Pc auto diagnostic

I have a pc i’ve been working on and i’m having some temp issues.
To start, it’s an i7 8700k on a rog maximus x hero mobo, and a corsair h100i v2 aio . Running an evga rtx 3060, 48 gb of ram, 850w psu. On startup and idle, cpu temp is ranging from 40 to 60. Running any game runs at a minimum of 75, at about 20% load. For example, modded minecraft runs about 75. A larger game like Doom 2016c cpu usage ~50%, temps are just short of 100 C. After a cold boot straight into the bios it will sit mid 30s forever. Once it boots into windows it spikes way up and is very inconsistent.
I know these cpus are able to go that high but that’s too high to be comfortable for the usage it’s at.
I’ve tried reseating the aio and the cpu a few times with no luck. Looked through the bios, run diagnostic tools, no dice. It’s really getting on my nerves now because i can hear the aio fan roaring through my headset, and one of them or maybe even the pump itself has begun to rattle.
Has anyone had a similar issue and found a solution? If i need a new cooler i’ll get one though i’m really hoping it’s something messed up with configuration.

Wondering if anyone has a solution to my issue. I've had a search through the sub and Reddit but this specifically I haven't found yet.
Current action. It's a DS-530 USB connected to PC, using the button on device to activate the scan (rather than initiating from the PC) it currently will auto save to a folder etc. I then need to rename the file which the name changes each time (not a serialized progression of each file). So, go to file, open and verify the info for naming, either "Save As" under a new file with the name or right click and rename file.
Desired action. Push button to scan, have a save file dialogue box appear on the screen straight away instead to name the file to requirement then save.
Is there a config step to achieve this or a different piece of scanning software that could?
Reason to do so is one of efficiency and to make sure the job is done as I could have up to 50 separate docs to scan in a sitting, and part of the naming requirement is information on the page being scanned. So being able to scan, have the dialogue box come up, grab the doc and type the required info then save would be very useful to me.

This issue has been plaguing me for many months and feel like I've tried everything possible to determine the source of the problem or fix it, but still it persists. I want to see if anyone on here has any ideas before take it somewhere for a repair.
Just crashing to desktop at random points in game. Sometimes it won't happen an hour or two. Sometimes it can happen every few minutes. This happens on most games I play (CS2, Tarkov, Portal2). On Tarkov it happens considerably less often.
I've done Windows Memory Diagnostic (no issues), Memtest86 (no issues), Reset the PC multiple times, Reinstalled Windows multiple times, Reinstalled drivers, anything else most sites say to do. I even bought a new graphics card. Still the same.

So i recently build a new PC for the first time in 10 years. Detailed specs can be found here. Basic Specs are as follows:

• i9-14900K (Intel specified limits, 400A, 253W, etc)
• ASUS z790-e Gaming Wifi II
• 96GB G.SKILL DDR-6800 (Workstation/gaming rig necessitated high RAM amout, so had to strike a balance with amount and speed)
• ASUS TUF RTX 4090 OC
• CORSAIR iCUE Link H150i LCD 360mm AIO
• Corsair HX1200i 1200W PSU

So i've run into relatively few issues with the build, booted first try (Sweet, 10 years and can still build 'em). But i have had a few issues. One, temps for the CPU are idling around 31-35 but randomly spike up to 67 in some cases for a few seconds. I've read this is fairly normal for the 14900K but just want to confirm that. Full load temps are around 75-80, and stress tests are capping around 86 at the 2-3 hour mark.
Secondly, i'm running cinebench to get a good idea where it stands and from my reading i expected to get a 36K-40K but i'm only getting around a 34K. I've also noted that when i'm running the test my CPU cores aren't being pegged at 100% use anymore (they were the first few times i ran it), they're hovering around 35-45% use. I'm not getting any thermal throttling that i'm aware of, all the P-Cores are steady at 5700Mz with two at 6000Mhz, and the E-Cores at 4400Mhz steady.
I went back and changed some of the CPU power settings, i kept the 400A and 253 watt limits but set all the other intel baseline settings back to auto. This upped my score by about 1000, but that's about what i expected and still under what i would expect for this build.
I've been out of the game for a while so i don't really have any idea where the bottleneck might be, or what bios settings or other environmental settings might be capping me out here. So does anyone have any general advice or things i might try? I upped the multipliers on all the P-Cores and got better results obviously, but i want to know why i'm not getting what i expect out of stock speed and need to OC to get to stock scores.
P.S. Extra fun: Under load in games all my USB ports are randomly disconnecting and reconnecting seconds later. This is quite annoying. From research i've narrowed the culprit down to the Corsair ICUE Link Control Modules that control the corsair RGB lighting components. Anyone have any experience with this, or with resolving it?

-Uninstall and reinstall ALL drivers for everything I could think of from chipset to GPU down to mouse drivers.
-Replaced RAM, Motherboard, Thermal paste on CPU, SSDs.
-Updated BIOS and reset to default along with changing RAM back and forth from EXPO to Auto.
-I've toyed with the thermals on the CPU and bottom case fan (I have MiniITX build so those are the only fans I can really fit).
-I've even gone through Command Prompts and done a few system runs and sfc /scan____ and there's no corrupted files.
The next thing that I could try is replace GPU, PCIe riser, and PSU but that's about all I can think of hardware wise. I'm puzzled and need another perspective because I'm running out of ideas here! I'm slowly losing my mind with my brainstorming.

Hello! I built a PC around a month and a half ago, I have:
CPU: 7600X
Cooler: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120SE
GPU: ASUS DUAL OC RX 7800 XT
Case: Antec AX20
I started noticing that my temperatures are a bit high when playing some video games. Horizon Zero Dawn has a steady 80-83 in areas with more foliage, and after having played Cyberpunk at 1080p Ray Tracing Ultra for 15 minutes in downtown I managed to get it to 87 degrees (then I just quit the game). Among the suspects are: the CPU itself, small case, me having installed something wrong and too few case fans (3 front 120mm that came with the case).
I started doing some testing and confirmed that 80+ only appear when both GPU and CPU are loaded, on its own the CPU never goes above 71-72 degrees. But then after having installed all of those diagnostic utilities I notices that I never get more than 90W of power, which is supposedly the Eco mode?
To see whether the Eco mode was on, I installed Ryzen Master. Upon installation, it showed my that I was supposedly in the Default (stock) settings for my CPU. Switching to Eco and rebooting I ran the tests,a nd it was still 90W, no change. Switching back to default - 90W. Oh, and now Ryzen Master says all of the CPU readings are nan with temp capped at -2147483647 degrees. Reinstalling doesn't help. Other diagnostic tools read all the sensors just fine.

I just finished the second half of Floatsam Vale and The Unfathom. I spent quite a while there gathering everything I could because I wasn’t quite vibing with these areas and knew I wouldn’t want to backtrack to them later. I know the game auto saves and I saved manually twice. Is there anything I can do to recover my save? I’m on PC so is there a location the saves go? Maybe they are just not synced with the game and I can still recover it? I’m having such a good time with this game but damn if this hasn’t taken the wind out of my sails.

TLDR: I don't understand the post-endgame content and I need someone to help me understand it.
I've been playing for a little over 2 years, and I can say that I have no idea about the game even though I enjoy playing the campaign and seasonal story (I don't know if that can be replayed, would like to), but I have a lot of trouble understanding the endgame. I know there are Dungeons, raids, and other things, but whenever I try them I can't get past the first few enemies. I understand that it's because of my light level, but even at the soft cap it doesn't seem to be enough (and I almost never reach the hard cap). I also don't understand the weapon perks well, especially how to identify which perk is best for what type of weapon, identify god rolls (or at least know why one weapon is better than other when both are the same), how to progress quickly in contracts, even the "generate X amount of power orbs" contracts are complicated for me (my teammates in matchmaking generate 100 or 200 per game and with effort I generate 30), among other things. In general, I feel lost in the game and I feel like I'm missing out on something I would enjoy a lot (because the little thing I understand about the game I enjoy them).
This hasn't been without trying to understand it. I've watched videos, used various apps, read tutorials, builds, tips, I try to keep up with the news but for some reason I don't fully understand it.
I did ask on DestinySherpa but the auto mod removed my post due not beign specific for a raid.
If there is someone that could teach me one or two times before final shape arrives that would be awesome.
PS: I have microphone (can talk on spanish and englosh) and play on pc if that helps

I'm sure this would apply to a minority of people since I think a lot of people are either M&K or play with Vibration turned off but for the few people that enjoy good rumble, It really feels like it kicks everytime I use a heavy weapon which makes the game way way more enjoyable.
In the past you could barely feel the impact and now I feel every single hit when I shoot a devastator in the face, it's great. Nothing wakes me up more than an Auto Cannon surrounded by 380MM Barrages that makes your hands experience an Earthquake.
This is one of the few positive changes they made that changes the experience even if it is for a small amount of people on PC.

Question post - My mate and I playing FH5, using the exact same tune on the same car, and exact same difficulty settings - Traction control and stability OFF, auto shifting, no damage etc. Telematry show we're both at 100% throttle, but they're WAY slower on a straight and significantly lower top speed - can't crack 200mph, where i'm easily 240+. Again, exact same car.
Any idea? I'm PC, he's Xbox, brand new machine, new account.

I installed OBody NG and it looks like it works. When I press O I can change NPC's presets it changes. Works on PC too. However, every NPC (and PC) show as "Unknown/Unassigned Preset". Is this intended? I'm not sure if bodies work, they look different but maybe I just can't see the details enough.
I can see every single bodyslide preset, I get no issue on that end.
Edit: I followed the instructions to the letter. I can manually edit the bodies and they work. The mod just doesn't distribute it though. Disabled almost every mod except tne necessary mods and bugfix mods like USSEP, it doesn't help though. 1.5.97 and every requirement version is matching.
Even AutoBody works. In fact, installing it first, then installing OBody on same save (fresh used coc) works. That's how I confirmed AutoBody worked. For some reason OBody refuses to distribute the bodies though.

A friend's PC had some problems following a power surge (It was plugged right into the wall). Since it wouldn't even turn back on, we replaced the power supply and motherboard, and now it is at least able to power on.
The problem is that it won't display, if I had to guess due to the BIOS still being set to VGA. I've tried both the GPU (1050) and the motherboard HDMI slots, and neither have given an output. We're working on getting a VGA cable ordered, but I wanted to see if there's anything I can do in the meantime.
We've confirmed that the RAM is still functional by moving it over to a different system, where it worked just fine. I've also tried doing a CMOS reset. I've also tried seeing if it gives diagnostic beeps if the RAM is removed, but it did not. Because of that I'm thinking that the CPU (10400F) might also be dead, but again not sure if that's what would cause it. Any advice on how to test it without a video output would also be appreciated.

Since a few days I have been experiencing the windows blue screen, with the error message: WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR. Many times after a reboot it also went repeatedly to BIOS, and could not detect my hard drive anymore, which I could fix by loading BIOS default settings again and checking the UEFI option. Prior to this I always had the BIOS default settings anyways. For a much longer time, many times when I booted up my pc, especially every time after it had been disconnected from electricity, I got a black screen asking me to press F1 for setup or F2 to load default values and continue (where I’d always just load the default).

Windows Updates
Malware Scan.
Chkdsk /f /r
Windows RAM diagnostics.
Updating my Bios.
Checking that drivers are up to date.
And lastly a clean install of windows.

None of these options have detected any errors and unfortunately I still keep getting the Blue Screen, and recently much more frequent. Also after the clean install, especially when downloading or installing bigger chunks of software, i.e. video games. Windows Safe Mode seems stable so far, but it’s also been without any strain on the system. Lastly, I have been getting a black screen with unexpected error and status 0xc0000185, after a reboot following the Blue Screen.

I don’t know what other options to try and I believe that it’s a faulty hardware component now. Though I also wouldn’t know which part to replace to get my pc running smoothly again, thinking it’s maybe the main board.

Wasn't sure how to flair this since the problem could be any number of places - OS, firmware, hardware, network, who knows.
I have a custom-built Windows 10 desktop in one room of my apartment and a Samsung UN75NU8000 smart TV in another room. Both are connected to my local network via ethernet (although I've tried connecting both to my LAN via wifi and to a mobile hotspot network on my phone, with the same results). Since I cannot run an HDMI cable between the two rooms, I'm trying to cast to the TV as a wireless display over my LAN. I've been able to do this exact thing with no issues, on the same TV, using several other computers (all laptops - a W10 MSI laptop, a W10 Microsoft Surface, and a W11 Lenovo ThinkPad), but this desktop is giving me a ton of trouble.
On the laptops, the process is simple. I open the Notification Center in the bottom right corner of my screen, click Connect, and then select the TV from a list of available displays. Everything works seamlessly.
On my desktop however, the TV does not appear. It also does not appear if I go to Windows 10 Settings > Bluetooth & Other Devices > Add Bluetooth or Other Device > Wireless Display or Dock. However, it does appear - twice - if I select "Everything else" instead of "Wireless display or dock". The two listings appear identical (and both have the monitor icon, indicating that they are displays despite not appearing under displays), but they have slightly different behavior if I add them.
Adding either instance has it appear under "Other devices" on the "Bluetooth & other devices" menu. However, while both instances had the monitor icon in the "Add a Device" menu, one of them now instead shows the "film/musical note" icon that indicates a digital media device. The other still has a monitor icon.
Despite having added these two devices, the TV still does not appear as an available display in any context. If I look at Device Manager, I see both instances as separate devices.
The one with the digital media device icon appears under Digital Media Devices, which makes sense in itself, although it's odd that my desktop sees this second instance of the TV in the first place. The other instance, which remember has the monitor icon and seems to be recognized to some extent as a display, appears under Software Devices. If I open the properties of that device, the General pane recognizes its manufacturer as Samsung Electronics, but the Details pane describes it as a "Generic software device". If I attempt to update the driver, I am told that I already have the best generic software device driver installed.
On one of the laptops that is able to cast, I can see that it is using the system32\drivers\monitor.sys driver. I checked and that driver does exist on my desktop, but it is not available even if I go to "Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer" and clear "Show compatible hardware". The only three drivers it lists are "Generic printer device", "Generic software device", and "Uicc Iso Device". With "Show compatible hardware" selected, I only see "Generic software device". There doesn't seem to be any way to force it to use the monitor.sys driver.
I contacted Samsung customer support, and they verified that my TV firmware is up to date. I asked if they had any specialized drivers that I should install, and they responded no - their devices only use the standard Windows drivers.
From there, I went to Microsoft customer support and had a support engineer take remote control of my desktop to investigate. He verified that my OS and drivers are all up to date, ran some diagnostics, and told me that the issue must be a driver compatibility problem with my MSI motherboard. He directed me to MSI support.
MSI support was entirely unhelpful, telling me that they have no troubleshooting steps, downloads, or suggestions for further resources.
At this point I'm at a complete loss, and turning here in desperation. Below is a collection of raw information about my setup, in case anyone can figure out where the problem might possibly be. I haven't been able to find a single instance of anyone talking about this type of issue anywhere online.
