It seems that every time I go to the Costco gas station I see some offender committing Cardinal sins against the Costco gas line and I feel like if everyone followed these simple rules, we would all have a better experience.

1. Pick a line and pay attention to when a pump opens up.

Most locations have a display that will tell you which pumps are open. You don’t need a personal invitation to pull up.
Be ready to move forward to the pump. Unless the person behind that open pump is already in their car with their vehicle started, we’re going to need you to go ahead and move your vehicle up to the open pump promptly.
Most locations utilize extra long hoses that will reach across your vehicle easily. Don’t be afraid to pull the pump to the other side if that line is shorter. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen 5 cars queued up while there’s 3 open pumps in the next line.

1. Have your card(s) ready when you arrive at the pump.

While you are sitting at the pump is not the time for you to dig through your purse, wallet, or glovebox looking for your membership and payment cards. Those should be ready to go when you arrive at the pump. You’ve been sitting in your car for presumably the last 5-10 minutes so the least you could do is have these ready. I know it will take away from you being able to watch cat videos in the queue, but it will really help everyone else out.
Additionally you should have your gas door popped when you get out of the car and you should know what gas you need. It’s Costco, there’s only two choices.

1. Be ready to return the pump when it stops.

While pumping you should be paying attention to your pump. When it clicks remove the pump from your vehicle, replace it on the island, close your gas cap and return to your vehicle. Other people are waiting so we would all appreciate if you kept it moving. If you haven’t gotten all the trash out of your car by the time the pump stops, tough luck.

1. Once you return to your car start it up and leave.

I know you have a 30 item pre trip checklist that you need to go through, do that in the parking lot. I’m so tired of people sitting at the pump for 5 minutes after they finished. There are other people who need to pump also so please take your extracurricular activities elsewhere in the parking lot.
Things you don’t need to do while parked in front of the pump after fueling include, but are not limited to: adjusting your mirrors, tuning the radio, looking through your purse or bag, feeding children, putting on makeup, making phone calls. In fact the only thing you should do is put your seatbelt on, and even that can be done on the move.

Hey there,
I am writing this to ask experienced people for their advice regarding doing multiple SATS in a day.
At the moment, I am doing 3 SATS a day to manifest height, wealth and confidence. I've been doing these for over a month now, missing here and there occasionally.
In the beginning, it was going great, I became more confident, gained 1/2 an inch in height and also got closer to my dream career. It felt like godsent knowledge to be honest.
Everything is going okay so far except for the height part. I grew 1/2 an inch in a week but have stopped growing since then even though that's the meditation I never really miss. I have started to grow doubts in regard to doing 3 SATS sessions i.e. if I'm doing myself a disservice by trying to manifest so much at once? is there a rule that we can only manifest one thing at once? Is asking for so much slowing my progress or it might even prevent me from succeeding?
For context about me, I was already quite spiritual and meditative even before starting LOA and maybe that is the reason I can get that state of feeling very quickly and intensely. One more thing about me is that when I do my height manifestation before bed, it becomes like a meditation session and can really energize me, so it takes quite a while for me to actually sleep after that. Do you think this is normal?
And also, how long do your guy's SATS last? do you sit with a timer or just stop when the feeling is intense?

This is my first theory posted here so please take it with a grain of salt.
As my brain is on "break week" mode, I decided to take another look at the mother flame panel where we see the machine with the mother flame inside.

We are already assuming from multiple theories on this subreddit that the A&MU can mean Atom because of how we pronounce it in japanese.
However, I haven't seen any theory or info on the S-108, and here is where I decided to investigate and dig a little bit deeper.
This is the part where the theory becomes farfetched, but let's assume the 108 related to a date, in this case, 10th of August (10-8).
I decided to look at important events in this date since Oda also loves his references related to important historical events and I came across this:
"In 1893, Rudolf Diesel's prime model internal combustion engine, a single 10-foot iron cylinder with a flywheel at its base, ran on its own power for the first time in Augsburg, Germany".
This particular event reminded me a lot of Vegapunk's dream of free and unlimited self sustaining energy, especially when reading the "ran on its own power" part, so I decided to dig a little deeper.
When researching Diesel's career, I encountered the following piece of text:
"In early 1890, Diesel moved to Berlin with his wife and children, Rudolf Jr, Heddy, and Eugen, to assume management of Linde's corporate research and development department and to join several other corporate boards there. As he was not allowed to use for his own purposes the patents he developed while an employee of Linde's, he expanded beyond the field of refrigeration. He first worked with steam, his research into thermal efficiency and fuel efficiency leading him to build a steam engine using ammonia vapor."
When reading this, I couldn't help but notice how it seemed very similar to Vegapunk's so called second sin mentioned in the latest chapter where he says that he studied the forbidden era himself despite not being allowed to do so.
Now, let's take another look at the machine that holds the mother flame in the panel. We already know that the mother flame was used by something when Lulusia was wiped off the map, and we can assume that it was something in the air, so a flying weapon of sorts.
With this in mind, I decided to research the first diesel engine used in an aircraft and came upon the Packard DR-980. Below, you can see what it looks like.

Notice how it looks very much like the machine that holds the mother flame?
Now, I'm not sure how everything will turn out in the story if there even is a connection to the diesel engine but let me know what you think.

WFH ako at a Big4 company at wla na kami masyadong ginagawa sa team namin since March. As someone na gusto maging productive everyday, nag sesearch ako kung ano2 pwede gawing side hustle. Recently, gusto kong mag apply ng mga other part time jobs like VA which I started 2 days ago plg pero no luck so far. Pwede po ba mag ask ng mga tips kung saan/paano maka land ng VA jobs? I woke up two days ago with two itchy bites on my ankle, and it's all been a whirlwind from there. I've pretty much convinced myself that I have bedbugs living in my bed, based on the following:

1. The two bites I've described, plus some other skin irregularities/itchy patches (the latter may be imagined) I've noticed on my body.
2. A blood patch I found on my bedsheets.
3. Something I found on the floor, which I took to be a molted bed bug shell.

Now, from a rational perspective I know I'm overreacting completely. And here's why:

1. After discovering the bites, I found a mosquito in my room. Though the bites don't look like other mosquito bites I get and were somewhere that I assumed was covered by bedding while I slept. But it's still probably the mosquito, and if not, I did sit the night before in my friend's car, who recently got a dog. It's possible they could be flea bites.
2. The blood patch looked fairly old, and by Googling it seems bed bug blood patches would be smaller and darker. It's also possible either my girlfriend or I had a spot/pimple that bled in our sleep - we both have some on our back.
3. That "shell" I found was the same colour as a bed bug, but apparently their molted shells are translucent, and this one lacked any "bug parts" (antennae, legs) and had a different texture than I would expect. Could just as easily have been a seed from a bread loaf.

Nevertheless here I am tearing up my mind about bedbugs, scrutinising my mattress constantly, and washing my clothes and sheets at 60° even though I usually do 40° because it's gentler. The bedbugs subreddit does not help because everyone over there seems as anxious as me, and every "is this a bed bug/shell/egg" post gets a few yes responses despite a real diversity in the pictures posted. The thing with bed bugs is they're practically unfalsifiable: they're good at hiding, so you don't see them, their bites vary from person to person, and they can go for long periods without feeding.
Like I said, I likely don't have bedbugs. The fear stems from a budget hotel my friend booked us in to two weeks ago, which wasn't the cleanest. But I did check the mattresses there, and they seemed to pass the test. My friend actually moved on to a second hotel after I went home that did have bed bugs, and he said it was immediately noticeable. I visited India last year, and when my friend jokingly talked about bringing bedbugs home on the return flight (we didn't encounter any) the thought played on my mind for a couple weeks, but this time is more intense.
The only reprieve I get from worrying about them is when I'm distracted, like at work. I did a pretty intense yoga session yesterday and didn't think about it once, but as soon as we brought the session to a close with a meditation, they were back all over my mind.
I also know that, worse case scenario, if I did have them, I'd have to call an exterminator and be out €2000, which would be utterly shit but wouldn't kill me. It's not like the bugs can kill me or even hurt me either. I thought about calling an inspector, but I don't want to spend all that money (and probably anger my landlord) just for reassurance.
I've always been an overthinker and have struggled with anxiety throughout my life. In the past year or two, though, I've noticed some more intrusive thoughts:

1. My ex and I had a place last year and she had a cat. One day when I was leaving for work I didn't pull the door all the way closed. My ex noticed and chewed me out (another story) because it was an indoor cat. But for months afterwards this led me to coming back to the house after leaving for work (sometimes already after walking 10 minutes), coming home early, or staying home completely. At this time I also had a depressive period and my work suffered for a few months as a result.
2. After my breakup when I moved into my new place, I put a hanging plant attachment into the roof and couldn't shake the feeling I'd hit a gas line, even after my Dad (a tradesman) told me they were unlikely to be in that part of the ceiling. I left on a work trip abroad the same day and for the first day away all I thought about was returning to a blown-up apartment. I had a similar feeling when my fridge gas pipe ruptured - I thought I was gonna die in my sleep and ventilated my flat for days.
3. I'm terrified of fire, always have been, but lately I've been unplugging things every time I leave my office because I'm afraid I'll burn the whole place down. I recently quit smoking with the help of an e-cigarette, but for the first week or two I had it I was often terrified it would explode in my pocket.
4. I had an unexplainable pain in my nether regions for a few months that took A LONG TIME to diagnose (turned out to be a muscle problem). But I was constantly anxious about testicular torsion and I wondered why doctors/urologists didn't care. At one point I remember telling myself "I think you want testicular torsion just so you know you're right."
5. When I leave my house I check my balcony door is locked and that the stove is turned off, usually only once, maybe twice. Regarding unplugging things in work, I've once sent my colleague to check something in my office after I left, under false pretenses, in the hope that if something bad had happened (a fire) they would notice and catch it in time.
6. I have - very, very rarely, probably less than 5 times in my life - been consumed momentarily by thoughts of self-harm. Mostly it's fleeting like the intrusive thought I guess everyone gets occasionally, just pushing your brain to consider the worst. However, twice - once after trying SSRIs for my depressive episode and again at random more recently - I had thoughts of slitting my wrists that scared the fuck out of me and sat with me for a good few hours.

I've been in therapy before for anxiety but stopped for a while because my therapist's son got really sick and stopped all sessions. When I look at all this, written out, I'm honestly starting to convince myself that the more likely thing going on here is that I have undiagnosed mild OCD.
However, these thoughts don't normally take over my whole day - I can usually get away from them if I'm distracted, and most of the time they don't bother me unrelentingly, just mildly. Also, besides the unplugging of electronics and checking of locks - which I do not do universally - I don't really think I have any compulsions. These are things I would expect if I had diagnosable OCD, though I don't know much about the condition or the spectrum it exists within.
What are your thoughts? Does it sound like anxiety or OCD experience? I'm planning to go back to therapy next month if I can (it's hard to get appointments where I live, especially in my native language), but do you have any tips for dealing with such thoughts by myself too?

I was scrolling on my bank app to find out that my dad took $2000 out of my account. I didn’t even know until today and he took it out about 2 days ago without even asking. my dad works 2 jobs and sometimes I can understand how he can struggle with paying bills. but when i asked him if he took that money out, he said yeah and that he’ll give it back to me later and only took it out because he had bills to pay. i’m not sure what to feel. A part of me feels really angry because he could’ve just came to me and said “hey do you think i can borrow money from you” but then another part of me feels bad and I feel i should just “forget” about it. but i don’t know i guess im more mad because he took that money out without even asking me, and I had to find out about it. i’m currently 19 years old and when I first opened my debit card, I was under him, so he could see what im spending, and I didn’t really care to request him off since he’s my dad, but now i’m like it’s not fair how he’s seeing I have money, and thinks he can take it out without asking, and 2,000 dollars happens to be a lot, so i don’t really know. Any advice?

So, you might have come across the infamous 'wormy' artifacts when you sharpen Fujifilm images from the 'older' Bayer Sensor generation (X-Pro2, X-T2,...).
This is due to how Lightroom calculates for deconvoluted sharpening. Their algorithm doesn't really go well with those RAW files. There are some other editing suites out there, like Capture One (not free) and Darktable (free) which do a better job at sharpening these files, but they are also not good.
What I always do to sharpen my Fuji images is the following:

1. Set the sharpening to 0 in Lightroom
   
2. Open the image in Photoshop.
   
3. Copy the layer twice (CTRL + J)
   
4. Click on the middle layer.
   
5. Click Filter -> Sharpen -> Unsharp Mask
   
6. Move the sliders to these values: 150% / 0.5 / Threshold: Depends on the image, usually anywhere 0 - 30
   
7. Click Okay
   
8. Select the upper layer.
   
9. Click Filter -> Other > High Pass
   
10. Set it to 2.4
    
11. Click Okay
    
12. Set the layer to Vivid Light.
    
13. Double click on the right side of the layer.
    
14. Where it says 'Underlying layer', move the white double triangle slider to ~125
    
15. Alt click the white double triangle slider
    
16. Move the right triangle slider to 150, let the left triangle slider stay at 125
    
17. Click OK.
    
18. Hold shift and select both sharpening layers.
    
19. Hit CTRL + G to group them.
    
20. Now you can add a mask to the group and paint the sharpening only to a face or any other subject if you don't want to sharpen out of focus elements, you can decrease the opacity of the individual layers in the group, you can decrease the entire groups opacity,...
    

You can also make an action to make all of this instant. Instead of using Blend If (where we double clicked on the right side of the Vivid Light layer, the one with the High Pass filter) you can simply click on the gray layer icon and make a Darks1 luminocity mask and apply that as a layer mask to this High Pass layer. This is done to avoid any halos or artifacts that might make this look weird. We simply push the sharpening into the darker parts of the image. Since sharpening is basically just a very strong contrast of light and dark between adjacent pixels, this method works really well.
This method can also be done with non Fuji files to get professional looking sharpening that you can fully control.

I want to develop a character who has DID derived from PTSD, which in turn arose from a four-day period of suffering different atrocities. The character has no explicit memories of this four-day period, but their subconscious locks it away to avoid the pain of trauma and develops disorders as a defense mechanism. In addition to the mentioned disorders, the character has developed a refusal to eat food due to an apparently irrational line of thought and sensation that if they eat, they would be hypocritical for something, and therefore, more guilty. The character has 5 personalities. So far, I've only been able to conceptualize 3: the assistant, the machine, and the monster.
The monster is the murderous and harmful personality. It's what the character most instinctively tries to avoid manifesting, even if they don't know exactly why. It's the embodiment of their potential evil, and its appearances are always accompanied by tension and suspense. Even if not actually manifested (or is it?), the mere fact of appearing in nightmares and hallucinations already triggers panic attacks in the character. This is the most mysterious personality because the character has doubts about the nature of this personality that doesn't offer many explanations beyond the simple fact that it knows everything about him and is playing and affecting him; Is it a personality or a distinct demon? Is it a delusion or is it real? Is it himself or a separate being pretending to be him to scare him? Is it capable of killing the personalities, and if so, why doesn't it do it immediately instead of leaving the personalities unharmed? Why psychologically torture him if the function of fragmented personalities is to help in self-preservation? If it's real, why does it let him escape at the end of its ''games''? This personality (or not) is physically the largest, the most technological, the most inhuman, and presents more feats of strength despite appearing less, all geared towards psychological torture mainly, a literal kind of haunting like Pennywise's. It wreaks psychological havoc on the character in each of its personalities, and the most sensitive one, which is the one the other personalities most try to avoid being impacted by the monster, is the assistant personality, the personality that personifies human essence and, being based on the Superego and Ego and reflecting the distant past spent with his deceased good mother whose values were transmitted in his childhood and adolescence, is the personality that tries to maintain order, predominate, and reunite the fragmented personalities, although this self-imposed role is not easy and it is difficult to deal with the fear of what could happen if people found out that he and the other four 'people' are actually the same person who has DID; it is difficult to represent order while his other parts are more inclined to chaos and there is no direct interaction between the personalities. The assistant personality has blindness, whose degree varies depending nuancemente on the external and internal security situation it feels, but is always present because it results from an unresolved trauma. Glasses are used, the only one who does this. Blindness is more present in the assistant personality and less manifested in the other personalities because they are more detached from humanity. The assistant personality is the most divergent from what the character was before DID. Its form is more human, shorter, and less cybernetic, precisely because it reflects a distant period from the current one of the character. (A side note: the character is, in a way, a shapeshifter, so its personalities have a distinct form, some more similar to each other and others less similar, and vice versa. The metamorphosis is restricted to the forms the character has already had in its life and afterlife, and those forms it did not have are a more adapted version of the personality concept). The assistant is the most sensitive personality and the one that most tries to be virtuous, and because of these characteristics, it is the most vulnerable to the monster.
The machine personality is the psychological barrier. A wall for any emotions. An internal shield for trauma. It looks like a robot, like a machine, both for sentimental and behavioral issues. It does not feel emotions, is extremely rational, and is very connected to technology. Indeed, it is the most technological personality in the purest sense of the word, while the monster personality is the most technological in the most monstrous sense. Its function is to offer a more impartial view of situations and, because of the monster, to be the most solid shield for the assistant personality not to be haunted directly (and possibly killed) by the monster.
There are 2 more personalities to develop, and I'm working on it since it's a new idea I had.
The character is Vox.
The conceptual ideas for this fanfic that I intend to create, combined with my hobby of self-studying psychology/psychoanalysis/psychiatry, made me realize that I attribute four disorders to Vox:
• DID: According to the DSM-5 criteria, to be considered DID it is necessary: ▪︎Two or more distinct identities or personality states are present, each with its own relatively enduring pattern of perceiving, relating to, and thinking about the environment and self. ▪︎Amnesia must occur, defined as gaps in the recall of everyday events, important personal information, and/or traumatic events. ▪︎The person must be distressed by the disorder or have trouble functioning in one or more major life areas because of the disorder. ▪︎The disturbance is not part of normal cultural or religious practices. ▪︎The symptoms cannot be due to the direct physiological effects of a substance (such as blackouts or chaotic behavior during alcohol intoxication) or a general medical condition (such as complex partial seizures).
• PTSD: Symptoms of PTSD fall into the following four categories. Specific symptoms can vary in severity.
Intrusion: Intrusive thoughts such as repeated, involuntary memories; distressing dreams; or flashbacks of the traumatic event. Flashbacks may be so vivid that people feel they are reliving the traumatic experience or seeing it before their eyes. Avoidance: Avoiding reminders of the traumatic event may include avoiding people, places, activities, objects and situations that may trigger distressing memories. People may try to avoid remembering or thinking about the traumatic event. They may resist talking about what happened or how they feel about it. Alterations in cognition and mood: Inability to remember important aspects of the traumatic event, negative thoughts and feelings leading to ongoing and distorted beliefs about oneself or others (e.g., “I am bad,” “No one can be trusted”); distorted thoughts about the cause or consequences of the event leading to wrongly blaming self or other; ongoing fear, horror, anger, guilt or shame; much less interest in activities previously enjoyed; feeling detached or estranged from others; or being unable to experience positive emotions (a void of happiness or satisfaction). Alterations in arousal and reactivity: Arousal and reactive symptoms may include being irritable and having angry outbursts; behaving recklessly or in a self-destructive way; being overly watchful of one's surroundings in a suspecting way; being easily startled; or having problems concentrating or sleeping. Many people who are exposed to a traumatic event experience symptoms similar to those described above in the days following the event. For a person to be diagnosed with PTSD, however, symptoms must last for more than a month and must cause significant distress or problems in the individual's daily functioning. Many individuals develop symptoms within three months of the trauma, but symptoms may appear later and often persist for months and sometimes years. PTSD often occurs with other related conditions, such as depression, substance use, memory problems and other physical and mental health problems.

Symptoms of psychosis Having moments of psychosis (when people lose some contact with reality) means experiencing:

"Psychomotor agitation" is also common. This means not being able to relax or sit still, and constantly fidgeting.
At the other extreme, a person with psychotic depression may have "psychomotor retardation", where both their thoughts and physical movements slow down.

• An as-yet unidentified eating disorder: This is the only one in which I do not know which exact diagnosis it fits into. It is a consequence of the trauma from the four-day period - including this period being one of the biggest mysteries in history and a great source of theories for readers, as it is the root of Vox's psychological mess, the divergence point that originated the entire fanfic and which the protagonist DOES NOT want to remember - that resulted in the trauma of eating. He does not feel like eating, not even the SIN OF GLUTTONY is able to make him eat - he is immune to her powers - and feels an apparently inexplicable instinct of guilt and hypocrisy when trying to eat, as if he were the worst being in the universe if he ate a food and a huge hypocrite; why and what exactly this innate thought of judging himself as a hypocrite is another mystery in the plot.
In this story, at least in the initial arcs, no one associates all five as being the same person, at most they associate only one/two of them with Vox. With the climaxes (yes, it's in the plural) throughout the story, the characters will find evidence and suspect and associate more and more of the other alters (as I call Vox's fragmented personalities) with the same person, which increases the narrative tension. Being the assistant personality the last to be accurately associated by the other characters, although she was the one that had the most tension and care in NOT being associated throughout the story because she is the human essence of Vox, reflects more the fragility of his soul state and is not ready to deal with the harsh social consequences that the actions of the other alters and Vox before DID caused, needing solid support and not wanting to lose all the friendly social relationships, although fragile, that he built as a separate being from Vox and the other alters. It is easier to hate than to love. The assistant personality does not want to risk losing the little support he has built. These relationships are extremely valuable to him. He doesn't want to have this taken away from him anymore. The relationships he built are based on the inhabitants of Hazbin Hotel.
All alters have Vox's trademark: the TV as
a head. All... except the assistant personality. This alter is the ONLY one that has a human head and is the smallest, being even a few centimeters smaller than Lucifer. The size of his hair goes up to just above his shoulders, but he ties them in a professional hairstyle. His clothes are similar to those of an assistant, and they have a palette of blue, black, and white colors. The color of his hair, influenced by his powers as a Media Demon, is black with dark blue streaks and tips.
His human appearance reflects a period when Vox was human. In my story Vox is a trans man, which means he was born female and went through a transition at some point in his adolescence or adulthood. The appearance of the assistant personality reflects an episode during his 13/14 years. In this episode, he did a special show for his father's assistant at a fancy restaurant. It was her last night in his life as she would unfortunately be sent away without a chance to return, and he was aware of this. He also knew that his father was responsible for her being sent away, although his innocence at the time made him not immediately detect that she would be KILLED by a hired hitman hired by the father and mother. The assistant was a loved one by the teenage Vox. She was a loving mother he never had, and because of the emotional attachment to her, he decided to do a musical show, showing for the first and last time to anyone his talent for piano and violin. He, at the time still not going through the transition, dressed more masculinely, used the best appearance he could, and used a pseudonym to enter the restaurant and make the presentation without being detected by the family. He did not explicitly specify for whom the music was intended, but the assistant, secretly his true biological mother, knew it was for her. That was the last time he would see her, and he made every second of that night count.
Vox's human female name was Elizabeth. I chose this name because it is a beautiful name, it was the name of the former queen of the United Kingdom, and it was the name of one of Jack the Ripper's victims, Elizabeth Stride.
Vox, during his adult life as a man and even post-death, buried his past as a woman. It was not a source of pride, especially for the family abuses suffered and the transphobia of the time. If the Vees, the people closest to him currently, do not have a deep understanding of Vox's human life as a man, imagine their knowledge of the initial part of his life before the transition!
That's why being called "Elizabeth" during the direct and indirect appearances of the monster personality already causes genuine and unmasked panic in him. It is an indication of knowledge of his deepest layers.
The story has a suspenseful atmosphere, with some horror scenes. We follow the alters individually, and as the story progresses, we realize along with the protagonist some strange, wrong things. The alters do not communicate directly with each other and, therefore, the character does not immediately perceive the signs of having multiple personalities. It was as if there were four people in one body and none of them noticed, according to the perspective of the assistant personality, the alter that we slowly follow discovering the huge web of the situation he's in. There's something very wrong with Vox, more specifically his soul. But there's an invisible barrier that prevents the character from investigating further, like an elephant in the middle of the room. Each alter has its own course, all acting as if they were distinct people and not associating with each other. This is bad socially speaking in the long run, because sooner or later the clash of beliefs and values built among the alters will come into conflict and the individual consequences of their actions will negatively impact each other. The monster personality served to add more salt to the wound. It is by far the most harmful, appearing little but causing a huge mess in return. Don't think of it as a kind of Hulk, because Hulk is a destructive monster that his counterpart, Bruce, can try to control and turn into a hero, and everyone is aware of Hulk's nature, which is easy to understand and try to contain; whereas the monster personality is an enigma at the same time as it is a nightmare, there is no discussion with it, it causes psychological terror in Vox's alters, its apparently internal actions affect the external world of the alters, it is unpredictable, it is the literal meaning of hell. The monster personality has already caused physical harm to the alters, although they did not exactly remember, mainly the assistant personality, the most oblivious of all for a reason. I want to relate the monster personality to Roo.

I’ve been through a lot of the ‘beginners guides’ in the wikis and links from various comments in the beginner threads which have been very useful, but I have some really practical (and probably very basic) questions that a lot of the guides don’t quite answer (or I haven’t got to that part yet!) or I still just don’t understand.
I’ve never camped before - apart from one night in my partners back garden when we were teens - and we don’t have a garden to practice in.
My child is 3 and most hotels/BnBs in places I’d like to visit are over £110pn, so I thought camping would be a great way to get out and explore much more. We also just got a car for the first time so we will be car camping and I’d like to start in a campsite with showers etc.
Our flat is small so we don’t have a lot of room to store lots of equipment. We have a storage locker so I can store some stuff away but I’m also nervous about buying tons of expensive equipment in case we end up disliking it and never using it again.
I’m not planning on cooking, just packing/buying sandwiches and snacks etc as I don’t want to buy tons of cooking equipment for reasons above (unless we genuinely love it and then it could change in future).
I’m lucky enough to be a SAHP so I feel like we could do tons of camping before my little one has to go to school. I just need to figure out how. I’ll also be doing this on my own during the week while my partner is working.
We’ll be travelling around South East England (UK).
Here are my basic questions:
We’re in England so the weather is often rainy. Can you fix a tarp over the tent to help keep the rain out without trees? Is there such a thing you can buy that goes over the tent? I keep seeing advice not to lay the tarp directly over the tent and to use poles, but what poles? I can’t figure this out. Is sealing the seams worthwhile to a new tent?
How do groundsheets work? Do you fix it to the tent somehow? My brain cannot understand this concept. Or if the tent comes with a footprint are they attached? Do you just peg it to the ground? Is there anything you should look out for on the ground aside from pointy rocks etc? Is it as simple as pegging it to the ground and the tent goes on top?
Sleeping - is it best to have separate sleeping bags and one double mat? Is that a thing? Or is it best to have two mats and two bags? Or should I go for 2 cots? I’m heavy (100kg) so I’d worry about it breaking.
Is a silk/cotton insert for the sleeping bag worth it?
Are there any tips/advice I need to be aware of with a toddler?
Since we are unlikely to buy cooking equipment - is there anything I haven’t thought of here? I plan to go to a supermarket to buy packaged food, bottles of water etc.
Despite not wanting to buy lots of ‘cooking’ equipment, is there anything that I should consider bringing aside from mugs or plastic plates dish soap etc?
Is it worth bringing a metal kettle/pot and oven gloves or something to heat water on a fire? Is a stove best to do this with rather than relying on a fire pit?
Do sites tend to have a place to wash up dishes etc?
Showering - do you tend to get dried in the shower cubicle? Is it big enough for a 3 year old to shower together? Would you go there in flip flops? What’s the best way to transport fresh clothes and shower stuff from the tent to the shower block? Plastic bag would do?
I plan to bring toys, battery twinkle lights, marshmallows etc to try to keep it fun. Torches and headlights etc. is there anything else non standard to consider bringing for a kid?
I’ll have our car to lock valuables away - is that enough? Do you have to ‘lock’ your tent when you’re away?
Is there any pearls of advice you could tell a beginner that isn’t covered by manuals, but that you learned through practical experience?
Is this a terrible idea to do on my own with a 3 year old as a complete novice? 😅

Im going to build a pc in a month and i already did a lot of research to pick best setup that is available in my region, but now im wondering if i should change anything in my list or no without increasing totall price by Alot. My main usage is gaming and ai(im going to build and train some small and medium size models) This is my list for now. The only part i think i should change is my cpu aio cooler because im going to overclock my cpu to 5.5 ish GHz and im afraid that my aio cooler is weak for that. Is there anything else i should change in my list? and I'm also wondering if i can keep everything the same and just swap my gpu with a asus rtx 4090 OC without facing any problems

I will be a new comer, yes another one, to the ARMA franchise and wondered if it was worth buying? Before you give me rushed feedback, I have seen a couple of reviews saying reforged is unplayable for those in the Oceanic region. I live about 2 hours north of Sydney, what ping can I expect and is it playable for me?
And, while I am at it... if it is playable, is there anyone looking to help me out by teaching me the game as a part of their squad?
