This is a question regarding Serbian real estate lawyers and the post sale process. We sold a house in Serbia and need the final decision on how much we owe in capital gains tax so we can pay it as soon as possible. The urgency is because we need to electronically transfer the money from the bank in Serbia to our account in the US (where we live). We know it’s a much slower process than in the US and we’ve been patient… It's been a year now since the property sold and we’ve been in one of those “fali ti jedan papir” bureaucracy loops with the revenue agency. The newest FT1P is that they are asking for proof regarding how much was paid in property taxes for the house over the years. This, to me, seems like an obvious ask… one that should have been expected and frankly at the top of the pile. Yet, when I asked our lawyer over there about it he said those receipts/records were given to the buyer of the home as part of the closing and he will have to contact the buyer to try to get them again and take copies. When I asked him if this is something they don’t usually ask for but are doing so in our case, his reply was weird: “they have the right to ask for any proof needed to determine the state of account related to the property. They also asked for confirmation from the Hydro company which I sent them. Now they are asking for this and we will deal with that too.” To me, these seem like things that they would ALWAYS ask for and that a lawyer should have prepared and submitted automatically; not wait until they ask for things one by one. He is not charging us crazy $$ or anything so I really don't think it’s a “milking the foreigners” tactic. Maybe my sensibilities are too “American” but:
1) is it not standard practice for real estate lawyers there to make and keep copies (be they physical or digital ones) of the receipts/records given to them by the seller which pertain to property taxes paid on the property?
2) I’m assuming that if it is typical for the buyer to receive those records (instead of the lawyer keeping them), they must be needed in order for the revenue agency to calculate how much the buyer needs to pay for their portion of taxes related to the purchase of the home (which our buyers have already paid). Based on that assumption, would these records which serve as proof of taxes paid to date not already be in the agency’s files/system? If the buyer already submitted them regarding the same property, why are they asking us for them again?
So what is going on here? Is our lawyer incompetent and/or lazy? He certainly didn’t strike us as such during our interactions and isn’t young and inexperienced by any means: been at it for decades and our real estate agent has worked with him in the past. Or is all this the standard method of operation for these transactions over there?

Prodali smo kuću u Srbiji i potrebno nam je konačno resenje o koliko dugujemo za porez na kapitalnu dobit da bismo mogli da je platimo što pre. Hitnost je zato što treba elektronskim putem da prebacimo novac iz banke u Srbiji na naš račun u SAD (gde živimo). Znamo da je to mnogo sporiji proces nego u SAD i bili smo strpljivi... Prošlo je godinu dana otkako je imovina prodata i mi smo u jednoj od onih „fali ti jedan papir“ birokratskih petlji sa poreskom agencijom. Najnoviji FT1P je da traže dokaz o tome koliko je plaćeno poreza na imovinu za kuću tokom godina. Ovo mi se čini kao očigledno pitanje... ono koje je trebalo očekivati i staviti na vrhu dokumenata. Ali, kada sam o tome pitao našeg tamošnjeg advokata, on je rekao da su te priznanice/zapisi date kupcu kuće i da će morati da kontaktira kupca da ponovo pokuša da ih dobije i uzme kopije. Kada sam ga pitao da li je to nešto što obično ne traže, njegov odgovor je bio čudan: „imaju pravo da traže bilo koji dokaz koji je potreban za utvrđivanje stanja računa u vezi sa imovinom. Tražili su i potvrdu od Elektro kompanije koju sam im poslao. Sada jos i ovo traže pa cemo im nabaviti.”
Meni se to čini kao stvari koje bi UVEK tražili i koje je advokat trebalo da pripremi i preda automatski; ne čekajte da zatraže stvari jednu po jednu. Ne naplaćuje nam lude $$, tako da zaista ne mislim da je to taktika „muzenja stranaca“. Možda je moj senzibilitet previše „američki“, ali:
1) zar nije uobičajena praksa da tamošnji advokati za nekretnine prave i čuvaju kopije (bilo one fizičke ili digitalne) priznanica/evidencija koje im je dao prodavac koji se odnose na porez na imovinu koji se plaća na imovinu?
2) Pretpostavljam da ako je tipično da kupac dobije te evidencije (umesto da budu kod advokata koji ih vodi), oni moraju biti potrebni da bi poreska uprava izračunala koliko kupac treba da plati za svoj deo poreza vezano za kupovinu kuće (koju su naši kupci već platili). Na osnovu te pretpostavke, da li se ovi zapisi koji služe kao dokaz o do sada plaćenim porezima već ne nalaze u fajlovima/sistemu agencije? Ako ih je kupac već dostavio u vezi sa istom nekretninom, zašto ih ponovo traže od nas?
Pa šta se ovde dešava? Da li je naš advokat nekompetentan i/ili lenj? Nismo imali takav utisak u toku interakcija. Takodje nije mlad i neiskusan: radi ovo decenijama i naš agent za nekretnine je radio sa njim u prošlosti. Ili je sve ovo standardni metod rada za ove transakcije tamo?

Comprei um notebook Samsung Book3 Ultra que normalmente custaria 8 mil reais por 5500 na loja oficial da Samsung no Mercado Livre.
Pelo jeito estão alongando ao máximo esperando que o Mercado Livre automaticamente cancele a compra e me conceda o reembolso, mas minha intenção é ficar com o notebook. A data de entrega do notebook já passou e agora abri uma chamado com o Mercado Livre que notifica a loja para a entrega e faz o reembolso caso não haja resposta.
Tenho prints de todo processo de compra do Notebook, uma mensagem da própria loja dizendo que a entrega iria atrasar e print do notebook disponível para compra na loja deles pelo preço cheio.
O que posso fazer para que eles cumpram com a compra? Caberia também alguma indenização? Que tipo de outras provas posso recolher para fortalecer meu caso se precise tomar medidas legais.

Fă-te faimos, fă-te iubit, fă-te scriibil. Dă cuiva un motiv să scrie despre tine și haide să devenim oameni diferiți. Pune mâna la gură în autobuz și dacă e cineva care îți dă COVID, refuză-l. N-ai nevoie de concediu medical, oricum ești șomer și trăiești din gig-uri. Azi ești barman, mâine ești chelner, apoi, o săptămână lucrezi într-o vulcanizare, în Dusseldorf, în drumul spre Polonia, unde vei sta șase luni la o fermă. Dar nu, tu vrei să fii ca mine, vrei sa fii eu, ești deja eu și ce ți-aș putea spune despre mine, când știi deja totul? Unde m-am născut? Nu contează, pentru că amândoi sfârșim în același loc. În spatele unui monitor mărunt, citind același email care întotdeauna începe cu ”I hope you are keeping well”, urmat de aceeași întrebare interioară - ”Do you?”. Ce să îți scriu, când cunoști deja totul despre mine? Aș sfârși această lung monolog cu clasicul ”haide să bem o bere”, dar te cunosc prea bine să te plac. Și viceversa. Rămânem ficțiune, un text de două pagini pe care l-ai citit pe diagonală, pe telefon, într-o zi întâmplătoare, așteptând să adormi. Ai grijă.

Here's the rundown:

• Mid 30's married couple in MCOL (some might say HCOL though)
• Not interested in having kids
• Currently in a 3/1 1200 sq ft home
• Want to upgrade to a bigger house but stay in the city
• Found one at 850k and checks all of our boxes, we could see this being a home we stay in for a very long time. We haven't been considering this high of a price, but this is basically a dream home.
• Current finances:
  • HHI is ~275k, (25k of which is bonus, but we've historically gotten almost all of it)
  • Savings: ~210k, just sort of grew our emergency fund into something large enough for our next down payment
  • If we sold our house, we imagine we'd probably profit around ~175k
  • Don't think this factors in, but we do max 401k (wife just started to max recently) and have ~315k there
  • No other debts, we have 1 car that's paid off that we share and we stay on top of all credit card bills since we're point sluts

So we have the ability to pay for the down payment, and can even do a recast immediately after the sell of our current home to put towards our new loan and get it down further.
These interest rates are nuts though, after number crunching, I'd be going from a $2050/mo PITI to around a $5500/mo PITI with the hope that interest rates drop significantly in the coming years so we can refinance. Based on our spending, we'd have to readjust and not be as liberal with our spending - which typically comes in the form of going out to restaurants and bars, but we'd be of incentivized with the better kitchen to cook at home more. Savings rate would definitely drop, but still possible to save $10-20k according to my calculations (after 401k contributions continuing). So basically I know we can probably do it, it would be an adjustment, but how do the numbers feel to others? Just curious - thanks in advance!

Michael stepped through the dark woods at a slightly above leisure pace. The first rays of the dawn's light haven't yet penetrated the ironclad cover of the forest's canopy. Its thickness held together the shroud of darkness below, only small shreds of it peaking through rarely. Although he knew he walked a familiar path, the reduced visibility made the walk nearly alien, with a stumble here and a trip there, an uncertainty started to seep into Michael's chest even if he didn't know it.
'Alright. It is going to take a bit to get there, but I'll be making it in time. So... daeman. Based on what I know they are just basically pink demons. Ok, ok, ok... I've done this until now on a dime... I just... phew... just gotta do my character research. Yeah... just like theater. Literally it is just theatrics. So... what's a demon? Well if years of playing dnd thought me anything is that they are either feral, unhinged and nuts OR eerily calm, imposing, calculated and scheeming. I did both of those and a demon that can do both is even worse. Just gotta switch between those when it makes sense. Mhmm... so personality wise... basically gotta switch between one of those pointy eared muscle covered hounds and a chihuahua that can actually bite, not just bark.'
While the nervous human revised his 'role', he'd already start to adjust his body language. As if by instinct he'd lift his shoulders and roll them back, his spine popping as he straightened, shoulders relaxing and dropping at ease after that. This move would straighten his posture entirely and push out his ribcage and chest, something his mother drilled into his head over the years as being a confident, yet relaxed posture when done right. He'd straighten his head's posture, from the neck, which nearly made him look like it was positioned up from a downward perspective, requiring him to literally look down upon someone with his eyes. His hands were curled up nearing to fists, yet hung relaxed, as if to show an eager readiness for violence. As a last touch up instead of stepping quietly as he got used to over the years, he'd let his steps announce his presence, as one who's afraid of nothing would.
After traveling a bit over half of the treck towards the river and where the Rock Backs would be situated, there would be a clear sight of lights up ahead in the distance, clearly from torches. Michael would gaze at them with a bit of confusion, but regardless he kept on walking closer and openly. Slowly, three figures would be more visible, one of them turned showing as to either be themselves striped or have brown stripes painted on their back.
Only half a second of hesitation would pass as the human took in a deep breath and he then shouted out. "Ay! You three. You're with the Rock Backs, correct?" He'd say while showing quite the enthusiastic face despite his true feelings of nervousness.
As he had guessed, indeed the trio seemed to be Tuskir and the stripes confirmed their alegiance as expected. The figures turned to face him properly as he shouted in his approach. Once he got a bit closer, one of them that was a bit more upfront huffed a not so pleased snort at him.
"Aye. We were sent ahead to guide ya to our encampment, Daeman." He replied with a clear displeasure to his tone.
Another one of them stood silent as he just glared at Michael, while the third let out a guttural squeal and spat on the ground. "Well? What ya waitin' fer, hellspawn? Pick up the pace and keep yer paws where we can see 'em. Just cause ya struck a deal with Bruyza, it don't mean we gotta like ya."
"Dawww. Isn't this nice? We already seem to be getting along and on the same page. I've a feeling we'll be sharing stories soon while braidin' one another's hair, eh? You'd look good with twin tails." Michael said smirking while looking at the third Tuskir who haf a wilder mane and carried himself in a heavier looking armor than the other two.
The human continued his walk with the trio, but something didn't sit right with him. While they walked, two of the three had put out and discarded their torches. As they walked forward wordlessly, those same two boar men would also position themself to the sides and back of Michael, doing so nearly seemlessly, but not enough for the human not to notice.
While they advanced, Michael would peek at them with the corners of his eyes while also glancing forward at the only one who still had a light source. 'This doesn't feel right. I know for certain we were to meet at the same place as before... am I being paranoid? Alright... think. If they were afraid I'd not show up they'd wait until the time was up and then came to us... there's no reason for them to think I need escorts since I'm supposed to be a big scary strong thing. Eeeeh... why are these shmucks here then?"
Michael started taking into consideration multiple reasons that could be possible for his unexpected escort to be present, but none of them made sense. With his uneasiness building up, he'd sling his backpack off and hold it, quickly getting the attention of the two at the back.
"What do you think yer doin', hellspawn?" One of them asked while putting a hand on an axe hung by his belt.
"Hm? Oh, cut down on that paranoia. Makes you seem pathetic. This meat form I had to take to be here has needs. One of them happens to be water. If you've ever heard of somethin' like that, or... what? Do you milk rocks up in the mountains to sustain yourselves?" Michael would reply with a chuckle as he taunted his escort while starting to rustle objects in his backpack with his hand.
"You... hnngh-..." The Rock Back grunted and huffed as he muttered between clenched teeth.
Taking advantage of this momentary distraction, Michael would feel about and find one of his tiny Woh flask potions and he'd use his fingers to tuck it into the band of his bracer at the wrist, before grasping a hold of a small water skin and pulling it out. 'Heh. Well, I might not be a good slight of hand at pocker, but I didn't learn to hide pieces of paper in my sleeves for nothing. Stressful, but thanks to that I passed chemistry in highschool.' Before he could finish his sentence, the armored tuskir in front of him stopped dead in his tracks, turning with a decently large vial of liquid and herbs in his other hand and he'd splash Michael right in the face. Surprised by the sudden violent spill of liquid against his face, the human would close his eyes and bring his hands to his face to quickly wipe away the liquid. While blinded in this manner, his guard would be shattered as a brutal force would then slam into his right side, making Michael buckle as he got sent rolling in the opposite direction.
"HAHAHA! GOT 'IM GOOD, DIDN' I?!" exclaimed one of the two Tuskir from the back, who was armed with a club, right after he just bashed up the human.
Michael took a half second to realize he just got attacked, with the hand that had the vial hidden against its wrist pushup to his eyes to wipe them, he'd push himself up on the other wobbly like. He was afraid to try and open his eyes, unknowing what he got splashed with so instead he bit on the cork of his poison vial, opened it and stashed it in his cheek, as he dripped the solution on his tongue while wiping his eyes. "I- I can't see-..." he groaned loudly while trying to get his footing.
"Yeah. You got 'im good." The armored tuskir said while tossing the vial aside. "Better prepare yourself fer a sudden departure daeman. We'll make sure ta send ya back to the firey pit ya came from. Hope ya liked a lil' taste o' holy water. Keep ya well on your way back." He'd say while taking a handaxe off of his own belt.
"Hah ha ha... Sadly fer ya, not all o' us are keen on makin' deals with hell filth. Bruyza ain' gonn' be happy with ya missin' but is expected of daemen to be shifty scum, so yer missin' presence will be easy ta explain when we're all... surprised yer missin', he he he... ." The tuskir who Michael antagonized said while snorting and cackling, unsheathing his handaxe at the ready.
The three began closing in on Michael, their gate relaxed as they taunted him, their confidence in having the upperhand letting them ooze with a gloating energy. Michael instead had finally gathered himself, head tilted back as he held onto his face, having just finished the last few drips of the Woh vial.
"I can't see... how you furred fucks didn't think that'd just piss me off." He'd say as his trembling voice would change to one more confident. As he spoke he lowered his head at a way lower angle, pulling his hand down in the same motion to reveal a pair of bloodshot eyes, as well as a bloody dripping nose and a wide toothy grin, stained by his own crimson. The shadows on his face would make it seem like he bared his teeth from ear to ear, the expression of the pin point focused eyes, quickly darting to focus on each of the three attackers. Now, that put a stop to their enclosing movement, and this simple shift had changed their confident gloating to a dread filled uncertainty.

May 2023: Male partner moves in in my apartment furnished by me that I rent. Not working. Me, female, i am 7 months pregnant. Still working. Partner not working. I am paying the cost of living (rent, bills, car etc… ). No financial help except for food.
(Note : we agree that he will pay the rent once he can work)
July : I give birth. I stop working, I still pay for everything except for food and occasionally he pays for fuel.
July to December : Male partner still doesnt participate. I pay for everything. All comes out of my saving. I take care non-stop of our baby. He helps with chores.
Since December : he works and is very proactive on being the one able to pay for things. *Worth noting that what he gives me each week in no way it covers for everything. It’s a little more than the rent but not enough for all the other expenses. *rent is 450, he gives me 600-650. So this doesnt cover all the bills, food, baby items etc… *i am completely broke. All this months of paying for everything left me completely dry. He doesnt realise how much little I have left.
Here the important stuff I need your opinion on. On top of rent, cost of living, use of my car, etc… i have lend him money. Nothing majors, and for about 4 differents things, totalling about $5500. Now here is the bit that is a bit hard to explain. The way he see things is I have paid for everything for 8 months so he will pay for everything for 8 months. And his calculations, his way of giving me back the debts money ($5500) is by paying the rent.
Now, i just want someone’s opinion here and lets put aside gender roles.
But in my view, this debt money needs to be separate. As it should be my choice how it is to be spent, the same way it was his to decide how he needed to spend it. Is this fair for me to say so ?

Edit : he is a hard worker now that he can finally legally work. He is committed to do the right thing for me and our child. Our view of repayment might differ which is why I am seeking advices on the best way to approach it without it creating tension.

Timeline so you get the idea.
May 2023: Male partner moves in in my apartment furnished by me that I rent. Not working. Me, female, i am 7 months pregnant. Still working. Partner not working. I am paying the cost of living (rent, bills, car etc… ). No financial help except for food.
(Note : we agree that he will pay the rent once he can work)
July : I give birth. I stop working, I still pay for everything except for food and occasionally he pays for fuel.
July to December : Male partner still doesnt participate. I pay for everything. All comes out of my saving. I take care non-stop of our baby. He helps with chores.
Since December : he works and is very proactive on being the one able to pay for things. *Worth noting that what he gives me each week in no way it covers for everything. It’s a little more than the rent but not enough for all the other expenses. *rent is 450, he gives me 600-650. So this doesnt cover all the bills, food, baby items etc… *i am completely broke. All this months of paying for everything left me completely dry. He doesnt realise how much little I have left.
Here the important stuff I need your opinion on. On top of rent, cost of living, use of my car, etc… i have lend him money. Nothing majors, and for about 4 differents things, totalling about $5500. Now here is the bit that is a bit hard to explain. The way he see things is I have paid for everything for 8 months so he will pay for everything for 8 months. And his calculations, his way of giving me back the debts money ($5500) is by paying the rent.
Now, i just want someone’s opinion here and lets put aside gender roles.
But in my view, this debt money needs to be separate. As it should be my choice how it is to be spent, the same way it was his to decide how he needed to spend it. Is this fair for me to say so ?

With the Physics C exams coming up in 2 days, I thought I'd share some tips. Feel free to give me some tips in return :)
Calculator Stuff:

1. Store all the important constants on your calculator (G = 6.67E10-11, μ = 4πE-7, ε = 8.85E-12, electron mass = 9.11E-31, proton mass = 1.67E-27, k = 9E9, e = 1.6E-19). This is very important because it minimizes the chance of miscalculation and saves you a bit of time. Basically just type the value, then press the STO button, then press the alpha key and a button with the green letter you want.
2. Don't forget to switch your calculator to degree mode before the exam. The test is a day after AP calc, so a lot of people will probably be in radians. In some cases you'll need radians (sometimes it's important for SHM and electrostatics) though, so keep that in mind too.
3. When typing in exponents into your calculator, use the EE button (click on 2nd then the comma, then type the amount of times you want to multiply by 10). It's way easier than using the 10^x button and manually typing out the exponent and minimizes the chance of mistakes.
4. If you have a really big or small number that isn't automatically converted into scientific notation, instead of counting the digits, change the calculator mode to "SCI" and enter the answer again to get it in scientific notation. Don't forget to change back to normal when you're done.

General Strategies:

1. Pay attention to what the FRQ is asking you to do. If it asks you to "determine" something and especially if it asks you to justify your numerical answer, usually you'll get full credit for writing just the answer down, and it's possible the answer is 0. If it asks you to find, calculate, or derive something, show all of your steps. And obviously don't put a negative number down if it asks for the magnitude.
2. Pay attention to units for E&M (mechanics almost always has correct units given). If you write down the correct units for each numerical answer for an FRQ, sometimes you'll get a point just for that.
3. Write the "correct" version of a formula when showing work. For example, don't say that flux = EA or flux = BL, instead say that it equals the integral of E dA or B ds. Similarly, don't use force equivalences (or any other equivalences for that matter) without explicitly saying F = ma (i.e. don't say ma = -kx without writing F = ma).
4. Don't forget the negative signs (or do forget them if it asks for magnitude) for stuff like torque (for all clockwise torques), dU/dx, spring force, and potential difference. Sometimes the negative direction is up too for forces too depending on the context.
5. If an MCQ has a wall of text or a complex pictorial representation, just skip it. Time is unbelievably scarce on this exam, so use it wisely.
6. If you encounter a linearization (line of best fit) question (they appear on basically every recent exam year so you should definitely be prepared for it), write an equation in the form y = (m)x + b, and use this to analyze what would happen if one or more variables were changed (those questions pop up a lot with linearization problems). Make sure to use points on the line of best fit and not points given on the graph to calculate the slope, because if the points are far enough from the line

Ahh, Chaos Aether Ray! There's a bunch of different takes on it out there - this is mine. The core components are clear enough: Converted Aether Ray for a primary damage source, Sigil of Consumption for a secondary. Mythical Black Flame set to buff up the damage sources, Mythical Essence of the Grim Dawn for attack damage to health conversion on the aether ray, Solael's Witchblade for resist reduction, and Broken God for raw chaos damage.
Rather than belaboring the basic concept which grimtools shows just fine, I want to talk about a few of the build's key selling points, as well as some of the unusual choices I've made in building it - things that are significantly different from other chaos aether ray builds I've seen. Starting with the selling points:
Casters can be quite squishy, but not this one! Aside from the usual maxed resistances with overcaps on the ones that need it, it features:

• Almost 22k health, with MASSIVE health regen thanks to giant's blood and blood of dreeg!
• 43% damage absorption (25% possession; 24% maiven's sphere; multiplicative)!
• ~30% physical resistance (with dreeg's blood); jumping to well over 50% when in the ritual circle!
• Attack damage to health on BOTH primary DPS sources!
• An invulnerability panic button (mirror of ereoctes)!

Good resist reduction! Although most of its' RR effects are on % chances, so you usually don't have them all going at once, it has access to the following chaos RR totalling 103%:

• -10 from Solael's flame (weapon component)
• -10 from rings
• -20 from orb
• 28 reduction from Acid Spray (manticore)
• -35(!) from Solael's witchfire

Lots of spreading/passive damage! Thanks to a combo of Agravix's malice, solael's witchfire, your various recurring/ DOT spells, doom bolt from doomtouch, and so forth, things just seem to keel over in practice.
Excellent DPS! The raw 'naive' DPS number calculated in game maxes out well north of 300k with all the buffs/procs going, well north of 200k with nothing going. If that doesn't do it for you; how about this: target dummy kill time of approximately 20 seconds.
In summary: it's really hard to kill this thing, and everything just melts. I've beaten SR75 with it, and actually found myself SEEKING OUT nemesis boss fights while doing so, because even they just melt. I've killed epic ravager and with it; but have yet to go after the ultimate difficulty celestials (I haven't actually finished all of ultimate with it; it's halfway through Forgotten Gods and has yet to do Ashes of Malmouth).
Now, to address some of my more ususual choices:

• Why all that Spirit?

Because why not? Some might get spooked by the low baseline DA, but as I've previously addressed, we have enormous defences and can actually absorb a crit or two from just about anything. And as soon as we hit 75% health, arcane will procs and more than 300 additional DA shows up to the party. And we definitely have plenty of health.
Bottom line, here's the tradeoff. We'd gain about 1100 health and 420 DA if we dropped those points in physique. In spirit, they boost our magical damage by about 400% instead. Given our plentiful health, we don't need the durability boost... and given our really good overall damage resistance and health regen, I don't think we need the DA either. Damage, on the other hand, never goes out of season and there's no such thing as too much.

• Why Korvaak?

I know that I could have structured the devotions to go for abomination instead, which does offer more DPS when procs are active... but I went for Korvaak instead for a few reasons. First: it also allows me to pick up the first point in Aeon's hourglass, which is great stats. Second: Korvaak offers substantially more health. Having a huge health pool makes the % healing from blood of dreeg better. And third: those devotion setups are very 'tight'. There's no room for diversions like the points I put into wendingo, and things get even tighter if you want behemoth and giant's blood. Something always gets sacrificed. Korvaak, by contrast, is only 3 points of primordial past what you were getting already for broken god - and you easily pick up the first 10 eldritch with constellations that you're making really good use of on their own merits. This makes it easy to reach.

• If Korvaak, and if we love crits, why not Korvaak's activatable?

I've tried to fit it in - I really have. I tried switching spider for Raven... no dice; once skill points are redistributed to keep cast speed high enough (need 190% to get to 200% with broken god proc but not standing in circle), that actually costs OA - more than the activatable can offset. And creates other minor stat losses. I've thought about taking a point away from Wendigo - but that also costs OA by the same logic as previously, since I'm losing 5% total speed, and it also cuts my run speed - which means I'd have to switch back to mark of mogdrogen on boots, costing some armor. And it cuts DA too, I guess.
In short: it SOUNDS great, especially since I've got devastation ready as a platform to launch it, but I just can't make the math work out.

• Why manticore?

The alternative to manticore, from a RR perspective, is Revenant. And I don't think there's anything wrong with using Revenant instead! It has a stronger proc on balance, and offers some cast speed. Resistance buffs are comparable, and could be rebalanced with slight augment changes. Health buffs are comparable. But doing so would mean losing 4% physical resistance, and some OA. I like the phys resist.

• Why not mythical aetherreach instead of doomtouch?

Because my Mythical Aetherreaches are being used on other Aether Ray builds, which make even better use of them. If I find another one, you can bet I'll use it.
Or... perhaps not? Fangs of Astarkan is supposed to bring the ability to upgrade epics into legendaries, right? I wonder how mythical Doomtouch will upgrade...
So - there you have it! This is my second endgame build, and second aether ray build. It may be there are some things I can do better, it may be that seeing this inspires you to your own chaotic aether ray creations! Whatever your thoughts, I'd love to hear them.
