Hello Forum,
i read Stories of you every day and i thought about sharing mine now that i am at a better place. Maybe somebody can learn of my or our mistakes and i can understand it even better. Me (22M) and my Ex (19F) broke Up in december 2023.
Like a River has calm and wild passages, so does a relationship. I knew her for 6 years and we were together before. After 3 or 4 years of her trying to win me Back she succeeded. She got me to Take her on a Date and the Spark was Back again. We got together again quick and were day in and day Out together. On the Phone or in person, we were omnipresent. She lived 100km away from me but we usually met in the middle and i Drove her Back home because i did'nt Want her to Ride a train at night alone and then went Back by myself. This was and will forever be normal for me. After wonderful 7 months a dreadfull one started. We talked about moving together and how we could manage that. My parents told us we could move in at the Apartment above and we dont need to pay any rent. I told her about it and she told me she doesnt wanna life at my parents. I told her i can understand it, but she can think of it as a temporary solution till we are finished with our studies.
Well we argued a Bit Back and forth and she told me she Want to still Work at her Home town. I told her this is Not in the slightest logical but she can do whatever she wants, tho she will need to Life with the consequences of us seeing each other less and driving daily 2 hours. She told me "you told me about consequences, will you Break Up with me?". I told her 100 Times this was Not what i meant.
In the following weeks she distances herself from me and Starts making weird excuses and did'nt even say goodbye once i Drove her home. She Just got Out, got her Things and Just started to Walk away. I told her Whats going on and she turned around, Kissed me on the cheek and told me she is sorry, she forgot about it. I sensed a Break Up allready there, i did'nt wanna believe it tho.
She distances herself more and after 2 weeks she calls me and Said she wants to Break Up. In my Fury i told her she never seemed to Love me and that her together forever was all bullshit. I didnt Scream, i Just said it and Hung Up. She Texted me that this aint true and she knows how shitty it is but she wants me to find someone i can be Happy with. We talked and talked for a month, me trying to convince her that she is making her Problems Up themselves. She started to think i might leave her from the Moment we got together. Said Things Like "Its too perfect, i Hope nothing Bad Happens".
Well suddenly she Blocks me and scarred and in my pride i left it there. I felt Bad, Had my Downs, broke down many Times but ultimatly got better.
My Birthday arived in March and i thought "This is the day she will at least Tell me Happy Birthday." She did'nt. I got angry whilst being in the Club with Friends at midnight the next day and sat outside while they tried to Tell me its okay. It wasnt for me, i knew her for 6 years and she told me she wants me still in her Life.
Well a month later i wanted my stuff Back i gave her (Warhammer, expensive and i did'nt think she deserved my Army i painted by Hand for HOURS). She replied to me on SMS and we talked about it that she needs a month to be able to make it. I told her its fine. She told me 30min after we stopped talking Happy Birthday and that she hopes i Had a great day. I replied by telling her thanks it was great.
Well a month later i Tell her Whats Up with the Date so i can plan when to leave Work. She tells me she needs Friends to take with because its a Long way to the middle of us and gas is expensive. I Had enough and told her its disrespectful and to leave it. I did'nt wanna Talk to her anymore. She then started to Tell me i shouldnt get angry and that she never wanted to Block me, but i left her No choice. We talked about everything and she told me she was in great pain still and that she Misses me but she cant Hurt me anymore so its okay. Bla bla bla, she told me she was never good enough for me. I told her she broke Up with me, i never was gonna do it. Yeah i got unhappy at some point but she didnt wanna communicate with me.
Well we talked again and then she tells me its my fault and she doesnt Trust me anymore. She loves me deeply but she doesnt Trust me. I Hurt her and i need to Accept the Break Up. I told her im gonna do exactly that. That me and her will never be.
A week later she Texts me that people are making Up rumors and talking behind her Back and wants to call me. I did'nt wanna leave her hanging because i did'nt know what i got to do with it and left my easter festives with my Family to Talk to her. Well, 20min later, she got angry for me saying she needs to man Up a Bit and dont listen to everyone talking. That how can she only validate Bad things said about her but If someone really likes her and wants to be in her Life she pushes them away. She tells me its Something else.
Well after that the Silence went on again. I did'nt hear from her again. Since today, its been 2 or 3 weeks.
Im fine, im talking to other Girls atm and Sure, i am sad it ended, but im also Happy that i didnt end Up with a Person which is fine leaving me.
Moral of the Story: Im Happy. I am okay with it Like it is, tho i still feel a Bit Like its a dream. My Personality shifted a Bit, my strong believe in Love got destroyed. But im Happy with being me and being alone too. I am Not healed, but i am Set on my path.

I am working on a minecraft modpack the likes of which turns fabric 1.20.4 (soon 1.20.1 when legacy4j drops for 1.20.1) into essentially legacy ps4 edition 1.14, and then building off of it as if the game had went in a direction unlike vanilla, where legacy editions were'nt discontinued, and removed/mentioned features are added. I need a modder to code in things like weapons, mob ai, structure gen, etc, as I have no skill in it and have tried but my adhd inhibits me. I will texture and model EVERYTHING and already have the structures done, I just need your help implementing them. this pseudo-sequel conversion mod currently has planned:
-grappling hook crafted via chains, crossbow, etc as a valid elytra alternative -pigmen (trade with via villager gui with gold for nether goodies and enchanted gold gear) hireable bodyguards that can be right clicked with tools armor blocks etc and have same inventory space as a player and know how to utilise items properly, can also be traded with for expensive gold arm guard item, offhand item that can be enchanted like a chestplate and can be used like a shield but has less durability offering even more protection but at the cost of your shield slot, pigmen spawn in ruined versions of the prototype villages in the nether that are super rare as well as dungeons and legends structures where piglins would spawn, neutral like zombie pigmen -repurposed structures styled structure variants (not enough to bloat gameplay)

Genre: Racing(?), Crash-Physics Oriented
Estimated year of release: Unknown, potentially early in Xbox 360's Game release era
Graphics/art style: Gritty, Similar to Burnout: Paradise. Really captured the feel of games from 2008-2010, with grimy visuals and stuff reminiscent of Skate and some of those snowboarding games.
Notable characters: Racing cars, unsure if you were able to play as anything else other than said cars. Muscle-y cars I think were prominent.
Notable gameplay mechanics: Crash physics galore, racing is likely the main feature of the game. During the highway sequence, you had an overhead view of the highway and weren't "attached" to your car.
Other details: I don't remember much of it, but here's what I do know:
* The game had a minigame(?) involving wrecking on a highway, and the goal was to get as many crashes as possible before your chaos basically stopped.
* The style was similar to that of Burnout: Paradise in terms of visuals and theming, but I am unsure if it was Burnout: Paradise. I am certain it had the same text style that Burnout has with the dot grids for text.
* It may have had other similar chaos-oriented minigames like this, but I am greatly unsure * Crash physics were similar to Burnout, but exaggerated to give more of that "movie crash" feel
I have tried to do extensive research into this and have yielded no success, so I thought I might get a better chance with other people who may have played it. A part of me is concerned if what I had found has not been documented, like if it was some sort of easter egg or hidden feature part of a larger game.

Hey everyone, I wanted to make a post to officially clear up the confusion about this mysterious “Silver Parasol Games” website. It caught me off guard today, and there were a lot of details I didn’t understand (like why a guy in Pakistan had the logo and had a website created using it), but I think I have a good handle of what happened here.
When we were making the game (myself and Steel Wool), I thought it would be fun to have a logo for the mysterious “other game developer” mentioned in the game, so I had a logo created for it. At the time, I had plans to even go as far as making a whole website for them, but then decided against it. After all, there is a fine line between crafting an in-game story and just outwardly lying about something. I didn’t want to cross that line. I decided against creating a website, but decided to leave the logo in the game (since it was in-game after all.)
After doing a little more research today, it turns out that a graphic designer had actually thrown together a mock-page for it already and put it up on his personal graphic design page. EDIT: This was one of the designers working for the company who was going to design the website for me before I cancelled the project; that's how he got the logo.
And yes, that’s my personal phone number. I’m honestly not sure why that number would have been on that page in the first place. All I can do is ask for everyone to respect my privacy. My number has actually already been out there for a few months; I’d donated to someone’s school online fundraising page a while back and got doxed using my donation info shortly after. :P So, I guess it was about to time to get a new phone number anyway! Until then, just be aware I won’t be answering any calls from unknown numbers.
So yeah, this was done with good intentions as a fun in-game Easter egg, but then ended up causing a bit of trouble it seems. Sorry for the confusion.
EDIT 2: I want to call attention to the fact that ever since I made this post several hours ago, I haven't received a single new phone call (other than the few numbers who kept calling over and over and I had to block). Hey everyone, just wanted to comment on a couple of things: Showtime, and the mysterious "secret images."
Showtime was left out of the game because it didn't feel right. It's not that it was unfinished, necessarily. There may be some bits and pieces floating around of incomplete versions; but there was, in fact, a completed version. I made the call to leave it out, though. It's one of those things that needs to feel 110% to me, and that may or may not ever happen.
About the secret images; Aaron Fetcher himself, the creator of Showbiz Pizza, was nice enough to take those pictures for me, specifically for this project. I had wanted some cool images of animatronics parts and went straight to him for them. However, I removed them when people traced them back to Showbiz Pizza (I'd hoped they were obscure enough to not be so easily identified). I obviously didn't want to connect the two and make people think that Freddy's was based on Showbiz (that's also why I didn't include his name). I loved Showbiz Pizza, and Aaron Fetcher has been terrific every time I've gotten to talk to him. I just didn't want to send any negative attention his way, so I deleted the pictures.

Hey everyone!
So, I received an email from a reddit member yesterday asking me to clarify something specific about the lore of Help Wanted. He was very polite and respectful with his question, which I appreciate, and I know it’s something that more than a few other users were confused about as well.
So here I am to set the record straight! (and probably create more confusion in the process)
The question is this: Is Scott Cawthon now a part of FNAF lore? The short answer is: No. My name is never actually mentioned in the game. The game says that an indie developer was tarnishing the brand of Fazbear Entertainment by making video games about them, forcing them to rebrand and try to reclaim their good name by making a VR game that made light of those crazy stories. (Or was it all part of the plan?) Yes, I used my own picture for this indie developer because it’s an obvious parallel, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s actually me in-universe.
On the surface, this might seem like an odd choice for a storyline in general, but there was a very, very specific challenge while making Help Wanted. The challenge was this: How do you take characters that are canon, along with characters that are questionably canon, and characters from every point of the timeline, and throw them ALL together in one game that IS canon? That’s quite the problem when you think about it. But it was important for me that Help Wanted mean something; I didn’t want just a meaningless collection of mini-games, although I’m sure most people would have been okay with that. I wanted it to be canon, and that meant that I needed to solve the substantial puzzle of how. Now that you all know the problem, maybe you can understand my approach. That doesn’t mean you have to agree that it was a good idea (I keep a bowl of candy out for people who show up with torches and pitchforks at my front door.)
So no, I’m not canon, Freddit isn’t canon, the fangames aren’t canon, YOU aren’t canon. Only the existence of a game developer that supposedly made video games based on actual events that may or may not be a cover up by Fazbear Entertainment is canon.
Along these same lines, keep in mind that I DO tend to use pictures of me and my family in the games just because they are so readily available. My little boy, Jason, is the face of “The one you should not have killed” in UCN. I’ll share the original sometime; he looks sweet as an angel in the original picture and I turned him into a monster! In FNAF4, I used a picture of a mountain range that I took while I was a truck driver in West Texas. I used a picture of a snowman that me and my older sons made together. I used a picture of a pet Mockingbird that we nursed back to health one year. Do these have lore significance? Well, you probably already know the answer.
Again, this doesn't mean you have to agree with any of it. I'm always available for a good roasting (and I sometimes deserve it), although I will say that I appreciate the fandom being polite about it, which everyone usually is. :)

Here is a funny story. When I went to visit Skylar about a month ago, I took several POP figures for him in a bag, and I quizzed him to see how fast he could name the characters when I pulled them out. I brought several lesser known characters and thought I'd stump him a few times but never could. The last one in the bag was Dark Springtrap, arguably the most obscure character in the franchise, with doubts that he even exists as a character at all. I thought to myself... I've got him, because NO ONE knows this character! I pulled the toy from the bag and Skylar was like "Dark Springtrap", without missing a beat. The kid knew his fnaf. ;)

Is the story Solvable:
I’ve enjoyed the memes roasting me about the plot-line lately, but it does have a serious underlying concern from many in the community, and I hear you. The question is this; is the lore solvable?
Since that’s kind of like asking Is the story complete, in an ongoing story, it’s difficult to answer. So, let me say this instead. Over the next few years there are a lot of projects planned, and most are very story driven. Lots of the later stories will answer some of the biggest questions from the fan base over this past year, in my opinion.
Very few people will likely ever feel completely satisfied, as there are just too many head canons out there and so many great ideas on where the story could go, but I think there are good things to be found for people who are looking. All I can do is say that some questions will be answered; even if it may not always be the answer you wanted. Be patient. Let me at least say this; future games will look forward; but look to the novels to fill in some of blanks to the past!

FNAF Movie History:
Hi everyone.
Before we get to the bad news concerning the state of the Five Nights at Freddy's movie, I wanted to share a brief history of the FNAF screenplay. It's been a long road, so let's take a look at some of the screenplays that have come and gone over the years, in no particular order. (Or, feel free to skip to the end really quick to see the bad news, and then come back and enjoy the list!) ;)
Some of these came from big studios, some from big directors, some from me, and some from other hired writers. I gave the screenplays a name, and I'll include a brief synopsis, as well as what ultimately led to each screenplay being rejected.
Let's get started!
The "F" screenplay
Basic Setup: Group of teenage trouble-makers break into Freddy's; chaos ensues
Problems: Although a pretty basic setup, there were a lot of odd choices here, which only got weirder as the story continued. The story ended with our protagonists in a secret underground animatronic factory that was designing robots for the government. -___-
Verdict: WT@#$@ Strayed way too far from source material! Tossed.
The "Plushies Take Manhattan" screenplay
Basic Setup: Plushies take Manhattan.
Problems: Plushies took Manhattan
Verdict: Burned with fire.
The "Random Charlie" screenplay
Basic Setup: Charlie and friends sneak into Freddy's after-hours to retrieve a lost toy.
Problems: Although sharing names of familiar characters from the series, these characters had nothing to do with their game and book counterparts. So, while featuring familiar elements of the games, it seemed too "loosely based" on the game, and lost a lot of its impact because of it.
Verdict: Felt like a random bag of FNAF elements with no real stakes. Meh.
The "Silver Eyes" screenplay(s)
Basic Setup: Kira and I both worked on three versions of a Silver Eyes screenplay over the course of about a year, trying to find the right approach to the story from the first book.
Problems: These were the first attempts I made myself to write a screenplay after realizing it was going to be difficult to find someone else who understood the lore well enough to do it. Unfortunately, it also meant these screenplays suffered greatly from my inexperience at writing. Even Kira, with her writing expertise, couldn't save them.
Verdict: Although these had some good elements, I ultimately decided to focus on making a screenplay from the games and not from the books.
The "Pawn Shop" screenplay
Basic Setup: A kid who watches after a pawn shop finds trouble when an animatronic is brought in. It turns out Freddy's had been robbed, and the animatronics were taken to different locations for sale. The other animatronics come to retrieve the one at the Pawn Shop, and the kid and his friends get roped into adventure.
Problems: A creative approach, but felt a little too much like "a boy and his animatronic". Too much after-school adventure, not enough horror.
Verdict: Seemed like a good idea at the time.
The "Cassidy" screenplay
Basic Setup: Diving deep, this screenplay packed in a lot of lore, following the story of Cassidy.
Problems: Spanning multiple time-periods, following multiple characters, and featuring lore from multiple games, this was pretty saturated, saturated to a fault. It may have been satisfying to the most hardcore fans, but it would have left the majority of people confused and lost. (Hey wait, maybe this WAS the most accurate screenplay...)
Verdict: Ultimately more of a visual encyclopedia than a movie, this just wasn't satisfying, even to me. Out.
The "Misfit Kid" screenplay
Basic Setup: Single Mom brings her kid to a new town; kid finds Freddy's; hilarity ensues.
Problems: One of the problems in creating a modern day story with an old Freddy's setting is finding a way to connect the protagonists to the restaurant, finding a reason for them to be there, and finding a reason for them to stay. The problem here was that the reason for this kid to go to Freddy's and have misadventures was too contrived and too forced.
Verdict: Not a bad setup, but it just didn't work. If I don't care about the characters, then there's a good chance no one else will either. Pass.
(This was going to be THE screenplay for a while because it didn't have any serious flaws. I ultimately just decided it wasn't good enough though.)
The "Ghost Trackers" screenplay
Basic Setup: A group of amateur ghost-trackers sneak into the abandoned Freddy's.
Problems: Although a very common-sense setup for this sort of movie, the problem again arose about how to give these characters a connection to Freddy's itself. What ended up happening was too much of the story went to their own backstories and their own hardships, and it took the spotlight away from the story of Freddy's.
Verdict: A stronger connection between protagonist and Freddy's was needed. Lesson learned.
The "Insane" screenplay
Basic Setup: Another ghost-tracker variation, this one involved the Funtime Animatronics, underground ball-pit tunnels, and a Marionette out for revenge!
Problems: As some other screenplays ventured too far into adventure, this one went too far into action.
Verdict: Too all-over-the-place, with too many characters doing too many things.
The "Mike" screenplay
Basic Setup: Hmmmm. This makes sense. Why didn't I think of this before?
Problems: Actually this is a good mix... it has the best pieces from all the previous screenplays... Not really any problems here. All the right characters, all the right motivations, all the right stakes...
Verdict: Yeah, we're going with this one. It's fun, it's scary, and it has a great central story!
Oh right, so onto the bad news. The bad news is that there won't be any more screenplays to add to this list since we're officially making the "Mike" screenplay.
Filming starts in Spring!!! :D

I actually never knew about this!!! That is a pretty special "typo" actually, copy and pasted from a time before Freddy's name was Freddy Fazbear. For a very short time, Freddy's name was going to be Freddybear, and that must have been when I originally typed this. I likely went back and changed other parts of the description but missed this one!

Hey everyone, some issues are much easier to address than others, and this is an easy one.
As many of you know, Doug does something in the novelization that seems... out-of-character from the Doug we all knew and loved from the movie. This specific item was deleted from the official transcript months before the book was printed, but maybe I accidentally submitted the wrong version to Scholastic; I'm not sure.
Either way though, just to clear this up: Movie-Doug IS canon. Book-Doug is NOT canon. This is something I will change in future prints.

Talbert Files:
Okay everyone, here my official statement concerning The Talbert Files.
As I said elsewhere, I don't know what The Talbert Files is- I haven't looked at it yet. I never said it was fake, though, despite the emails I'm getting. We are talking about 2017, and that's a long time ago. If it is an unpublished version of The Freddy Files, like everyone says, then it was obviously rejected. Lots of stuff gets rejected. One thing that everyone needs to keep in mind is that a lot of companies that I work with come up with products from time to time that try to fill in the gaps of the lore. They essentially create new lore in trying to create a product. This happens a lot more than you may realize. Almost every time this happens, however, I step in and say- No, don't create lore; just focus on established lore. Even a detail as small as an "EST 1983" on a T-Shirt; I'll say NO, don't include an established date because that confuses the lore. Companies don't realize this; they have good intentions. All of this is to say that yes it's possible that "The Talbert Files" is an old version of The Freddy Files, but if it is, it was obviously rejected. Anytime you see an unpublished book, or unpublished screenplay, or even scrapped merchandise designs, try to keep in mind that a lot of ideas get scrapped because they are simply bad ideas. (I have enough bad ideas on my own; I don't need help.)
The other problem is that I've seen emails supposedly by me that were not written by me. I do sometimes reply to emails, rarely, however the one that I've seen posted on Reddit and one the one sent to me privately by members of this "Talbert group" is a fake. It wasn't written by me; there are too many obvious giveaways.
Please don't harass anyone over this. I think there is a lot of confusion over this obviously, but I don't think anyone has intended to cause problems.
EDIT: Okay, I've been looking through some of The Talbert Files pages. I couldn't find any downloadable versions but I watched YouTube videos browsing through it. I can pretty confidently say that The Talbert File is fake, and not an unreleased Freddy Files. It looks completely unfamiliar to me, and not something Scholastic would have put together. It also mentions characters that weren't created until years later. Pretty sure it's fake, folks.

I'm not sure when drones were available to the public but by looking at the quality of the photo it seems to have been taken by an older camera which would mean a heli ride. Hello, this is something you might have missed in Help Wanted 2.
Previously Post Interesting things:
  1. Our main character, HW Jeremy, Cassie's dad, is already wearing the Security Mask before we even start the game. This means Glitchtrap has access to his mind and body. As for what that entails...
  2. Help Wanted 2's AMask-on version of the FNAF6 Pizzaria might be based on Micheal's canonical look for it near the end of Pizzaria Simulator.
  3. After completing each minigame, a party hat, plate, and cup will appear on the table next to you. Whose party are we attending as a guest?
  4. The protagonist of Help Wanted 2 is HW Jeremy, discovered through the color blue items which are prominent in the game and used for his name and shirt in Ruin. Jeremy was a former employee of Circus Baby's Entertainment and Rental and may have been present during the events of Sister Location.
  5. In the First Aid minigame of Help Wanted 2, the "GET WELL SOON!" drawings depict Baby's life as seen through Vanny's eyes, hinting towards the game's secret ending. These drawings also reveal that Baby's data card from Sister Location was inside Helpy in Pizzeria Simulator and survived the fire. As a result, her programming was eventually absorbed into the Pizzaplex's Network, leading to her appearance in Help Wanted 2.
  6. Glitchtrap may have collected the souls and memories of the original dead kids into the Pizzaplex's Network and in this game, Jeremy is going into Glitchtrap's memories.
  7. Help Wanted 2's Fizz Faz minigame's location is the same but different location in Security Breach. They both have identical objects placed in the exact place as each other, giving evidence to the fact that Jeremy is physically moving to certain locations in the Pizzaplex when clicking on the minigames.
  8. Helpi in this game is indeed Glitchtrap in disguise. Unlike Ruin, Helpi is not his own entity in this game because we're not connected to the V.A.N.N.I. network due to being in the FNAF6 pizzeria. The V.A.N.N.I. network only covers the entire Pizzaplex but doesn't go past the door to the underground in Roxy Raceway. Glitchtrap has a preference for using proxies and decoys to communicate with the unsuspected to get them to do what he wants.
  9. The Daycare Attendant is constantly in the Network by way of personality switches. No matter which of personalities is dominant, the other would still be active in the Network itself and can move freely within it. Whether it means Moon taking orders and interacting with Glitchtrap and Vanny through it or Sun being a witness to all that Moon does. Since Moon is the one who seems to be aware of Jeremy's presence in HW2, and Sun shows no signs of such awareness, it means that Sun is currently the dominant personality in the real world while Moon is in the Network, keeping an eye on Jeremy.
  10. There is a connection between the Carousel minigame in HW2 and the Corn Maze in Help Wanted through the lantern on the haystack. The Dreadbear DLC might hold some importance to HW2, but what that is unknown.
Now back to our unregularly scheduled series!
Well actually, before we start I want to ride a couple of trains of thoughts to see where they go. Don't worry, they're quick trains.
First, is the Security Mask. Something that's been bothering me, is its presence in the lore of the new-era games. I mean think about where it first showed up, Help Wanted's Dreadbear DLC. And since then, it has shown up in every single game afterward, yes I'm counting its appearance in Security Breach's early trailers as its Security Breach cameo as we know stuff was cut from the game surrounding its gameplay and story.
When looking at the mask from that perspective, its importance and lore relevance suddenly become much more enormous, even without the knowledge provided about it by Ruin. But from that very same perspective, its origins become mysterious and weird when put under more scrutiny.
Like it just there, in a basement after finding all five keys and unlocking the cellar. So I decided to take a brief but closer look at Help Wanted and its DLC as I got a hunch that there's something we missed.
But unfortunately, I haven't found anything conclusive. Well, except for this odd box in the Corn Maze. As I stared at this mysterious box, my mind couldn't help but think of that other one. You know, that one mystery box in this franchise that all theorists will instantly recall if mentioned. The FNAF4 locked box.
No matter which way I looked at it, my mind kept telling me that it was and wasn't that same box. I mean, the general shape was spot-on, and the colors and look were seriously close as if it was an aged and dirty redesign based on the FNAF 4 one.
Even the fact that you could find one of them on top of a safe, could hint that this was box was something meant to keep something safe and hidden.
Then I thought that maybe this was an open treasure chest, as there was a Foxy Log Ride minigame in this DLC too, so maybe it was related to that. But nope! There are actually multiple boxes like it on the Corn Maze map and I found one that was closed and showed what the lid to this box looked like.
That is way too close in design to be a coincidence, it had to be the same box right?! Steel Wool has given Scott-era things a slight redesign before, could this be one of them?
But before I let my excitement cloud my judgment and jump the gun to make a post about it, I had to make sure of something. Does the box have two locks on it?
That is where this box fails to meet expectations. There aren't any signs on the box that it looks like it requires two locks, contrary to that idea, it seems to need only one as you can maybe see from this picture.
I'll admit, it's close, really close, but I don't think it's a remade FNAF4 Box. It's hard to see the exact design of it from other people's videos, especially because they aren't focusing on it, so I could be wrong about it needing only one lock. But I've had no luck in finding someone examining the box in 4k video quality.
So far now, I'm calling them two different boxes and leaving it up to you all to take a closer look at that box in Dreadbear's Corn Maze minigame, in case you beg to differ. But before we completely move on from this, I have to say that the box along with this red object on the ground with a glowing green dot makes them together suspicious and lore teasing. But it could be nothing.
And finally, the Security Mask, or the Vanny Mask, or the Strange Mask, or simply the Mask. I'm starting to suspect this Mask has even greater importance than we all realize.
Has anyone ever stopped and wondered about this Mask being in the game? Seriously, think about it. Help Wanted, the game, exists in-universe right?
But this Mask has not only been bothered to be modeled into the game but is also an interactable object for the player. Was this Vanny's doing? Did she model her proto-mask into the game itself as she finished completing it?
Going through her Help Wanted Dreadbear dialogue, she says the following: "Yes, I have it, I made it myself." "I think you would like it."
I and many others thought she was referring to the Mask in this dialogue. While that could still be the case, It could also be referring to her complete costume we see in Security Breach, not the Mask. And thinking about it more, I'm starting to have serious doubts about it.
It seems unlikely that Glitchtrap could have influenced Fazbear Entertainment to use Vanny's proto-mask design for their Faz technicians, especially if the Mask was created by an unknown third party. It's more probable that the company would have designed the mask in-house rather than adopting an external design.
Remember, Vanessa was with a different company when she got infected with Glitchtrap and made her mask and or costume, and didn't become a true Fazbear employee until the Pizzaplex was up and running.
And not once, since Vanny and the Mask were introduced together to us have they been seen together.
I believe most of us thought Vanny's Security Breach Mask was just the Help Wanted Mask remade or updated. Pretty much being one and the same. It's the reason why we were all shocked to see the Help Wanted mask again in Ruin.
The fact that Ruin informs us that the Security Mask is not actually the Help Wanted Mask but a mass-produced copy for the Pizzaplex technicians throws things into a more confusing loop.
There's got to be something I'm missing here, but what? You know, what is the mask actually called in Help Wanted game files? Maybe there's a clue there. Huh, it's actually called Strange Mask, neat.
That doesn't actually tell me anything... wait hold on. We find the Strange Mask hidden in the basement cellar in the middle of the Corn Maze. It sits on a candle in an opened prize box... The Strange Mask is the prize... There's a hatchet embedded into the table and a destroyed banner...
The Fall-Fest depicted in Dreadbear is 1983 and by the tone of all the breathing we hear throughout the Corn Maze, the character we're playing in that minigame is distinctly male.
Holy! The Strange Mask in Help Wanted isn't Vanny's it's Williams! That's why when we put on the mask, we immediately steady our breathing and become calm. This is referencing one of William character's traits in the Silver Eyes trilogy!
Wearing the Spring Bonnie Mask gives William the confidence to speak to Charlie and the gang after being knocked out and tied up.
Now since I don't have the Silver Eyes trilogy and pictures of graphic novels don't exactly give a description of Williams's feelings during this scene, I'm going to have to find some way of acquiring the exact passage of this scene in the books online.
Luckily, and thanks to u/L0rem-Ipsum-Docet from the FNAFtheories subreddit, who posted an analysis of this scene, including the exact wording used for it from the books, we have the book's passage, if a bit fragmented, of this scene. Yep, that's right! I'm going to analyze an analysis! Inception (movie) style!
So to help fill out the gaps posted by u/L0rem-Ipsum-Docet, I'll be using what's shown in the graphic novel. So let's see what's going on with William after he wakes up and is confronted.
His mouth opened slightly, but no words came out. After a moment, he became still again, so still that Charlie reluctantly pressed her fingers to his neck to check for a pulse
After being introduced to John's first, William looks at the Spring Bonnie mask that sits nearby. Something that Charlie notices.
“That's it? You want that?” Charlie stood and approached the [Springbonnie] mask. “You need this?” she added in a whisper.
Charlie puts the Spring Bonnie mask on William and asks a question of hers that needs an answer.
My dad trusted you,” Charlie said. (...) “What did you do to him?” Her voice broke.
“I helped him create.”
“We both wanted to love,” he said in those melodious tones. “Your father loved. And now I have loved.”
Now, after this, there's a bit more dialogue back and forth between William and the Charlie gang, but I feel this is what I need to get the point across. But I want to bring up something said by u/L0rem-Ipsum-Docet in their analysis as it relates to what we are discussing here.
"And that's already a problem for me. William has never shown such a strong attachment to his costume. In NO other scene than this one does he need the mask to speak, no matter how difficult the situation is."
You see something that is missed here, is that William, for all that he might seemed calm and collected, is actually in a state of panic.
His secret is out, he's surrounded, tied up, and has nowhere to go. But instead of freaking out in hysteria or struggling to break himself free, he remains still. Human beings, or really almost all living things, have a natural survival mechanism when under threat which is a fight or flight response.
Now, William is not under a serious physical threat at the beginning of this scene but rather a psychological one, as the signs of stress are clear by this reaction.
His mouth opened slightly, but no words came out. After a moment, he became still again.
Like being caught by your parents in a serious lie that will have consequences for you, you're stressed and panicking. But not at the level of a fight or flight response, so you pick the other lesser option out of the two extremes, and you do nothing.
You clam up to try to figure out a way to get out of the situation. But for William, the time to come up with something is short as next, he's hit by John, and from the way the graphic novel depicts it, it was a good meaty punch to the face that had spit flying.
Now, anyway plans or words he had thought up, would be wiped away and clouded by the rush of adrenaline and the added stress of being hit. In William's stunned state of panic, he claims up even further.
But it's here where William finds a way out from all that build-up stress, a way to cope with it in a way that allows him to finally speak and destress. The Mask, Spring Bonnie's mask in the case of the Siver Eyes.
Something that has been wordlessly conveyed in the Scott games but has now been back by the Silver Eyes trilogy, is that the Spring Bonnie suit is a source of strength for William, psychologically.
In FNAF3, when stopped by the ghost of the dead five, William is straight up in flight mode in his response to the situation, but once he's in the suit he's calm. Calm enough, that despite being confronted by freaking ghosts, he's confident enough to laugh.
In The Silver Eyes, once Charlie puts the mask on him, he's calm, and confident even, as he responds to her question, not just in a plain tone, but in a melodious one.
For those who don't know what that word means and don't want to bother googling it, it's basically saying he's talking in a tuneful or pleasant-sounding voice. Which is very ill-fitting for him in this situation when all the cards are in Charlie and the gang's hands.
And now here we are in Help Wanted's DLC, with a mysterious man in a corn maze, who running from death and finds refuge in the form of a rabbit mask on a homemade altar. There was no reason for the Mask to be lying on top of a candle unless it was someone's prized possession.
Oh wow, I just realized that the FNAF4 house that appears in the distant background for the main hub world of the DLC is trying to hint at the DLC being somewhat about William Afton in 1983.
Good lord! I've even made a connection with Grimm Foxy! Recently, I've been wondering about him and his odd presence in the Princess Quest 3 minigame. But it's his name! His name is the clue!
He's called Grimm Foxy. Grim could mean Grim Reaper, as in Death, exactly what William fears as told by the Silver Eyes trilogy! Grimm Foxy's designs even invoke this idea by having his hook hand replaced by a sickle!
And what the meaning of a sickle is in folklore, is that it's an image that is meant to remind us that Death will come to harvest us like we harvest crops in a field. And corn, by the way, is a crop. This makes this entire Corn Maze minigame an allegory for William escaping death.
But wait! This is even more to connect here!
Grimm here is spelled with a double m instead of the usual singular m, which means this particular word is actually referring to the Germanic word Grimm instead of Grim, which changes the meaning from extremely bad, unpleasant, and depressing to rage, fury, and wraith.
And what's the iconic phrase that appears in the notorious GAME WON! barn easter egg after throwing a dart at three clowns? "I T M E!". Something synonymous with one golden animatronic who is confirmed to be inhabited by one particular spirit that we meet in UCN, a game starring the one and only William Afton.
Vengeful Spirit
Does this mean Grimm Foxy is Vengeful Spirit?! I don't know, but this could be a case of Vengeful Spirit using another form as an extension of itself to torment Willliam.
But Geez, I'm going to have to pause this. I apologize, but I truly thought that this train of thought was going to be quick. But I just kept finding and connecting stuff in Help Wanted and now we're practically in the middle of this part and I haven't written a single word concerning Help Wanted 2!
I haven't even gotten deeper into the Vanny/Vanessa portion of my thoughts where I finally talk about a theory that I've had since the final Ruin "Prove It!" post called Double-V, but that can wait until Vanny or something about her appears later in Help Wanted 2.
Thankfully, this little detour was worth it, but ugh! This means I'm going to have to do a deep dive on the first Help Wanted if stuff like this is what we all missed about it!
But to sum up my current thoughts as of now about the Strange Mask and any ideas about it. It's William's old mask before Spring Bonnie was made and might've been used when he killed Charlie or someone outside the restaurants. I think it was a regular mask, not something like its Security Mask iteration. Oh, and I had a thought that maybe it was in FNAF4's locked box.
And one more thing, something else might've happened in 1983 considering Golden Freddy's "It's Me" cameo. Maybe it had something to do with CC's death since that was the year of the bite? Or maybe the year holds importance to William? Nope, stop right there.
We'll maybe talk about this more at a later date. Shoot! I'm going to have to make a post about this.
Now let's really get into Help Wanted 2!

"Shoot the targets to get a high score!"
This was the first time you were given only one set of instructions for what you were about to do. You felt apprehensive about that since it seemed too simple and easy but despite your misgivings, you pressed the "START" button and solider on into darkness before you found yourself sitting in a floating seat on a water ride with wooden double doors with an emblem on both doors that was Foxy's head with crossed cutlass behind him.
"Welcome to CAPTAIN FOXY's COWBOY ADVENTURE."
Hearing the voice of Foxy over the sounds of water shifting below you, snapped your attention to said animatronic with a pirate hat and baby-blue captain jacket standing on the right side platform near you.
"Use them there hand cannons to shoot anything that moves!"
At first, you panic because nothing is preventing Foxy from getting you. But as he kept talking, you realized he was one of those old-school animatronics that were bolted in place and couldn't actually move. You didn't see his bolted feet but you had a feeling that they were because of the strategically placed crate preventing anyone from seeing his feet.
With no danger currently present, you took the chance to take a look around.
To your right, with light coming through it, was a long wall that might've been simple wallpaper with spotlights shining through it to simulate daylight in the room you were in. The wallpaper depicts an indoor room with an ordinate chair a desk with an unfurled scroll on it in front of it and five windows behind it showing an ocean outside of it and red curtains above it.
In front of the wallpaper, and actually in the room with you, was the right-side platform. On it, along with Cptn. Foxy and his feet-hiding crate, was a large treasure chest, a cutlass which you thought was a prop, a swivel chair, a table with a globe and what you think is a small treasure chest, another swivel chair, and a couple of sandbags.
"Aim to get a high score or I'll give ye the ol cactus keel haul!"
Behind you was the back wall with a wall-mounted candle, a black flag with a skull and crossbones, another set of double doors just like the ones in front of you, and a pole standing on the left side platform with some kind of sign hanging from it with it's back facing you.
To your left was the left wall which had wallpaper depicting a wall-hanging tapestry and two shelves full of books and other items like a candle holder, scrolls, a crown, and a globe.
On the platform to the left were a couple of chairs, another large treasure chest, a desk, and more sandbags.
"Have a rootin' tootin' time, Yee Harr!!"
Inside your little log seat in front of you, was what must've been the hand canon inside holster in the middle of two scoreboards. With that, you've seen just about everything that was in this area and felt that you were ready for the ride as pulled out your hand canon.
Suddenly with the sound of moving water, you felt a brief sense of inertia as your seat started to move forward as the double doors in front of you opened to welcome you into a dark cave with a hanging lamp.
"Keep yer hands and feet inside the ride at all times, or ye end up like me!"
Before you fully entered the cave, you looked behind to look at Foxy. You immediately notice, that he's looking back at you, and more importantly, his feet do not, in fact, look like it's bolted to the floor. At all.
As he disappeared from your view the further you went into the darkness of the cave, you didn't feel as safe as you once were.

All right, I'm giving you guys a heads up as I'm not going to jot down every single detail of everything that happens in this minigame. Frankly, it will absolutely kill the pacing with me having to describe the varied locations in it which in itself will bump the word count into splitting post territory. So to save time, I'm only going to write anything of lore interest.
Nevermind! I just got done watching six people play this one level and my goodness, The level is huge, has lore references, and also has many diverging paths. Unfortunately for me, the paths themselves are a huge lore hint that wouldn't make sense to you dear reader unless I write it down. So, here's the plan, I'm going to streamline it because there's not much interest in the details of the locations themselves.
Oh, and apparently you can see the doors to the alternate paths in transitional darkness between locations in this minigame. But once again, it's way too dark for me to make out anything in the videos.

After exiting the cave of darkness, you were now in an area that looked like the deck of a ship. In the brief time that you were there, you shot all nine targets and were onto the next area which was a more western theme location with a building up ahead called Brightstone.
(If you listen closely when near the Brightstone zone, you hear either a rendition of or the actual Help Wanted Dreadbear Main Hub theme. Good thing I did a brief look into that game earlier or I wouldn't made that connection to it. This confirms something for me, but I'll wait till after we beat this minigame to mention it.)
You shot most of the targets there but missed quite a few when you moved on to the next location, which was a small tunnel that had a sun on the left side of an half circular board between two clouds on either side of it. There were no targets to shoot at and you passed this place by rather quickly.
The next location was themed after a western train station during the day. You shot at the targets you could and managed to nail them all in the surprisingly short area before you were onto the next. Which happens to be the theme after a robbery inside the train.
The place surprisingly had some dirt or rumble under some of the train seats, though you weren't sure if it was because of a robbery underway or the general state of the ride. But while you were shooting at the targets in this area, you spotted some curious items on the seats before you went to the next area. Three candle lanterns, two gardening hats, and two potted flowers...

Audible sigh. You know, when I said the Vanny/Vanessa stuff could wait until later, I meant in a different future part! Don't get me wrong, this is an exciting discovery! But this part is going to be absolutely stuffed to talk about, so I might just have to split it.
Hello there! This is future Bonjonsie! I've come to the decision to split this up in the end. I mean, this would've been out yesterday if I had decided to split it here, but somehow despite how many times I've done this, I managed to convince myself that I could fit everything into one post and finish it before the weekend.
Oh, doing a brief deep-dive into Help Wanted and its DLC won't take long because I'm probably overthinking about the mask. Oh, there's nothing important in Foxy Log Ride besides its alternate route, I'll be done with it faster than you can say Freddy Fazbear! Oh, I can probably complete the next minigame along with Foxy Log Ride!
But oh joy, is this part turning out to be the densest part I've posted ever. Not in times of lengthiness as Ruin's Bonnie Bowl is still crown king in that regard (though this might compete for the crown because I haven't finished Foxy's Log Ride), but in terms of new discoveries! Seriously, I thought two discoveries were the record and upper limit in terms of what can be found in a part(I group the parts along with their .5, etc.) But this part has doubled that record.
It only goes to show that the real treasure was just more treasures.

Long story short..... At 12 I moved for 2 years to another country (same language).... Went to high-school, met a girl, loved her and we had a childish love relationship..... After the 2 years I moved back to my home country and from fall 2021 I re-moved to her country for uni.... We had been together for 5 years (first year was long distance).... Anyway we have been through a lot, but i love her with all my heart..... This year we had some major fights over silly issues, but she never really understood her mistakes.... Here comes February... She initiated a fight over something simple I said (truly simple) and she told me to leave her alone etc..... She fully regretted it, bc she tried making contact, until eventually I surprised her and showed up to her door (she was excited but she never really said sorry).... After that, we where hanging out alright but again some stuff happened and she looked into my oc when I wasn't home, she saw smthing that she completely misunderstood and hell broke loose..... After that I wasn't really emotional and I told her that we should break up and not break each other's heart.... Ahe started crying, asked for a second try in the relationship, etc, I agreed.... A month and a half into that, I want really emotional, although she was coming to my home, I was going t hers etc..... And now easter came..... I went back to my home country, and one yuesday night she called really late, I overreacted a bit cause the phone ring got my parentss awaawake, etc she started to cry, I i told her to calm down etc and that she was pressuring me these last weeks.... After that she completely ghosted me, ignored my calls and everything.... A week later I asked her with a story reply, why she wasn't talking to me and she answered that she took a decision and she wanted to breakup..... Again ghosting after that.... Few days later I get a text from her mother telling me not to contact anyone again, that it's over for us and to bring her stuff back (which I did when I went back....) I went to her family house and she wasn't there.... Her father and mother where, I tried to talk with them in order to understand what went so horribly wrong but the mother was very aggressive and she said many mean things and some things that she wasn't supposed to know..... Once I left the stuff I sent her an sms saying what I did (leaving the stuff) and that if she ever wanted to talk, she could call me..... No contact still...... Saturday night I learn the news that she is in a relationship with a family friend's son which I had met at some point but I never liked the dude..... Im going through emotional hell because I turned my life around for her and now she left like nothing..... 2 things to know. 1) her parents (divorced but live together) have many fights weekly and the mother always tells her and her little sister anything, screaming most of the time against her dad (so the parents have a very bad relationship but they think they are boney and Clyde) 2) she has no close friends except a really nice guy that they don't talk a lot, that family friend/new boyfriend?, and a girl from uni but she dosent tell her a lot.... I know what I wrote is not really clear and I left a lot of things behind but wtf??? She just dropped out when I was having a struggle for something she did, acts childish and dosent talk, instead her family steps in and now she's having fun?????? I know I'm propably lucky but does anyone have a psychological evaluation about all this????? I feel like I never knew her

17-Cube Escape: The Cave
Hot take but this one was probably the most annoying one of them all. The reason it's so low on the list is cuz even with answers it's still above one's head(or I'm just dumb). It glitched almost every time I played it(which is probably not the game's fault) causing me start over from the beginning. It would have been much higher up the list if it weren't so frustrating to play. First part of the game is great tho. Overall 7.2/10 Difficulty level:9.3/10
16-Cube Escape: Harvey's Box
This game was their unique yet the most basic one. It was good but nothing mind boggling. One of their harder games. I also don't see how this game relates to the lore of rusty lake. So random, yet pulls you in. Overall 7.3/10 Difficulty level 8.8/10
15-Cube Escape: The Mill
Don't got much to say about this one. It's a good game and the story itself isn't there best ones, in my opinion. Short and sweet(if you're fast enough.) Still don't understand what the mill does. Overall 7.5/10 Difficulty level 7/10
14-Cube Escape: The Lake
This is their shortest game yet. You don't realize how short most of these games are when you don't know the answers. Anyway this one's quite good. Overall 7.6/10 Difficulty level 6/10
13-Cube Escape: Arles
This was probably the most easiest one of em all and I'm proud to say I didn't use a single hint. The story is basic compared to some others but it's still great nonetheless. Van Gogh's paintings have been wildy used in this series and I still don't get the significance of them. Overall 7.7/10 Difficulty level 2/10
12-Rusty Lake Paradise
This took me quite some time to complete and I guess it was pretty worth it. It got me a little clueless at first since this game wasn't really much connected to the other games. The voice acting in this one is great. Adding 10 plagues was a nice touch. If I'm being honest, the main character didn't deserve what all he went through. Overall 8/10 Difficulty level 8.2/10
11-Cube Escape: Case 23
This game lives up to it's description. Investigation of a mysterious death? Count me in! The logic behind some of the answers don't make any sense, but hey! this is Rusty Lake we're talkin' about. Adding 4 parts makes it feel like I'm playing 4 different games, which isn't much of complaint especially since the fact that all Rusty Lake games are connected. The last chapter was the hardest of them all and I still go no clue how I completed it(a walkthrough helped.) Overall 8.2/10 Difficulty level 8.5/10
10-Rusty Lake Hotel
Thisame was just complete randomness. Probably the most random one of them all. I guess this game is consists of the characters from Rusty Lake Paradise as animals but I could be wrong. It was also the most traumatizing one for me(if you know you know)Still good tho. Overall 8.3/10 Difficulty level 8.3/10
9-Cube Escape: Seasons
Halfway this game is really easy and then the rest half of the game just stumped me. It really puts of sense of understanding of who the characters are in the game for me . The recurring parrot, blue dressed woman and the iconic wallpaper that I see in the later games. Overall 8.4/10 Difficulty level 8.1/10
8-Rusty Lake Roots
This one took me the longest to finish and I don't regret it one bit. In my opinion, this game was the saddest one of em all and when I found out Frank had been in the well for all that time, I genuinely shed a tear...Anyway one thing I don't get is the significance of the pocket watch. Where did it even come from in the first place? What made it so special? Overall 8.5/10 Difficulty level 7.8/10
7-The Past Within
Genuinely one of the coolest concepts of this game series. They should do this more often. But the fact is I played this alone cuz all my friends are either too dumb(sorry) or they aren't interested(your loss) I guess it could've been way more fun if I did play it with someone but it was still pretty entertaining. I like how both the past and future have completely different graphics. Overall 8.7/10 Difficulty level 8.5/10
6-Samsara room
For a fact everyone's talking about how good the games but the music(most of the time)goes unnoticed. One of the best soundtracks of the series belong to this game. The game itself is kinda mesmerizing and you are pulled into it's world. Usually I'm not philosophical but this game forces me to be. Overall 8.9/10 Difficulty level 7.9/10
5-Cube Escape: Theatre
I like how this game is connected to The White Door which is think is a cool Easter egg. This one was good due to the fact that it was really creative. The puzzles especially kept me hooked. The fact that I didn't even realize it's actually quite short. How can something be this short and good? I also like how they focus a bit more on Robert this time. He in an underrated character. Overall 9/10 Difficulty level 8.2/10
4-Underground Blossom
One of the best atmospheres of any Rusty Lake game in my opinion. I especially liked how we finally get to know more about Laura's past since every other game was focused on her death. Is the black figure in the game supposed to be herself? I never really understood why it was there. Also now that I think about it, no way the vanderboom generation ended in Laura. Alternate ending head cannon: Laura and Robert actually get married and their son/daughter(in the future) go find Dale to get the answers to his past. Could be good. Maybe... Overall 9.4/10 Difficulty level 8/10
3-Cube Escape: Birthday
This is kind of a bias as this was the first ever Rusty lake game I've played. We finally get to see Dale's past for once. They should've atleast mentioned the Grandpa in the later games cuz he is a goated character. Also why does the rabbit piss me off so much. I genuinely do not like him. I didn't like him in Paradise as well(if ykyk) It is still an amazing game and the only annoyance was cutting the cake. Overall 9.6/10 Difficulty level 8/10
2- Cube Escape: Paradox
The most creative one yet. I love how they decided to add the movie versions of the characters aswell in the game. It's funny cuz in the short film the characters in the TV are in their cartoony game form. Cool detail, not gonna lie. The only annoyance was the globe and mind puzzle which genuinely killed me inside. But the rest of the game is so good that I forgot about this. Chapter 2 is equally as good imo, maybe even better. I also like how in Chapter 1 they show you all the people who have worked and on the game. The movie also is kind of a walkthrough and there are some hidden details which took way too long for me to find out. Overall 9.8.10 Difficulty level 9/10
1-The White Door
Ik this is a hot take aswell but this game changed me. I never in my life was hooked till start to end in a game before. I especially like how it focuses entirely on Robert this time. I can genuinely see they put alot of effort into the making of this game and it's so fresh to see a completely different format than what they usually do. It's the perfect amount of difficult and it's not insanely hard aswell. It is so good. I still wish their relationship didn't just end like that. Such a great game this one. It definitely has a special place in my heart. Nearly perfect. Overall 9.9/10 Difficulty level 8.1/10

Hey, guys!
Apologies if this is a low effort post or has been answered (I couldn't find one). But does anybody know the significance of this number? Could it be an Easter Egg?
I'm replaying the Metro games, starting with Redux. I'm about to start "Contagion" on Last Light. I've seen that on almost all of Artyom's weapons, this number is etched on to them. The "1" could be a slash, however.
Is it some kind of serial number? If so, it can't be specific to Artyom, as the number appears in 2033, before he becomes a Ranger (I don't recall if it's on the weapons in Exodus). Though due to the scarce resources in the Metro, with everything including weapons being reused and recycled again and again, it would make a little sense for weapons to be numbered. If only for inventory sakes (like hell anybody's doing a ballistics test in a post nuclear hellhole!). Having a different, random graphic on each weapon would be a major and unnecessary pain in the ass for the devs.
Could it be something of specific/important significance to Artyom? A date, perhaps? Judgment Day was summer of 2012 (I think?) and the day in the botanical gardens with his mother is one of his earliest and most important memories. There's obviously too many numbers, but it could be the 15th of July 2012... With a random 5.
I guess it adds depth to the general darkness/immersive world, and could just be that?

(Oh! This really is a dumb question, but I ditched my RPK for a Kalash 2012 and regret it. Are there more vendors in the game from this point on? The merchant in Church base had a Saiga & 2012, which seem like end game weapons. I could probably loot one, I know, but I want to mod it to suit me!)

So, I finished KEY - I played it twice to get all of the achievements. It was alright, it wasn't bad. I've accepted that ND games will never be the same after SEA.
My main issues were that everything was just flat. I remember how beautiful and intricate the graphics used to be in older games (even in the classic ones) and this one felt so - meh.
There were rooms and rooms where you couldn't click on ANYTHING to explore. Characters were really disinteresting. Even the cute callbacks felt like they were just Nancy Drew easter eggs in a completely different game that isn't Nancy Drew anymore.
Some of the puzzles were good - but some, I had NO IDEA where to start, with no verbal cues, and had to rely on the hints way too much.
The new VO actress is fine in tone and warmth, but I've done VO before, and I really think that the issue with her is that she says all of her words painstakingly too slow. It doesn't sound natural, because a real person doesn't speak like that. Natural speech speeds things up at times, and has varying inflections and pauses, run-ons. She says every. single. word. at. exactly. the. same. speed. I listened to every delivery after I realized that's what makes her sound so robotic, and except for maybe a handful of takes she did where she sped up her delivery for a short line, she says EVERY line with almost a pause between each word. It was excruciating and really a shame, because she has a nice voice.
Anyway, I miss Lani and think I will go back to playing the old games. I don't care if she "sounds old". She IS Nancy Drew. I've played every game multiple times - some of them, too many times to count. I think after trying this last one out for curiosity's sake after the one that shall not be named (I honestly blacked that one out) I will be spending my money elsewhere.
Rant over, my question is - does anyone have any great game recommendations along the lines of the games pre-Unity takeover?
I've played This Bed We Made (loved it) and went through the Life is Strange Series (also loved it).
Does anyone have suggestions on some great mystery/point and click/supernatural/adventure/explore games?

Play mines to earn SC. Buy Managers to automate play. Learn that the managers are highly inefficient and they possess only one type of Power either reduce cost, run faster, load faster, transport faster, etc. Senior managers reduce better. You watch ads to get more SC or reduce barrier time.
Unlock mineshafts with the SC. Open Barriers as you earn more SC. Open next mine once you have earned enough SC in the current mine. Jump continents when you have enough SC. Each mine has more SC requirements but the same play with different graphics. Over a point of time you stop noticing graphics.
I am wondering what kept me going on. Was it to discove that the other continents had something different.
First time Mainland seemed useless till you found the first SM. Then the SM lure of completing the task faster than the managers was understood. Then it became opening all continents and hopefully finishing the game.
But they kept you busy with an ever increasing list of SMs and adding continents to the Impossible world with keys every five days.
How can one forget the boosts which you get through daily freebies or purchase with SC or real money. Then the chests and the cards. Then the research and points. Then the SM addons with essences and other articles. Special continents that give artifacts. Prestiging to make it faster to earn more SC with costs going up to open each level and upgrade. I thought it becomes cheaper as you build businesses from the initial part. But here the same business with the same graphics only more SC is too expensive. Maybe the game creators have only looked at their earnings and not studied real businesses.
Then there is FM and Event mines. Unachievable Asterion Maze unless you spend real money. Now a Chrono Mine which is timed. I agree with others that this was supposed to be an idle and no stress game.
To earn more SC, go to FM/Event or increase your SC from upgrades. But FM without SM takes long time or unachievable so you try to think how to get more SM and the limitations of sparks. Buy them with the Frontier cash or pay real money.
So it's a vicious loop between all continents. Their other games are cut and paste of the methodology with different graphics.
Time for the Idle team to think differently beyond making us buy/earn SC. Remodel the game so that others can reach the destination & look at a path to their other games.
It is an irony that we have spent so many hours, days, or years playing this game to see the lifts, SM, warehouse carts, miners transporting their dogs, etc. which don't seem to make sense.
Automation has come to real mines where the miners don't carry their produce manually and use conveyor belts to transport these. Even Warehousing is done differently.
I would suggest improve the tech as each Prestige happens to add more automation in each mine.

Warning, long post ahead.
I'm a huge AC fan ever since day 1 of the franchise. I remember as a 10 year old watching the trailers over and over and getting so hyped over this mysterious hooded guy jumping and climbing from building to building, killing the enemy in awesome acrobatic moves and the graphics have been unlike anything I've seen back then. And it was the same for pretty much every sequel it got during my childhood. This franchise quickly cemented itself as my favourite gaming experience.
Ezio's trilogy, to this day, still holds a special place in my heart. You witnessed his birth, saw him grow up, and then BOOM. TRAGEDY. He gets thrown against his will into a live he didn't choose to live. Yet, he embraced it. You witness him become harder, better, faster, stronger (hah...). You witness him getting his revenge, then him becoming wiser, then becoming the leader of the brotherhood, and ultimately him growing old and die. Many touching moments, that also kind of shaped me into the man i am today.
Now why am i typing all this?
Well, after the latest shitstorm the newest AC entry caused, i realized something. Im not even looking forward to that game. And its been so since Odyssey.
It's not like im against Yasuke and Naoe or the "Woke" writing. I dont mind playing the game as a "Black" samurai as long as the gameplay is fine and the Character is well written. I bought and finished every game so far (aside from chronicle, as im not into platformers) and it didnt bother me when I played as woman for the first time (liberation), a black man (freedom cry), a templar (rogue) or when i played a pirate in an assassins game. The characters were well done, and I enjoyed them.
What I realized is, that the games lost their identity. Lets take valhalla for example. The game could've been just called "Vallhalla" without the "Assassin's creed:" in the front and no one would've even realised thats its about Assassin's creed. Everyone would just probably say: "heh, this game has funny AC easter eggs", or "hidden blade go brrr....".
Ever since Origins i felt a declining interest in the franchise, but it always took me back because of the interesting locations and mythologies they chose. My favorite historical eras and mythologies are: The age of the vikings, Ancient rome, ancient greece and the sengoku jidai in that order, so naturally they kinda always caught me back. But not this time.
Its not like the games have been bad... they have just been so criminally average with too much filler. I mean, yeah. The scenery and atmosphere tends to be breathtaking, but that's where it all stops. The worlds now are big, but ultimately empty. They filled them with meaningless stuff to look for so that you get a feeling of accomplishment, but it stays meaningless. You can look for premium currency and farm it with with certain quests, but you'd have to do it extensively for several days to be able to buy one roll at the premium store, and not even that is a garanteed win to get what you really want. The premium store has become very aggresive aswell (pay 20€ to look like a berserker... In an RPG game about vikings...). Combat is monotone and boring, previous entries had more dimensions to it. You could unarm the enemy, throw him, counter him, assault him, use tools against him, throw smoke bombs to disengage, melee and ranged combat. You could use the human shield move against ranged attackers and finish several enemies at once. Plus, all of this in some kind of signature acrobatic, and brutal AC style. The present time has become meaningless aswell. I just couldnt care enough for the scraps we got with Layla. The graphics have continuously been downgraded ever since unity. Ezios facial animations are miles better than the ones from basim, and the games have 14 years between them. The story hasnt been the focus for these games either. Yeah they had their moments, but out of the last 4 games, Bayek was the only character with an meaningful arc and story. Stealth is pointless aswell. You have no stealth tools anymore. Your stealth attacks only take a bigger chunk out of the HP bar away, unless you turn on the one-shot stealth option (which in turn makes the complete stealth skill tree obsolete). And suddenly your characters know magic without the help of eden shards. All the quests you do feel weird. You are just the personal lapdog of every single living (or not living) thing in this world. No choices really matter that much. And the quest feel more like the typical MMO fetch quests you have. You would expect assassinations in an assassins game, but instead you're looking for some herbs in a field or hunting game in the woods. I get that they have become RPG games, and that this is RPG norm, but it still reinforces my statement that this franchise has an identity crisis.
Of course i realize that when games are this huge, that you can't focus too much on the details. But I'd rather have a game scalled down but given more depth then this surface level lazy excuse of providing content.
Also, to make matters worse, not only are you getting microtransactions... they make you pay the game a ridiculous amount. Starting from 70€ to up to 130€
WHAT THE HELL?! WHAT HAPPEND?!
The game nowadays only concentrates on giving you an mythological and historical expirience. Thats it. They always took some historical alterations to fit the story more into the historical aspect which is why im not offended by the "black samurai" thing. What is making me frustrated is that the franchise isnt going anywhere. I mean, Assassin's and templars are not even in the picture anymore. They are called the "order of the ancients" and the "hidden ones".
As i already said. Ubisoft always managed to make me come back like an abused dog and spend time and money on their AC games. Perhaps they'll manage this time again, but it's sad to see what has become of a once so great franchise.
TL;DR - Assassin's creed shadows will probably be a reskin of mirage, which is a reskin of Valhalla, which is a reskin of odyssey, which is a reskin of origins. The games have a sever identity crisis, and Me, as an Fan... I am not looking forward to what the future holds with them.

I joined this reddit group launch day, we have grown 80% in size you beautiful sloths and it's amazing to see it grow daily. We are smashing charts on all DEXs and growing CEX listings. We have a strong community on numerous socials and plenty of smarter members then me explaining charts and tokenomics, listen to them and stop fkn panicking everytime we drop a cent..
On launch eveyone was freaking out over not getting their coins in the first 20mins. I sat here posting "do not give your keys out to fake support pages" "follow solscan" "stop panicking" I doubt it helped, people are inclined to do whatever they will when they are panicking and such is the mainstream marketing campaign and minimal support of SLOTH so far. alot of begginers came over and freaked out over nothing or got rekt sending keys and making silly plays.
Ive been around a while and launched my own very very shit coins and I can tell you from Slothana's raise of 15-20mil presale it was always gonna take time to drop all those coins and their marketing budget alone was in the Mills. fkn wild af and proved it wasnt a scam to me instantly, the KYC to set up those ads made it way too balsey for them to rug and face penalties or online witch hunts from smarter coders then them. You couldn't go on any dex listing page without seeing a $SLOTH banner and once you looked at the basic ass website your google ads were flooded for the entirety of Easter.
All the 420 memes aside.. This is a fkn meme.. Of a Sloth.. With AI graphics.. Stoned and pushing to $4.20..
That's all it is.. I still think it's better then a dog with a fkn hat and the other thousand cat, shiba and frog variants.
If you want to gamble, cant play poker, want instant gratification in crypto and cant hold a coin for a month let alone a year. Fkn learn to bot, add another zero to your bag, trojan some whales and see where you end up. alot of massive whales are front-running $SLOTH right now. So you will end up where you started.

2024.05.21 04:03 Marvelous_Pebble I NEED more games like Risk of Rain 2

My best gaming buddy got us both Risk of Rain 2 as an Easter present. We didn't start playing it until around a week ago due to some work related stuff.
Now, I really don't know how to explain this but Risk of Rain 2 was like an introduction to a completely new dimension of gaming. I loved every single thing about it from the start, the combat felt great, the graphics were beautiful for my taste, and the most important thing was that the game had that depth, unlike many rogulites I tried before. Every run was just so fun and felt meaningful, and the more we progressed, the game got better... I feel like it could be in the top 3 games I've ever played.
Since we did nolife it and completed more or less everything there is to be done (enough to satisfy the 2 of us, we're not really minmaxers), I've had that constant desire to find more games like this one. I just can't stop thinking about all the good times I had in RoR2 and I wanna ride that hype while it's still here because it rarely happens to me. I did some research on Reddit and found 2 games that look really interesting, so if you played them, help me with a genuine review of if they're worth diving into, or recommend other titles that you know (please try to recommend 3rd person games if possible, I really love that style of gameplay).
Arcane Blast I saw a post about the demo being released a couple of days ago and gave it a shot. The gameplay is very similar to RoR2, with the addition of spells. IMO it's fun because the spells add another layer to the combat and it's really to combine them. There's a lot of action similarly to RoR2, and very importantly, it's played from the 3rd person perspective. I like it a lot, but haven't put too many hours into the game yet to feel like my judgment is objective enough.
Gunfire Reborn Haven't played it, but I've been eyeing it since Saturday. Looks like a game in which RoR2 meets Deep Rock Galactic, 2 games I really like. I'm very close to buying it, but would like to hear other people's perspectives before I do that. The only objection I have right now is that it's played from the 1st person perspective, but I could see how it could add to the fun.
I'd really appreciate any help because I'm desperate for more games like RoR2 :D
