JUST to be able to even say “Yeah, I can relate. I know what that’s like.” Cigarettes smokers are honestly like their own special clique. Their own social club. ONLY THEY can relate to each other. ONLY THEY can bond together like that. All huddled around together, smoking, talking and just generally having a good time. If you’re a non smoker who’s in a group where everyone but you is smoking, you can’t help but feel left out. Like you’re missing out on that special bonding part of smoking, even if you’re literally standing right next to them. And I’m almost certain that smokers look at their non-smoking friends who are with them and think “I wish my non smoking friend smoked so they could bond with the rest of us through cigarettes.” Like, I’m almost certain smokers feel that way. I would feel bad about not smoking if I was in a group of smokers. I’m sure they would secretly wish that I smoked too even if they didn’t tell me that. And you could say “Well, just vape” but honestly, vaping just doesn’t fit that “smoker vibe”. If you’re in a group where everyone is smoking cigarettes, sharing lighters and lighting each other’s cigs and you’re just standing there awkwardly puffing away on your electronic awkward looking vape, wouldn’t the smokers really think you’re just ruining their vibe instead of fitting in with them and bonding with them? Even though you’re doing almost the same thing they are, inhaling and exhaling something to get a good feeling out of it? Most cigarette smokers see vaping as childish, cringe, or just not as a cool as actually smoking. I’m literally 25 and never smoked, but lord sometimes I really do consider it just to experience the “good” parts about smoking. Rational and logical me knows it’s just the addiction on the smokers end when they romanticize smoking, but the other part of me is like “but I feel like I’m really missing out and I feel left out because I can’t relate to them.” And also, if you have friends who smoke, you know they cigarette smokers constantly need to step away somewhere to smoke? It would get old if you don’t smoke and you’re constantly being left behind by your smoker friends just because you don’t smoke. You would feel so shitty about it. I mean, at that point, are you REALLY, TRULY spending quality time together or is the majority of your time “together” just them constantly needing to step away to smoke and not actually being too involved in whatever you’re doing? Whether you’re out shopping together, watching a movie, playing games, eating out somewhere, literally anything. So like, why not just simply start smoking and join them, you know? Then it would actually be quality time together because you’re not constantly getting left behind by them while they all go smoke with their other smoking buddies, who they probably like more than you anyway because they smoke and you don’t. I can't find next to any info about this variant of the C3 Pro online aside from one Amazon review of it that claims that it does in fact have RGB and hotswap. Cannabis has now been – at least partially – legal in Germany for a good five weeks. Will there soon be THC drinks in this country? Will Germans then drink less alcohol? And where can the substances actually be consumed? While the answers to this will probably take a while to come, many, including those in the beverage industry, are looking with excitement to Canada, where marijuana has been legal since 2018.
The approval there quickly led to the introduction of a wealth of new mixed drinks. The beverage manufacturer Truss Beverages from the province of Ontario brought non-alcoholic drinks enriched with THC and CBD in a wide variety of, mostly fruity, flavors and different, precisely defined potencies onto the market under the brand names XMG, Little Victory, Mollo and Bedfellows. Truss is a joint venture between brewing company Molson Coors and cannabis company Hexo.

"I had no expectation of being crowned." Princess Kyōko looked towards the crowd of Alfr nobility which had amassed itself in the great hall of the Midnight Court. Excluding the Princess, who stood just in front of the Night King's Throne, the nobility made up of nearly all conquered people remained quiet as the Princess continued to speak - the shock of recent events emanating throughout the room. "And yet death of my uncle...has come as a shock."
The court was somber, the lights dim - only a few skylights pointed towards the Princess whose Golden crown had only just been placed on her head by the same woman who had coronated her Uncle all those years ago. The flags which had once flown as a symbol of the Aesir, now remained furled, awaiting to be revealed as the once Japanese Princess, continued to speak.
"In the years since my Uncle's coronation, our Aesir, has led you all to the well of prosperity, happiness, and security. Under his auspices rule, under the Night King's watchful gaze, you people...you all...have been so very lucky. So very lucky to have survived this long." Gasps from the crowd where audible as members of the Valkyrie of the 1st Sturmtruppen marched into the Great Hall, those members of the Elite Imperial Guard whose loyalty lay only with the Aesir. "Under the former Aesir, you have been...blinded by a shroud of darkness from true enlightenment. The failures of this Imperial Might, whose forces once so easily marched West across France and conquered Western Europe, come from your blind faith in my Uncle. You have been bested in a Gothic War which saw the needless deaths of so many of the Aesir's Chosen. And yet you cry out for more conflict?"
The new Aesir could see the daggers as she looked out at the crowd, as her words struck the very heart of the Alfheim's Imperial Center. From the corner of her eye, she could barely make out one figure leaving the Hall, shooting an icy yet aware glance towards the Throne, however, now was no time to stop, she had a mission here.
"At every step, your former ruler...has ensured that the entire weight of the world would come crashing down on his Empire. Even now, you face a rebellion in Italy, and the possibility of war in the outer colonies of Svartálfar and Mexico. And if not for the idleness of the great Goliath of Eastern Europe your very homeland would have most assuredly been lost by now."
By now, only the Æsir's Chosen had remained without reaction. The nobility long in uproar, confusion, and fear as the former second-rate Princess from Japan gave lecture on the future of the Empire.
"You all...I...have never seen throughout history, an Empire so reviled that even my own Father's machinations have gone unheeded by the world." The newly crowned Aesir cared little for choosing her words, knowing that ultimately, they'd have to all bend the knee either way. "Your world has failed, and I am here to save you."
The murmuring of the crowd would have become overwhelming if it was not for the clerics who raised and slammed the ends of their banners on the ground, unfurling the new flag of the Imperial Álfheimr while sending the crowds into a fervor of chanting.

Now following the death of the former Aesir of Alfheim who himself was a scourge on the continent of Africa, Japan has only further pushed the boundaries of its Imperial borders, using the second born Princess Kyōko as a way of wrestling control over the once antagonistic German Empire. Armstrong's face broke into a wicked smile; violence, rage, and hatred spewing from his eyes. "Well your in luck, kid. PARIS - As the Black Fleet lay smoldering at the bottom of the Atlantic, the Global Interoperable Guarantee for Allied Support has announced the end of the Álfheimr Civil War which had started in the late Spring of 2072. While the ACW had begun largely due to factional disputes on an internal level within Imperial Álfheimr government following the coronation of the new Æsir, too most experts, it didn't officially begin until the secession of what is now informally known as the "Republic of New Álfheimr". The New Republic which exists in an unrecognized status (by Imperial Japan, the INC, and GIGAS at large), is now formally made up of the "Imperial Dominion of Amerika" which was the former Third American Republic before its conquest by the late Greater Aryan Empire (GAE). The secession of America was allegedly brought about by an alliance between certain Dederick Lohengrin loyalists including Kyrr von Lohengrin, alongside Steven Armstrong the titular "Governor" of the American colony. While the Civil War had originally been fought solely between the Imperial Álfheimr under the recently crowned Æsir Kyōko and Kyrr's New Republic, the follow-up secession of Danubia from the Imperial Álfheimr quickly brought new levels of severity - forcing GIGAS's hand and involvement.
The secession of Danubia under the command of Ferdinand Habsburg, as advised by Gloria von Habsburg led to the creation of "The Grand Imperium of Europa", a new so-called Empire claiming to be the true successors of the Greater Aryan Empire. To even greater surprise however, it would appear that the Danubian secession was supported by the O-5 Council and broader Æsir Chosen including "The Advisor, Commander, and Mother" among others. This was a major blow to Æsir Kyōko's legitimacy, and additionally led to a significant loss of human manpower within the Imperial Álfheimr which coupled with the creation of Kyrr's Republic - undoubtedly forced Álfheimr's call for aide.
These events ultimately led to a "forced peace" between the Imperial Álfheimr which is ostensibly still "independent" from the Empire of Japan, the Republic of New Álfheimr, and Grand Imperium of Europa by GIGAS through the destruction of the feuding Black Fleet in the Atlantic operated by the Republic of New Álfheimr. At the same time however, efforts by the Bandung Pact and Eastern Union to capitalize on these events have largely fallen flat - as crises in Israel, Kaabu, and even Eastern Siberia have led to a new level of unprecedented global tension. Nevertheless, while a tacit "white peace" currently exists between the three "Álfheimr successor states", none are certain that such a peace will hold even under GIGAS oversight.

However due to the ACW, it will likely take 1-2 years to rebuild the ability to produce more.

They are the strongest military of the three main successors, and similarly have a strong geopolitical starting position, alongside a network of secret diplomatic alliances.
The RNA is in a unique position to quickly assert itself as an independent state, having inherited the same technology base as the Grand Imperium - but in greater existing asset quantities. The RNA also has a large portion of the former GAE's "android" soldiers - making for a lethal and incredibly loyal army right out of the gates.

I have been looking for 8mm filters that are not made from plastic. I have found a few 6mm natural fibre filters, and I cannot understand why not in 8mm. Is 8mm for tobacco/cigarettes irregular?
I tried the 8mm RAW cotton filters, and experienced zero draw. I tried unpacking the densely packed filter, hastily got annoyed and regretfully threw the whole bag out thinking “how could they sell a product that does not work?”
I tried to get Arango organic filters, but the one site that carries them does not deliver outside the US, and the other site is a wholesaler. I am in Canada.
I tried to order from Mr Tipps for their bamboo corn filter. This product looks pretty cool. But there is a website error that prevents me from completing the order while checking out. And they are unresponsive to emails.
In the meantime I have been stuffing bits of cotton in pre rolled tips. But this is pretty tedious. Am I S.O.L.? I moved to RYO for a cleaner smoke. Tobacco, paper, filter. And there does not seem to be a market for filters made from a non plastic material. Cotton, paper, corn, etc.
I would genuinely like to understand why not? I am blue collar, and it seems like most smokers around me are only interested in the cheapest smoke they can get and don’t care what is in it or what it is made from or even how bad the smoke is. I would think smoking through a plastic filter would be undesirable.
I would move to just pre rolled paper tips, but I get tongue bite when smoking without filters, and loose tobacco falls out. Perhaps I could dry the tobacco a bit more, and try a slower draw more like cigar smoking. I don’t know.

Hello, I am looking to hire a new PCA to help me in my home. I receive services through CDPAP and use Maxim as my fiscal intermediary. I currently have 10 hours a week available for the right candidate. The case is in Ronkonkoma with flexible hours, just no early mornings. This would be a great fit for a university student looking for a job around classes, or someone looking to work around another job or their kids' school schedule. Pay is $20.22 an hour.
I have Ehlers Danlos and Yao Syndrome, with MCAS and POTS. Please research these medical conditions before applying. The type of care my population needs is different than many cases so I want to make sure people working with me understand the nature of these conditions. I am socially independent, and still physically independent and capable in many ways but my case has severely affected my spine neurologically and structurally. This limits my bending, lifting, and balance, and causes me pain.
My MCAS is my other huge struggle. I have SEVERE, sometimes anaphylactic allergies. I am on two immune suppressing drugs to control this but I still have to carry epi pens. My major allergens, diagnosed through patch testing, are Isothiazolinones, Benzisothiazolinone (BIT) and Methylisothiazolinone (MIT, MI) being the worst, fragrance, and tobacco smoke/residue. These allergies, especially the BIT and MIT, are AIRBORNE, not contact. And unfortunately the Isothiazolinones are in many laundry detergents, fabric softeners, floor cleaners, etc. Even some, but not all “green”, “unscented”, “free and clear” etc. ones.
My best fit for someone to work with me would actually be someone who has similar allergies and is looking for a safe working environment, or is already using laundry products not containing these preservatives for other reasons. You can look up your products at SkinSAFE or Yuka. I also need a non-smoker. I don’t care about vaping, but analogue cigarette residue makes me very sick. Additionally, because of the 2 immune suppressing drugs, it needs to be understood that I need to take precautions to not pick up infections, similar to a cancer patient, so good hand washing and sometimes glove wearing is important.
Other than that, the case is pretty straightforward and does not involve personal care. It’s mostly help with housework, like laundry, changing sheets, floors, unloading my dishwasher, etc. My house is not big and I don’t expect a deep cleaning service, but these are essential job functions. Also helping me on errands, some light help with food prep (you don’t need to cook), and sometimes coming to doctors appointments with me. Experience with LGBTQIA+ clients is a bonus but not required.

Today is my 16th day I switched to nicotine free electronic cigarettes cold turkey from smoking tobacco 30 a day for 25+ years. First week was tough, but I now know my cravings are getting much less and less frequent and more manageable. Thank god there is a nicotine free vaping alternative.
I have been waiting for my lungs to cough up all the tar and other nasty stuff. But so far, no coughs, no nothing. Should I be worried, or should I feel good that my lungs were somehow keeping themselves clear?

Was addicted to nicotine for roughly ten years from ages 18-28. Started by adding tobacco to my joints in college, then smoking cigarettes when I was drunk, then smoking tobacco all day everyday, and then ultimately vaping all day everyday. I quit cold turkey but relapsed and bought a pack of cigs around the 2 week mark, smoked those for 2 days, and then quit again. That time stuck. Happy to report cravings are pretty much nonexistent at this point. I credit my success primarily to four things: (1) being in a relationship with a non-nicotine addict who supported my quit and hanging out way less with my old nicotine-addicted friends (2) smoking lots of weed and using CBD vapes to satisfy my oral fixation and desire to inhale something that gives me dopamine (3) ironically, being in a European country where virtually everyone smokes appealed to my contrarian nature. It’s not “cool” to smoke when every old boomer does (4) having previous experience with Afrin nosepray addiction (it’s real, I promise!) and thinking of nicotine as just another toxic withdrawal process that I will be better off at the end of despite the short term suffering
