To give a little back story. I '21M' and my ex '20F' were together for a year and some months, and it went very well here and there an argument but nothing unhealthy. Now, everything changed at one point. She got her first panic attack in a wile at the end of our relationship, I was there for her when she had one. But it kept getting worse.
Now at one point I got the opportunity to go to France on an internship for a month and after discussing it with her for a Lil bit she agreed. And during my internship few things happend and there everything went wrong (she din't cheet btw). I came back from internship and a few weeks later our relationship was done.
We talked about it but together and we decided to end it. It doesn't work anymore.
Now almost a year a half later I ran into her again and we started talking to each other. She has another love and I don't.
Now it comes
She also works at my student job where I was absent that year and a half. Now when she sees me now then She acts friendly to me, more like flirtatious. and always touches me when she sees an opportunity. Equally tickling or deliberately bumping into me
2:when we were talking she was subtly asking if I had feelings and if we could ever be together again. And that our relationship would work.
3:The reason why it was done between us was because she got those panic attacks with me purely because of a certain room in my house and because of a perfume I was wearing at the time. Apparently that was some kind of trigger to her first attack.
4:I thought my feelings were gone for her but when I saw her again everything came back to the surface and I am completely confused.
5: When we talked about our relationship to clear up some things she got emotional and regretted that we couldn't better communicate then what was going on
TL;DR: Advice for what tot do is welcome and your opinion for inside.

I am the founder of a SaaS startup that has created a Cloud Managed Linux Firewall Platform aimed at being an alternative to cloud-native firewalls by leverage open-source security.
I am not exactly starting from scratch in the startup scene as I co-founded a successful cloud connectivity MSP and got it to approx $7M ARR - however, this was a consultative sell, smaller volume aimed at large enterprises and were lucky enough to have a $800k/year customer from day one - small number of customers, high value.
This time it's different as its pure-play SaaS and all my own code and intellectual property - its SaaS, so expecting/wanting high volumes as a commodity price-point ($50-$250/month).
The roadmap is long with features I know are required and the price-point at where it needs to be.
As its SaaS, I want to get beta users testing my product/platform out with the basics of features and not make a big/full launch until I have enough feedback and bug fixes etc.
So, my question is - how would you go about getting 20-50 beta testers who are interested in linux firewalls or firewalls in the cloud knowing that it's not a fully fledged all-singing solution just yet (not ashamed to say that it will be fairly basic but want to roll out features constantly when I am 100% comfortable with stability etc)? Also, wanting to keep it fairly stealth and not draw much attention until I do a full big bang launch.
TL;DR - want to get 20-50 beta testers for my SaaS whilst accepting its not fully fledged and wanting to keep on the quiet until I know it's ready for a big launch.

I’ve booked in for c02 laser soon.. the cool peel version which I believe is the lightest. It’s purely to address fine lines , particularly around my mouth and the dr says it will help. What do we think? Is it worth it? Im getting pretty over spending $$ on treatments and just not sure if I should bother 🤔

I have an amateur background in game design, concept artist, study game design, work in education, and honestly obsessed with game design as a whole. Heros, cards, mechanics, systems etc, etc, I’m very passionate about it and I don’t want to sound pompous cause i am aware to how the “oh I KNOW about game design” sounds, but I am serious about it so I don’t want this to sound like it comes from ignorance.
Here’s the list of changes, tell me what stands out, ideas, etc..
General- ultimate Charge rates need to be increased significantly, cooldowns should not carry over between rounds. Healing across the board needs to be reduced slightly which I will go into in each character suggestion for Strategist. (If not mentioned the healing stays the same)
Give players more information- damage numbers, stats, healing numbers, ability explanations, Etc..
Teamups need to be reworked or removed from the game all together. They should be flavorful add ons, not so important that they make or break a charcater like magneto and scarlet witch or almost useless like Magik and black panther, or massively oppressive like punisher and rocket.
Seasonal buffs need to be removed. They are not enjoyed in any game they have ever been in, and creates artificial metas. Also defeats the purpose of the playing your favorite characters, because it pushes you to play other characters if the seasonal buffs are made too strong.
Melee damage characters need to have movement speed increased above normal speeds to help chase and not get backpedaled by other characters. Black panther, spiderman, hulk, etc.
More signs you are taking damage, either visual effects, screen effects, sounds, etc. sometimes it’s hard to tell where or who is damaging you and makes the game feel floaty.
Possible suggestion- add “power” health- a new type of health that can replace a portion of characters like vanguards health bars, that reduce instances of damage by a percentage. Rapid damage instances will be reduced more than single shots.
Example: A fast hitting attack that does 10 damage multiple times will be reduced more than an instance of damage that does 70 damage 1 time.
Similar to armor in other games. Example- hulk health: 400HP+200 power= 600 total on health bar.
Add a universal HP regen when out of combat for a certain time period.
Add a role lock or Queue system, at least in competitive play. Unbalanced teams are un-fun to play against and un-fun to play with.
Hulk- put his leap on a cooldown, dealing damage when he lands. Remove the targeter and make it a leap in the direction he is looking with a set distance about the maximum length of the current jump if not a little less. Also let him aim it down to target people next to him.
Start the game and respawn as the hulk instead of Banner. Makes getting out of spawn after dying take way too long to return to the fight and serves no real purpose compared to other vanguard.
Remove the radioactive lockdown ability, and replace it with something new. Doesn’t feel like a “hulk” ability.
Ability concept Suggestion: a stomp that leaves a jagged rock wall going forward and up in a line that knocks up enemies and damages them. Leaving the wall in place as an obstacle that can be destroyed or that last a short duration before breaking.
Vanguards are all about controlling the area; and right now hulk just doesn’t do that, he feels like a giant duelist who’s doesn’t do any damage.
Gamma burst- reduce damage, now pierces enemies.
Increase melee damage slightly.
Overall the hulk doesn’t feel powerful like the hulk should, I feel like these changes can fix that problem.
Magento- Replace his primary fire with the greatsword from his team up. Reduce the damage, cleave width and range.
Metal bulwark- can now place it on himself as well as Allies.
Metallic curtain- blocking damage adds to megnetos metal rings.
New passive- hold jump button to float into the air, doing so slowly consumes metal rings. Can no longer slowly descend.
Team up (if they are kept in the game)- scarlet witch makes metal malwark deal damage in the area around it when destroyed or when it ends.
Peni Parker- Make being pulled to her web a cooldown that can be activated, instead of being a certain distance away. Current form of set distance feels very clunky, and awkward to use in regular gameplay.
Reduce the amount of mines placeable, and damage of arachno-mines. Limit amount of mines to either 5 or 6. I stopped counting when I had 14 mines on the ground at the same time.
Make arachno-mines able to be destroyed by shooting them. Mines inside the webs are now invisible.
Mines from the ultimate are not limited in amount.
Doctor strange- Reduce damage on primary fire.
Groot- Reduce the amount of walls that can be placed. 1 for each wall type at a time. Cooldown of each wall starts when walls are retrieved or destroyed.
Walls now also have a duration.
I know the initial idea of him building ramps and connecting walls was cool, but in practice it just provides too much ability spam potential instead of building like intended, and that many obstacles in the game at one time that can be used rapidly makes some matches purely unplayable.
Reduce damage of primary fire to be more similar to hulk. ( no reason Groot should have more damage at a longer range)
Ironwood wall health reduced to 600 from 900.
Reduce damage Groot Ultimate does significantly, almost to nothing. Around 50 damage on initial hit and ticks of 5 damage for its duration.
Storm- Make movement similar to magneto, where she floats on the ground. And an activated flight can be turned on and off with an ability key-bind with a 1.5 second cooldown between activations, but consumes no resource, just a different movement type.
Increase base movement speed in the air while flying.
Enemies hit by the Lightning strikes on goddess boost, receive a chain lightning debuff. When they are hit by bolt rush, a chain lightning bolt will arc to nearby enemies who also have the new debuff. But for reduced damage of the initial bolt rush.
Black panther- Reduce cooldown on sprint rend to 8 seconds from 12 seconds.
Increase amount of spears to 3.
Remove spinning kick and replace with a new ability to help him initiate attacks and stay alive.
Suggestion: vibranium shielding-black panther crosses his arms and reduces his movement speed slightly. Creating a small shield that only covers his own body that floats in front of him. This blocks damage all frontal damage and last 2 seconds. Does not block melee damage.
This ability would have a 8 second cooldown.
If spinning kick is not removed, make it aim-able in any direction similar to sprint rend.
Sprint tend cooldown is refunded if a KO is achieved with it, no matter if a vibranium mark was applied.
Bast’s decent resets sprint rend cooldown when it is used.
Increase primary fire melee damage and range to be more inline with other melee characters. Reduce attack speed.
Make subtle step a passive like spider-man or Peni Parker. Feels too clunky to be on a cooldown and doesn’t make sense.
Iron man- Make movement the same as storm new movement I suggested above. Always flying feels like a detriment to the player and does not feel good to play.
Increase direct hit damage of his primary fire.
Keep direct damage as it is now in armor overdrive.
Increase damage of micro missle barrage and make it usable in Ironman’s regular mode, not just flying or overdrive.
Scarlet Witch- Reduce sensitivity of chaos control lock on. Slightly Increase the rate of chaos energy gained.
Mystic projection charges reduced to 1 and now is a single use ability cooldown reduced to 7 seconds from 8 seconds.
Starlord- Primary fire Damage fall off increased (should do less damage at longer ranges)
Primary fire spread increased slightly.
Suggestion: replace blaster barrage with a new ability. This ability is essentially a “I win” button, which feels really bad to play against this strong of an ability that isn’t even an ultimate.
Suggestion: an element gun element switch that have different effects for a few seconds when switched (not constant) fire, ice, shock, etc.. which activate after hitting a certain amount of shots on a enemy.
Effects would be up to devs.
If not removed than the damage should be reduced.
Punisher- Primary fire Damage fall off increased (does less damage at longer range)
Primary fire Spread increases the longer the trigger is held down, starting when the magazine reaches 20 rounds and ramps up on continuous trigger hold.
Stopping the trigger pull will reset the spread.
Shotgun damage reduced significantly, headshot multiplier reduced, damage fall off increased, spread of pellets increased.
Ultimate should have wider spread, doesn’t make sense he can laser beam people across the map. Also increased damage fall off.
Turret health reduced to 400.
Hela- Primary fire Damage fall off increased.
Primary fire damage decreased
Ultimate damage decreased, ultimate duration decreased (maximum 4 Nastrond crows can be fired.)
Blast radius of Ultimate decreased, makes the player be more accurate to get KOs with it.
Magik- no longer gains bonus health on primary fire melee attack or quick melee attack but these melee attacks heal Magik if she is below full health for the same amount of bonus health previously gained: 13 HP.
Bonus health received for dealing ability damage is increased slightly.
Primary fire melee attack speed increased slightly.
Spider-Man- No changes needed that I can currently tell. These other changes should make the character more reliable when playing.
Namor- Character needs to be reworked from the ground up. Does not feel like I’m playing Namor or feel like a comic book character. Decent viability, but boring design.
If the same playstyle is kept, give him different turret types, (fast firing fish, water barrier turtle, slower fire rate octopus that gets an incsreaed attack from wrath of the seven seas) allow him to move while shielding himself and does increased damage with wrath of the seven seas, but has a longer cooldown.
Loki- No longer receives full ultimate ability when transforming, but has a massively increased charge rate.
When KO’d in his ultimate, he no longer is eliminated but reverts back to Loki.
Reduce the amount of healing and damage illusions do.
Regeneration domain- renamed “untouchable domain” no longer heals from damages received, but character inside can no longer be damaged.
Hela and Loki team up removed from the game, or when activated goes into a long cooldown.
Mantis- Ultimate no longer is a heal over time, but a large bonus health shield that is applied to all Allie’s in range. Keeps the same duration.
Movement speed of the ultimate stays the same.
Her current ultimate Feels way too similar to Luna snow ultimate and when used together or back to back feels really unfun to play against.
Luna Snow- Ultimate duration reduced from 12 seconds to 7.
Healing reduced for primary fire.
Healing from share the stage stays the same. So percentage would be increased to accommodate the reeducation of primary fire healing.
Rocket raccoon- Primary fire damage reduced, projectile speed increased. Now has significant damage fall off at longer ranges.
Healing reduced from secondary fire repair mode. But increased if the orb fired is closer to the ally they are healing. (Rewards accuracy)
B.R.B.- now has a duration. (Maybe 30 seconds)
Recall cooldown increased to 10 seconds from 5.
Cooldown increased to 35 seconds on revive from 25 seconds.
Punisher team up removed from the game.

So, I was traveling from Greater Noida to Delhi, and the fare for the trip was quoted at ₹550. The driver picked me up, and we were en route. After 10-15 minutes, when we were on the expressway, the driver said "Sir ek request hai, meri shift end ho gayi thi 30 minute pehle he aur aapka pickup Greater Noida aana tha to main aa gaya kyunki mera dost jo doosra driver hai woh yahi rehta hai. To main usko pickup kar loon?" at first, I outright denied the request. Then he said "Sir please, mujhe wapis ulta aana padega aur fir usko gadi deke ghar jaaunga." I was initially a bit hesitant, but I eventually agreed. I asked him where he would pick up the other driver from, and he mentioned that he would be waiting near AMITY College. I was like route me he h to itna problem nahi h. 5-7 minutes before reaching AMITY he called the other guy, but he didn’t stop at amity. I asked him where is the other driver he was picking up? He said "Sir wo Amity nahi aaya, usko aane mein 30-35 minute lag jaayenge to thoda aage bulaya hai." I found it little shady and straight up said No we are not doing that but he started requesting agin "Sir please sir chalo lo, subah 6 baje se car chala raha hoon, bohot help ho jaayegi, pair bhi dukh rahe hain and all other bs." So I agreed with him k chl lo pr jlde krna. That mf went to Noida sector 18 and drove for good 25-30 minutes and then picked up his friend who was the other driver. I must say, the original driver was very polite in all his requests and very thankful after picking up the other driver. After that, we continued on to our destination. Upon arrival at our destination and the end of the trip, the fare, which was originally quoted at ₹550, came to a total of ₹850. The new driver then asked me to pay ₹850. So we started arguing on the fare price Me: "Main kyun doon bhai ₹850, meri original trip to bas ₹550 ki thi." Driver 2: "Kaise nahi doge gadi mein nahi tha tu pure time." Me:"Maine thode bola tha 18 jaane ko, mera to seedha route tha tekro uthane ke liye hum 18 mein itna andar aaye." Driver 2:"Arre toh they toh gadi mein he AC ki maze toh le he re they." Me: "Abe thoda dimag kharab hai meri trip hote itne toh main pakka deta tere vo dost roo raha tha please please karke toh main mana tha ki haan chalo, ek toh tumhare liye favour kiya khud late pahuncha aur mere se bol raha hai trip aur paise do kya sense hui baat ki? Pehli bar chalata hai kya cab?" Driver 2: "Paise toh pure doge." At that moment, I opened my car door (I am an advocate) and retrieved my court ID card and said Me: "Ye dekh( showing my ID) aur ye jo samne ghar hai na yahi jana hai 8 londe baithe hain ab tu bol police bulau ya un 8 londo ko?" After hearing this he became a little hesitant and said Driver2:“"Pata nahi kaha se aate hain do ₹550 he." He took the money and drove off.
tl;dr: I booked an Uber from Greater Noida to Delhi and the fare was ₹550. During the ride, the driver requested to swap with another driver, which resulted in a 25-30 minute detour from the dedicated route. Upon reaching my destination, the fare price had increased to ₹850, and the new driver insisted that I pay the full amount.

With the Chefs down to 4, Nikki noted that she was back to being the rookie again as Paula and Van had been executive Chefs for a combination of 30 years while Nick was a great Chef and Nick said he wanted to see him and Nikki in the final 2 as he felt the 2 of them had come the furthest and been the shining stars of the competition. Van and Paula meanwhile agreed that they wanted to face each other in the final 2 as Paula said she loved Nikki but Van felt like he had been the one to beat from the beginning and Van said Paula was a kickass chef who he'd love to go against in the final. Chef Ramsay welcomed back the final 4 and said he hoped the final 4 had some energy as it was the weekend and they would be cooking for festival goers who had been up all night and wanted a pick me up in the early hours! Nick said this was the challenge for him as he loved cooking small plates and Paula remembered winning a challenge similar to this in Season 5 but that was for michelin starred Chefs not festival goers so she may have to go simple.
The Chefs had to cook 100 small plates each and Nick decided to go with lamb lollipops to keep things small but sexy while Nikki went with pork and miso skewers and felt like this was her challenge to win as she knew her skewers would be delicious. Van went with small duck plates with chimichurri and Paula went with bacon wrapped scallops and Paula was happy to be the only one who went with seafood as the festival goers were looking for something fresh.Chef Ramsay said it was time to announce the results and said that Paula had come last with only 14 votes to win and Paula said she guessed scallops was an epic fail. Ramsay announced Nick as being in 3rd with 18 votes to win and said that the winner was Van with an epic 43 votes to win for his duck bites and Van was on top of the world to not only win an individual challenge but to crush the competition with Nikki in 2nd with 25 votes and way behind the big Texan. Van was given a nice reward to eat lunch with Chef Ramsay as the other 3 black jackets had to prep the kitchen for tonights service as well as wash, peel, zest, and juice citrus fruits at the bar to make sangras for the upcoming dinner service. Nick said he did like Van but wanted to be in the final 3 with Paula and Nikki, and tonight was going to be a huge test for Van as he'd never run the pass in Hells Kitchen.
Chef Ramsay started service and Van on appetizers said that as important as the pass was, he couldn't have a bad service on the line as his first risottos flew out and with Nikki serving perfect scallops, the final 4 had a great start as Nick was told to come to the pass to be the first chef to lead the kitchen. Nick was confident calling the tickets and said he had done the pass before in Hells Kitchen so this shouldn't be an issue but he had a sabotage coming up as Chef Christina swapped a NY strip for a fillet and Nick sent that back straightaway as he knew his steaks by now and told Christina good luck next time! Nick did have issues as Nikki started to drag on lobster and was noted by Ramsay to not be pushing her enough to get faster. Nick's next sabotage was coming up as Jocky helping Paula on garnish served creamed scallions instead of leeks for the duck and Nick completely missed this and wanted to serve them and had to stop with Ramsay pointing out his mistake. Nick did finish his pass in good style but felt he could have done better as Paula came to the pass. Paula did struggle at the start to get a response from the team but after Ramsay told her to bounce back, Paula called out the tickets confidently but had an early sabotage as Marino sent a ticket saying pork which wasn't on the menu. Paula quickly sent this back and said she wasn't fucking about tonight and was quick to point out Nikki's drag on salmon and when Nikki served her salmon it was RAW and Ramsay noted Paula had great quality control as Nikki's refire was accepted. Paula had another sabotage coming up as Christina substituted squash puree for carrot puree but Paula sent that back as well as she knows what this game is about and Paula finished a strong effort at the pass. Van was next up to the run the pass and he said this was something he'd dreamed about to show Hells Kitchen what a true leader was and he confidently called the first tickets. Van had an early sabotage though as Christina substituted turbot for striped bass but Van sent that back and said you don't fuck with Van when it comes to fish! Nick on meat though started to drag on orders of fillet and duck and ended up in an argument with Van over his drag and when Nick served his duck, the skin was burnt on both breasts and sent back. Ramsay told Van the kitchen was stalling now but Van said he wasn't going to send any shit out and when Nick sent his refire duck out it was RAW. Van knew he had to get Nick together and Nick did serve his refire duck but another sabotage was coming as Jocky on appetizers served a carbonara with broad beans rather than peas and Van wanted to send it out with Ramsay telling him to stop. Van's pass did finish with Ramsay congratulating his performance but Van thinking he could have done better with Nikki now on the pass. Nikki lacked experience running the pass and said the first tickets so quickly that no one could understand her. Nikki had an early sabotage of arctic char being served instead of salmon but Nikki sent this back as she was on high alert for any sabotage but the switching of the stations were an issue now as Van took over meat from Nick but there had been no communication as to what was fired and what not. Nikki asked for a time from Van for 3 fillets, 1 duck and 1 lamb but Van noted that Nick had left the meat statuon a complete mess, with burnt duck, not properly seared fillets and shit everywhere so Van said he was 5 minutes behind thanks to Nick with Nick fuming that Van threw him under the bus. Nikki did push Van to get the next steaks out quickly but another sabotage was coming as Nikki received a beef tartare instead of tuna tartare and Nikki failed to check it and was told to stop by Ramsay. Nikki did bounce back to complete the final tickets and Ramsay said everyone had a good service and tonight would be a tough decision!
The final 4 all said tonight was tough but Van was pissed at Nick for how he left the meat station as not only did it make him look like a jackass but fucked Nikki at the pass and Nick was pissed, saying if Van had an issue at the time, he should have said and he'd never intentionally screw anyone. Chef Ramsay welcomed back the final 4 for his decision and said that PAULA was the 1st chef to make it through to the final 3 for having the best pass, the best service tonight and for being a force all season. Ramsay said it was tough now but announced VAN as the 2nd finalist for proving himself as a leader tonight and for ironing out his mistakes from Season 17. With it down to Nick and Nikki, Ramsay announced NIKKI as the 3rd finalist for her incredible determination all season and said NICK had to go in 4th place but praised his perfomance all season and said he was born to cook.

Hi guys, so After completing the game and seeing some YouTube videos talking about the lore of hollow knight i have a question. Maybe there's already an answer i should have known by now but i cant find it so here's the question.
So we know that the hollow knight and the pure Vessel were created in the abyss and as such the pale king has to choose the pure Vessel to stop the spread of the radiance. In the flashback using the dream nail under the abyss we see that the hollow knight reaches the top of the abyss, but the pure Vessel already got there, the two look at each other (goat Moment in my opinion) and then the hollow knight falls After the Doors has been probably shut down. So if all of this has really happened, how the hell do we use the hollow knight? Did he manage to escape? Did he find another Path? Or the hollow knight we use Is from another land? I really cant find an answer

TL;DR
I broke up with an avoidant partner whom I was nothing short of everything for. Will he regret his decision not trying hard to salvage what we had? Did he ever love me at all? For avoidants out there, do you ever look back and regret avoiding what you should have tried harder for?
Background
I (35M) just broke up with my boyfriend (29M) of 1.5 years. I've had 3-4 'dedicated' relationships in my life, lasting from 6 months to 2.5 years. I try to be a very introspective, growth minded individual. I am not perfect, I have my flaws. But this was the first relationship where I really, really gave it my all.
About me, about him
I have a naturally anxious attachment style, borderline avoidant. If something scares me, I grab tight. If it really scares me, I run. My ex was classic avoidant. He has moved from city to city, having been in several relationships that he leaves in his wake. He is a very selfish person, unable to bend for others without feeling like he needs to get something out of it too. He also uses people, consciously or subconsciously, to take what he can from them without offering anything back. Not just with me, but with his friends, family and those around him. It's something I never loved about him, and should have been red flags I stomped out from the gate, but alas..
There were several key moments that resulted in him hurting me: cheating, (even though we were in an open relationship, so you figure that one out), unable to support me emotionally at a basic level in a particularly hard moment in my life, even not wanting me to go to his mom's wedding in which his own mother invited me to.
We had amazing connection, great sex, similar hobbies and interests. He's extroverted, I'm introverted - both almost to a fault. I thought the beauty of our relationship was symbiotic: He pulled me out, I pulled him in. We spent a lot of time together, he was always present, and helpful in these small, tangible things that ultimately gave him validation for himself. It never really felt like he did something for anyone out of pure, unconditional kindness and love. Despite it all, I think he's a beautiful person that is on the road to improving himself, and with time and experience, will learn and be better than he is today. We all have to go through shit and grow.
What happened
The fatal flaw was he does not have his shit together. He is an emotional wreck - so to speak - who has spent his life avoiding challenges and problems. He is so privileged that he quit his job because it was too much work. He's able to live without one for over 9 months, constantly complaining about having to find work, and how he is getting rejected time and time again. His backup plan is to leave the country to go back to school, where he can focus on building his career. Selfishly, I never wanted that, but objectively, I think its best for him.
This had been a discussion (not even, because he wouldn't confront or talk about it) for about 5-6 months before the BU. The last few months felt us both pulling back, stop talking about future plans, etc. I still, though, thought that if this one problem could be fixed (find a job) he would get his fulfillment back, and we can continue to try to build the relationship. I have been nothing short of patient, helpful, understanding, as well as provided him the space he needs to figure things out.
However, his inability to communicate with me what he's thinking, leaving me in the dark, subconciosuly acting different, pulling back, began to show me he was slipping into that avoidant pattern I knew he had in him all along. My question
I know there is no way anyone can tell me for sure, but do avoidant types like him ever regret these decisions? Or do they warp the story so far in their head that it becomes true for them, just to live with what they've lost? I just can't believe that despite how good I was to him, and how much he appreciated me and our time together, I am just another piece of collateral damage on his life's path.
I can objectively say this was for the best, but I can't help but feel angry that he never put in any effort to figure this thing out, and let external stress and factors that he is unable to confront ultimately tear us apart.

While we are all excited and wait for the new single, let's try to speculate a bit, what it can be. First of all, we definitely have strong Holy Wood references, not only in the teaser, but in many photos Lindsay posted on IG and in Mr Manson's public appearences last year or even two. Then, we all know that something changed in his art after GAOG. The Tryptich was a great conceptual work, combined personal things, social commentary, occult symbolism etc.
After that his eras/personae were generally went away. The complex character Wormboy/Omega/Adam has gone. Yes, GAOG was art masterpiece with many references, deep imagery etc, and it can be regarded as afterword to Tryptich, as POAAF as a foreword, and Arch Dandy and Hatter from that albums are his characters, though without relugious and occult background, more sociopolitical anti-heroes.
What we have now? His personal situation after ERW betrayal, his wonderful relationship with Lindsay, all these allegations and cancellations, which is kinda similar to Columbine thing back then. Plus overall world situation is, say, apocalyptic, isn't it? Last but not least, he clearly revived physically, looks extraordinary young, strong and healthy now.
Taking all these factors in consideration, we can suppose something like "Holy Wood revisited".

Here someone remembered Bowie's Major Tom, who appeared again and again, but I think about other examples. First, extraordinary David Lynch's return to Twin Peaks, where we revisit that old story in complete different world 25 years later. Second, never released Jodorowsky's project, a sequel to El Topo, which was about Children of the Mole or Abelcain. Mandon even was involved to it, but, sadly, nothing materialised. We also know that Holy Wood was connected to Jodorowsky in some ways, from the narrative to the title, and unreleased novel was about to directed by Jodo as cinema, if I'm correct.
Maybe - just maybe - we will have a new conceptual album, where Adam from Holy Wood will be resurrected in new form? In the teaser we have tarot-like and occult symbols again, very similar to HW booklet and videos like Dispossble Teens and Nobodies. One of his looks there seems like new version of his famous HW outfit, but this time black, not white. There is even Perou's post on IG with Born Again reference.
We can also expect return of his trademark joycean wordplays, he could connect his ex last name to the story, as with the allegations he was "nailed to the (un)holy Wood"
As I mentioned somewhere, the only thing is missing for this (imaginary) project is the band. We do understand that no one from golden era can participate on full time basis,as John is in Motley Crew, Ginger too has different projects, Pogo has family, etc etc. Maybe Tim can do music along with Tyler? But MM could bring old mates at least for cameo appearence, maybe in music, or just in video.
And this would be definite Second Coming. To be honest, this is pure speculation, but who knows?

His discography is highkey Insane, maybe the best of the 2010s tbh, he made about 20 projects in that 8 year span (RIP). Additionally he was a great producer and musician, playing many instruments and producing a lot of work between him and his peers. Also all of his albums are great front to back and go great for a full listen.

• Faces (2014) dark, honest, insanely well crafted and dense. Jazz influence. Most call this his magnum opus.

• Macadelic (2012) very beginning of his transition from youthful ‘frat rap’ into storytelling, unique expressing himself. Laid groundwork for a lot of future releases. Standout tracks: Thoughts From A Balcony, Vitamins, Aliens vs Robots, 1 Threw 8.
  
• GO:OD AM (2015) is his more traditional Rap Album.
  

‘Frat’ Rap and Youthful Beginnings

• K.I.D.S. (2010) The beginning of it all. He released a few mixtapes before this but this was his first homerun. Amazing and Nostalgic. This whole era is just fun, feel good tunes. Although his early raps were alot of about girls and drugs (can you blame him? He was about 18 in 2010), from Day 1 he had something special. Flow, Lyrical ability. Also as youthful as he was, I think you will all still appreciate the old school quality about his music, dude was awesome at sampling and homage, Nikes on my Feet is a good example, from the old hip hop legends to the funky indie music he had his ear to the landscape of artists.

Although it was a #1 album it recieved alot of criticism, which Mac took hard/to heart, and likely influenced his trajectory into inteospective music. Still a good album, with great songs, weaker as a whole, but fun, sorta indie vibes. I love the intro.

• Swimming (2018) Besides Faces, this is his magnum opus as well lol. Released just a month before his untimely passing ❤️ it showed a transition into a whole new era and sound of Mac Miller. A beautiful blend of hip hop and r&b with a fresh taste of musicality. Also dense and great start to finish. Standout tracks: Jet Fuel, What’s the Use?
  
• Circles (2020) Continuation from Swimming, this was supposed to be apart of a 3 album concept, Swimming in Circles to Infinity, before Mac transitioned onwards, released posthumously with Brion John I believe finishing some of it. A bit more melancholy, surreal. Good News should make you Ball, or Surf my favorite. Also Hand Me Downs a great one, Complicated.
  
• The Divine Feminine (2016) R&B Love album. Marked his transition from experimental hip hop, then GO:OD AM. Standout tracks: Cinderella. Stay.
  
• Balloonerism (2014ish) sort of a leaked unofficial album, this has some moments man. Sorta trippy/surreal idk. Stand out tracks: Excelsior, Funny Papers, Friendly Hallucinations.

• You (2012) Had an awesome phase of dabbling, this might be the precursor to The Divine Feminine. Jazzy, Love album by the artist ‘Larry Lovestein, & The Velvet Revival’ lmao.

I got a total of six quotes (five from EnergySage and SunRun). I know SunRun gets a lot of hate around these part for overpromising and underdelivering, but in light of that, I'm curious if other companies may be doing the same.
For example, SunRun and IntegrateSun are both recommending 5.2W systems with 13 panels. SunRun wants to put nine on the house and four on my garage (requiring trenching to wire back into the main panel), but IntegrateSun says they can do them all on the house. SunRun puts the electricity needs met for this system at 89% while IntegrateSun puts it at 118%. SunRun has actually sent out a surveyor while the other companies are waiting for me to commit before they'll do their official survey, which makes me trust SunRun a bit more.
Ultimately, SunRun is around $10k more than IntegrateSun (and Cosmo Solaris is somewhere in the middle of the two, promising 122% on 11 430W panels, all on the house). IntegrateSun seems like the runaway winner, but what are the odds that they're promising more than they can deliver?
TL;DR: Given SunRun's reputation for overselling, I'm wondering if other companies are doing the same. Here are the three quotes:

this just happened earlier today, for context he’s 18M and i’m 20F and we met through a groupchat of our mutual friends, we were talking and he was nice at first but would very quickly start lovebombing me (saying i’m the perfect girl for him, telling me he loves me so much within the first few days of us talking, never-ending compliments, even bought me a game we’d play together and told me he’s had the “best gaming sessions ever” with me)
i’ve never dated or had someone talk to me this way before so i was very flattered at first and tried reciprocating his words (though deep down it felt off to me, but i thought he was just being really sweet- i convinced myself i had feelings for him as well) - i hope i don’t sound daft saying this but i barely talk to guys in my life in general and so i’ve never had this kind of situation before!
so about 2 weeks would pass, there would be a continuation of lovebombing and although i liked it at first i would eventually get tired of it and i knew i didnt have real feelings for him, though i didnt know how to reject him at first? but earlier today, he blocked me out of the blue (i think i just didn’t respond faster than he’d hoped) and very quickly unblocked me trying to gaslight me and act like nothing happened and that immediately gave me the confidence to confirm i would reject him (because thats a weird thing to do lmao)
so i admitted to him i felt uncomfortable talking to him as i lost interest and that i didn’t have true feelings for him,and id also now prefer being by myself than to talk to other guys including him
and then he immediately began charging at me with insults! he was talking about how “bad i am for him” and called me sexist slurs which came out of nowhere 😭
i called him immature after that and i said im not sure why i even bothered to keep talking to him given his immaturity and i told him to grow up
i blocked him after that, then one of our mutual friends soon texted me about how this guy was venting to him about wanting to “kill himself” now… but also that this guy was going on about how horrible i am as a person so this friend wanted to question me about it
i told my friend this only happened after i rejected him, and that i rejected him because i felt uncomfortable talking to him due to losing interest from all the lovebombing, his weird behaviour, as well as being put off by him insulting me after rejection, after he said all these nice things to me
my friend understood and is trying to convince this guy to just move on and get therapy
ngl i was concerned, i asked another one of my friends about wether or not this guy could be serious about ending his life and immediately she was like “hell no” after i told her about the excessive lovebombing which basically made him out to just be a manipulator
so now that im no longer in contact with him, i just feel like i’m free from some chains that held me down, i’m glad i didnt keep talking to him pretending like everything would be fine
TL;DR so i learned this guy is 100% just being manipulative and was manipulating me as soon as the lovebombing started (something i had never experienced before) and that him threatening to end his life was purely guilt tripping as well
i’m so glad i rejected and blocked this guy because i cannot imagine myself in a serious relationship with someone like this!

My partner (F18) and I (M19) are in a relationship for 4 months now. I know her since 2022 but finally decided to go in a relationship January this year. I don't know how to start but I have jealousy issues and I'm really insecure about myself. One thing that bothers me a lot is my jealousy.
She is a huge kdrama (Korean Drama) fan, and I'm jealous about those actors. I know it's very silly but I really can't help it.
One of her interest is Kdrama, which is basically a "Female Gaze" thingy, that's why there is so many good looking actors, and the role they play is so unrealistic, and purely fictional, and I fear that she will start having crush on them. I on the other hand, have a huge interest in Sports, such as Formula 1, Football etc. And, obviously there are no women. And I also feel bad about that her interest revolves around kdrama, which has "men" that are there to feed into delusions, and obviously good looking, meanwhile, my interest does not have any "women" at all. I used to follow random female influencers and celebrities before going into the relationship, because either they were beautiful or they were just cool. But she told me to remove them, as she got jealous about that after going on a relationship with me. Those influencers are what clicked my male gaze. Now I don't have any interest that revolves around any women. I used to watch porn and she told me to stop watching it. There's literally no way she can understand what I'm feeling because all I watch is sports, while she watches those very good looking men doing romantic things, which bothers me. I told her about it, and she said "I can give you assurance that i dont find them attractive at all, if i find them attractive, I will stop watching that drama" which was alright untill she said "If i find them attractive" - and those words kind of hurt. She also told me that she can never stop watching kdramas as she's been watching it since childhood and because she's so connected with it, which is fair because I also wouldn't be able to quit watching sports if someone told me to.
*TL;DR; : What do I need to do now? Be mature about it and accept she can find other men beautiful? If so, how to not be jealous about it? Need some advices as I have jealousy issues and I struggle with that a lot. If she finds those actors attractive somehow, shouldn't I also have the right to re-follow the influencers I used to follow? Shouldn't I have the right to watch porn too? Chapter 3:
Jason hated traveling through The Void; that unknowable space between worlds, the infinite cracks in the fabric of reality, through which divinity traveled the multiverse; the bloody place was hell on his senses. No matter how many times he was sent through it, it always felt like he was somehow falling in three different directions, and a few different dimensions, all at once. The experience had left him puking his guts out on the shoes of more than one noble lord or lady, once he finally materialized onto whatever backwater planet his current mission sent him to. It had gotten better, or at least he had gotten better at holding down his lunch, after the eighth summoning... or was it the tenth? He couldn’t quite remember at the moment.

The lack of direction was hardly the only ‘selling point’ for why The Void was such a pain to deal with. As the name implied, the space between worlds was devoid of anything and everything. He could still vaguely remember the first time he was shunted through the place; he had thought he was blind. The complete lack of light in the place made it basically impossible to tell if you had your eyes open or closed at any given moment. Hell, he still wasn’t 100% if he even HAD eyes while in this place. Heck it was not beyond possibility that the more delicate organs simply didn’t exist while transitioning, only reappearing once the traveler was spat out into the new world.

Worst of all though, had to be the utter lack of ‘stuff’ within The Void. There was something... unsettling, about “falling” through space without the feeling of air, water, dust, ANYTHING touching your skin. Ok well maybe he was being a bit hyperbolic saying “anything”, he could feel the clothes on his body. He had thought maybe it was just his imagination, his mind desperately trying to force some semblance of order onto this strange and order-less place. That thought, however, had been dispelled after... was it the fourth or fifth trip? He wasn’t sure why it took him so long to finally try it, but he had finally gotten around to trying to touch something. To no one's surprise, there was nothing to touch within this place; well, nothing other than himself. His skin, his clothes, his hair; all of it was real, the only real things in this bizarre place.

He claimed that the lack of stimuli was the biggest issue with The Void, but the more he thought about it, the less sure he was that that was really the case. Without stimuli it became increasingly difficult to measure time. Each trip was somehow an eternity that passed in an instant, while also being a moment that stretched out for what felt like an epoch. Part of him assumed it had to be a fairly short period of time spent in this place, the human mind was not exactly known to do well in utter sensory deprivation. But another part of him concluded that he must spend ungodly amounts of time stuck in this perfect darkness. Why else would he always materialize with eyes dilated and skin so pale it was like he hadn’t seen a lick of sunlight for decades?

With an unnatural suddenness, Jason’s attention snapped back to the present. He could suddenly feel air rushing against the back of his head, his clothes flapped and snapped in this abrupt hurricane force gale. Even with his eyelids tightly shut, his eyes sent wave after wave of pain crashing into his brain. Light streamed through his squinted lids. He wasn’t 100%, but experience told him that he was either smack dab in front of a raging inferno... or he had just materialized in such a way as to be staring directly at this world’s star.

...Stars?

After the initial shock of materialization wore off, Jason realized quite quickly that he was in fact falling. A hiccup, made into a proper problem by the fact that he never had gotten around to trying skydiving back on Earth, so he was not really sure how to go about righting himself. He tried spreading out his limbs, having some ambient knowledge that more surface area meant more wind resistance, which meant a (albeit small) decrease in his velocity towards the ground. It had been little more than luck, but his right arm spasmed for a moment and remained locked to his side. The sudden rise of air resistance on only half of his body, caused him to flip over, finally sparing his precious eyes from the harsh sunlight.

Cracking his eyes just the tiniest bit open, the world around him was a smudgy mess. Even with his eyes having managed to adjust to some small degree, it still hurt to have them open. An experience made all the worse by the wind buffeting his face and threatening to dry them out. He closed his eyes and blinked a few times. Fighting through the discomfort, he tried opening his eyes a little more. This time as his eyes opened, the world came into crisp view.

The sky was mostly clear, allowing him to marvel at its breathtaking orange color. A few puffy green clouds dotted the otherwise unmarred horizon. He could make out the faint outline of two small moons, barely visible in the midday light. The third moon was slightly harder to miss; he had seen his fair share of supermoons back on Earth, but they paled in comparison. This Ubermoon as he decided to call it, was clear as can be and took up a good fourth of the sky.

A stray curiosity flickered through his mind about how this world’s oceans must be affected by three moons, and what kind of effects the close proximity of the Ubermoon, would have on the tides. He decided to shelve that particular thought for now, figuring that once he was safely back on Terra Firma he could spend all the time he wished admiring the sky and moons. The ground seemed particularly enamored with him, apparently wanting to get a nice face-to-face greeting, as it rushed to meet him at what he guessed was probably about 200-300 MPH.

A part of Jason had to chuckle at how calm he was. If he had to guess, he had been falling for a good two minutes now. His previous record was a measly two to three seconds before his courage had run dry and he had cast a Slow Fall spell. As the wind continued to whip at his face, Jason decided that he had had his fun. He closed his eyes, he breathed deeply, and extended his senses outwards searching for the telltale signs of magic in this world. Immediately he could feel it in the air, he could sense it spiderwebbed across the planet in great magical Leylines. Magic was heavy upon this world, heavier than he had ever felt before. He mused that with this density of Aether, even the common folk were like as not to be proficient mages. It wouldn’t surprise him if a common farmer in this world had more aptitude for magic than a few of the high mages he’d run into during previous incarnations.

So intoxicated by the power of this world, Jason decided to try casting a spell that had evaded him in many of his past lives. Pulling the raw power into himself he spoke the word, Fly. For the briefest of moments, he felt his descent slow; felt the magical power wash over his body as it tried to fight the forces of gravity. Then he felt the searing agony as this world’s mana flowed through his body. The sudden burst of pain broke his concentration on the spell. As quickly as it started, the feeling passed, his body once more becoming as buoyant as a flesh filled lead balloon. A nearly imperceptible *ding* went off as the spell failed; sadly, Jason could not hear it over the wind screaming past his ears.

He pondered why the spell had started to work, only for him to be consumed with immense pain. Stranger still was that apparently the pain did not translate to actual damage taken. It had felt like his hands were about to burn away, but according to the logs he had taken a whooping 0 damage, fire or otherwise. “Another thing to explore once I’m safely on the ground”, he thought to himself.

Seeing as how the spell had started to work, Jason deduced that he must have just used the wrong word of power. This was not entirely surprising; he was still using the language settings from his last mission... maybe this world used different terms? He thought he remembered something similar to this happening to him way back when, if he remembered right, he thought it was referred to as ‘mana burn’. Given the limited amount of time he had for trial and error, he decided to simply cut out the middleman and use Primal. Sure, saying anything, much less casting anything, using the elder tongue took far longer, but it did have the appeal of being a universal language... Real shame the Gods hoarded the knowledge of the language's existence.

Hells he had only learned about it by sheer luck. Having caught the tail end of a conversation between two Divines, after he had mysteriously dropped dead during one of his missions. Then he had had to game the system for several incarnations to squirrel away enough credits, to buy the upgrade that let him translate and speak the blasted thing.

“Grg’Thun dilock aragos nevadool IMPERITOS. Eloom daruso igora myrousnar barumbarae“, he chanted. Again, his body felt lighter than air, and again just as fast as it started his body was racked with a searing pain. Another almost silent chirp, this one just ever so slightly louder, sounded as the spell fizzled out. Once more Jason failed to notice the background noise over the gale force howling in his ears.

Gritting his teeth through the pain, he tried to understand what was happening. He noticed that his hands were covered in blisters as if he had just grabbed a red-hot coal directly out of a firepit. He checked his stats and found everything in proper order. He still had the Divine Protections, and his life bar didn’t show a single point of fire damage, so what the hell was going on?

The spell had been perfect, but for whatever reason Jason knew that it simply hadn't had enough power to activate properly. A sickening thought flashed through his head. Yes, it was possible... the world was flush with mana, but that mana was crude; unrefined. Was it possible that since this world was so rich in crude ambient Aether, that casters had to actively purify and distill their mana before it could be used? The first hints of fear started to creep into the corners of Jason’s mind. He snuck a peak at the ground, and immediately wished he hadn’t. He could already make out the rough outlines of some kind of merchant caravan traveling between the massive trees. He knew that he didn’t have time to distill the necessary mana to try and cast the Fly spell again.

Thinking quickly, he decided that the only safe option was to use a simple Slow Fall spell. It wasn’t glorious, and the abrupt change in descent speed would feel like shit, and make him look worse upon landing, but at least there didn’t look to be too many witnesses around to see him land like a goober. Taking another deep breath, he pulled in as much ambient mana as he could from his surroundings. Working as fast as his body could, he purified and distilled the mana down. He could feel the immense power of it, as bolts of magic coursed across his skin.

He could feel that mana straining against him, singeding off the hair along his arms. He tried to ignore the pain, he just needed to last a little longer, but the process BURNED. According to every system based data point he had access to, Jason was 10,000% fine. According to what his body was telling him, his blood had been replaced with magma.

Once more he spoke the word of power. He channeled every ounce of the pure mana into the spell, willing the arcane words into existence with all his might. Mana flew from his skin, infusing the script with more power than it had any right to be able to handle. Pale blue lights began to swirl around his body, he could feel the effects of the magic taking hold. He could feel his body becoming lighter and lighter. As joy flooded his heart, he heard it. A high-pitched whine, that was getting louder and louder.

Then with a sickening *snap* he saw his spell shatter apart. The excess mana, having finally strained the arcane construct to its breaking point. As if in some twisted mockery, the spell folded back in on itself. The surge of magic rewriting and reforging the spell into something new. He felt his body return back to its normal weight, then increase. Heavier and heavier he became, his weight increasing quintuple fold. In addition to the added weight came added speed, he rocketed towards the ground, faster and faster. He didn’t even have time to curse his luck, before he hit the ground, headfirst.

As his body, gear, items.... basically, everything that was even tangentially “Jason” and/or “Jason” adjacent, were turned to a fine mist. Two separate, yet equally important things happened nearly simultaneously. First, a single, otherwise unassuming, gold coin pulsed a vibrant cerulean before shattering into countless shards. As the energy rippled outwards, time seemed to slow to a nearly imperceptible stop. This first effect was both heavily fortunate and deeply problematic for Jason. As time slowed, the core of what made Jason, Jason, was able to activate a single automated ability, [Ignore Pain]. The ability did its best to bank the entirety of the damage influx, turning the sudden burst of damage into a much more manageable damage over time effect. Sadly, as would be a running theme for Jason in the immediate future, the sheer level of incoming damage tore through the ability's limiters like a cannonball through wet tissue paper.

Did this new update in the patch notes actually happen? I have played since the start of the new season and I am trying to run or shoot but the animation still prevents critical actions. Is anyone else in the community also not enjoying the benefit of this new update? The update is "Collecting a banner will no longer lock the player out of critical gameplay actions".

When I first heard about Nervos Network's dedication to building a BTC Layer 2, I wasn't surprised. That's because the CKB public blockchain technology not only matches but also goes beyond BTC. It not only maintains BTC's native UTXO features but also allows for more complex programmable extensions. While surpassing BTC may seem challenging for CKB public chain, aiming to be a top-notch BTC Layer 2 seems like a smart choice. Why? Let's delve into my take on CKB.

The current BTC Layer 2 market is constrained by the mainnet’s limited validation capabilities, resulting in diverse alternative solutions. The simplicity of BTC's scripting language, combined with its near-zero computation and validation power, has created significant opportunities for market innovation.
As of now, aside from limited transaction validation and multisig functionalities within UTXO unlocking conditions, the BTC mainnet is incapable of directly handling more complex transaction logic involving data validation, state changes, etc. It relegates BTC to an asset settlement layer, relying on extending through a powerful public chain for local consensus and computational validation capabilities.
This leads to a lack of uniform standards or 'orthodoxy' for BTC Layer 2 solutions, making it challenging to rank them.
However, distinctions can be made based on the community's perception between narrow and broad interpretations:
Narrowly defined, only solutions like the Lightning Network state channels and the one-time seal approach of RGB qualify as truly 'orthodox' BTC Layer 2s. They effectively utilize BTC's limited script validation capacity without relying on or minimally depending on external local consensus.
In a more general sense, any extension chain that gains acceptance for its local consensus, along with a cross-chain bridge solution that ensures the safe migration of assets, can theoretically serve as a BTC Layer 2. This includes contemporary Ethereum EVM chains, Solana with its high-concurrency capabilities, and others.
Clearly, the BTC Layer 2 market is divided: on one end are highly-specific solutions like the slowly evolving Lightning Network and RGB, facing substantial challenges; on the other end are broadly defined solutions, where any performance chain capable of securely interacting with the BTC mainnet qualifies as a BTC Layer 2.
But is there a 'middle-of-the-road' option? Yes, and it lies in the Nervos Network, which adheres to the UTXO model at its core, enhancing its performance. Notable features include:
The CKB Network aligns closely with BTC, sharing the same 'UTXO model and mining consensus mechanism,' unlike the account balance model of mainstream public blockchains like Ethereum. The UTXO model has distinct advantages in transaction privacy, flexible transaction structuring, and parallel processing capabilities to prevent double-spending, which may be one of Satoshi Nakamoto’s most brilliant inventions. This is why post-Ethereum projects like Sui and Aptos have also adopted similar UTXO models. Bitcoin's capacity and block speed may be constrained by its era, but the UTXO model is remarkably forward-thinking. CKB adopts this UTXO model, evolving it into the 'Cell model', which preserves the pure transactional nature of Bitcoin’s UTXO model while also supporting the data states found in account models like Ethereum’s.
To simplify: In the Bitcoin UTXO model, the creation and destruction of coins resemble a continuous minting and melting process. The Cell model, however, omits the destruction aspect, focusing on verifying and persistently storing states. Each Cell includes Capacity and Data: Capacity measures the balance in bytes, similar to UTXO, while Data holds any kind of information, including the history of transaction states. Thus, the Cell model can accurately represent balances and manage asset transfers, and also handle a variety of complex smart contract states.
In summary, the Cell model is a more persistent and flexible transaction model that greatly broadens the scope of the UTXO model. It is crucial for CKB’s ability to maintain the security of the BTC mainnet while offering a 'speed boost' to slower Bitcoin expansion initiatives like the Lightning Network and RGB.
For instance, the recent rollout of RGB++ by CKB illustrates this. In the BTC ecosystem, developing a mature RGB solution involves challenges that are not so much about the one-time sealing process of the BTC mainnet, but rather the communication, coordination, and mutual state maintenance among off-chain client validation nodes, particularly in a decentralized setting. In simpler terms, RGB's theory might seem straightforward, but its practical implementation is hindered by foundational infrastructural limitations and various barriers. Recognizing this, CKB integrates these off-chain client validation nodes into its on-chain public validation process. This approach significantly accelerates the intended UTXO client extension pathway that RGB aims to achieve. Complex P2P consensus among off-chain nodes is notoriously challenging, fraught with complexity and obstacles such as potential data synchronization delays or inconsistencies, and susceptibility to fraud and attacks. Transposing this process onto the blockchain can simplify these issues.
With the increasing discussions around RGB++, let’s also look at CKB's Open Transaction data format, showcasing the chain's forward-thinking features. Open Transaction allows multiple participants to collaboratively build and aggregate different transactions over time. It supports partial construction, amendability, and incremental build-up and aggregation. For example, Alice initiates an Open Transaction to exchange a certain amount of Token A for Token B with Bob. The transaction, once started, remains in an editable state. Bob, upon agreeing to the transaction terms, can then add his Token B and finalize the conditions.
It might initially seem abstract. Take cross-chain scenarios as an example: Alice and Bob could independently execute asset trades on various distinct chains, significantly boosting the CKB chain's cross-chain interaction capabilities. In the realm of complex DeFi transactions, where market-driven dynamic adjustments are often necessary, Open Transaction allows contract participants to adapt trading conditions fluidly during the contract's execution. This undoubtedly enhances the ability to manage transactional complexities.
From my perspective, Open Transaction mirrors the UTXO transaction unlocking conditions, capable of amalgamating intricate unlocking conditions, multi-party signatures, and complex transactional environments. This represents an evolutionary and valuable innovation that builds on the foundational principles of the BTC main chain.
Interestingly, Jan Xie, a core developer from the Ethereum team, chose to embrace the BTC UTXO model for his inaugural major project. Despite the broader application of Ethereum's smart contract model, Jan and his Nervos team decisively chose to expand and refine the BTC UTXO model. This choice reflects a deep respect for Satoshi Nakamoto’s simplistic UTXO transaction model and also subtly lays the groundwork for its transformation into a native BTC Layer 2.
In conclusion, I am quite bullish about CKB’s potential as a BTC Layer 2. In the short term, it certainly has the potential to expedite the implementation of projects like the Lightning Network and RGB within UTXO-based chains, offering valuable insights for these 'orthodox' expansion solutions on the BTC mainnet. Looking long-term, the inherent features of CKB's chain and its innovative architectural compatibility may enable it to excel in the complex and standardless arena of BTC Layer 2s.

I recently got a Cort BG modern 4 string which I traded in for my Sire V9.
The reason I did this wasn't because I don't like the Sire. I actually loved the tone and feel. It was because of the weight of the bass being well over 9 lbs.
I have a pain condition that has disabled me and even when sitting, a heavy bass triggers my nerve pain. Sad.
So I found the Cort GB modern vintage 4.
Great specs, to me great looks and designed to be light while retaining low end and and great tone.
Another bass of mine is a modded Ibanez SR 505e 5 string with Nordstrand Zen Blades and a Delano Sonar preamp. It's currently with the shop getting fixed and having a new pot installed.
Both bases weigh about the same at ~7.8lbs, which is perfect for me.
I do have a Classic Vibe Jazz with TI flats as well and that bass is a bit heavier, but just about ok.
Onto the topic.
Over time, I have mostly used DR Sunbeams and Highbeams, though latterly preferred nickel for the warmer tone. Gauge 45-105 (130).
I like their responsiveness and perceived lack of stiffness. Never got on with Low Riders for example.
Now upon getting the Cort, which is a J type bass at 34 inch scale, the Sunbeams feel really stiff.
I have decent technique and a lot of experience with Sunbeams on my previous basses.
I did my best to set it up, but concluded that perhaps the nut needed filing, so I sent it to a local luthier for a setup hoping it would make a difference. It did, but not by enough that I am happy.
The E string is ~2.5mm from the 12th fret.
Slapping is particularly hard and I am having to use a lot of force, which I don't think is right and it doesn't feel nice either. It's more of a fretting issue than a plucking issue though both feel very different to the previous basses.
I tried a set of Highbeams 40-100 before taking it to luthier as an experiment and sure it felt normal again, but I didn't want to give up on my normal gauge because on paper I could not see why I should need to compromise and was worried about ensemble playing and losing low end.
Someone who knows a lot more than me talked about tension Vs compliance with strings, saying that different basses do have different perceived stiffness. I don't really understand this except maybe the break angles and rigidity of construction. But the Sire was very well put together and always was a dream to play (weight aside).
The Cort has a Babicz bridge. Could this be contributing?
At no point even when badly set up did my Sire or my Ibanez ever feel like this, so I don't think setup is the issue, especially as it's been checked by a tech.
I'm ready to go through a cycle of different strings, including a different set of Sunbeams to see if there's something anomalous about the set I have.
Strings on my list are
Pure Blues 45-100 Highbeams 40-100 TI Jazz Rounds
I might go with TI flats but I see this bass as a rounds bass since I want versatility and my other J bass has flats and is happy with them.
Is this experience normal? What might be going on? Any other strings to try?
Otherwise I love this bass and it's very hard to find instruments if decent quality that are at the weight I need.
This is why I have had reservations about going lighter.

Speculation: The scene where Neo fights Morpheus is really the first time we start to see Neo believe in his ability to be the chosen one but also understand the power being able to beat the matrix. With the Alice in Wonderland it's about seeing how far the rabbit hole goes, things will get more crazy for sure and we are going to find out just how deep this goes.

Description: This is taken from the Shawshank redemption where the main protagonist has escaped from the prison after being wrongly imprisoned for many years. DFV has changed some of the narrators (Red) words in showcase his story of being wrongly accused in 2021 and having the flee out of the spotlight. He talks about pressure and time, he presents a lot of memes he has created over the years and then shows a particular screenshot of one of his streams.
Speculation: This tells DFVs story but also has some juicy parts. I think Red in this is a bit like the reddit crew (us) keeping tabs on his story but DFV is saying to escape like him it takes pressure and time (could be gamma squeeze, could be LEAPS, could be DRS, could be holding and buying, could be ALL of it) but all it takes is time and pressure. The memes he posted i wonder if some of those have found their way into various subs over the last 3 years without any of us knowing it came from DFV. The steam he screenshot has been spoken about a lot this morning but it seems to come from one of his youtube streams when GME last broke $30.

I don't even think this qualifies as depression, I'm like 80% sure I've had depression at some point in my life, acknowledged it, and eventually studied mental and spiritual stuff until I healed. I mean, I've definitely felt a strong difference, but not so quite? Let me explain:
Ever since I got into 10th grade, my school pressure rose to 1000%, I started pursuing science thinking it was what I liked, and got on my head that I wanted to be an engineer. That was 2 years ago, recently, I figured I never had a reason to be an engineer, excluding the typical "I want to have money" mentality (which doesn't make any sense because if I only pursuit money this is kinda random? But I guess I also wanted the engineer clout. Anyways, as my school routine got lighter, I am now 18 years old and a legal adult and I have NO DREAMS. I'm not even sad, but like, I think I should be? But the pressure is definitely here, because like, am I gonna end up homeless? I DON'T WANT TO DO ANYTHING HELP.
So I have this theory, I think that all my life I chased things out of pure... pain? I can't even tell. I know I want to learn how to fight, probably going to start taking Muay Thai classes. Just because it's cool and I honestly don't mind pain.
I don't think it is masochism, it is just that I NEED something to happen in my life, if pain is a necessary step, then it is all fine.
I just like pain because it is definitely REAL, my only fear is just a mundane daily life. I just want something CRAZY to happen.
But I guess I still want money, it is just that money was my top priority when I was a big gigantic videogame nerdy geek. But as I said, I have silenced my wants and needs for so long I CAN'T STAND WHAT I USED TO LIKE ANYMORE.
I don't even think this is the correct subreddit to post, I like crying because it definitely helps relieving the pain and I have no shame of it, I see it as useful and helpful!
Should I just keep sacrificing myself mentally and physically everyday until the end of time just so I can feel something?
I mean one thing is for sure, I make sure to count my blessings just so I don't get clinically insane. I have: A healthy body. I like my physical appearance. I think I'm intelligent and everyone around me tells me that. I'm funny and people love being around me. I love being around people. I think I am a very good listener and people usually talk to me when they need help. I'm strong!! >:) I'm fast!!!! >>>:))) I know how to speak English and Portuguese (my mother language) and I am currently learning Japanese just for funsies since 2022. I have a loving family I have many friends
BUT Why do I have no dreams at all? Why can't I see myself in 20 years? Hell, I can't even imagine myself in 5 years. Please help me.
