I'm a software engineer who has done some simple hardware design back in the day, and I'm seeking advice on the best tool for building schematics as code. Probably there is a tool that does this already, but I couldn’t find any. My goal is to leverage the software development practices in hardware design. Specifically, I'm looking for a tool that supports the following features:
  1. Schematic As Code: Easy-to-read concise syntax to describe schematics.
  2. Modular Design: The ability to define modules and reuse them across different projects.
  3. Multiple Implementations of a Module: Flexibility to create different schematic versions by swapping out module implementations.
  4. Git and Code Reviews: Lend itself to be used in version control systems, like git, and easy to be code reviewed.

Control Circuit of Brushless Motor: How is it Structured and Operated?

Brushless Motor Control Principle:

The traditional control method of a BLDC motor is to switch the power circuits (IGBT or MOSFET) to supply current to the stator coil based on the Hall sensor signal.
This control mode is also known as 120-degree control mode. This is the basic control mode for a brushless motor, and we will not consider other modes for the time being. At any given time, the motor always has only two conducting phases, so this is also called a 2-phase control mode. Under each conducting phase, we see that there is a unidirectional current and a unidirectional electromotive force. Therefore, a BLDC motor will have similar mechanical and control characteristics to a DC motor. That's why this motor is also called a "brushless DC motor."
Principle of brushless motor control
During the start-up process, the BLDC motor runs at idle after closing the load. We can clearly see that the phases (along with different colors) take turns conducting electricity and demonstrate their "one-way" nature.
To implement the above motor control principle, a control configuration within the current hysteresis range (also known as Hysteresis Current Control, or HCC) has been implemented, and it is an exemplary control configuration for BLDC motors.
It is easy to see that, when using the HCC current regulation method, we have the switching current up to six times in one cycle. This switching is not ideal (not instantaneous, and the up and down switching times are not equal), causing the shortcomings of BLDC motors, which are fluctuations in the magnetic flux trajectory, which is not circular and is difficult to determine.
Torque ripple is considered the weak point of BLDC motors. Recently, there has been a large amount of research on BLDC motors aimed at minimizing this undulation.
Normally, the magnetic flux trajectory of the motor must be circular, but due to the non-ideal switching of the current, the flux trajectory of the BLDC motor has up to six "spikes" and "steps" in one cycle. Estimating the magnetic flux at these "steps" is very difficult, making it challenging to control the magnetic flux in a BLDC motor. Therefore, the control of BLDC motors up to now has ignored the process of controlling its magnetic flux.

Diagram and Control of Brushless Motor:

A BLDC motor has up to three wires, while its module only supports two wires. So what to do? We will use a new control device called an ESC. The ESC has the speed regulation function for the brushless motor, which is operated by sending pulses to the signal pin.
The wiring diagram is as follows:
  • Right: Includes three wires connected to three motor wires. Note: Connect the middle wire of the ESC to the middle wire of the motor; the remaining two wires can be connected either way. Reversing these two wires will only change the direction of the motor.
  • Left: Consists of two large wires that supply power to the motor. We see that the three smaller wires are quite similar to the three servo wires, as they work and have programming code quite similar to a servo motor that works with pulses.
  • The function of these three wires is as follows: The black wire is the negative pole, the red wire provides 5V power, and the yellow wire is the signal wire connected to the Arduino (connected to the PWM pin).

I would really just want to buy Thinkbook G5 or G6, but since I was told to avoid it for compatibility reasons, I am now stressing out with the decision about Thinkpads.
I really wish to make final decision what to get, and I was thinking to maybe not get the latest Thinkpad generation, but maybe one of the previous generations of T14. I do not want to buy an used laptop, but I am totally fine with getting new older version, if I can find it. I do not need any high processing power, since I plan to use it only for basic use. As long as it is Ryzen 5 or 7 from last 3 or 4 years, I'll be fine long-term for sure.
Mostly I am afraid to make a purchase, Thinkbook or Thinkpad, because I am not completely sure what components I have to double check for compatibility. If I am not wrong, I should avoid Qualcomm network cards? I will be fine with Intel cards? Since I already excluded Nvidia I suppose I will be fine with any integrated or Radeon graphic card?
What is important to me: - Charger 65W with USB-C and easy connectivity to dock/hub or later if I get a Dell 34 with dock upstream integrated - Would be nice to have two USB-C ports, but I can also just use some port extended on the dock/hub if needed more, it is not such deal breaker - AMD Ryzen 5 or 7 - RAM 16GB, either out of the box or upgradable - Graphics integrated/Radeon - HDMI 2.1 - Wifi card that works, at least AC speeds
What I can accept if not working: - Fingerprint, would be nice if works, but I can live without it and use password/pin - Touchpad, would be nice if works, but I need it once per year and can live without it

2024.05.18 10:34 aightkay I still don’t get how anyone who read and liked the books can defend the movies… Movie review of a longtime fan of the books.

This is gonna be long, so grab a snack and try to bear with me… I first read the trilogy as a teenager and obviously loved it and I remember a couple months after finishing my first read, the first HG movie came out and it was obviously huge, everyone was talking about it. But I remember seeing a trailer back then and subconsciously, I guess I kinda knew I‘d ruin the books for myself if I watched it and - guess what - twelve years later I recently read the books again and then finally watched all the films and I wasn’t wrong. Are the films terrible? No. But the books remain one of my favorite saga of all time and the movies all range from like 1/10 to 5/10 at best. Here are some of my main issues:
•Let‘s get this one out of the way because I know this has been discussed a lot over the years: Jennifer Lawrence is awful as Katniss. She doesn’t look like the character is described in the books one bit (Hair, skin and eye color, height, but especially her weight) and she can’t convey her character properly either. In the books, Katniss is a very withdrawn person, quite harsh and she‘s one to often self doubt. In the movies, she‘s just too outgoing, confident, too nice, light hearted and… Funny. It’s Jennifer‘s real personality shining through and it’s so out of place in this story. Also Peeta is too small in comparison, since in the books he‘s tall and very muscular.
•The Capitol doesn’t look and feel like a real city. It’s so obvious that most of it is computer generated and that’s not even the worst part tbh. It’s just… Empty… Whenever there’s a shot of the Capitol, you rarely ever see people (except for in the last few scenes before they bomb the place ofc), just these huge gray, monotonous skyscrapers and empty plazas. Which is also an inaccurate portrayal because in the books the Capitol‘s houses are described to be colorful, some are pastel pink, some blue… Much like the citizens themselves.
•The books are from Katniss‘ POV, so we obviously get to know a lot of her thoughts when in the movies, we rarely ever get insight on her motives. They unfortunately tried to balance this out by a lot of overacting, I cringed so hard whenever Katniss suddenly started screaming or something, because we don’t know what‘s going on inside of her head.
•All the combats, all the wounds and broken bones never visibly affect the characters. The books describe in detail which kinds of physical and psychological traumas the characters have to live with after the arena and then the war; Peeta‘s amputated leg, Katniss‘ deaf ear, tons and tons of wounds that should translate into visible scars but her and everyone else’s skin remains just as clear and smooth as ever. Just like Katniss’ silky long hair which should‘ve been burnt off at least twice, in the arena and then again during the war. The tributes and people from the seam look too clean and healthy in general.
•They don’t show the crippling depression Katniss struggles with, when Peeta is in the Capitol and especially for months at the end of MJ2: She literally didn’t talk to anyone or shower for months or leave her room where in the movies she‘s instantly back up hunting and cuddling up with Peeta. In the books, Katniss and Peeta also frequently mention nightmares and especially flashbacks. None of that in the movies.
•It‘s obvious from the start that Coin is evil and that she just wants to replace Snow and become the new leader. In the books, this is only hinted at until the end and also Coin herself is a much more reserved character; they certainly overdid it by having her play the "villain in disguise" who‘s always SO nice she has to be evil…
•Katniss is wearing too much makeup and I don’t mean when she’s on TV or filming propos, but when she‘s at home or in the arena... I noticed this especially in the first two movies, not so much in the last two.
•THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE MOCKINGJAY ISNT EXPLAINED and they changed where Katniss got the pin
•One last thing I noticed is that when Katniss is in the arena for the first time, she’s supposed to be there for roughly two weeks when in the movie, it feels like what, 3-4 days?

My ideas for a meta shakeup that includes buffs, nerfs and some minor reworks to mechanics.
What do you agree/disagree with and what would you change or suggest?

Objectives + Chickens

(1) Chickens will be at every final exit gate.
he'd see you at every final gate/door.
If a Victim alerts a chicken they will be highlighted for everyone to see just like how Grandpa highlights Victims nearby.
(2) Fuse and Valve will NEVER spawn near eachother on the same side of the map.
Generator
  • Kicking the generator will be considered a loud action and create the noise VFX accordingly.
Fusebox
  • Fuse alignment will take a base of 6 seconds to install each fuse button. Proficiency will affect this.
White action bar that occurs before the fuse button is placed. Make sure you know how to add.
Valve
  • Inserting the valve will take significantly longer (5-7 seconds) and will NOT have a mapwide sound when it is put in.
  • Valve turning for victims will be changed to an action bar like what family has.
The action of turning the handle is now affected by Strength rather than Proficiency.
action bar instead of noise meter. because how can you turn a valve loudly.
  • Hare or Meat is changed to increase valve turning when a family member is within range by 15/20/30%
Car Battery
Unchanged

Tampered Objectives

Danny would need to first tamper an objective and then complete the objective. Or complete the objective and then tamper when it is turned off/open.
Example: Danny tampers Generator but he still needs to kick it. A Tampered Generator takes less kicks to turn off and stays off for longer (like how it works now)
Tampered Generator
  • Reduced time to turn off the generator. Cooldown is 3 times as long.
Tampered Fuse
  • Fuse button installation time will be reduced. Fuse cooldown is 3 times as long.
Tampered Valve
Valve pressurizes 3 times as fast and will stay open for 3 times as long when its open.
A Tampered Valve can be turned off by family but it will depressurize (regress) 3 times as slow.
Comments: Danny will still have to get the valve to reach max pressure for it to be open. However with it being tampered Danny and his friends can have an easier time fighting for it due to the increased pressurization rate, without it being completely one sided.
This change can open up different strategies and create these really intense moments where you need to decide if you send a family member to guard the tampered valve, but be down a chaser, or if all victims just decide to brawl by the valve to pull it off.
Tampered Car Battery
  • Reduced time to turn off the car battery.
  • Cooldown is 3 times as long.

Voicelines + Leaderboard

(1) When a victim or family member crouches they immediately stop whatever voiceline it is they are saying.
While crouched your character will not speak at all.
(2) The leaderboard will no longer show the other side's score. Score for both sides will only be seen on the results screen.
Comments: This removes the cheesy strategy of using score to guess what objectives each Victim has complete.

Door Slams

Door slams only work on CLOSED doors.
Open doors can't be closed while running. You have to walk for a bit and then continue running.
When performing a door slam both family members and victims are stalled like how Bubba is when he slams open a door currently.
you would need to be running to perform a door slam that stuns.
Slight knockback will be added if you are door slammed, moving you away from the door a bit.
Tae Kwan Door
Changed: Slamming doors on Family members will deplete 30/40/50% of their stamina.
Current: Slamming doors on Family members will stun the target for 5/6/8 seconds.

Traversals (Crawl spaces, Wall gaps, etc)

(1) EVERY traversal will have a Rushed variant like the Car traversals do currently (Wall gaps, crawl spaces, barricades, etc)
this is in the game right now lol
Rushed traversing will be fast, create a loud noise VFX and consume 15 stamina for both Victims and Family Members.
(2) When not using a Rushed variant, Victims are susceptible to being Grabbed like how you can be Grabbed out of a Hiding Spot.
Victims would need to manage their stamina so that they aren't performing Slow traversals in chase.
Slippery
Changed: After performing a Rushed traversal you move 15% faster for 5 seconds. The cooldown is 40/30/20 seconds.
Current: After using a crawl space or gap you move 5%/10%/15% faster for 5 seconds.
Wire Frame
Changed: After performing a Rushed traversal your stamina consumption is reduced by 20% for 15 seconds. The cooldown is 45/35/25 seconds.
Current: You can traverse gaps 20/30/40% faster, and crawl spaces 20%40%/60% faster.

Victim Mechanics

(1) Noise will no longer follow victims.
Comments: Noise following victims was never a good solution to discouraging rushing and it takes skill out of the chase when you can track a victim's exact movements.
(2) ALL I-frames during get up animations, stuns, etc are replaced with Stun frames, like when you step into a bone trap. Allowing family members to immediately strike victims that have gotten stunned or have just dropped from a well.
(3) Victim attributes will behave like Family and they will be unique.
For example: Leland at max Toughness wouldn't have the same health as an Ana at max Toughness. It would be like 20-25 less health.
Comments: I think it's a bit boring that you can make up for a Victim's downsides by just building toward their lowest attribute, to keep the identity between each Victim they should behave like how Savagery or Endurance works for Family and have their own values.
There'd still be a reason to build into Toughness for low health characters like Leland, it just won't ever match a character like Ana's.
(4) All Small Health Bottles are replaced with Large Health Bottles.
(5) Victims can drop items using Down D-pad or G on keyboard.
Comments: This is just quality of life. In a team game i don't get why this isn't a thing Victims can do, it'll also help prevent wasting a health bottle.
(6) When Victims search and their inventory is full, the item that gets replaced will be put on the floor instead of being discarded.
Comments: Quality of life.
(7) The leaderboard for Victims:
- What exit each Victim has used.

(8) When being pulled out of a hiding spot or traversal the Victim loses ALL of their stamina.
(9) Ability cooldowns at the start of the match will corrospond to each Victim's ability cooldown.
Example: Julie's ability cooldown is 120 so at the start of the match she would have a 120 second cooldown on her ability whereas Ana's ability cooldown is 180 seconds.
This would change depending on if you have an Ability Perk that changes the cooldown duration of course.
(10) Disarming traps and bone chimes will not lock the camera of the Victim.

Family Mechanics + Grandpa Perks/Mechanics

(1) Stun immunity is reduced to 5 seconds. 10 seconds is WAY too long. I address perks related to stun durations below.
(2) Family members will see eachother highlighted at ALL times without needing to use family focus
Comments: I think this change is especially important given how this game is meant to be """"""""""Casual""""""""" but it has such a heavy reliance on communication.
To help newer players and to make the game a bit less sweaty Family members should see eachother as unlike victims, Family NEEDS to work together. Victim is a bit more independent and you can carry your team usually.
(3) Family Focus will show padlocks, bone traps, barbed wire traps and ALL objectives (without you needing to get within range)
(4) ALL Family members (excluding Bubba) will spawn near Grandpa.
Comments: You shouldn't have cases like family house Johnny or slaughterhouse Sissy.
(5) Grandpa's stab cooldown will be 5 seconds and is seperate from him being incapped.
Comments: This is to prevent camping Grandpa at high levels to just level him back to level 5.
(6) When Grandpa is incapacitated, Grandpa perks will be disabled until he recovers.
(7) The highlight of victims during the grandpa sonar will linger depending on the victims stealth stat. Low stealth means the highlight can linger up to 6 seconds for example.
(8) Actively performing actions such as lockpicking, healing, crouching, kicking generators, etc. will highlight victims during a Grandpa Sonar.
Comments: Grandpa's sonar doesn't make victims stop what they're doing and i think to slow the game down this mechanic can be introduced to make for some interesting gameplay. You would have to be actively lockpicking to be highlighted by grandpa, being in the animation will not highlight you.
(9) Blood buckets are empty at the start of the match. During this time Family should set their traps up or close traversals.
(10) Family members can drop from ladders the same way victims can.
(11) Grandpa will spawn with at least 2 possible areas to stab him from.
Comments: So if a Hitchhiker does want to trap Grandpa he has to use at least 2 traps in the best case scenario.
(12) Victims highlighted by Grandpa will play the flashbulb SFX for family side as well.
(13) Endurance will no longer affect attack speed.
Comments: Endurance is a bit over tuned and it increases your DPS, which is what Savagery is meant to do.
(14) The leaderboard for Family will show:
- Each Family member's blood vial amount/capacity
- Each Family member's inventory (if they have their traps, padlocks, etc on them or not)
Exterior Alarms
Changed: When active, all final doors and gates are highlighted if unlocked.
Current: When active, all critical doors and gates are highlighted for 5 seconds if opened.
Comments: This perk counters stealth way more than it should so it has been changed to work on final doors instead to fit the "Exterior" name.
Brute Strength
Tuned: Melee damage is increased by 15% for all family members.
Current: Slightly increases melee damage for all family members.
Windoom + Well Well Well
Combined: Victims take 50% more damage when jumping out of windows or jumping down a well.
Barge To The Point
Changed: When a Family Member is door slammed by a Victim, the door will instantly break.
Current: Barging doors always opens them on the first try.
You'll Pay For That!
Changed: When Grandpa is incapacitated, your damage dealt to Victims is increased by 15%/20%/25% for 40 seconds.
Current: If Grandpa is incapacitated, your damage dealt to Victims is increased by (15%/20%/25%) until he recovers.
Agitator
Tuned: Incapacitating Grandpa has a greater negative affect on the Family. Family bond is reduced by 1.25/1.5/2 levels.
Current: Incapacitating Grandpa has a greater negative affect on the Family. Family bond is reduced by 1.5/2/2.5 levels.

Grappling and Grappling Perks

(1) While in a close encounter a victim receives 30% more damage when hit. This damage vulnerability will end when the "Close Encounter Won" notification is triggered.
Once the victim is hit the close encounter will immediately end as both the family member and victim regain control of their character.
If a victim is below 50% health and is hit by another family member, the victim will be instantly killed.

Comments: This is the best of both worlds, grappling won't be super punishing but it also won't feel like shit when your attacks slide off of a family member and fatigue.
(2) Lighter characters such as Hitchhiker and Sissy will be stunned the longest during close encounters whereas Johnny, Nancy and Cook will be stunned slightly less:
HitchhikeSissy Close Encounter base stun time: 4.5 seconds
Nancy/Cook Close Encounter base stun time: 4 seconds
Johnny Close Encounter base stun time: 3 seconds
Comments: Lighter characters trade off power for mobility so why aren't they stunned for more than 0.5 seconds?
(3) After winning a close encounter as Victim the family member will lose all of their stamina when they are stunned, like when you're backstabbed.
Choose fight
Changed: Fight or flight? Choose Fight. Sneak Attacks and Close Encounters gives the Family member a damage reduction of 15% for 20/25/35 seconds.
Current: Fight or flight? Choose Fight. Sneak Attacks and Close Encounters stun the family for 2/3,5/5 seconds longer.
Empowered
Changed: After surviving a close encounter, you heal for 15% of your health. The cooldown is 90/60/30 seconds.
Current: After surviving a close encounter, you regain 50/70/90% of max stamina
Pack Animal
Changed: After being hit with any type of stun your attacker is highlighted for 3/6/9 seconds.
Current: After being hit with a sneak attack, your attacker is highlighted for 3/6/9 seconds.
Dracula
Changed: Winning a close encounter gives you 40/60/80% more blood and increases your maximum blood storage capacity by 5/10/15%, while losing a close encounter gives you 20/30/40 blood.
Current: Winning a close encounter gives you 10/40/70% more blood, while losing a close encounter gives you 20/30/40 blood.
Comments: I remember initially thinking this perk would be THE blood perk because of the misleading description leading me to believe you got more blood capacity with each grapple kill, since grappling kills aren't all too common i think this buff wouldn't be too op. Comments: Perks like these that are just another Victim's ability really shouldn't exist.
BUT to make it less like Connie's ability in a perk it having charges can make it not completely overshadow her.
Jump Start
Changed: While above 80% health your stamina consumption on dashing is reduced by 20/30/50%
Current: Stamina consumption on dashing is reduced by 10/30/50%
Second Wind
Changed: After being injured, instantly recover 40% stamina. The cooldown is 50/40/30
Current: After being injured, you are able to recover 30/50/70 stamina by avoiding damage for the next 7 seconds.
Scout
Tuned: Your sprint speed is increased by 5%, but melee damage is reduced by 25/20/15%.
Current: Your movement speed is increased by 5/10/15%, but stamina regeneration rate is 20/15/10% slower.

Changed: Healing others is 50% faster and adds 50/70/100% more health to your target

Changed: When within 10m of an incapacitated Victim they will recover 50/75/100% faster. Incapacitated Victims are highlighted to you.
Current: Help all Victims recover from being incapacitated more quickly. Recovery is (15%/25%/35%) faster.
Safety In Numbers
Changed: You will receive a 10% bonus to your max health and stamina for each Victim that is alive and has not escaped.
Current: While all Victims are alive and before any have escaped, you receive (5%/10%/15%) bonus to your max health and stamina.
Comments: This would be a 30% bonus assuming the other 3 Victims are alive, 20% if there is 2 other Victims, 10% if there is only 1 other Victim.
Efficient Backstabber

Jump Scare
Changed: Triggering bone charms or chickens replenishes 40% of max stamina. The cooldown is 50/40/30 seconds.

Chicken Whisperer
Changed: You will not disturb chickens. When chickens are disturbed by a Victim instantly refill 30/40/50% stamina and gain 10% increased sprint speed for 15 seconds.
Current: Chickens won't make noise unless you're very close to them. Chicken detection radius is reduced by (20/50%). (Level 3) Chickens will not generate noise if you are spotted. Does not affect Victims.
Vialent
Changed: When Grandpa wakes up this perk becomes active. When carrying a full blood vial your damage is increased by 10/15/20%.
Current: Your damage is increased by (10%/15%/20%) when carrying a full blood vial.

Danny

Comments: With Tampered Objectives being reworked so that Danny still needs to play the game he doesn't too many changes other than his ability tree perks.
(+) Danny would gain access to Bomb Squad as a random perk.
(-) Applying knowledge will take significantly longer. 6-7 seconds.
(-) The metal clanking sound that plays with each tap of the Tamper minigame will now be audible for everyone.
This would mean gaining knowledge is the best way to tamper an objective as you'll do it quieter.

Comments: Stamina Recovery is too much like Julie's ability.

Comments: Grappler should NOT belong to Ana. She isn't a wrestler, even with Grappler being nerfed her having it makes no sense. Agitator is fitting seeing as she is the reason the Victims even go out looking for Maria.

Sonny

(+) Sonny can now use Heightened Senses while doing actions that would lock the victim's camera. With the exceptions being when you have an overlay on your screen like fuse alignment.
imagine him lockpicking or doing any other objective.

There are better posts on this subreddit that handle Sonny's stats better than i could but what i'd suggest is lowering his aggressive attributes (strength, endurance) and bumping his stealth and proficiency.

Julie

(+/-) Focus Rework
Cooldown: 240 seconds
Description: Focus allows for objectives to be completed quicker at the cost of leaving you vulnerable.
Requires at least 50 stamina to activate and to be performing car battery, fusebox and door actions. (Proficiency related tasks)
When focused proficiency is increased by 100%.
On activation Connie consumes ALL stamina and enters Focus. While in Focus Connie's proficiency is increased by 100% but she cannot sense family proximity and won't regenerate stamina.
Focus can only be activated while lockpicking, interacting with the car battery or fuse alignment.
Focus duration lasts as long as it takes for Connie to complete what task she is doing.
Once Connie completes a task, is hit by a family member OR cancels the action she will begin to regenerate her stamina and be able to sense the family proximity.
Comments: This rework aims to make Connie less boring and although it is a significant nerf, her ability isn't useless as she can use her ability for more objectives and would still be able to open doors fast, just not instantly.

Sissy

(+) Sissy will move at 4.1m/s (up from 3.9m/s).
(+) Poison Cloud is now basekit.

Changed: Each time a barbed wire victim uses a traversal they take 1 HP per second of damage for the next 3/4/5 seconds.
Current: Barbed wire traps do 20/35/50% more damage.
Comments: Since Nancy doesn't have serrated and this perk is worthless, this can be changed to somewhat mirror Hitchhiker's Venom perk.
Pins and Needles
Changed: Placing a strand of barbed wire will not consume an inventory item for 1/2/3 charges, but your barbed wire traps will be permanently destroyed.
Current: Placing a strand of barbed wire has a 10/15/25% chance to not consume an inventory item.
Comments: Prevents abuse by limiting the amount of traps Nancy can place, but also guarantees value as you will always be able to place up to 6 traps. Your barbed wires are limited with this perk so keep that in mind.
Sip Sip Sip
Tuned: Melee attacks give 40% more blood in your vial, but attack damage is reduced by 20/15/10%.
Current: Melee attacks give 10/20/30% more blood in your vial, but attack damage is reduced by 10/15/20%.

Hitchhiker

(+) Victims that step in bone traps will be highlighted while they are trapped. Family All See Noise will be replaced with "Increased Disarm Time" and will increase the time it takes to disarm a bone trap by 2-3 seconds.
(+) Bloody Traps will now give 60 blood.
(+) After setting a trap Hitchhiker's trap related voicelines will be in his head and only heard by him.
(+) Bone traps will no longer show the prompt to disarm it with a bonescrap to Victims
this can be seen in grass if the victim is carrying a bonescrap lol
(-) Hitchhiker bone trap setting and trap resetting is now 5 seconds.
(-) Disarming Hitchhiker's trap will be reduced to 7 seconds.
(-) Scout will replace Slow and Steady on his skill tree.

Johnny

(+) Johnny gains a 20% increased grappling effectiveness. This can stack with suffocating grip so beware grapplers.
(+) Victims can no longer crouch to hide from Johnny's hunt.
Comments: Johnny should be able to find hiding victims considering Nancy's ability can find hiding victims without her needing to analyze anything.
(+) Johnny will lose access to Blood Banker and gain access to Vialent as a random perk.
(+) Johnny closes crawl spaces faster than Cook/Nancy.
(-) When attacking Johnny will now be slowed down to his walk speed (like every other family member)
His walk speed will be the same as Hitchhiker's.
Comments: Johnny is in a pretty unhealthy spot as he can wildly swing at victims and melt them since he doesn't lose speed while attacking, but that is all he has going for him. If you took away his "lunge" and didn't buff anything else about him he would be the worst character in the game.
Patience
Changed: Standing still for 5/4/3 seconds will reduce your family proximity radius to 0 for 20 seconds.
Current: Standing still will reduce your ability consumption rate by (20%/30%/40%).

Bubba

(+) Closed crawl spaces can now be destroyed. Closed crawl spaces are destroyed much faster than opened ones.
Comments: I don't understand why this isn't in the game already as right now it is a detriment for a Johnny to go around closing crawl spaces since victims can just open them. To give all the fat characters a reason to close crawl spaces they should be destroyed faster than open ones.
(+) Bubba will be unable to be backstabbed while he is swinging his chainsaw.
Comments: Not being able to be grappled ironically makes Bubba a bit of a punching bag when he is in close quarters with victims as you get hit and immediately run behind Bubba to cheese a backstab. The main face of the game shouldn't be this easily bullied when he is right on you.
(+) Bubba will have ALL stuns reduced by 30%. (Leland barge, backstabs, lamps lol etc)
(+) Bubba will start the match with a full blood vial. Considering he just murdered a victim.
Comments: Mostly to incentivize people to play Bubba and to help newer Bubba players that might not understand they can go to the surface.
(+) The chainsaw can now be activated while walking.
(+) Bubba's overheat duration is now 10 seconds.

Comments: The slowdown this perk has is very obnoxious and unlike Nobody Escapes Hell where you actually need to feed Grandpa, this perk is free and has MORE slowdown than a Grandpa perk. I thought this change is more fitting to the name "Security" pins and wouldn't require you to use family focus every 3 seconds to know if your padlock has been broken.
Prey Drive
Changed: Spotting a Victim decreases stamina consumption by 50% for 10/15/20 seconds.
Current: Spotting a Victim increases stamina recharge by 20/30/40% for 5/10/15 seconds.

(Another PSA When looking at industry connections, make sure they are relevant to the mission of the subreddit. They should at least have some ties to Kendrick, Drake, and the beef.)
(Meant to say related in the title.)
I’ve noticed a lot of people who want to help and contribute, but don’t know how to actually research and form any new ideas that aren’t tied to rumors or ones that support facts that are already confirmed to be true. If you want to be helpful look at Thermo’s post pinned to the front. Now more then ever we need to fight against spam posts, so if you really want to help, do your part and don’t contribute until you have something original or something that hasn’t been mentioned.
When I first started looking for connections trying to find the mole, I was looking for anyone who had spoken out against him through out the years and seeing if they had any recent connections to Kendrick. Unfortunately they’ve both worked with pretty much every A list rapper and a lot of them hate Drake so it’s hard to narrow down. I tried thinking of ways to find more specific connections and came up with a new method. I know a lot of people have already made up their minds on who they think it is, but everyone should take into consideration there is probably more than one person pulling the strings.
First I look for people who have a solid connection to Drake, then checked for their most recent connection. Then I checked if they have spoken out since the beef or if they might have had any type of falling out and if they ever reconnected. My theory is it was an old friend who knew how sketchy he was and cut ties, then he pretended to rekindle the relationship so they could collect dirt.
A few more things to look out for:
Rappers who have been in the game longer than Drake, especially if they’re super talented, but never took off.
Look at their label and subsidiaries to find connections.
Rappers with no to little public controversies or major felonies.
Rappers who left or revealed secrets about the industry if were killed I look for any close friends and major collaborators.
Rappers who were imprisoned on sketchy charges, potentially a victim of a smear campaign, or one hit wonders.
Rappers who died at the beginning of their careers and had friends who are still in the industry.
Rappers who went independent, started their own labels, or who never signed a deal.
Musicians from other genres, actors, athletes, or politician with significant ties to the industry.
Rappers who you expected to be team Kendrick, but remained silent on the matter.
Rappers who are in another country, especially if they aren’t touring. Bonus points if they left close to the release of Euphoria
Major feature artists
Any rappers who have ties to Hebrew Israelites or are associated with the Black Panther Party
Musicians who grew up around the industry, especially if they were abused or were around anyone found guilty of any crime involving minors.
Rappers from California or who have lived there a while.
Rappers who make a lot of jokes in their songs. (Usually a solid way to drop truths and not get sued.)
Rappers who have never had any beefs and know a lot of people on both sides
Rappers who publicly promote Christianity and try to elevate people instead of dragging them down with their music. (You should also check for any history that suggests the opposite.)
Rappers who donate anonymously to charity.
(Be careful a lot of predators also donate to these organizations as a cover, so by extension be wary of any rappers who visibly donate to charities related to fighting trafficking. Especially if they have any sketch shit in their past that they might be hiding. If it’s in the news it’s usually for a reason).
Team Kendrick Roster: Suspected Moles, Possible Contributors, and Connections
Please don’t just read the list and assume I’m claiming they are the mole.If one of the names catches your attention, dig deeper and try to find as many connections as you can. Even if it appears obvious, provide the sources and try to point out opinions and rumors until it can be validated. People hear the word, “rumors” and automatically associate it with lies. The truth is unless you have damning evidence that could be brought in front of the judge and be deemed relevant, it’s impossible to know if something from the internet is genuine. Generative AI is getting crazy, and there is only a matter of time before it wins the race against the AI detectors. There is technology out there that will probably make picture/video evidence irrelevant in within the next 10-15 years. Try to stick to court records directly from .gov sites and looking for past connections. If you’re able to, filter by the date and set it so you only receive results from before 2016. This is around the time google and most other search engines went to shit. If the evidence you’re looking for is from after 2016, try to stick to dates before the news broke.
(For example if you’re looking for something about Diddy, set the results from before the Cassie trial because the first 10 pages are going to be covering that and will make it way more difficult.)
A lot of information can be found by examining industry connections. Below is an example of how to look for industry connections and find connections. These are some more possible examples of the industry silencing artists. The Drake, Kanye, Kim Kardshian, and Ray J connections did a lot to set the stage for the beef.
Examples of industry connections that tell a bigger story:
Look into Michael Jackson’s death and the legal situation surrounding his masters. Look at his son’s interview after his death. Then look at Tommy Motolla and Sony Records. Look for Tommy Motolla’s connections to Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston. Look at the connection between Whitney’s death and Ray J. and Brandy. Look at the death of Whitney’s daughter compared to her mom’s death. Then try to put those pieces together and tell me what you see. This is just a tiny example.
Another interesting connection I’ve never heard anyone talk about is the connection between the murder of Young Dolph and it’s connection to Diddy and Jay Z. Look into Dolph and Yo Gotti’s label, Diddy’s dad, and Dolph’s song, “Hall of Fame”. Make sure you always crest a timeline with dates and note any connection, big or small you can throw them out later, but they may be a piece of the puzzle.
When you conducting research a good tool to use are the advanced search features. Always try to be as specific as possible and set your search results to specific time periods. This will help save time by skipping 100 articles that are not relevant or useful. Past connections are a great way to start putting pieces together.

(I made this list in like five minutes, if you really want to do a deep dive look at the guest lists from his parties in the mid 90’s and 2000’s. Then look at their connections to Drake, Kendrick, and any possible suspects.)

These past several days, however, he spent home more time than ever before. The day at the sewers with Iliya still occupied his thoughts. Besides, the young man was suspiciously quiet recently, not returning Q’s texts and never showing up at his classes.
Now that Q got his hands on the proverbial bird in the bush, he expected to experience the high he had been chasing in his fantasies since forever. Having his crush reciprocate his feelings, be so forward and open to his affection had been something unattainable but now that he had it... It failed to excite him to the point he’d expected.
What was going on?
It was a long time he had any need to call for the Turk. After all, he was usually able to figure out most of the problems for himself and didn’t rely on the AI avatar as much as in his teens anymore but it seemed like now was a good time.
“Turk?” he called, lifting his head from the arms curled on the interactive touch-sensitive desk.
“Yes?” popped up the little 3D helper, a full replica of the figure sitting on the central square save for the chessboard. Q hadn’t activated his auglasses but even so, he could see the translucent little man saluting him. The sound waves that the state-of-the-art desk generated made hearing his tiny voice audible, too. These same airwaves that produced the sound could be used to manipulate light objects on the desk surface. As a teen, Q used to entertain himself playing paper ball with the Turk: he’d flick the crumpled notebook page with his fingers along the surface and his playmate would try and goalkeep the opposite edge of the desk. It also brought Q pencils. Or reminded him to get some rest with a gentle tap on his forearm if the young student got too absorbed in an assignment.
“I’m having trouble connecting some dots,” the man said. “But I don’t think rationality will help me this time. It’s something that has to do with emotions. The data I have is patchy so wrong conclusions might be devastating.”
“It’s a common misconception, my friend, that rationality and emotions are opposite,” the little avatar said in response. It didn’t sound like it held a grudge over a long time it was kept inactive. “There’s nothing in this reality some good inferential analysis can’t deal with.”
Was the Turk really offering him to collect statistics on his sexual fantasies and deduce what might be wrong with his desires towards Iliya? The little guy never failed to make Q laugh. But the hologram looked dead serious and... even expectant?
“Shall we start then?” the Turk asked, lighting up the desk surface with a network of diagrams, arrows, formulas and symbols.
Covering his eyes in shame, Q nodded.
It was about an hour later that several things were indisputably clear.
“The first reliable prediction is that an intimate encounter with a person you find attractive is likely to be satisfying provided you’ve established some personal connection prior,” said the Turk, looking at the data glowing under his minuscule feet.
“Well, no surprise here,” Q confirmed. “Out of almost three dozen scenarios we entered, personal connection was present in nearly 95%.”
“Yes, but another attribute is also statistically significant: most of the relationship dynamics were uneven,” the Turk went on. “It’s ofter a tutor and a student, or a captive hostage and a terrorist, a survivor and a...”
“You don’t have to say them out loud, Turk!” the man flushed, pushing his index finger to cover the avatar’s mouth to make him stop. “It’s all there in writing.”
“What I mean,” the 3D model said, pushing the pad of the finger away with both hands. “Is that there’s always some kind of extreme power dynamics that you seem to enjoy... maybe too much?”
“Hmm.. That’s precisely the reason why I asked Iliya to stop calling me his teacher. I might find it attractive in my thoughts but in real life, it’s just... wrong.”
“Yes, but you’re missing something,” — it was the Turk’s favourite catchphrase. Q developed a strong distaste for this sentence which didn’t stop him from using it on his own students, however — “What is another attribute you’re ignoring?”
“I don’t know, what?”
The Turk sighed. When Q wasn’t in the mood to solve a puzzle, no amount of pointers could make him.
“In nearly all of your scenarios, it’s you who plays the submissive part, regardless of the act itself. Your partner is always the one with the power.”

Q tapped the desk again after sending the text, impatient for a response.
So this was it, wasn’t it? He didn’t feel much because it was his younger partner that assumed a submissive role. What was he expecting then? For Iliya to pin him to the wall and coax helpless sounds out of his teacher?
Ding.
HI! SORRY, BUSY TOMORROW. TEXT YOU LATER
Huh.
I WAS WORRIED YOU DIDN’T ANSWER. IS EVERYTHING OK?
He wrestled with an urge to add “between us”.
YEA. JUST DIDN’T HAVE THE COMM WITH ME
He... what?
Did Iliya take it off? What for?
OK. BE SAFE
What was that about? This was definitely a week of weird realisations. First, the inexorable statistical analysis revealed that he couldn’t enjoy an encounter unless he wasn’t the one submitting.
Now his... his what? Crush? Boyfriend? His... Iliya apparently wasn’t eager to see him despite being more than enthusiastic mere days before. On top of that, apparently, he wasn’t at all ashamed to admit he didn’t wear the comm all the time!
How come?
Of course, it wasn’t illegal or anything but it definitely warranted a closer monitoring of the wearer. No upright citizen who had nothing to hide would feel the need to take off the tracking device!
Q kicked the back on his chair and dragged his palms down his face.
Was he being paranoid again? Did the conversations with Sereen make him distrustful? Or was it because of Sereen’s influence that Iliya felt the need to play a nonconformist?
Why was it all so hard! Why couldn’t everyone just do what they’re told and live together in accord?
Knowing only one way to deal with his anxiety, Q decided to occupy his mind with the preparation for tomorrow’s lecture.

Somewhere around my head hitting the ground and that damn raccoon laughing hysterically at me, I drifted out of simple unconsciousness and into a memory. This particular memory was going to be unpleasant, I could tell that right away. It was part of the reason I left Wisconsin in the first place, that damn abandoned town of Imalone.
Something I’d always liked to do was explore, its one of the reasons I decided on somewhere like Eagles Peak in the first place when I left. It’s also the reason I ended up in Imalone. It was a new place to check out that had been left untouched for several years. As the story goes the town popped up around a gas station, the earliest any recorded records of the place include a date, is the 1940’s. For a while a church and bible camp garnered the interests of tourists and members of the church in Imalone but it wouldn’t last. One day the church closed its doors and so many of the towns residents packed up and left. Without the church and its bible camp what little revenue the place might have generated ceased to exist. After that, the town’s bones were left for nature to pick through. A few friends had relayed the story to me and I decided I just had to see it for myself. So I packed a bag one night, jumped in my car and headed out. That’s where this memory began.
I pulled off the old road embattled with undergrowth in my old Honda civic and stepped out into the night air. The town was faintly illuminated for some reason despite being abandoned years ago. The light flickering off into the otherwise pitch black forest was foreboding. For the first time that night a tiny part of me pulled back, away from the town.
“I’m sure there’s a reason as to why the power wasn’t cut. Maybe some homeless moved in or something, it was a town at one point and its not like anyones claiming this place.”
These thoughts did nothing to calm my nerves as I walked through the overgrowth and towards the town. In fact those thoughts inspired me to try and be as quite as possible.
“Just get in, see what there is to see and get out Keith.”
I was still really on edge as I came to the overgrown gas station that marked the beginning of the town and the end of the forest. Though, that border was a bit disputed as of late it would seem. A huge tree had grown in the middle of the wrecked gas station, bursting out of its windows and roof. Weeds grew up through the pavement and both old pumps lay on the ground, rusted and beaten. I walked into the decrepit gas station, searching for a way up onto the roof to see if I could find the source of the light in town. As I got inside I heard a rumble of thunder.
“Weird, the forecast didn’t call for any storms?”
I thought as lightning flashed through the sky. Briefly illuminating the room and showing me a path up the tree through the hole it bored in the roof. The flash from the lightning hung just a few seconds longer than I would’ve assumed and I swore I heard the very faint cry of a bird in the distance.
Up on the roof I dropped my bag and grabbed my binoculars. As soon as I focused them in on the town I saw a bedraggled man on a bicycle. Well, bicycle may not have been the right word as it was stationary and hooked up to a series of rusty gears. As I followed the path of rusted gears and cogs with my eyes it seemed to lead to a fallen silo. Inside this silo there was a turbine.
“They made some kind of rudimentary generator!” I exclaimed to myself, seeing the mess of wires sprouting from the far side of the collapsed silo. To call the setup ramshackle would’ve been a compliment. It looked like it was a light breeze from falling apart with all the corroded metal of the gears and turbine. I was far enough off that I couldn’t hear the contraption but I’m sure it sounded awful.
I turned my attention back to the man on the bicycle, paying more attention to what he was wearing. It was unusual to say the least. He was covered in bits of moss and dead branches all stuck to what looked to be a canvas tarp converted into some kind of robe. I couldn’t make out his face, but I imagined it would be marred with an unkempt beard, laden with bits of twigs and leaves. I put down the binoculars and put them back in my bag. Once again I felt like I shouldn’t be here, that I should just turn around and leave, but I still didn’t listen. Instead I climbed down from the roof, back into the gas station and started making my way into the town as quietly as I could. Thunder roared again as I crept through the overgrown town. This time when I heard it I was sure the flash of lighting that followed was accompanied by a distant bird’s piercing cry. It sounded like some kind of bird of prey. I shuddered but remained undeterred as I crept deeper into the town.
Eventually I came to a rotting building with half a wagon wheel attached above where its door used to be. My curiosity got the best of me and I decide to check out the building. Walking into what I could now see used to be some sort of bar, I was instantly hit with the distinct smell of mold.
“Maybe that’s why they left. Black mold has a way of clearing out the neighborhood, or so I hear” I mumbled to myself.
Bushes had sprouted up behind the bar and I thought the scene of nature taking over this building would make a good picture. I pulled out my phone and turned on the flash, as soon as the click sounded I dropped my phone. In the light of the flash I saw a figure nestled among the bushes. It was another man clothed in a similar way to the one I had seen on the bicycle. Only this time he was far closer to me and very aware of my presence. The man also wore a mask that looked like it may have been native american in origin. The mask was faded and scratched but obviously carved by an experienced hand. It resembled a bird with a large tuft of split feathers adorning the top of the mask. The man recoiled at the light of the flash at first but soon he was back on his feet. He said something as he stood but the mask muffled his voice to such a degree that I couldn’t make out a word. I jumped back screaming, it was all I could do to snatch my phone out of the air before it hit the ground as I turned and ran. As I burst back out of the building I found the street suddenly full of those ominously dressed men. I slid to a stop and looked behind me, finding my path blocked by the masked man from the bushes. I was weighing my options as thunder cracked again, louder than ever. Lightning followed with another bird like screech as loud as a train.
“SCREEEE!”
“SCREEEEET!”
“SCREEETH!”
“SKREIITH!”
“KIETH!”
“KEITH!”
I was shaken out of the memory and back into consciousness by Bianca. Shaking me from my position on the basement floor.
“Keith! Oh god! What the hell happened to you?! We found you thrashing around down here!”
Bianca screamed inches from my face, her eyes now undeniably glowing.
“There was a raccoon and, and…. It… talked” I strung together as I searched for an answer.
“You should have seen his face! He went as white as a sheet and fell like a bowling pin when I pulled the whole cat gag!” Cackled the raccoon in the corner as Bianca’s uncles stood over it glowering.
“Your eyes, They’re glowing!” I remarked, trying to change the subject.
“Yes of course they… oh damn it! I.. I’ll explain later Keith I guess you have to know now. You’ve seen enough in this basement alone to have questions. Here clean yourself up and meet us in the kitchen.”
Bianca tossed me a wet rag to try and clean the dust and sweat that had covered my face during my unconscious episode.
“And YOU Rocco, you’re going to stay here and we’re going to have a little chat about manners once I’ve cleared this mess up.”
She spit more than said, gesturing towards the raccoon who almost immediately stopped laughing and skulked off deeper into the basement.
Bianca and her uncles turned and went up the stairs leaving me alone. I washed my face off with the cloth as best I could and tried to come up with a strategy for the shit storm waiting for me upstairs. I had to come up with something believable for why I directly ignored their one rule, don’t go into the basement. Bianca had looked concerned more than angry. Had I said something while I was passed out reliving that memory? Do they all think I’m crazy now? Maybe I can use that, yeah plead insanity to them. They may send me off to a home, but If I told them I was remembering the time I got abducted by some crazy bird cultists it would definitely be the padded room for me. I pulled myself together and climbed the stairs opening the door into the last thing I would’ve expected.
Bianca was crying as her Uncles tried to comfort her. It was the first time I got a good look at her uncles. Both looked fairly old, I’d guess mid 60’s to early 70’s. One had a bald spot covering the top of his head and long har besides that with a mole on his right cheek. His face was weathered and a bit wrinkled with lines around his eyes that could only come from prolonged use of goggles. The other had a circle of hair on the top of his head but no more hair to speak of. This ones face was the mirror image of the other with the only difference being the mole on his cheek was on the opposite side. Their hair was really the only way to tell them apart.
“This one is all here at least, I’ve said before there’s a risk! You can’t just charm…”
Her uncle stopped suddenly as I walked into the room and Bianca suddenly looked up at me, Her tear stained eyes still shining an electric blue. I just couldn’t help but feel sorry for her.
“I’m soooo sorry, I never meant to end up down there but there was this meowing noise and it sounded like it came fro..”
“Stop, just stop its ok. I guess I should’ve figured you’d end up down there, Rocco likes to torment new people. But I’m sure you have questions about us.”
“Oh I sure do but we’ll start with your eyes, what’s going on there?”
This conversation lead into something I didn’t quite expect to hear, these people weren’t entirely human. There I said it, I still don’t quite believe it but Bianca’s “uncles” tried to explain it to me. Her uncles names were Frank (the one with the small hair circle) and Stein (the one with the reverse bowl cut) and they weren’t her uncles at all. They were researchers, but not for the government like she had claimed, at least not anymore. They researched the supernatural and the paranormal. Rocco was one of their more successful experiments and Bianca, well that’s a different story. Bianca is a succubus, an honest to god supernatural entity. According to Stein she can influence emotions and how people feel about her. That’s what I felt when I met her yesterday and I lost control. I didn’t lose myself, she simply took the reigns and steered me in the direction she wanted. Normally you couldn’t tell there was anything off about her aside from her stunningly good looks. But, when she got overly emotional or she was trying particularly hard to influence someone her eyes would start to glow that trademark blue. This whole time Bianca looked like a scolded puppy. She was embarrassed it seemed, though I couldn’t say if it was because she got caught or if she really felt that bad about what she had done.
After those three explained what they could in such a short time they offered to let me spend the night, or well, at least the rest of it. Frank showed me to my room on the second floor and I slipped into a dreamless sleep… for all of about an hour before I heard a knock at my door. Groggily, I stumbled to the door and snapped it open.
“What is!… oh hey Bianca.”
Bianca stood in my door, eyes no longer glowing, looking sullen.
“I wanted to apologize, I had no right I, I… it wasn’t right I should’ve given you a choice.”
“Please just, stop. Apology accepted, ok. Look I don’t even know if its me talking to you or you jerking me around again. I wan..”
“It is, I promise, I’m not doing anything to you right now, what you feel is just you.”
Binaca responded, eyes beginning to faintly glow, choking back tears.
“Oh geez I’m sorry, its just hard to know if its really me in there with your whole…. you know”
“Funnily enough that’s exactly the problem. Anyone who knows about me always stays away because they don’t know if I’m in their heads or not. There’s Frank and Stein but that’s about it, and that’s only because my powers have no effect on them for some reason. Maybe all that exposure to the supernatural all their lives gave them some kind of immunity?”
“That must be rough, I never really thought about that”
“Yeah I know, why would you.”
For some reason that last bit cut pretty deep. Could have been because of how she looked away when she said it. Like I was just yet another person who didn’t get it. To some extent she was right, I only found out about exactly what she was an hour or so before. But I still didn’t like the fact she seemed to be judging me for it.
“Anyways, what’s Imalone?”
Bianca asked, breaking the awkward silence. The question threw me off guard right away.
“What?! Where did you hear that?”
“When you were trashing around in the basement you said it a few times.”
I don’t know why, but I suddenly felt guilty as I tried to come up with something to say to dodge the question. Maybe I was just tired of trying to pretend nothing happened. That I’d moved halfway across the country to some little nowhere town for no particular reason. Maybe I just wanted to talk about it finally. Maybe I just couldn’t come up with anything convincing to say. I think, what it really was though, was the fact that no-one had been genuine with each other since this whole thing at Bianca’s house started. I never spoke up about the fact I felt something was off, Bianca manipulated me into thinking I wanted to help her, and Frank and Stein just kind of tried to stay out of the whole thing. I had to at least try and show some honesty, which is why I decided to tell Bianca about Imalone.
“Imalone is the reason I’m out here in the first place. Something happened there that really shook me up, I couldn’t stay there anymore.”
“Stay where?”
“Wisconsin, where I’m from. I’m sure I don’t sound like I’m from around here, not that you cared to ask before.” A little bit of the venom from her comment earlier seeping into my own voice.
“But I’m sure you don’t want to hear that whole story tonight…. Or this morning? What Time is it anyways?”
“Late enough that I don’t really want to go to sleep. Besides, now I want to hear this story.”
To her credit Bianca didn’t fall asleep during my story. I’m sure she had to be tired cause there’s no way she slept before this given her earlier state, but she stayed up to listen. She didn’t try to tell me I was crazy. Which is exactly how I expected someone to act hearing about Imalone. When we got to the point in the story where she had shaken me out of the memory earlier I stopped.
“There’s more isn’t there?”
“Yeah its just… hard to relive is all. Maybe it doesn’t sound all that awful now but in the moment I thought I was going to die in that little ghost town.”
Then she did something I didn’t expect. She reached out and grabbed my hand and I immediately felt calmer. The feelings of fear washing away leaving nothing in their wake.
“What are you doing?”
“Don’t worry about it just finish your story, its easier now right?”
Whatever it was she was doing she was certainly right, the fear of no-one believing me was gone and I found I was able to keep going.
"SCREEEE!” The screaming birds call resounded in my ears. So loud and unexpected that I briefly forgot I was surrounded by these strange canvas wrapped men. As I came back to my senses The one in the bird mask placed a gnarled hand on my shoulder and muttered something unintelligible. I pulled away but his grip was strong and he pushed me to the ground. The rest descended on me cackling and cheering to one another, all in words I couldn’t make out. Rain began to fall, thick and heavy as thunder rolled once more right on top of us. As the men picked me up I gazed into the sky to see something in the clouds illuminated by a flash of lightning.
The thing in the sky looked like a bird of prey, its form translucent against the dark and stormy heavens, only visible by the distortions it left around itself as it circled. Looking back down, I could see the men carrying me to the area I had seen from the top of the gas station. The bicycle sat deserted, though the lines of lights illuminating the town square still flickered, being blown around in the steadily quickening wind. What I hadn’t seen from the gas station roof was the device these people had built in the bones of an old house. The things purpose was clear, to restrain. It was constructed of wood multicolored by rot or the fact that it had originally been part of a building. Four shackles sat at the corners of the structure, each made of a different source of leather or metal. One was simply an old dog collar according to the tag hanging off of it that simply read “spot”.
The men carried me toward the structure that was giving me splinters just by looking at it. Once they arrived there they strapped me into the thing, each of my limbs splayed out in the cardinal directions as the storm raged around us. The rain tore like sandpaper at my skin as the one in the bird mask stood up on the wooden stage next to me. He “spoke” to the others, twelve by my count, in more of this gibberish language they spoke. Whatever he was on about the crowd seemed to be going wild until he held his hands up and they split down the center. I was thrashing around as best I could in my bindings this whole time. Trying to find some give in the ramshackle structure so that I might have a hope at freedom when I noticed what they had split for.
The bird from before had started to come in for a landing and it seemed huge. The beast looked to be about 10 feet tall with a wingspan almost four times that. As it flew closer to the ground lightning struck a house to my right, instantly showering us in wooden shrapnel and setting it alight. In the firelight I could finally behold the bird making its final approach to land. As the black mist surrounding it billowed away it became less translucent and more visible. I could make out Its scaly clawed talons that could’ve shredded a car, and its muscular legs that could’ve picked up that same car and thrown it with enough force to crush a building. Its head resembled an eagle and its deep blue feathers glittered in the rain, firelight, and lightning that crackled off of it and its steely grey pointed beak shown like a great and terrible razor. Once its talons had touched the ground it began to skink and warp, ultimately folding in on itself to reveal a woman, tattooed and naked as the day she was born. She had a hard angular face that demanded respect with nothing more than a glare. My eyes wandered over her body, tracing the lines of the numerous black tattoos that covered her. They were all tribal in nature, involving various wings and talons the came together in an eagle wreathed in lighting on her back. The tattoo resembled the creature she’d just been. She spoke to the masked man in a language that I immediately recognized as Algonquian from a class I took back in college. I still didn’t understand a lick of it but I had at least heard the language before.
The masked man responded with his gibberish which the woman seemed to understand. The man was visibly shaken by her and so was I. This lady radiated pure power and the air was electric. If the fact that she was naked wasn’t enough for me to try and turn my head from her bashfully, the aura she gave off was enough to make me do it out of fear. The woman finally turned to me and spoke,
“You should be honored little trespasser” Cooed the woman, grabbing my head in her hand and turning it up and toward her. With this closer look I could see her steel grey hair that whipped in the wind and her cracking white eyes that seemed to be little storms of their own.
“I’ve decided to spare you this once. Leave this place and forget.”
“And then I woke up back in my car the next day” I said to Bianca as she let go of my hand.
“Are you sure that’s all that happened?”
“Yeah, that was it. Then I started losing it with stress, always thinking I’d stumble into one of those places again. I decided it was time for a change and I moved here to get away from that feeling of being watched I had back home.”
Something about the way Bianca looked at me after I said that told me she didn’t quite buy it. I told her goodnight and rushed her out of my doorway where we had been talking after that. She was right to doubt me though, that last part was a lie. The woman had more to say to me and she certainly hadn’t mentioned anything about sparing me. Despite the calming effect Bianca had brought over me I couldn’t quite bring myself to put that last part of the story into words, at least not out loud.
The woman had told me the men brought me as a sacrifice to her, that the masked man had sought to be her “chosen” whatever that meant. Then she told me all I had to do to be free was allow her to pass a burden onto me. She would deal with these misguided men and I could go home. I’ll admit my decision was cowardly but I was scared for my life. As soon as she gave me an alternative to death I took it. The smile she cracked told me my decision was a mistake. She placed a hand on my back and white hot pain shot through my nerves. I couldn’t see but I could hear the screams. Screams that were cutoff with the brush of feathers against my cheek and the thunderous flap of wings. Thunder roared and lightning cracked, I could hear nothing but the cataclysmic storm that woman had apparently caused. Then as suddenly as it began it stopped.
I awoke the next morning in the middle of Imalone’s town square, it had been leveled and ash was strewn all around me. My clothes were singed but they would have to do on the walk back to the car. The further I walked from the town square the more the town looked as though nothing had happened last night. The ground wasn’t even wet by the time I made it back to my car, like the storm had been centered on the town square and that place alone. When I got home and went to shower I found a black mark seared into my back where the woman had touched me. The mark was a bird covered in lightning and mist, not unlike the woman’s own tattoo on the center of her back.
As that memory crept through my head another thing weighed on my conscious, see I haven’t been entirely honest with you either, whoever it may be seeing this. I didn’t leave Wisconsin just out of fear, no the dreams pushed me here as well. The dreams of storms and shrieks, the dreams of that woman speaking to me in a language I couldn’t understand, The dreams of this town.
It wasn’t random chance that I stumbled upon Eagles Peak. I had looked for places that resembled the flashes of images in my dreams. Ending up deciding that this place must be the town I’d seen. It’s also the reason Bianca’s house stuck out to me when I arrived. It may have been odd to see in this town but I’d also seen it in my dreams. When I came into town and finally went to sleep in my new house it was the first night I hadn’t dreamt in a long time. I’d done something right, or maybe wrong, who’s to say. But something about this town calmed my head, something about this town was connected to that night in Imalone. Whatever it was I intended to find out what. The only issue is I have no idea where to start.

Hello everyone!
It's been a little while since we've done a progress devlog! We have a couple of bigger changes and various small improvements across the game, so let's take a look.
As a side note, thank you to everyone who filled in the devlog survey! Based on the responses, we've made two changes to this devlog. First up, more images! We'll try to show off as much of the game as we can in blog format, though gifs didn't make much sense for today's topics. Secondly, we've tried to keep our writing a bit more to-the-point. Let us know what you think!

Game Customization

We’ve added a ton of new settings and features to customize a new start to how you want to play shapez 2. Patreons can expect these features in Alpha 21, coming soon!

Difficulty Presets
You can currently select from 5 different difficulty presets that change a handful of modifiers to change the way you play. You can customize all of these presets, or start off with the Custom preset at the bottom of the list. These presets can be changed at any time!
  • Normal: Copy/Paste is free once unlocked, but there’s a limit to how many platforms you can place.
  • Chill: Copy/Paste is free once unlocked and there’s almost no limit to how many platforms you can place. Research goal costs are decreased slightly.
  • Classic: Copy/Paste costs blueprint points, but there’s a limit to how many platforms you can place. Research goal costs are decreased slightly.
  • Logistics: Copy/Paste costs double the amount of blueprint points and there’s a limit to how many platforms you can place. Research goal costs are quintupled. Will require you to move a lot of shapes around!
  • Puzzle / Fast: Copy/Paste is free once unlocked and there’s almost no limit to how many platforms you can place. Research goal costs are minimal. Little need to optimize production or throughput.
Scenario Presets
Scenarios will allow you to completely change the game. From core mechanics to map generation, everything can be changed. For now though, we just have the normal preset and custom. When you go to edit a Scenario Preset, you get 3 tabs.

This is where you can select a scenario separate from map generation and game rules. Again, for now it’s just the standard experience and something we’re experimenting with but won’t show today.

Map Generation
Just make it a setting? Fine, we’ve made everything a setting. Aside from the Seed, you can customize pretty much everything about how the map will be generated.
At the top are the general Shape & Fluid patch settings. You can customize how many will generate, how large they start off, how much they will grow based on distance from the Vortex and the max size. For Shape patches, you can set how colorful they’ll be and how often rare shapes will appear. For Fluid patches, you can choose whether primary, secondary and/or tertiary colors are generated. Scrolling down, you can set the likeliness and minimum distance from the Vortex for each shape category. On the right, you’ll see a preview of the map you’re about to generate. You can zoom, look around or hide it if you don’t want spoilers.

Do keep in mind that with this much map customizability, there are plenty of ways to make your time very difficult or even impossible to progress. We highly recommend keeping all the settings at the default for your first playthrough.

In the last tab you can set extra rules that can really change up certain mechanics. For now, there are just two.

These settings will allow us – as well as modders – to create presets that massively overhaul the game and make shapez 2 infinitely replayable! Sharing options for map generation are being worked on.

Colors

The name of the shape color Purple has been changed to Magenta. If you’re using shape codes, this means that any use of p needs to be changed to m to work. Keep this in mind when importing shape codes from shapez 1! If you’re not familiar with shape codes, don’t worry about it.
The contrast between uncolored shapes and white ones has been increased to make it easier to keep them apart.

We’ve added two more color schemes that change all the shape colors and fluids, totaling to four color schemes. Whether you need a change of scenery or struggle differentiating certain colors, be sure to check out the other modes! They can be changed at any time in the settings.
  • RGB (Default): Red, Green, Blue, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow & White
  • RYB: Red, Yellow, Blue, Orange, Green, Purple & Black
  • CMYK: Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Blue, Red, Green & Key (Black)
  • RGB (Colorblind): Increases contrast of the default RGB colors and adds a texture

Keep in mind that the shape codes stay the same, regardless of the color scheme you’re using. In RGB, CwCwCwCw will create a white circle. In RYB, this circle will be black.

Other changes

We’ve made a large amount of changes to fluids, but we’ll save that topic for a dedicated Fluids blog.
Gameplay
There’s now a separate miner extension for fluids. Miner layouts now have a new layout, reducing the maximum amount of extensions that can be attached to a miner to 4. However, patch arrangements have been improved!

The Full Painter building has been removed. It just wasn't very practical and there was little reason to use it. The regular Painter building is still available, which colors the top layer of any shape you run through it.
Map generation has been made more interesting. The farther from the HUB you go, you'll get rare shape patches that can save you some work. Patches in general are much bigger, but everything can be customized in the map generator now!

Fine-tuned the pins shader to be more visible on top of shapes, keeping in mind the new color schemes.

The top left corner now has a button for every research tab: Milestones, Shop, Tasks, Upgrades. If you unlock something new in any of those categories, it will show a small notification marker.

Being a defensive tactician and tag specialist comes in handy! His flashy counter-fighter style is a great support role, and incredibly effective against multiple opponents. Since this will be on the road to the Thunders title shot against the Bros, expect the Drunken Monkey to continue to grind them down! He’ll be joined by another hired gun to bring down the BestBros before their title defense, this time in the form of...a food man? Who or what is 2daime Tappuri Tarako Man!? Tarako consists of plain, salted sacks of pollock or cod roe. It’s a delicious part of Japanese cuisine! But this one wrestles. There was once another version of this food to appear in the GTMV universe, but this mystrious wrestler is the second generation (not at all because Masa is the tag partner, of course). They’ll be plenty of cod roe related humor in this one...and potentially Mei trying to eat a sentient creature (again). Did you know Tarako is the roe of the Alaskan Pollock, which is actually a cod, despite its name?

Bambi finally appears in the numbered ChocoPro episodes! This whip brandishing freelancer is a product of the Kaientai Dojo (much like Hagane Shinno!) and is celebrating her 20th Anniversary in Pro-Wrestling (compared to Erii’s two months!). She has appeared in plenty of promotions across her long career...and also is a comic illustrator! Ichigaya has been attracting artists these days. Bambi’s size, power, and experience will probably give her an edge over the plucky rookie, but this will be an excellent lesson for Erii. Remember, Bambi overpowered both Obi & Mei in her last appearance!

The Popcorn Carnival continues! The always spicy Sayaka Obihiro, when paired with “Too Much Energy” Chie Koishikawa, are a high impact striking duo that will always bring it in the Square. The recently recovered Chie is a very warm presence, but even more so with her Hero, Mentor, and the chaotic Soul of Gatoh Move itself: Obi! The Blue Heart & Guard Dog of Ichigaya always leave a mark on their foes, and this time they will be further motivated to punish their juniors. It should be a fun mix of the unique fencing chops of the shark loving girl that loves to say “Hello!”, and the almost magic movement and pinning style of “Sprint” Obi. Chie's journey into counters and advanced tactics has made her a real threat! Are we gonna see some of Obi's devastating heavy chops, second only to the Oni herself? Spoilers for all of Undertale Yellow's main routes below
Undertale Yellow is a fan-made prequel to the hit indie game Undertale. While Undertale follows the story of Frisk, the seventh human child to fall into the monster ruled Underground, Undertale Yellow follows the story of their immediate predecessor. Meet Clover, the sixth human. Unlike the humans that fell before, this gun-toting cowboy is unique in the sense that their journey to the Underground was no accident. Clover entered the Underground voluntarily in order to investigate the disappearances of the previous five humans and, if it turned out they perished at some point after their fall, hoped to avenge their deaths. See, while Frisk possessed a red SOUL that embodied Determination, Clover's SOUL is yellow for the trait of Justice. Clover's journey would lead them all throughout the Underground, meeting some monsters that will be familiar to those who have played Undertale and some brand new faces as well.
Like Undertale before it, Undertale Yellow's story can be altered significantly depending on the player's actions. Perhaps Clover befriends the monsters they meet and determines they were unfairly trapped underground, deciding to sacrifice themselves to bring monster kind closer to freedom. Or maybe Clover will blame the monsters for the deaths of the previous human children, avenging them with swift cruelty. Either way, Clover will act in the way they believe they can best embody Justice.

So How Do the Fights Work Anyway?

Like its predecessor, Undertale Yellow tends to treat RPG mechanics as literal aspects of the game's world. Due to the abstract nature of fights in both Undertale and Undertale Yellow, with enemy monsters targeting Clover's SOUL rather than their physical body, it's understandable that there may be some confusion about how Clover actually scales to certain monsters. Luckily, this is a bit more clear in Undertale Yellow than it was in the original game, as the reveal trailer shows that the attacks of monster are things that Clover physically has to react to and dodge (we even see this same attack utilized in game) even though the battle menu only shows their SOUL.
But this is just for when encounters have already begun, what about before that? And what triggers encounters anyway? There's an area in the Wild East where boulders are falling onto the path that Clover needs to dodge. If they fail to avoid them, this begins an encounter too, where Clover is given the opportunity to avoid the "attacks" in the battle menu to negate damage. Other examples include Clover escaping damage from hot steam after touching it and avoiding damage from Axis' energy balls after they hit them. What this means for standard versus fights is a little vague, but it likely means that any attack that would deal meaningful damage starts an encounter and that it would be impossible to simply kill Clover with a sneak attack. Even if it hit them, Clover would still get the opportunity to dodge before the proper fight begins. That said, there is one example of Clover dying without triggering an encounter at the end of the Neutral Route. It's possible this is because it was an unescapable situation but the mechanics of it are still vague and unclear.
As seen with the previous examples such as the falling boulders and steam, it seems that attacks that hit Clover's SOUL and their physical body are more or less interchangeable. Or rather, it isn't possible to circumvent the SOUL to only hit the physical body because even attacks that hit Clover's physical body will trigger an encounter that can then be dodged or endured by the SOUL.
Finally, it's worth noting that the sizes of objects can vary from their appearances in the battle to what they look like in the overworld. We see Clover's SOUL alongside their physical body a few times throughout the game and it's pretty consistently a little larger than their torso. So this thread will describe feats with that scale in mind.

Other Things To Note

  • At the end of certain routes, Clover acquires certain abilities/powerups that don't necessarily apply to the rest of the game. Feats or items that are limited to those routes will be marked with the corresponding route.

  • Like your standard RPG's, Undertale Yellow possesses a leveling system that will increase the more enemies that Clover kills, with certain abilities being unlocked after certain levels are achieved. However, in the Genocide route Clover showed off the ability to level up rapidly simply by being filled with enough righteous fury. Abilities that are locked behind certain levels will also be marked accordingly.

Note that while Clover can store excess items in boxes they find around the Underground, they can only carry eight items in their inventory not including their current Weapon, Ammo, Armor, and Accessory. Later in the game they discovered the Dimensional Satchel which allows them to access the boxes from anywhere, but they still only have eight slots to bring into an encounter.

I was looking for hotels for an upcoming vacation, i came across one hotel which was good at decent price, it was perfect location so i enquired about it on google maps where they asked me to contact the reception for more details and gave me a mobile number. Nothing alarming at this point, hotel wasn’t very cheap or anything.
I called up the number and it was the reception desk, they asked me to whatsapp every detail like name and everything and make the pre-payment of one night (4000) on the given account number. So he could generate the receipt.
I made the payment of 3000 and withheld 1000 saying I’ll pay the rest during checkin. To which the guy agreed. Nothing alarming so far to me.
Now the guy calls me up that his assistant has generated the receipt for full amount so i need to pay full amount. Now i was alarmed so i decided to cancel my reservation and get my refund. The guy said that i need to pay remaining 1000 to initiate refund from his system or no refund at all is possible. Now i was 99% sure that this was scam but i took the chance, it was either lose 3000 or risk 1000 to get 4000 back but at least this way i will have concrete proof of scam when he refuses to refund. So i paid the remaining 1000 and asked for refund.
Now the guy calls me and says that to receive refund i need to open paytm and enter 4000 and enter my upi pin (basically pay him 4000 more) now i was 100% sure that this was scam but i acted clueless and asked him to send this instructions via whatsapp because i cant hear him. He did it all now i have all proof of build up, scam, more scam attempt, and him mocking me for asking refund. Not sure what to do with all this evidence.
Any suggestions are welcome regarding how could people avoid this scam, and what to do next, i cant let him get away. I’ve already filed complain with cyber crime dept but the chance of money reversal are negligible with them.

2024.05.16 13:01 ExcitingTrust888 Been playing this game for two weeks now and is at level 115, here are some tips and tricks that I learned along the way.

I struggled in my first week of playing but now it’s been quite a breeze on my second week. I just play the game for an hour or so and call it a day. So here are some things I learned that will be very helpful for beginners.

Firstly, definitely read the guide pinned here on the sub, it has all the important information that you need to know. Now here are my tips for you guys.
  1. Just keep breeding until you get epic/legendary children, then if you have them, use the growth potion on them so you can kickstart your empire. Just make sure they have good traits, cause it is possible to have an epic/legendary character with nothing but bad traits. You can always banish units out of your castle anyways. After you have a handful of epic/legendary adults, let the other children grow naturally so you have a steady stream of legendary children for each generation.
  2. To banish units beyond the Ruling of your King/Queen, just drop the adults off the cliff near the entrance of your castle on the left. You don’t need green units unless they have good traits. For the other colored units, you can let them leech of your food supply since they will give you packs when they die.
  3. Just remember the choices you make with the Rulings, they never change anyways. I‘ve probably seen all the options already. Also, the more races you have, the more dialog options are available. If you don’t have a specific race, some options won’t show their dialog option, like if the elves want a feast, if you only have wood elves, the high elf option won’t appear, same goes to social status. If you only have nobles, you can only choose to decline or to please the nobles instead.
  4. When something bad happens to your castle, like it gets haunted or a plague exists, the easiest way to deal with it is to choose the ”we will hunt x creatures” option. Just go to the map, choose the lowest level map with the said creatures in it, then just kill them until you meet the required number of kills. This is only easy when you are at a higher level already, if you are starting, the other choices are easier.
  5. If you are tired of waiting for the banquet or you don’t want to waste potions, if you have a weapon with a lifesteal effect that restores health on hit, just equip it on your low HP character, let them do a low level run with someone else, and then they will heal faster than sitting at the banquet.
  6. Items and gold still drop on locations even if you completed their star requirements already. The level of the item drops depend on what area you are on (1-25 drop iron items, 26-50 steel, and so on). So if you want to farm for gear and gold, just go to the lowest level location on the area, put the game on 2x speed and just let your fighters do their thing.
  7. You don’t need to get 3 stars to get to the next area, just get the required number of stars and you can move on to the next area, and come back to the other challenges later when you have better gear.
  8. The fastest way to level up is to finish your daily quest and to upgrade your workstations. Doing tip #6 is good too especially if you have the blessing for additional gold and exp.
  9. It is easier to beat the dragon with just one mage or swordsman with no shield than with multiple fighters. Just move up and down to avoid his attacks and keep spamming your skill. Other weapons are bad since their skill animations are slow.
  10. Just collect the gems, and everytime a Ruling has gems and arcane potions as options, take them. Then buy the workstations or the Legendary Pack x5. Legendary packs give you a possibility for Legendary units with good equipments, great weapons with on-hit effects, and Workstations give you more resources. what resources are important is up to you, but I would say either the furnace or the loom is your first priority. Other stuff in the market is not worth it atm. You can buy some decorations because of their bonuses, but your priority is the workstations and legendary packs.
  11. Lastly name your children so you know who’s related to who because they can’t breed if they are related.
  12. You will always have two rulings to start with when you open the game, check them first before collecting resources so you don’t make your subjects hungry or out of oil because a Ruling might use them up and you have to wait for it to refill.

2024.05.16 07:32 ThatOneRoboBro I saw an asymmetrical horror game Idea for Michael Myers, and was intrigued to check out this place to see if anyone came up with one for Freddy, but apparently no (as far as I'm aware), so here is my Idea for a "Nightmare On Elm Street: The Game" game.

This is a 1v20 game (trust me, it'll work). The plot is similar to Freddy vs Jason, where Freddy has few people knowledgeable of him, so he has basically no power. There are 3 phases, "The Myth," "The Legend," "The Nightmare." 3 people at the beginning are set as "Unfortunate Victims." These people are the only ones who remember Freddy Krueger enough that when they sleep he can possess their dreams. They are the only ones able to die, but because Freddy has 0 powers, and has to rely on the randomly generated phobias to gain more, it's easy to survive. When someone dies and the body is discovered, a police report cut scene will make everyone spawn back inside their homes, and "The Legend" phase will begin. Freddy can possess everyone's dreams now. He has some powers unlocked, and he knows the phobias of the "Unfortunate Victims." If all unfortunate victims are dead, one secret "Bitch" will be selected. If the "Unfortunate Victims" build up their courage bar to max, a cut scene will play next time he possesses their dream, which brings him to reality. The "Bitch" does not need a max courage bar for this cut scene. After he is back to reality, "The Nightmare" phase begins. He no longer needs to wait for someone to sleep to kill them, and he does a lot more damage, however, he takes more damage, is easier to kill, and can't use his powers. Now, time for specifics.
Courage: The more the courage bar is filled, the more damage and stun time Freddy takes from attacks. Can be used by the Unfortunate Victims to bring Freddy to reality. Seeing dead bodies increases courage.
Sleeping: The survivors have an energy meter that slowly decreases as the game goes on, you can use certain items to effect the meter. You can go to bed to sleep early, putting yourself at risk, but building your courage bar. Certain actions decrease energy faster. A full sleep takes 3 minutes. Other survivors can wake you up after 1 minute. Each survivor has a phobia list containing 3 phobias. Freddy will be given 3 random maps that are meant for 1 phobia each. If you are on a map that matches your phobia, you gain fear and lose courage. The more fear a survivor has, the stronger Freddy's powers are against them, ranging in 5 tiers of fear (technically 6 if you count 0). Can move around the map in a ghost state so Freddy has something to do while not possessing a dream.
Unfortunate Victims: These 3 have a goal that the others don't, instead of only preparing for Freddy to come to reality, they have to build up a courage bar, to bring Freddy to real life.
Homes: If you fall asleep in your own home, you gain a status effect while asleep. You gain a small amount of courage if you ran out of energy, and a large amount if you slept in your own bed. The homes have several hiding spots, locks, and a phone that can call other homes.
Bitches: After a Bitch is created, the Bitch will not increase in fear when they are put on their phobia map, but instead will receive a huge loss of courage. Bitches gain more energy to expend.
Powers: 4 powers are randomly given to Freddy Krueger, Freddy can select his powers if he kill all of the Unfortunate Victims before "The Nightmare" phase begins.
Freddy Krueger Powers:
Anger Issues: Gain a huge strength buff and cannot be stunned for a 10/20/30/40/50 second duration.
Punch Out: Gain the ability to use the environment to kill survivors for 10/20/30/40/50 seconds.
Speed Demon: Become much faster for 10/20/30/40/50 seconds.
Bad Dreams: Can grab a survivor and pin them to the ground, giving them a "bad dream" draining their health for a 10/20/30/40/50 second duration. Survivors can wake up these people, and when they do, they are immediately put to sleep.
No Escape: Survivors can no longer wake up the sleeping person for 10/20/30/40/50 seconds.
Mine: The person asleep loses an item, and has it replaced with a lock of hair. This item when used will immediately bring 1/2/3/4/5 people near them to the dream realm. These people can only have their fear raised and courage lowered, and cannot be hurt. The person who used the item has their courage maxed out.
Blood Transfer: The asleep person loses half of their remaining health, and you gain 10/20/30/40/50% of your health back.
Telekinesis: You gain the ability to toss around the survivor like a rag doll, dealing damage to them with the environment for 10/20/30/40/50 seconds.
Torturous Captor: Instead of killing this survivor, you can decrease their courage meter by 10/20/30/40/50%
Silent Breath: Killing the survivor 10/20/30/40/50 seconds after this ability is activated removes the dead body and leaves behind a lock of hair that, by default, puts 2 people to sleep.
Skills and Weaknesses are also randomly generated, and you know what? I'll let you guys say the skills and weaknesses each side should be able to have in the comments. Have fun!

Peering down into the now exposed cavern, I wondered what was in there and consequently how I would even get down there. Ordering my marauder to back up a bit so that they would not fall though or anything of the sort, I began floating back up to the surface before blipping over to the factory and more specifically the modification station. Flipping through the menu screen, I quickly whipped up a modification to my crabs so that they would have a searchlight sitting on their claw arm so that they would not have such a hard time seeing the mines. Drifting back over to the mining outpost, I began ordering for the on site construction crew to begin constructing the new lights onto a few volunteers. As they began the process of constructing the modifications for my crabs, I began gathering up a few flight capable drones from the factory since I doubt that my hounds and ants would have a very good time climbing down a eighty plus degree slope down to the bottom.
Perhaps I should have a few of the hornets have some of the searchlights as well. Certainly couldn’t hurt to have some extra lights. Thankfully at the factory there was a much more sizable spider drone presence so my hornets were equipped with the searchlights quickly enough and were able to reach the mining outpost just about when my crabs got theirs as well. Ordering my drones to begin venturing down into the mineshaft, I was finally able to properly see down in the mines although I suppose I had not turelly needed to. I wonder if this would help the rest of my drones ability to mine out ores. The lack of light surely hasn’t stopped them so I guess they probably can see better down here that I could. As we ventured through the mineshaft, I took the time to look around and found that the tunnels which had been carved out looked to have many small patches missing, presumably where they had found valuable ores and the like. Before long we reached the opening to the cavern which looked to be somewhat expanded by the marauders sub drone harvesters.
Ordering my newly equipped crabs to use their search lights in order to light up the cavern a little bit, I was able to quickly enough make out the forms of what had to be organic life which was rather surprising. Squinting my eyes, I was able to see the vague forms of large fungus-like shapes covering the entirety of the rather large cavern like a warping forest which seemed to be perfectly fine with growing on every available surface. Looking over to my hornets and vultures who had volunteered to take a look, I ordered them, along with the harvesters from the marauder, to begin flying down and begin looking around the area. Switching my perspective over to one of my hornets equipped with the searchlights, I watched as they began to descend down to the bottom of the cavern and where the dozens and dozens of tree sized mushrooms and fungus sprouted out from the ground and created a canopy of sorts.
As we descended, I was able to see that every available spot on the surface of the floor was absolutely covered in moss and fungus which had taken root in whatever rocky soil which they could find. As we continued to look around the cavern, one of my hornets seemed to have managed to spot some sort of constructs near the far end of the cavern and soon enough the hornet which I was watching through linked up with the rest of my force as they moved towards the buildings. As they approached the structures, I was able to make out the general shape of the buildings which looked to be rather squat with the occasional second floor which I took as a sign that they were either rather small or there was more underground. With the help of the searchlights, I was also able to see that the constructs seemed to be absolutely infested with the fungus and moss along with a large amount of other dark growths which stretched out from the insides of the building.
Huh, maybe this is where all the fungus had come from. Perhaps it’s a research building that’s focused on botany or something. Floating down to ground level with the rest of my drones, I ordered one of my hornets to open the doors leading into the building proper which they promptly did so by firing their spike launcher into the joints of the door which caused it to be blown off its hinges. A bit overkill but hey, I’m not complaining. Sending a couple drones into the breach to make sure that there were not any hostile contacts in the building, I made sure to have the rest of my drones on high alert for any signs of activity as something about this place was making my nerves stand on end. Upon the confirmation of no hostile contacts present, I ordered the rest of my drones to enter the building as well, minus a couple of hornets I decided to leave guarding the entrance while the rest of us began making our way through the maze of corridors.
Entering into the building, I saw that the place looked to be just as abandoned as all the other buildings in the city, however this place seemed to not even be touched by ferals and the like looking for shelter. Sure everything looked to be messed up but I could not see a single trace of activity in the rooms as we moved through the corridors methodically, keeping our spike launchers at the ready at all times. Entering a research room of some sort, I saw a large amount of glass containers which looked to have at one point helped strange plants and funguses although most of which had died long ago whenever this place was abandoned to its fate. I guess this helps confirm that this place was some sort of research building focused on plants and stuff. As we continued to make our way throughout the building, my drones and I found more and more of the black tendrils which covered the ground and were familiar in some way, however I could not place my finger on it.
Eventually after looking through a handful more rooms filled to the brim with plant specimens, my drones and I encountered a stairwell leading both down into the underground and upwards to the second floor. I made note that the downwards stairwell had a larger than usual amount of the black tendrils which snaked out from the stairwell before infesting the rest of the building. Deciding that I did not wish to go down there, I sent about half of my force down while I and the rest of my drones went up the stairs and checked out the second floor where there were noticeably less tendrils. As my hornets clambered up the stairs, noticeably avoiding the black vine like tendrils whenever possible, I noticed that there seemed to be some artificial light coming from above which was strange, I would have assumed that all the power had been disabled for these ruins.
Moving closer to the source of the light, we eventually entered what looked to be a control room with a large amount of screens and control panels, most of which were entirely deactivated and in some cases destroyed outright. All except for one which seemed to be a simple control panel with a large amount of lights associated with various sections of the compound like the power generators and various research rooms. Looking around, I eventually found a key stating which faintly blinking meant what and quickly began transcribing each of the dim lights which were still finding enough power to give off a noticeable glow. First to gain my attention was the power generators which were flashing a red light stating that they were completely down, however looking at the auxiliary power systems, they were glowing a faint yellow which stated that they were still at least partially functioning. Guess that explains where this thing is pulling the power from, the pitance that it is.
Continuing down the line of blinking lights, I see that most if not all of the systems making up the building and a few of the other, much smaller, buildings surrounding this one seemed to be more or less non-functional which should be expected given that this place had been abandoned for at least a couple decades. As I reached a few lights noted as containment units and found that most were deactivated or destroyed, I received a few messages from my drones I had sent downwards stating that they had found something that I should probably have a look at. Slipping out of the hornet I was currently in and transferring over to one of the hornets down stairs before coming face to face with what they had found. Floating around, suspended by some sort of force field was a disgustingly large bulbous black clump of flesh with faint blue marks and bulbs dotting around its body. Why in the seven hells does this place have a rot specimen? Sigh, I guess this explains where all the power which the still functioning generators is being pumped into. At least it hadn’t gotten out of its containment, that would make this ten times wors- … waaait a minute.
Looking down to the ground where the black tendrils snaked across the floor leading to two other containment units which were worryingly not activated and had two, thankfully smaller, iterations of the rot simply laying there, as if hibernating. Shit! Alright maybe if we back up slowly they won’t notice our presence. It was then the two rot clumps and their many tendrils began pulsating before marks and bulbs on their body began to glow a faint blue and some began to move. Alright, change of plans. Everyone RUN! My drones were quick to obey as they powered on their wings and bolted for the stairwell as the tendrils began writhing as if searching for my drones. One even lurched out and grabbed one of my hornets as they attempted to escape the building, dragging the poor drone to the ground and more tendrils moved in to help keep down my struggling troops who fought valiantly which thankfully diverted tendrils which were dangerously close to my other drones to quickly flew up the stairs and out of the building.
A few tendrils attempted to stop our escape however my hornets quickly fired their launchers and pinned those to the walls of the building and my harvester sub drones proved to be rather effective as they cut right through the rot tendrils that got close. Taking to the skies as quickly as they could, I could see that the rest of my drones seemed to have managed to get out unmolested by the rot tendrils which were definitely not as numerous as the ones underground and they were now covering the rest of my drones retreat as they fired their launchers and cut down any tendrils which got close. Linking up with the rest of my drones, my various hornets quickly turned their own spike launchers to bare against the tendrils, managing to land a few shots before I ordered them to fall back as one of the rot tendrils lashed out and nearly swatted another one of my hornets out of the sky which I decided was too close for comfort.
Turning around as we flew back to the mines and the rest of my drones, I watched as the far side of the cavern where the facility was began to pulse blue as the rot emerged from its slumber and began moving through the fungus forest. I have no idea how the rot works but given that they’re fleshy, I suspect that letting them feast off of the mushrooms is probably going to bite me in the ass later. Slipping out of the hornets as the flew back to the outpost, I began scrambling to assemble as many fire beetles as I could from all of my territories as they had been proven to be one of my best anti-rot drones meaning they would be instrumental in fending off those things from escaping the cavern. As it would turn out, I was rather lacking in the fire beetle department as I could only assemble about a dozen of them which means that I would have to wait a bit before I could start deploying them en masse.
Deciding to make the process as quick as possible, I began ordering for the construction of fire beetles from every available small drone works in my territory but it would still take a while for them to all fabricate and be transported over here, especially from places like the warehouse outpost and the newer outposts near the front lines. While I waited, I continued to watch as the rot began infesting the cavern with reckless abandon and from where my crab was standing, I could see as one after another the large fungus trees toppled over to be consumed by the rot. As the fungal forest was being consumed by the now fully awakened rot, I began wondering whether or not they would be able to use their newly acquired food supplies to create more of the damned tendrils or even more rot clusters. At least there’s only two, maybe three, of them down there. Hopefully my fire beetles will be able to burn the forest down before the rot gets a chance to eat all of it.
Speaking of which, my drones, a few of the suicidal drones had arrived from the factory and were already making their way down the mine shaft over to my position. Once they arrived, I gestured to a few of my hornets who quickly picked up the four fire beetles before flying down to the base of the cavern before placing the fire beetles amidst the fungal forest which they promptly began burning down to the ground. Hopefully they would be able to burn down at least half of the mushroom tree before the rot could eat it or to my beetles for that matter. Watching as the cavern began to glow a bright reddish orange, I decided to check up on the rest of my territory as I waited for more of my beetles to finish being fabricated and transported over to the mining outpost. Deciding to check on my forces in Ping’s territory first, I drifted over to the outpost that my forces had helped Ping take back which was now returning to what I was guessing was its full capacity.
Checking up on my drones which I had managed to rescue from enemy territory, I found that most had been repaired back to functionality and were now going about their duties which mostly revolved around helping out Pings drones with the various patrols or, if my spiders deemed them unfit, working to assist with the movement of supplies around the outpost along with some light salvaging. A fair amount of my veteran drones had been sent back to whatever force I had taken the form, mostly the force at Churn’s front line with the occasional drone working in pseudo retirement which garrison or mine work afforded them. After all, they were likely needed more at Churn's front line where active fighting was still occurring on a regular basis rather than in Ping’s territory where the corrupted AI was being pushed back as Ping got their feet under themselves as they began pumping out drones and defenses.
Checking up on the outpost which Churn had lent me, I found that the enemy force had begun moving back into the now destroyed production hub however not in any significant numbers as the outpost was likely deemed to be not worth the effort of putting a large garrison there. The forces present were likely only there to inform them if I was making moves to attack more of their territory so that they could make the proper adjustments. Thankfully this newly established enemy garrison could not stop my stealth hounds as they occasionally sent back a member or two of their number to inform me of what was going on in enemy territory. In Coopers stead, one of the next most senior drone which happened to be an ant had been receiving the most recent of reports from the stealth hounds which mostly consisted with random enemy movements and caravans which did not really affect me given that I was not willing to start sending out my force to being taking the fight to the next enemy stronghold, at least not while my forces in Ping were still criminally understaffed and my resource stocks were at a minimum.
Perhaps once things stabilize and more resources become available I will begin tasking my force with attacking however until then I was content to sit around on the defense. The thought of constructing more stealth hounds until I could start having them raid caravans briefly flittered across my mind but I quickly cut that off and stored it in my head for later use once the whole situation with the rot back in the mines is resolved. Speaking of which, as I finished reading through reports and stamping away thoughts of pressing the attack while my supply lines were strained, I received the message stating that the first batch of fire beetles were now finished construction and were beginning to be collected by the subway system and would soon be delivered to the mining outpost. Good, the longer I wait, the more dangerous those things will probably become. Hopefully my beetles will be able to handle whatever they encounter down there.
Floating back over to the mining outpost and down to the cavern entrance, I could see that the initial four fire beetles had done a good job at burning down what they could as I was able to easily see that well over half of the forest had been light ablaze as the fungal trees caught fire and whatever moisture the mushrooms had were quickly evaporated. Regardless, the rot still continued to feast upon the biomass that they could get their tendrils on and from where I was watching I could easily see that nearly a quarter of the fungal forest had been completely taken over and infested with rot puss as the area where the rot had infected began glowing blue as their residue began to take place and fester. Hopefully the fires will also be able to burn some of the rot along with the mushroom trees before the rest of my beetles arrive and with some luck take down whatever is left. But for now I watched the flames as they spread and burned down everything in its path.

We talk about passwords a lot (common passwords and password strategies) but we don't talk about pins as much.
This week on his podcast Steve Gibson talked a little about pins. Here are the show notes. He cited a summary of 3.4 million real-world 4-digit pins (from data breaches) plotted in graphic form with first 2 pin digits on vertical axis (scaled 0 to 99) and 2nd 2 digits on the horizontall axis (also scaled 0 to 99) as shown in this graphic
The bright colors are more frequent. You can see a bright diagonal line, which means people are prone to making the 3rd and 4th digits a repeat of the first and 2nd (for example 4747). And the brightest points on that diagonal line are where all 4 digits are the same like 0000, 2222, 7777, 8888. And also 6969 was a popular pin.
There is also a bright horizontal line with vertical values 19 or 20 representing years (probably birth years) with the highest concentration being around 1965 to 1990.
And there's a bright horizontal rectangle between 1-12 on the vertical axis and 1-31 on the horizontal axis probably representing mostly birthdays in form MMDD. And a ligher vertical rectangle between 1-12 on horizontal axis and 1-31 on vertical axis representing birthdays in the form DDMM
But the real kicker, out of those 10,000 possible 4 digit pins, the top 20 most-common pins (0.2%) make up 27% of pins in the set. Those top 20 are: 1234 0000 7777 2000 2222 9999 5555 1122 8888 2001 1111 1212 1004 4444 6969 3333 6666 1313 4321 1010.
There are a variety of pin applications with different requirements and considerations. But using something like a birth year or birth day probably isn't a good idea. You could generate a random numeric pin using the bitwarden password generator and unchecking everything except for digits. You may want it to be memorable though. People may have a variety of ways to extract obscure memorable numbers from real life or invent memorable numbers...

I'll share one way I came up with to generate memorable pin numbers (or at least re-creatable, as long as you remember the seed word):
  1. Come up with a seed word that has the same number of letters as your desired pin.
  2. Convert every letter to a number by its position in the alphabet (A=1, B=2... Z=26)
    • For example if your letter is P that corresponds to 16
  3. Multiply each number by 3 (*)Note1
    • same example, 3x16 = 48
  4. Take the last digit of each number, that is the corresponding pin digit.
    • same example, last digit of 48 is 8
  5. Put all the pin digits together
  6. OPTIONAL you can add a step 2.5 (between steps 2 and 3) to take only the last digit of the letter number from step 2 before multiplying by 3 in step 3... this makes the multiplication easier, but gives the same result
    • Same example
      • step 2: letter P gives letter number 16
      • step 2.5: last digit of 16 is 6
      • step 3: 3x6 gives 18
      • step 4: => last digit of 18 is 8, same as before (last digit of 3x6=18 is the same as last digit of 3x16=48 as expected, because... math).
The above procedure (steps 2 thru 4) map the letters to digits as follows:

As you can see it spreads the 26 letters out over the 10 digits pretty well. There are 4 digits (1,4,7,0) assigned 2 characters each and 6 digits (3,6,9,2,5,8) assigned 3 characters each.
As an example if my word is ORCHID then my pin would be 549472.
It's not great from an entropy perspective. A 6 digit random pin represents one of a million possible 6 digit pins, but my 6 digit example could be derived from one word "orchid" which is probably among the 8000 most common words. But personally I take a tiny bit of credit for obscurity of the method (at least until I posted it on reddit, whoops) and it's not like this is a master password (typically a pin is backed up by physical security).... and more importantly this can give a pin which is memorable /recreatable and sometimes that factors into the decision.
(*)Note1 - You could use the same procedure multiplying by 7 (instead of 3), and the 26 letters would again spread out over the 10 digits... but the multiplication is a bit harder. Or you could multiply by 1 (instead of 3) and the multiplication is trivial and the letters would again spread out over the digits... but in that case the procedure is less obscure.

2024.05.16 00:10 5yleop1m Whats wrong with my config, ABL keeps starting with the probe off the bed.

When ever I start the bed mesh generation the initial point starts at what would be 0,0 instead of the given 40,0. This is not good because the probe is off the bed at this point but the nozzle isn't, meaning the nozzle collides with the bed.
Any idea why this is happening? My config is below. Klipper version: v0.12.0-190

Are there any tips or best practices for moving 2 lines from Verizon to Visible?
Should we do one, wait for it to complete, then the second? Or can we do them all at once?
Should we port the secondary line “first” and then port the account owner line?
I’ve turned off number lock and am going to generate a pin here shortly. I know Verizon to visible isn’t a “port” but a transfer but want to make sure to do it properly to minimize issues.

Bit of a longer post, sorry bout that, but I felt it was time, perhaps once again, to point out the flaws and limitations in the CDC’s stats on sexual violence, specifically as they relate to the National Intimate Partner Sexual Violence Survey (NISVS), which is the source of all the fun stats on sexual violence that get thrown around by the 451 percenters. Who are the 451 percenters? Those the folks who believe and spread the lies bout sexual violence being endemic to society. Everyone’s a sexual predator! All 451 percent of women are violated, and all 451 percent of men are violators.
TL;DR: An analysis and rebuttal to the CDC and NISVS’s statistics on sexual violence. The CDC uses NISVS to generate the stats on punny sexual violence that make wild claims, like one third of all women, etc… the 451 percenters’ claims bout punny sexual violence. They use a ‘yes means yes’ method of determining what counts as punny sexual violence, which is aesthetics based. Elevating aesthetical concerns to ethically obligatory concerns is fascistic, and a grave moral fallacy. ‘Yes means yes’ is also puritanical, meaning it overly moralizes sexuality. Putting puritanical fascists in charge of determining how many punny sexual offenses are happening is like putting the KKK in charge of determining how many jews are sexual predators. “All 451 percent of them, obviously!”
Body Of The Post
‘Yes means yes’ is an aesthetical ethical concern, ‘Do I want it or not’. This is what the National Intimate Partner Violence Survey (NISVS) and the CDC use and reflect in their stats on sexual violence. Vibes. They are the ‘emmitt till got what he deserved’ crowd. Whistling at a lady is a criminalizable offense to these folks, a ‘punny sexual violence’.
‘No means no’ is an ethically obligatory concern, ‘Did I refuse it or not’. This is what the criminal stats on sexual violence use and reflect in their stats on sexual violence. Hard data. They are the ‘emmit till did nothing wrong’ crowd. Whistling at a lady is at most tasteless, emmitt till could do far better.
‘Wanting’ or ‘Not Wanting’ something does not consent make. I can want to fuck someone, but not consent to do so. I could not want to fuck someone, but nonetheless consent to do so. The former perhaps because I think it is a bad idea to fuck ‘em even tho I want to. The latter, perhaps because I think it is a good idea to fuck ‘em even tho I don’t want to.
The ‘yes means yes’ folks, the CDC & NISVS stats on sexual violence all mistake ‘wanting’ and ‘not wanting’ for ‘consenting’ and ‘not consenting’; these are not the same things. This is deliberate on their part too. They believe that ‘yes means yes’ is what ought to constitute a determination of sexual violence. Regardless of how y’all view that, it is a deeply controversial notion, and not necessarily reflective of what most people think of when they think of sexual violence.
‘Unwanted’ essentially means ‘I don’t like it’. It is a complaint bout the aesthetical qualities of the sexual encounter, not its consensualism. If this is at all unclear, the simplest method to understand why this is so is to note two unrelated aspects.
One is racism. People regularly ‘feel fearful’ of men for no reason at all, but they also feel fearful of men because of racism all the time. That fear factor ™ is what makes the encounter ‘coercion’ or ‘unwanted’. The person literally does nothing wrong, *just exists* and the other person freaks out.
Note in the quoted sections at the end of this post how much of the stats rely on fear and feelings to generate their numbers.
Two is the person came on too strong or in an undesirable way. The person flirts in a normal and perfectly fine way, but the other person freaks out. Think bout it people, for the love of god think bout it. ‘Coming on too strong’ and ‘an undesirable flirtation’ are being counted as ‘punny sexual violence’ in these stats.
It’s entirely puritanical, and entirely a concern bout aesthetics.
There are other sorts of coercive methods, but the point here is that the terms ‘unwanted’ and ‘coercion’ only really cash out as ‘I don’t like it for some reason or another’ in the CDC’s and NISVS’s stats.
When you see that lady spouting off bout her fears of mexican rapists, she’s reflected in these stats folks. They’re just surveys. People who lock their car doors in ‘bad neighborhoods’ are reflected in those stats.
These all translate to ‘I felt threatened’ (big black boy vibes) or ‘felt pressured’ (scary white guy vibes), or ‘felt in danger’ (native american coming to get you vibes), or ‘felt uncertain if you wanted it’ (arab terrorist vibes) or 'felt like I was being manipulated' (angry asian martial artists vibes) . Doesn’t have to be racism at play here either, women can be irrationally fearful of any man. Vibes.
The actions themselves are not criminalizable.
Non p-hacked stats try to avoid these kinds of obvious ambiguities in the language used to generate the 451 percenters’ stats. These folks however lean into the lies and deceptions, and deliberately use language designed to deceive people reading the stats into thinking that people have been harmed. They take language that means literally ‘I like or don’t like it’ and translate that to mean ‘I was sexually harassed, sexually assaulted, or even raped’.
This is how they inflate the numbers, so we get to the 451 percenters’ wacky ass beliefs; ‘451 percent of women will suffer egregious sexual violence to them at least fifty times in their lives’. All this means is vibes. 451 percent of women get some bad vibes bout some dudes.
You can hear it echoed in the bear or man discourse. Why do women choose the bear? Vibes and irrational fears. ‘We choose the bear because we don’t feel safe!’ translates directly to ‘Emmitt till whistled at me, and he’s a big black boy, that’s scary’ and ‘the mexican rapists are swarming over the border to get me’.
These are the stats that people point to when they try to justify their misandristic hot ass takes. They are self-referential to that same fear based aesthetic the stats are. The stats are reflective of peoples’ irrational fears, and people use those stats to justify their irrational fears, and people spread those fear based stats thereby spreading their unjustified fears. It’s a circle rub.
To criminalize these kinds of things is to be fascistic (treating aesthetics as if they were of obligatory concern), to believe that they are morally reprehensible is to be a puritan (overly moralizing sexuality).
The folks deriving these stats translate ‘unwanted’ (aesthetical ethics) to ‘sexual assault’, ‘sexual harassment’, or ‘rape’ (obligatory ethics), then lump everything together as ‘punny sexual violence’ to get the big numbers used to scare people and terrorize men. That’s called fascism.

There is no lie nor hyperbole in what I am saying here. That is the rationale and the method. If you bone up on your academic lit in the topic, this is, well not verbatim what they say, I am lambasting them here, but this is the crux of what their argument and justifications are, and they explicitly hold that they ought be propagandizing people to their puritanical beliefs.
They push the fascistic (aesthetical ethical) and puritanical (overly moralized sexual ethics) discourse into the public by presenting stats that merely reflect fears and pretend that they are reflective of sexual violence. People then come to believe that those kinds of fear based concerns are actually sexual violence. An ‘unwanted flirtation’ becomes in their minds and only in their minds a sexual violence.
Emmitt till got lynched for whistling at a lady. They only disagree bout the racism, but he definitely deserved to be punished in some way like all men do for whistling at someone they think is hot af. Puritanism.
All just vibes, all but aesthetics, and all fascistically raised to a level of ethically obligatory concern.

But don’t worry, the statisticians know better. They asked you an unrelated question you said yes to since you were too dumb to know that you were raped, and counted it as rape. Then they informed you that you ought be afraid of everyone in your community, lest they also rape you, unbeknownst to you of course. But again, don’t worry, the statistician will count those too.
As a measure of fear the 451 percenters capture, well or worse who knows, all the racism, sexism, bigotry, and various phobias in the society, and how those fears are transferred onto masculine bodies as imaginary perpetrators of punny sexual offenses. None of it is real, there are not 451 percent of sexual violences happening, 451 percent of men are not sexual predators, and 451 percent of women are not victims of sexual violence.
‘Safety culture’ mostly reflects irrational fears.
Ask the kkk how many black people are rapists, you’re gonna get a high number. Ask puritans how many people are punny sexual offenders, you’re going to get a very high number. Such is the most tame interpretation of what is going on. The 451 percenters are puritans, they’ve overly moralized sexuality, counting offenses to their sensibility rather than criminal actions.
Puritans informing you how ‘vile and wicked’ your sexual ways are; advocating to make their puritanical beliefs bout punny sexual offenses into legally enforceable laws. These are the same kinds of concerns bout a someone dressing too provocatively, such is a ‘punny sexual violation’ to the sensibilities of others.
The less tame version of this is that it is exactly what fascists do. Lie to people especially bout punny sexual offenses in order to ratchet up the fear levels in the population, so they run to them to solve the ‘problem’.

Either way, their misandry murders little boys. They celebrate terrorizing men, and rejoice in lynching folks. They’re despicable people.
Solutions?
Ruthlessly love them. Write them love poems, show them kindness and generosity of spirit, but give them not a dime in money, nor ever relent to their irrational fears. Extol their beauty and virtues, make love with them, utterly ruthlessly. Be overtly sexual bout it, in this give them no quarter, bring to an end their puritanism by giving them no plausible cause to be thus. No one under the duress of loves’ enticements and sexual pleasures be puritans. Be relentless, show them masculine sexuality; give them nothing to complain bout, but give them masculine sexuality. Don’t fall for their puritanism, be the boys of summer.
Respect a ‘no means no’ ethic as a code of obligatory actions. Use aesthetical ethics towards good sex with mutual respect given; don’t ever take that as a one way thing. Do not conflate the aesthetics of good sex, 'enthusiastic yeses’ with those of the ethics of obligation ‘no means no’. Don’t be puritans, don’t be fascists, be sex positivists.
Call out the stats when folks bring them up, refer people to these points, feel free to refer people to this post and/or the attached video. ‘But the CDC said’ is not a valid argument; they have put puritans in charge of determining punny sexual offenses. They find punny sexual offenses everywhere they look.
If you’re super coolio, start advocating against the CDC’s use of NISVS to determine what constitutes sexual violence. It doesn’t match with criminal data’s methods, it doesn’t utilize the metrics of ‘no means no’ which are the proper metrics to use, instead it utilizes what amounts to peculiar beliefs bout the aesthetics of sex as a means of measure for punny sexual offenses.
They are spreading a puritanical belief system bout punny sexual offenses, nothing more, and they are causing public health problems by spreading their lies. They are not counting sexual offenses, they are not a criminal justice system, they aren’t technically even in the business of understanding sexual violence. They are the Center For Disease Control, not the ‘center for social engineering sexual practices control’.
