When I open up the YouTube app on IPhone, there is generally an advertisement on top. If I don’t touch my screen and let it sit for a second, the ad automatically opens up in safari. Today I’ve been getting a Disney Parks ad, and without clicking on it, the link opens up in safari to book a room. Crazy and this doesn’t seem ethical. Anyone else having this problem?

i had my daith pierced at the beginning of april this year. originally it was pierced with incorrect jewelry so i found an app piercer to check it and switch it to a hoop the next day.

piercing is implant grade titanium. i clean 1-2 times a day with a saline spray, rinse in the shower, and if my crusties are causing too much irritation i gently remove with threadless cotton swabs saturated in saline solution. afterwards i dry with either a paper towel or my threadless cotton swabs. apologies for the crusties in the picture, was taken before cleaning lol

I got my iPhone XR screen replaced by a third party provider (I took it to Apple who ran diagnostics but they couldn't replace my screen as one of the options didn't bypass diagnostics, and they didn't want to risk it). My screen has been intact, but I have the most recent update and my phone is now experiencing ghost touch (scrolling, clicking on random buttons, opening apps without me touching)

I was very much blindsided by the newborn stage, but after 12 months I was finally starting to feel like I was getting the hang of things. Well, my son has decided to change things up again (of course). Essentially, he now screams or whines at us non stop.
It started about a month ago, but we were able to redirect his attention fairly easily. Recently, however, it seems like we can’t do anything right in his eyes. He wants me to pick him up and hold him a certain way, or hold him and walk around till the end of time. He wants to touch everything on the counter. If I don’t let him touch something dangerous or if I can’t figure out what he wants, cue the back bends and meltdowns. Sometimes I can make things better by sitting him on my lap and singing songs, but that works maybe 50% of the time. He’s also become an incredibly picky eater and all the food he once loved he refuses to touch. He ate cheerios for dinner the other night.
l feel stupid asking this, but is this normal? We have a doctors app scheduled for Friday to rule anything serious out has he did have a fever over the weekend and was dealing with constipation the last few days on top of that. As far as teething goes I can see both of his upper K9s, but there’s been no movement for over a month. I feel like I’m going crazy waiting for them to make their way down. We are also weaning him, which can’t help things, but my supply is basically gone so it unfortunately has to be done.

Title type: Look better than "V".
Sure there might be huge difference in 1080p and 4k in paper and some difference in real person, but tons of taiwanese xperia users that actually touch the phone in persons have commented the VI display looks better in person than their 1V, comments on they cant really notice much pixels density difference to their 1V and some even impressed how good it looks.
Its like almost 90 percent bad opinion (on paper and 98% of these are focusing 1080P) while base on the taiwan users that actually got 1VI on hand are almost like 95% and above positive on the display.
Sure continue to bash how bad the whole phone is purely due to the 1080p on spec. So much complaints in the past about no ltpo, no VC, low brightness outdoor, no macro, weak tele, fragmented camera apps experience, not strong battery and here now here we go sony improve all except the 1080p screen and tons of you guys literally deny the whole phone, claiming not much improve just because the 1080p screen on paper..... shure

lets mark my word, you will see good actual on hand usage experience after one month from the actual 1 vi users back to reddits/other forums (mostly upgrading from 1 II/III to 1 VI especially from taiwanese users since they are the first batch that ACTUALLY HANDS on the phone instead of crying on the spec).

Just received my Pixel 8a yesterday and after half a day or so of use it started acting strangely.

Hey, I've started a new project again. I have a kind of ball that can provide RGB light, a bar that can do the same, and an LED strip, all of which can be controlled with the Tuya smart app.
But, can't I have an ESP32 create a WiFi network, connect the lights to it, and then when I click on a button, all the lights turn on, and another button to turn them off again? Is that possible?
Also, I have an MH sensor - the Flying Fish Series (infrared sensor). Can I turn the lights on if something interrupts the beam and turn them off if the beam is interrupted again?

DESPERATELY in need of help to care for my 11 yo nephew after family was assaulted over the weekend. ANYTHING HELPS!
Long story short, my mom has custody of my 11 year old nephew. He's been staying with his mother while we tried to get back on our feet. We have no car, living in a motel, and can't find jobs, especially ones we can walk to.
But Friday night my sister in law sent someone to pick him up and he got confrontational and attacked my mother, me and my brother. We're okay for the most part. Hello everyone. In these recent days I find myself on the go most of the times. I find my phone is my best friend, so am thinking it's time to get a controller for it because touch screens are a no. Mostly planning to use it for my retro games collection (retroarch emulator or lemuroid), ppsspp, drastic and yuzu. Alternatively could use it for psplay (I have official remote play app too, but I find psplays works better). Never tried Xbox cloud, maybe in the future.
To fit my needs I've been really looking around the internet, but there will always be mixed feelings, and sometimes ratings aren't always true. My phone is a s23 ultra with a thin spigen case, so the controllers that came to mind were:
1) Backbone one 2nd gen (case friendly). Most people praise it has the best companion app and is best plug and play controller despite the huge price tag.
2) Gamesir x2s. Another one that looks compact but I heard they're app isn't all that good and some people have issues with it.
3) A rather unique compact gem I stumbled upon is the Bluetooth controller Turtle Beach Atom. It looks really cool, super comfortable, I wouldn't mind throwing it in my bag, but I feel it's more obscure and I don't have enough feedback on it. Some people complain on latency/Bluetooth vs type C etc. Honestly I don't plan to play shooters, even if I stream games so I don't know if the feeling is that big and all but yeah, although this looks great I don't know anything about it.
I did hear people saying just go for g8 Galileo but that is less portable, and not sure if I feel comfortable tossing it randomly in a bag. So yeah. What are you guys using?
