One of their friends suggested they to focus on a single project and they chose JotBot — an AI essay generator that used writing samples to write like you which they built in a week.
Due to the nature and target Audience of the project, the most obvious marketing channel to go with is Titkok and they did the same. Committed to posting 6–10 short-form videos, every single day, on 3 platforms (Reels, TikTok, Shorts), advertising our product, but nothing worked.
After a lot of failed short-form content, they had a fun idea to get a super long and specific URL like ‘idontwanttodomyessay .com‘ and redirect it to their site, and it worked like a charm.
Here are some of their Tiktok templates (3.2m, 10m, 8.9m) which worked for them, they remade it, it worked again and even other products copied it and it worked for them too (you can use them too).
This pushed them to $25k MRR, but they didn’t want to look like a cheating app that students used and forgot about. Recently they pivoted again to a Research copilot and again with the same set of template with some changes pushing the MRR to $50k.
TikTok is a great marketing channel for B2C products, Trendy and Shareable Products. In the Umax story that we shared last week ($6m ARR), Tiktok was one of their main marketing channel too.

Okay, so we are going to be publishing an annual anthology in a limited edition of 500 hardcover copies, with the stories, poems and other art/writing to be taken from several different communities and from different prompted opportunities, one of which will be the monthly contest winners from our brand new contest!

So here is my take on Mother’s Day at my mother’s COC. It’s been quite a while since I stepped foot in a COC and I have been attending a non-denominational church for the last two years.
Mother’s Day is a day when there are a lot of guests. As I sat there, I pretended that I was a first time visitor that knew nothing about the COC. It struck me that the entire service is just a self-serving ceremony for the regular members. If I were a true non-Christian visitor, I would’ve had no idea what was going on. First of all, we sang some really sad, slow songs. Mostly sitting down. And then there was a scripture reading that was about half a chapter long from Exodus….still sitting. It was read in the most monotone voice possible with no meaning or emphasis behind any of the words. Meanwhile, everybody was thumbing through their Bibles and digging for gum in their purses. The sermon absolutely made no sense. He was jumping all around about all of the life events of Moses and assuming that we knew all the stories. Was it about mothers? Sort of? I still don’t understand what the entire point of the sermon was. It was all over the place.
The Lord supper was neither explained, nor given the respect and reverence it deserves. At my non-denom church, we are encouraged to repent of any sins that we need to repent of before we partake. And then we all take the elements and wait for everyone and take it together. This was a free for all and some old dude just got up and mumbled a rote prayer.
They must have chosen the very worst song leader they have in the entire congregation. Every song was a dirge, and I am not kidding. They sang “I walk in the garden alone”….a song I didn’t connect with 50 years ago. I have never walked with God in the garden and conversed with him. 😂. I saw not one smile. Nobody looked up from their song books, even though I know they have sang these songs 6000 times. It was the saddest thing I’ve ever experienced. Why are they still singing the same songs that have been sung for the last 100 years? Are there no composers anywhere in the church of Christ that could write new hymns with words that mean something to today’s congregants?
The invitation was a mumbled statement they always make about how if you would like to be baptized to come up front during the last dirge. (Baptism? Why? When? What for? )That was it. That was it. Worst invite EVER. No explanation. If they were giving a bougie party at the Ritz Hotel, literally it was like they said “there’s a gathering at the hotel down the street if you want yo join.” My parents keep bragging about how their church is “growing“, but I think that the churches of Christ are just shifting around members from one congregation to another. I do not for the life of me understand why any new Christian would ever find in this type of church and want to be a part of it.
My last impression was that I think 99.9% of church of Christ preachers never listen to a sermon given by anybody outside of the brotherhood. Why would they? Because any sermon given by anybody else is not the “truth“. But their their style of preaching is so hard to follow and not meaningful and very self-serving. They assume everyone has a solid background in Biblical theology. It’s like they don’t even want to try to be more effective or teach the unsaved.

An empty/outlined column is where previously reported numbers have been removed with this week's update. * These graphs were put together by using a multitude of resources spanning from the Washington State Department of Health all the way to the CDC and National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN). I had an “unbiased, anonymous” exit interview today with a Hr consultant after resigning from a terrible job with loads of harassment from my boss. I searched him on LinkedIn and he used to work with the CEO…
He asked the most inappropriate questions. I know HR are slimy and never to trust but far out the audacity!! He asked if I had I ever experienced mental health before… did I get another job, he brought up my inbox sent items being cleared when they got access… clearly not an exit interview but a line of questioning to cover their asses because I have a 100% legit work cover claim and they are beside themselves.

Notes on Data and Limitations:
As of May 1st hospitals are not required to report hospitalizations due to COVID-19, RSV, or Flu. This means everything presented here is underrepresented. * In this post I provide alternative visualizations for the overall weekly disease activity and reporting on weekly confirmed case positives, emergency department (ED) visits, new hospitalizations, total inpatients/occupied hospital beds, and confirmed deaths. Additionally I provide changes in COVID-19 activity due to backfill. * Trends are calculated based on the % change in the totals for the most recent week of data compared to the second most recent. This differs from the state's trend % as they are doing a % change of a percent. * Columns with a bright bar are the new additions for this week's report. Darker bars are counts from previously published reports. An empty/outlined column is where previously reported numbers have been removed with this week's update. * These graphs were put together by using a multitude of resources spanning from the Washington State Department of Health all the way to the CDC and National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN). All of these state and federal reports use the standardized Sunday-Saturday 7-day definition. * All numbers except for cases and deaths are a reflection of 'healthcare encounters' and not representative of individuals nor of residence. Total weekly counts are extrapolated by applying the state's weekly hospitalizations to the NHSN's reporting of hospitalizations, bed occupancy, and icu occupancy due to all causes. Beds occupied as a weekly average are multiplied by 7 days to get to total beds occupied. * A COVID-19, Influenza, or RSV death is only counted by the state if data is complete (cause of death is attributed to the disease *and** there is an associated laboratory positive test with no period of complete recovery between illness and death). The only exception is that RSV does not need a test, only that it is indicated as cause on the death certificate.

I don't think I speak for the majority of this subreddit but I have been encountering a lot more "agency owners" who fell into the YouTube guru trap and instead of actually getting free certifications from platforms, they give away all their money to those gurus.
This post is my attempt to stear those people into the right direction before spending all of their money.
Whenever a new "agency owner" (or someone looking to start an agency) asks me about where to start for learning ads (doesn't matter which platform, Google, Facebook, etc), they seem dumbfounded when I tell them that Google and Meta have FREE ad courses where they teach you how to run ads on their own platform AND you get a certification from Google and Meta.
Why does everyone immediately jump to YouTube and start giving these gurus their money without even taking the free courses and getting certified?
I think one of the biggest issues I have with wannabe agency owners is they want to own and operate an agency and are willing to "learn" what it takes to own a successful agency, but when I tell them what it takes is actually learning how to perform the service you sell, it falls on deaf ears.
I'll tell you this right now, if you're not actually willing to learn and become an expert in the service you're selling, you're not going to make it. You're going to be another one of the thousands of people who gave a YouTube guru money with the hopes of one day being a millionaire only to eventually turn to crypto day trading scams.
And just to show that I'm not only just ranting... here...

Lastly, I'll say that there is a time and place for paid courses from other agency owners and experienced coaches. But AFTER you do the research yourself and take some basic-level free certifications from actual platforms.
Creator courses are fine if you're looking to get deeper information but there isn't a need to start there.
One thing paid creator courses can teach you is how to run an agency from a business perspective. But 9x out of 10, executing the actual ads can be found in free courses.

Hello everyone. I recently joined GenderGP and received my treatment recommendation for testosterone enanthate. I hope it progresses smoothly, but I haven't experienced any major hiccups.
Considering that this is my first prescription request, I need to supply blood test results to receive my medication. I have heard of a few ways to obtain these results, including private routes with GenderGP.
Do GPs typically accept the medication recommendation as a valid reference point to conduct blood tests? I researched the Healthy Hormones knowledge base and found a 'Referral Letter to Doctor for Blood Tests' template. I am unsure if this template should be utilised by patients, however.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! I wish to avoid as many pitfalls as possible, so please feel free to offer your experiences regarding this process. Have a wonderful day, everyone. :]

I want to study for the certificate, but when I google for study materials, all of them are paid , or have a free trial for a bit but then you need to pay. Youtube videos are about "how I passed in X days/weeks", and not courses or study materials themselves. Is there a way to study for the certificate for free?

Hi everyone! I’m a current veterinary student entering my second year and now that we are on summer break, I wanted to see if anyone had suggestions on certificates I could do! I would prefer for them to be self-pased. I am interested in emergency med and oncology!
I do have a student membership with VIN, but really wasn’t sure where to start with this process and what would be free or reduced for students. If it helps at all, next semester we are taking microbiology and parasitology if you all have specific recommendations regarding those.

Hi all,
I'm a pretty extensive Amazon user here in Japan, and I often get these little chits with my products that say something like 'give us a 5 star review and we'll give you a 1,000 yen gift certificate' or something like that. I think anyone who has used Amazon enough will have gotten these (usually from Chinese distributors). I usually just chuck these and don't give them a second thought, but now I'm thinking hey, this is basically free money. Still, I hate the idea even more of leaving fake reviews (that must be 5 stars) for incentives.
Here's a pic I took of one including its Google translation to English.
At first these people really pissed me off and I wanted to report them immediately. Then I thought hmm... what if I give them the 5 star review, then email them my screenshot, receive my gift certificate and use it, and then edit my review to be my real rating and also post about their little scam. I mean, in that way, I could punish them even more by taking money away and getting them reprimanded.
Then I looked into this because I thought surely I'm not the first person to think of this. Then I found other threads like this one and this one and I'm sure there are dozens of others on reddit. Basically, the gist that I got was that it's against the Amazon terms of service to be compensated for a review, so doing the strategy of '5 star > get gift certificate > 1 star edit' could get your account banned (and has for other redditors). So anyway, that seemed out of the question for me. Then I read several cynical views of people pointing out (correctly so), that Amazon generally benefits from having sellers and highly rated products so people buy more, and often they screw over the customer rather than the distributor. And also things like distributors can easily get negative reviews taken down, or even posting about the gift certificates could get your reprimanded as it's not part of the 'actual product' kind of thing.
All of this has just made me fairly pessimistic about the whole thing - not even cashing in and editing reviews from 5 star reviews, but just taking any action against the sellers altogether.
Has anyone thought about this kind of thing or taken action? Has anyone reported sellers before, or had negative reviews taken down from Amazon or the seller or something? Do some people just cash in and just shut up about it?
I don't know, I'd rather do the 'right thing' than just get a few thousand yen. Whole situation just kind of disappoints me.
