I saw multiple post proposing rewards for linking your PlayStation accounts, so let's stop for a moment and try to think about reasoning behind it.
We know for a fact from community managers that main reason is moderation right? I'm imagine that linking your PS account adds additional layer of data collection about you, e.g. IP addresses, geo, some kind of system information (CPU, RAM, screen resolution, etc.). Typically you would use this information to cross-reference different accounts, for example if someone registered 2 times and playing from same PC, you can check if signature formed from this paraments close from one to another, and tell if it's same PC.
Can it be done using Sony software without linking PS account? Most certainly yes, but it would require additional development from arrowhead: creating some kind of stabs in Sony software and passing info there. Managers typically want to solve problems without development, because development is expensive.
Now let's get back to idea of rewards for linking accounts: griefers and cheaters would not go with optional linking because they know it's throw away account, they have no reason to do it, since they would be banned anyway. I've been struggling with BSOD issues for 2-3 years now, and it's gotten progressively worse, to the point where my PC is unusable. BSODs happen within 10 minutes of boot, guaranteed. After investigating software causes, down to re-installing a fresh copy of windows (to no avail), my friend and I gutted the hardware and replaced everything except the CPU. It WAS a pre-built but now I've re-built it myself. We have Ship Of Theseus this motherfucker and it's still failing.
First we replaced the GPU, motherboard, and upgraded the PSU to help power the new stuff. BSOD within ten minutes. We thought for sure I had a faulty disk. Overnighted a new drive (and new fans.) Unplugged my old drives from the mobo and installed the new NVMe drive. BSOD before I could even install windows via boot drive usb stick. I got 7 BSODs before I could speedrun the Windows install screens fast enough to be able to sign in at least.
The only perpiherals I have plugged in are a keyboard and mouse that are fully wired only. PC is wired into my 5g modem via ethernet cable. No bluetooth and no wifi anywhere.
My PC, currently, all 100% new parts except that cpu:

I'm so confused and at a loss. How do I get a driver error BSOD with no fucking drivers and not even Windows fully installed?? Is it cursed? Do I have a poltergeist?

Like the title above says, I believe my mom doesn’t actually want me to get top surgery. I know minors getting surgery is a touchy subject, but I feel like I have nowhere else to turn to for this situation. First off, I’m 16 and have been out as a trans male for over 4 years. I’ve binded all throughout that time and it has caused significant pain for me in the last year or two, I’ve had back pain even when I was younger and I believe my binder caused it to get worse. I’m just coming up on year one of being on testosterone, and I’ve loved all of the changes I’ve had. But the pain I wake up with everyday is definitely dampening my journey, along with my family’s insensitivity.
I’ve been trying to get this surgery done, but unfortunately I’m on state insurance in WA so they’re even less likely to pay for it than private insurance. I felt so upset the first time I heard that me getting an adequate result with my surgery and not having to pay out of pocket was going to be nearly impossible, so I decided to look for a job, even if my back issues worsened. I had no luck in finding said job, over 6 months I didn’t get one interview. My mom and brother have been very supportive in my journey, but I’m starting to doubt that more and more. My father is not present in my life, and before anyone says anything, he is in a cult and I of course don’t want to be involved in that.
One very important thing that I have to mention, is that my mother has over 250 K in savings. I mentioned this to her because she let it slip when we were talking about Terrifier 2 and the budget was only 250 K and she was shocked that a movie had less of a budget than the amount of savings she has. I approached her about the subject a while ago, and she brushed it off by saying that it’s “in stocks” and she got pretty defensive after I said that.
I managed to figure out how much she gets taxed on those stocks because I was essentially faking worry for our finances, I found out that she only gets about 5 to 10% taken away in taxes so at the very most she would lose 20 K. Another thing, is that the credit card company that we have has a credit card loan for any amount and it’s specifically for plastic surgery. For anyone that doesn’t know, top surgery is not considered a medical necessity as it’s considered more of a cosmetic issue than a medical one, unfortunately. So the loan would include top surgery for that loan, not to mention the loan is 0% interest for 5 to 10 years. Which is as far as I know, a very good deal when it comes to loans and interest rates according to a 16-year-old.
Here are the list of things my family has done so far:

• My mom thought it would be a good idea to say “maybe you’re trans because you got sexually assaulted” on the way to my therapists office to get my note to start testosterone. (Btw I knew I was trans before that happened for nearly three years so there should be no doubt in her mind about me being trans after that long.)
  
• She thought that threatening to take my medication away would get me to do things faster, like doing the dishes, laundry, etc. She even threatened to use my deadname again if I didn’t, which one of her friends suggested (a cisgender one at that).
  
• My mom wanted to go to Thailand because of how “progressive” it was and that it was cheap, even though my brother is mixed and definitely looks black and Asia isn’t known for its acceptance towards black people at all. Also transgender acceptance in Thailand is not good at all, the most prominent one being that to change your gender marker you need to get bottom surgery. Which is a very costly and painful procedure to go through, all just to change a fucking letter. Me telling her all this led to a dispute between her and me, to the point where she had said and claimed that my transgender identity was a “stupid thing” and considered me to be selfish for pointing out the things that were wrong in that country and why it wouldn’t be a good idea for us to move there.
  
• One of the more prominent things is that I attempted suicide nearly 2 years ago, and that was over a dispute between me, my brother, and my mom about the issues that I faced with them and how my needs were being completely disregarded and their feelings were more “valid” than mine. I’m not a very emotional person. I would like to preface that with saying that my emotions were on a high when that happened. My mother and brother were both yelling at me and consistently saying that I was insane and crazy for saying all these things. In short, when my mom came to visit me in the hospital when I was a recovering, she claimed that I was manipulating her and trying to make her feel bad. My brother did not visit me in the hospital during the two days that I was there. I did not have any comfort during those days, and I have not received one apology for the way that they treated me during that whole incident. I could have died, and I almost nearly did or I would’ve had severe damage done to my liver and had to take anti-rejection meds for my liver for the rest of my life if I took more pills.
  
• My mom has repeatedly not supported me during every single part of my transition, whether that was accepting my name or starting to use different pronouns. She always made it seem like it was about her, she made fun of my name behind my back to my brother when I first told her about it. She also made a huge deal when she messed up on my pronouns and made it seem like I was being dramatic, during the medical aspects of my transition she has continued to degrade me and threaten to take it away just simply because I haven’t cleaned something up or haven’t done exactly what she asked right when she said it like most teenagers do.
  
• my mother has had a breast reduction. She had it done about five years ago I’d say, she always said that her breasts brought her great pain in her back and posture. Yet, she seems to think that that doesn’t apply to me in any way. I almost nearly forgot that she had a breast reduction, but it just dawned on me how hypocritical it is that she can have a breast reduction but I cannot, even though I have gender dysphoria and she does not.
  

- more recently, I asked her if she had been reading any anti-transgender legislature or articles about trans people. She had said that she has and that she supports me fully, of course, but only a few days later she had said to me that transgender woman should not be playing “biological woman’s sports”. To which I was flabbergasted, at the fact that my mom says in claims that she is an ally to trans people but says that trans someone have a “biological advantage.” she brought up Leah Thomas, a trans woman, who was in a woman’s swimming team and “got a better advantage” when she was in the women’s team and not the men’s. I proceeded to defend the issue of transforming being in cisgender woman sports, by saying that me as a trans man, who is generally genetically gifted more than a lot of cisgender men. I am generally taller than a lot of men, I have a deep voice and a lot of cisgender man that I know, and most people would never ever think that I was born female even before I started transitioning medically.

• so, I asked my mother if she would want me to be in the same sports with cisgender women since according to her transgender women have a biological advantage, wouldn’t I have no biological advantage against cisgender men? to that, she couldn’t really find an answer and kept dancing around the subject, like a lot of trans phobic people do in media when it comes to transgender men being discussed. In summary, she claimed to not have been reading trans phobic articles when she had obviously been reading one that was distasteful towards transgender people being involved in sports, more specifically transgender women. She even proposed the idea that transgender people should be in a “transgender only” sport. Not that idea insanely stupid because people have tried to segregate people based on identity before, transgender men and women have different abilities, especially when it comes to strength. A transgender woman on estrogen will not be equivalent to a transgender man on testosterone, and it would be extremely unfair if the transgender woman was pitted against the trans man, because she would obviously lose.
  
• my mom is starting a business, and has been working on it for several months, and I am glad that she is finally turning a leaf. However, it has been a excuse for denying my needs when it comes to certain things, and whenever I’d bring up my top surgery, she says that she is simply too busy to make my appointments. I have made all of my appointments regarding my transition nearly since I started, and my mom has not put in any effort on that front, she says that I should get used to it because this is how it’s going to be when I’m an adult. But I was never allowed to be an adult, when I was younger, my mother used to threaten to kill herself often and say that she would leave me and my brother alone forever if we didn’t stop what we were doing, which was generally making a mess or some sort of white lie that set her off.
  
• My mother is a very emotional and unstable person when it comes to arguments, and arguing with her is basically a double edged sword. On several occasions, my mother, my brother, and I would be driving on some bridge or street, and she would threaten to drive us off the bridge or the street and kill us all if we didn’t stop talking. I remember that one time, my brother had said some thing that she didn’t like and she started speeding up to nearly 100 mph. My brother was yelling at her and I was screaming at her to stop driving because she was going to kill us all if she kept driving like that, she finally stopped when I nearly took the wheel because of how frantic she was acting.
  
• I truly believe that my mother has some sort of bipolar disorder due to how her emotions can flip on a dime, and that she seems to have no remorse for her actions. I do know that bipolar ≠ abusive and it’s no excuse for my mother’s actions, but I personally think it’s the reason for her mood swings, not her behavior. My brother on the other hand, is very unsympathetic and selfish in nature. I distinctly remember having to defend him from my own mother when she was screaming at him for something that he didn’t do, and one time my mother yelled at my brother so loudly that he believed that she was going to hit him. My brother is only a year and a half younger than me, so he is 15, yet I have not met another person around his age that is that distinctly selfish and unsympathetic as he is. around the age of eight or nine, my brother started to have significant and bad anger issues and generally took it out on me because he couldn’t take it out on my father or my mother. he would frequently pull my hair or say mean words to me, especially when I gained weight as he said I looked like a fat pig and a clown when I put makeup on (prior to my transition). My mother didn’t do anything to stop his behavior at all.
  

- When my grandfather died, he was a racist prick and I hated him deeply by the way. He had collapsed in the living room of his house and me and my brother were in the bedroom of the place that we were staying in at my grandpa’s house. We were staying there since my grandpa wanted to sell his house and sort out some financial issues due to his old age, and we ended up staying there for longer than we thought. During the night of his death due to his heart attack, there was a bunch of paramedics in the house, and my aunt was strung out high on drugs and screaming bloody murder in the front yard. And I had to remain calm because I knew that my brother and my mother were very unstable emotionally and I was the only thing keeping them together, which is not something that should be expected of a small child.

• I remember the paramedics directly telling us that we needed to stay in the bedroom and not go to the living room, because kids staying a dead body is obviously pretty traumatic. But my brother wasn’t having any of that, he was always a mamas boy, and my mom definitely treats him like it. I was telling him to calm down and that we should maybe play a game or do something to take our mind off of this, but he started yelling at me and trying to leave, and I kept him from leaving up until he punched me in the face and ran out of the room. No one checked on me after that, and from what I remember, I stayed in a corner of the room and cried myself to sleep while no one seemed to know that I existed. Not to mention when my aunt yelled at my mom one time, she was throwing up in the toilet because of it(how ironic). And my brother was standing behind me and crying while my cracked out aunt was in front of us, I told her that we were never coming back again and that she was insane and I never wanted to see her again. I never cried, I stood my ground while everyone else around me was able to let go and the only thing I got paid for in return was more emotional neglect and abuse.
  

- The last thing I want to mention, is that I got lost over a year ago on my birthday. I was at the county fair with my brother and mom and I had invited all of my friends, including my childhood ones to come. And they disappointed me by not coming. Not one of them came. They do not know that I got lost, because I do believe that they wouldn’t care to begin with. Like I explained before, I have very bad back issues and when it comes to lung capacity while binding, it’s well known that you shouldn’t do it for over eight hours. During the eight hour mark, I was very discouraged and upset that my friends wouldn’t come and I was venting to my brother about it. I texted my mom that I wasn’t feeling well and I wanted to leave, and she said that I was “ruining her fun, and that I should just go to the car by myself, and that she wouldn’t let me ruin her day”. so that’s exactly what I did, but I was so upset at the fact that my mom was not even concerned about my well-being and was yelling at me because of my issues that it didn’t even register to me, I didn’t know where I was. I spent the next nearly 7 hours looking around for the car, I was extremely scared and no one around me seemed to care that I was alone and I was underage. I am quite tall, so I don’t know if it was everyone’s fault that they didn’t assume I was a minor, but it still stung. The person that found me was a woman that was driving to pick up her son at a sleepover due to him being sick, she saw me sitting on a curb and looking at my feet because I was quite upset at everything that happened.

- During the whole time that I was lost, I was so upset at my friends, family, and humanity in general. But the lady that found me gave me a lot of hope, she asked where my mom was and genuinely cared about my well-being. I wish I had her as a mother instead of the one that I have, she asked for my mom‘s number and I gave it to her and my mom arrived nearly 10 minutes later. When I got into the car, I knew it was coming. The rage, the misguided anger, the degradation that was in for me. As soon as I got into the car, she started yelling at me and started telling me how stupid I was and how anyone could find a car. She kept berating me and berating me until my brother yelled at her to shut up, according to my brother, my mom was crying to the police about how I was gone. But the second that she was around me, and in private, she was not even afraid to make it clear that she was a bad mother. My phone was also dead the whole time, I had a shitty android that conked out at 20% and barely lasted 2 hours:

• Like many of the other things that my family has done to me, I have not gotten apology for this. And my mother during my birthday this year, got upset at me that I didn’t want to celebrate it at all, even though I spent my past birthday, crying my eyes out and having multiple panic attacks because of the fact that no one even saw me as a person even when I was alone and scared. She even made my whole birthday about her.
  
• on my brothers side, he has explained that he does not see me as a human being in many ways. I got groomed when I was younger, unfortunately. And no, it was not by a transgender person before anyone says anything about that. My groomer was a straight, cisgender, white, blonde haired and blue eyed male with an ugly bowl cut to boot. My brother said to me, to my face, that it was my fault that I got groomed and I must’ve tempted him in someway even though I was only five to eight years old during the duration of the grooming. He also blame me for the sexual harassment and assault I’ve experienced, and it took him nearly a week to apologize for all the awful things he said to me. Most of them were the typical victim blaming shit, saying that I deserved it, that I should’ve told someone, things like that. I was essentially forced to forgive him because my mother yelled at me in a parking lot that I should forgive my own brother, even if he says horrible things to me, so that’s what I did even if I felt like it wasn’t right.
  

Unfortunately, this is the only things that I can come up with that are the most prominent and discouraging during my whole entire experience of being transgender my mother‘s household. I’m sure that there is more examples of her and my brother being awful people, and I will mention them or edit my post if need be. Thank you for listening to me, and I really hope that anyone that sees this can provide their insight on this situation as I need more insight that’s not biased. Again, I know that this is a very controversial subject of “permanently altering a child’s body”. But, please put your political views aside and assess the situation where it stands and do not spew any rhetoric towards me in the comments because I have been trans for over 4 years and I’ve heard all of it. I would like to add, that if it wasn’t clear, that my emotions are very well regulated.
I often got called a robot when I was younger because of the lack of emotions that I exhibited compared to my peers, and I’m positive that that has to do with the way that my family is treated me unfortunately. I’m still healing my inner child because I was never allowed to be one, I haven’t spoken to my family today or yesterday all that much because I am fed up with their bullshit and can’t even look at them. I will explain and expand on any questions people have on these examples, I just tried to summarize it the best I could and left out quite a bit of information.
TLDR: my mother doesn’t support my top surgery as a trans man who is 16, and the many reasons why are listed above along with her parenting examples.

current medications for almost 2 years: budesonide 0.6mg EOD, cisapride 4mg 3x day, metaclopride 2.5mg 3x day, prevacid 7.5mg 1x day
recently, my dog has begun drinking/peeing more than is typical for steroids and her bones are becoming a bit more prominent, though not losing any weight. no decrease in activity or appetite, she still goes on walks and plays fetch everyday.
elevated ALP due to steroids (was normal pre steroids), but jumped from consistently ~400s to 1100 in 2 months. completely unremarkable US for liver, kidneys and adrenal glands. increased platelets the last two blood samples (~500). all other blood levels are normal, including thyroid. urine protein was always in the trace/1+ range but went to 2+ a couple days ago, tho UP/C ratio was 0.3
onto the question: she sees an IM who treats her IBD, and Cushings has been on the table as a potential diagnosis due to the elevated ALP and PU/PD. in order to test, she’d need to go completely off steroids, but would need to move to another immunosuppressant like atopica which is not a small undertaking. i got a second opinion and that internist thinks because the US was normal, it isn’t Cushings.
i’m not sure which direction to go. her dose of steroids is very low, and at every other day, but i’ve tried getting lower and really can’t without flaring. i’m also worried about the increase urine protein, though the same cushings vet said it was fine. how does one know whether it’s worth getting off steroids to test or its likely steroid induced to begin with?
