Bpo or Government agency?
I am (24M) a licensed professional and I am currently working at a bpo company (1 month trainee). After I graduated college, nag trabaho ako kaagad as an office secretary sa isang private company for 11 months. Nag resign ako para makapag review and take board exams last year. Fortunately, naka pasa kahit late na compared sa mga batchmates ko. After makapasa, nag apply2 kaagad ako kasi financially drained na kme. So ayun, after ilang months naka pasok ako sa bpo. I really like the office setting and of course the salary and benefits.
Fast forward kanina lng, na invite ako for interview sa isang government agency na related talaga sa profession ko. Eh nirefer lng ako at d ko alam ang full job details. Ang alam ko lang is “research technician” ito and project based. After ko mag tanong kung ano ang job description, sabi ng interviewer more on manual labor and overtime without pay daw. Kinumpare pa nila na baka d ako sanay sa laborious tasks kasi previous and current job settings ko is nasa office lng ako.
For further context tinanong pa nila if how much ba salary ko sa current bpo job ko, sabi ko 18k after deductions. D nila dinisclouse ang salary grade kasi d naman ako nag tanong. Pero sabi2 ng mga kaibigan ko, if below 20k, d ko na tatanggapin.
So yeah. i badly need your advice if i should accept the offer if ever maka pasa ako or wag na?

Hello, I’m currently a marriage and family therapist student at NCU. I have around 3 more courses and I’m done; afterwards I’m kind considering doing a postgrad with Neuropsychology in pediatric but I wasn’t sure if to do a certification or just pursue my dream for PsyD in clinical psychology. The reason I say this is because the certification is 1 year and virtual and the PsyD is 6 years and in person with a lot more requirements. Honestly I’m kinda stuck in career path I want to have clients but a small load and also teach college level students. Any recommendations?

I posted a few weeks back about how the party triggered the Gralhund raid and then just left. Now Jarlaxle has the stone, and they don't even know they are also supposed to get the eyes as well, as that was supposed to be revealed from the blinded stone. Here's the context to my conundrum. TL;DR at the bottom.
Campaign started pretty normal with Volo asking them to save Renear, and the party got introduced to the conflict between the Zhentarim and Xanathars Guild. I really played up the gang war and the daylight violence and they have avoided trying to get involved despite two characters having some backstory motivation. Party knows the war is over the Stone of Golorr, and that its the key to this secret vault of coins everyone is chasing.
They go off on and do side quests and I introduce the Bregan D'Aerthe into the plot. Party thinks these drow are the biggest problem but B.D had no knowledge of the stone of golorr yet. Next the Cassalanters become their patrons and straight up tell them they need to find the stone. Party totally trusts the Cassalanters, track down the Nimblewright to having been sold by Zord.
They are invited to his ship, and tell him fucking everything. In exchange he gives them the names of the people who bought that Nimblewright, then Zord throws a rager party, they all trust Zord.
Due to party attacking the B.D. outpost in broad daylight while surveying Gralhund Villa, raid starts early. Zhents storm the gates as B.D goes on the roofs. Party sees the chaos and griffon riders in the distance and just leaves. They don't know who has the stone, or that there are 3 eyes they also need. They don't know who the drow are and believe Bregan D'Aerthe is the name of the leader, they beat that out of a captive. They don't know how to approach the Zhentarim or Xanathar situation.
They decided for now they are going into Undermountain at level 4, hoping there's more leads when they come back, but I can't think of how I could give them any more without railroading them or just giving away the answers. Best I can think of is the Cassalanters give them some tip, but I had them hire the party in order to bring them more information. Jarlaxle at this point is just showing up at their door in disguises and they buy all of it. They have avoided enough heat to where I don't think the Zhentarim or Xanathars will go after the party yet. I am just completely out of ideas to nudge them in the right direction. Best idea I have right now is they get down to Skullport and they get involved with the Xanathars Guild somehow.
TL;DR: Party has fallen for classic blunders and made big mistakes. They are oblvious to some clues and misdirected by others because they don't know some key NPCs are lying to them. I need more ideas to get them to figure out where the Stone and it's eyes are.

My fatigue has been next level. I’m not really capable of naps and I prioritise nighttime sleep and generally get 8 hours. I may be semi okay for a few hours in the morning but then I crash and I can barely function. Problem is I work ft and I need to be mentally present.
I’d hoped it would lessen going into the 15th week but i’m 15w2d and it’s just as bad. Yesterday I passed out in the shower because I was so weak and tired. I’ve had blood tests taken at the obgyn and they’re fine.
Was/is anyone else still THIS tired? Is there hope it’ll get better? I’m still somewhat nauseous every single day as well.

This series, Murder in Mahim, is based on and adapted from a book by Jerry Pinto with the same name. It was shortlisted for the Crossword Book Award for fiction in 2017. This series follows journalist Peter's investigation of a murder in the bustling city of Mumbai and the subsequent unraveling of dark secrets hidden within its crowded streets. When Sunil, his own son, is named as a suspect in the case, things get more serious. As he digs deeper into the case, he discovers that the city he thought he knew so well is full of surprises and dangers hidden in every corner.
The strongest point of the series would be its leading cast and its varied characters. Be it the highly regarded Vijay Raaz, Ashustoh Rana, and especially Ashitosh Gaikwad as his character Name UNIT, what a fantastic performance he has given. His voice modulation and facial expressions reminded me of Nawazuddin Siddiqui. When he came on the screen, I was extra attentive; he is my favorite character, and on the other hand, the story and the subplots between Firduas Rabbani and her partner were cliched but somewhat interesting too; the dialogues between Ashutosh Rana and his son Sunil Ferenandez regarding the topic of LGBTQ were very nicely written. I wish those scenes had been explored more deeply to add more depth to other characters as well.
What could've been better? Definitely, the story development and its writing. I think they wanted to create some deep emotional drama, but sadly, instead, it turned out to be a slow and sometimes uninteresting drama with unnecessary distractions and low effort cliffhangers. For example, pranks are used as cliffhangers and unnecessary distractions just to confuse and drag the story further, and on the other side, the supporting cast's characterization was not the problem, but their performance was a big letdown, which in turn kept me disconnected from multiple key scenes. As far as the background music is concerned, even that did not have much of an impact. I understand that the main aspect of this series is mostly to focus on crime drama with a message to convey, and I think that's the reason why the cinematography was just so bland. If you look at Kohrra, a similar style and genre series, it had some exceptionally well-done cinematography, which sometimes took the mood of the scenes to the next level.
Can you binge-watch this series?
There is a long wait before things start to get interesting. For instance, I thought things were finally getting serious in the fourth episode, but the next episode itself falls flat again. It's not until the last few episodes that things start to get interesting, but as it is a slow burner, even if you skip a few of the scenes, watch it for the quality performances by Vijay Raaz, Ashustoh Rana, Shivani Raghuvamshi, and especially the phenomenally talented Ashitosh Gaikwad. I really wish him good luck and look forward to seeing him in more movies and series very soon.

This week's recommendation is Kohrra. This Indian TV series, which is set in Punjab, follows the story of two police officers, Balbir Singh and Amarpal Garundi, who are tasked with investigating the murder of an NRI bridegroom, Paul Dhillon. The investigation quickly uncovers a web of deceit, secrets, and family drama. Paul's family and friends all have their own motives for wanting him dead, and the officers must sift through the lies and half-truths to get to the truth. This is one of those slow-burners, along with the thrilling story where the characters grow on you and morally make you think about and analyze the society we live in, which makes this thriller series a must watch.

Good evening y'all (it's 11 pm EST)
I'm currently a college student pursuing an IT degree and I was speaking with my father in law about an idea for a writing skills development program. The basis of the program/website is to teach students from Elementary school to the highschool and collegiate level on how to write essays. He posits that his students he has worked with do not have a good grasp on how to format their essays and papers, which then falls short in their future academic courses and he wants to make a program that will help them step by step.
My general layout right now is that it will be split into different levels of writing. From Levels 1 through 5: Elementary, Middle School, High School, College Prep, and Collegiate level writing skills. Within each level, I'll have writing tips and exercises to help the students learn the proper way to write their essays, with the Five Paragraph Essay as the format they will be learning.
Level 1: Sentence Structure, Formatting, and Composition. This includes things like spelling, capitalization, punctuation, etc.
Level 2: Adding in proper grammar, sentence continuation, paragraph structure, readability and comprehension, editing skills (rereading to make sure it is grammatically correct, has proper punctuation, sounds academically thought out, etc). We'll introduce how to write and connect multiple paragraphs as well as intro, body, and conclusion.
Level 3: Here we'll reinforce sentence structure for Intro, body, and conclusion paragraphs as well as citation and source material research. We'll start on how to properly write a Five paragraph essay with the hourglass/pyramid format (Broad introduction that gets more specific when it gets to the thesis sentence, body paragraphs with point evidence and example sentences, and then specific reintroduction of main points to a broad conclusion of the thesis). [I may have this in the Middle school Level 2 section as this is something I learned in middle school] We will also introduce different types of essays such as Argumentative, Systhesis, Compare and Contrast, Narrative, Persuasive, etc.
Level 4: In this level we will introduce the importance of rough draft, revise and polish, editing and formatting, and college entrance essays and college application questions. This section will mostly be open to Junior (11th) and Senior (12th) grade students who are preparing for their academic life outside of Highschool. We will also be introducing how to write cover letters, resumes, and exploring the other side of life outside of High school.
Level 5: Collegiate level writing will focus on precision writing, using the fewest words necessary to accurately convey an idea. Objectivity, using accurate, clear and relevant information. Logical Structure, using precise word choice and structure. Researching, Formatting, time management, and consistence and conciseness. We will also go back to resume and cover letter writing for those who are looking for a career after a degree. We will be adding a section to help students with term paper writing as well as advancement (Masters and Doctorate level) writing.
I wanted to reach out to former, current, and aspiring English Teachers to ask for feedback on this idea. Is this something that you would use in your class as a teaching tool for your students? What can be done for this to be implemented in your classes if this website/program gets published? What things should be added, removed, improved, or changed in the current idea to make it go alongside the current English course curriculum in your school district? What else should be included to facilitate user interaction with this website?
Please give me as much feedback as you can think of, whether that is directly on this post or in a direct message. My hope and goal is to be able to develop the future generation and to move away from using AI as a writing tool because it takes away the practical skills that is severely lacking in some, if not most, of the students today.

I posted about this awhile back and did not get much response but I am gaslighting myself and need people who have gone through this or similar to help me be objective.
I will Try to keep this brief but it's a lot.
-long history of stricturing Crohn's of terminal ileum diagnosed in 2006. First resection Sept 2018, Last resection in April 2022. Surgeon told me he found Crohn's high up in small bowel, could not remove safely, hoped new biologic (Stelara) would take care of it.
-6 month delay in starting Stelara due to GI F up (forgot to send preauthorization)
-July 2022 began having severe upper gastric pain (under ribs and belly button) after even the smallest amount of food, followed by severe nausea and often vomiting. Within half hour multiple liquid BM's undigested food and insane amount of fluid. Began to eat less and less, moved to soft diet, and finally to complete liquids in August 2023
-July 2023-Oct 2023- Weight loss of 20 lbs over 3 month period. Many ER visits needed for rehydration and IV anti emetics and pain meds as could not keep down any oral meds. GI did colonoscopy but only found microscopic Crohn's in anastomosis site (he only took 2 biopsies from that area and nowhere else). CT's done in hospital showed thickening of wall of ascending colon, and collapsed bowel, free fluid in peritoneum. GI dismissed as "not reliable". Fecal Cal slightly elevated. Constant low grade anemia. After 4th ER visit in Oct 2023 they did a high res Ultrasound and I was admitted by surgery department. However, as I was urgent but not emergent, there were no beds available. Was given choice of staying in ER and receiving IV steroids, or going home and following up with GI. Chose home and was given Entocort. Entocort slowed down bowel from 30-50 bm's a day to ten. Did not help pain, nausea, vomiting, lack of ability to eat. After several desperate emails where I begged for help, said I wanted to die-GI ordered urgent MRI, would not change meds or give prednisone without "proof".
-November 2023-Began to experience fatigue like never before. Could hardly keep eyes open. This would be followed by severe upper gastric pain, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea that went on for days, followed by constipation for 1-2 days and severe bloating, only on the left side of belly which would be rock hard and hot to the touch. Then the diarrhea cycle woud begin again. Always pure liquid, sometimes black, always tons of mucous.
-Went to Mexico to visit my parents for the holidays where I usually feel better but still could not eat. Injecting myself with IM Gravol (anti emetic) just to keep fluids down. I lived off of chicken broth with rice. Saw GI in private hospital. Ordered full workup. Blood found in stool. 3 D CT ordered (could not find a vein for IV after 5 nurses, two doctors, and a radiologist with a vein finder so only had oral contrast) showed inflammation in small bowel, thickening of the ascending colon wall 11 mm, and inflammation of ileum. He wanted to send me to special IBD hospital in Mexico City for MRI but it would have cost 2500$ so I decided to wait till I got home to Canada where it would be free. Treated me with antibiotics for IBS (only available in Mexico and Germany) Zero improvement. I lived off of electrolyte drinks.
-Jan 29th 2024 returned to hospital because I could not keep any oral meds in (pills would be in toilet) also pain was 9/10, high fever, vomiting. Admitted again, but no beds. Left AMA with another prescription for Entocort.
-Feb 12 2024- High fever followed by two days of 40 plus liquid BM's, some of them bloody, all of them black. Husband insisted back to ER where I was admitted immediately. Cortisol levels 11 (close to adrenal failure) very low potassium. Doc said if we'd waited I likely would have died from heart event. Spent 8 + weeks in hospital having every kind of test imaginable. NOTHING showed on MRI, inflammation on CT, lower scope clear, upper endoscopy showed inflammation in esophagus, stomach, and duodenum. Negative for H Pylori, negative for celiac. Started on 150 mg of hydrocortisone for low cortisol to rescue my organs. MRI of brain showed small tumour on pituitary. Endocrinologist did ACTH test and was unhappy, kept me on 40 mg of hydrocortisone IV. PICC line insertion went awry when they Discovered I had complete stenosis of veins and needed port catheter surgically implanted. Was on TPN for 5 weeks. Needed pain meds and anti emetics every 4 hours or severe vomiting and diarrhea would ensue. 30-50 liquid bm's continued (they made me write down everything I ingested and every time I had a BM. They tested me for everything. No blood, NO CDiff, no parasites, no infection. High fever 104.5 plus delirium and CRP shot up to 50. Continued Anemia, blood work all over the place, even with TPN I needed potassium and sodium boluses 3 times a day.
-Requested pill endoscopy, GI said no Crohn's, no need for test. Suggested psych evaluation for a fucking eating disorder. Endocrinologist disagreed, said starvation and whatever disease process was causing symptoms was causing my cortisol issue. Psych diagnosed medical PTSD and generalized anxiety disorder (no shit) but NO eating disorder. Fired GI and hired IBD specialist from another city. Re ran all tests, CT showed huge diverticulum on duodenum otherwise clear. Was going to be moved to a ward from a private room. Had a panic attack because I could not share a bathroom and was not about to use a commode. Asked to be discharged after nearly 9 weeks. They were so overcrowded and basically did not know what else to do to help me, so they let me go even though I was still on TPN and NPO. Got a 5 minute instruction on how to insert a butterfly catheter for pain meds, and let go.
-Present-3 weeks later, still on liquid diet, (Boost drinks, blended oatmeal, yoghurt and soup) still on sub q and IM meds. Finally got new IBD doc to order capsule endoscopy and is treating me for SIBO (never been tested) plus set me up with nutritionist and psychologist for support. MRI repeated- totally clear.
I FEEL CRAZY. This is the sickest I have ever felt. It's been almost a year since I chewed food. The pain under my ribs just to the left of my belly button is now constant, whether I eat or not, pain meds barely take the edge off. Sometimes it's so intense I can hardly breathe. I keep passing out on the toilet. I projectile vomit daily, even using Gravol and Pantoprozole, the bile acid is awful. I've been doing tons of research and have learned that GDC and Jejunal Crohn's are extremely hard to diagnose. I have every single symptom and fit the criteria. Does this sound familiar to anyone????

Hai :D I am 19 & this would be my first ever job… I was really excited to start working at Sam’s club. But after today, I felt so discouraged. Before, I was so happy to have a badge with my name and was eagerly waiting for my uninform shirt. Having a job felt like a dream comes true, to be apart of something bigger than myself and to help others.
I had orientation today! It started with my supervisor playing these in-general videos for orientation. It lasted about an hour, and then it was time to begin work in the cafe! The team lead is young like me, so I felt comfortable around her. She taught me how to cut the pizzas, the plate them, how to make the sundaes, etc. But I am still SO confused. She only taught me things once & then it was hands on. I have NEVER handled a cash register in my life so I was really confused when my co-worker wanted me to handle it for a second. The cafe is very fast paced, as you often have to switch roles with your co-workers. (being cashier, completing orders, refilling the food). It was pretty overwhelming not having a certain task/area to just STICK to. It truly felt like those food games called Cooking Fever or Papa’s Pizzeria loll.
A different co-worker reminded me that this work is “FAST PACED, to stop being nervous.”I guess I was slow at cutting :/ I just really hate when I do things wrong or too slow. One worker told me to cut & plate the pizza, the other told me throw it away bc it’s burnt… I feel like I couldn’t do anything right.
I didn’t even know I was supposed to have a whole lunch :/ my supervisor told me 15 minute break, but it was my meal time! I just went to the bathroom, drank my water bottle, & came back early. There was food in the break room too, but is it for me?? :(
By the end of my shift, my fingertips were burnt from the hot dog cover. (How do you open it without your bare hands 😭) And I got burnt from the pizza too… My face still feels warm & burnt from being next to the pizza oven & hot dogs all day. Even when I got home my breath smelled like pizza! smh lol
I am off tomorrow, my next day off is Monday the 20th :/ My first week, I’m scheduled for 41 HOURS but I’m part-time! How am I going to do this…. I feel so embarrassed not knowing how to do anything the right way NOR fast. I wish I wasn’t the only new person cuz I feel like a dog listening to everyone and can’t think for myself…
Anyway, I walked home… happy to have gotten through the day. I finally realized what it felt like to work and be in the same position as those who have served me and my family! I felt an immense amount of respect to those who make it look so easy. But, I couldn’t help but feel so sad after today. I felt sad for myself for starting a job that I probably wasn’t ready for. I felt mad at myself for not having that prior experience… I should’ve been more strict with my schedule because I start at such different times (9am, 7am, 11 am, 12pm, 2 pm!!) I’m trying to be positive, but the thing I hate most is disappointing people and it felt like I was doing that exact thing all day.

My thoughts are that every location around the world with the name York should be taken into consideration. My reasoning is to unfold the Nostradamus predictions. As in the city of York, Pennsylvania. The sky will burn at forty degrees right before. The prediction is currently in progress.

My thoughts area unit that a misestimation with the Myan Calander predicted the year of 2012 misinterpreted. maybe the year 2021 is the particular year the predictions begin. 2012 - 2021. Possible chapter-ending proceeding into a new beginning.
The focus now is on protecting the planet and keeping an eye on the earth's changes. Preparing for those perhaps challenging moments in time.

i just found this sub and i genuinely didn’t realize how like low my vitamin d was before my doctor said this to me. i was at the endocrinologist for some other health issues my bloodwork i had done with my PCP had found (the same bloodwork that revealed my vitamin d was at a 3.9) and when she was looking it over she turned to me and seemed genuinely so shocked and said “your vitamin d is VERY low. like very low.” and i said “yeah haha i’m taking 50000 IU once a week for it for 24 weeks” (i laugh when idk what to say😭) and she then looked at me and said in her over ten years of practicing as an endocrinologist she has never seen a vitamin d level as low as mine. she’s seen 10, she’s seen 11, but never a 3.9. i didn’t realize my vitamin d was that low because when i told other ppl in my life when i got the bloodwork back that my vitamin d was really low they said “we all get like that after winter!”
i guess this is a long (annoying) way to ask if it is actually that low? nobody in my family has had a vitamin d deficiency before so is it uncommon for it to reach 3.9? i go for bloodwork again tomorrow to check on how it’s rising since i’ve been taking it for 6 weeks. so ig we shall see.

TLDR: I’m in so much pain, please share your experiences?
Hi all!
I had excision surgery for stage 4 endo on 4/11. I started my period a few days later, but didn’t have much pain
I started my first ‘official’ period after excision on 5/8 and it’s been the most painful experience of my life. The pelvic pain is significant and is radiating down my left hip and thigh. The pain has only increased through the last five days, but my flow is extremely light
My question for the group is, is this normal? Should I go to the ER?! My usual treatments of ibuprofen, heat, exercise and long showers aren’t even touching the pain. Additionally, I tried one of my pain pills left from surgery last night and still got no relief
No one at my doctor’s office has been responsive to my questions, but I’m scared, super tired and in more pain than I’ve felt before. I’d appreciate any lived experience, perspective or even pain relief suggestions. Thank you in advance 🌸💗
ETA: I’ve experienced chronic pain with endo and have a high pain tolerance. This is above and beyond anything I’ve felt
