Got an email that Curve Legacy will be discontinued and I get free Curve Black instead.
Not sure what I think of it, it's nice not to have an unsupported product anymore, it's also nice to get Cashback. However many of the improvements are not really true, e.g. GBIT worked for me anyway for 90 days - and I have been only charged the international card funding fee from this year. Definitely losing out on unlimited currency conversion sucks the most.
What do you all think? I thought there was a legal reason that they wouldn't change the core features of Curve Legacy Black (given that they promised some features for life I think and we paid 50 pounds for the card). Wonder what changed...

In the words of Ariana Grande — I see it, I like it, I want it, I got it.
I spend a lot of time on social media (won’t be cutting that down, it’s how I relax) and it’s on my phone so no ad blocker.
And years and years of giving my data away without realising the harm I was doing has lead to the advertising on my feeds being highly relevant, desirable, and frankly irresistible. I just saw an ad on Facebook for human size cat pillows and I. I want one so bad.
Yes, I can stop giving my data away for free, but I fear the damage is already done unless I sign up for a whole new identity or remove my email address from every brand I’ve ever bought from.
I was suckered in with rewards programs as a young adult and now I have targeted marketing out the wazoo, even though I’ve stopped swiping the cards for points. And when I google something out of curiosity, Lo and behold, there it is in my feed for a few weeks reminding me I want it.
I feel like a complete simpleton. I don’t listen to commercial radio or watch television because I hate advertising, but do you know how many thousands of dollars I’ve spent on useless crap I’ve seen on Facebook because it’s exactly what I want and I didn’t even realise I wanted it???

I am not one for negative reviews as I typically feel if I have a bad experience, it is just a bad day. However, this company has shown a pattern of poor care for its customers as well as lack of support in general. I opened my first checking account with them when I was 14 years old, and am now 26. I have had a personal checking and savings account with them for the last 10 years and opened a credit card with them 2 years ago. I have since decided that this is not the bank for me mainly due to a complete lack of customer service.
First of all, this bank began charging me maintenance fees on my checking account of nowhere a few months ago, so I tried to call. I sat on the phone punching #s for hours trying to get a human on the phone to see why this was. Not possible. So I visited a branch and they treated me like I was unimportant and could figure out my problems myself and was told to “go find the answer on google.” Eventually a banker met with me who said that since I was no longer a “student” I would be charged maintenance fees. Understandable, except I am a student. I pulled up my transcript and everything for this guy and he continued to tell me his hands were tied and he could not help. Fine, but kind of annoying.
So I get a credit card with bank of america, my first credit card mind you, and I’m enjoying earning rewards on my card and gaining cash back. I am person who prefers simplicity so I immediately set up autodraft/autopay to pay the statement balance each month. However for my first payment they drafted the statement amount twice from my BofA checking account. Not cool. I did not have that much in my checking account. Overdraft fee. I try calling to get help, again on the phone for multiple hours and unable to speak with a human. I go to a branch (different than the one in my last experience) where I am again told to call customer service or “use Erica, their AI chatbot,” so I leave and go to a different branch where someone finally helps me, but still is unable to refund the double charge OR the overdraft fee. They said, “it will just remain on your credit card as a statement credit so you won’t have to pay the next one.” Fine, but really annoying.
So Im a few months out from this I am getting married and we decided to bank with Chase (who is amazing on the customer service side by the way). I now have a checking account with Chase that is my main account, so I want to autodraft/autopay my BofA credit card with my chase checking account. Well, BofA makes that nearly impossible. I cannot figure out how to have BofA draft the exact statement balance due each month from my checking account automatically. I spend a few hours on google/reddit/etc trying to figure it out, which should not be hard considering I work with computers every day. However, I do not find a solution so I travel to a new BofA branch (not one I have been to before) and explain the situation that I would like to set up autodraft from a Chase checking acct. They tell me they cannot help with credit cards in the bank and I need to call customer service. Not falling for that again. So I go to ANOTHER new BofA branch that I have never been to and ask the same question. One lady does help me and says all I have to do is go to Chase bank to have them set this up because it is a problem on their end. So I do that. And Chase tells me that BofA will not share info with other banks to allow them to see amount due through the Chase bill pay feature. So I give up
A month later I have some free time and I am in a different city so I schedule an appointment with a BofA banker to see if we can revisit the credit card issue. I am helped! He calls customer service himself with me there, somehow gets a human on the line in only 5 minutes, and they send me an email how to setup my Chase checking acct as a “pay from account.” However these instructions do not work because for some reason my account is not eligible to be set up online and I must mail a voided check to bank of america headquarters before they can consider my account for enrollment. So I ask the banker if I have to use this BofA credit card to maintain it and he tells me he’s pretty sure I will receive notice prior to an closing of my credit cards, contrary to what redditors have shared, so I take his word for it and try to set up Autopay. Well I give up again.
So a few days later I am tired of this bank and decide to close my accounts and switch everything to chase. I made an appointment at ANOTHER new branch, so I am well travelled to the Bank of America Branches within South Carolina/North Carolina. I tell the banker I am closing and leaving BofA, she asks why, I tell her that their customer service is not very good and that bankers have little-to-no power to help with hardly anything an everyday customer may need. She tries to convince me to stay. I say no. I get her to close my checking and savings account and she tells me they can give me cash (the remaining balances in these accounts). I run my credit card scenario by her in a last ditch effort to get it figured out, but she cant help, and another banker overhears us talking, says “I am really good with credit card stuff, let me help you.” So I go to his office, explain everything, and he says he cant help me. Shocker. So I take my account closure statements across the foyer of the BofA branch and hand them to the teller to finally cash out and leave this place forever. He cannot accept my withdrawal. Somehow in the time between my talks with the first banker and the time I reach the teller 15 feet away their computer system has gone down. The teller informs me that the accounts have already been closed so there is no way to get the money out at the moment. All 4 branch bankers are behind the counter with him running through how they can service me and you know what their solution was? “Give us a call back every few hours to see if we have figured out a solution.” NO. I will NOT ever try to call BofA again. I am giving you my phone number to call ME once you have a solution. So I leave, and receive a call later that day because the teller tells me they are closing soon and he needs me to return to discuss my options. I drive back to the branch. He tells me I have 2 options: 1) have the checks mailed to me once BofA figures out how to solve this issue Or 2) come back first thing in the morning to follow up and hopefully figure it out. I am not going to trust BofA to figure out anything at this point so I decide I am going to return in the morning, and every day after until they fix this . At the moment they have no solutions, so I will see if they dreamt some up overnight tomorrow! I will update again as the story unfolds

With MD4's advent, I've decided to make a new centralizing post for my build updates. I'm still opting to be sparse on details, entrusting the reader to intuit specific tactics (but I'll try to give timely answers to questions in comments).

To new readers: this post serves as a crude follow up to my MD3 farming guide (covertly a teambuilding guide). It's quite the backlog to delve into that entire corpus (and I don't expect many would), but this post does rely on some cursory understanding of the strategies outlined (and updated) within that prior guide (and its revisions). MD4 Analysis:
Lets begin with an analysis of MD4 changes, and their impact on our runs. Fortunately, I was made aware of an excellent, recently released guide, covering a lot of what I wanted to write about:

I agree with much of this writer's analysis, but because our focuses differ slightly (theirs center difficulty management/being able to clear MD4 for newer players, and mine aggressively centers clear speed for the more experienced), there's necessarily some different recommendations that I'll highlight below. I'll also reiterate some of the more crucial points, and other points where our perspectives may differ.
  1. Floor Packs. Naturally, avoid hard/time-sink packs, and remember rerolls exist. Specifically, for Story Packs: everything Canto 5+ should be avoided (but Lake World is okay). Unloving (Baba Yaga) and Unconfronting (Kromer) are decent, but slow with the wrong team. Intervallo packs are all great picks, but note whether they resist your current team. They're slightly slower on average, but have good gift pools that make up for it (so ideally you want to rapidly cheese through them with AoE EGOs). Everything else has the potential floor boss printed on the pack; so pick accordingly based on your team's specific strengths - you can refer to the tables in the steam guide linked above if you need help identifying them. Note that while number of nodes do correlate with clear speed, less nodes isn't always faster, because fight compositions tend to matter more. I'll detail any team-specific considerations (if any), in their own section below.
  2. Fight Compositions. For many packs, regular fights now tend to face us off against groups of 3~4 as opposed to the 5~6 in MD3. This majorly changes our team building considerations. Notably, it slightly lowers the value of 5+ weight EGO, and allows 3-weight EGO to do almost as much work (but note that 5~6 enemy fights still happen, so have those EGOs ready in your back pocket). Similarly, SP gain is slower now, because enemies are less overleveled; so we have the opposite of MD3's excess sanity issue, and certain tactics abusing that SP overflow (e.g. some EGO spam strategies) get slightly worse.
  3. Pathing/Node choices. As with MD3, we still prioritize event nodes (the "?" nodes) to skip fights. However, focused encounters are now worthwhile over regular fights, as Peccatula die far faster now (fewer units), trivially giving us additional reward chances. Risky encounters are also usually worthwhile, but will depend on the floor pack (you'll identify which to avoid with experience).
  4. Abno Fights from event nodes. Most go down in 2~3 turns, but they're almost never worth the time sink (0 turns is faster than 2 turns after all). We should usually only fight these if we greatly benefit from both gifts, but I'll make the assumption that everyone has different barometers as to which fights are fast/easy, so I'll leave it to the reader's discretion. Detailing how to speed clear each individual boss fight is of course beyond the scope of this writeup.
  5. Keywords and Fusing. Contrary to some popular sentiments, I regard the new gifts (and fusing) very highly. A majority of them are incredibly powerful, but do require some teambuilding to effectively exploit. I'll cover separately the specifics as it applies to each team, but will briefly cover general fusing strategies in the next section.
  6. Fixed Target EGO gifts. Many only apply to a subset (based on deployment #) instead of the whole team, so it's important to judge their strengths as a fraction of a "full" EGO gift. What's notable is that some of them do target #1, thus boost 2 slots by T2. These front-targeting ones typically have a bigger effect than those targeting later slots. They also tend to be status gifts, and since we (usually) already deploy our best status units up front, it won't affect our team order too often. The back-targeting gifts so far have been for physical keywords (but their Tier 4s target only #3), so our teambuilding should try to catch as many of the good effects as we can. From some analysis, the average best pierce slot is #4. Slash thrives in #5, and multi-coin blunts should be put in #5/6. There's special consideration for slot #3, but we'll get to that in the fusing section.
  7. Reward Cards. The starlight cards are clearly amazing. Once you've gotten into the groove of things, even after maxing out your tree, picking the starlight gain card is always a top choice. When you're just starting out, we do pick the guaranteed EGO gift every time. However, once you've filled roughly half your starlight buffs, you should often prefer picking the starlight card. Because we can reroll shops for 10 starlight now, they represent an average cost-save greater than picking the guaranteed EGO gift (when utilizing some clever gambits).
  8. Ritornello (Hard) Mode. Better than MD3 in terms of starlight-time efficiency (due to starlight cards mostly), but it still doesn't beat normal mode's (even without getting into BP exp considerations). My current recommendation is thus still the same: hard mode for weekly, then farm on normal. However, it's certainly closer than before, and the new hard mode is also easier than ever. Some floor packs also only show up in hard mode, so if you're a completionist and wish to fill out your compendium, go for it. All our teams still perform well there.
Keywords and Fusing Deep Dive:
Let's talk fusing. The new fusing system is incredible, especially after filling out some starlight buffs. When you're first starting out, as with our MD3 strategy, it's better to hoard gifts and sell the unwanted ones later (lets define these as "junk"), to reroll shops or upgrade items. Eventually however, after filling in more buffs, you'll regularly clean out shops, and won't be starved for costs anymore. Instead, because fusion now targets specific keywords (and success rate being solely determined by # of ingredients), we've gained a powerful tool to exploit the small pools of some keyword categories. There is an in-game button ("Fusion Guide" in the fusion UI) you can refer, to look up specifics on success rates and tier outcomes, but I'll spare the details and describe 3 main fusion strategies I utilize:
  1. upFuse: This is the obvious strat, fusing 3 gifts to get a higher tiered one. However, note the discounted Tier 4 fuse: Tier 3 + 3 + 2. We'll often use this, as well as the 2 + 1 + 1 fuse for a Tier 2.
  2. rollFuse: This is actually the more important one, essentially rerolling junk into what we want. Like with upFuse, we can also get a discounted rate on this one. e.g. fusing Tier 3 + 2 + 1 gives us a Tier 3 back.
  3. 2Fuse: This is a cheap trick we use (rarely) to fish for fusion gift components, specifically for Tier 1s. Using 2 ingredients is only a 60% success rate to get the targeted keyword, but notably if you miss, you get still get back one ingredient's worth. i.e. if you have 4 junk Tier 1s, you can reroll 3 times (which exceeds the 90% success rate of fusing 3). We should really only do this if we are overflowing with junk Tier 1s, and already have the other fusion pair (or simply for fun of course).
So now that I've defined some techniques, what do we actually fuse towards? The classic fusion gifts isn't actually our main goal. We specifically want to target any category that have low ratios of junk for our team. And would you know it, there's quite a lot:
  1. Physical Keyword Tier 3s. Would you look at that, there's only one Tier 3 in these categories. e.g. rollFusing a Thunderbranch + Golden Urn + Lithograph into Clasped Structure for our Tremor or Burn team is downright criminal.
  2. Physical Keyword Tier 4s. This one is more situational (because it only affects #3 deployed), but again, there's only one in the pool. e.g. Our poise team uses Cinqclair in slot #3, and you should see what Punctured Memory does for him yourself.
  3. Status Tier 4s. There's only 2 in the pool, and neither are junk for their respective teams. So it is trivial to upFuse for one of them; however, we should only do so if we have some junk T3 (or alternatively, force one from an easy event abno fight). They're really strong however, so it's often worthwhile.
  4. Status Tier 2s. The consequence of starting runs with two Tier 2 status gifts is that it knocks out a considerable chunk of the pool. We'll usually get another Tier 2 from our keyword on floor 1/2 anyway, so we have a very good shot of cornering what we want. Notably also, many status categories' T2s are incredibly broken, and the duds are few and far between (burn or bleed for example doesn't even have a bad Tier 2, and yes, I consider Gossypium a good gift for bleed).
  5. Classic Fusion Gifts. And finally, we do sometimes go for this, but usually only if we have the Tier 1 half already. Specific Tier 3s are actually easier to get than Tier 1s, as a consequence of the fusing system (and pools), so if we have the Tier 1, we can easily force the Tier 3 (and thus the fusion gift); though if you really want to, you can also 2Fuse for the Tier 1. However, we rarely -need- the fusion gift, but sometimes the situation just presents itself, so it's worth taking notice when it does (or of course, just for fun).
I'll specify in each respective team's section which particular fuse strategy (and for what targets) we're applying, but for the most part you can likely intuit what we want to target based on the team comp (though there are some notable exceptions like Tremor teams always wanting to fuse Tremor Tier 3s).

This is cheaper than most bank loans especially when you account for the fact that it doesn’t accrue interest if you can’t pay for some reason it’s more beneficial to those struggling. Also if your check ever returns payday lenders are very understanding and work out payment arrangements for $20-$50 per pay period to avoid court. The only growth of the amount you owe is if your check returns and that is a one time 31.14 cent check return fee. Banks also generally aren’t approving the person for a loan and that’s why they’re coming to a payday lender. Every payday loan customer has a bank account so in general they’ve most likely tried every avenue beforehand. I don’t know about your credit card rates but mine are sitting above that, many in the range of 20% or more and payday loans have been a helpful tool in my families times of need. Focusing on the APR when it comes to payday loans is ludicrous and deceptive because payday loans don’t accrue interest, they charge a one time fee between 12.8%- 16% of the loaned amount. 2024.05.14 06:29 Xenoeve Drivers license renewal

Hey yall. I wanted to share this information, considering it might be useful and is something very specific I haven’t seen a lot of people talk about. Also I’m located in ILLINOIS. Also EAC= Employment Authorization Card. lol. I know we all use different terms.
I got a silent approval may 9th. My documents tab had the Approval Notice PDF updated. I wondered if I could renew my drivers license by printing out the approval notice at home and then taking that to the DMV to get my drivers license as soon as possible. My concern was that I either needed the physical EAC or the OFFICIAL APPROVAL notice that’s mailed to me (not the copy I printed) to renew the DL.
Turns out the copy is perfectly fine. Not wanting to waste not more time and get my life back, I went to the DMV I took the printed notice and all they asked for was my SS card, my expired license and expired EAC. I do want to mention I had someone that was apprehensive of accepting the notice over the physical EACard but I explained it to her like this: “This approval notice is my temporary card until I get it in the mail. As you can see, on top it states the alien registration number that you need and it also states here the dates that is valid from this day to this day of 2026. Everything you need from the NEW EAC is stated on here.”
After that she was very chill and boom, I was out the door with my new drivers license. It’s been 4 days since my silent approval, I have yet go receive ANY PAPERWORK in the mail and already got my DL without it. I know some people haven’t had luck with people taking the notice but push by explaining it how I did.
I did not use the approval notice to go back to work because I haven’t yet. (Gotta find a new job lol) but I recommend giving it a shot. Like I said. This paper is basically the temporary EAC. It states EVERYTHING the EAC would. Now I’m not saying the employer will take it. Cause DMV and employer is different. However, if you are on Leave of absence and need to get back asap and can’t wait 2-3 more weeks for the delayed cards and notice to come in. It’s worth a shot. Print it out and take it to work.

I'm both a buyer and a seller on whatnot. I buy coins, and sell cards in the mtg categories. I tuned into a stream on the coins category yesterday and saw no less than five streamers whining about getting docked by trust and safety... Their main complaints? Giveaways. They didn't follow the rules, and got caught. Now they're on the naughty list and felt the need to bitch and moan while their mods and other shady streams played their sad violin music in the background.
"I can't make any money"- stop trying to resell the crap you buy at retail for a profit. It's bad business, and it isn't going to happen often. It doesn't matter what the big streamers sell something for, you aren't them. They bought alot of their stuff years ago when silver and gold were much lower or simply pick up huge lots for discounts. Now, they can sell it for a profit. Buy low, sell high. Sometimes you have to sit on a product for awhile. It's called supply and demand. Supply dips on premium items, demand goes up. High demand generates a higher premium. Buying something at full retail and expecting to make a profit is a fools errand.
"I GOT IN TROUBLE FOR SELLING NAZI SHIT" Then don't sell nazi shit. It's clearly stated in the rules. Cry me a river, build a bridge and get over it.
"Form-fillers suck" Yeah, nobody likes it when a non buyer gets a buyers giveaway. But nobody likes it when someone spends a dollar and wins it either. Suck it up, tag your buyers before the giveaway, and run it quickly. It takes time to fill out the form. Generate 20 buyers giveaways, and run one randomly. Easy. Plenty of other streamers have broken the code. Learn, adapt, survive. If a form filler gets it, send the item. If a "givvy goblin" wins the silver oz, send them the silver. It's a business expense and tax deductible. It increases your foot print, gets you followers, and the attention of potential buyers in the future. You got your money's worth talking about it all stream anyway. Like any marketing endeavor, it's not 100%. Most marketing campaigns are deemed huge successes with a 10% conversion rate.
"Whatnot fee's are crazy" Really? What's the cost of having a brick and mortar store? Credit card processing fees, rent, electricity, ect. It's not up to your customers to pay your 8% or 13%. That's called the cost of doing business. Besides I'm sure they're bitching and moaning about all the sellers on ebay and whatnot selling at greysheet. Be competitive, be honest, and have some integrity.

Episode Ranking (From best to worst):
  1. Roller Cowards - 9/10: With a premise we can all relate to from our childhood and great jokes throughout, I think this is the best episode of the season
  2. Spy Buddies - 9/10: Like 'Clams' from Season 3, this episode is a fantastic parody with all the SpongeBob absurdity you could ask for
  3. Krabs a La Mode - 8/10: This one has a great story, a nice ice aesthetic, and is both funny and creative with its concept
  4. SpongeBob VS the Patty Gadget - 8/10: The best short of the season, I like the message and the unique storytelling style
  5. The Battle of Bikini Bottom - 8/10: A really silly premise but pulled off well with great humour and gross-out that works
  6. The Krusty Plate - 8/10: A fun short full of great humour and absurdity
  7. Picture Day - 7/10: This season's biggest surprise gem
  8. Mermaid Man VS SpongeBob - 7/10: A great blend of a Plankton and a Mermaid Man episode
  9. The Donut of Shame - 7/10: In an era where Patrick was characterised as a bratish idiot, episodes like this are nice examples that all is not lost
  10. Blackened Sponge - 7/10: Another surprising gem, this episode feels very in character for SpongeBob and is quite a funny episode overall
  11. The Krusty Sponge - 7/10: A nice jab towards the show's marketing, but I feel Mr Krabs should've been punished at the end
  12. The Two Faces of Squidward - 7/10: Squidward getting a taste of 'be careful what you wish for' is a great premise and leads to a really good episode
  13. Money Talks - 7/10: This episode should've been a full eleven-minute one instead of a short
  14. To Save a Squirrel - 7/10: I like this one, though Sandy's plan is oddly complicated and confusing
  15. New Digs - 6/10: A premise like this feels very in character for SpongeBob. However, I do wish this one was funnier
  16. Slimy Dancing - 6/10: The epilogue at the end was unnecessary. Other than that, this one's fine
  17. 20,000 Patties Under the Seas - 6/10: This one has some decent jokes and a good premise, although the ending joke is kind of stupid
  18. The Inmates of Summer - 6/10: Don't find this one particularly interesting or humourous, although the play near the end is a joy
  19. Friend or Foe - 6/10: I like the lore of this one, I just don't find it particularly hilarious
  20. Pest of the West - 5/10: The cowboy premise is nice, though I feel they don't do much fun or unique with it compared to the spy stuff in 'Spy Buddies'
  21. The Original Fry Cook - 6/10: Same as 'Friend or Foe'. I like the lore, just don't find it very funny
  22. Blackjack - 5/10: I would've preferred that they had focused on the mystery aspect of the story
  23. A Flea in Her Dome - 5/10: It's ok, I just wish it was creative with its premise and had an ending that doesn't feel like it just gives up
  24. Sing a Song of Patrick - 5/10: The most mixed I've been on a SpongeBob episode
  25. Le Big Switch - 5/10: I find this episode extremely boring and unfunny
  26. Night Light - 5/10: I love the freezer scene and the creepy aesthetic during the first half, but why does it turn into a Mermaid Man episode during the second half?
  27. Stanley S. SquarePants - 5/10: I like seeing more of SpongeBob's family, though this episode feels gimmicky than fun or interesting
  28. Bucket Sweet Bucket - 5/10: Aside from the "Exposition!" joke, nothing memorable or funny happens here
  29. Good Ol' Whatshisname - 5/10: I don't find it the worst, but there's so little to say about this one
  30. Rise and Shine - 5/10: Quite an uninteresting premise for an episode but the episode is at least tolerable
  31. Banned in Bikini Bottom - 4/10: This episode is so boring I have nothing interesting to say about it
  32. Fungus Among Us - 4/10: I don't find this episode as gross as others do, but the story and characters let it down regardless
  33. To Love a Patty - 4/10: SpongeBob gets romantic with a sandwich, do I need to say anything more?
  34. Breath of Fresh Squidward - 4/10: The concept is really good, execution is not so much
  35. Pat No Pay - 4/10: Sad how two of the three Patrick shorts this season are either uninteresting or unfunny
  36. Goo Goo Gas - 4/10: This episode is mostly baby jokes and none of them are funny
  37. Boat Smarts - 4/10: It's the 'Krusty Krab Training Video' except it forgot to be consistently funny
  38. SpongeHenge - 4/10: This episode confuses me more than anything
  39. Waiting - 3/10: I've never seen an episode of any show that actively tries to prevent anything interesting from happening. At least it's a short
  40. Atlantis SquarePantis - 3/10: The show's first TV movie and hardly anything exciting or interesting happens. Not even the songs are that good
  41. Whatever Happened to SpongeBob - 2/10: If you have to make your characters uncharacteristically mean to get the story going, you're doing something wrong. This should've just stuck with the memory loss plot
Season Overall - 5/10: On one hand, the best episodes of the season are better than the best of Season 4. On the other, the worst episodes are much worse compared to what Season 4 had to offer. All in all, Season 5 is yet another season I find underwhelming overall

I saw someone ask it but can’t find the thread. Discovered the solution myself and I apologize if this is better know than I thought. But in the case that you need the .3mf from your print history but don’t have it saved for some reason, just pop out that sd card and plug it into your pc directly (if you have a port) or with a reader. You can then click on the drive and go to “models”, which is where the 3d objects are kept.

I have a Master's Degree in Business Administration and decided that the white collar life is not for me. I'm working in a nice restaurant and this man about my age came in with his mother. They were very chatty and nice. The guy kept talking about his dogs that had passed away, which became awkward after awhile to keep up the conversation with him. First, he asked if he could buy me a dessert to take home, which I declined. After he paid, his mother got up to go to the bathroom and he asked if it would be bad if he asked me out. I didn't know what to say, so he asked if he could give me his number. He gave me a piece of paper that had his number and it said "text me, I don't bite". He also left his credit card in the check presenter, which I gave to my manager.
I was not at all attracted to this man, but my coworker suggested that I take him up on a dinner date to get a free dinner and she said, you never know, he might turn into a good friend. Thoughts?

So I 24F got off work a bit ago. My husband 24M had some friends over playing card games for the evening and I knew that before I got home.
I came home and saw they had ordered pizza and I don't overly like that pizza brand (dominoes is nasty imo) so I said hi to everyone and started making a frozen ramen. Now my frozen ramen are from a local place and are delicious and not very cheap, but they are my favorite lazy meal.
So I was standing at the stove making my ramen and one of my husband's friends, Brian (fake name) started saying it smelt good. I replied that yes it is delicious and he should try them out sometime but they are pricey (about 16 CAD each). As it kept cooking he just kept saying things like "man that smells good" and "I'd kill for some ramen right now" and such. I just eventually told him that they run a special of buy 10 get 1 free (as I said they are fancy ramen, and very filling). He then said "Oh so you have more? Could you cook me one?"
Honestly I was put off by that. I had just worked for 8 hours and I had told him they aren't cheap.
I said "Well no, they are kind of my thing. I really recommend trying them out though". He clearly got a bit angry and had stopped their game at this point. He said "well its kind of unfair you are making one for yourself then and not making one for a guest. You should have just had pizza."
To be fair at this point my husband and the other guys stepped in and told Brian to chill out. My husband also told Brian that it was my food and I don't like the pizza.
It was pretty awkward and once my ramen was heated I took it to my desk in the other room and started typing this out. I was admittedly eavesdropping and I heard Brian leave shortly after I came to my desk.
I'm really wondering if I should have just made him a ramen because I feel the atmosphere of my husband's group might be ruined because of me.
So. AITAH for not cooking for my husband's friend?
Small update, the rest of the friends left, and husband came to talk to me. He apologized for Brian's behavior and explained that after I left, Husband asked Brian what his problem was. Brian said "whatever let's get back to the game" they all sat in discomfort for about 5 min, then Brian just got up and left. The rest of the gang finished the game, and then they went home. According to Husband, the group agreed that Brian was acting weird and rude. One of the guys volunteered to check on him tomorrow and tell him to apologize to us. So I'll update on that tomorrow, I guess. lol.

NTA. Brian should’ve written down the name of the store/brand and flavor on a memo so he could go buy it later. This might be pushing it, but at most he could’ve asked for one bite on a small plate so he can at least taste test it before committing to buying 10 portions of an expensive ramen.

The store is a ramen restaurant and they simply sell their fancy homemade ramen as frozen for a few bucks cheaper. It is just noodles, meat (spicy chicken in my case), broth, and some veggies. Honestly I could make it at home but I'm lazy lol.

Hi all! I was very overwhelmed with the responses to the post. I was honestly just working myself up last night and needed to vent somewhere, I didn't really expect such a response. Thank you all for judgements, it was helpful.
Anyways to the update. Sorry it took the whole day, a lot happened.
The other friend that went to check on Brian, (Sam again fake name) tried calling him in the morning and didn't get a reply. Eventually Sam went to Brian's place and asked to talk.
Sam said it basically went down as him saying,
"You were being weird as hell with ME, what was that"
"I just didn't want dominoes and you guys didn't listen to me. I just wanted other food."
Sam and my husband also say that when the group was discussing food and one of them said just get dominoes, Brian didn't say any objection.
Sam then told him along the lines of "okay well you need to apologize to Husband and I"
Brian then said "yeah I'll apologize to husband"
Most of you readers will pick up what Sam picked up on, Brian didn't want to apologize to me.
Sam told him he mostly needed to apologize to me, it was me he spoke to and me he was rude to.
Brian then told him he'll "think about it" and asked Sam to leave.
Sam then came over and told us the conversation and I started writing the update for you guys.
As I started writing Brian called husband. He was talking very rushed, and I could hear him almost a room away.
"Yeah I'm sorry for last night. I don't think I want to attend game nights at your house though. I don't get along with Me"
Husband started getting kind of heated at that point, because Brian was talking very rapidly, like in a panic almost.
The argument kind of dissolved into a lot of what the comments brought up, my husband asking him was his problem was, is he just that misogynistic, why was he acting this way and such.
Husband said that Brian didn't really make sense during the "talk", making weird comments about other significant others of the guys (some of them are gay or poly), talking about the guys not 'sharing their time', and 'they (I assume he was talking about me and other partners) always ruin the energy and I can never enjoy the time with everyone".
Husband was a bit to angry to ask more and just told him to get himself sorted out and not to come over again.
The other guys are more concerned and think Brian is having a manic episode or is getting into Andrew Tate, as Brian is the last single one of them group. My husband kind of doesn't care through and told them to not involve him in Brian's issues.
For me I kind of don't know what to make of it. I feel bad for my husband because he is very stressed after it all. This isn't his only friend group but he has known these guys for many years. I think most commenter clocked it correctly, he is misogynistic and was just angry at my existence.
I doubt there will be another update, husband wants to step away from the whole thing for now. So thank you all again and have a good night!

One of the best ways to practice Lenormand is to throw a daily spread. This can be any number of cards as you like, although it usually consists of three, five, or seven (an odd number) cards in a line. Start with a specific intention and question, such as, “What does the world have for me today?” Make sure you keep this timeline in mind when drawing your cards.
While it may sound daunting to practice every day, drawing cards in the morning is actually quite simple. For example, let’s say you draw three cards. Usually they are read from left to right, or maybe describe the day as a whole. The center card is your focus card, with the last card representing the outcome. Or, perhaps the first card represents the subject and the second and third cards describe it. Feel free to create your own method.
It’s very helpful to keep a journal and look back on your throws to see what worked out and what didn’t. What interpretations might you have missed?
This exercise helps you build a connection with your cards and come up with your own combinations. If you find something new, write down the combination in your Lenormand notebook.
Note that, when you throw a daily spread, the cards usually represent smaller elements of your life rather than bigger components. For example, the Clouds could simply mean a storm rather than, say, mental illness.

At the time of filling the application form i tried again & again to upload a copy of my physical photo, but for some reason it was saying not valid not valid everytime, so I tried again by cropping my aadhar card photo and it worked. Now the problem is that I don't have any physical copy of my aadhar card photo ( as they take one on the spot while making ). At the time i wasn't aware of this " SaMeToSaMePhOtO " rule, so will I be allowed if I showed my physical photo or I have to take print out of my aadhar card one. TL;DR- How do I break it to clingy, super dependent, mentally abusive long-term partner that I don't want to get back together, and get the last of my stuff back from him while living on another continent?
My husband and I met online and have been together for 10 years. In hindsight the first red flag was the age gap/potential grooming, the second was probably how he wanted to bond over mutual mental illnes diagnoses right away. He's always been very clingy and dependant on me to 'talk him through his episodes' and essentially be his manic pixie dreamgirl to help fix him. He thought it was romantic that I'd stay up late talking him out of suicide, whereas I found it traumatizing and exhausting, especially when I had school or work the next day, but I thought that was part of being a supportive partner.
As time went on and the relationship grew, he wanted to spend all his time with me and his friends reached out less and less to the point that I was eventually the only person who talked to him, which he happily reminded me of whenever he felt I wasn't making enough time for him (read: all of my free time) and would guilt me with 'at least I got to talk to other people at work'. It became an unspoken expectation that unless I was at work, showering, or asleep I should be next to him keeping him company or else he'd feel rejected.
Eventually he complained I was sleeping too much as well, '10 hours is really excessive and unhealthy, I found this article that says 7 hours should be plenty for women in your agegroup. You should start setting an alarm so you don't oversleep.' Even though he would regularly wake me up at 4am to make him food because 'yeahh, but it tastes so much better when [I] do it', regardless if I had to be at work for 8 sharp. He'd even get angry with me for nodding off on the couch before midnight because 'clearly [I] just don't want to be around him so much [I'd] rather be asleep!'
He also saw nothing wrong with waking me up after a few hours of sleep to have important discussions about 'where we stand in our relationship', or just to keep him company. If I was irritated or wanted to save the conversation for morning/after work then I was being 'so cold to him when he just wanted to spend time with me' or 'I clearly don't care about our relationship anymore.'
5 years into living together, 3 of them married, I had several breakdowns and moved back in with my mom in my home country. Unfortunately after I got to my moms I chose to call him to tell him I was done and we were over, and he used the opportunity to play every manipulation tactic in the playbook. The same guy who, just days earlier, told me to 'stop with the crocodile tears, you'll get no sympathy from me' was now hysterically sobbing, begging me for another chance.
He claimed had no idea he made me feel so horribly, he was so sorry, he just wanted one more chance to have his wife back, didn't he deserve that much? I was his only family! How cruel could I be to leave without telling him what he did wrong and not let him redeem himself?? He swore he'd never raise his voice to me again, was 3 bad years really all it took to erase the 7 amazing previous years??' And of course you already know he heavily implied not being able to live without me 🙄
Sadly, because he knows what buttons to push, he got me to 'agree' not to end things, but to "take this separation period to work on us" while I saved up for a visa to come back to him so he could have his second chance. But 'thankfully', because he asks me to send him money for groceries and occasional utilities since he's on a fixed income and I halved the household income when I "abandoned him", (my countrys currency is also roughly half the value of his- on a good day) I haven't been able to save a penny so far and have had the last eight months to realise I don't actually want this.
I don't think I'm obligated to make myself get over hearing the love of my life call me vile names, like a "worthless stupid c*nt who wastes the air she breathes" for forgetting to get his cigarettes from the store, just because he realises his actions have consequences. He should know not to speak like that to someone he's supposed to care about. I don't think me no longer feeling comfortable around him or looking forward to talking to him anymore is a punishment against him, or something to 'work on' so much as a natural reaction; I wouldn't expect warmth from someone who threatened to knock me out for being annoying, and its not petty to extend the same attitude toward him for the same threat.
So now with that discovery realised, and the some background context laid out, here's the crux of my problem-
How do I inform him that, although he has spent the last 8 months believing I've forgiven him, had mostly gotten over my 'issues' from our fallout, and was still planning to save up for this visa to 'come home'; I have no desire to do any of that anymore, and actually plan to file for divorce in the next 5 months instead.
---preferrably without him doing a complete 180 and become an manipulative dickhead who sends me dozens of snapchats a day of him crying so hard he gags (again..), and convince me to send me the last box of my stuff that I wasn't able to grab as I left. Unfortunately its all sentimental items from deceased relatives or I truly wouldn't bother, I'm happy and willing to pay the cost of him shipping it to me of course.
When I originally told him I wasn't coming back and requested he send me my things he refused and claimed he "couldn't bear" to walk around the house and box up "precious reminders of me" and made himself sick hyperventilating on the phone. I just want my stuff so I can go no contact 😅.
