9 months out since d-day, and I when I think I work through the emotions of one component, I'm hit with the "BUT REMEMBER THIS TOO?"
Currently I'm stuck on the fact that the day I found out about WH affair I had kicked him out of the house and while I was home crying and destroyed, he left where he was staying to go see AP and they had sex one last time. This KILLS me. He says he went there because she had called him crying and just wanted to talk and then she invited him in after they had talked for a while and one thing lead to another. He says it was like closure of his last goodbye. and it makes me SICK. what man does that when he knows his wife is utterly destroyed. After that night he blocked her on everything, shortly after left work and got a new job, she pestered us with blocked #'s and fake #'s calling me and him, etc, but ultimately it was over.
I know they had sex, so why does that LAST TIME still sting so badly?
I am someone who clings to "signs", meaning I think something is trying to tell me something, which I know is just my anxiety, but I fear that the reason I can't let go of these events is because I shouldn't, that I should leave and never look back. (well, as far as I can go with splt custody) lol.

There's plenty of theories out there that try to explain the reasoning as to why, in Animal Crossing, there doesn't seem to be many humans other than you, the player character. Most of these are, quite frankly, either completely ridiculous, or take huge leaps in logic in order to get thier point across.
However, I recently came up with my own take on this theory, and one that seems pretty believable. You see, we're not actually human, per se. We're actually a spiritual being known as "marebito".
Marebito are creatures from Japanese folklore, and are essentially the equivalent of angels in Christian mythology. To quote Wikipedia, they are "supernatural beings who comes from afar bringing gifts of wisdom, spiritual knowledge and happiness."
First off, in Japanese, the official name for your character, as confirmed by Super Smash Bros., is "Murabito". That sounds very similar to "Marebito", now doesn't it? Of course, you can apply wordplay to anything, and it still wouldn't prove anything. Don't worry, I have plenty more evidence to support this.
Notice that you're the only one who actually has any effect on your town/island. You're the only one who's able to do stuff like plant trees, cut them down, or even provide for the local economy. Do any of the other residents help pick up weeds? No. Do they catch and donate anything to the local museum? No. In "New Horizons", do they so much as lift a finger to help clean up the island when you first arrive? No. In "New Leaf", do they help raise money for the all Public Works Projects you place across town? Sort of, but they're only able to put in what amounts to meer pocket change; it would take a ton of deliberate ignorance on your part until they'd manage to pay it off on their own. Most if not all of that is coming from your own pocket. Hell, do they even buy and sell stuff? Again, sort of. In "Wild World" and "City Folk", every few weekends there's "Flea Markets", where you can buy furniture from thier homes. But guess who's the only one who's actually able to buy anything. You. Or if you're in your own house, you can sell your stuff to them. In "New Leaf", there's instead a "Re-Tail" store, where everyone can sell their stuff secondhand. However, your neighbors will only consider buying things here. They never will unless you influence them to.
Sure, you can occasionally see your neighbors holding the various tools throughout the game, but if you follow them around, you'll see that they're never actually capable of using them. With the exception of the watering can, they'll eventually just put it right back. In "New Horizons", you can see them attempt to use the fishing rod and net, but they'll never actually catch anything. They come close to catching bugs with the net, but they'll eventually just miss, and the bug flies away. And with the fishing rod, you can see them cast their line out even if there's no shadow in the water. And on the off chance that there is, the fish never nibble at their lines.
See, since you're a marebito, you've arrived at your town/island, sent here with the mission of making all its residents happy. Creating relationships with them, helping thier little wherever it is grow and expand, and even be a sort of sugar daddy and buy things from and for them just so the economy is nice and steady. You can donate specimens of the local wildlife to the failing museum just so the residents have somewhere fun to go to in their free time. And since most of the animal villagers are herbivores, you're providing them with a source of food, since you're the only one who can plant trees that grow fruit for them to eat.
Okay, that's all fine and good, but why a human in particular? Why not some kind of animal that blends in more? Well first, in the original game, your character always wears a hat with fake bull horns on them presumably for this reason (in later games prior to "New Horizons", these hats are instead the design that the male villager wears when wearing one with a custom design). Secondly, amongst all the other animals, a human sticks out. So when the they need help, or have busywork that needs doing, they have someone they can very easily find who will be more than happy to take the time to do it for them out of kindness. As long as it makes them happy.

This is in Toronto. So to start off I was charged with criminal harassment against my ex back in 2022 and there is still an ongoing investigation until my trial. I have a no contact order with my ex and she has a detective obviously on this matter.
Recently I was threatened with a fake account on instagram with someone who had my address and a few minutes later sent a picture outside my home with bats threatening me and my sister. They had mentioned something only my ex would know about me and the very next day I went to report this incident to the police. Fast forward a couple weeks later my ex has started dropping hints by tweeting (which is how she indirectly communicates with me) regarding the statement I gave to the detective and apparently she knows? She knows what I told the detective and how I had used things like linkedin and Spotify to track who came to my address, something I had only told the detective. This caused her boyfriend behind the fake accounts to start deleting things and practically “destroying” evidence which I know is already with the cops but still feels kind of shady that the detective had told her. Is this allowed? I feel as if this is some huge conflict of interest.

So I (20f) went to babysit my cousin Lisa (fake name 13f) over the weekend. Around noon my cousin asked me to look at a pimple on her back. Lisa explained that her mother my aunt wanted her to leave it alone, but over the past week it’s became pain to lean against anything.
I agreed and had her sit at the dining table. When I pulled up her shirt I saw a giant hamster sized pimple on her back. It was so swollen and had a white tip meaning it was ready to pop. Lisa agreed but still wanted me yo do something about it.
And I agreed that if her mother didn’t text me back in a few hours then I’ll pop it myself.
Well I sent the picture and texted my aunt explaining that I planned on popping it if she didn’t get back to me by 2.
She did not get back to me.
So I grabbed a box of Alcohol wipes, bandages and q-tips along with a blue diabetic needle the small ones to help test your blood sugar. If you know you know. Anyways I explained what I was gonna do before I leaned Lisa against the dining table and cleaned the area. Before taking the needle and punctured the pimple puss immediately started pouring out. I took a q-tip and whipped up some puss smelling it before leaning in and sniffing the pimple it self. Luckily there was no smell.
I continued squeezing the puss out saying there was a lot would be an understatement. Eventually I stopped after a minute because of Lisa’s begging do to the pain. So I stopped and cleaned her back again before touching the pimple feeling something hard still under her skin. I apologize to Lisa before violating pushing down on her back and removing a hard piece of puss. Blood began to drip from the bigger hole so I cleaned it again before putting on a bandage.
Lisa complained about soreness and took an aleve from the bathroom.
Her mother came home three hours later. She immediately went to check on her daughter but when Lisa explained what happened my aunt lost it.
It turned into a huge argument where my aunt accused me of being immature and stupid for preforming a medical procedure with her permission.
I explained to my aunt that I’ve done it before on my self and that it was safe.
She went on to scream that I was supposed to be the adult in this situation. And Lisa had no idea what she was getting into. I just left arguing with my aunt is like fighting a brick wall.
I talked to my mom about it today and she said I should’ve just apologized. All I wanted to do was help Lisa if I ignored her I felt that would translate to me not caring. Now I wanna know if I’m the asshole for helping Lisa?

Does anybody have a place/person they recommend for nails? Full set/gel/ nail art? I’m new from out of state and the last places I’ve tried I was not happy with. One place left my gel so thick they looked cheap and fake and she didn’t understand how to make them like a picture I showed her. Another told me they could do what I showed a picture of and it looked nothing like it. I keep looking online and the photos I see aren’t that great. I found one person that sounded promising but she charged $150 (close to what I would pay back home when they were detailed)but they charged this for a basic design but the nails looked like a child did them. I need some real help from long time locals please!

Anyway, I'm a teenage girl and I'm mostly alone, well that was until I met my current friend. My classmates don't really like me, that's why I only had my friend. And know she mostly talks to someone else. She barley notices me, even though we sit together she always talks to her new friend.
I talked to both of them but they didn't do anything. I try my best to talk to both of them but it's only some sentences and then they continue talking to each other.
If I lose my friend I'm completely alone again. The worst thing is, it still feels like she wants to be friends with me but I don't wanna be the third wheel. :(

It is all as simple as this. Giuliani, Trump, and a bevy of traitors to our country, tried to nullify the votes of 87 million people and overthrow the legitimate government of the United States.
That's it in a nutshell.Almost every one of these treasonous criminals has been indicted and the government has overwhelming proof of their guilt. In boxing they say "You can run, but you can't hide".
The wheels of justice may be slow, but the results ar inevitable.
Trump and his accomplices (many in the House of Representatives) will be tried, convicted, and hit with the most severe prison sentences allowed by law.

Rudy Giuliani's legal problems could be about to get worse, a former U.S. attorney has said.
Giuliani was one of 18 people indicted last month in Arizona over an alleged scheme to overturn the 2020 election results in the state. He was served the indictment alongside six Trump allies, including Trump's former and his close adviser Boris Epshteyn, as well as 11 individuals who acted as fake GOP electors for Arizona in the last presidential election.
However, Giuliani is the only defendant prosecutors have been unable to serve with a summons, according to Richie Taylor, a spokesperson for the Arizona attorney general's office.
Taylor said prosecutors and investigators working for Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes have made multiple attempts to serve Giuliani a summons, which serves as a formal notice that he has been criminally charged and must appear before a judge at Maricopa County Superior Court on May 21. However, they have been unable to find him. He added that the day after the state-level grand jury handed up its indictment to Giuliani, two agents for the attorney general's office traveled to New York City with plans to hand-deliver the notice to him.
The agents determined that Giuliani was in his New York apartment because he had recently video streamed from his residence, Taylor continued, adding that upon their arrival, they were told by a person at the front desk that they were not allowed to accept service of the documents. Taylor said the person did not dispute Giuliani lived there. "We were not granted access," Taylor said.
The attorney general's office has also made multiple attempts to try to contact Giuliani by calling various phone numbers for him, "and none of them were successful," according to Taylor.
Newsweek has reached out to a representative for Giuliani via email for comment.
A person close to Giuliani told The Washington Post that the former New York City mayor and one-time attorney for Trump "keeps a busy schedule." Amid his apparent absence, Paul Charlton, a former U.S. attorney appointed by President George W. Bush, has argued that Giuliani's legal problems could potentially get worse if he does not appear for his initial court appearance, warning that it would lead to his arrest. "You can think of a summons to appear as a courtesy by the prosecutors—it is an invitation to appear," Charlton told The Washington Post. "You can be held in contempt if you are served and fail to appear. But the alternative for prosecutors is to issue an arrest warrant, and that is, of course, a much more compelling vehicle." He added that generally speaking, defendants who seek to avoid a summons should consider "the reality that the next step the prosecutors take won't be quite as gentle."
Giuliani has not responded to the case against him in Arizona, where Trump lost by 10,457 votes.
Trump was not among those charged in Arizona. He is described in the indictment only as "Unindicted Coconspirator 1."
"In Arizona, and the United States, the people elected Joseph Biden as President on November 3, 2020," the indictment reads. "Unwilling to accept this fact, Defendants and unindicted coconspirators schemed to prevent the lawful transfer of the presidency to keep Unindicted Coconspirator 1 in office against the will of Arizona's voters."
Giuliani is also involved in a Georgia election racketeering case brought by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, in which he was charged alongside Trump with allegedly conspiring to overturn Biden's victory in the state. Both have pleaded not guilty.
He is also facing a $148 million judgment for defaming a pair of election workers in Georgia, which has led to him declaring bankruptcy.

I own a piece of waterfront property in Gautier. My lot is about 600' from the ocean and borders a canal. My lot is zone X (luckily), but will get flood insurance anyway.
Question:
I have gotten two "fake" quotes from insurance agents (fake because the actual house doesn't exist) and both quoted around $2,600 for Homeowners and they estimated around $1,000 for flood. The house would obviously be new construction and around 1,700SF.
Does this sound realistic? I've heard horror stories about people getting hit with massive insurance bills along the coast and I want to make sure I was being quoted accurately. I was told the massive hikes (for the most part) only applied to older homes in the area.
