that I'm even still alive. I am almost 200 years old. If my mind is finally failing then so be it. I have played God long enough."
He left the channel right afterwards, only for another person to appear. It was Dr. Valhen and she had no camera feed. All I could see was a noise graph. "Meier... I would like to... make a... request- demand... I would like to attend the mission."
I slammed the shot glass on the table. "Absolutely not, I don't care what you're reason is. My final and only answer will be no. So kiss my ass, and go back to cutting apart death row inmates and war criminals."
…After a few seconds of silence and the graph not moving, it started laughing. That laugh told me more than enough. "Oh Meier, naughty naughty Meier... keeping me away from the new toys? How cruel of you... forgive me... I will honor your request..."
She... it left the channel. I closed it up, and spun my chair around. The window allowed me to view the Appalachian Mountains in all their splendor. In the distance I could see the camo fields of ships shifting as they moved about. I stared at the bottle before corking it and walking back to the cabinet.
This is gonna be an absolute shitshow. For all we knew we are boldly striding towards a war that will be the end of humanity once and for all.

Hey Gay Bros-
I know, I just get on here to whine. So if you’re sick of my shit, I get it, keep scrolling.
Last August, my husband left me and since then my life has been pretty difficult. In October, I tried to unalive myself by swallowing a bunch of 500 mg acetaminophen. It, obviously, didn’t work, but since then I can’t shake this feeling that my life is not improving and I feel incredibly sad all the time.
To make matters worse after this all happened, I found out that my ex was cheating on me with a supposed friend of mine, and since learning that news, my despair has only deepened and is a daily profound struggle. Even worse, my ex’s family has completely cut me out of their lives in response to learning about the affair in order to ensure they don’t have to deal with it or address it in any real way.
To complicate things I really don’t understand why I’m feeling this way. Everything else in my life is exactly where I want it to be. Both subjectively and objectively. I have a really really incredible life. People live entire lives not getting to where I have built myself to-
I am close with my family, I have wonderful friends who hang out with me and have been supporting me unconditionally during this time, I have a job that I love and that pays me well and where I am am well respected and appreciated, I own my own home with a very nice set up in a very nice neighborhood in a town that I love, I volunteer regularly with various organizations in town that fulfill me and make me feel like I am a active member in my community, I act locally at a theater and try to express myself artistically on stage whenever I can, just so many things seem so right and awesome. I’m even smiling listing them.
But that smile always slowly fades because I think about what is going on in my life romantically. Without my husband, I feel like none of those things really matter. Without someone to share all of my experiences with on a deep and rewarding level I just don’t see the point in any of them. To make matters worse I live in a smaller community and so dating is pretty awful. I have been on a number of dates now and they have all ended in two ways: the person isn’t into a relationship and just wants to fuck and be friends and or the person is a total loser with no goals and no interesting things to talk about. I loathe being single. I loathe coming home to an empty house and cooking for one and then just repeating that over and over and over and over. I loathe the looks of sympathy and concern on everyone’s face when they can tell that I should be enjoying myself and I’m clearly not. I am terrified I am going to die alone; the biggest fear I have always had- and it feels like it’s coming true.
So I guess I’m just looking for some advice. And yes, I am in weekly therapy with therapist that I really like and trust. I am on antidepressants and I take them consistently. I have a written safety plan - all of that is in place. The really hard part is that I actually really don’t want to kill myself. Mainly because after my attempt I was insanely guilty. I can’t stomach leaving behind my job, my family, my friends, and some of the other things that I do for this world. But I am stuck in this nightmare that is full of wonderful beautiful things that I simply just can’t enjoy. What’s even even worse sometimes I feel guilty that I’m not happier and enjoying life more. Especially when I’m reflect like this and see all of the good things I have. And even more so when I talk to my family and friends who desperately want me to move on and find happiness.
Does anybody else feel like this? What else can I do? It just seems like I can’t live the next 30 years of my life walking around like a zombie, surrounded by happiness and wonderful things, but not being able to fully embrace them anymore. And why do I feel so alone? And why am I so hung up on my ex? I should hate him, but I wake up every day, missing him more and more, and wishing that he would change his mind and come back. I worry about him daily because this person he is with I know will eventually hurt him, and I don’t trust him whatsoever. What’s the point in all this if I have to just suffer and die alone?

Since FNaF: Into The Pit was revealed to the public, there were a lot of theories about "What new things will this game bring that, perhaps, were not completely clear in the novel?" Well, after some leaked info about Jeff, the owner of Jeff's Pizza (Freddy Fazbear's Pizza in the past), some people (me included) think that is very possible that his true identity was Michael Afton all along. This even made more sense as a possibility when Mega Cat Studios revealed a glimpse of Jeff in the game; purple-skinned, for some strange reason, and that it was revealed since the Graphic Novel Edition that "Into The Pit" was set in 2020.
Now, Michael being Jeff make that some weird things about Jeff's original description in the novel make a lot of sense:

Today, like all other days, Jeff looked as if he hadn’t slept in a week. His dark hair was sticking up in weird places, and he had alarming bags under his bloodshot eyes. It was funny. Jeff’s expression never changed. He looked tired and miserable even when he was being extra nice. And when he thought about it, Jeff was kind of creepy, too. He looked a hundred years old but was probably just thirty. With those heavy-lidded, bloodshot eyes, the stained apron, and the slow speech and movement, he was like a zombie pizza chef.

The last description is the most important, because we all know since FNaF: Sister Location's Custom Night minigames that Michael ended up looking like a zombie with a slow pace, and from his monologue it is known that his intonation was also just as slow. And if you take a quick look at what a one hundred year old person looks like, they sadly fit to a zombie-like description (most of the time.)
The most interesting thing to me about that description is the mention of Jeff, probably, being a 30 year old guy, because... why did they draw such a direct conclusion, and on top of that, classify it as a "probability"? If I have to guess, it's because that description was meant to reveal the age Michael Afton had when he died.
This alone is not enough to draw a specific conclusion about the chronological location of FNaF: Sister Location, beyond the age one can assume of Michael in 1983, which still leaves us with a wide repertoire of options. But this is where a page from the Survival Logbook comes in that I had not given enough attention to at the time, but now makes me believe that it was always the answer; the page 32 39.
This is one of the few pages that Mike uses to draw something. At the time, most of us thought that it was only supposed to depict that this book was clearly meant to reveal Golden Freddy's soul name. And even if I still believe that's the case, there's still the question of "why would Mike draw a tombstone in the first place?" Perhaps we should take a look to what the page is about:

Most of the people believe the book is meant to give us a better look at Mike during the events of FNaF 1, with several of us believing the same despite the book actually being meta (not an in-universe logbook). Since the strongest stance that FNaF: Sister Location takes place after FNaF 1, because Michael mentions having already met the Missing Children and the "Dittophobia" story revealing lore of Circus Baby's Entertainment and Rental, is very clear for most of us that Michael had his first death after FNaF 1.
If this page was meant to depict that he died five years later, and "Into The Pit" was meant to reveal that he died being a 30 years old guy, then not only we would reach the conclusion that FNaF: Sister Location is set in 1998, but also that Mike would have been a 25 year old guy during FNaF 1. Now, where we've seen that same age for Mike before?

At twenty-five years old, Mike was okay with his age. He was cool with his looks, too. He was five foot six and in pretty good shape, even though he didn’t have time to work out too much. He didn’t think his dark brown hair, hazel eyes, and regular features were particularly handsome, but they weren’t ugly, either.

Yes, FNaF: The Offical Movie Novel, where Mike Schmidt is a 25 year old guy. We have the right to question whether Mike's age during the year 2000 in which the movie takes place is appropriate for what he was in FNaF 1 for obvious reasons, but at the same time, it is a probability considering what Scott Cawthon said he had planned to do with these films during Dawko's interview:

and people who go to see the movie aren't gonna want to see a retelling of the books. They're gonna want to see the first game. They're gonna want to see a retelling of the story that got them interested in the first place, you know? The first game had the right atmosphere, the right characters, and that's what people are gonna want. And um, ideally, if the first movie does really well, I think it will work great as a trilogy. Um, Five Nights at Freddy's 1, Five Nights at Freddy's 2, and Five Nights at Freddy's 3, based on the first three games.

And since then, there were a lot of statements either from Scott and the people involved on the movie themselfs that FNaF: The Movie was clearly meant to reimagine the first game.
My conclusion would be that FNaF: Sister Location takes place in 1998 (not sure in what season tho, maybe Autumn?) and that Michael Afton was a 15 year old kid during 1983, a 25 year old guy in 1993, and finally, a 30 year old man in 1998. What do you think?

I was diagnosed with partial previa at 20 weeks scan (it was 0.8 cm over the cervix, posterior). It never moved an inch until 32 weeks. I scheduled with my doctor another check at 36 weeks , but at 34+2 I had my first bleed.
Wasn’t that much, mostly like a mild period. Was admitted for half a day and then discharged.
At 35+2, exactly a week later, I had a second bleed. This time it was more, still not enough to soak a pad, but was mostly like a big period… I was rushed to the hospital by ambulance. I was checked, all was good and had to stay in the hospital. By the time I was there, the blood had stopped, so I was already having brownish discharged. The day after, they sent me home. It was 6.00 pm. Then, I was laying on the couch and at 11.30 pm I felt like a big gush in my underwear. I suddenly knew. My third bleed. At 35+3. This time it was a lot! Called the ambulance, went straight to the ER, the blood flow had decreased but given that my first pad got soaked in 3 minutes and that nit was my third bleed, I was asked the consent to get steroids shots for the baby lungs.
I was told that I could deliver via C-section that night. Luckily, the blood flow kinda stopped. It was scary. I got the second shots of steroids after 24 hours and today (35+5) I am still having a bit of blood loss - turning brown but still kinda purple. I haven’t passed clots since Sunday. I am wondering if that’s normal .. i just keep having some red/brown discharges.
I have an appointment with a gynecologist of friday to discuss my case. The appointment was initially the one we set for 36 weeks, when we had to check the placenta location. Given the 3 bleeds I had in the past week, I doubt that my placenta has moved. So i am prepared for a c section and I believe they will want to schedule it before 37 weeks.
What ‘s your experience? For how long did you bleed after your scariest placenta previa bleed? And when did you end up delivering after the bleeding episodes?

I was 18 and football and wrestling were over so I decided to try weed for the first time. I had no prior experience with any weed before. I bought these "delta 8" gummy peach rings. The package said do not take more than 4 within 8 hours. I thought I was being responsible in taking 3. They were 50 mg a piece. For my first weed experience I took 150mg of THC.
My experience changed my life. I am in a constant state of questioning my own existence and the absurdity of all things in existence.
I took them around 8PM, and went to take a shower to relax hoping to coast into a peaceful high. After about 30 minutes of sitting in the shower nothing had come on so I decided to go to bed with my girlfriend. I laid there for a while and remembered that the new Boba Fett show had just dropped a new episode. I decided I'd watch that. My girlfriend had fallen asleep within the first few minutes of the episode, so I was watching it alone in bed.
About halfway through i started to feel a little hazy. But nothing I didn't expect, I was exited that it had started. So I just laid back and let it wash over me.
I don't remember how much time had passed but eventually I convinced myself that I died. I was horrified but this realization wasn't anywhere near as mind altering as what was to come.
I began seeing these fluttering hazy colors surround either side of my field of view. The colors sort of looked like the 2 Use Your Illusion album covers from Guns and Roses.
I eventually came to the conclusion that these colors represented my understanding of "Heaven and Hell" and as I thought more on my morality and the life I had lived, either side would seem to overcome the other. I remember hearing distorted voices from each side.
This went back and forth for a while, and I began to hyperventilate. I began questioning my understanding on either side. They were only represented by the color that they were and the distorted voices coming from each of them. I lost sight of which side was "heaven" and which side was "hell". I knew that I needed to choose either one to envelop me but I didn't know which side was which. It was clear though that there was a distinction between the two.
I don't remember which side I ended up on. But what I do remember is that shortly after I was absorbed into the side I chose, everything was ripped away from me.
This is where it began.
My entire understanding of my own existence was taken from me. I heard distorted chanting surrounding me, it felt like every single atom around me was chanting. The chanting was distorted and droning, it wasn't English but somehow I knew exactly what they were communicating to me.
It was that absolutely nothing exists.
They were deconstructing my understanding on everything. I do mean everything. For example, I remember early on as my understanding of time left me the chanting said that "we create concepts like time" as if to distract ourselves from the absurdity of existence.
When I say I lost my understanding it's important to know that I don't mean that I was incapable of grasping the concepts of things like time and physical space. It was more so that they were taking those concepts and pointing out the fact that they are completely illusionary and nonexistent, and were crafted to create this false reality that I understand and live in.
I became aware of the fact that absolutely nothing existed, and I began to feel that fact in a physical way. It's hard to put any of this into words but it's most difficult to describe they way I felt physically.
I felt like I was infinitely compact. I felt my own nonexistence. I felt like I was a singular atom being pressed inward by surrounding atoms. I also somehow felt this friction stretching me in every possible direction.
I just remember feeling like I was an atom inside a dense piece of matter like a rock.
I looked to any comforting experience from my life to escape. But it just lead to more deconstruction of my mind.
Eventually I came to the conclusion that I have always been in this place, and that I was just blissfully unaware of it. Therefore my entire life, friends, family, experiences, and memories were all imaginary distractions from this reality.
This went on for what felt like actual eternity, and eventually after throwing up I suddenly felt my own heartbeat, and something about that brought me back to my reality.
I just remember thinking "my hearts beating, so I can't be dead." And I fell asleep. I didn't wake up until 2PM the next day in a pool of my own vomit. My girlfriend had taken some edibles too and woke up after me not recalling any vivid experiences.
We went and got Pizza Hut, and went about our lives. I had a really hard time coping with the experience for a while. I had panic attacks several times over the next few months.
6 months after the experience I graduated high school and married my girlfriend.

TL;DR - selfish asshole of an older brother scams me and my parents out of $200.
Okay, so I’m not doing too well financially, but I live with my Mom and Pops so we try to make ends meet. A couple weeks back we were in such rough shape financially, that I had to juggle three day jobs just to cover rent and suppress the collector’s from knocking on the door regarding our collective debts. We so broke I literally can’t even afford to sleep because in the night=I can get freelance work done. “I can sleep when I’m dead,” has become my full-time motto (unfortunately). Anyways, to try to bring some income in my household I offer services as a freelance video editor.
A while back, my older brother (who’s a career criminal and has flee’d multiple countries when authorities were after him for violent offences) hit me up and asked if I’d be down to edit for him. I was hesitant at first, being as last time I heard from him was after he beat our Mum to a pulp when I was only 12. For context bro or sis, whoever you are that is reading this: if I was only three years older I wouldn’t have let that slide—I would have mobbed his ass right then and there, pinned him down and done him so fucking dirty… IDGAF if my 15 year old ass had gone to juvie for it, I would do anything for my mother, including take a life. But instead, all that’s been imprinted in my brain is how much of a bitch I was at 12–cowering under the dining table as he took multiple shots with a shoe, at our crying helpless mother on the ground.
Anyways it’s been a few years, I’m 24 now and he gave me a big sob story how he has changed. I bought it up like the good little sheeple I am… started editing for him under the guise that he’d pay me $200 per video: SCORE! That’s a lot of money!!!
I got to know his business (shady as fuck) and got to find out he now dreams of being a finance influencer (double shady) but alas, he’s my big bro and no matter what wrong-doing he’s doing, he convinced me that he was a good man. Ight, bet, I’ma edit for him and make some money for the fam! In between his ‘takes’ of videos he sends me, I piece together that his “wife” films the videos, and he’s still an extremely abusive person. He tries not to let it show on camera, but I’m really good with people, emotions and hidden trauma so I can feel the sickening ‘abuser-of-people’ energy SEEPING off of him, still, to this day. I feel sick to my stomach editing for him, but shit, he’s promised me $200 per video. Over the course of a few weeks I can see why he never told us about his wife, it seems he keeps her pent up somewhere in Georgia, Batumi, and forces her to do whatever he wants. He once referred to her as “his slave” which I originally thought was A JOKE, but now in the grand scheme of things… I don’t think it was a joke. I pray that authorities get to them before he does something to her, but idek where to begin to put a ‘concerned citizen tip’ in a foreign country.
Some context as to why I put up with all the red flags: Mom’s not working as she has to take care of the house and she’s also trying to make money online, any ways possible. She’s starting to sell her favourite clothes. It fucking breaks my heart that I can’t do shit about it… at 24 years old, with all the social media influencing and advertising, I feel like garbage that I can’t fully support my parents… at least not yet! Dad is constantly depressed because he’s almost 80 years old and can’t retire ‘cuz my parent’s are in too much debt.
Okay, anyways, three BIG videos done for him (by big, I mean I spent +8 hours on each vid) and brother’s paid me for ONE via PayPal… no worries, he keeps leading me on saying the money will come, the money will come. And PayPal says I got $200 coming my way from him! Uhh ight, bet? Mind you, I start PLANNING my life around this $200 notification because that’s a hot stack for me and my family!!! Takes PayPal about 20 days to actually let me use the money… ridiculous because we NEEDED it… but that’s okay, I work around the problems in life, much like we all have to.
Here comes the turning point: I’m a little overworked and a little coo-coo sometimes, and one night I start telling him personal shit, kinda pouring out my heart to him, venting almost. I don’t really remember about what, just life I guess, nothing negative towards him. Somehow he misconstrues it, gets upset with me, and ‘tells me off.’ I get upset with him, tell him his business is a sham and I’ma change the rules that we agreed upon. Since his fake-ass can’t pay me what was agreed upon, (maybe $200 is a lot for him, as well) so I ask him if we can do $10 per hour instead. I pitch to him that moving forward, anytime I edit more than five hours ($50), I will refuse to edit until the money gets sent. The conversation turns hostile, QUICK. He calls me a ton of bad names with an underlying message that I’m the biggest loser on earth for pursuing a dream in working in Entertainment & he ends it with a sweet “you’ll never be anything.” LOL WHAT? Completely out of pocket and out of left field, so naturally, I tell him to eat shit, I won’t be doing anymore free work and he can pay me a mere $30 (yes, thirty dollars) for the entire portfolio of audios, texts/scripts, videos, and clips I’ve taken from the internet that ‘match’ the vibe he wants in his videos.
Context: at this point I’ve completed SIX FULL VIDEOS FOR THIS DUDE and he’s only paid me the one payment of $200. Not good at maths? Me neither, lemme help you out. He owes me $1,200 from our original agreement because I’ve spent more than 48 collective hours working on his videos, and he’s only paid me $200. But I tell him: I’ll let it all slide if he pays me $30 for the portfolio of about 50 gigabytes, and then moving forward, he’d pay me the $10 per hour if he wanted more content from me. He already has the six full videos in his possession. The ‘portfolio’ is stuff I’ve found that’s free-use on the internet, stuff that I’ve compiled, and even some scripts that I’ve written out! ALL MINE that I did for HIS business. So it seems logical for me to give this portfolio as an option, just incase he wants to say nah moving forward on me editing for him, and just take the material & go our separate ways…
In response, my (35 year old) brother files a complaint on PayPal claiming he only hired me for a channel encompassing trailer that I did not provide and that I’m attempting to extort him for more money. LOL, WHAT? PayPal’s like BET and automatically attempts to deduct from MY chequing account, without even getting to the bottom of it. Obviously doesn’t work, my account (not PayPal account, my fucking bank account. these mf so overzealous that they reached right into my mf pocket!!!!) gets put in the negatives and I attempt to appeal, with no sweat on my brow ‘cuz I’m like no way PayPal finna let this slide. I then proceed to message my terrible relative multiple times, with texts, videos and audio recordings and I’m in a hysterical mess. I begin threatening him, I begin begging to him, pleading with him, saying anything under the sun just for the hope that he has some heart and would send back the $200 if PayPal does end up taking it from me. Already my chequing was fricked but I could do some damage control… I was cocky, thinking PayPal would obviously side with me once they heard the whole story, so I also told him since he’s caused such pain for me out of absolutely nothing, like completely unprovoked, then shit: I want the original $200 PLUS an extra $200 for all this trauma. He responds by blocking me on everything. It’s 4 A.M. and I’m shaking as I’m typing this…
Somehow after all the information I provided, PayPal sides with him. Wow, wait, what? PayPal has since tried to deduct my PERSONAL CHEQUING ACCOUNT multiple times in order to fish back the $200 which I ALREADY HAD TO USE!!! Idk if you ever had a payment tried to be taken out of an account which already has a negative balance, but the payment doesn’t go (it does a minus then a plus) but usually the bank is like WTF and charges you fees. Multiple times = Multiple fees…
Before, I was in the negatives on my ONE chequing account I own… now I’m in the NEGATIVE-NEGATIVES… no clue how tf I’ma get out of it, but we all persevere eventually! I’ve reached out to PayPal but I’m almost sure nothing will come of it.. I’m considering taking PayPal to small claims court to somehow try to fix all this mess, but I fear it’ll break me off more trouble than repair anything. If you want to DM me, I’ll gladly give you my brother’s socials to send a report to his accounts on Instagram or TikTok, or even leave him a not-so-nice comment if you’d like. I’m so confused what’s happening. I’m a 30 year old female. Have not had an issue EVER with anything down there. Gave birth 10 months ago and have been breastfeeding for 10 months straight. Had a second degree tear during birth. Everything down there was purple and I figured my skin just had bad trauma. I noticed recently it all turned white!! Bleach white. I’m freaking out. It’s white from my tear all the way to my butt crack almost. I’ve had itching but only around my butt area. I thought it was due to pp constipation ect but now I’m noticing my skin in my butt crack feels thick in one spot and is looking different than my other skin. All other skin is just white. No itching anywhere else. My gyno put me on estrogen and wants to do a biopsy and my Derm said we should treat it now like it is LS with a steroid. I don’t know what’s happening! Why did this randomly happen. Will it go away when I stop breastfeeding and my hormones level out? Any experience with this or it getting better? My anxiety is freaking me out. Please give any and all advice!

Four months straight of net losses in players -- going on five months straight, safe to say. Every month following that update shows a decline in players, most of them substantial. A major update is supposed to have the opposite effect, is supposed to extend and revitalize interest in the game, no?
Compare to 2023 trends when this game was in a healthy state. As of April 2024, something like 30% fewer avg players and 40% fewer peak players compared to April 2023.
(Fanbois: "bUt tHE wEaThER iS nIce" or "tHE gAmE iS fiVE yEaRS oLD" or some other anemic excuse. As I mentioned above, see 2023 trends when the game was in no way brand-new and even had less content, but was in a healthy state.)
Caveat: I do have an ax to grind. This was one of my favorite games until I uninstalled a month or so after the update in which the devs flat-out broke their own game in what seems to be either a deliberate act of self-sabotage or else incompetence so comprehensive that it boggles the mind.
PS -- even before I realized they broke the game, I knew things were going south when I saw the shit-ass ugly new costume some purple-haired "artists" in the development team shoved Daniela into:

To be fair, some of the other newer skins are quite well done; however, that Daniela defacement is unforgivable.
But in summation, few things articulate "shoddy last-gasp ham-fisted cash grab" as efficiently as this sad situation.

TL;DR - after several years of bad sleep, I exhausted every other treatment and am now in CBTI. But CBTI feels like they're treating a different person with different sleep issues. Does it actually work? (I know there are papers claiming that it works, but the execution seems so terrible, I don't see how it could work.)
M47. Around 3.5-4 years ago, my sleep started to degrade and I began to have memory issues. I've jumped through a lot of hoops since then - three sleep studies, 10 months of CPAP (only for the lab sleep study to show inconsequential sleep apnea), urologist/ultrasound showing no issues, etc. I'm now doing CBTI (with my second provider, the first was useless.) That last sleep study showed that my sleep goes through all of the normal steps, and I'm not being woken up by a need to urinate or leg movement or any other potential issue.
My basic sleep pattern is:

1. Take THC edibles (20 mg is best) prior to bedtime
2. Lay down, turn off lights, fall asleep within 5 minutes (never had an issue with sleep latency)
3. Wake up after ~90 minutes
4. Lie there for a couple of minutes, get up and go to the bathroom, come back, fall asleep in a few minutes
5. Repeat steps 3-4, but at some point, I can't fall asleep again
6. If it's 3:30 or earlier, take more edibles (5-10 mg)

The CBTI provider is very focused on, as a first step, getting me to stop taking the additional dose in the middle of the night. He now wants me to take sleeping pills to get me to sleep all night with just the nighttime dose. He suggested Dayvigo, but my PCP said she wouldn't prescribe it; she said if I wanted sleeping pills, I should start with Trazodone, and only if that didn't work, should I move on to something else.
I really don't have much faith in CBTI at this point. Though my new provider is better, it always feels like they're trying to force-fit me into somebody else's symptoms. I tried to cut my THC use at the provider's request, but I end up having a terrible night's sleep after 5 or 6 nights, and it seems like CBTI says I need to just suck it up and somehow make it through the day.
I told the CBTI guy that the day after a poor sleep (say 4 hours) are very difficult. My cognitive capabilities are extremely degraded - I have more memory trouble than usual, and I will often just trail off in the middle of a sentence or lose track of what I was doing. I also feel like I'm a danger driving home from work. I have a 50-mile drive and at the 30-35 mile mark, I have to talk to someone on the phone and pull on my hair or dig into my scalp to stay awake. Thankfully I'm only going in two days/week.
CBTI guy seemed to dispute my reality. Something about how one bad sleep shouldn't do this to me, and that people find out that they don't quite perceive the impact of their sleep issues correctly. Say what you want, but I think I'm a pretty good judge of when I feel like I'm going to crash into the divider on the highway.
It all feels very adversarial. The first provider I had was atrocious. She would get mad at me for using the term "sleep cycles", she told me that my radar sleep sensor doesn't work even though she didn't know what it was (and I tried to explain that I merely use it to keep track of how many times I got out of bed during the night, which it's really good at, but she wouldn't listen), and even got annoyed at me for saying I wake up 4-5 times/night because in reality I have additional imperceptible wakes (the sleep study showed 14 total) but it should be obvious that I'm only talking about the ones I notice!
In my most recent appointment with the new guy, I told him that I tried taking THC only at bedtime as we discussed, but eventually I ended up getting a really bad sleep, and all I can think about the next day is how I'm going to go to bed early and get more sleep to make up for the previous night. He threw out the whole "paradoxically, that doesn't work to go to bed earlier, you need to maintain the same bedtime and wake time." This feels like he's just grafting CBTI dogma onto me. Yes, many people who have insomnia do not get more sleep if they go to bed earlier. But I do! And if we have no plan and we're messing with my THC dosage, I'd much rather recover from a bad night's sleep than do some sleep hygiene b.s. that has not been shown to improve your sleep.
I asked how many weeks the treatment would take if we went down the sleeping pills path and it took forever to pin him down at 8 weeks. I said it would be good to give me a doctor's note so that I don't need to drive into the office. He thought this was very weird (it was actually suggested to me by the previous provider) and unnecessary. But if we're going to restrict my sleep and make me exhausted, why would you want me to do something that's dangerous to myself and others?
I could go on. It feels like the goal is to find fault with what I say and do, but without offering me any details into what the plan is. I told him today that I needed a schedule with stages and I couldn't deal with these ad hoc modifications to my sleep. He agreed but said it would take him time to do it - am I the first person who ever asked for this?

That thing is beeping? He takes a look at his TPCS pad and he's got a message saying that he finished the Block in under 4 hours and there's a little attack bonus- Under 4 hours? It's been over 4 days!! Checking the time on the device reveals that the portal times in terms of a "map frame" out there in space, and the passage of time has been vastly dilated on this planet.

"Tightniks," the yellow one comes back from the second full bin to the filling third bin, watching the human fold up another of his very first inventions, the very first thing he built after jumping through the mysterious green phenomenon exiting the crashed ship, "Why in blazes are you building so many traps?"
The human had finished another and tossed it into the bin, then picked up the now ever-present portal control pad, gets it out of auto-sleep and called up the "Achievement Points" page. "I have this weird hunch," he says.
"Deja vu? That familiar feeling we always have?" the yellow one inquires politely, slightly tilting its head.
"May I?" Tightniks turns up his hand and waves it up and down in a lifting gesticulation, then points at the trap pile.
"Sure," the yellow one understands, "if you'll put me back down after."
The human sets the pad down, stoops at the knees and gets his arms under the yellow trimp scientist's front limbs and lifts it up onto that stack of traps with a grunt; it is an impressive demonstration of his improving strength against the planet's high gravity. Then he picks up the pad again and points at one of the blank purple squares near the bottom.
"You don't know what that is," the yellow one says, "Are we going after that first one that is readable?"
"Yes," the human nods, "it's for finishing something called a Dimension of Anger, whatever that is, before getting something called Bounty."
"Whatever that is," the trimp chuckles.
"No, I know what it is," the human says, "I remember it being access to a resource-rich area on the other side of a green Wall we'll find with our next map route. It doubles our resource production."
"That would be handy," the yellow one says.
"Hmm," he nods, "But all the traps are for this one," pointing at the third square in the top row of the array the pad labels "Feats", the second of three that are purple.
"Oh," a stylus materializes in the yellow one's paw, "Well, all it says is 2.5%. It doesn't say how to get it. Something to do with traps?"
"Something to do with traps," the human chuckles, "that's only convenient to do now."

Other trimps can understand the grey one better than the human, "Shijou shijou shijou?" is what a human ear would hear, but it's really asking the yellow one, "You mean he knew it was going to be here?"
"Yeah," the yellow one nods.
"Well, it's gotta be that pad none of us finds familiar," the grey one insists.
"I don't think so," the yellow one argues, "He showed the reason for all these traps to me on the pad, and the information is not yet available there."
"Well, it can't be just a coincidence," the grey one grumbles.

"What is that?" The red one asks the yellow one. It grabs a stick and lifts the strange square object up by an edge from as far away as he can.

"It seems to have some sort of cooling effect," the red one says, looking underneath it, having tilted it up with the stick, "Like it's not just cold, but actually cooling down, as though it were the opposite of on fire."
"Shijou," the grey one says, holding a note.
"It's a void map. Grab it with a blanket and put it on the cart please. - Tightniks"
"Shijou shijou," the grey one clarifies, "The new pad said 'void enabled'. Guessing it's that."
10h06m21s: Zone 21, 1975 pop, 19.6s RC with Z20/232, no turkimp.
"Ooooookay," Tightniks growls, "There is something off about this thing."
"Shijou?" the grey one looks at the yellow one with concern about their human starship pilot friend.
The human stoops, picks up the little green gem on the ridge between Zone 20 and 21, looks at it, huffs, and asks, "Any idea where this comes from?"
"Err..." the red one seems hesitant to say, "I think you made it."
"Really?" the human huffs, "How could that be?" Then he tosses it at Red, "See if anything reacts to it. It might be radioactive, so we should take turns to minimize exposure."
"Really?" Red's holding it now, "What makes you say that?"
"Because I'm pissed off for no reason I can figure out," the human says, "I think it's coming from-" he gasps, "Waitamint!" He starts searching for the portal pad.
"Frags," the red one says quickly, "I think it's arranging a route. You're good with maps," it tosses the gem to the grey scientist.
The human has his portal pad up and reads aloud, "You have the Discipline challenge active. Tweak the portal to- yada yada yada. Tiss tiss t- completing The Dimension Of Anger will cause Trimp damage to return to normal." He snaps his fingers, "That's gotta be it."
"Shijou," the grey one says hopefully, and has a map drawn within a few minutes.
12h30m06s: Portal, 45 He, 3.600 He/hr, 2098 pop, 18.3s RC, 1% AP for Portal-before-Bounty.
The last head of the map's boss monster goes limp as one of the fighting trimps' dagger points goes into it, and the huge thing settles on its tail, resting on the package that seems to be the prize of this map. And there's a popping sound, and then something mechanical.
Is that a scroll compressor? Tightniks looks at the package. The deflating monster's lifting envelope material drapes over everything underneath it. "Red, Shijou!" he snaps and points, "roll up that side of it. Keep this part from sucking down on the extractor nozzle!"
All fifty of the scientists jump in, literally, pushing the gas in the bag towards the compressor. Tightniks as well, rolling up the front.
Until he kicks, and nearly trips over, a smaller package that might be the explanation for the reason why the center of the monster's defense seemed to be a little away from the big package he could see. It's in the right place, he realizes. He gets it uncovered and reads stenciled-and-sprayed block letters on it:
"DT TIME PORTAL / THIS SIDE DOWN"
Perhaps the Dimension of Anger is so named because of the rage suddenly rising up in Tightniks' throat. It isn't so much as the free-floating aggression suddenly has an answer, there is definitely a fresh batch of rage and anger as he grips the nearest Dagger V, Mark 2 with both hands- ...I must have gotten used to destroying it at some point. He lets go of his weapon with his right hand first and dangles his left arm while holdi-
Refocusing on surviving the next few seconds, the pilot turns on the radar for the final approach and takes a last look around, then straight ahead at his forward camera and primary flight display...
He crouches, sets the dagger down gently, then starts clearing the debris from the box's grab iron. He tries to lift it- Damn, this is heavy!
Surprised at this turn of events, his two oldest scientists, Grey and Yellow, rush to either side of him and help out. They get it flipped over and read the other side of the device, Tightniks chuckles a bit at its predictability:
"DT TIME PORTAL / THIS SIDE UP" There's a square cutout in the middle of one side of it, with a sliding cover at the bottom of it.
"Thanks," he pats his scientists, "but back off, please." He gets the cover unlatched, and slides it open to see, first a big rainbow-colored wide data cable and card edge connector, then several fluid ports. "There's something missing," he says aloud as he gets the cover completely off and onto the grass, "this connects to some-" he's got the wide flat cable up in his hand, realizing what it plugs into. He looks at his scientists, lips trembling, "G-g-g-get the pad."
The grey one already has the survival data pad and offers it to him.
"No, the other pad," Tightniks clarifies, "The big one. The big one," he picks up wide flat rainbow cable and its edge socket in one hand, "It goes here," he points at it with the other. "It must have come with me end of the last cycle."
Both the yellow one and the red one bring it, one on each side.
"Thank you," the human takes it, gets its hinge lugs on the trunnions at the top of each corner of the cavity, then gets the cable connector on the card edge in the pad's base recess, "See, that's where it came from." It comes on:
"12h30m05s: You have completed the Discipline challenge, unlocking a new memory-enable coolant loop and restoring your trimps to normal combat discipline."
"Do you have any idea what that's about?" the yellow one points at the edge of the left side.
"That's-" Tightniks examines it, then suddenly realizes, "It's gotta be for the void map."
He's got a port cover open, and the bottom of it says, "NULLIFIUM/VOID HEIRLOOM INTERFACE"
"Shijou?" the grey one brings the blanket-wrapped void map.
The human clears an edge of the map; doesn't seem to matter which one, and then gets it into the slot. It disappears and the blanket settles down while the environment goes deep blue and suddenly goes super cold. "Hoe Lee!" he shivers, wrapping the blanket around himself, "I hope this isn't too much of a Napolean-Hitler Maneuver!" He glances around, but all the trimps don't seem to discomforted by the sudden cold.
12h35m24s: Void 1, 55 He, 4.369 He/hr, 2098 pop, 18.3s RC, first void AP 1% and 0.3% AP for 100 He simultaneously, we got a rare shield, but it's lame with attack, storage, and empty.
As the environment around them return to normal, the trimps cheer over the deflated corpse of the- ...whatever, who give a hoot? Tightniks finds a flurry of messages on the portal screen, two regard APs, one is about having recovered 10 He units, and the big one was about a "shield". Through the touchscreen, he enables it, and gets the status effects that it's talking about.
"Where to now, boss?" the yellow one asks, Tightniks can feel the draft off the cold trimps. They seem to be extraordinarily robust ectotherms, unlike him.
"Let's go back to that friggin' Wall, where it's warmer," he shivers, "We got that AP and could use the resources." As he leads them to the L15 route, he thinks, Maybe I did that void too early. It takes on the level of our most recently entered Zone, and the resources probably go up accordingly. [I did for character reasons after seriously considering running it at Z25 or 30.]
12h49m37s: Nursery unlocked.
"Four hundred thousand gems!" the human squeaks, "Are you kidding me?"
Grey and Yellow glance at each other, the former says "Shijou?" and starts doodling a real answer.
"I'm not sure if you've noticed, but young trimps have special diets for healthy bones," the yellow one explains.
"You eat gems?" the human gasps.
"Shijou," Grey says with a shit eating grin just above a little sign that says, "Babies eat aluminate, and gems are the best!"
"Do they like the taste?" Tighniks tosses a gem from the helium compressor in the direction of the nearest house.
"Uh-Uuuuh!" after it bounces off a paving stone, a yellow juvenile with red head fur jumps into the air to catch it in its mouth. [Puchim@s Yayo. Liek seriously, she jumps after pennies.]
13h32m59s: Zone 25, 84 He, 6.199 He/hr, 2217 pop, 52.6s RC with Z24/568, no turkimp.
It has an unusually light colored body, dark head fur that lies flat, and for trimp tails, wide and not all that prehensile, reminds Tightniks of a- ...he remembers what the animal looks like, but not that his home planet is called Earth nor that the animal is called a tanuki raccoon. Just the tail, the rest of the trimp looks like a trimp for the most part. Oh yeah, the mining foreman. [Puchim@s Yukipo] He turns to Red and asks, "What's wrong with it?"
"It's in a bad mood," the red one answers.
"I can tell," Tightniks glares angrily at the red one for a moment, cools off, takes a breath, and asks kindly, "Why is it in a bad mood?"
"We've never been out this far," the yellow one offers, "...well, with the portal captured at least. Now, it was in a good mood before it got near the cart after we started this zone. Something new on the cart?"
Tightniks approaches the mopey mining foreman and asks it, "What's the matter, little fella?"
It sighs, then starts struggling to climb [see 1x6] onto the compressor cart. Tightniks helps it up with a lift, then it goes to the portal pad and turns it on, opens up the coolant page, the challenges tab there, and sort of sighs and looks questioningly at him.
"Metal challenge:" the pad reads, "Tweak the portal to bring you to an alternate reality, where the concept of Miners does not exist..."
"Oh," Tightniks realizes, then huffs, "That explains the bad mood." He sits down with the mining foreman trimp and brushes its tail, "Don't worry, my friend. You'll be back after one cycle, and I'm sure I'll miss you and your miners. These guys," he nods at the scientists, "we're scared they wouldn't be back when I first used it on purpose, but they came back. If there's a 'Science challenge' later on, I'll have you and not them-"
The scientists flinch.
"It'll be okay," he assures the mining foreman he hasn't yet realized has fallen comfortably asleep in his lap, "It'll be okay, buddy."
16h11m02s: Gymnastic Z25 taken and gyms rapidly increasing now.
The 710 fighting trimps are majestic with their new gymnastic skill and nearly impossible to hit. Only occasionally did the gorillimp do damage. They took it down easily.
Then the dragimp they faced next blew them away with a fireball that made Tightniks flinch. It took him a second to get the dragimp back in his bee nickels. The next group was all ready to relieve their fallen comrades before they went down, even without the welcoming traps for the wild volunteers (of which Tightniks has just started into the 41st bin of ten thousand.) The dragimp can do nothing to them; anything that hits gets deflected by their V-8 shields; they never got sufficiently blindsided.
[Funny: V-8 is a veggie drink similar to clamato juice I can't find anymore, but it's really five-eight, which just happens to be the squadron number of the cast in Space: Above and Beyond. Herp-a-derp!]
19h11m12s: Spammed some random biome maps...
"Tai?" the grey one looks up at the human holding a little sign, "Last couple zones, you've been mapping a lot of random biome routes we never used. Is there any point to that?"
"Stats," the human says, fitting another one together, "Oh, and this," he tosses the trimp the completed forest route map."
As it registers in the portal system, the pad starts beeping and flashing its screen.
"What?" Tightniks sneers incredulously, "There's an AP for that?" He checks and sure enough, there's a 5% Achievement Point for making a 'perfect' map, by a full notch the biggest AP so far.
The yellow one was relaxing on the corner of the latest filled up trap bin, the 49th, notices, and leans back, "Yarey yarey..." shaking its head.
19h13m28s: Uberhouse taken.
"Shijou," the grey one stands at Tightniks feet holding a small book.
Tightniks takes a brief break from his trapmaking and stoops for his oldest scientist.
"Shijou," the grey one bobs the small book in its hands to offer it to Tightniks.
"Flush toilets and septic systems?" Tightniks reads, "You do this yourself?"
"Oh, don't you wish," the red one snickers, "No, it was in that perfect route you mapped up."
20h39m26s: Zone 30, 161 He, 7.794 He/hr, 4656 pop, 20N, 74.5s RC with Z29/1735, no turkimp, 2.5% AP for sub-60 He Z30 start...
"Oh?" Tightniks has an Ax V-3 over one shoulder and screws the helium hose connector to the portal system with one hand. He grunts, sounds kinda disappointed, sets the ax down and continues working on his massive pile of traps; he's almost finished the 55th of, he just learned, 100 huge bins.
The mining foreman had struggled up onto the cart to see, and just looks baffled. It usually looks a bit lost just as part of its demeanor, but this time it looks really quite confused, and makes rather bemused sounds too.
"Oh, what is this?" Red jumps up on the cart, sounding like it's gotta be silly.
The mining foreman climbs back down and spots a purple ore vein, makes a happy sound and pulls its shovel out of its back pocket to start digging into it.
[OC: This is not even close to an exaggeration vs. OG Puchim@s Yukipo who, in 1x2, just pulls out her shovel from nowhere and digs a hole through Project 765's indoor tile-and-concrete office floor to have a nap in the cold open of a 137 second long cartoon episode. Never run out of mushroom boxes! Also, 2nd season Golden Week gold medallion, she and Yayo dig into a volcanic island and hit an oil gusher ...you don't need to know much geology to realize...]
"Really?" Red groans, "Sheesh."
What's on the pad? "Hoarder: Have over 1 million traps at once, 2.5% damage."

"Hmm," Tightniks pauses from his trap building and gazes over where they came from.
"Thinking of something?" the yellow one asks from the stack he's building under his feet as he puts the most recent trap on the pile.
"Yunno, we have a lot of territory back there that should be pretty pleasant to live in," Tightniks says, "You'd think we should be able to just map an enemy-free route that trimps can just sit down and live peacefully in. I'd love to be able to do that."
"Shijou," the grey one is at his feet with a massive shit-eating grin, not really "hiding" a big piece of documentation behind its back. Obviously it's not so dumb as to realize that it isn't concealed. It then pulls it out and offers it to the human, "Shijou."
"What's this-" the human gasps, "Are you kidding?"
"Shijou."
"Well?" the yellow one prompts, "Let's friggin' try it, shall we?"

For some odd reason, that quiet little mining foreman is on the trap pile, fiddling around. Seems to be trying to arm one, has the spring catch on-
"Hey, buddy!" the human notices, "What are you-"
SPROING and it goes flying through the air. Does a few flips and turns, and then sticks the landing, strikes a pose, and makes a happy sound. [op cit. 1x57]
"What the-" Tightniks says, scratching his head, I wonder how much more damage the fighters could avoid if they could do stuff like that.
"Shijou," the grey one is carefully copying out the trimpese from a tattered and dusty scroll.
"What is that?" Tightniks asks.
"Where mining buddy learned that flip," Yellow says from the cart with feet playfully dangling, "another gymnastic book we picked up a few NMEs back. Probably another chapter from the same book, actually. It seems to have been torn apart and scattered."
"Is that right, bud-" the human looks around, can't seem to find the mining foreman, "Buddy, where are you?" It can't move so fast as to get out of sight this quickly!
"Po-wee!" it cheers from the bottom of its latest hole, which is beside a pile of rich bluish-greenish copper ore, onto which another shovelful flies out of the hole onto it.
22h44m17s: Zone 32, 205 He, 9.016 He/hr, 9548 pop, 30N, 37.7s RC with Z31/2712, no tkp.
"You should probably go," Red whispers.
The exhausted human has just sat down for a nap after tossing yet another trap into the huge bin stenciled "61".
"Really, I mean it," the red trimp scientist gently sets a paw on the pilot's shoulder, "Listen to sense please. Charge all this helium and use the portal; it'll make us so much stronger."
"Only 392 thousand to go," Tightniks sighs, "All the ones I've made go to waste if I use it now. I know it's only a two-and-a-halfer, but if I go now, I'll never be in de-" his head slumps into the nodding-off of post-all-nighter fatigue, "moo."
Red and the mining foreman help the snoring human gently down onto his side. The former quietly asks the latter, "Do you think he's doing the right thing?"
The mining foreman makes a particularly delighted squeak, grabs its latest flask of leafy-flowery infusion, which is just now cool enough not to punish such a maneuver with a nasty burn, and upends the whole thing in a couple seconds. It then bounds off joyfully towards the big pit mine over there. It does not often lead the general laborers because of the gymnastic and shield driven block fight, which needs wood, but it happens to be doing so today.
Yellow stands next to the grumbling unhappy green lumber foreman trimp, who is standing on the head of its dual bit ax with its chin on the end of the haft sticking up from the head on the ground. "Cheer up!" the yellow scientist gently prods it in the elbow, "There isn't a Lumber challenge."

"It's a familiar smell," the human says.
"There's no way we've been out this far since whatever it is that shtfed Trimp civilization," Red grumbles. [Word based on acronym SHTF, which stands for "stuff hits the fan" in its G-rated version. Long time ago, similarly derived "nsfw" was a kerbalese cuss word.]
"I think it's from before that," Tightniks clarifies, "from before the time loop stuff."
"I'm worried our fighting group is nearly a third of our population," Yellow sighs.
"Casualties bother you?" Tightniks asks, "I thought we talked about that."
"It's taking forever to breed up new groups, and these things, *snap* ow," Yellow didn't quite touch that one the right way, "you've got 661 thousand of are too small to help. If you don't go now, this will probably be our last Coordination and we won't be able to finish the next zone."

"Did you know it was there?" The red one asks the human as they watch the grey one transcribe another lost chapter of the Gymnastic book.
"No," Tightniks huffs, in a few minutes' break from his trap building, "But I'm not surprised, I hope it gets us Zone 36. In any case, as soon as I finish that millionth trap-"
The mining foreman makes a mournful sound.
"Don't worry, buddy," Tightniks pats it on the head, "I'll brush your tail again last thing before I go." He's working on bin #88.
1d08h00m10s: 12802 pop, 80N, 43.7s RC with Z34/5298, down from 27.4s; '31m00s...
Tightniks, wearing wool-lined leather gloves mixing shimp and bovimp ingredients, plugs the void map that they got from earlier in the zone into the portal, bundled up against the expected cold. He hopes that the fresh Gymnastic Z35 and Coordination Z34 will get them through it.

"Do you think you can get it back out of there?" Red asks the shivering human as he reaches for the portal.
There are a pair of ejector levers beside the void map slot which clicked when he inserted it, but the void map disappears, so it remained an open question as to whether they could get it back out. Making sure not to have his hands over the void map slot, Tightniks gets a thumb over each one and there's resistance like something is in the empty slot. He grunts and pushes down until they suddenly snap down, the ejected void map rematerializes. "Well, that's a relief," he sets it down and the starts doffing his coats and sweaters to let the warm air of the normal world reach him.
"Try again later?" Yellow asks.
"Yes," the human says.
"What, are you kidding?" Red scoffs, these things level up with the zones!"
"Later on in this zone, obviously," Tightniks grunts with a huff, and then turns to see the grey one holding its little sign with those exact words on it, can't help but smile.
1d09h08m09s: Snimp in Z36c74...
Having just finished yet another trap for bin #95 of the hundred that he needs for the million-traps AP, he tosses it in and looks to the front. There's not much left of that snimp, but it just killed a third fighting group. "The training bonus from running ten laps in an on-level map route doesn't transfer to the void, does it?"
"Shijou," the grey one says with a note of confirmation.
"And I'm getting close to done this pile of traps we need for that 2.5% AP damage bonus."
"Shijou," it says again.
1d09h08m21s: Snimp in Z36c75...
Tightniks sighs, "...and there's another one. So much for that void map with its heinous critically accurate fast voidsnimps and ugly boss fight." And he returns to building traps.
1d10h14m08s: Trying again...
"NULLIFIUM/VOID HEIRLOOM INTERFACE," Tightniks tightens the stuff around himself and then finishes getting the void map inserted with his gloves, and his fingers come together as it puffs out in a brief blue mist in the void environment.
"Timba timba," Tightniks hadn't even noticed that the lumber foreman was up on his head, pats him on the head, wants to get back to work. [No Puchim@s resembles the lumber foreman.]
"Oh, there you are," the human says, "Sorry, I wanted to finish the run with the mining foreman in charge of the resourcing workers. I don't know what's about to happen to it when I hit the Metal challenge."
"Who the devon talked you into into trying this thing again?" Yellow grumbles, looking up at the indigo sky and mysteriously shrunken and dim sun, hands- ...forepaws on its waist, not discomforted by the cold, but bothered by the re-attempt. [This cuss-word after Disturbed song "Inside the Fire".]
"Shijou," the grey one grins above a Rosetta-stone-like sign it's holding with "It was me." in forty-seven languages both human and trimp.
"Zone 37 is hopeless in the time it'll take me to finish building the traps," Tightniks says.
"Won't the cold slow you down?" Red inquires, "It seems to get to you for some reason we don't get."
"Timba timba," the lumber foreman confirms from its perch on Tightiks' jacket hood.
"Yeah," he huffs, tightening it down, "but it slows down the portal clock by the same amount, so who cares?"
1d10h38m48s: Voidsnimp in c12...
Even in the void, Tightniks has gotten used to the sounds of the combat and trimps dying en masse, but when he heard that voidsnimp screech, which is similar to a "drill" robot from an Earth video game he has almost totally forgotten called Descent (Interplay 1995), he almost involuntarily turned to see, Even way back here, they can damage us despite all that gymnastic training? Then it landed the critical hit and wiped them out, as all critical hits do on this void route. He still finished the trap he was working on before going back to the portal, "Forget this, we're just getting the zone blimp." He pops the map from the portal's void slot, and starts getting his void gear off. His uniform long since wore out, so he's wearing something much more cave-manny. [I picked that sound because that sucker was dangerous and terrifying and carried the nearly hitscan Vulcan cannon. There was no Descent II equivalent, but the Thiefbot was pretty annoying.]

Tightniks had nearly finished the long procedure for loading and configuring the portal, then sat down with the mining foreman to brush its tail like he promised.
The scientist trimps tried to hit the portal's activation plunger, but it refused to travel the full distance closed for any of them. Quite tired themselves out trying. The only one not exhausted into total silence was the grey one with its exasperated "Shijou..."
The mining foreman refused to go to sleep, and watched intently as Tightniks finally reached over and set it home with one hand. Its last nervous little sigh was the only thing he remembered-
The ship is without power, and Tightniks can't run the radar much without draining the batteries...

This is part number 3 of my story of how I started to (and still am) dating my platoon leader. As I've said before, I'm on my way into the civilian sector after completing my contract with the Army, and Matt and I are still happily dating. As always, I'm open to feedback/critiques/polite constructive criticism. This is a fairly tame chapter with one of many "firsts" we've conquered as a couple. After spending a second night in Matt's bed, this time naked, with his cum leaking out of me following last night's massage turned naughty, I woke up looking like a hot mess. He's clearly happy about my outfit when I come downstairs, as he looks me up and down. All through the car ride and coffee, he can't keep his hands off me and I love it! Our conversation is all over the place as we get to know eachother on a deeper level, and eventually it makes it's way to "experience ". so i used to be in this sub heavily when i originally started having anxiety and was first prescribed prozac.
it’s been 3 years and im decided to part ways (or at least try) here’s why
1) weight gain. i have gained over 50 lbs since i started prozac and i am almost positive that it is because prozac just makes me not really care as much about grubbing out on food. if i wanted to eat i’d eat and it was harder to control with prozac. im also someone who really did take pride in my body i went to the gym a lot and had a pretty good physique and now im up 50 lbs and not as beautiful as i once was lol.
2) hair loss? this i’m not sure if caused by prozac necessarily but ive read a lot that prozac can cause hair loss. when i started prozac i had a TON of hair (im male btw) nice flow and i got a hair cut after about a year of being on prozac and it just seems like my hair is thinning but it doesn’t feel natural if that makes any sense. also im only 23 so i shouldn’t be thinning as everyone in my family who is bald didn’t start balding until late 30s and my brothers who have the same hair as me are fine.
3) i want to feel again. now personally i think prozac has made me slightly numb to the world around me which was a VERY GOOD thing when i was having panic attacks years ago and it certainly helped me get to a solid place in my life but i just sometimes long for the feelings i used to feel so hard. like love, hate (for better or worse), being nervous and being excited and just being outside and seeing the world as it is.
4) SEX DRIVE this one isn’t as big of a problem for me as it is for others but i definitely used to be more horny LOL. this goes hand in hand with me gaining weight too. i used to love talking to girls and going on dates but now i am overweight and don’t really have as much of a push with my sex drive. i feel like if i wanna move forward in my life i need get these things back.

Had to put my dog to sleep a few days ago and I'm still thinking on what happen, even if I took the right decition or if it was too soon.
I understand that the info I'm posting here might/is not enough but any clues as to what happen might give me some peace of mind as well as knowing if my decition was "too soon".
Also, I have plenty of studies but they are not in English so Im just translating the relevant parts below, unless stated otherwise, the other values are either within range or never cared for by the vets that saw her. She saw multiple doctors/specialists over the course of 2 years. After each of the episodes I mention she was seen by a veterinarian.
Species: Dog
Age: ~13 years
Sex/Neuter status: Neutered, already had babies when we adopted her
Breed: Mixed
Body weight: 24KG/52lb Duration: NA
Past History:

Overall very healthy dog, about 8 years ago she had a small seizure where vet said it was likely due to parasites, administered the dewormer meds and it went away. (we always give her bi annual dewormers). 2 years ago she started with the following: Low glucose, the first time she was almost unable to walk, although this was the worst time, she showed consistent low glucose levels. (0.4-0.6 g/l) 1 month after she had hemorrhagic liquid diarrhea with severe abdominal pain. After this episode (which took about a week to heal), she would consistently get dhiarrea, tenesmus, abdominal pain (not that severe this time) and low glucose. We did several blood tests during this time, all showed normal except for cholesterol which would sometimes give \~200-250mg. Abdominal ultrasound was performed, only findings where a slithly smaller liver, irritated intestines and enlarged spleen. Vet checks both her glucose and insulin levels because she suspects insulinoma, results shows: Gluclose 0.74 g/l Insuline INS/(GLU-30) X100: 63.4 Insulin by radioimmunoassay 27.9 I check with 2 different endocrinologists about these results and they tell me that diagnosing insulimona is extremely hard but given the clinical symptoms and the blood values it is almost sure she does not have it, they recommend we check with a gastroenterologist. Gastroenterologist thinks its a food allergy/Irritable colon and she puts her on prednisolone and metronidazole for about a month as well as a diet change, she responds to treatment but as soon we took the prednisolone off, she would get worse. Vet says we keep giving her the prednisolone in lower doses, which we do and it helps but over time it losses efficacy and she also lost a lot of muscular mass, its harder for her to do anything now. She was also tested for parasites, all negative. 1 year ago: She also had back pain so we do X rays and all her column is full of Bone Spurs (Osteophytes), we also found a bullet right above one of her vertebrae. Fortunately it was not touching it. Apparently this was there since before we adopted her. Vet suggests we try CBD oil for the pain, we do and it had positive results not just for her pain but for her gastro issues, we are able to remove the prednisolone at this time. It did not cure her (to this point she still had all symptoms) but it did improve a lot, and since we removed the prednisolone she regained strength. More blood tests/ultrasound reveals 250mg cholesterol, and gradually higher renal values, mostly higher urea (>50<80),. Creatinine stays well below 1mg. 6 months ago: We give her the bi anual dewormer and magically after 2 weeks she had no more dhiarrea, like magically she is cured. She would have some gas and sometime tenesmus but its rare now and it gradually improves over time, also no more abdominal pain. I check with more than 1 vet again, trying to explain what happen, no one can explain it, they don't think it was the dewormer. Either way she is fine now. 2 months ago: We run a blood test so we can get her a teeth cleaning, all normal except for: Urea 99mg/dl Creatinine 1.31 mg/dl Cholesterol 287 mg/dl We also did an ultrasound, not revealing anything else except for little Biliary sludge (we put her on meds for that) and slithly senile kidneys, vet says its normal at her age and that it was not serious at this time. Dental cleaning goes fine, she took almost a day to recover from anhestesia tho, she would be confused/crying the whole time as well as walking in circles. 

Current history:

1 week ago: Tuesday: She ate and went to the yard to run, comes back happy and then lays down for a nap. Raises her head with an expresion like she ate an awful bug , all while salivating, and a minute after she is having a seizure. It lasts for about 2 minutes or so, she had a lot of foam on her mouth. She was extremely exhausted and panting after this, after 10 minutes she can get up again and starts working in circles, extremely confused. By that time, vet gets to see her (30 minutes after this happen) and thinks it could be gluclose related (60mg) at the time of meassuring it. The other 2 options being parasites or neurological, which he does not think its the case. I offer her some food and even confused as she was, she was HUNGRY. It took her till evening/night to recover. Wednesday: she was fine already just weak (she could not jump into the car for a ride for example). Thursday: She had no seizure but from noon she is circling again, not as bad as first time but she is obviusly distressed, confused and weak. Friday: It just kept getting much worse, she would barely recognize me when she saw me and could not stand up on her own, or lay down on her own. I had to help her lay down to get some sleep as she couldn't. She had another seizure, this time bigger than last one. She would eat/drink like a beast but I had to put the bowls in front of her or in my hand because she would not recognize them otherwise. She can see but its like she can't recognize whats in front of her. When vet get to see her, said that her pupils won't dilate and its a neurological issue, only option was to see a neurologist and run a battery of tests to see what was wrong with her, even then it was not sure she could be treated. We choose to put her to sleep because we could not stand to continue seeing her suffer like this. 

Please, any insight on what happen I would be really thankful.

Im in a relation with my wife since High School, since 2010 or so, we both went to the Military first her than me cause im 2 years younger, when she finished i started my journey, during that time in the military it was really hard for me to depart from her, i love and loved her the same since we've met during a school trip abroad, i think for both of us it was a love from the first sight. Since than she was my second half, i can't live without her, can't imagine a day waking up without her hy my side, we had some ups and some downs especially when we were younger, but never seperated for a moment, we had a very strong relationship, we welcomed our son in 2016, it was my happiest moment of my life after our marriage, we married in Prauge, and when we came back home we made another weeding for our friends and family.. At the beginning we had some financial struggle like many other young couples We worked 6/7 days a week, we started to save up, and when i started to notice the stress she experience on her work place i decided to change her life for good, cause such an amazing person like her deserves more than that, so meanwhile i was working at my place i was allowed a smartphone / laptop, and iv started creating our own niche business, worked 8 hours a day + 10 more on our current side project barley slept, ate, lost weight from 90 kilo to 54, i haven't had time to prep meals, but i grinded my ass out, in 2016 we officially staryed making sustainable amounts of money to keep me home to do it full time, and thats when our kiddo was born, so she also had enough financial freedom to stay at home and take care of our child without having all that burden of going to work, nannies, early kindergartens etc.... She stayed at home for the next 5 years raising our child and taking care of him. Since i was working from home i started to drink here and there some whisky, some beers, but not something crazy, i work from home i earn enough money, and she decided to get a small job as extra to save up some money for travelling and buying our first home, we had months with over $100,000 of income, at around late 2018 everything was going up hill, and all of a sudden, our payment methods placed a big halt over our business, and its the first time my life went downhill, I've lost clients, payments were all on hold, for a second my life was at its peak next second felt like im down in the dumps, had to figure out what to do next, had countless hours of research how to sort it out, called every possible banking institution world wide starting from United Stated, endingin Dubai, and thankfully light shined on us, and we made a deal with out local Visa/ and bank to let us accept further payments, we got our first SIP, we starrted to earn again, and life went on perfectly up until my father was diagnosed with throat cancer, where i had to work 24/7 alone on my project and somehow take care of my father, take him to chemo, radiations, countless doctor visits, he won his battle, he came out cancer free and it was a big day for all of us! week later he passed away, while we were giving hope for his survival, one second he was the most happiest men in the world for beating his fight against that horrible thing, next second his helpless eyes knowing he is about to did, trying to ask me for help, it was an traumatic experience for me and my mom, during that year i had horrible nightmares, i heard him gurgle when felt a sleep, i saw blood everywhere, i was depressed that i lost my father in such a horrible way, and during that time my only support was my wife and mom, me and mom helped each other to keep sainity, and here i staryed to drink a bit more, work hard and drink, never fainted never faught or argued with my wife, she was fine with that, and im not talkig about a bottle of whisky a day or something but yeah 6/8 bottles of beer, listened to music while i was doing my job for my clients at this moment she was starting her job at a special store for home stuff, so i took care of my son, fed him, went to the park so he would play with friends, and when she came back home she made meals, some house stuff, showered him, placed him to sleep, and i was her light station before sleep, we talked stuff up, she tried a lil to help me coup with my dads passing, bit she never were able to understand the pain i went through, stuff started to get little better, more Family BBQ partirs, we finally started to laugh, and my mom was shininv, cause she saw me there happy, she saw our kiddo, and she were thankful to her husband that she has us now to fully support her and help her, at this point my mother in law also decided to move from a big city to iur little town to "be closer to her daughter" not really, she started to rent a house a mile away from us, and i was happy that my wifes mother also living near to us, and that my wife will be see her more often, she also become part of our family after years living far away from us, when she came her husband (boyfriend) also started to get sick so she basically dumped him, and he passed away due to unknown reason (its important) we all went to the funeral it was another hit, after my dad he was for me like a second father i could talk too, few month after his passing her my wife grandmother who was living with my wife mom, started to stumble, stopped walking and was bed bound her cognetive functions also went downhill ina month she couldnt recognize her clise ones which was a hard moment for my wife, so she found an elderly house a care home so people will take care of her, while she is keeping all her social security money, a year later the grandmother passed away, i staryed to suspect that something ain't right, first her husband than her mother, but never put enough accent on that, in 2022 around September i started to feel really really ill, i started puking 4-6 times a day,, couldn't hold food, couldn't hold fluids i went to the Emergency place in our city and they gave me pills to stop me from puking, and now i started to stumble, fisr i felt at home when trying to get me some water, next fall occured on my way to the store, and another time when her mom asked me to help her with the computer, it lasted few more days untill i was unable to stand, use my hands i all become stiff my hands stopped worked and finally i was rushed to the hospital after a whole month of hell, when i arrived the Hospital i had memory issues, i couldn't tell what day it is, short memory is gone, i could recognize, wife, mom and kiddo, but i couldn't recall what i ate today, i could say good morning 10 tjmes a day to my wife, my eyes were running left and right that what i was told, i did all checkups at the hospital, they thought a brain injury or tumor, they took spinal fluids, blood work, urine tests, nailz, and hair tests, they couldn't find anything besides one drug test they ran randomly on me, they found around 870 mg of Benzodiaziapm in my blood test, i never even knew what that thing wmis, until my doctor started asking me question about that substance, if i ever took those pills, and i said no, i have no idea what that is and where it came from, when my cognitive functuons started to get better on week 4, i was in the Intensive care, monitors to keep me checked so i wont have lung failure, i asked my wife randomly to check her mom house for those pills, and guess what? She found that same pill box in her kitchen drawer, while she was on vacation with her friend, so we immediately started to suspect her mom, her mom was about go lose her current house and she knew i have a very good business that my wife also helping me earning money, she staryed to ask wierd questions which my friends confirmed, she always asked my wife if she kniws how to run the business, when i heard about that, i was proud of my wife that she finally can help me out at home dealing with clients, thats when my mother in law started to work on a plan to get rid of me, as she did in the past, she pisioned me during september on my 29th Birthday, thats right when i started to feel ill, after i was released from the hospital i left disabled in a wheelchair, my wife had to shower me, help me dress up, and feed me, i was peeing in containers and i couldn't even go number 2 cause from my chest down i lose all muscle control, i couldnt lift arms, legs, poop, and do simple day to day stuff, thankfully i was approved as a disabled person 110%, and since than im 2 years trying to recover, my legs still dont work, i cant feel heat, always numbbess, tingling sensation below wasted, and neurological pain which i try to coop with without and pills, crying at nights, alot, hard for me to get sleep, im always cold, i feel uselss, worthless, i feel like a burden on my wife, so last 26 of April i had a friend who came to visit we had some booze, nothing too crazy, we had some good time, laughed and i went to bed, while my wife downed two bottles of whisky with my friend, he noticed she got too drunk so he started to emoty her glass when she wasn't looking, after that she came to the room staryed shouting on me, mentally abusing me and telling that im stuff about she wants to leave me and son and start living her own life without us, she had enough of marriage, on the morning she couldn't remember that night at all, my friend helped me to get from wheelchair in bed, and than left her in the kitchen alone, where she continued to drink, i woke up arounx 7 AM she was missing from home, went to grab more liquor or beers i have no idea and the argument continued so i asked her to go get some sleep, and she thankfully did, when she woke up she had a good laugh about her behavior and i slipped on that as a one time occurance, i agreed to never have booze again at home, especially with her cause she cant handle it, on the 9th of may its a victory day for me, cause my grandfathers fought world war two, i bought few beers to raise a glass, for the celebration, and instead to be with me while we watch the Victory day parade, she suddenly decided to go for a walk, i left home alone my mom was with my kid, all went smooth up until 1 AM when i tried to call her, she answered and told me that she will be home soon, and afterwards stopped responding to my calls, my mom talked to her, and she said that she is near the neighborhood and will arrive soon, but she never arrived i started to worry, called her dozens of times she havent oicked up the phone, she ended up staying a night at her moms place for no particular reason, in the morning she came back told me that she wants a divorce cause she is young and want to travel thebworld and live a normal life and not stay like a jurse with me, she had enough of me beign sick, and usless (note im still the only one who brings income home) and she said she dont care about the kid anymore andi can have him (PS she also started ozempic course 6 weeks prior) so her therapist said she must stop using this stuff cause it cause mental problems, its 3rd week now she havent had a single shot, and all what happend became a bad dream for both of us, she regrets the stuff she said to me, and everything staryed to settle down, and today she broke again and startrd doing that again with the same demands she wanna leave after someone told her i was eating in a restaurant with my kid and i had a 300 cc beer on the table, i came back home all was great until today, when she was told about that beer, and it triggerdd her so hard that she want my signature and divorce, i love her, i need her and that she and our son is my only reason to live, and i cant let her go cause she is all of my life, and she doesn't care anymore.... She just want to leave me a disabled man with an 7 year old son, and kove to her mom. I haven't said anything bad to her, i didnt had an argument, never raised my arm on her, never done anything wro g to her especially with my conditikn where i barley hold a glass of water. I never thought about suicide cause i value my life and my mother, and son, i would never do harm to myself, but i feel like im lost, i lost everything in my life even though she is snoring right besides me when i write this, its feels like she enoys inflicting pain on me, mental pain she laughs when i cry, if feels like it give her pleasure, she was never like that before, and it hurts even more, since she started ozempic she started to say "she hopes she dies, she dont wanna live anymore, she had enough of been a mom, and a wife" stuff like that which she never said before, nor there was a real reason for thay, im not an abuser, i never done anything to her, and again im helpless man who is now disabled from chest and down, and im fighting to recover even 35% of body cobtrol would be huge for me, and instead lifting my soirit taking me in my wheelchair for walks outside, cooking me food instread of me ordering every god damn mill, i still lover her, i still want her to be with us, but it seems she already decided long ago that she doesn't love me anymore but never said that until she lost 30 kg with this hellish drug she injected.
Im lost i have no one to tell that, no one would really want to hear me talking about my struggles and a falling apart relationship with the best person i met in my life, my best friend, my wife, the mither of our child, my angel who changed ke for good, who found potential in, who inspired me to do better than i ever did before, i can't lose her, i won't lose her, i pray every night so she will change her mind! I really need her, im afraid to stay alone, im afraid to raise my kid in this state alone, and i dont want my kid to grow with only one parent because his mom dcided she wants to quit on us.
Uf anybody have anything warn to say, support ke, or kaybe an advise to approach her and try to fix that, the whole situatuon statlrted on the 26/27th of April and we are going through that until now, its getting better last few days as she let ke to hug her, and she aloowed ke ro give her a kiss on her cheek and after yesterday meal with my kid and that 300cc bottled beer, she at it again ;(
