2021.06.09 16:50 Rough_Warning_6630 $ESPR – REOPENING PLAY. Fundamentally undervalued, approved FDA drug, safe & effective, massive market potential, 35% Short interest. Takeout candidate. MASSIVE TENDIES POTENTIAL

Bempedoic acid (nexletol/nexlizet): FDA approved oral convenient safe & effective cholesterol reducing drug
· Monotx 20% ASCVD (max statin) – 25% stat intolerant.
· Combo: 40% (max statin)
· New moa – additive with limited safety issues
Bull case/Opportunity
If launch w/ Nexletol gets any traction…
Potential market opportunity metrics:
Ø Jan 2020: 70K people on PCSK9 (because of cost); 40M statins; Ezetimbie 750K pts today; peak 1.2M
Ø 10M on statin and not at goal; 4M w/ statin intolerance (higher efficacy?)
Ø Price: $10/day and discount ~30%=>8-20B oppty; Zetia/Vytorin peak sales close to $4B (2016)
Ø CVOT outcomes study likely positive (40% combo LDL reduction) -> H2 2022 -> $300m milestone?
Ø Short thesis moot with Q420 capital raise, 50m debt facility 2021, China license deal (tbd), H2 22 CVOT milestone ($300m)
Ø M&A: NVS inclisiran ($10bn), Viatris, MRK, BMY, other statin producers
o Eliminate SGA
Ø High moat for new CV drugs – little innovation/pipeline as CVOT/studies long/high n expensive.
o Mr. Mayleben (ex CEO) purchased more than 220,000 shares in February and March 2020 at prices of $43 to $49
Bear Case/ Risk
Poor launch metrics to date – BUT NB! new COO Q1 21 – COO became new CEO May 2021. New CEO launched Zetia for Merck (comparator drug – Nexlizet is combo Zetia + bempedoic acid/nexletol). Sheldon has done this before.
High burn – need further dilution? (easily solved by minor cash infusion – main short thesis! AND THE RESASON FOR WHY SHORTS WILL BURN AS STOCK RIPS!!)
PCSK9—Inclisiran approval march 2021 (Novartis Q6 months dosing w/ 50% reduction—pricing likely 4K+?)
Catalysts (and +/-)
Ø Sales #s turnaround – COVID RECOVERY PLAY as doctors offices reopen and people get their cholesterol blood checkups again
Ø 2022 CVOT - $300m DS milestone unlocked – solves any remaining cash need
Ø M&A candidate: Medicines Company was bought by Novartis for $10bn (vs $600m MC ESPR – 15x multiple)
Ø Optionality: Short squeeze candidate (#5 most heavily shorted) -> subsequent ATM to solve cash need -> Consensus cash need short thesis dead
o 35% SI as % float
📷
Market Opportunity & Competition
Ø 10M on statin and not at goal; 4M w/ statin intolerance (higher efficacy?)
Management & BOD
Sheldon Koenig CEO — newly hired COO. Promoted to CEO May 2021.
Long time CEO Tim Mayleben ousted.
Price Target rationale (pt #s/penetration)
Potential: Vytorin/Zetia did @ 4B à 5X peak sales à EV ESPR $20bn / 28m shares à $714/sh vs $25/sh current
Analysts/Price Target
Average (Yahoo): $49 vs today $25 (high est $135)

A way to test and determine which mouse to play with, LGPW, FK2, MM710, thoughts on Viper Ultimate, hard pads and soft pads
I'd like to introduce myself first so you'll have an idea and you can compare.
I have big hands and doing fingertip grip but slightly resting front right of my palm like Zy, playing fast paced games like TF2, Quake. Glossy or textured mice makes my hands sweat.
I have 1920x1080 240 Hz monitor.
My sensitivity is around 28 cm/360, which is 1.85 @800 DPI. I was using 1600 DPI before because of the high resolution monitor, but then I realized that cursor in desktop feels way too fast compared to the in-game sensitivity. I think this weakens the muscle memory, so I lowered it down to 800.
This sensitivity lets me play with wrist mostly, and sometimes move the forearm depending on the situation. I tried many sensitivity values but this one works literally with any FPS game and it's a good balance of precision, speed and comfort. It took years to find the correct value.
My hand is 20cm to 11.5cm when measured like this:
https://preview.redd.it/fprtx4h7tl141.png?width=636&format=png&auto=webp&s=7a7ed90494cbeb69a32e349e91f9258fca58047f
And 7cm to 12cm when measured like this:
https://preview.redd.it/wrqkabnitl141.png?width=680&format=png&auto=webp&s=6d253db0f25d4afa31d83afdfa1add3cb9026401
I tried some mice like XL-740K, Steelseries Xai, WMO1.1a, Razer Deathadder 3.5G, G400, Razer Deathadder 2013 but all either felt wrong, or had bad sensor, or sweated my hands... until I finally found my favorite in 2013: FK 2013. And I was just happy with it, didn't have any urge to change. I also got the Razer Mouse Bungee, which was literally life-changing. It makes your mouse almost wireless. You don't have to buy the overpriced brands, just make one yourself.
Around the end of 2018, there was BenQ FK2 and since my FK was old having scroll issues, I decided to switch to FK2. Very shortly after, in December, I heard about Logitech G Pro Wireless and it sounded crazy good. Relatively similar ambidextrous shape, lighter weight, better sensor and wireless! I just switched to it without any tests. It felt right and very comfy since I was able to get rid of the cable and the Razer Mouse Bungee. Table felt fresh. There wasn't many mousepad options in Turkey so I was using QcK+.
Again, I had no urge to change anything, until I recently saw Razer Viper Ultimate on RocketJumpNinja channel. I trust Zy and optical switches, better material, better skates sounded good. Whole internet says it's an upgrade. Yes, I ordered it.
I also wanted to change my mousepad, Puretrak Talent was worn, QcK+ got dirty and old. I never tried hard mats before so after a little bit of research, I ordered Logitech G440. There isn't much option here as I said. Logitech G440 just blew my mind, I wish I tried it a lot earlier. I always thought of hard pads as very loud sandpapers which don't glide. But it's reverse! It glides way too much, up to a point that you might not want it to glide that much. So I put my LGPW on it and it was silent, and it glides so smoothly. The best way I can explain the difference between a hardpad and softpad is: move your mouse 1 cm left and right rapidly on a cloth pad. You'll feel a drag every time you turn, every time you fight against inertia; hard pad does not have that. I love how everyone are trying to lower the weight of the mouse but switching to a hard pad is very similar to lowering your mouse weight, it doesn't require any effort to move around. It took a little bit to get used to, but when I got used to it, I couldn't go back to cloth. Maybe there are some cloth pads like Artisan which has this smooth glide, I am not sure but QcK+ and Puretrak Talent didn't have it.
Then came the Viper Ultimate. Dock feels luxury after cable charging of LGPW. I don't like the non-smooth coating, makes my hands sweat. It felt high quality, clicks are a little bit different but not that much. I put it to Logitech G440 and I got annoyed so much because I was feeling the friction vibration and it was not silent. I still wanted to use it. So I spent whole day playing with Viper Ultimate, and at some point right side of my pointing finger hurt because it has a deep inwards curve at buttons and since my finger is a little bit rotated, I press with right side of it. At that point I understood that I shouldn't get any mouse with deep curve. I sent to return it but I think they don't take mice back, will see.
So I was back to LGPW. But even in LGPW comparison in RJN channel, Zy says that he still prefers FK2, my old mouse. So I wanted to give it a try, it was nostalgic after one year. I played a lot with both mice. But I wasn't able to tell the difference in my performance, with both I miss, with both I land crazy headshots in TF2, or airshots in Quake. I needed to test better.
I bought Kovaak's Aim Trainer. Picked two maps, one for tracking and one for one-tapping many targets as you can, let's call it shooting. LGPW had 1 year of muscle memory advantage and FK2 had 2013-2019 muscle memory. I was really wondering how it was going to turn out.
I opened the tracking level, each play takes 1 minute. First I played with FK2, then played with LGPW, and played 40-50 times like that. Each time I wrote down the score I did. And I tried to focus same between two every round.
Then did the same for shooting level. And it was really interesting to see the list of scores. Now I was able to compare them.
First I picked the winner of each round, around 20-25 rounds. Then I took the average of the scores to see which one had better average performance. Then I took the standard deviation of the scores to see which one is more stable in terms of doing similar scores.
Tile Frenzy & Cata IC Long Strafes
Then finally I sorted all the scores and checked which one has more entries in Top-3, Top-10 and Top-15.

Results were interesting and FK2 was clearly the winner for me at FPS in Windows. But for work on Mac, I need 4 side buttons, so I keep both on my desk and switch between them.
I am still curious about the lightweight mice, since LGPW is 77 grams and FK2 is 84.
Finalmouse's $180 price tag is so expensive, considering with customs and shipping it will cost around $227 for me. And in Zy's Top Mice list I saw Cooler Master MM710, I trust this brand and it's available in Turkey for around $50-$55. That price is really really good for 53 grams comparing to Finalmouse. I also saw Glorious Model O- which is more similar to FK2 but it's out of stocks here at the moment and it's 58 grams. After watching small mouse comparison video, I ordered MM710. It has really good cable comparing to FK2's garbage cable, though with Razer Mouse Bungee, cable does not really matter since it's being short and in air, with my relatively high sensitivity. I think MM710 has a big chance of being my new favorite. My concerns about this mouse is the high hump, and the fact that it's so light, and hard mat is gliding so much, it might not be a good combo to have the highest glide, who knows.
Since I liked Logitech G440, I ordered Razer Sphex v2 too to compare them. There aren't any proper comparisons online and since I now know that the glide feel changes depending on the mouse, I have to try it myself.
I also ordered Logitech G703 to see if a heavier 104 grams mouse feels better on a hard pad.
I'm planning to do the same test with MM710, G703 and Razer Sphex v2 separately. I might update this post if you people are curious.
Edit 1 - 29.11.2019:
I took Puretrak Talent, QcK+ SK Gaming, QcK+ no print again from my parents' house. Compared them against Logitech G440 and nope, I can't go back to cloth anymore. I'm really excited to check Razer Sphex v2! Also they accepted the return of Razer Viper Ultimate, great because I tested it for free!
Edit 2 - 30.11.2019:
MM710 just arrived, it is so light. This will be the first one hour impressions, quick update for you because I have work to do, can't do the long tests soon.
I didn't think the weight would make this much difference but FK2 and LGPW are feeling heavy and slow now. I beat my Kovaak's score in Tile Frenzy. It was 87 with FK2, now it's 97.2 with 95.33% accuracy, I'm sure I can improve more. G703 didn't come yet but I probably can't use that since that's 2x of this weight.
Size is pretty good for me, hump does not affect me at all. Since it's short, I don't rest front right part of my palm on it anymore like I do at FK2, it's pure fingertip grip now. I guess this shape is better for me. Cable is fine, I use bungee anyways.
Software is bad looking but fully functional for my needs, you can add your mousepad etc. There is LOD setting. Angle Tunability which I didn't see at other mice, though I will never use it. DPI is customizable with 100 steps, can hold 7 modes which can change with the DPI button.
My only problem with this mouse so far is the holes at pinky, because my pink is at back, it makes it feel a bit different after a while, disturbing. Might cover it with paper tape or something, I am open to recommendations for this. Though I had this same problem at my wrist when I switched to Logitech G440 hardpad, plastic did the same but got used to it already, does not happen anymore. So pinky issue also might pass.
Biggest problem I have with LGPW is that I accidentally rightclick very often while tracking and it makes me die ingame. It didn't happen so far with this one.
Skates has no issue, though it's loud at Logitech G440 just like FK2, I don't know how LGPW is being so silent on it.
Lightweight mouse with hard pad is the ultimate combo for speed, when I get used to it playing for weeks, I'll eventually have more control I'm thinking. But even now, it feels stable enough, otherwise I could switch back already.
Edit 2 - 30.11.2019 - 2 hours of MM710
I know it's really unfair for MM710 but I did the same test, only for tracking. Here are the results:

https://preview.redd.it/ghqlzv479t141.png?width=312&format=png&auto=webp&s=2481b14320a80617811b1fa65540faf76ca397e8

I think FK2 won this one, but it's really close. Though as I said it's been just two hours, I'll do the same test again later when I get used to it.
Edit 3 - 30.11.2019 - 4 hours of MM710
I spent non-stop 2 hours testing all 3 mice, giving LGPW one more chance. Played Tile Frenzy, one tapping boxes and oh well...

https://preview.redd.it/p1eruvcjvt141.png?width=413&format=png&auto=webp&s=8399a5c3d8357f1ff4a0fcded26355110c1230bb

MM710 just dominated. I think just because it's light, I was able to reach and click more boxes, each travel was quicker. However FK2 felt a lot more in control. It's been just 4 hours since MM710 arrived, I already get pretty good results. Definitely switching to it!
G703 did not arrive yet but I don't think I'll use it, I'll just try it a little but does not worth this intense 1-2 hours test.
Waiting for Razer Sphex V2, I really wonder if it's better than G440.
Two mice I'm still curious of: Glorious Model O- and Finalmouse Ultralight 2, though I can't get them. People don't seem to be that happy with stock FM UL2, I am not going to use those foam stuff so I'll skip that mouse. Glorious Model O- is interesting but not in stocks at the moment.
Also it's so annoying that Glorious Model O- has RGB stuff, and they don't have any other lighter option which doesn't have that. I'll just skip that mouse too, otherwise my mind will keep telling me to take it apart and mod it which I don't really want to do.
MM710 is really clean already, nothing to take out probably. Though I don't use sidebuttons so I'll check if they are easy to get rid of.
Edit 4 - 30.11.2019:
MM710 is definitely my new favorite because I just found this video. I don't hesitate to mod it since it's really cheap. I have LGPW with 4 sidebuttons for work on my desk anyways. I will definitely take out that hump part, not needed for my fingertip grip, easy weight reduction too.
Edit 5 - 01.12.2019:
I cancelled Razer Sphex V2 order, ordered Cooler Master MP510 instead to try a modern cloth pad since I didn't use anything else than some QcKs and Puretrak Talent.
Also, my MM710 buttons and scroll had some wobbling, I searched online and there are really easy-to-do mods which does not break anything. I applied most of them and mouse is ultra solid now. Though I decided to keep the back cover.

Stabilized the scroll by putting a dense sponge
Eliminated post travel by putting two dense sponge pieces under the buttons
Eliminated button wobble by putting two very reliable small tapes, between them there is DPI button
To have piece of mind about opening it again, I cut the screw parts of the feet, no screws in front
Tape is visible so you might wanna use a black one
I also realized that those black stock feet of LGPW is designed for plastic hard pad and PTFE feet are for cloth. They don't work well otherwise.

Edit 09.12.2019:
Even after mods, MM710 didn't feel solid enough so I reversed all the mods. If you don't pay attention, it's okay but it just annoys me.
I bought Finalmouse Ultralight 2 today. Comparing it to the MM710, it's a lot smaller in every single direction. Feels lighter even if difference is 3-6 grams, it might be skates too. Build quality is incredibly high, no wobbles or creaky presses. Holes at thumb side do not annoy me, they are very small, but the ring finger got irritated after a while. At MM710, pinky has that issue. Scroll is very light, I don't know if it's good, I like both scrolls. Cord is a lot stronger, almost like rubber. It cost me 175 USD + Shipment and customs = 250 USD compared to MM710 being 50 USD. My hands are really large so my pinky can't rest easily on this, that area is empty. Feels effortless to play with it because I can move it up and down easier since it's short. There wasn't any time to get adapted, it just feels natural, like a small FK2.
I did the same test between FK, MM710 and UL2. LGPW was also in at start but then it just didn't get good results so I took it out.
Scores are really similar, it's hard to tell who won. UL is more consistent than MM710, that's for sure. Highest scores and averages are really close but FK won the highest, and UL has the best average.
https://preview.redd.it/f313c0dmjm341.png?width=413&format=png&auto=webp&s=c79e00dad996cab025ce211745312c372b17c289

UL performed the best at Top-3,10,15,25,50 when we sort. It really feels premium like LGPW or FK2, nice to hold. MM710 is the worst one in terms of quality feel, mostly because of the buttons.
G440 hardpad is blazing fast again but I don't wanna wear out the skates of this. So the last test was on QcK+.
500 hz thing I didn't notice, tracks good.
I am waiting for Cooler Master MP510 mousepad. That probably will be better than good old QcK+.
The last one to test is Model O- but I don't think that can beat this and as I said before I hate that they spent some weight on RGB.
Here are the mice I have right now:

Edit 10.12.2019:
Cooler Master MP510 just arrived. It's just weird, feels uncomfortable at wrist, texture is like a school bag texture. LGPW glides smoothly on it but UL2 is scratchy. Gameplay is fine, size is fine because it's wide and short, leaving space for the bungee. I just didn't like it I guess. I'll try Fury S XL Shroud Edition and Fury S Speed Large soon. That would finalize the mousepad topic.
Edit 10.12.2019:
Fury S XL Shroud Edition also arrived, I'll call it Shroud. It's faster and smoother than QcK+, feels a ton better. Can't really tell but I think it's faster than MP510 too, nicer and more silent to use. I'll use this instead. I'm waiting for Fury S Speed Edition which has terrible print. I'll test that.
XL mousepad is interesting really. I don't need to worry if keyboard is on the mousepad or not since it's always on it. Though it might sweat my left wrist more. Print is amazing... Only concern is the plate/glass I am putting between me and the keyboard, stuff might spill.
Also, I gave MP510 one more chance and it actually works if you ignore the uncomfortness. Though I can't find any reason to go with it while Fury S is an option.
Edit 11.12.2019:
Fury S Speed Edition which has that ugly red print also arrived, I can't tell the difference. It feels even worse, Shroud one is smoother.
Will try to get refund for MP510 and Fury S Speed. I'll stick with this HyperX FURY S Pro Mousepad XL Shroud Limited Heroes Edition

https://preview.redd.it/6n094y8rgz341.jpg?width=1292&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=490a63e2c1833376aca70c47a9558081afab2178
In future I would like to try Glorious Helios and some other pads but we don't have them in Turkey yet. This is the best cloth option here.
So I am set with mouse and mousepad, will upgrade my Razer Mouse Bungee V1 to V2 since it's broken and really old, from 2013. And that's pretty much endgame for me, for now! :)
Edit 20.06.2020: Today I got Glorious Model O Minus Matte White. It's really beautiful. I compared it with UL2 whole day.
https://preview.redd.it/kjxor0d4oy551.jpg?width=6944&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c6a3a52d5f64c3fe8fcdd38a64c10ea5d6d84466
DOES MATTER
  • UL2 buttons are more clicky and scroll is softer, easier to spin
  • UL2 is shorter, a little bit higher aim distance looking down
  • UL2 can get wider with side sponges, better to hold
  • UL2 feet are smoother
  • O- feet are faster
  • O- has A LOT better side surface, smooth for fingers, very nice to hold
  • O-'s right wall is going in and out like half mm, very distracting
  • O-'s button does not lift up/let go easily, you need to lift your finger a lot
DOES NOT MATTER
  • UL2 is 8g lighter but does not matter because feet are different, can't tell
  • UL2 plastic material is nicer but does not matter
  • UL2 is 2 ms click lag while O- is 4 ms but does not matter
  • O- cord is softer but does not matter with bungee
  • O- is 1000 hz but does not matter
  • O- has really sweet RGB but does not matter
  • O- has software but does not matter
I decided to continue with UL2. My only complaint about UL2 is sides, specially the right side hurting my fingers. I wish it was flat there. Same with infinity skins. Maybe I can find a grip tape.
