Auto duty pro

Hello,
I bought about ten days ago a 130k miles 2019 highlander hybrid platinum.
It seems to be in (mostly) perfect shape and I bet it's been doing only highway. This car will be a big change from my 2006 durango I've been owning/fixing for the last five years.
So far we love it.
I have a few questions for y'all.

1. Even though it's branded as AWD, I don't see any AWD related button/control/screen. Is that normal ? I was expecting to take it a couple of time on a beach or on snow. Nothing crazy, but still... I'm worried now. Does it have different capabilities than the rest of the line ?
2. The 110v power outlet provides only 100W. what ? I thought a hybrid would have a decent sized inverter and would allow my passenger to use a laptop while charging a camping fridge and charging my drone/camera batteries. Here, even my surface pro keeps tripping the protection, I don't get a constant charge. Is it easy to change/upgrade/replace ? Anyone done that ?
3. As I'm typing this I'm trying the AC on battery. Looks like once the battery is on two bars left, it triggers the motor, which charges up to the 3rd bar, then it stops. One bar charging takes about 3min20s. And AC lasts for about 17min. (set to 72f, outside its about 86f) Does that look right to you ? I've read many times I should expect 30min of AC, then about 1.5min of motor.
4. Anyone replaced his head unit with a chinese stuff from Amazon ? I'm interested in "long term" feedbacks. Also I was wondering, what features are lost using these ? Does it bring any "new" feature ? (more insights on the car or something ?)
5. Anyone bought some heavy duty roof rails ? (not a rack but rails) I'll be looking at using my rooftop tent for a few trips. I need to find rails that can sustain some weihght.
6. How does one test the hybrid battery health ? Is that something a toyota dealership can do ? Any idea how much that'd cost ?

Hezký den a zdravím všechny. V ČR žiju teprve měsíc a na vjezdu do Rakovníka mě vyfotila kamera, objevily se mi SPZ, protože jsem jel o 4km/h víc než povolených 50. Auto má srbské SPZ. Chtěl jsem vás požádat, abyste mi řekl, kde si mohu ověřit, zda jsem byl potrestán nebo ne. Je nějaká stránka, kde můžu zadat své SPZ a podívat se, jestli je někde pro mě pokuta a samozřejmě ji jít zaplatit. Normálně jsem opatrný řidič a řídím malé auto, ale stalo se to. Apologies, I'm going nuts trying to google all of this, and figured I should ask the brain trust. My ideal setup:
Surface Pro 9 as a main note-taking machine, mostly with pen. Don't care much about draw-to-text, but to-do lists would be nice. Automatically sync by OneDrive or DropBox across 4 machines.
It would be cool to set up a page template that, when opened, simply titles itself with the date. Graph paper background.
I'll have one master notebook for work, to a folder with daily meeting notes (the auto-dated sheets), and another set of special meeting notes that I'll title myself (vendors, customer, etc.). One page within OneNote that I can keep handy that has an overview of current project status would be awesome.
This seems like it should all be doable, but I'm new to OneNote and there's a bit of a learning curve. Thanks

I'm a first time buyer. Me and my wife are planning to live in a Skoolie (short bus or long bus) or a high roof extended van for 6 months of the year (in the summer). We can both work fully remote.
We would prefer to buy something that is ready built and make customisations as we go. We both have very little DIY/power tool experience so we would like to see how we get on making changes before committing to building something from scratch.
Our budget is 25-30k USD. We are not looking for "Instagram luxury". Just something that is comfortable, light and airy.
Main requirements:

We enjoy hiking in mountains so the vehicle has to be capable of driving up and down steep inclines. This has somewhat put me off buying a long bus with a lot of weight as I'm not sure if it would be suitable for these types of roads in the heat. I can only drive auto transmission. I'm a confident driver, however I have no experience driving larger vehicles. So a short bus or a van seems more realistic. I'm 6ft and my partner is 5.4ft.
Shortlist so far (within budget):
1992 International/Thomas bus - fully converted with 36,938 miles. Six cylinder International diesel/ Build looks amazing and it has so much space. Main concern is the weight and driving it on steep inclines. 31.5’ bumper to bumper 236” wheelbase 8’ wide 10’10” tall.
1991 Blue Bird bus - gorgeous bus. Looks pretty unique so might have re-sale value. Converted into a store so it has a nice open layout and furniture. Would leave me with little room in budget to add living requirements. Other concern is the 248k miles.
2002 Ford e450 skoolie - 7.3L powerstroke diesel. 185k miles on it. Fully converted to a high standard. Only problem is that it's designed for someone who is 5.9ft. So I won't be buying this one but I'm looking for other e450s as I've heard the 7.3L powerstroke diesel engine is reliable and the interior has enough space for what we want.
Alternatives: Dodge Sprinter 3500 (2008), Ford Transit 350 (2017), Ram ProMaster 3500 (2017-18)
Buses are more expensive to maintain and are less fuel efficient. The main benefit vs. a van is the space. If I can realistically drive on mountains roads then I'm all for getting a bus.
Any recommendations or feedback is much appreciated!

Just picked up the Mars 4 Ultra last week and have been learning the ways of resin printing. I have about 5ish years FDM printing, but this is very different! I'm enjoying everything so far, getting a great spot setup to stay clean and dry. I picked up some foam brushes to wipe the prints with 99% IPA and a few containers and the AnyCubic Wash and Cure 3. Also using a large ultrasonic cleaner with the IPA.
So far, I've only been using the Elegoo water washable resin as I figured water would be easiest to deal with. However, I quickly found that IPA is the winner here - the water wasn't really doing much. I read that IPA should be fine on this resin - but curious if the regular non-water washable stuff performs better? Wondering what you guys have found worked well. I plan to airbrush or paint my prints, so just using ceramic grey - colors not important.
Next question - which is actually what prompted me to make this post - Where can I find good files for free?
So far, i've had 5 absolutely flawless prints and then 1 failed print with a ton of auto supports (chitubox). I actually took a design and edited a few things in tinkercad and added some holes and measurements to my preference. This actually printed really well, I was surprised. However, I'm no pro at CAD, I just do basic shapes and straight lines (jigs, tools, etc...) I know there are so many niche websites for models, but I'm not particularly into war games models. They seem to be 90% of what people are using these things for. I don't personally have a "use case" I just wanted to get into resin printing. My 1 failed print was from thingiverse. All the supports printed around the modeI, but at the end It was just a lump stuck to the vat. Not sure if "regular" STL files are fine to use now?
I am extremely familiar with all the main sites (printables, thingiverse, thangs, cults3d, etc...). I know that models for resin are very particular about supports - so really trying to learn how to determine what is a "good" resin stl. I wish I could filter the main sites by "resin prints" as it seems to be hit or miss whether or not they will perform well. I know some come pre-supported and some are obviously just the object. It seems like auto-supports are just not there yet? Or maybe i'm doing something wrong.

Buongiorno, vivo da due anni in affitto in un bilocale con vecchi infissi in legno. Da un anno a questa parte nei mesi invernali e quando piove in casa si forma muffa sia sugli infissi che sulle pareti, e persino dentro l'armadio. La muffa si presenta anche in bagno, nonostante si arieggi sempre dopo la doccia.
Ho fatto presente più volte la situazione alla proprietaria e al proprietario (padre 85enne e figlia che segue solo ciò che dice il padre) ma non hanno nessuna intenzione di cambiare gli infissi, dicendo che è colpa mia che non arieggio (arieggio ogni giorno anche per due ore) e che con gli infissi nuovi non entra manco un filo d'aria (ma magari! Così di inverno non gelerei).
Oramai la porte finestra che dà sul terrazzo sta piano piano andando (la maniglia si è oramai rotta e una cerniera è difettosa, quindi si apre poco) e quindi oggi è venuto il fabbro che conoscono i proprietari a ripararla. Mentre andava a prendere la maniglia nuova il fabbro è passato dal proprietario a spiegare la situazione e il proprietario ha insinuato che abbia manomesso la cerniera della porta finestra della cucina per fare in modo che me la sostituissero! Ma siamo seri?
Ma a che pro avrei dovuto danneggiarla se tanto mi hanno sempre rifiutato il cambio infissi? Mi auto romperei le porte con il rischio di avere praticamente casa aperta? Inoltre, ho la stessa porta finestra anche in camera da letto che è perfettamente funzionante, semplicemente piena di muffa come l'altra.
Come posso muovermi? Non sarebbe dovere dei proprietari fare manutenzione dell'immobile? Gli infissi sono oramai fatiscenti e l'appartamento dà sul terrazzo, quindi non è nemmeno sicuro avere porte finestre che a malapena si chiudono.
Non so più dove sbattere la testa e vivere in mezzo alla muffa direi che non è proprio salubre.
Ci tengo a precisare che sono venuti a vedere la situazione 2 mesi fa, e sono rimasti leggermente interdetti solo per la muffa nell'armadio, dicendo che avrebbero verniciato con vernice antimuffa. Ad oggi non si sono ancora mossi. Per il resto la risposta è stata quella che ho dato prima: "Arieggi poco e con gli infissi nuovi l'aria non entra quindi non sono meglio di questi, l'aria deve entrare in casa"

So first the device only picked up 3 or the 4 fans so I reset it, unplugged it and reset CMOS. (device being commander core)
So now the screen has a triangle and the pump isn't showing (in ICUE it shows it as commander core not the screen anymore)
When I plug the device into the screen and pump in order for the pump to work (shows fan in BIOS working) is plug it in with the white opposites (not facing each other else the CPU overheats as the pump won't work...

For context I've used H pattern shifters in sims since the very first commercially available Act-Labs shifter in the early 2000s, the different Logitech G series offerings, the Thrustmaster TH8A, and for the last 5 years I've been using the Frex GP.
I have not owned but have used the Pro-Sim shifter at a local sim shop so I can draw comparisons to this unit as well.
Of the above mentioned if I had my choice budget not being in question I would certainly go for the Pro-Sim, it simply had the most satisfying two stage feel to the gear engagement (getting into neutral and then getting into gear) however, at over 3x the price of the Frex I just felt like it didn’t offer enough to justify the move. Frex also simulates the two stage feel through detents on the shaft that gets acted on by a spring ball plunger, however with the Pro-Sim this feeling is much more pronounced. I kept going back to the shop over the last few years picking up the odd piece of equipment and giving the Pro-Sim a row each time but at the end of the day I figured I'd hold out for something "active".
On the subject of "Well does it feel like getting into gear in a real car", having driven dozens of cars I don't recall any two that feel the same. The feeling has been anything from G25 like spongy and sloppy in a 2007 Accord, to a very mechanical sharp and direct feel of a Mk4 Golf, to everything else in between. I have never driven anything race prepped that is H pattern equipped but I've rowed through some gears at an auto show in a stock car and a touring car and these felt closer to what the Pro-Sim feels like vs road cars.
Naturally the next thing in the evolution of the shifter was some kind of feedback, something to take the simulation further and prevent getting into gear if you aren't doing the correct things. Frex did this a long time ago but ultimately it wasn’t realistic as it was a mechanical solution, you have to press the clutch to shift gear and in real life both synchromesh and dog boxes allow for shifting clutches with correct technique.
On to the Bash Pro.
Construction is solid and the unit is heavy. The only nonmetal bits are what I'd call the dust guard, buttons and electronics housing frame components that are not stressed in any way. I wish the dust guard bit was polished in some way so you do not see the obvious 3d printer markings, same can be said for the other 3d printed bits, but hey if this shaved off some decent dollars from construction cost than why not. I've read a lot of "at this cost and 3d printed bits" and quite frankly I don't get the comments, the cost is actually "fair" considering the price of the competition.
Aesthetically its nothing to look at and if it were up to me I'd do away with the carbon fiber box for electronics and just make it all metal. I swapped the original 6+R knob for the black/carbon Frex knob and I think it looks miles better. It’s just a box that is pure function and I will take the footprint of this unit over the very cool looking competition any day. It does come with a mounting plate and easily screws into a piece of 40xXX profile. In my case it screwed into the Advanced Sim Racing shifter plate. The software controlling the unit is a plugin for SimHub.
How does it feel?
It has the gear engagement feel of the Pro-Sim at a 3rd of the size. There is a two stage feel to shifting gears but even more so due to the programable delay and the blocking gate mechanism. For delay we are talking about milliseconds, but it really makes for a great, into neutral and then into gear feel. There is a very strong and pronounced feel in taking it out of gear, into neutral, and then into gear again. The throw is heavy, but I don’t think its adjustable, this might be an issue for some, I’ll gladly leave it as is as I prefer heavy controls all around. In H sync mode you can control the delays between each gears, for example 1-2, 3-4, 4-5, 5-6 can all have different delay timing set, or just remove delay all together. The unit is loud just like its pears.
The parts of the shaft which slide into the gates/gears have spinning bearings attached, the gates themselves are very thick as is the lockout gate which are all rounded off. The bearings fit perfectly into the slots which results in absolutely no play/slop when in gear and in a very smooth action when sliding in and out of the gates. In neutral position the lever just returns to middle position without bouncing around like the Frex would. The staged feel is achieved by the gate returning to the lockout position as soon as you pop into neutral and then muscle your way through the now "allowed to move away" lockout gate and into gear.
Price wise, this shifter comes in cheaper than the BDH and way cheaper than the Pro-Sim, making it a no brainer for me. There is nothing those shifters offer over the Bash Pro at this stage, hopefully the unit proves to be reliable. I do not like to talk about price/value as it’s really about what you want/need and willing to spend on something and from watches to cars, it starts at next to nothing to won’t afford it in a lifetime. But in this case, I must say it is good value if you compare it to the high-end competition. This is an innovative product, first of its kind, and its clocking in at a significant discount over the competition. This stands in stark contrast to the Simucube Active pedal, which is a first of its kind, and is an end-game product, however, the cost of this offering reflects it. With the Bash Pro you got something similar, something moving the hobby to the next level and its cheaper than its “passive” neighbours.
As I type this up, Pro-Sim is working on an addon for their H and sequential boxes that will also block out gears when not doing this correctly, and this is great news for existing Pro-Sim owners. This unit will also work off of SimHub, will be curious to see what kind of options it will have.

Hi all. I am a hobbyist/DIY enthusiast/handy-home-gamer. I’d like to start (re)building my core hand tools kit.
While I’ve picked up quite a few general construction, auto and powebattery tools, I’ve realized that my primary hand tools are still based around a big-box-style Crescent 150 pc starter kit (ratchet, wrenches and sockets) supplemented with inexpensive impacts, one-off Craftsman or Husky-type items. I don’t mind investing in quality, but my livelihood doesn’t depend on it and I’d like to keep a reasonable budget.
Seeking advice on brand and selection. Should I starts fresh with Icon, Quinn, Pittsburgh Pro, other? Build piecemeal or start with a ‘master kit’ (even if duplication of existing items). Thanks so much!!

I have a Mi Band 5 and I've been using the Notify & Fitness for Mi Band app for a couple of years. I've paid for the PRO + Addons license.
I've been automatically syncing Steps, Sleep, Heart rate & Weight to Google Fit. Now that the Google Fit API is winding down with the replacement being the Health Connect API, I've disabled Google Fit syncing and enabled Health Connect syncing with the same(ish) settings - the difference being Steps has a 'Google Fit steps mode' under the Google Fit sync settings but not under the Health Connect settings - I have no idea what this does though.
I'm not sure what the optimal settings should be for this to all work like clockwork. Google Fit almost always has discrepancies with Google Maps timeline - typically several miles. For example I cycled the other day; I tracked it via the Google Fit app (track workout, cycling) and Google Fit initially said 14.4 miles which was the same as Google Maps timeline. However after a sync from the Notify & Fitness app (via the Simple Health middleware) it reduced to 11.2 miles on Google Fit.
There are lots of settings in the Notify & Fitness app and its a bit bewildering as to what should and shouldn't be configured. I've disabled all the Google Fit sync settings and enabled the Health Connect sync settings for Steps, Sleep, Heart and Weight, and set the Auto sync timer to 120 minutes.
I want to track everything with Google Fit and use the data from the Mi Band 5 to integrate - steps, sleep & heart rate. What are the optimal settings?

Ive recently leased the Air Touring with DD Pro and a few other upgrades. Ive already have had a service tech visit already who reset some of the modules and things have seemed to gotten better. Few glitches/bugs in design/execution.
a. Child Lock control should be separate. After all , its software and can be split up.
b. Devices like homelink shouldn't be at a user level. I had to set up the same garage door opener separately for myself and my wife ! Weird !!
c.Easy exit should be at a user profile level, but its set up to impact all users ! WTH.
d. Where the hell is recording while driving/sentry mode ? I live in a high accident incidence area and this is a must.
d. DD Pro is still lacking and underperforms compared to a standard feature on my 3 year old Audi. At this rate, i dont know if level 5 autonomy will ever come to Lucid !
e. Unusually long boot times - This was fixed with certain modules re-set.
f. Where is Android Auto ?

Idea of the list is to put a lot of pressure on the opponent with the catachans chimeras and bullgryns. Rough riders act as MSU units and deep strike detterants. Most of the dmg comes from tank commanders and leman russes. I use the 20man catachan unit with straken as a good target for reinforcements and ursula stays behind for the free fields of fire. I use the scions for secondaries like deploy homers and signals.
Tried it a few times and it performs well against shooting and meele armies. Only hard counter i think might be death guard with triple PBC and mortarion. As they can take out a lot of my meele options with artillery

I'm not even talking about balance which i suspect will be fine after like 3 patches of straight damage buffs (hes so fucking bad right now holy shit)
His new identity just sucks though i dont think he suits being an adc at all in his current state he's just a really shitty low range (low auto range + required autos to reset R) varus on a budget until he eventually scales into the worlds most lackluster late game hyper carry
I understand that Riot has had problems with Corki being too much of a menace in pro and dogshit in solo q but i feel like that could've been made completely fine for both by just removing his package and then giving compensation to his early game by buffing his E/Q. I think his terrible early game was the biggest contributor as to why his winrates were so terrible in solo q because he provided basically nothing except for relatively low amount of dps until 2 items and manamune was stacked but then really came online at level 16
I've been playing Corki mid for 2 years as my go to mid pick which is my secondary role at masters+ elo and personally i've always managed above 50% winrates on him even when his winrates were floating around 45% so i understand why changes had to be made but i think they shouldve just kept him as a mid laner and it really sucks to lose him as a good magic damage pick because Riot decided to force him to be an exclusive adc pick when literally nobody asked or wanted that just because they decided to go too far with a cha

Ich wurde gerade ziemlich vor den Kopf gestoßen. Ich bin bald mit der Ausbildung in meinem aktuellen Betrieb fertig und habe (leider) auch schon den Übernahmevertrag unterschrieben. In dem Vertrag steht: 'Der Mitarbeiter nutzt für betrieblich veranlasste Fahrten entweder einen Firmenwagen oder den eigenen PKW
Ich habe einen Führerschein bin jedoch seit ca. 2020 nicht mehr wirklich Auto gefahren. Die ganze Ausbildung bin ich auch überall mit den Öffis hin. Es ist auch keine Voraussetzung einen Führerschein zu haben. Ein anderer Azubi z.B. hat keinen Führerschein und in seinem Arbeitsvertrag steht genau der gleiche Satz. Ich bin, anscheinend dummerweise, davon ausgegangen, dass ich weiterhin auch mit den Öffis zu den Kunden fahren kann.
Heute ist mein Ausbilder zu mir gekommen (er weiß das ich seit mehreren Jahren nicht mehr gefahren bin) und meinte ich muss ab jetzt wieder fahren können bzw. sobald ich ausgelernt bin, da ich den Arbeitsvertrag unterschrieben habe. Notfalls müsse ich mir privat Fahrstunden zu nehmen. Er meinte auch das ich dadurch dass ich einen Führerschein habe verpflichtet bin Auto zu fahren wenn mein Arbeitgeber das verlangt.
Ergo ich werde jetzt dafür Bestraft das ich meinen Führerschein damals gemacht habe.
Ich kann mir aktuell auch Fahrstunden nur schwer leisten, da ich bereits alleine Wohne und die Ausbildungsvergütung für Münchner Verhältnisse recht gering ist.
Ist diese Formulierung Verpflichtend? Was machen denn sonst der Azubikollege der keinen Führerschein hat und den Vertrag unterschrieben hat.
(In dem Absatz darüber steht auch nix weiteres. Lediglich das man pro km mit dem Privatwagen 0.30ct Entschädigung erhalt und für Schäden an den Firmenwägen selbst aufkommen muss)
