I want to prefix this by saying this is a system thats gonna take the the community months atleast to decipher. it could just be a mnatter of the pawn requiring more playtime and experience. I could have missed or misunderstood things along with the articles ive read. There could be actual bugs. Etc.. etc.. this is just based on anecdotal experiences of mine and those ive read about and watched. I encourage you to add your own in the comments.
So the basics is that you have the 4 inclinations chosen at character creation and changeable with a consumable. These never change as far as i cna test and from what ive read, from gameplay, unlike the first game.
It's not very clear what these inclinatyions really do.
Kindhearted: " Compassionate, devoted, and dutiful. The most obedient sort of pawn. Favors a balanced approach with an emphasis on support. Quick to aid allies in need "
In practice these seems to mean they use buff spells and co-op actions more (like taunting, holding enemies down). They will also pick up downed pawns and try to bring them to you.
This is not a good behaviour set. you only really want buffs when they are actually needed, it's ussually better for the pawn to help out with damage and team tactics, rather than resetting your buff duration constantly. Also the pawn recovery behaviour is almost always a hinderance. You cant ressurect the pawn until the carrying pawn finishes putting them back down. While the pawn is carrying the remaining pawn is essentially having to solo the encounter while your trying to res and this idiot is moving the body for no reason.
Calm: “Rational, shrewd, and strategizing. A pawn characterized by caution. Favors defense and evasion, employing clever tactics to survive at all costs.”
Annoyingly these pawns have the best combat behaviours. Focusing on weak spots and co-operative moves, as well as being pretty effective with dodges, parries and ripostes. But you really really wouldn't want to use them until we know more about how they work. Why? Because they discard items at random and im 90% sure ive seen one discard some armor i told them to carry for me. Their isn't a single useless item in the entire game, so im not even sure what the devs intention was with this one. Thats my observations, theres no way to know what the indepth rules are for this behaviour without more testing or modders reverse engineering the game.
Simple: “Curious, earnest, and adventurous. A pawn with their heart on their sleeve. Enjoys exploring and gathering items. and is always up for a challenge.”
Probably the best inclination. Unlike the first games pioneers, these guys will actually loot out of combat and they will even mark points of interest on your minimap, like chests. Though what they consider to be points of interest includes ladders that go nowhere or that youve already explored and doesn't include quest objectives, routes etc..
They will generally act pretty intelligently in combat, climbing foes, seeking weak spots, using defensive skills and buffs as needed. Probably not as effective as calm pawns but i havn't noticed a signficant difference in my limited playtime. I think ive noticed them be worse at managing stamina and dodging large AOEs, but i cant be sure yet and that might be more realated to their skill and augment setup.
Straightforward: “Candid, flippant, and impulsive. A pawn unbound by precepts. Enjoys the thrill of combat, tackling fierce foes head-on with daring assaults.”
These are probably best if you want good combat behaviour, but you don't want them to go so far away from you and don't want them to loot stuff. They seem similar to simple pawns in battle, but ive notice they will keep charging their attacks and finiosh combos while being hit, while simple pawns often stop what they are doing immedately to try and avoid danger, often wasting their charge time. Mele pawns will almost always try to climb if the monster has weak spots, though they rarley actually make it to the weak spot. This might be due to the seperate tactical learning system, but i suspect thats been removed.
The tactical learning system
In DS1 pawns would learn to exploit weaknesses the more they defeated a specific foe, gaining bestiary knowledge. Often requirements for progressing was actually witnessing these tactics a number of times, alongside killing that enbemy X times.
I was hoping it would be dynamic in this game. where they just learn the tactic after witnessing it. But it seems to have been dumbed down and gutted to the enw badge system, where they just know no tactics until they earn the badge, whering they presumably know all tactics. Now i hear them chatter about tactics and syaing theyve learned soemthing new or their arisen has never doen that, but i never see them actually employ these tactics.
Theirs also specializations which grant a very specific behaviour or ability.
The only one ive found so far is Chirurgeon which suppossedly lets your pawn use consumables on allies.I don't know if it's bugged or the description is misleading, but the only time ive seen it happen is when my pawn used a potion to save me when i was on fire. Ive given pawns with and without this ability stamina and healing potions, but they never seem to use them, so that might be bugged rather than this skill. It's also possible this skill only applies to status curatives and not buff or restoration items.
EDIT: With simple inclination my pawn actually started prioritzing using consumable heals on me, rather than using his heal spell. Previously he was straightforward. I did still see him use the spell in combat occassionally, but ussually he would just use consumables. Might have been because he couldn't reach me that he used the spell instead?
Overall im pretty dissapointed that the system seems to have lost all complexity, dynamicism and nuance in favor of i assume trying to give players more direct control. As side not it's only dissapointing you cant give constructive feedback on pawns like you could in the first game. you can only give them 1 of 2 emoticons and a item.

I know this sounds crazy, but hear me out. LEMMiNO clearly already has experience with scavenger hunts as shown proof with the cicada 3310 video.
Also, the patreon members. You might have noticed that patreon memebers who post here often get their posts removed because of showing too much content or something like that. But, what if it is actually because the patreon members are helping LEMMiNO create the scavenger hunt! Maybe their posts are getting removed because they are giving away the answers to the hunt!
However, so far all I have given is speculation. No concrete evidence that points to the possibility of the video already existing. However, this next find is absolutely shocking.
If you look at LEMMiNO’s currently unlisted Mandela effect video, the title is a string of letters and numbers that decodes to “this video never existed” in base 64. However, I think this is simply meant to mislead us, and so I went down a different path. After google translating it a ton, I eventually got Dehpachi 2 ralbi zalchille laaik. At this point I was stumped, as I was unsure as to what this was. Perhaps it was gibberish, or maybe danish. However, after giving it some thought, I decided to test one last thing. I shoved this back into a base-64 decoder and got iibڶn,ڕbWi. If you look between the n and the b in this mess of characters, it shows something amazing; a winking face.
At this point, a great number of you are likely wondering why a winking face is shocking, or even relevant, but to those people I say have you ever seen LEMMiNO winking? That’s right, LEMMiNO has NEVER winked in his life. This means that LEMMiNO was saving winking for a grand moment, such as a scavenger hunt. This little emoticon (I think that’s what they’re called? I’m not sure) is UNDENIABLE proof that LEMMiNO has indeed manufactured an elaborate scavenger hunt, and by simply waiting around we are further delaying our opportunity to watch the amazing video LEMMiNO has in store for us.

- Your ship can not stop moving; so you must turn it left and right and use your boost/brake to keep from crashing into an ever increasing amount of enemies.
- Your ship is always shooting, so make sure to pick up more ammo and the wide variety of awesome power ups and pick ups to help you survive longer.

Simply pressing the orbt button allows your planet to move away from the black hole, not pressing the button forces your planet to be sucked towards the black hole.

 | Is anyone who's playing in the season-long Best Ball Tourneys finding that the prize payouts as misleading and confusing? submitted by SnooCats9339 to underdogfantasy [link] [comments] This was my first season using Underdog, and I did about 50 best ball teams. Six advanced to Rd 2. In the Best Ball Mania contest, for example, if you finished in the top 2 of your 14-week Rd 1 league, you won $35 and advanced to Rd 2. My 6 advancing teams across all their best ball leagues were paid out a collective $137 after the 1st round was complete. In Rd 2, only the top team out of a 10-tm league would advance to Round 3. The Rd 2 league showed a prize payout ranging from $35 to $75, depending on where you finished. With the Rd 1 money already deposited into my account, after Rd 2 ended it showed my 6 Rd 2 teams as "winning" $196. Now I thought this was an additional prize, as did others who I know who played and advanced, because in the standings for each league, it showed the prize money for that round next to your team. For example, it showed my 2 BBM teams that did not advance as "winning" $40 apiece in Rd 2. Yet when Rd 2 ended, to my surprise, instead of $40 deposited for each of those teams, it was just $5 (apparently the $40 minus the $35 won in Rd 1). Since the Rd 1 money was already "won" and "deposited," the site should have been much clearer in saying for Rd 2, 1st place was worth $40, 2nd-6th worth $5, and 7th-10th worth $0. Now I have one BBM team that advanced to Rd 3, shown below. It shows I am winning $0, and NOT the already paid out $75, making it even less clear. The prize table for the 16-tm Rd 3 league shows a range of $75 to $1,000. Since this team was already paid out $75, does this mean if I finish 13-16, my prize is $0? If so, wouldn't it be clearer if they simply deducted the $75 all teams that advanced to Rd 3 won already, and showed a prize table ranging from $0 for 13-16 to $925 for 1st? But since my team is showing $0 won, is the prize breakdown the *actual* prizes won for Rd 3? Beats me. I sent them a message asking them to clarify and only got back a note from a rep saying "Thanks for the feedback, we appreciate you!" without any clarification whatsoever. Can any Underdog season-long best ball vets tell me what to expect, since their CS won't? - [COMING_UP] A quick look at the week ahead... In the 30th season of the modern Philippine Stock Exchange, this week (Week 39) is definitely going to feel like one of those filler episodes. The only thing on my calendar is on Wednesday when a bunch of Bank of Commerce [BNCOM 9.11 unch] stock, owned by BNCOM’s parent, San Miguel [SMC 97.65 unch], comes out of mandatory lock-up. There’s a low chance of something interesting happening with that.
- MB: Stay safe! It’s really a fitting #WalangPasok kind of day. There’s nothing happening, so you don’t have to feel like you’re missing out on too much market-based fun while you’re stuck at home parenting kids who are also walang pasok.
- [NEWS] Dito Telecommunity passes its 3rd technical audit... According to DITO [DITO 3.21 ▼5.31%] [link], the telco passed its 3rd technical audit while also satisfying the minimum coverage threshold for continuance under its congressional franchise. This year, DITO needed to have “covered” at least 70% of the population, at speeds averaging at least 55 mbps. DITO covered 72% of the population, and provided a minimum average speed of 71 mbps. DITO said that it received notice of its “pass” from the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC).
- MB: It feels a little rich to refer to its 72% coverage in such breathless terms, as though it didn’t just squeak past a coverage number that is a bare minimum. Still, a pass is a pass, and DITO can now turn its executive cycles to trying to figure out how to deal with its ballooning US Dollar-denominated debt, which looks like it will only become more of a problem for the next couple of quarters.
- [UPDATE] Rep. Joey Salceda thinks the peso could reach ₱68/$1... Citing measures the U.S. Federal Reserve took in its fight against inflation 40 years ago, House Ways and Means Chairman, Joey Salceda [link], said that there is nothing stopping the peso from free falling to ₱65-₱68 per U.S. Dollar “in the near term”, and that both the President and the BSP are helpless to do anything about it. Mr. Salceda notes that the US Fed raised interest rates by 6500 basis points in the 80s to combat inflation, and that (so far) the Fed has only raised rates 2250 basis points, implying the Fed might raise by another 4250 basis points.
- MB: To take this at face value, you need to accept so many of Mr. Salceda’s unspoken assumptions. That the inputs are the same (they’re not; annual inflation is nothing near what it was in the early 80s and there isn’t an unemployment problem), that the Fed started from the same point (it didn’t), and that the Philippines and it’s currency are in the same position relative to the US Dollar (it isn’t). It also depends on how you define “near term” (Mr. Salceda’s definition seems pretty loose), I’m not saying that he’s wrong, I’m just outlining the ways that his off-the-cuff remakes might not be accurate. He’s right that the BSP hasn’t traditionally used interest rates as part of its tool kit to bolster the peso’s value, though. If this really were a repeat of the early 80s then we are in for a wild ride: the Philippine Peso went from being worth ₱7.5/$1 in 1980, to ₱16.7/$1 by 1984.
- [NOTES] Quick takes from around the market...
- Go Negosyo [link] founder, Joey Concepcion, said that private businesses should be able to determine their own work-from-home policies free of government intervention. Mr. Concepcion said that each business would know best how its operations could and should be administered by a combination of on-site and off-site workers.
- MB Quick Take: This is common sense, though a little misleading as the issue for some companies is that certain tax advantages were granted based on butts-in-chairs headcount numbers. Resolve that contractual issue, and I’m with Joey (for once): let the businesses decide. It will be an uphill battle, as all the lolos-as-owners are still very old-fashioned and suspicious of work-from-home, which is super frustrating.
- The Keepers [KEEPR 1.15 ▼0.86%] [link] owner, Lucio Co, will make ₱1.5 billion by causing KEEPR to purchase his family’s personal stake in a Spanish liquor company. As reported by Manila Bulletin, Co purchased the stake in 2018 for ₱1.5 billion, and will double his money using KEEPR shareholder funds. My methods were pretty casual (eyeballing a 10-year chart), but the results were not encouraging. The peso was stronger in Q4 than it was in Q2 in 5 years (2010-2012, 2019-2020), and weaker (often significantly) in 7 years (2013-2018, 2021-2022). I don't know if it's so obvious that the peso will have an easier time in Q4 ""because remittances."

a bit of info on me, I have mild social anxiety, I also am a bit of a hypocrite and have a bad habit of unintentionally insulting someone (I don't realize I am insulting them until it is too late).
I also suspect that I have borderline-personality disorder because my mom is suspected to have it and I see the same things in me that people see in her when they suspect it. I am also terrible at noticing someones emotions because I can barely understand or even feel my own.
so I (18f) met a guy (19m)here on reddit a few weeks ago. we got along and exchanged social media. after a few days I began to notice that he has a romantic interest in me, sending harts and stuf, I liked the guy (didn't know it was just friendly love at the time) so when he asked for a date I said yes.
I told my parents and they agreed that I could go if they dropped me off to make sure it was not a scam or something, my mom even came up with a whole code in emoticons to be sure, so the day of the date came and Luke (fake name) turned up. during the date we talked while walking around and got to know each other a little better. during that time I felt nothing, only what I felt when I was with a friend. after that we went to a movie.
during the movie he took my hand and held it, after he put his hand on my thighs, that gesture made me a bit uncomfortable but I chalked it up to stress and social anxiety and wanted to give him a chance. now during the movie I focussed more on the film to calm my nerves. after the film he put his hand on my cheek and kissed me (this was my first kiss), I didn't really like it but said nothing to not hurt his feelings.
after the date he asked if it was fun and to not hurt Luke I said yes.( I felt like I just hung out with a friend and that friend suddenly kissed me)
the day after he send me a message like he did almost every day I replied back but that was it. I had realized that I only see him as a friend and I didn't want to lead him on. he kept sending messages as if we were a couple, I didn't respond to not mislead him, and then he became worried (like a normal person would). I didn't respond because I didn't know how to tell him that I realized that I only see him as a friend.
it has been about 5 days and I desperately need advise on how to tell him and I feel like a total a-hole for leaving him on read.
