It took place in a frozen and abandoned building, and featured the vocalist, Tyler, in red contacts with his hands and neck covered in black, almost as if the color was swallowing him. It also featured Josh, the drummer, with red hair and intense red eyeshadow playing his drum set while it flew way from him. The video showcased a deep battle between two forces controlling Tyler. Someone named Blurryface, and his actual self. The color red is extremely important in this story, and is always associated with Blurryface and evil. In "Heavydirtysoul" we saw Tyler being driven by an unseen figure, and later on the car caught on fire before almost hitting Josh in the middle of the road, who was also playing a flaming drum set. The burning car is a recurring theme throughout this story, always showing up during moments of personal power or rebellion. The frozen land and snow is also a recurring theme (and this era went unnecessarily hard looking back at it).________________________________________________ The Hiatus (2017-2018)On July 6th, 2017, twenty one pilots began a year long hiatus with a series of cryptic tweets showing a red eye slowly closing.(left to right) YOULL HAVE TO COME AND FIND ME MY PRETTY SLEEPER WOULDN'T IT BE GREAT IF WE COULD JUST LAY DOWN? They continue to utilize this site for updates to this day. On 7/2/18, members of their mailing list received an email titled “ARE YOU STILL SLEEPING?” with a gif of a yellow vulture’s eye with clips of Jumpsuit playing in the pupil. It featured a cryptic background story and important lore information referenced in the songs and music videos of the TRENCH era.The domain was first discovered by the fanbase on 4/21/2018, during the band’s hiatus between Blurryface and Trench through a link hidden inside the Twenty One Pilots’ official merch store website. It sat nestled in the lower region of the large and wild continent of Trench. brief scroll-through of early dmaorg.info The religion the city follows is called Vialism, where the end goal is to take your own life as it is the only route to Paradise, and that the bland dystopia they are living in should be embraced. The Bishops' names were a combination of lyrics from different songs on "Blurryface". The Bishops were as follows: Andre, Lisden, Keons, Nico, Reisdro, Sacarver, Nills, Vetomo, ListoClancy started to question Dema and Vialism 9 years after arriving. His dismay grew as his struggles with Dema became visible and the call for “more” became stronger, and he formulated a plan to escape, attempting multiple times before Nico (calls himself Blurryface), the head bishop, finds him and brings him back. He convinced Nico one day to leave the city, and destroyed the car they were driving (events of heavydirtysoul). He succeeds in escaping Nico yet again, but after getting lost in the unknown wilderness of Trench, he grew weary and anxious. Nico found him yet again in a narrow valley 5 days later. This time was different however, as he stumbled across a group of people on the clifftops of Trench. The Banditos, the rebel group he only ever heard rumors of (the events of "Jumpsuit"). After being returned to Dema, the Banditos returned for Clancy and got him out during the Annual Assemblage of the Glorified, which is a disturbing annual ritual that only the most upstanding citizens of Dema called “The Glorified” may attend, where they become the ”Glorious Gone” (they die) and become available vessels for the Bishops to use( events of "Nico and the Niners"). They brought him back to their camp and taught him their ways, but the cycle was just too strong and he was taken back (events of Levitate). We didn't hear from Clancy again until the release of the "Chlorine" music video, where we were introduced to Ned. In this letter, he talked about his time outside in Trench and noted that he felt torn between the two places, but interestingly enough he called Dema home- something he never thought he could be able to do again. On 4/2/2021, the website updated to show a progress bar that would result in the site being terminated, and a complete inversion of colors. Notable locations include the main continent, the City of Dema, Port Vial, and the island Voldsøy With this map, we saw the return of Clancy and the Torchbearer after they washed up on the island following the events of the Saturday music video. Clancy talked about how he was being used as propaganda, the performance he was to give on the ship for another Annual Assemblage of the Glorified, and how they were attacked by a strange creature under the water. He notes that the Bishops on the ship weren't real. Throughout a couple of days, Clancy lamented about his struggles back in captivity in the city and formulated his plan to take down the bishops, eventually finding a way to succeed. On 3/17/22, a schematic was uploaded showing steps to some type of ritual labeled as “psychokinesis”, and that they must “seize the available vessel”. On the next line it states that the available vessel is something that could be considered a “Glorious Gone”, so in essence its a dead body. On March 18th, 2022, Clancy discovered how to perform psychokinesis using a weapon fashioned by some curious little creatures on Voldsøy, affectionately identified as "Ned" (Neuro Expansion Device). They were thought to have been extinct. We see Ned in the Chlorine music video, and hanging out by the fire in “Ned’s cozy fireplace” These little creatures have special antlers that the bishops use for seizing their deceased victims, allowing them to inhabit their body and take control of them until they inevitably start to decay. However, they seem to be working with Keons who betrayed Nico. We saw these events play out in "The Outside" music video, which is explained further down in the thread. It included a new letter from Clancy, where he talked about having renewed hope in his plan, an updated map showing the new Paladin Strait between Voldsøy and the mainland of Trench, and a request for information on Clancy's whereabouts from the Bishops of Dema. Both letters included hidden messages, but handwritten was a question. How did you find http://dmaorg.info/found/15398642_14/clancy.html?________________________________________________ Chlorine Music VideoWatch "Chlorine" hereOn 1/22/2019, the "Chlorine" music video was uploaded to youtube. In this music video, we saw an entirely alternate reality than the one we were accustomed to. Tyler and Josh were just some pool-cleaning guys who stumbled across a little funky shy guy in Australia (its Ned). Nothing out of the ordinary there. Over the course of the video, Ned started to come out of his shell as he became very interested in what the boys were pouring into the pool (it was chlorine). Tyler had a cup the whole time, but he merely pondered it instead of taking a sip. During the bridge, when the pool is filled, Ned took a dip and grew a full set of antlers. He sat down with Tyler at the end of the video, where Tyler offered him a sip of his drink and he politely declined while looking mildly disgusted. This video didn’t seem like it had too much lore significance at first. However, its repeated symbolism throughout the story and the return of Ned, the introduction of him coinciding with a letter that seems to directly contradict what we saw in natn/levitate music videos, and his significance later on, it feels too important to not include his origin… ________________________________________________ The HypeWatch "The Hype" hereon 7/26/2019, "The Hype" music video was uploaded after recruiting a bunch of fans to partake. We're invited into Tyler's chest where there's a sick house concert happening, and everything is plaid. Everyone is wearing plaid. As the video progresses, everyone starts wearing more plaid. Even the house is wearing plaid. The camera pans out to the crowd and its just a bunch of people wearing plaid but Ned is there too (he is wearing plaid but he doesn't have antlers). The plaid levels increased to critical amounts, and the house simply could not contain it and it exploded. Tyler and Josh fell back through the roof, and continued their performance layered in flannel as the house rebuilt itself around them. As they slowly took off their tartan shackles, they placed yellow tape over the broken pieces. ________________________________________________ Level of Concern ARGThe level of concern ARG was a long, arduous, and extremely complicated online scavenger hunt that was put on by the band in July of 2020. It was designed to last over a week, but we figured it out in 12 hours. It started with a cryptic livestream on youtube that just showed a room of analog tvs that would play a distorted clip of Level of Concern on repeat, occasionally interjected by jarring audio bits. On the tv screens, various gifs and images would cycle through and occasionally a complex code would show up on screen, leading to various webpages and puzzles. There were a total of 20 codes that needed to be entered on usb.twentyonepilots.com. Once code 20 was entered, the first 500 people needed to enter their address, and they received a USB drive in the mail. This usb contained various cryptic files, demos, and goofy images from early in the Vessel era, including a video from Tyler thanking the fans for playing the game and figuring out the codes. Behind him, an analog tv flashes the phrase “Clancy is dead” in code, as can be seen hereClancy Is Dead (FULL WITH AUDIO) You can watch the recap of how the codes were found for yourself here. ________________________________________________ Christmas Saves the YearWatch "Christmas Saves the Year" hereOn the cover of "Christmas saves the Year", there is a tiny present behind Josh that has the nametag "Clancy" and it says "Sai is Propaganda" alluding to their upcoming album "Scaled and Icy" ________________________________________________ The Live Experience Control RoomAfter dmaorg.info was terminated, the site was hiding a few images teasing the new era.70's style Scaled and Icy promo posters After the release of “Shy Away”, live.twentyonepilots.com was made available to the public, and we were introduced to our icy yellow-eyed friend, Trash the Dragon. The site led to a control room where you could explore dozens of easter eggs, purchase merchandise, and wait for incoming song premieres leading up to the release of their 6th album “Scaled and Icy” - which happens to be an anagram for “clancy is dead”. It was also here that Dema held their first ever live performance, an event designed to entertain(indoctrinate) the citizens of Dema, and Clancy was the star. However, he was repeatedly referred to as Tyler during the show. ________________________________________________ Choker Music VideoWatch "Choker" hereThe Choker music video was a very interesting, seemingly light hearted and silly addition to this saga. It started off in a similar manner to the “Chlorine” music video (which is explained further down). This time, it’s set in a normal area of Columbus, Ohio, and filled with various alleyways (which we could later explore in the Roblox live event…i wont get into that here). Tyler, wearing an orange beanie, walked nervously into a toy store and was met with its employees Josh and Jim (josh’s dog). He got to the counter, and really wanted the blue dragon in the case, but Josh just started drumming. Tyler tried to get his attention, but Josh was locked in and slamming away. Tyler, now frustrated, turned back and explored the shop a little more and was startled by a sudden blue flash. Something to note, when he turned around the first time, Josh was in the same position he was in when Tyler walked in and the drums were nowhere to be found. He turned back around and went back to the counter, and Jim had turned into a little toy with a blue bandana. Josh tenderly picked up the little dragon from before and set it on the counter in front of Tyler. He heavily pondered it for a moment, before deciding to yoink it right in front of Josh and dip. Tyler didn’t realize shoplifting was against the rules. Josh chased him down with a massive gun. He caught up with Tyler and shot a giant net at him, knocking him over and encapsulating him, and Josh dragged him back to the shop. Once they reached the front, Josh opened his mouth and just absolutely smited Tyler, turning him into a bobblehead on the shelf next to Jim and the nearly liberated Trash toy. ________________________________________________ The Livestream ExperienceThe show started off as a 70’s style morning show called “Good Day Dema” with its eccentric hosts Dan Lisden and Sally Sacarver. It opened with Tyler (Clancy) sitting on the couch in between the two bishops looking positively miserable, and the bishops scornfully mocking him and insulting Josh.Dan Lisden (left), Tyler (middle), Sally Sacarver (right) Then they transitioned into Choker, a single from Scaled and Icy. The show was a concert filled with various mashups and interesting cutoffs, always being stopped or changed during a song or lyrics about rebellion or personal power. Occasionally, the bishop hosts would come back in little infomercial segments to promote Scaled and Icy, though curiously looking more and more beat up and…for lack of better phrasing they were decaying. The bishops had seized these two people and were living vicariously through their bodies while they slowly rotted during the performance to give off the impression of manufactured joy. Dan Lisden with blooddrippuing down his shirt during the 2nd informercial break, then actively decaying during the last break Sally Sacarver looking a little worse for wear (no pun intended)-second infomercial break, then actively cementing herself into my nightmares- Last infomercial break In the middle of the performance, just before “Lane Boy”, the bishops came on screen with half of their faces painted black reciting the “Stay Low” poem. The last verse of “Redecorate” was put into the end of “Lane Boy”, and was cut off by “Chlorine”. After a solemn moment during Heathens/Trees, Josh returned as the Torchbearer and they performed some songs off of Trench, burning car on stage included. After this segment concluded with heavydirtysoul, the bishops came back for their final infomercial dripping blood and threatening the audience, and then played it off like nothing happened. The performance carried on, eventually getting to Car Radio where alarms started to blare, and chaos erupted in the studio. “Never Take It” was last on the setlist, performed in a street filled with burning cars and running people. After the song ended, Tyler slowly and begrudgingly trudged back to the first set with the bishops-who were somehow looking completely normal, and finished the end of Choker, and then everyone stood up and clapped. ________________________________________________ Saturday Music VideoWatch "Saturday" hereOn 7/8/21, the next Annual Assemblage of the Glorified was set to take place. Because of the smashing success of the livestream, the bishops decided to hold a party on a submarine and have Clancy and Josh be the main performers. They sent bishop imposters (bishposters?) to control the ship and make sure everything was going smoothly. Everything did not go smoothly. A massive dragon (trash) attacked the ship, nearly drowning everyone, but 21 people are shown to have survived overall (the other 19 pilots?) _________________________________________________ The Outside Music Video/WeaponWatch "The Outside" hereOn 3/18/22, the Outside music video was uploaded after a few days of updates on dmaorg. It began with a visual of Trash, the 9 bishops, and Keons in the center holding a pair of antlers, having been caught controlling Trash and betraying the other Bishops. Then they just start stabbing. Julius Caesar style. not a fun way to go, i won’t lie. The yellow glow in Keons’ eyes dimmed, and so too did the life in Trash as he sank to the ocean floor. Clancy (Tyler??) washed up on the frozen island of Voldsøy, covered in snow. Josh/The Torchbearer came up and picked Clancy up by his collar and they walked off, eventually finding a break in the foliage. They discovered a cliff face with a cave opening, and a little guy welcoming them in. it’s Ned!! They walked through the narrow cave passages, spitting some fire bars on the way, eventually arriving at a rotation you couldn’t have dreamed up better. A bunch of Neds, all hanging out by the fire. The Ned that welcomed them in started to leave through a side cave, but Clancy and the Torchbearer followed. They met Ned on the beach, who broke his antlers to give to Clancy. He posted a schematic for a ritual to harness the power of psychokinesis. w-eap-ø-n The bottom reads: seize available vessel at Voldsoy eastern cove intercept bishops. _____________________________ glorious gone = available vessel ________________________________ bishops control the available vessel! intercept and seize _________________________________ they will make you a weapon _________________________________The top letters unscramble to say “seize keons” The Neds began performing the motions, and Clancy followed- somehow taking control of Keons’ body. He was an available vessel after all! After emoting in front of the bishops, he destroyed one of the towering lights in front of him. Keons’ body fell to the ground, and Clancy regained control of his own body. He later wrote about the experience in the most recent letter update on dmaorg. After Clancy regained control of his body, he’s seen with the Torchbearer waiting for a signal. On the other side of the Strait, dozens of banditos return the signal, cutting to a blue flaming city behind them On 3/18/2022 Clancy uploaded the most recent **digital*\* letter to the site What is this thing? This device? This gift? Some sort of neurological connection or expansion. Psychokinetic weapon? This is absurd. Why was this given to me? Why am I the only one that can wield it? Was this the reason that I survived? My mind is racing as I wait here on the rocks -- staring off into the darkness. Waiting for our torches to be mirrored - the signal he told me to wait for. It feels oddly familiar. Not the spikes in my hand, but the power it harnesses, I've felt it before. Is this also the source of those rumors I heard in the dark corners of the city? Legends and stories that I assumed were myth, inspired by children's nightmares -- tales of what the bishops would use the bodies for. Those "honorable" citizens who acheived The Glorious Gone -- referred to as available vessels. It all begins to make sense. The episodes I would have: the blood red vision, my dreams of flying, the out of body account of the rider in the river, the decaying hosts of the television show, the robed figures that commanded the doomed ship... Had we all been "seized" by the bishops using this same technique? Is this where their power comes from? Are they immortal, or just feeding off the next body, giving their hosts a brief second-life? I am in my original life, why am I available to this control? This whole time I thought I was battling my inner self. Was I actually under assault for something else? someONE else? This small eerie island has made me a weapon. We both believe that we can use it to change the momentum of this war. Now, we must return to the mainland where they should be there to recieve is. We will destroy and rebuild. Though it's been years since he last spoke with them, I hope they have not lost faith in The Torchbearers plan. In a portion of the video where it shows the map of Dema, Keons' tower is grayed out. He explained his story, what happened to the Bishops, and how he's an exception to the strange powers the Bishops wield. He's taking back his own identity, and he is going to return to Trench to finish what he's started. ________________________________________________ Red TapeOn 2/17/2024, the band updated their studio album covers to include red tape. The best running theory is that the red tape signifies bishop control. That's why keon's circle is taped, why trash is taped, why clifford is taped specifically to cover leave the city. the city is still under bishop control, and the vultures are property of Dema for surveillance. since the grandfathers are taped, and trench is in the shape of a brain, i can only assume that insinuates that the bishops have control over the continent somehow since many ideas from vessel are used in this story. or, to go along with my other theory in the next part, clancy is so focused on getting back to trench that its clouding his visionthe red tape seems to only be partially (but still almost fully) covering the eyes of the subjects on the cover ________________________________________________ Important details that couldn't really fit anywhere

I’m sure everyone here is familiar with the cycle of being made responsible for the pwBPDs emotions and basically their entire life. This was the case for me too. My pwBPD was my boyfriend but he saw me and treated me as his mother. Needless to say, the relationship with his real mother was horrendous; she has BPD too and I assume this is what caused him to be as mentally ill as he is.
Since I’ve gotten out, I have gone through a lot of personal growth and I learned to have insight into BPD and the dynamics that go with it. I can now see and understand how and why I was parentified by him. However, his team of therapists did this to me too and I cannot stomach that even after ~1.5 years. He was in therapy for the entire duration of our relationship. The diagnosis he was in therapy for was PTSD because his entire identity is being victimized by everything and everyone.
The horrors I went through in his therapy... This really got me fucked up beyond words. The therapists KNEW he was physically attacking me every fucking day, stabbing me with kitchen knives, strangling me until I was unconscious, punching me, headbutting me, running me over with his car, breaking things, kicking me out of my own house, leaving me stranded in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night, etc. He was actively on a mission to ‘’defuse’’ (his words) me, my parents and my pets and he was blaming me extensively for his suicide attempts and suicidal ideation. I’m convinced he is a future family annihilator, I swear. Now that I’m not in the middle of it anymore, I’m inclined to think that it would be clear to anyone that this is NOT good behavior (regardless of whatever reason he claims to have for it), but his therapists fully leaned into it and enabled this dynamic that almost cost me my life. I was firmly invited to come to each and every therapy session and the majority of the sessions consisted of them talking to me about how I could better support (read: fix) him while my ex was staring into space. They would tell me things like how I had to pull through so things could get better, that a relationship meant to support each other in the good times AND the bad, that we would come out stronger, asked me to name and focus on the things that initially made me fall in love with him instead of allowing myself to focus on negativity (being the violent outbursts), that I shouldn’t allow myself to be led by fear for him, compelled me to have compassion for his feelings that led him to have the violent outbursts, etc. When he was discharged from the mental institution after a suicide attempt (after which I found him), a team of therapists gave me a whole presentation about how I could best take care of him and regulate him. We weren’t even living together! I was living with my parents (taking care of my mom who was dying of cancer nonetheless) and he was living with his own parents. And yet it was like I, a 25yo, was picking up my 30yo son from the hospital when they were handing over his care to me, and apparently nobody thought this was at least a little unfair to me. How could they do this to me? It’s clear to me how him and his mother could do these things to me, but the therapists didn’t have BPD, so why did they? There were no religious or cultural reasons that could explain this, everyone in this story is not religious and we are from a western country in Northwestern Europe (The Netherlands). His therapists were also not paid by him directly but by health insurance.
I could write a book about this, but this post has already gotten too long. Does anyone else have these experiences and how do you deal with it? I still have nightmares about it. Thank you all for reading and take care.

A little about me ? • I'm very much into music and trying to learn more of the producing and making it type ~ I already in knee deep in guitar aspects. * my top 3 genres : -Alternative Metal - Underground Rap - pop punk/ pop rap ** bonus genre - classic & hard rock My hobbies include - Playing guitar and listening to jam tracks to help progress my overall playstyle and finesse ☆ - Reading & writing ( mostly Crime & mystery ~ crime thrillers ( fiction & non fiction) -writing mostly pertains to song-writing & short stories ( so have which never survived the drafting process lol.) I do enjoy cooking as such and trying different dishes when I can . When you find that convenient factor in some staple meals it's difficult to break from them.
My favorite food types ? * Italian, Mexican, and texmex ( I grew up in Texas my childhood years) for a good while so. *I can kind of bake lol.
I don't drink much~ occasionally at best, former pothead- I can't stand cigarettes, but I don't mind if you smoke around me . Still 420 friendly
I am and always was a Gamer dude / skater type - turning wanna be Rockstar & aiming to be tatted up biker man that has a attachment for the softer things in life .
I'd like a PC built soon in the near future, I've been a console man for far too long lol. But my gaming tastes range from Rpg to racing , I grew up on shooters and fighting but racing and rpgs gave definitely take the show ! (Xbox man here for the moment)
TV shows and movies- horror lol. ( jk I enjoy a array of different shows. A few to name ~ Big bang theory Young Sheldon • How I met your mother• that 70s show• I mostly gravitate towards horror & sitcoms. There's more of course! But also haven't made the time to watch some I should lol.
◇◇How my friends have often described me : quiet-, silent strong type - some have dossiered me as INTP-T .. if your into that sort of thing .
Also they have pointed out to me that I have a sort of charismatic whim to me once I get comfortable. Which often takes some time for some not everyone I know.
Knowingly I keep a small circle - I do like to go out sometimes ~ but I'm not gonna lie to you I'm a homebody ~ too me Watching a horror flick / slasher curled with a warm Tea or hot chocolate is more an attainable culture of comfort.
I am an advocate for mental health~ To my knowledge I've been diagnosed with Adhd & I'm on the spectrum for autism... yep Aspergers runs its course in this one.. Dissociate & neurodivergent in the mix of it all.
I'm totally editing this all as I go, I honestly didn't mean for this post to be this long!! But oh man , I'm knee deep already.. thanks brain lol

Last year my wife of 7 years, together for 10, told me she was unhappy. I was taken completely off guard, but assured her that I was committed to working with her to fix the issue and assured her that her happiness was very important to me. Initially, the plan was to work together through marriage counseling and give things time with the hope that things would improve for her. Again, I assured her that I was fully committed to doing this, and she told me she believed me. I was concerned about it but also felt that with hard work we would come to a better place and our marriage would end up stronger and better than ever. My wife and I never fought (not sure if that is a good thing) never called each other names, and maintained a strong friendship in our marriage. I never saw this coming. I was so in love with my wife the entire time I was with her, now I feel like that love may have blinded me from certain things. Long story short, I found out about two weeks later that she started talking to her ex-boyfriend, whom she dated for one year ten years ago, and always described as abusive and traumatizing. One night she went out with her friends, I found out she was lying and was at his house. At this point, I told her she wasn't interested in working on the marriage and told her I would find a place to live. I asked that she be respectful for the time being so things wouldn't blow up and I assured her I would leave, but I didn't want the situation to spiral because we have two kids, and she has been a stepmother to my older three kids for most of their lives. During the process of finding a place to live for myself, she continued to see him and talk to him daily. She has admitted to these things after much push for the truth. Fast forward to months later, I have my own house, I have my kids 50% of the time, I've suffered greatly but I'm in a good mental space for the most part, things are coming around and going well. Over the past couple of months, my best friend of 25 years and I have fallen into a relationship. It blows my mind that it has happened. We were very close through middle school, high school, college, etc. She. ended up married, I ended up married, we didn't talk for 10 years, but we came back together as friends. It started as us reconnecting by going to lunch and seeing each other a little more, and off things went from there. I'm very happy with the way things are going. We are so much alike and so naturally close. Recently my ex-mother-in-law, with whom I have a good relationship and respect very much, noticed a mostly meaningless conversation between me and my girlfriend on Facebook. She texted a screenshot of it with a very long message that was to the effect of saying she hoped I would have taken this time to heal my marriage for myself, and my kids. She said.I was being disrespectful to her daughter for being out in the open with my conversation, and said I must not have loved her daughter like I appeared to if I moved on from my marriage so quickly (8 months later). Of course, I responded. Told her that her daughter didn't deserve my respect after cheating, one time of which happened at a bar where a parent of a kid who goes to school with our child and who knows myself and my ex works at. The truth is if anything, I have been too nice. My ex comes to my house to see our kids anytime she wants, knows the code to get into my house, and was invited to holiday brunch because I had the kids. Even when I found out, I found a place to live and left quietly. Didnt raise my voice, didnt call names, just took a couple things and left. It made me feel like this is my fault, and I hate that. Why it would be on me to fix a marriage, that is impossible to fix, for my kids is insane to say. She knows that her daughter cheated, I wish I didnt care about this as much as I do but it bothered me. What I'm hoping to get out of this post is advice on how to deal with other people's opinions, because of course, they will have them in any situation.

 | Thanks for deciding to read my post today. This is not the definitive or complete explanation of wheelchair ramp design. Before I start let's get the technical potentially legal stuff out of the way first. submitted by SpecialistExchange28 to u/SpecialistExchange28 [link] [comments] Ramps that are indoors or in a fenced in area like a back yard (THE FENCED AREA MAY BE DIFFERENT IF IT IS ACCESSIBLE TO THE PUBLIC). Ramps not used by the public = Food delivery, mailperson, utility meter reader, Jahova's Witnesses, etc. These Ramps do not need to Meer ADA requirements. But should still be functional and safe to use. You'd be surprised at what people do. But if it works, then it works. Backyards that are fenced in and not accessible to the public MIGHT be excluded. FOR ANY RAMP OR ACCESSIBLE FEATURE ADDED TO OITDOOR SPACES THAT THE PUBLIC CAN ACCESS WILL 100% NEED A TOWN OR CITY PERMIT. THIS IS WITHOUT EXCEPTION. Here is where it gets real. If you decide to ignore this and say someone trips, slips pr otherwise gets injured by your accessibility fearure. YOU and only YOU are at fault. Even if it is 100% ADA compliant, the feature was not properly registered with the town or city so it can be noted when and where it is installed and on what property. Next the town or city will fine you a set amount per day it was in place without a permit. For example a permit for my handcycle shed cost $100 that might seem unfair and costly. But if I had just built my shed without permit they could fine me $1,000 per day it was up from the time it was built. Getting a permit and making things 100% or better than ADA complaint, yes it is easy to surpass what the ADA asks for. ADA is the bare minimum expected. This doesn't mean someone trying to con you won't try and sue you. But, if you have things in order such as getting a permit. Making things at least ADA compliant will support your side in a legal issue. Yup that is the borish stuff for the most part. Forget about it and life will likely get very annoying. For those who are interested and want a live community to chillax in to talk about most anything really, listen to music and make requests for Fave songs or topics you would like to discuss. I broadcast live typically in the cold months M-F from around when my pain allows me to get up varies 9am to after noon and I go until my sweetheart arrives home. About 5PM to 6PM I have been broadcasting live 16 years. Quite literally I am just repeating here what I will talk about live also. TikTok until the ban kicks in. Then it's back to Twitch. AbiliTV or AbiliTV Live. If you Google the name do not pay attention to the website I don't have one. And the owner of that sight well let's say I don't endorse him. I am on YouTube, FB, IG,,Twitch, account still there but not used since it went to X (Twitter), Kick - although I don't like the vibe on Kick. Of course I am here getting started here on Reddit in a more text based community. I am in the Wheelchair and Disabilities communities where I am learning about all sorts of amazing people. OK, I always hate posting I am a live content creator. I hate it so much I have hardly any community live. Ramps. What makes a crappy, good, or excellent ramp? For me it is the little details that really make the differences. I will use images to try and explain the bare basics. 1st image: Most people see this and think: My prayers have been answered. No they have not. You will notice the direction the person is using the ramp. Manufacturers do this to play into your desperate need for a ramp solution. They want you imagining how easy there ramp is to use. So they stage images showing that. Much how homes are staged. To make it easier for people to fall victim to slick sales tricks. What if the door were closed and rhe person was approaching the door? Look at the ramp. How does one say open s screen door or storm door that swings out? Most dwellings will have one. Now imagine it's raining really hard and that nice metal surface isn't as grippy? And you have a bag or two of groceries on your lap. Now open the storm door and then before it closes as they are typically on a door closer of some design. As you fight the storm door, are annoyed by the driving rain, and fumbling for your keys. Even on an ideally perfect day without snow or rain this ramp will work 100% against you. Also it isn't wide enough to allow you to move over out of the way ofcthe storm door. Meaning you need to back up and get the door perched against your wheelchair frame to now roll foward to open the entry door. Sadly using the wheelchair brakes just make things all that much more frustrating. 2nd Image: 3 ft ramp $219. This seems decent right? It isn't. You have to account for the pitch or slope. If you have a threshold that is 10 inches higher than the surface you need to reach, this means you need not just a ten foot long ramp but a raised area that meets the threshold that the ramp attaches to closest to the surface you're trying to reach. What happens if you decide to use a short ramp and have a steeper slope? The worst will be to flip backwards going up. Next worst you don't have the upper body strength to make it. The next will be you deciding never to use it except to exit with. It is a little less scary going down. Although you need really good hand strength and dexterity to maintain control at higher speeds. ADDING INFO AS A SAFETY REMINDER: Most manual wheelchairs have what are called brakes. ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ These are NOT brakes like those of a car, or bicycle. Injury or worse can happen when they are used as friction brakes. DANGER: You risk not only destroying your tire and wheelchair but also injuries from catastrophic failures of the tire and possibly the rims of the wheels. These levers no matter if they are push or pull to lock or scissor styled brakes are only meant and made to hold you in place AFTER you use your hands to stop with. OR FEET for those able to do that. The reason these are not brakes in the typical sense is because of how they work. They bite into the tire material and can blow out air filled tires by ripping through the rubber tire. On solid tires they can tear the tire causing it to fail and possibly fall off the rim. If the rim is left exposed and you are moving the metal or composite rim will slide on the surface. The biggest excuses I hear for using these levers as brakes are: They are called brakes. YouTube wheelchair brake basics how to use and not use them. I don't want people ending more disabled than they already are. My hands are to weak to stop me. I understand that. So my best suggestion is rubber coated work gooves. Leather gloves or some form of glove that you like to use. I personally don't like wearing gloves, but when I go on 16 mile strolls I wear a pair. They provide additional traction and that grip means less hand strength is needed to stop overall. It is not recommended to grab the tire for additional friction at any time while moving down hill. If tire use us needed make sure you have a pair of heavy duty leather gloves on. Welding gloves short gauntlet works. Warning: This method destroys gloves rapidly. These is due to the sandpaper like friction the tire creates with its texture and tread design. Extreme heat can build up and burn your hands. So pay attention and release grip changing hand positions to reduce this. Ramps have to be designed to work with the fact wheels like to roll. And steep ramps are what prompted my warning about brake use. I am considering designing a brake system to work like a bicycle that could be added by most people. I will look into this concept at some point. So a stubby short ramp might be low cost but isn't the answer it appears in most manufacturers images. Lots of information that needs to be shared because so many people will fall into the thinking what they have is a good solution and it's harming them and the equipment they use. Good news here: Most towns and cities do not charge or keep the charge very low for ramp and other disability access devices in public spaces. What the permit does is show you the bare minimum of what is required to make your project ADA compliant. Also it resistors your ramp or lift with the town or city and at what property. This way should a nosy neighbor want to whine about your project looking horrible the town or city can reassure that negative rube that you are in full compliance with all the ordinances and ADA requirements. So they can mind their own beeswax. Also the permit is a must if a property owner or landlord are to allow the access in the first place. This has to do with liability and property insurance. Speaking of that crap it would be wise to invest in renters insurance in the event someone claimsxto have been injured by your device. Do not depend only on the landlord or property owner's word that its covered. You could also ask your town or city how that works also to get a straight answer. If the landlord or property owner does claim you are covered always get that in writing. 3rd image shows the lack of what is called a staging area. This is exactly what a porch does. Notice the porch is flat and provides room to move out of the way of any storm door? This is a super important and all to easy to miss feature that makes a ramp go from frustrating to awesome. I even made that mistake with my ramp I built for my garage. I did change it so it has a 6ft deep 4ft wide same as the ramp staging area that once I installed a screen door I use daily. 4th image: Now it gets colorful. Nothing attaches to the porch or the building in my design. This is to respect the property. And save you on extra costs to restore things later. The support for the flat area of the porch: Measure uo to the front top edge of the threshold. Say this is 6 inches or so... Using 4X4 cut to the same width of the porch. These are rated for outdoor ground contact. Next using decking wood this should be equal to the top front edge of the threshold. In effect the timbers are the support they are orange and just on top of the porch. They go across to provide full support. How to determine how many. For the porch shown in your image would likely use three. One right under the threshold, one in the middle, and one right along the front edge of the porch. Decking would go left to right and for the parts with out full support use scrap pieces of 4X4 to position under those rows. An alternative way to set the supports are: under the threshold is left to right full width of porch. Then instead of the others being left to right. Place one on the left going vertical or not left to right. One on the right side going perpendicular to fhe horizontal one. Then you will cut one 4 inches short for the center also placed parallel to the left and right. The front porch edge piece cut to fit the width between the left and right support. That would allow you to place decking horizontally left to right with out worry of adding support for some of the deck strips. The front edge of porch part I feel should be left to right mainly to insure there is no possible way for a ramp to flext or bow in this area. But you are welcome to Google methods on building something like this also. The ramp for the porch will be the longest most likely based on the photos you shared. They are also referenced later in my post. Only around the porch and the outside of the caster wheel guides on each side or the blue color in my image needs a railing, as well as down that first ramp. The other ramps are little more than the plywood laying there. You wouldn't even really need the blue guides on the but they add additional stiffness from bouncing and bending. Again Google is very good for finding examples of how you can design a capable railing. It doesn't need to be fancy, just meet the requirements the ADA sets. To avoid annoying splinters I strongly suggest using iron pipe or proper outdoor rated round railingbars. Benefit of the metal pipe is it is very low cost. Con is in the sun it can get hot. To overcome thar railing grip tape can he used to cancle out the hot part and make it easier to grasp. Grip tape is not required. Thankfully all of this is pretty easy to do if you have some some basic tools or have access to them like narrowing them. If you lack the skill or ability to do this. Trust me when I say buying lunch each day for the hard worker(s) often is payment enough. And Thank You is the perfect payment. Our reward is seeing you enjoying the work put into the project. Last there is an green outline of a 2x4 on each side of the porch staging area. Put one on the far side as well and this should keep the staging area from shifting leftcand right. Surfaces endure a lot more force than we realize. 5th image I used my garage ramp before I corrected the flat staging area issue. So this isn't how my indoor ramp now looks. It has no railings as it is not required and the flat area towards the garage side has a 4 inch tall wheel guard wall to keep me from accidentally rolling off front casters or rear wheels. But, this is roughly how your front porch would look like. All designed to keep everyone safe who uses it. By connecting the ramp to the flat staging areas makes it much harder for it to shift around. In the case of this if you owned the property you would use a contractors grade waterproof glue and 4 8 inch long lag bolts to secure the 4x4 or wood support right next to and under the threshold and bolt it and glue it to the location. Silicone sealant works also as it is mainly to keep insects from making the area home. But since the property needs to be returned to original state, I find that making a saddle staging area works wonders. Sadlle in that it is,like a horse saddle. It isn't bolted to the horse but does use the shape of the horse as the stabilizer. And is easy to remove when needed. Image 6: Sorry about the messy drawing. This is your photo. The green is the railing around the porch and the first longest ramp. The light kind of red horizontal strips are stair tread grip tape. Using wood screws shorter than the thickness of the plywood allows you to have a 2 method way to keep these strips in place. For how much they cost you will thank me. One screw near each corner and two one top one bottom in the center. This insures they are secure. The gue or adhesive isn't likely going to stick in every case. You want full left to right coverage with 2 to 3 inch spacing between each horizontal strip. Yes you can just apply them centered and hope no one slips of they walk closer to the railing. Plus it makes insurance companies feel better also with more safety in mind. In the event someone slips or falls when pictures are taken of l the scene it will look better for you to have provided more safety than not. Also more screws can be used if desired. The only thing to make sure of is all screw heads are flat to the surface. The two method way also known as redundant measures to make sure things don't fail to the point of a catastrophe. The ADA will likely have other suggestions different than I mention. Either will work, I find much of my ideas go beyond ADA requirements. The ramps since they are so minor in slope may even be able to lay strips of 2x4 or even 1x1 that you screw to the underside of ramp. I almost think you could make what would look like a continuous ramp. One step won't really need all 8 ft of plywood however keeping them full length means you could likely add smaller pieces where one ramp ends to meet with the highest point so you can connect them so this keeps them from shifting and moving as they will. The little green marks along the sides of the blue for the length of the ramp represent side supports that are rounded into the ground and screwed to the sides. As you use a ramp that is not secured it will move a little in the opposite direction of your direction of travel. Also it will shift left or right when you first roll onto it. And since the ground shown is easy to return to its original condition once this is removed lowers cost at that time. The blue dots represent horizontal srips placed where needed these are screwed in place as yes they will slide and move into new positions that don't support the ramp. The goal is no bouncing, bending, flexing, warping ramps. As long as all wood is rated for ground contact otherwise it will rot away pretty quickly otherwise. The blue kind of bloody areas are flat sections filled in with plywood. So once you enter this ramp ot remains a plywood surface until the porch area. Where it's decking. 7th image: An example of how your ramp could be designed. In this image since the ramp os longer and rises up higher I definitely would include ratings on each side. But - it may not require them so that is OK also. The redish area is a flat area at least 5 ft deep and 4ft wide. This would allow a person the chance to turn around also. The circled spots denote support placement. Now your steps for me would not need a ramp as I can strong arm my way up short steps or curbs like those. Tha porch would be the only area I would build if this were my place. 8th image: Immediately after moving in I built this and prior to finding the original screen door that the price owners removed and I reinstalled. It was no fun using this ramp when I had to open the door. I typically had one of the kiddos now all grown up open it first for me. The lack of a staging or flat area is a huge mistake. This is ground contact outdoor rated plywood nearly 1 inch thick. Plywood keeps the construction simpler, and removal easier also later. 9th image: Shows the outdoor ramp. Notice the grip tape on this. This is the typical arrangement. I suggest side to side full width strips so able people can walk anyplace and be assured solid footing. The spacing I prefer also assures wheelchair tires have solid grip. The steeper the ramp I say 3 inches between horizontal strips. The shallower ramps for your lower or step ramps can be 4 to five inches between them. If they are wide strips works better. Image 10: This is the ADA recommendation: 36 inches wide. Trust me especially for entry doors you want some space to move over to the side to get out of the way of a screen or storm door. And a place to put down groceries or a package or anything else so you can access the door. 48 inches just happens to be a pretty decent and better than ADA requirements that allows you more room for any purposes. Image 11: Shows your porch. From what I see this should be pretty easy to cover with the staging area over the porch and ramp going down. You want to measure from the front edge ofcthe threshold to the ground in front of the porch the walkway leading to it. This will give you a total height that needs to be accounted for. Say it is a total of 10 inches tall. Your ramp will be 1 foot out per one inch in height. So 10 feet long. Now say you have the room and used 2 8 foot long plywood sheets end to end that is 16 ft. That means your slope will be less overall and easy to roll up. 10 ft will be usable but will be a little harder to roll up. Funny thing is you use the same energy to roll up 10ft or 16ft. You just exert less energy over a longer distance that still equals the amount it takes to go up a 10 foot length. Slope is something only you know what works for you. So if you need a little longer of a ramp if room allows it then that is fine. Oh I forgot skip over the smaller step when making your measurements. That isn't where a ramp will end at to rest. Image 12: The walkway. These little steps are easily rolled up by some wheelchair users. However of you can not. That is fine. The over all length of these looks decently long enough. You in effect are just governing them as I hope I explained. To keep the ramps from moving side spikes can be placed as mentioned 2 at the sides and top, two in the middle sides. And 2 and the bottom sides. They get rounded into the ground next to each area of the Ramos they will be screwed to. You might even be able to lay a plywood sheet down and see if that is enough to raise you up enough. That the plywood could just lay on the walkway. Now most likely that option will not fully work. Offered as an alternative. The very end where ramp ends or starts at the lowest point you can get an aluminum door threshold commercial grade one. It means a little bump up onto the ramp and or down it. I will photograph the one I have as it works like a charm. Also the rest of my garage ramp. The deck to ramp can be connected using lag bolts from underneath into the 2 4x4 support. Using 6 or preferred 7 or 8 inch long lag bolts 3 of them to secure the ramp to the staging deck area. Trust me when I say this, this is a mere drop in the bucket of information on how to design a ramp system. Last little note: Always get a permit prior making anything. The permit should cost nothing or very little since it is an accessibility ♿️ need. The information the permit comes with will also be of huge help in DIY or other options. Sadly there is no way to construct something like this for no cost. However, church groups, friends, local elected officials, and others can be great resources. From fundraising, to helping you locate a foundation or charity to help cover some or all of it. Do not feel bad for asking for help like this and when needed. Being a renter doesn't mean you should not have accessibility. Like I mentioned if I was your fellow disabled neighbor I would help construct this. Tools needed: Tape measure x 2 I always end up needing 2 of them at times. 4 ft level. Carpenter square. Torpedo level. This is a 1 foot long smaller level like the larger 4ft one. Carpenter or construction style pencil ✏️ they are flat and don't roll away when sat down. Wood/deck screws 3 or 4in long. Cordless drill and 2 batteries allows rotation of them when charging. They typically will last 2 or hours each. So when one runs out charge it while using the other. Leather work gloves. Socket wrench set for lag bolts. Screw driver set. Mainly a number 2 Phillips and flathead. These come in handy. Circular saw - they come corded or cordless either works. Hand saw for those cuts to awkward for a power tool. Drill bits for pre drilling holes. Liquid nails to glue some things together. Short wood screws not longer than the plywood is thick. For the grip tape strips. Safety glasses get a few pair. Hearing protection. Cutting wood can be really loud. Same with drilling it and all. Things that could help: Something stable to place wood to be cut on. Saw horses or milk crates the sturdy plastic ones. If they get cut into no big deal. They cut be cut safely on the ground without risk of damaging tools or injuring you. Since we are all in the same boat 🚢 in many respects, I find it sp satisfying helping people by helping them learn how they can also help themselves. It's how I was raised. Knowing you have some information and know where to locate more is my payment. Back to me talking about my live content. An easy way to jump into the search is to review bands that appear in the NDR playlists from around when we know TMS aired on the radio. Here are some of the rarer bands that we know played on NDR Radio in November, 1984 for which there isn't a lot of data. You can search up these names on Youtube, on discogs, or deeply on the web and let us know if you find anything interesting.

The time has finally come! After months of adjusting inputs and waiting and more adjusting inputs, I can post my final RB and WR rookie grades for the 2024 class.

This will be a long post but, if I can say so, one I think worth giving your time to. You can just scroll down to the grades but you'll get more out of it if you take the 15 minutes. Normally I'd wait and post the strongemore interesting of the classes between running back and receiver, but this time just gonna get straight to the one everyone wants to hear about the most. Also, for those that have been following along for a while, you'll see I've added the 2016 class. This was previously unseen data for my process and I'm happy with the results.
Before we get to the rankings a couple notes on process and some justification for the grades:
The grades cover almost every WR drafted since 2016 and a small selection of other guys I've been randomly interested in grading. They use a combination of competition and experience adjusted production metrics, size and athleticism inputs, professional film grades, and NFL draft capital.
The grades are technically out of 4 though it is possible to exceed 4 though nobody has ever done it. I do not include any analysis of landing spot in the grades. I only include things I can quantify and repeat year over year.
These grades correlate with fantasy PPG across a player's first two years in the league more strongly than both NFL draft capital and rookie draft ADP. They do not correlate as well as RB but it's close. I have a little less certainty about projecting WRs for fantasy and so this is built into the grades. WRs tend to score a little lower than RBs because of this.
The tiers are historical tiers (not class by class) break down like this:
These tiers are meant to be used in conjunction with ADP to provide rough guides on how to approach exposure each year. This is a crucially important point. If you miss this, you've missed much of the power of the grades.
1* are generational WRs. These are 98th percentile and up. Across all the WR's I've graded only Ja'Marr Chase, Amari Cooper, Calvin Johnson have reached this level...until this year. These are essentially perfect prospects. You should be prioritizing drafting these players any chance you get at market value during rookie drafts and then keep your ear to the ground for any decrease in value going forward through the first half of their rookie season. I've done some work on how early you should look to cut bait on rookie WRs and the data suggests that it's a lot earlier than most would think. For players of this quality, I would break that rule and look at a miserable first 3-4 games as a signal to buy rather than sell.
1 are elite WRs. They are everything you could reasonably ask for in a WR prospect but lack the over-the-top profile of the generational guys. Over 50% of these players have hit at least one WR1 season (PPG, I always use PPG). With a couple more (Garrett Wilson and Drake London), I suspect it's only a matter of time. These again are priority buys who you're always targeting at cost in rookie drafts and want as much exposure as possible when ADP places them in the late 1st, early 2nd especially. I don't know if I'd look to buy given a very poor first 4 games, but would at least kick tires to see if the price had sufficiently dropped. Usually it does not.
2 are upside WRs. These are still players you usually target in rookie drafts but typically are flawed in one way or another whether it be relatively poor draft capital, incomplete production profile, relatively limited physical traits/abilities, or a bit of multiple things. This is where we see the first hit rate cliff but there are still multiple multi-year WR1s here. Sometimes guys in this tier end up going mid-2nd or later in rookie drafts. When that happens, you want an enormous exposure.
3 are "draftable" WRs. These are the players you look to take dart throws on in round 3 and 4 of rookie drafts. "Draftable" does not mean "draftable at any price" and these guys often do end up overpriced (Laquon Treadwell, Henry Ruggs, Terrace Marshall, Denzel Mims, etc.). That said, the best use of this tier is to identify your late round dart throw types.
4 are avoid WRs. These are poor WR prospects who in some cases have enough going on in their profile to get pushed into the 2nd or even 1st round of rookie drafts (Dante Pettis, Mecole Hardman, Parris Campbell, Kadarius Toney, Andy Isabella). These are always avoids at that price and are not favored as late round dart throws compared with previous tiers. There are very few hits in the history of this tier.
5 are ignore WRs. These are players that you just do not bother with at all. They are deeply flawed prospects that have very few hits since 2016. If you want to try finding the next Puka Nacua, I would suggest looking in the tiers above.
Now on to some generalities about the class:

In historical context it is tied for the highest average grade of the top 3 since 2016, is fourth over that time in terms of average of the next 5, and is third over that time in terms of average of the top 12. The class is highlighted by 2 1* tier "generational" prospects in Marvin Harrison Jr. and Malik Nabers. In this sense alone, this class is historic as from 2016-2023, only one receiver (Ja'Marr Chase) profiled at that level. These two alone are a big reason whey this class comes in 3rd since 2016 in average grade of the top 12. Some would have a third in Rome Odunze at or near this level, but that's not how things ended up for me. More on that later.
Where the class falters compared to expectation is in it's depth. There are good players don't get me wrong but losing Troy Franklin from the upside tier hurt quite a bit and the adjustments for most players in at least draftable tier and up were mostly to deduct from their grades.
Now for the grades.
Remember, you can (and very much should) check out where these guys sit historically in the link I provided above. Putting these players into historical context is really a big part of what these grades are all about. Here is that link again:

If you skipped the intro stuff a reminder that these grades are out of 4 and that the tiers are historical tiers. They indicate where a player fits in with almost every WR drafted since 2016 + a few here and there.
Finally, again note that these grades are meant to be used in conjunction with ADP. "Draftable" for example only literally means "draftable" if the price is right. I am considering releasing a supplementary kind of "draft guide" sketch this year to really make sure I get this point across.
Now a few quick notes on some players I find particularly interesting:
Troy Franklin
Oh how the mighty have fallen. If you look at my post-combine grades, you'll notice that Franklin is much, much lower here than he was there. It shouldn't surprise anyone to learn that his fall in the NFL draft is the main driver of his likewise tumble in my own rankings.
I'm not out all the way out though. He still ends up as an at least draftable player due in large part to a very strong production profile and decent professional film grades. When you spend as much time looking at this data as I have, you start to notice little eccentricities jumping out at you. One of these "themes" that interests me the most is the little cluster of players from grade 2.35 to 2.25 historically who got to that range despite draft capital outside the first 3 rounds.
This is the qualifying list of guys:
Every name in this list had a strong production profile including an early breakout. Every name in this list declared early. Historically there's data now within my process to I think meaningfully say that 2.35-2.25 is where these elite production+early declare profiles that for whatever reason are faded by the NFL tend to populate. I'm not saying he's going to end up Antonio Brown but there is a lot to like still when you look at him holistically.
Long story short, I will have a lot of Troy Franklin assuming his NFL tumble ends up making him available anywhere near late 2nd. There's still a lot to like, he fits into an interesting "archetype" historically, and he got drafted to a spot with a depth-chart open for the taking playing alongside his college QB.
Rome Odunze
I am not low on Rome Odunze.
I think about a third of the people that see all this work will essentially boil it down to "lol he's low on Odunze". That's not the case.
He's a 91st percentile prospect for me historically. He's rubbing shoulders with the likes of Devonta Smith, Chris Godwin, and Brandon Aiyuk historically. That's very good. It's just not Malik Nabers good. I think this probably isn't a soapbox I need to get on much anymore now that it seems the Odunze = Nabers talk has died down a bit after the draft but I would say that more than anything my point here is to implore anyone reading this to not draft Odunze over Nabers.
He's a fine prospect. It's, in my estimation, malpractice to draft him over Mailk Nabers specifically. It's a lesser crime to pay a large price to jump up from BTJ or Worthy to sang Odunze but not something I will be doing personally. I imagine my exposure to Odunze will be fairly small and that it will come in exactly the spots where it's he and JJ McCarthy available and I can't trade the pick.
Ladd McConkey, Malachi Corely, Ja'Lynn Polk, Xavier Legette, Adonai Mitchell
Now these players you can say I'm low on. Their holistic profiles are just not very good at all.
Again, this is all relative to cost. I'm never paying a 1st for these players. In the likely ADP range where these guys end up, I'm going to be favoring Keon Coleman, trade backs to grab Troy Franklin, or maybe Trey Benson if he's there.
It's wise to bake in the possibility that you're wrong on a player by getting exposure to players you are low on when ADP allows. In instances where I'm on the clock and one of these guys has slipped significantly and there are no players I massively prefer, I will grab a share to account for some likelihood these guys end up better than how they grade out. Usually those situations are so rare that I end up with just about enough to satisfy that "hedge".
Jermaine Burton
I want some despite what the grade says. That's it lol. Nothing having to do with the grades obviously but a there's enough stuff outside what goes into these that I'm intrigued and the price should be right where I'm not having to pass on anyone that's clearly better very often. Maybe I'll sacrifice one Troy Franklin in a spot just to satisfy the curiosity.

I think this probably isn't a soapbox I need to get on much anymore now that it seems the Odunze = Nabers talk has died down a bit after the draft but I would say that more than anything my point here is to implore anyone reading this to not draft Odunze over Nabers.
He's a fine prospect. It's, in my estimation, malpractice to draft him over Mailk Nabers specifically. It's a lesser crime to pay a large price to jump up from BTJ or Worthy to sang Odunze but not something I will be doing personally. I imagine my exposure to Odunze will be fairly small and that it will come in exactly the spots where it's he and JJ McCarthy available and I can't trade the pick.

Now these players you can say I'm low on. Their holistic profiles are just not very good at all.
Again, this is all relative to cost. I'm never paying a 1st for these players. In the likely ADP range where these guys end up, I'm going to be favoring Keon Coleman, trade backs to grab Troy Franklin, or maybe Trey Benson if he's there.
It's wise to bake in the possibility that you're wrong on a player by getting exposure to players you are low on when ADP allows. In instances where I'm on the clock and one of these guys has slipped significantly and there are no players I massively prefer, I will grab a share to account for some likelihood these guys end up better than how they grade out. Usually those situations are so rare that I end up with just about enough to satisfy that "hedge".

Nothing having to do with the grades obviously but a there's enough stuff outside what goes into these that I'm intrigued and the price should be right where I'm not having to pass on anyone that's clearly better very often. Maybe I'll sacrifice one Troy Franklin in a spot just to satisfy the curiosity.

They should have released Unheard in the place of EOD. This should have been an edition for players who missed the chance to get EOD. At the most putting the price $10 over the original cost of EOD. Everyone with EOD should have been given this addition as a free upgrade to there account with the ability to remain with a gold name or the ability to change it freely. Dare I say even a unique way to combine the unheard name with gold letters. This would have been a smart way to drive new and old players back to the game to check out the new stuff they got for free. As well as new players or non upgraded accounts back via watching streamers voice how happy they are with the love from BSG. The would have had EOD accounts / streamers show casing the new PVE. Further encouraging non upgraded players and new players to put down $150 on the Unheard addition.

So I have made a post about two months back detailing my version and ideas for a potential V/H/S movie with the brief synopsis for all the tapes (https://www.reddit.com/foundfootage/comments/1askiju/long\_fan\_made\_vhs\_plot/)
I've decided to update it by replacing some of the ideas for the tapes as well as providing more details per tape thus making it more creative. I am by no means a writer and this is just for pure entertainment purpose. Lemme know what y'all think and if you would've changed something. Cheers.

Apotheosis (Prologue)
Set in the present day, the narrative is told via a group of three friends (Mark, Nathan and Jason) who produce Youtube videos and upload it on their successful channel “Debunkies” with over a million subscribers, debunking conspiracy theories, myths and legends, often making fun of and shaming those who strongly believe in those myths. During one of their “Fan Mail Unboxing” videos the group stumbles upon a box with no return address, containing nothing but VHS tapes and a note challenging the group to debunk the tapes’ content. Mark runs down to the pawnshop to get a VCR recorder. Upon reviewing the tapes the trios' perception of reality shatters around them.
Tape 1- The Last Voyage (Based on an Oak Island Mystery for more ya can read here (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oak_Island_mystery)
A group of Treasure Hunters sets on a deadly adventure to enrich themselves only to uncover the buried secrets of the cursed treasure. The group is led by Max, a thrill-seeker who is adamant about discovering the treasure, his skeptical girlfriend Natalie and cameraman Ethan, who are all accompanied by professor Davis, who is hired by the group as an expert on the topic.
The segment begins with the Ethan checking the equipment and the mics as the group is on the boat approaching the island. Max begins to outline their plan to professor Davis, who shares the stories and failed attempts that people had in attempt to find the treasure. Natalie remains skeptical upon hearing this but Max remains encouraged and determined. Upon disembarking the group uses the map and metal detectors to search for any abnormalities. As they enter the wooded area, enjoying the scenery Max discovers a mysterious carving on one of the trees, when all of a sudden a strong wind blows upon the group's back accompanied by eerie whispers.
As the group delves deeper into the island they discover a hidden entrance into the chamber below the lake, using their diving equipment the group proceeds deep into a cavern where they discover skeletal remains, weapons but no treasure. Upon walking further down the chamber they uncover a series of tunnels leading to an underground labyrinth, where they come face to face with a 7ft disfigured figure standing in the middle of the labyrinth. The figure is revealed to be the guardian of the island that hides the island's secrets and protector of the forbidden knowledge. Upon waving his hand the guardian summons humanoid shadowy creatures that begin chasing the group, as the group separates in the labyrinth, Ethan and Davis are running together, as they both can hear the screams of Max and Natalie echoing through the labyrinth as they fall victims to the creatures. The duo stumbles upon the hidden door with two levers that have to be pulled at the same time with force to lift the stone wall as Ethan goes through first, Davis is snatched by the creatures as the wall falls down leaving Ethan by himself. As the Ethan is left by himself, the guardian reappears injuring him. Ethan begins to limp and bleed out, as he collapses the camera falls with him and slides further revealing the next room to be filled with treasure.
Apotheosis (Interlude 1)
The trio dismisses the footage as a “fan made” film while praising the “effects” and “gore” utilised in it. As they insert the second tape in, a person can be seen through the window via, standing outside, looking into the house while the group doesn’t seem to notice him.
Tape 2 - Terra Incognita (Based on the Hollow Earth Theory)
Tasked by high ranked government officials, a group of scientists consisting of Dr. Rebecca Stone, Dr. Emily Lin, Dr. Drake Holloway and engineer Tom Berkley travel to Antartica in order to provide evidence of the existence of Hollow Earth, a world within our planet. Tom, mounts mini cameras upon each member as he operates a large one. The group goes inbetween the crevasse, as Emily appreciates the beauty of the Artic. Upon delving deeper the group stumbles upon a mysterious glow illuminating behind the ice wall. Upon examining it, the wall suddenly shatters followed by a loud echoing humming sound as light engulf and swallows the team. The camera goes black.
The camera is turned back on by Tom, as him, Emily and Drake appear to be in a temple like building in a deemed lit room full of mysterious drawings, architecture and artefacts the group realises the Rebecca is nowhere to be seen. Upon exiting the temple the group is mesmerise by tall, unique infrastructure, a large waterfall, as well as a bright night sky that illuminates the world. Despite the beauty the group realises that there are no living beings around the deafening silence settles in. As the group begins to explore their surroundings, Tom stumbles upon a blood trail that he deicides to follow behind on of the buildings as Emily and Drake are distracted appreciating the beauty of the world. The blood trail ends in a pool of blood where Tom discovers a piece of clothes from Rebecca's coat as well as her mini-camera, Tom decides to take out his equipment in hopes of examining the footage and locating Rebecca.
The viewpoint switches to Drake and Emily, as they enter what appears to be an industrial quarter with strange metal like tools scattered everywhere, as they continue to explore out of nowhere a menacing hiss is echoed throughout which shocks the duo. As they try to interpret what it was they both see Tom running towards them from the darkness yelling "WE HAVE TO LEAVE!!!", confused they both follow Tom as the group makes their way back towards the temple. As they run, the group can hear multiple voices yelling in an unknown language that seem to be closer with every step. The group barricades the front door as an unknown force tries to push-open the door through. The trio makes the way up a spiral stairwell the sound of a door bursting can be heard from below, as the camera point downwards the light illuminating the floors below dies. The group enters a random room and uses everything the barricade the door in attempt to prevent the enemy from breaking in. As it appears there is no escape from the room, the group grab whatever they can find in an attempt to fight back, as the door bursts open, Tom's camera dies leaving the faith of the group unknown. As the camera dies Rebecca's footage is played.
As the group is engulfed by the light, Rebecca awakens in-between bizzare buildings. As she lifts her head up Rebecca is shocked to see several mythical creatures with glowing eyes and four arms standing around her weilding weapons. Before Rebecca can scream one of the creatures proceeds to penetrate her with a spear as Rebecca gargles with blood and takes her last breath. As the camera captures the creatures dragging her body, they proceed to cut her head off causing the camera to fall off. Suddenly they hear human voices (the group approaching) making them disappear while taking Rebecca's body as the camera captures Tom approaching the pool of blood.
Apotheosis (Interlude 2)
Upon viewing the second tape the group tries to track the tapes’ sender online, though results prove to be futile, the doorbell is rang and upon opening the door, nobody seems to be in sight, just as one of the guy’s starts going back up the stairs he quickly notices a shadowy figure in the corner of the living room, upon pointing the camera back to it, the figure is gone and he quickly proceeds back upstairs.

A renowned and harsh art critic, Julia based in New-York, receives an enigmatic invitation to an underground art exhibit promising unseen masterpieces. Despite her initial reservations, Julia's curiosity compels her to accept the invitation. Armed with her camera, she ventures alone into the dimly lit gallery, eager to uncover the secrets within. As she enters a gallery, Julia realises that there is no stuff nor any other people present. She is immediately captivated by the haunting beauty of the paintings adorning the walls of the gallery. Julia becomes increasingly immersed in the surreal imagery, her camera capturing every stroke of the artist's brush. But as the night wears on, Julia begins to notice something unsettling - the paintings seem to shift and move when she's not looking, as if they possess a life of their own.
All of the sudden Julia captures the painting coming to life before her eyes. Figures emerge from the canvases, their eyes following her every move, their hands reaching out as if to pull her into their world. As the gallery descends into chaos, Julia navigates through maze-like corridors as she is pursued by the twisted figures. In a heart-pounding climax, Julia narrowly evades capture and emerges into the cold night air, her camera still rolling as she flees into the dark streets of New-York.
The next evening, Julia documents her thoughts about the previous night on camera as she is reviewing the footage she notices something strange. She picks up the camera and fixates on the footage that captured one of the paintings, as she moves the camera from left to right the paintings eyes move as well. Upon realising it the painting's creature emerges from the screen onto Julia cutting the footage to black.

Back into the framing story, the trio recognises the art critic from the recent news broadcast about her disappearance. Convinced that the tapes are real and being on edge, the group decided to watch the last tape, as it’s put in, several hooded figures can be seen passing by the door outside. A black out occurs, moments later a group of individuals burst into the room, taking the trio away, while the camera records the kidnapping eventually running out of battery.
Tape 4 - Master’s Paradise
A group of Dark Web hackers and hitmen scout the internet for their next victims, upon stumbling across a Youtube channel called “Debunkies”. After they finish viewing “Temporal Rift”, the trio gets kidnapped while the events are caught on footage. Awakening in the abanonded factory with the cameras being welded onto their head, the trio must fight their way out to freedom.
Apotheosis (Epilogue)
As the sole survivor Nathan escapes the factory and is trying to make his way back home. While almost making it home, Nathan is intercepted by the police as he is being questioned about his bloody appearance. After getting into the car and seemingly going back to the station, Nate realizes that the policemen are the kidnappers dressed as cops, before making a move Nathan is knocked out cold. The final scene reveals Nathan strapped to the chair with a masked man wielding a knife behind him as he proceeds to look into the camera and cut Nathan’s throat, the camera pans out the footage is revealed to be on a computer being prepared to be converted into the VHS tape to be sent as part of the mystery box to the next victims.

Why is it that all the people who emulate jynxzi (don’t know how to spell his name cause I couldn’t care less) are the most unbearable people. For example my last game on I had someone on my team saying word for word only jynxzi quotes while simultaneously calling our entire team trash when we one the game and he went 0-7-0 whereas the people above him (everyone else) had a minimum of 4 kills. Why are people like this? (This is an actual question I’ve had since the start of the season)

Alright this is going to be a long post I am about to write. I hope it is read and people will comment their opinions because I don't have many people to talk about this with.
Many many years ago, maybe after high school? (I'm 29 now) one of my best friends told me about Astral Projection and we looked into it and use to try doing it. We never got far, just those weird little vibrations/sensations in your body but unable to leave. There was one time I felt an extremely strong sensation, but couldn't leave my body and it was so intense that I shot right up in my bed. I didn't dedicate my life to it and naturally stopped trying to do it, however throughout the years ever since I moved to SC, about 7 years ago, I would have weird things happen to me whenever I would take a nap on my couch. I would take naps on the couch not to trying to practice AP but just because I was tired and would fall asleep. This wouldn't happen every time I'd take a nap on the couch there were very very few moments, but one particular time I remember napping on the couch it felt like I was being abducted and the body sensations were extremely stronger than I ever experienced before and I kept hearing really weird things outside, its hard to remember exactly what was going on with that experience because it was many years ago, the point being, it seems whenever I take a nap on the couch in my living room is when I get the strongest AP sensations because whenever I nap in my bed it doesn't really ever happen.
Keep in mind I stopped trying to AP and didn't even really think much about it anymore when that particular moment on the couch happened I did think of it and wondered if that's what it was, but nothing that intense never happened again. Yesterday, I took a nap not on my couch because 2 years ago I got a comfy lazy boy couch chair thing that pulls out and my cat loves to lay with me on it. What I experienced was the most wild thing I've ever encountered in my life and I am going to do my best to properly describe it. To put how crazy this felt to me I have done a lot of hallucinogens in my college days and experienced some CRAZY stuff, what happened to me yesterday took the #1 spot in wild experiences I have had in my whole life.
Its important to note I had the Islanders hockey game playing on my tv during this because that played a large part in what happened. I remember as I was drifting off into sleep those body sensations I've felt napping on my couch where happening, I didn't think of AP I just thought, wow I am feeling this weird feeling I've felt before on my couch napping. Eventually, I drifted off into sleep, but I was aware of my body being on the chair and the sensations I was feeling, and could hear the hockey game on my tv, but I was dreaming. I was having an extremely real dream where (and this is how I am interrupting it) it felt like I broke through into a different alternate life of mine. In my current life I grew up in long island NY and moved to SC and have lived here for about 7 years or so. In this different life of mine I still lived in SC, but I spent a lot more time visiting long island and spending many months at a time there, working all sorts of odd jobs while I was there. In this alternate life I was wanting to visit long island and I was thinking about/reliving all these odd jobs I did and had the thought, 'I wonder if they would let me work there again so I can be there for a couple months.' I kept dreaming of me working at these places, and where I would be staying at different spots on long island. The things I was living through kept changing rapidly and it was intense. It felt SO familiar to me that I kept thinking this actually happened to me in real life, and I felt bad because I forgot about all this stuff. While this was happening the sensations in my body escalated immensely and I could still hear the hockey game playing off my tv. An interesting detail I remember, I could hear the sports announcers talking about how the other team scored a goal and tied the game, this is where things get REALLY weird and I don't know what was a dream or what was me waking up. I remember hearing this on the tv and I don't know if I really opened my eyes or not, I am guessing I did, but when I opened my eyes and saw my tv I couldn't move, just look at the tv and I saw the score and what happened was accurate to what I heard. The sensations in my body were running extremely strong though, normally I would be scared like that one time on the couch I thought I was being abducted, but this time I enjoyed it and knew nothing bad was happening to me so I focused more and more on it.
What proceeded to happen next is difficult to describe, but I will do my best. I don't know what time it was, I don't know how long this happened to me, time completely disappeared in what happened next. So, I don't know what was me being awake and not, some parts I do know, but throughout this whole time, the tv playing, and my presence laying on my chair could be felt like I KNEW where my real body was and I could FEEL it and hear it. For the first time in years I thought about AP because what was happening to me sounded exactly like it did in my research I did on it many years ago. So, I tried to leave my body and there was a little TINY difficulty at first, but I lifted myself out pretty much almost immediately. I could never imagine in my life what this actually could feel like until I did it. I could 'feel' my body still laying in the chair, hearing the game on tv, but my 'spirit' (I'll call it) floated up into the air without my control. The first thing I did was turn around to see if I could see myself in my chair, but it was empty. At this point in my head I was thinking holy F'in S*it I can't believe this is happening. The body sensations were at its peek it felt like my body ingested a bunch of things that make massage chairs do its thing its like indescribable what I was feeling.
So, I floated through my house and this is where things get difficult to piece together. What proceeded to happen was every ten seconds? I don't know because time was like nonexistent, but it kept happening quick, I couldn't stay out of my body for long so I am going with 10-15 seconds I would float around and then be forced back into my body. What was difficult to remember is whether I was awake or dreaming because I kept seeing the tv and my living room when I went back into my body, but I could not move, every time I tried to move I kept leaving my body again and every time I did weirder stuff kept happening. The way I describe it is, I was moving into different dimensions (and I'm not saying I was actually moving into different dimensions this is just how it felt to me). I can't remember everything, but here's some stuff, one dimension there was a basement in the middle of this room I have my drum set in and I went into it and in the basement there were windows and I could see a huge mythical jungle outside, I really wanted to keep moving forward and go into it but I kept getting pulled back into my body having to restart the process all over again. Another time I flew straight up into the air, that one was 'quick' I guess it didn't feel like 10-15 seconds more like 5 and went back into my body. Another time there were these, and this one is gonna sound weird, really crappy SpongeBob drawings ALL over the walls of my apartment and for some reason in my head I came to the conclusion these were pictures my brother drew when he was younger, I even remember tearing one off the wall and looking at it. Another time I manipulated my spirit body into NOTHING like I was just a completely floating conscious and I could not feel my physical form AND I couldn't feel the sensations in my body this one was quick also, and like always forced right back into my body. This stuff kept happening over, and over again, something different would happen, sometimes I would just float around my house or float around outside, but then be forced back into my body looking at the TV I couldn't tell if that was me waking up and falling back asleep and leaving my body, but this cycle kept repeating for I have no idea how long. Eventually, it started to scare me because whenever I got back into my body I couldn't move, I thought I slipped into a coma, or I was dead, or this would last forever which is funny because I've felt that way on LSD before, if you know what I mean, you know. I also assumed I was napping for a while now even though I had no idea how much time had past, I feel like there was one point where I tried checking the time? There were a lot of things that happened and I can't remember most of them, but I knew I needed to wake up because my buddies would be waiting for me to get on discord and play video games with them.

The last thing I did as soon as I left my body, I reached into my eye socket and took my eye out and ate it, the 'body spirit me' felt it. I felt my eye like it was a little ball of energy I just consumed, don't know why I did it, I wasn't in much control of what was going on. It didn't even hurt, but I FELT it, I could feel the eye coming out of the socket and going into my mouth and down my throat and immediately dissipating when it got to my stomach. This sounds too crazy to make up right? I can't even believe just yesterday all this crazy stuff happened. I forced myself to wake up, I mean I had to FORCE it, I've been trapped in dreams before and I really had to summon some willpower to make myself wake up and move. Even after I woke up and moved, the sensations weren't strong, but it was still happening, I could still feel it. I immediately grabbed my phone and started texting my best buddy who was one of the people I was going to be gaming with soon and texted him like 10 different messages of what happened it was truly the most wildest thing ever. Then I went in our PSN fb group chat and started telling them all this they are really the only people I could talk to about this because we are all extremely close knowing each other for over 10 years and meeting up in real life several times to hangout. They were telling me to get into the discord, but I needed a moment to re-center myself its really tough to describe what happened especially to them after it just happened since then I've gathered my thoughts about it and wanted to make this reddit post. I felt WEIRD for a while, I hoped in the discord chat we started talking they were asking me about it because I sent like 20 messages about it lol but I felt different. I remember we hopped on The Finals and I was staring at the main menu screen and everything in life looked like it was 8k it was so weird. After about an hour I started to feel normally again as we were chatting and playing games my mind got distracted from what happened.
In conclusion, I don't know if Astral Projection is REAL or just in our heads and we are having wild dreams. I don't know if there is a spirit within me and I really left my physical body. I don't know if I was dreaming or experiencing it in real life. I don't know what happened and I can't say for sure. What I do know is I felt things and experienced something I have never even imagined was possible, what felt like a dream felt real to my body. You know how they say to recognize if you're dreaming or not to pinch yourself and if you don't feel anything you are? Well I did that and I felt that, in fact I could feel everything happening to me and not only did I feel it in my 'spirit body' but I felt it in my physical body on my couch, I could feel myself in two separate places somehow. I found it odd when I turned around to look at myself the chair was empty, I've heard stories that you could see yourself, but I didn't? I had another experience today because of course I wanted to try it again, and I am convinced it was Astral Projection even though I can't say for sure if it's real or a dream, but this post has gone on long enough and I need a break from writing lol I will comment on this post what happened today because it was interesting and quick so it wont be a million words long.

Many many years ago, maybe after high school? (I'm 29 now) one of my best friends told me about Astral Projection and we looked into it and use to try doing it. We never got far, just those weird little vibrations/sensations in your body but unable to leave. There was one time I felt an extremely strong sensation, but couldn't leave my body and it was so intense that I shot right up in my bed. I didn't dedicate my life to it and naturally stopped trying to do it, however throughout the years ever since I moved to SC, about 7 years ago, I would have weird things happen to me whenever I would take a nap on my couch. I would take naps on the couch not to trying to practice AP but just because I was tired and would fall asleep. This wouldn't happen every time I'd take a nap on the couch there were very very few moments, but one particular time I remember napping on the couch it felt like I was being abducted and the body sensations were extremely stronger than I ever experienced before and I kept hearing really weird things outside, its hard to remember exactly what was going on with that experience because it was many years ago, the point being, it seems whenever I take a nap on the couch in my living room is when I get the strongest AP sensations because whenever I nap in my bed it doesn't really ever happen.
Keep in mind I stopped trying to AP and didn't even really think much about it anymore when that particular moment on the couch happened I did think of it and wondered if that's what it was, but nothing that intense never happened again. Yesterday, I took a nap not on my couch because 2 years ago I got a comfy lazy boy couch chair thing that pulls out and my cat loves to lay with me on it. What I experienced was the most wild thing I've ever encountered in my life and I am going to do my best to properly describe it. To put how crazy this felt to me I have done a lot of hallucinogens in my college days and experienced some CRAZY stuff, what happened to me yesterday took the #1 spot in wild experiences I have had in my whole life.
Its important to note I had the Islanders hockey game playing on my tv during this because that played a large part in what happened. I remember as I was drifting off into sleep those body sensations I've felt napping on my couch where happening, I didn't think of AP I just thought, wow I am feeling this weird feeling I've felt before on my couch napping. Eventually, I drifted off into sleep, but I was aware of my body being on the chair and the sensations I was feeling, and could hear the hockey game on my tv, but I was dreaming. In my current life I grew up in long island NY and moved to SC and have lived here for about 7 years or so. In this different life of mine I still lived in SC, but I spent a lot more time visiting long island and spending many months at a time there, working all sorts of odd jobs while I was there. In this alternate life I was wanting to visit long island and I was thinking about/reliving all these odd jobs I did and had the thought, 'I wonder if they would let me work there again so I can be there for a couple months.' I kept dreaming of me working at these places, and where I would be staying at different spots on long island. The things I was living through kept changing rapidly and it was intense. It felt SO familiar to me that I kept thinking this actually happened to me in real life, and I felt bad because I forgot about all this stuff. While this was happening the sensations in my body escalated immensely and I could still hear the hockey game playing off my tv. An interesting detail I remember, I could hear the sports announcers talking about how the other team scored a goal and tied the game, this is where things get REALLY weird and I don't know what was a dream or what was me waking up. I remember hearing this on the tv and I don't know if I really opened my eyes or not, I am guessing I did, but when I opened my eyes and saw my tv I couldn't move, just look at the tv and I saw the score and what happened was accurate to what I heard. As a journalist at a local newspaper, I canvassed public opinion to gather information for a high-impact news story about the closure of a local shop.I'm not sure it's great. Any ideas on how I might improve it?
To ensure that my probing of public opinion was relevant to the story we wanted to publish, I met with senior internal stakeholders of the news-organisation to discuss my questions and approach.
I recognised that our strategic goal as a news-organisation was to become the most respected, trusted newspaper in Norwich; thereby increasing our circulation and improving our profits over the long-term. I knew that this would require a broad section of the public, i.e. external stakeholders, to have confidence in our reporting, and feel that their views were respected and heard.
I contributed to this strategic goal by consciously ensuring that a wide-range of public opinion was represented in our article about the closure of the shop, and proposals for its development.
Recognising that our strategic goal required us to surmount public apathy about the press, I used my strong communication skills to persuade the public that our interests were aligned: we wanted to act as champions for the community’s point of view; and our coverage, if it gained traction, might help to ensure that the retail site was developed in future. In response to my persuasion, many members of the public agreed to give their names and gave their consent to being quoted, enabling the article to have more impact.

It’s taken me a little while to get the time to devote to getting this subreddit off the ground, but I’m making time for it because I think it’s important. And I’d like to share my story because I think it mirrors others I’ve read and maybe someone will find something in it that resonates with them.
In October of 2023 I came out to my wife of 8 years after living in the closet my entire life. The only people who ever knew my sexuality were the guys I was with and my dog. And I never really kept the guys around out of fear of being found out — a fear probably shared by most guys I was with.
Looking back on it, I’ve always been bi but I didn’t always have the language for it. When I was a younger boy, I had a friend who would sleep over and when the parents would go to sleep we’d fool around. Nothing too crazy, just exploring and touching. As I got older, I became more fascinated with guys. But it didn’t make sense because I’d also had some very strong crushes on girls too.
I grew up in the Midwest outside of a college town where hillbillies ruled the world. Baptists and Pentecostals were the dominate religion though my family was Catholic….but not like “Latin mass” Catholics…more liberal Catholics and we went to the Catholic Church in the college town because it was, in fact, as liberal as a catholic church could be.
I never explicitly got the message that “gay is bad” from either my parents or the church I went to. But I also never got supportive messages either. In fact my family never discussed sex ever. All my sex education came from school. I know I could have probably talked to them and it would have been okay but I didn’t feel like that was something they’d ever want to discuss. So I kept it to myself.
School was a different matter altogether. This was the era of AIDS and Ryan White. AIDS was often called “gods punishment to f-gs” in school. “Smear the Queer” was a game we played in gym class up through high school and this was the sport’s official name.
High School was also the place the homophobia went into over drive. There were no openly gay students in my small school. There was one guy who was somewhat effeminate and he was constantly ridiculed and mocked for being gay. He might very well have been, but the religious nuts and the jocks made an example of him and I got the message quickly: this is wrong and if we even suspect you like other guys then we’ll turn our ire on you.
But I felt safe having a girlfriend even though I also had a crush on this cute blond boy. I had to push that super deep in my psyche because gay kids were literally getting murdered in other states. And very frequently getting beat up.

The price is holding strong even though the whole market's dipping, and everyone in the community is HOLDING their tokens like crazy even on a weekend. This tells me one thing: they REALLY believe in the Future project. The Future trading bot hasn't even dropped yet, and we can all imagine what that's gonna do to the price - it's gonna explode!
