Ok so I guess I might have to like totally delete me account after this cause this can go super wrong but I will take a risk as this needs to be said. Ok so they are these fucking Mexicans at my school I don’t say all of them are bad but a bunch of them are so in my PE like it’s filled with Mexicans you know the worst ones. They are usually the ones who have school fights so I have no intention on fighting with them cause I just can’t punch anyone it’s just to hard for me anyways I can’t stand blood or hurting someone anyways I said something back once but never after cause it’s just stupid at this point so they get angry that we don’t talk back and just go on like are they deaf why won’t they say anything like bitch we ain’t dumb as shit and failing every single class like y’all. So my friend knows a bunch of swear words in all the languages even Spanish so when this girl Dana we hate her called her Puta(bitch) my friend just went stared into her soul before walking out called her a bitch and said or wait should I say it in the language you understand and said puta. Ok so not even the Americans try and bully us Indians but like these Mexicans always cross the line not all tho. They call us ugly when they can’t look at themselves in the mirror. A guy 7th grade an Indian got sanitizer poured into his food but like that’s just dumb at this point. They literally spend so much time trying to dirt talk us while they put tons of makeup which by the way still looks ugly and also that perfume they wear just stinks so bad. I didn’t mean all Mexicans are bad but like I do feel like they are so realist while them them selves suck. This guy first day came up to me and like literally spoke in Spanish said something I did not understand like they don’t even understand English. AITA for not going to my best friend's baby shower?
Let's call this best friend, Mary. So, Mary and I are best friends for 11 years now.
Context: I always wanted to have a decor company cause I always love the idea of decorating a space and all the DIY thing. So I planned to open one with my siblings, Mary and 1 other friend. Mary was mainly hired to help with social media as she is good with socials. I had some experience in decor planning and doing decors for small events like birthday. It started great, we would meet at my place and I would teach everyone how to do decor, like balloon garland and etc. We all were do our share on learning how to balloon garlands, flower arrangement and etc. But Mary was the only one who puts very low effort. I didn't think much cause she will handles the social media marketing.
But later, when we did had our social media up. She didn't do much, I always have to tell her to please upload something, as initially we planned to put 1 post per week. Like the bts or sample decor setup we did. I was bit upset with this cause I hired her cause she was my best friend, my sibling didn't like this too. I didn't know how to tell her as she always get defensive about it. After this on and off of me telling her to do things, I gave up and did on my own.
Few months past, she told us she was pregnant. Obviously, I was overjoy as she was my bestie and I get to be the god mother. But things turn worst as everyone was angry with her including the other friend. Our company was called to do a decor for birthday party happening at a restaurant. It was a unicorn theme. Pre event, we all took the roles to do, I told Mary that she don't need to carry in any big stuff and only asked her to help bring balloons. Mary came late to event, making it late for us to do the balloon garland and also when she was there she went to eat saying she didn't eat and that she was pregnant. Of course, I don't want her to starve and her being pregnant but damn she took more than an 1hr to finish the food. And after she finish she didn't even help us, even to tie the balloon. We were concern on not giving her heavy job but she didn't do the balloon tie itself. We gave up after. This kind of things happened for many events of her saying she is pregnant and she can't come/help or she has a curfew. We all collectively decided to either work on this and she can quit as she was being paid the same as the others and everyone felt unfair. She decided to quit.

Fast forward to 3 months before the baby shower, Mary called me to ask if my event company can do decor for her baby's shower. Of course, I said yes and also was all prepared to do things beyond and above as I wanted it to be best as she was my bestie after all. So I quoted her the amount (which was lesser than the quote I quote for others) but she told me it was a lot and she was going through a hard time. So I reduce it even further to this point, it's only covering the items money and hourly rate. To note, I do have to pay my sibling and my other friends as they are part of it. But she told me it's still ex. I told her nicely that I can't do even further down and this is the best I could do, even offered to give desserts (I bake). She declined it. I thought okay, it's fine didn't think much.

2 months before the baby shower, she called me to come to the baby shower and help with the decor. So I thought maybe like arranging the desserts and all. But this girl called me and other friend (who is the event company who is a mutual friend of ours) to help her do balloon garland for free as a 'FRIEND'. First, I wouldn't mind if she asked me to do this at first, but she tried to low ball me and even said at one point why the prices are high as we are new to this business. She also, rented all the items like the background stand, tables all from another company for $300 when she knows that my company has the items for rent, FYI, the amount I quote her for decor was $350. She also spent $$$ on food. At this point, I just felt so down on how my bestie was treating me, my business which I had so much passion for and not wanting to rent things and help our business but wants me to do the 'FREE' service.

Finally when we reached the top of the mountain there was a lake. I didn't bring a swimsuit so I wasn't going to swim. But my ex was trying to get me to swim so finally I got in and swam with him. On the way back he switched with my best friend to ride in the car with me back to the church. On the way back to the church he stole my phone and put his number in my phone and texted himself. After that he started to text me a lot more.
A week after this he sent me a text that said "I really like her though dude. I just don't know how to tell her." I naturally asked him about who he liked. He said that he didn't mean to send that to me, but he told me that he had a crush on me. But then a couple days later he stopped texting me back and he told my best friend (the one he switched cars with) that he had a crush on her. He went back and forth between us for a while doing the same thing (pretending to text his friends that he has a crush on someone). The last time he told me he liked me he told me that he decided he would like me because my best friend would never like him...so he was settling for me. I naturally stopped talking to him romantically (i guess you could say) after that. But I never really stopped liking him.
Then a little after he told me he was settling for me he got a girl friend (at this point we were in 8th grade). Not going to lie I was a little jealous because I did like him. But a couple days later she broke up with him. A couple days after this he started texting me again. We talked from 8th grade to spring break of freshman year. In the beginning it was because we both weren't ready and we couldn't drive so we didn't see the point of dating when you can't go on dates. However, we were seeing each other every weekend freshman year. AND he kissed me before spring break. I thought this meant we should put a label on it because it was both of our first kisses and it meant a big deal to me. And we were basically dating anyways. He didn't feel the same way. We hung out the next weekend after we had our first kiss and he started making out with me the second we were alone. I told him I wasn't comfortable with it and it was moving way too fast for me. He replied with practice will make you comfortable with it so you should just do it so it becomes comfortable...WHAT. I thought oh yeah that makes sense (in my defense I was 15). then it was spring break so we hung out the next day and he asked me to be his girlfriend, I said yes.
In the beginning our relationship was mostly okay. But as the relationship he continued to push my boundaries more and more. I was extremely innocent I thought there was only kissing and the nasty, I had no idea there was grey area in between. He knew this and definitely used this to his advantage during our relationship. Whenever he would try anything new I told him I was not comfortable with this, he never listened to me. Whenever I would have a serious conversation with him about how I felt used in our relationship and felt like he didn't love me for me he would say he would fix it. News flash he wouldn't and would ignore me for weeks. He started to ignore me for longer periods of time. He would only stop ignoring me if I did what he wanted. And when I refused to do something he would say things like "but you did it before I don't see why you can't do it again" or "the Bible doesn't specifically say that it is bad" or "that it we were going to get married anyways" and other things along that line.
I started to stand up for myself more and refuse him more, however this resulted in him ignoring me A LOT more. He would text me only to ask weird questions like "what would it take for you to break up with me?" What kind of boyfriend asks that. Then the month leading up to our one year anniversary he ignored me...for a month straight. We then went out on a date for our one year anniversary. After we went to dinner we decided to go for a movie, but when we got to the movie he said that we should stay in the car and do something else. I told him no and said that if he continues to push my boundaries I will break up with him. We went to the movie and instead of going back to his house like we planned and took me home. It was weird he said he had to do homework...I did all his homework (if your going to lie at least be smart about it). I wrote it off as he must be upset at what I said. OH HOW I WAS WRONG!!!
My mom asked me to see where my sister was on find my. I had my ex boyfriends location and I saw that he wasn't even close to his house. He was at a house that I had never seen him at before. It was a big wealthy house. I had a feeling he was cheating on me I decided to ignore it because he said and I quote "I would cheat on a test but I wouldn't cheat on you" deep down I knew he was lying because he would say things like that to lighten the mood when he was lying.
After our one year anniversary he ignored me for a whole month again. I called him out for it and he asked me for space and asked if we could talk at youth group. I agreed. I thought that we were going to be okay because he came up to me and my leaders and started talking to us like everything was okay holding a taco bell bag. He then said lets go talk. He sat down and started to eat his food. He told me (while eating a beefy five layer burrito and drinking a baja blast) that he never saw us getting married he has wanted to break up with me for a while he just put it off because he didn't want me to unalive myself if he did. He also said that all his friends want to spend every second with their girlfriend and he can't say the same about me. I am not proud of this but I tried to get him to not break up with me. But he did.
Two days after he broke up with me his ex from 8th grade requested to follow me on instagram. I followed her back and guess what was on her story...SHE WAS FISHING WITH MY EX. Which my ex said "I don't want to go fishing with you because I like going by myself". I know someone that goes to their school and I asked her about it she said that his ex is known for sleeping with everyone boyfriend and that shes a rude person and no one likes her. Me and his ex are also both cheerleaders and we hear about everything going on from other squads from other schools. One of the girls on my team told me that his ex was bragging about the fact that she slept with him while we were together and he left me for her...weird flex but okay.
A couple days after I found this news we had summer camp. My ex was there. He made me very uncomfortable on this trip he was looking at me a lot and tried talking to me and came up and stood next to me a lot. After our break up I tried to ignore everything that happened because it was confusing and I didn't know how to cope. I was only 16 and I didn't know what to think.

Then I remembered one night that we were hanging out. He came over to have a conversation about my boundaries and how i don't like him pushing me to do things that I don't like. He seemed to understand what I was saying and he agreed to stop. However he stayed over to watch a movie. while watching a movie I fell asleep, I woke up to him doing things to me. I told him I was scared and that I wanted him to stop. He them moved and got on top of me and tried to move things further. But my sister was walking down the stairs so he quickly moved off of me. I was in shock. I never thought about it until camp. I felt so unsafe and disgusting when I was around him.
I tried to have a conversation with him on my own to have him leave me alone. Following the trend he did not listen. Instead he would do the same things as before but more often and brag about how he is grounded because he snuck out of the house to see the northern lights and did the nasty with his 8th grade girlfriend - they were not yet dating at this time.
I decided to bring this to my youth leaders and youth pastor. We decided to all have a conversation with him since I didn't feel comfortable confronting him about this on my own. My youth pastor talked to my ex to set the meeting up after camp. My ex said that if I wanted to talk to him I could reach out and do it myself. He was told that he could not attend youth group until he had the conversation.He came to youth group two times but left right after small group so he got out of the conversation. Then one night I was cheering at a basketball game and couldn't make it to youth I got a text from one of my youth leaders that they were trying to keep my ex there and that I needed to get to the church ASAP.
I got to the church and somehow looked him straight in the face while i confronted him. He lied and said that it never happened, my youth leaders and pastor believe me though which I am grateful for. They never questioned me which was relieving.

Pre event, we all took the roles to do, I told Mary that she don't need to carry in any big stuff and only asked her to help bring balloons. Mary came late to event, making it late for us to do the balloon garland and also when she was there she went to eat saying she didn't eat and that she was pregnant. Of course, I don't want her to starve and her being pregnant but damn she took more than an 1hr to finish the food. And after she finish she didn't even help us, even to tie the balloon. We were concern on not giving her heavy job but she didn't do the balloon tie itself. We gave up after. This kind of things happened for many events of her saying she is pregnant and she can't come/help or she has a curfew. We all collectively decided to either work on this and she can quit as she was being paid the same as the others and everyone felt unfair. She decided to quit.

Fast forward to 3 months before the baby shower, Mary called me to ask if my event company can do decor for her baby's shower. Of course, I said yes and also was all prepared to do things beyond and above as I wanted it to be best as she was my bestie after all. So I quoted her the amount (which was lesser than the quote I quote for others) but she told me it was a lot and she was going through a hard time. So I reduce it even further to this point, it's only covering the items money and hourly rate. To note, I do have to pay my sibling and my other friends as they are part of it. But she told me it's still ex. I told her nicely that I can't do even further down and this is the best I could do, even offered to give desserts (I bake). She declined it. I thought okay, it's fine didn't think much.

2 months before the baby shower, she called me to come to the baby shower and help with the decor. So I thought maybe like arranging the desserts and all. But this girl called me and other friend (who is the event company who is a mutual friend of ours) to help her do balloon garland for free as a 'FRIEND'. First, I wouldn't mind if she asked me to do this at first, but she tried to low ball me and even said at one point why the prices are high as we are new to this business. She also, rented all the items like the background stand, tables all from another company for $300 when she knows that my company has the items for rent, FYI, the amount I quote her for decor was $350. She also spent $$$ on food. At this point, I just felt so down on how my bestie was treating me, my business which I had so much passion for and not wanting to rent things and help our business but wants me to do the 'FREE' service.
AITA for not going to the baby shower as I felt not respected as a friend nor a business person? Oh yes, she made my other friend do the entire balloon garland for free which I thought how to do them.

It's been a while since I made my last FV Lore post; unfortunately life stuff has gotten in the way.
So this will likely be my last theory post (alongside one last Eragon post) until new books are released or Chris does a lot of revealing media stuff.
I'd like to have spent a few more hours refining and adding all the supporting evidence, but sadly time is running short for me so I need to post it as-is - Apologies for the lower quality than my standard.
That said, lets get into it.
The focus of this post is around this picture, curiously uploaded to Paolini's website back in 2015; a full five years before TSIASOS was released. I will come back to this point in a bit, but the timing here is significant.
There are six (well, seven) objects in the photo:
Top left - A moon. Can't say specifically which one, but it's smaller than the planet
Top middle - A sketch of Kira's spaceship at the end of TSIASOS.
Top right - The Wallfish.
Middle Left: A "glowing" star
Middle right: Nidus (See the terminator?)
Bottom Middle Left: Black orb flying FROM the ripple TO the star. VERY significant for WoE, but I will talk about that in another post.
Bottom: Ripple.
And lastly - The edges. They're all shaded in.
OK, cool, but why is the timing this photo was posted significant?
Chris mentions here that he had to do revisions.
Now, I can't find the exact quote but in one of his interviews Paolini mentioned that one of the big changes in those revisions is the introduction of corrupted/nightmares (at least into TSIASOS mainline story).
The initial ending of To Sleep was to have Kira flying to the Jelly homeworld. And remember - that photo is dated before those revisions took place. Which means each of the items in this picture were included in the original story - Kira's ship, the Wallfish, Nidus, Ripples, the Black mark. All were planned before the initial inclusion of the Maw/nightmares to drive the story.
So, that means in the initial book, Kira still gains the ability to craft her very high-tech spaceship by the end. But... Without the Maw/corrupted to drive her to change and grow, how does she gain the ability/knowledge? Hmm.
The most significant artifacts in this photo are at the bottom left.
The glowing star, the black orb, and the ripple. They're all related, tied together by the Black orb and it's trajectory - Coming FROM the ripple heading TO the star. In TSIASOS, Ripples are strangely omitted from the Appendices, and in-text, the Wranaui refuse to answer any questions about them.
So... what does it mean? What are Ripples and what can we glean from this picture?
Quite a bit, actually, if we piece together certain things from Chris. Let's dive in.
First - Ripples.
Ripples are the Wraunai description for these phenomenon. Chris has previously stated that a lot of their terminology is shaped by their growth as a species from water:

The Wranaui terminology makes more sense when you take into account that (a) they evolved in water, and (b) space time in the Fractalverse is actually fluidic in nature. (There are some serious hints/clues in the FTL paper at the back of To Sleep. :D)

They refer to The Great Beacons as "Whirlpools", which (per the tweet) in a fluidic spacetime context likely means they are Black Holes.
We can use the same logic to apply it to Ripples. What are Ripples in a spacetime context?
They are disruptions, specifically to the fabric of spacetime itself. But... what does that mean? And what does that imply?
It means Time Travel.
I know, I know. It's a huge leap to make. I've covered it more in-depth in this post, but I'll recap it quickly here:

Right now no matter what way you swing it, we have issues in terms of time.

Correct.

I'm also guessing we're dealing with the very real issue of "Paolini is making up new shit as he goes", and is finding ways to retroactively make things fit together.

Incorrect. (Or at least, mostly incorrect. :D)
There's a major piece to the puzzle that I haven't shared yet. The next two Fractalverse books will clarify.

He has also shown numerous posts on Twitter, Youtube, and Facebook that show he was thinking deeply about time travel, and trying to "solve" time travel paradoxes. This is especially significant because he was talking about it since as early as 2012, when he was writing the initial version of TSIASOS. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 just for a few examples.
Chris has hinted heavily in the past about some nature of the story that we (the reader) do not understand.
And he has hinted that there are major issues with "time" in the story.
So, time travel is the natural answer (along with all of the other meta pieces of evidence).
Now, given the secrecy around time travel as a concept and Ripples as a phenomenon, the clues suggest is that time-travel is related to the "ripples".
And if we fit that in with the context of the Wraunai perspective of fluidic spacetime.. a picture starts to emerge.
Ripples are a series of waves on the surface of water, typically caused by something entering the body of water.
So, if spacetime is fluidic, it would mean the ripples are waves or disruptions in spacetime, related to time travel
And, my guess, is that something "causes" the ripple. . Because something from Superluminal space "enters" or "exits" spacetime. Something traveling back in time.
So lets return back to the initial photo here, with the Black Orb heading for the glowing sun, coming out of the Ripple.
If time travel is a concept, and if the Ripples are related to time travel, it means that the Black Orb likely comes from another time.
But I think time travel is a bit more "fixed" than that; one can't time travel all willy-nilly. There needs to be some underlying mechanism or technology that enables the time travel.
That's what the Great Beacons are for. They are a fixed "point" that, effectively, acts as a save state for the universe.
Let's walk through the logic here.
The hole near The Great Beacon emits waves (ripples?) of sound that are an encoded Mandelbrot set.
But there's an issue here... The Beacons aren't functioning.
So, what is actually happening with the "Thuds"? Let's examine two passages from Fractal Noise:

Strange artifacts in the fractal fuzz; distortions of the pattern that shimmered like prismatic refractions. But they never appeared for longer than ten point six seconds. That unforgiving, unnyielding subdivision that rules his life, and it seemed, the rest of the universe itself" (Apotheosis, FN).

So, these "beings" are real, but they are being dispersed every 10.6 seconds from the "Thuds" - Which come from the hole, rather than the great beacon (as the great beacon is not active).

"The distortions were everywhere now, hovering about him like rainbow warpings of the spacetime fabric. They had an involuted appearance, as if reality was folding in on itself at different points, and he had an inexplicable feeling that they were real, and that they were watching him... and always had been. Only now the substance of existence had thinned enough for him to become aware of their presence" (Apotheosis, FN).

So... they exist around the universe, but previously he couldn't see them because reality (the luminal membrane) was not thin enough to see them.
But now it is, close to the hole, so he can see them. These are beings that live in Superluminal space - My theory; they're spirits from WoE.
So the sub and superluminal realms start to "merge", until they're broken up by the thuds emitted from the hole.
So the hole, not the beacon itself, prevents the realms from merging at the point around the hole.
But the beacon isn't active. So the hole is the one disrupting the merging. Which implies if the beacon WAS active, the opposite would be true - the point around the beacon WOULD merge.
Which would allow one to phsyically go into the superluminal realm. Which would enable one to time travel.
Whew. I'll take a pause here for a moment. I wish I had more time to really structure my thoughts and evidence here, but I'll have to make do.
There's a quote, I believe, that ties this all together, from TSIASOS:

The sky was a field of diamonds, and her body had limbs and senses unknown to her. She glided through the quiet dusk, and she was not alone; others moved with her. Others she knew. Others she cared for. They arrived at a black gate, and her companions stopped, and she mourned, for they would not meet again. Alone she continued through the gate, and through it came to a secret place (Exeunt I, TSIASOS).

Black Gate. It's a Great Beacon. A "fixed point" time travel.
There are issues with Time. There are unexplained "Ripples" in spacetime. There are points where the luminal membrane naturally thins, but are seemingly dispersed by the holes. It all seems to line up.
There's one more piece of evidence I want to go over, that speaks to the nature of time travel, and why the Old Ones needed time travel in the first place.
It comes down to the death of the universe. The universe is fated to die.
The Old Ones want to do whatever they can to avoid the fated death of the universe. So, near the "end of days", they created these devices to travel back to fixed points in time.
Their goal here was to change their actions, to foster and grow new species to find a way to escape the fated death of the universe. Which connects back to this unexplained picture.
The lightning bolts are the branching paths of time travel. Each time the Old Ones travel back in time, they create a new "branching" reality. The ripples are caused by Great Beacons (or potentially other methods of time travel).
The last piece I want to connect here is this. There is a podcast Chris does where he mentions this quote:

"we can understand why life does what it does, we need food, need warmth, need social, need to eat, need to avoid predators, leads to behavior we can understand... the only time it really gets weird is when the aliens upload all their brains to computers and their just machines and go off the deep end"

This is awfully specific, Chris. Upload all of their brains to computers and they're just machines and go off the deep end?
What was the Nest of Transference again..? Hmm.
The last few pieces here I'm just going to throw out there with zero basis for evidence.
Kira's plan to track down the seven pieces of the Maw must either involve:
1) Kira splitting herself into pieces to track them down
2) Kira time traveling to prevent/deal with the seven pieces
3) Kira repairing/recreating the Staff of Blue to authoritatively destroy the Maw fragments
Otherwise, it would take too much time to individually hunt down each piece before they grow to have MASSIVE armies that would steamroll the rest of the universe.
Alright, that's enough rambling from me. There's a lot more I wanted to cover and connect back to Eragon lore, but I have to cut it short. I'm curious to come back and read this down the line to see if I got any of these guesses correct.

As stated in the title. It's been over three years since I wrote anything, but recent crumbs of content for certain characters tempted me into writing a oneshot longer than any fic I've ever written before. I've forgotten how much fun it is, after so long being just a reader and commenter!
My particular take on this character is a bit niche, I think, and I've always been scouring the tag for new fic. So I finally put that "if you can't find it, write it yourself" adage to use and it was so fun.
And then I posted it and got such lovely comments <3 Half of them from guests, actually, which surprised me since it wasn't like that in the fandom I wrote for previously. I got a 400 word guest comment quoting little bits of my writing and providing fascinating commentary on the characters and I'm a little bit giddy right now.
It's not numerically a large amount of kudos or comments, but I get the feeling I dropped food into a tiny pond and all the few fish I've been swimming with this whole time are feasting. <3

Ever since I was a baby, I’ve loved cats. My first word in Spanish was actually “gato,” and whenever I’d see a gato I’d get so curious, enthralled by the cutest animals I’d ever seen. As I got older, my love for cats only grew. There was nothing that I wanted more than to have a pet cat, but my parents kept telling me I was too little and that we could get one when I was older.
On father’s day when I was nine years old, my family and I stopped by a garage sale and saw the most adorable, fluffy gray kitten in a bird cage with parrots surrounding him from the outside of the cage. As they relentlessly squawked at him, my dad asked the owners of the home if we could hold the kitten. My dad gently lifted him out of the cage, and his tiny body looked ridiculously funny with my 6’0 dad holding him. My dad lifted this curious little kitten up to me, and he started sniffing my face and licking my forehead affectionately. From that moment on, I knew he had to be my cat.
I begged and pleaded with my parents, and after much convincing, we took the little guy home for free (he was originally being sold for $10). That little kitten grew into a huge longhaired cat with a sassy attitude and a sense of adventure. We did everything together and he went everywhere with us—the beach, the forest, even a few national parks (we leash-trained him). Even though he wasn’t much of a cuddly cat, whenever one of us was upset or crying (mostly me) he would come up to us and comfort us. He was always there.
On one unlikely night last month while I was away at school, our cat ran under my bed, seemingly upset. He had been normal all day, and the weeks before then, jumping and playing around, so the sudden change was odd. He wouldn’t eat wet food, but ate a treat somewhat willingly that my dad gave to him in his hand. Later on, he made a yowl and my parents immediately rushed him to the ER. They found that he had a cancer in his liver and spleen that was extremely rare and had already metastasized. It would have been cruel to keep him alive at this point, so he was put to sleep in my mom’s arms.
Before, I didn’t understand why my parents waited so long to let me get a cat. Now I fully understand. The pain of losing my cat is genuinely the most heartbreaking thing I’ve ever felt in my entire life. He was only nine years old, and he was the best cat ever and the best cat ever doesn’t deserve to be in pain or die from cancer. I’m angry, sad, and devastated because I feel like I’ve been robbed and so has he. It is truly such a horrible feeling, and I don’t know how to act normal or be around people anymore when I’m carrying this weight on my chest. While it’s not their fault, because they haven’t experienced something like this, most people around me have trouble grasping how truly painful this is for me.
Thank you, mom and dad, for waiting until I was older so I didn’t have to shoulder the burden of this loss as a child. He really was the best cat ever, and I’ll miss him terribly forever.

Kinda long .I moved to a small Texas town in 2018 . I started volunteering at a local charity shop that takes donated items and sells them for a quarter ( seriously yall I got a new pair of vans with the tags still on a few months ago for a quarter!) Anyway , they take the money and buy food and plates, napkins ,bags ,etc to make meals and deliver them to local eldery and disabled folks. For a while the religious alliance that was over the program was telling us we needed more money and to raise prices and we refused. We had complaints to us at the store about the food program side . Found out that alot of the Monday and Thursday food deliveries were hard ,dried up leftovers from church dinners the previous evening . The guy that ran it kept telling us "it costs so much ... 8$ a plate to get this out" ...we did the math and they would never have been more than 4 or so per plate and it lacked quality and proper nutrition. Long story short we found out that they were not running things appropriately and took over the store and gave it back to the community. The store has continued to flourish and we see that funds were BADLY mishandled (There was alot of cronyism and such ) Our food costs are currently at 3-4 per plate (hot meals WITH fruits & vegetables, and that's with plastic ware napkins and to go boxes and such , so we KNOW that somebody was skimming but can't prove it , although the treasurer and president of the religious alliance board both got fired when we took the program and we told the rest of the alliance what we had found . All that being said . Since then it seems half the town is against us . We alienated so many people by doing this ? The store is still doing great , so good in fact that we were offered a full 6 lane bowling alley if we can just pay for the removal before the building gets torn down . We were quoted 6k so we wanted to crowd fund to get it . I was going to sell my building on main Street for this project at a huge loss to put it in just to get something for my kids and grandkids to do here , to leave a mark here . As soon as word started getting out about the plans the friends and family and church members of both fired board members are publicly downing our project calling us dumb and saying it will never work ... just dammit... feeling discouraged cause half this town is on their side ...it's an uphill battle here and I feel they are just putting stones in our pockets because their feelings are hurt cause them and their crooked pastor got called out. Thanks for the rant TLDR: took over corrupt pastors program and now his cronies hate us.

Being a FA has been my dream job since I was 11 yrs old. I really wanna know what are my odds of becoming one with my current work and educational experience. I'll be 21 at the end of this year and I think of applying for maybe 2025? It's probably too soon to think about it but I really want the chance to do this. Here's what I've accomplish and some goals I have to get where I want to be:
From the educational part, I took an aviation course for a year at a this technical/vocational school in which I was able to learn everything I needed to know for private pilot ground school + other college courses for aviation related degrees. I worked on old Cessna 172 engines and flight simulation labs. I attended Embry-Riddle for almost 2 semesters (Withdrawn) and I successfully passes ground school with an 83% on the FAA private pilot test. I was never able to try flight training since it is really expensive.
From my work experience, I have +2 years of customer service experience. Qne of my jobs was inside an airport which consisted of taking care of A LOT of customers and food handling, and one year as a Certified Spanish Medical Interpreter in which I traveled all over the place to different hospitals to help people communicate with their provider.
By the end of 2024, I want to get a First Aid Certificate and get into a online college program for a degree.
I absolutely LOVE aviation and the complexity of it. Everything about it makes me smile and I just want to be a part of it so badly again. Not being able to start flight training absolutely crushed me. I still am looking into getting a license with an instrument rating but probably not a comercial license, maybe I'll reconsider not sure.
I mainly thought of applying for Delta since it's the airline I've flown mostly with, and I had a professor who works there that I look up to a lot.
