Missile Operator Mode and Power Distribution (via MFD or hotkeys) are currently bugged. As there is a free flight coming up, and the Cutlass Black is a very popular multi-crew introduction ship, I'm trying to draw attention to it before or at least during the free flight.
Selfishly, I'm hosting several friends to re-visit SC since our last odyssey in 3.17. The Co-Pilot seat doesn't offer much, but the two functions it normally offers are bugged. I had planned an agenda that shows folk content in this co-pilot seat.
I know Manufacturer specific HUD and UI elements are forthcoming - I think we can safely presume fixes and features are present in that development endeavor - but I think it's worthwhile to draw attention to a buggy co-pilot seat that will leave a sour taste in lots of free-trial and new citizen's mouths.

So i went to a show at a venue (colorado, usa) and was having a pretty good time until security got a power trip with those moshing and singled me out and kicked me out. Which i was fine with but i had left my jacket inside and the security knew and were looking for it. So as im trying to walk towards my car a security keeps pushing me and preventing me from walking towardsvthe direction i was going. I pulled out my phone and started recording in said recording you can vaguely see me get pushed than as i stand up and proceed to tell them im on the sidewalk amd im free to move they grab my arm and try to get me to the ground or move me forcefully. You than see the footage hit the ground and hear me say "let me go" the staff than proceeds to grab my phone and slam it on the ground in my opinion to try and destroy evidence. When u tried to recover my phone they all came after me and held me down and the proceeded to take my phone again. And deleted the footage afterwards. I then called the cops and tried to explain what had happened and tried showing them the video they denied me that and instead gave me the ultimatum "complain about your phone or go to jail" i took jail... anyways im trying to see how well all of this will hold up in court ? Whats the legal limit and authorization of force of a security guard the damges to my phone and the injuries i sustained

So I've been a big Bioshock series fan since I was little but recently I've been looking into moding Bioshock 1 & 2, but I'm unable to figure out the proper way to do this. I’m creating this post to assist newcomers in setting up HDR support on Linux using Plasma 6. I’ve encountered partial and use-case answers, and the wiki isn’t exactly coherent. - The commands provided assume you are using Manjaro or at least Arch. These distributions are known to be excellent for gaming until SteamOS 3 is generally released.
- If you’re using a different distribution (e.g., Ubuntu), adapt the commands accordingly. For instance, replace pacman -Syu with sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade -y.
- Be proactive but ask for help if you can't find your distros equivalent.

- Go to Settings > Colors and Themes > Login Screen (SDDM) > Behavior (top right).
- Set Auto Login to use Wayland.
- Restart your system. (There might be alternative methods; feel free to comment if you know one!)
- Driver Caution:
- Switching to Wayland may break your drivers.
- If so, run the following commands and restart: sudo mhwd --remove pci video-nvidia && sudo mhwd -i pci video-nvidia
- Enable HDR:
- Now that you’re using Wayland with fresh drivers, the HDR option should appear. Refer to step 1.
- Change settings one at a time or it may not apply correctly (e.g., 1080p > apply > 120Hz > apply > HDR on > apply). KDE can be quirky like that.
- Install Gamescope:
- To get Steam games running in HDR, you’ll need Gamescope.
- Install Gamescope with the following command: sudo pacman -Syu && sudo pacman -S gamescope
- Enable Steam integration: gamescope -e -- steam
- Steam Launch Options:
- Add launch options for the game you want HDR in.
- For 1080p@120Hz, the launch option might look like: gamescope -W 1920 -H 1080 -r 120 --hdr-enabled -- %command%
- gamescope specifies the use of Gamescope.
- The custom resolution and refresh rate are necessary (there’s a reason, but I forgot!).
- Ensure HDR is enabled in the launch options; otherwise, it won’t work.
- Testing HDR:
- After completing the steps above, HDR should work in your game.
- Keep in mind that the Steam UI will probably be very glitchy at this point. Patience and deep breaths are essential.
- I tested it with Horizon Forbidden West, and it worked phenomenally once I was in the game.
- Returning to X11 for Compatibility and Comfort:
- Repeat Step 2, choosing X11 instead of Wayland.
- Remove launch options.
- Voilà, we’re back to square one!
- Using Wayland affects Steam significantly:
- The store page becomes unusable.
- The big picture menu (home, settings, etc.) is almost completely broken.
- You can still navigate with some guesswork.
- Wayland resets display settings on every power-on:
- Re-enable HDR.
- Set resolution (if you have a 4K screen, playing in 1080p might result in a tiny box if the desktop resolution is set to 4K).
- Often restart Steam before launching anything.

Hi Guys, not sure if this is the place to ask this, but I will try anyway :)
After starting my small business on TikTok shop, I reached out to a few small creators. I was successful with most creators, but one person still has not posted any content after receiving their free sample.
They accepted my offer to collaborate via messages, and requested their choice of product as a free sample via TikTok affiliate. I messaged them a day after this was delivered to check delivery went okay and that they have the product, to which they responded yes, and that they would be making a video soon.
2 weeks have now passed and I contacted them at the start of this week to ask if they were still okay to make a video, and also let them know that I hoped that everything was okay. I haven't received a response to this yet and I am concerned they wont respond at all now.
I just wanted to know if anyone knew what the rules were around this, or whether there was a certain amount of time that the creator should post content in. I am unsure on what to do now, do I just accept the loss at this point? Or is it still too early to say.
I am new to this and have never had this happen so far, so please excuse if I don't know what I'm talking about :D
