I've got everything it takes to be a good friend. Kind ear and shoulder to cry on, an easy going person that gets along with most people well enough, and a sense of humor so hilarious that my cat has not once complained about my jokes!
A few things that I like:

• Movies - mostly horror, and comedy
• Pets - feel free to spam me with pictures of your pets, tell me about what their original name was and what the evolution to their current nick name was, talk about their personality quirks, etc

I've been a student of The Divine Science School for over a decade, and have seen all manner of criticisms and strange stories filled with exaggerations and flights of fancy over the years.
Even to the point of a few spectacularly obsessive folks making their own blog sites to troll the teachers and the school itself.
I personally, I am not an blind apologist for the school. It isn't perfect. Far from it, actually. But how could any modern school of spirituality that has several long chain transmission teachings and short chain transmission teachings, syncretized in a way to offer the most effective route for spiritual evolution be perfect?
How could any spiritual teacher, whether they merely be an initiate, or a widely recognized spiritual master be perfect? The whole premise is pretty funny to begin with. For if anyone is seeking a perfect spirituality teacher, free of any defects or or vices, then the student would certainly would have to be perfect themselves. I am far from perfect, and it would be absurd for me to think that it is reasonable to seek out a perfect teacher.
Us humans are messy creatures. We are hopelessly and hilarious emotional beings. Almost all humans struggle with our physical, psychological and emotional health due to all of the stresses and poisons of modern life. We constantly choose to cultivate death, instead of cultivating life, as the great Wang Chongyang suggested. Almost all of us are exclusively self centered and some are even infinitely, hopelessly selfish.
Most folks, if they find themselves in this weird little corner of the internet searching on reddit about the occult, are likely doing so because they are searching for methods. Methods for spiritual evolution, perhaps? Self realization? Perhaps power?
Who knows. But the folks of The Divine Science School are comprised of humans that for some reason or the other ended up there because of some level of having a desire for the truth. Whether it be the teachers, students, initiates or otherwise, everyone that has ever found their way to TDS had been seeking some level of truth. But along the way, they found that the spiritual path is messy. That it is often heart breaking, gut wrenching. Full of struggle, disappointments, fighting, gossip, apathy, betrayal, accusations and endless bad behavior. So, many people that found their way to TDS, after seeing this, decided that this was no place for a reasonable person to be.
Sure, I've thought the same myself countless times. For many years. But the weird thing is, these things are not exclusive to TDS. These themes present themselves in every spiritual school that I have been apart of or ever heard of. So, the question really is, which side of the fence is grass the greenest? The other side of the fence? Or your side of the fence, if you water it?
There are folks for whom the spiritual practices either didn't work, didn't work as well as they had liked, or who even claim that they were harmed by the practices. Sure, anything is possible. But I've read the majority of these accounts, and these writers never seem to take any responsibility or explain what they did wrong. Painting yourself as a blameless victim of being harmed by things like internal alchemy, standing postures, or any other type of energy work is embarrassing at least.
So, these folks move on and seek out other groups or online sources to seek out more techniques and methods. Never understanding no amount of collecting spiritual practices like any nick knack will really help you much unless you by some small miracle end up developing an overwhelming desire for the truth.
The simple reality is that students of The Divine Science School are there because they are there in the pursuit of self realization. To study Platonism, and the philosophy of his successors. So engage in daily spiritual practice. To live a life of virtue that might lead to "eudaimonia." To aspire, after many years of hard work and cultivation, to be initiated into the mysteries and learn Theurgy.
I have no interest in naming any names or defending any fanciful allegations or any strange angry insults.
If anyone has reasonable, well spoken concerns about The Divine Science School, I will do my best to answer them reasonably. I am not any sort of "official representative" of the school in any way.

In 2007, Jim Samples, then executive vp and general manager of Cartoon Network, abruptly resigned following the Boston bomb scare scandal related to the Aqua Teen Hunger Force movie. A few months later, Turner Broadcasting named Stuart Snyder president and COO of Animation, Young Adults, and Kids Media. The newly created position included oversight of Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, and Boomerang.
Snyder's reign at CN would last from 2007-2014, and among Cartoon Network fans, his tenure at the channel is seen as very much a mixed bag. On the one hand, he green lit some of the network's most innovative and boundary pushing shows in its history. On the other, he was infamous for moving the network towards reality TV. But for all his faults, I think Stuart Snyder mostly had the right idea for Cartoon Network, and was able to keep it successful in the face of a changing tv environment.
To understand what Snyder was trying to do for CN, you have to understand the kids tv landscape at the time. Nickelodeon and Disney Channel were seeing incredible success with live-action tween sitcoms and movies geared towards 9 to 11 year old girls with shows like iCarly, Hannah Montana, Naked Brothers Band, and High School Musical. These cash-cow franchises dominated much of the children's entertainment zightgiest in the late 2000s, and Cartoon Network needed a way to stay relevant in a kids tv environment dominated by tween girls. Snyder's solution? Target their older brothers.
Rather than compete with Nick and Disney directly, CN instead opted to court slightly older, mostly male viewers. Both with edgier comedies like The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack and Total Drama Island, as well as darker action-adventure shows like Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Ben 10 Alien Force. The goal was to draw in more 12-14 year old kids, while still appealing to its core 6-11 year old audience, knowing that kids want to watch what the older kids are watching. And on the animated side, this worked. Total Drama and Star Wars were among the network's highest rated shows, and it showed that Snyder's era of CN was off to a decent start.
Where it didn't work however, was with the controversial decision to move into live-action. Yes, we can't talk about Stuart Snyder's Cartoon Network, without talking about the real-life elephant in the room known as CN Real. Now in my opinion. Live-Action shows on Cartoon Network... isn't necessarily a bad idea (Put your pitch forks down and listen). There is a way to make it work, just look at channel-mate Adult Swim, who managed to make live-action work for them by making those shows as bizarre and nonsensical as their animated stuff.
In the same way, Cartoon Network could've made a decent foray into live-action if the shows were compatible with the animated lineup. Plus, if Snyder wanted to appeal to the young teen audience, then having live-action was kind of a necessity. Problem is, if Snyder was going to start putting live-action on Cartoon Network... Reality TV was by far the WORST possible genre he could've chosen to start with. Because most of the CN Real shows were just watered down kids' versions of other reality shows. Kids don't watch CN to see more of the same shit they could get on other channels. Kids always turned to Cartoon Network to get away from reality, to see things that couldn't be done in real life. So yeah, it's no wonder CN Real failed.
Thing is, Cartoon Network a few, much better live-action shows that aired after that disaster such as Unnatural History and Tower Prep, and it makes me wonder, why didn't Snyder start with these shows? They weren't cartoons, but they were fantastical and special-effects heavy enough that they fit in with the animated lineup just fine. But by that point, the damage of CN Real had already been done, and people were disgusted with the idea of any live-action show on Cartoon Network. Snyder of course, got the memo, and refocused the channel back towards edgy animation in 2010, with the one-two punch of Adventure Time and Regular Show.
I think Stuart Snyder had the right ideas with Cartoon Network. Broadening out to an elusive audience that wasn't being served by Nick or Disney, focusing on edgier programing, and trying to create a diverse range of shows. I think he just really bungled the execution on some of these plans. For better or worse, Stuart Snyder's regime at Cartoon Network was kind of a wild ride.

FTR vs. Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta: All out, non-stop time limit draw. In fairness I had problems picking the winner for this one, so sure enough no one won. This match exceeded expectations, although it did appear Yuta missed a flying head scissors and landed on his head without stoppage. FTR is way more athletic and modern than they claim. There's just no way Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard, The Midnight Express, or The Hart Foundation could pull off so many highspots and moves at such a breakneck speed. I dare say The British Bulldogs and The Rockers could, though. So this has always been something weird about FTR pitching itself has the throwback, slower paced masters of tag team rasslin'. But the bottom line is that they indeed the best modern tag team, The Young Bucks WON Tag Team of the Year Awards be damned. This match really had it all. I really think it had more sequences and moves in it than decades of tag matches from the 20th century. Brandon Cutler preventing 5 more minutes and then getting beat up was a great way to end the segment. Nice touch.

Dustin Rhodes vs. Johnny TV: I have always seen Johnny TV as a poor man's RVD, so trying to work a stooge heel style isn't a good fit. He should been named Johnny Dynamite, too. Then again with his win/loss record and loss to a part time veteran, perhaps Johnny Jobber is more apt. Dustin worked hard in this match. I wish he was on AEW TV more, especially since his brother is touted as being the biggest draw in wrestling. Why not try and get a stray viewer to see Cody's older brother? He cut a memorable promo challenging Jack Perry in the TNT title tournament although Dustin has about a 0% chance of winning. Dustin was remixing his daddy's Hard Times promo with mixed results.
Dante Leon & Trip Jordy vs. Ariya Daivari & Tony Nese: Fast squash much to the relief of the audience. Good note by Nigel McGuiness stating that not everyone is qualified to become professional wrestlers.
Daniel Garcia vs. Tate Mayfairs: Garcia looked good here. Nigel hyped Tate too much, boasting about his 30-minute classic with Will Ospreay and other accolades. Mayfairs looks like Nick Wayne and has Brian Christopher's mannerisms. So much for Nigel's advice about how some wrestlers don't have a look to be in the biz. Straight job- not sure why Tate thought this was a good idea to spread his legacy.
Toni Storm vs. Lady Frost: I am not as high with the Timeless gimmick as WON voters or most of the smarks. However I will readily admit this is the highlight of Toni's career and the women's division revolves around her. Her match quality finally hit 2nd gear starting with her match with AZM. Frost has interesting gymnastic spots. Luther seems to be getting jealous or upset with May or Storm. BTW I'm not sure why Bryan Alvarez doesn't get if Toni Storm is a babyface or heel. She's a delusional, narcistic heel who thinks she ought to be cheered. Pretty simple. Maybe if she was a dude (Gorgeous George) it would be more clear to Bryan.
Orange Cassidy vs. Kyle O'Reilly: In his pre-match promo, Orange seemed like he would be more aggressive since he is alone now, but he started the match with his standard comedy spots. O'Reilly has eaten to many clean loses since his return (and against babyfaces) that it's hard to be invested in his confused babyface character and possible Undisputed Kingdom membership. Where is Adam Cole BTW? This was a well-wrestled match, although it ran longer than the opening tag draw, which was much more exciting. Orange Cassidy is the most underrated seller in the biz (along with Riho). Great technical match. Good post-match with Kyle and Willow saving Orange.
Misc: Not sold on Scorpio Sky's latest career restart. Seems like he's trying out a Bo Dallas BO-Lieve gimmick...Samoa Joe is acting like HOOK's dad. His turn will break HOOK's heart...Video packages were good...Lexi Nair is cool...I felt the storylines and continuity were good setting up Wednesday, Forbidden Door, and Owen Cup.

Hello!! I will try to make this quick in asking for help. I try not talking about my sexuality or gender with people much, but I really do need help. I will try to explain how I feel and give a list on flags I think describe me and how I think. (Somewhat simplified version will be at the bottom!)

[Introduction]: In recent time (days, weeks, months) I have began questioning my gender identity and sexual orientation. I do not usually feel comfortable sharing details of my own life experiences and situations, but I need guidance this time. I am not sure if any of the genders or sexualities mentioned above contradict any other gender or sexuality mentioned as well, which is why I need help. I won't disclose much of my information that I don't deem necessary, but I will say that I am below the age of 18, afab (a female at birth), in middle school, and not quite used to all the new different gender identities and sexual orientations (of course, that doesn't mean I am opposed to them, nor do I not accept them).
[Explanation of my Crisis (Gender)]: I am most confused with my gender, rather than my sexuality. And for that, I split up the categories of the Explanation of my Crisis into two parts, this being part one: Gender. I quite frankly don't care if I am percieved as something other than a female, which is my sex. Ever since around age 11 to 13 (as of what I can recall), I have been called the varying amount of pronouns. Well, not really 'varying' as most people (at my school) only know They/Them, She/Her, and He/Him pronouns, and not much else. I will make one thing clear: I am not afraid of who I am, just confused. Most of my life, I have been surrounded with cisgender, heterosexual, and gender-conforming people (family and school), so I rarely really questioned myself, if at all. But once meeting my current friends, who are a variety of sexualities and genders, I have become more and more confused of myself.

[Explanation of my Crisis (Gender) - Story]: Two of my friends (that I was in contact with at the time) are FtM (transgender - Female transitioning to Male), and I of course loved and supported them because they are my friends. (We will call the first one Z and the second one F). I knew F before I knew Z, and they both knew eachother in a previous school (as far as I know), and had a father-son kind of relationship for whatever reason. F, however, had been dating my friend (C) since the year prior, and so, considering we knew eachother a bit and knew (C), we bonded and became close friends. I would call F by his preferred pronouns, though sometimes got confused as he would respond to feminine and non-masculine pronouns and/or (nick)names. I asked him why he didn't mind considering he was FtM, to which he responded that he doesn't really care. I also would, unfortunately, deadname him (I) instead of the preferred name, F. I would always correct myself, however, and apologize quickly, even if he didn't mind. Anyways, all that is to say that both Z and F got me thinking the most about my gender, seeing as they were both constantly deadnamed, whether on accident or on purpose (they both weren't exactly open with their gender, though), and didn't seem to care, while still only really feeling male.*
[Explanation of my Crisis (Sexuality)]: My sexuality is the one I am more comfortable in talking about. I know I am attracted to men, for sure, and women. Though, I really wouldn't mind being with anyone romantically nor sexually, as long as I loved them. I just have more of a preference for men, masculine women, or masculine-presenting non-binary people (or masculine-presenting other genders/not gendered people). In my eyes and my view, I see myself more attracted to men, whether transgender men or cisgender men, or any other type of men I might not know of. I would not say, however, that I have a preference on how said masc-presenting individual dresses, unless it is tied on what makes them masculine/male-looking. (I am aware there isn't a way to look like a man, and that it is a social construct(?) that should have another word to use instead. It is just hard to find any other way to phrase it). I enjoy all types of men or masculine-presenting individuals, whether wearing traditionally male clothing, traditionally female clothing, or non-gender conforming clothing that is either a mix of both or not at all. All I know is that I am a 'male enjoy-er' (as of now).
[Explanation of my Crisis (Simplified - Gender)]: I don't know my gender as of now, and just need help figuring it out. I don't care for many of the pronouns that are possible and out to be used to refer to me.
[Explanation of my Crisis (Simplified - Sexuality)]: All I know is that I will love my partner no matter gender or identity, and that I lean more towards men and masculine-presenting individuals.
