Hello everyone,
I have a large list of book names, together with their respective authors. Each one of the book's information is split in two lines - the first line has the book name on it, while the name of its author is written on the second line. These two lines are subsequently separated from the next book by another single blank line.
I want to add a bullet only to the first line while also changing the text in the first line to bold type. Is there a simple way to create a style like this?
I am enclosing an image so you can have a better idea of what I aim to do. As you can see in the graphic, the books in the first column have the style I want to apply to all the other columns.

When watching stories about queers set before the invention of the horseless carriage; I prefer them to be unsubtle. Hence, Colette gets immeasurably more satisfying once its leads' decide to cancel monogamy and just start fucking everyone. Keira Knightly plays the young bisexual wife of Dominic West's publishing magnate: the man who inducts her into Parisian high society, cheats on her, and repeatedly steals credit for her work.
His is not a subtle character. West's talent is sufficient to stop it going fully vampire, but mostly through his insertion of deeply seeded inadequacy. The type is obvious immediately, rich city fella interested in the inexperienced country girl. Both characters have been aged up by about ten years, but we get what they're gesturing towards. At an early high society party, Knightly's Sidonie-Gabrielle Colette finds herself drawn more to the plight of a jewel encrusted tortoise than any of the other guests. In the ride home he, 'well, actually's' her about the fun of it — and why his unabashed horneyness towards another reveller is actually a good thing.
It isn't, obviously, but the film argues it's more because their relationship isn't at that point yet. After they decide to open it up the two get along quite amiably. Of course, society dictates that such a situation not be allowed to last in our media, yet director Wash Westmoreland does his best to implicate the garbage man's shit ass decisions as the root of the dysfunction. The wrinkle to being published by him is that he'll nab both copyright and credit — books hit the shelves adorned with the single (apposite) inscription: 'Willy'.
He jokes that his writers are slaves, labouring for the scraps he deigns to feed them. Later, he'll lock his wife in her study until she's produced pages sufficient for his satisfaction. Because she's of course the actually talented one of the pair. After he trashes her first manuscript out of hand, a moment of financial insolvency forces a desperate publication. Claudine à l'école is an immediate sensation and Sidonie-Gabrielle , privately proud of her proud of her success, integrates into society; now as Colette.
For a story of an escape, from the stifling institute of marriage, from a shitty man, the film gives Colette very little agency of her own. Even her rebellion is seemingly orchestrated by those around her. It is Willy himself who encourages her on her first affair with a woman, then him who ruins it by chasing desperately after the same woman. When she toys with the idea of provocatively taking to the stage, he's the one who pushes her on. We see time and again the productivity of their partnership, yet it comes at the cost of an incompletely shadowed lead.
Knightly is very charming here, but not much more. There's moments at which she realises some wrong has been done her and will walk stridently to confront the perpetrator. The film at those moments kicks into overdrive — heavy-strings horror on the soundtrack and close ups of her angry-face. The film is on her side, pointedly so, yet does not wish to summon her totality. We are invited to feel neither the depths of pain nor ecstasy of her life. She is determined to be made 'agreeable'.
Sigh. The film puts her in a suit at one point and her husband is outraged, a woman, in a suit? We get to have consequence free judgement on the man for his unwarranted critique of such a fresh look. This comes after Colette gets in with the Marquise de Belbeuf, a trans man (played, disappointingly as ever, by a cis woman). Yet he has his shit together better than anyone else around, he's out there living his best life while everyone else engages in their petty squabbles. I'm here for it.
But not here for the way that it diminishes his identity by making his attractiveness as a partner an extension of his relationship to the feminine. Like, when our lead is narrating a letter when she calls him 'a true gentle man'. Oh fuck off. We're supposed to be impressed by this, what? The dull wordplay, the condescension masquerading as respect? Nah. I enjoy seeing old timey queer pulp, but this ain't the good shit. Not when the text itself is being disrespectful, not when ignorant folks are having their wrong ass biases approved.
The film's sop to this is casting two trans actors in cisgender bit parts. It is not a progressive move when you're doing it to excuse how you've cast the third lead, and only cements the idea that — while we can be portrayed in media to be objects of cis curiosity or pity — those of us actually living are best kept invisible. It's all in the last third too, which leaves a rather sour taste in one's mouth. The rest of the joint is nothing but pure gloss, it shines well enough and is moderately charming. I think the two leads do good work.
It's not something that I can endorse.

"Y'aura jamais de 4ème album, Stup ça doit rester une trilogie..." King Ju, 2013
A croire que les adeptes du stup n'ont pas oublié le CROU et ses 894 membres, pour preuve le croufouding (dont toutes les critiques vont sûrement parler...) à atteint son objectif de 40'000€ en une heure, jusqu'à devenir le 3ème projet musical le mieux financé via internet du monde ! Les fans cherchaient partout des bouts de sons, bouclaient les extraits, cherchaient des moyens de trouver le Saint-Graal, le Stup Virus. Stupeflip est un groupe assez difficile à critiquer, étant donné qu'il joue beaucoup plus sur la subjectivité des fans que sur l'objectivité. Ce qui touchait dans le premier album de Stupeflip, c'était le côté "punk" et lo-fi. King Ju était énervé, il avait commencé sa grande vengeance contre le monde. Le second album de Stupeflip, Stup Religion, à été mal promotionné par BMG (leur label de l'époque, contre qui ils perdront un procès), ce qui renforça le côté underground de Stupeflip. Jusqu'ici, Stupeflip n'était pas pris au sérieux, comme un coup de maison de disque. Mais en 2011, King Ju revient avec la grosse patate pour secouer la musique de l'hexagone, avec The Hypnoflip Invasion, leur chef d'oeuvre. Alors qu'attendre, en 2017, de Stup Virus ? Un retour pour le fric ?
A croire que NON.
Stupeflip est de retour en grandes pompes, avec Stup Virus. Un album différent, ne jouant plus sur les personnages ou l'univers, mais réellement sur les instrus et les sonorités de la voix. Exit les régions, l'ère du stup, et bienvenue au hip-hop, et à Sandrine Cacheton. Sandrine Cacheton est le nouveau personnage principal de cet album, et c'est surtout la voix de Google Traduction. C'est bien marrant, mais cette voix est un peu trop connotée Google Traduction, donc un peu dur de s'imaginer que c'est un personnage de l'univers Stupeflip. Cadillac est pratiquement absent de l'album (mais quand il est là, c'est pour du lourd...), ce qui à fait peur aux fans au début. Maintenant, parlons de l'album. Stup Virus est un excellent album, pas un Hypnoflip Invasion 2, et encore moins sa continuité. On commence par une intro simple, Sandrine Cacheton se présente, jusqu'ici tout est normal.
Et arrive The Antidote. "Si tu te sens à bout si tu as pris des coups faut que t'écoute le Stupeflip Crou", voila ce que nous dit ce morceau. Et oui, Stupeflip s'adresse toujours aux mêmes gens, ce qui ont pris des coups, ce qui sont saoulés par la vie. Le morceau est malheureusement trop simple dans son refrain (malgré un message digne de Stupeflip), le sample est plutôt sympa (pas au niveau de celui de Stupeflip Vite), et les couplets sont assez sympas mais restent banals. On a peur. On a peur pour le reste de l'album.
Et arrive Creepy Slugs... "Le temps n'existe pas lapin...", nous dit une voix à l'envers. Retour des vrais gimmicks Stupeflip, avec en plus un esperanto du Stup au début ! Les couplets sont dingues, le refrain aussi, un très bon morceau. On espère. On espère que le reste sera au niveau.
Tient une interlude, Cosmocrou. Sandrine Cacheton nous présente un stage, rémunéré, pour appréhender l'univers Stup. Mouais, pas très utile comme interlude. On pense. On pense qu'ils se sont forcés à faire des interludes.
Maintenant place à la Seule Alternative, une instru sympa, un King Ju au top de la forme. "J'suis King Ju l'taré, j'déboule furieux t'étais pas préparé.". Stupeflip se présente comme la seule alternative, à la musique en France, mais aussi à la vie. Ce morceau contient deux superbe couplets, le premier est celui de King Ju déboulant dans une fête, un peu à la "Petite curiositée" (inédit de 2005, sur le myspace de Stupeflip). "Mais qui dans le CROU, et qui ne l'est pas ?", ce couplet enchaîne des références (stupermarché, flip club...) et des questions amusantes.
Et puis survient The Solution, avec une instru lourde, un King Ju jouant beaucoup sur la voix (imitant même un accent anglais, c'est dire). Ce morceau va en dérouter beaucoup, mais d'autres vont bien accrochés. Je suis du deuxième camp.
On passe à Knight of Chaos, reprise studio d'Impro Stup (improvisation durant leur dernière tournée, THI live). Le morceau commence calmement, jusqu'à l'arrivée de guitare lourde (soyez attentifs, on ne rentendra pas beaucoup de guitares par la suite), et un scratch d'un sample de la Menuiserie. Sympa.
Attention, Stup Virus, enfilez vos protections, nous annonce Sandrine. Et oui, on assiste à un très bon morceau, parmis les meilleurs de l'album. King Ju toujours au top, je crois qu'on à tous attrapé le Stup Virus en l'écoutant. Mais il manque quelque chose à cet album...
Pop-Hip ? On croyais tous qu'il était mort. Mais il est de retour, et nous chante en direct du Stup Enfer, il ne chantait pas assez pop. Il doit baisser de quelques octaves, et survient Lonely Loverz (oui, c'est une traduction d'Amoureux Solitaire). Pop-Hip, ici, est torturé, et devient sombre. Il ne comprend pas l'amour, qu'il chantait déjà dans Gaëlle et dans d'autres morceaux pourtant. C'est sûrement un des meilleurs morceaux de Pop-Hip.
Hé, t'écoutes quoi, là ? C'est Understup ? Hé oui, voila un des meilleurs morceaux. Le sample est parfait (encore meilleur que celui de Stupeflip Vite), et le message est clair : va falloir vous réveiller. Un des couplets est repris de l'inédit "Le Fléau", mais c'est pas dérangeant. Colette, la nièce de King Ju, n'est pas ici pour rien, et apporte une touche enfantine.
Un bruit étrange, le début de Stalactites. "Ca fais marrer ouais j'en rigole, tous ces oiseaux qui s'envole, pas de bol, pov gogol...". Une phrase absurde répétée, mais aussi un couplet qui abuse sur le vocoder, mais c'est rigolo. Ce morceau est un peu difficile à appréhender, mais au bout de quelques écoutes, on arrive à l'apprécier.
"T'a trop fait le fou-fou, tu t'es fais virer du CROU...", du recyclage complet, d'un inédit déjà partagé. Le mini-morceau (45 secondes), est sympa, mais sans plus.
Puis on entend des accords de guitare, et Cadillac, même pas annoncé en featuring. On assiste ici au meilleur morceau de l'album, et même si vous n'avez pas aimé l'album, vous ne pouvez pas ne pas aimer 1993. On comprend ici la mythologie de Stupeflip, la guitare du gars qui s'était suicidée avec l'autocollant "The Stupefiants", la vieille dame qu'aimait pas beaucoup les basses, une partie du Mystère au Chocolat et Casimir. Un morceau très nostalgique, qui pose les bases, les vrais.
L'interlude suivante, c'est Grosse Tête. Cette interlude est gratuite (enfin 1,29€ sur Itunes quand même), inutile et se moque sans aucune raison de Jean-Luc Lem/ et de sa grosse tête. Manque d'inspiration ou envie de provoquer ?
Débarque Crou Anthem. Un morceau plutôt old-school, avec un sample de violon rappelant IAM, deux ou trois références à l'univers Stupeflip et à sa mythologie, et un peu d'esperanto du Stup. Sympa.
Allez, encore une interlude instrumentale. Forcefield, un lexique lié à l'informatique, et la voix de Sandrine Cacheton. Pas trop mal, mais un peu énervant.
Le Trou Noir, avec MC Salo. L'instru la plus originale de Stup. Un texte abstrait et magnifique, avec quelques métaphores (le Stup Concept, l'auto-bug, les fameuses cages en métals...). Un mélange entre le lyrisme de Michel Houellebecq, la synthwave de Carpenter Brut et l'univers Stupeflip. "Veuillez opérer quelques instant, un patient va vous répondre.", cette phrase prononcée par MC Salo est assez drôle, retournant la logique.
Oh non, déjà le dernier morceau... Et pas des moindres. King Ju s'adresse à Stupeflip, lui disant au revoir, une forme d'adieu. Au revoir Stupeflip... On sent que King Ju en a marre et qu'il a envie que ce soit le dernier album. Un morceau très émouvant.
Deux ghosts tracks accompagnent cet album. La première est Tales from the Crou, avec un couplet d'un Reverb Man (avec une voix différente de d'habitude) et de Cadillac. Ce morceau est un peu trap, King Ju à avouer aimer ce mouvement.
Il enchaîne directement avec Fan 2 Stup, une ballade narrant comment TOI, auditeur, tu as découvert Stup. Par un pote... T'a trop écouté les CD, c'est devenu comme de la drogue. Tu pleure sur Facebook pour des nouveaux morceaux. Hé oui.
Que dire, au final, de cette 4ème ère ? Cette 4ème ère ne compte pas dans la trilogie sacrée de Stupeflip, Stup Religion et The Hypnoflip Invasion. Cette 4ème ère est un complément, pour mieux la comprendre (notamment par 1993). King Ju nous indique dans Fan 2 Stup que l'ère du Stup, c'est que de la flûte.
Mais une flûte de compétition, genre flûte traversière.
