2024.05.14 03:18 hlewagastizholtijaz I mailed a CMS 1763 form 2 months ago to opt out of medicare part b yet am still receiving premium bills

Hello. A couple months ago I decided to opt out of Medicare part B since I get insurance from my employer (I had it in the first place because of my disability). I completed and mailed out the CMS 1763 form, and yet a few days ago I received a medicare premium bill.
Funny thing is, until now I was convinced before that the Center for Medicare did somehow see my CMS form. The last check I sent to them was a few days after mailing my CMS form. My bank says the money was never taken out of my account. So I figured they got the memo.
I am not sure how to proceed from here.

2024.05.14 03:18 Cyber_Ghost_1997 Nullification and interposition: Why did Abbott do it for Biden's Title IX amendments but pro-lifers had a huge issue with using it against Roe v. Wade?

Disclaimer: I have my disagreements with the abolitionists, sure but for the sake of the argument let's assume that their position on the matter presented in this post is absolutely correct and even consistent with the Christian Bible.
A common complaint against abortion abolitionists (Apparently T. Russell Hunter is a huge fan of this argument) is that back when Roe v. Wade was considered the law of the land, the US was "treating the Supreme Court like a god" for not passing abolition legislation in defiance of Roe v. Wade, an iniquitous decree by an iniquitous government. We should have just outright told SCOTUS to "pound sand" (that's putting it nicely, btw) because according to Bible passages like Isaiah 10:1-2, Romans 13:1-4 and many others, not doing so meant we were "obeying SCOTUS and not God", which the abolitionists slammed as a form of idolatry.
In case you're wondering what nullification and interposition even are, check out The Constitutional Case for Interposition and Nullification, as well as Defy Tyrants: Nullification and Interposition.
From what I understand, here we have Greg Abbott using a form of nullification and interposition (or at least nullification-I think interposition requires more than one person? Or do I have that flipped? u/Abolitionist-TRuss feel free to fact check me on this).
Here's the point I want to raise in relation to the abortion problem: How is it that pro-life Republican Christians are praising what Abbott did here (again, assuming that's what he's even doing here), but a majority of the pro-life movement had a huge issue with states defying Roe v. Wade and passing abolition bills in defiance of SCOTUS?
So, Greg Abbott is to be celebrated amongst Christians for doing this, when lot of those same Christians (who call themselves pro-life) raised a huge problem with doing something similar against Roe v. Wade?
What's the difference here? I want the pro-life Christians in this sub to explain themselves.

Hype trains: no consistent best player since prime Bron
First, a recap:
  • Bron enters the league in 03, with expectations that he match/surpass MJ. And...He actually does it. He cements his place as a GOAT-candidate by the tail end of his (still ongoing) career.
  • He becomes highly marketable, the face of the league, 10 Finals, 4 Finals MVPs, 4 reg. season MVPs, all-time career points leader, yadda, yadda, yadda.
But the NBA has always been driven by a few megastars with global appeal. Hence, once Bron finally showed he was past his prime, the NBA became desperate to annoint a new face...
  1. Giannis (hype train ended in 2021)
  2. Luka (hype train ended in 2022)
  3. Tatum (hype train ended in 2023)
  4. Jokic (hype train ended in 2024)
  5. ANT (hype train begins 2024...)
(Also, Wemby is being billed as "the future.")
Do you guys agree with this timeline? Are we gonna have a clear "best player" for at least 5 years straight ever again? Who is the media's current "golden boy"?

Im entering the AF with $30k in student loans. One of the main reasons I am joining is for my education. I want those loans paid off and I want to gain a Masters. If the GI bill covers my current loans, can I still use Tuition Assistance while AD?

2024.05.14 02:48 felja98001 ASUW May 13th Newsletter

Since there was many people who decided to confront, harass, or downright misinterpret the message, I am putting out this open letter addressing every concern addressed to me holistically:
Open Letter to Faculty, Staff, Students, and the General Community Addressing Concerns Regarding the May 13th ASUW Newsletter
NOTE: These are my thoughts and feelings solely as Jacob Feleke, not intending to represent the ASUW.
I wanted to take a moment to thank you all for sharing your concerns about the recent ASUW newsletter. Your insights are invaluable, and they resonate deeply with my own commitment to promoting inclusive dialogue within our university community.
  1. Malcolm X Quote: The acknowledgment of the sensitivity surrounding the use of a quote from Malcolm X, with the claims of anti-Semitic rhetoric in the past, struck a chord with me. As someone with Jewish ethnicity and Semitic myself, I fully understand the importance of ensuring that our messaging remains sensitive and respectful. However, I do want to include the fact that Malcom X began his transformation after his pilgrimage to Mecca in 1964, where he experienced and interacted with people from diverse racial backgrounds and realized faults within himself. Following his journey, Malcolm X underwent ideological shifts, moving away from separatist and divisive teachings. I do not include Malcom X to incite or aggravate, but rather to show the change people exhibit in their teachings. “Each of us is more than the worst thing we’ve done” - Bryan Stevenson, Just Mercy.
  2. Alleged Misuse of Power and Political Bias: I want to emphasize the significant impact of ASUW legislation, which, while not legally binding, influences every aspect of student life, from social functions to the allocation of student funds. As the democratic voice of students, ASUW engages the campus community through programming, services, and advocacy. We amplified the students who brought forward the divestment bill, which underwent rigorous (and a bit vociferous) questioning to reach its final form. The students who presented or supported the bill, some being Jewish themselves, were subjected to ad-hominem attacks being described as “self-hating” by students and described as “ignorant” by faculty and staff along with threats of not being able to find a job after college. Through their trials and tribulations, the approval of this bill by ASUW Student Senate and its presentation to the Board of Directors, and later the Board of Regents on May 9th, as Official Student Opinion underscores our commitment to representing student perspectives in our decision-making processes.
  3. Portrayal of Conflict and use of the word 'martyr': I fully appreciate the significance of promoting balanced and respectful discourse. The emphasis on understanding and addressing the concerns of all members of our community has been an issue as the entire campus, and the world is virtually polarized. From the Black Student Union sit-in at Gerberding Hall in 1968, and the May 1970 Antiwar Strikes, these events on our campus occurring simultaneously with the rest of the world did indeed cause students to be martyred for their activism. I emphasize the term ‘martyr’ as we see other universities today engaging in increasing repudiation and silencing of students, which I fear may escalate to lives lost if matters escalate from outside agitators, law enforcement, or universities themselves.
  4. Alleged Lack of Representation: The allegations regarding the lack of representation of Jewish students on the ASUW is quite frankly a matter that I am not at liberty to discuss, out of privacy for the students, nor is a well researched allegation. Again, as a semitic individual myself, with Jewish heritage, coupled with a Hebrew name ‘Jacob’, I share the dedication in ensuring that every student's voice is heard and represented within our student organizations. The calls for greater inclusivity and representation in the ASUW mirrors my own aspirations, for our own university community.
  5. Questioning of the Peaceful Dialogue: The skepticism about the peaceful nature of the encampment protests underscores the urgent need for transparency and accountability within activist movements. I am deeply committed to ensuring that the activism in the ASUW is conducted in a manner that respects the rights and perspectives of all individuals. The concerns serve as a reminder of the importance of upholding principles of nonviolence and inclusivity in our advocacy efforts. We all want to support activism, and it's crucial to make sure it's done in a way that respects everyone's rights and opinions. In the same breath, I will not condone or tell students to stand silent when being harassed.
In summary, I am truly grateful for everyone's thoughtful critiques and the dedication to fostering a more inclusive and respectful dialogue within our university community. Your insights have sparked important reflections on the implications of our actions and messaging, and I eagerly anticipate working together with everyone to address these concerns constructively.
Sincerely,
Jacob Feleke

2024.05.14 02:40 Brilliantmind1997 26 [F4M] Georgia,USA -Seeking a long term monogamous relationship (serious inquiries only)

This is my last attempt for awhile. *Do Not message or add me just to unfriend me or ghost me. * Greetings future partner ❤️ I'm still searching for you. I have to be honest and say that I am losing hope trying to find you. Please be somewhere. I want my search for a partner to be over. I'm seeking adventure in my life with someone I can call a forever partner. I'm tired of the loneliness and the sheltered lifestyle that I've lived. It would mean a lot of you could read through this post so that I could make sure we are compatible. Even if we start off as friends that would be fine.
Here's to new beginnings and new connections. PLEASE make sure you READ through the WHOLE POST also please be respectful when messaging me * *If you're the type to be impatient, block, or ghost easily, then save both of us the trouble and DO NOT message me! I'm not trying to come off as mean but I'd much rather you not message me if you're the type of person to do that. If something isn't working just let me know. We're all adults.
Greetings, I am seeking a long term relationship monogamous with the end goal being matrimony. I am not one for playing around and being used casually as it doesn’t suit me personally. Ideally I'd prefer a man that has his life already in place so that I can be able to share life with him and for him to take care of me. I would expect my future man to have a fiscally stable job and be able to support me and our future family. I wouldn’t be opposed to being a housewife. There are few reasons why I would like to work or work part time: 1) Being abandoned with nothing, 2) I want to feel fulfilled and not bored. Happy to discuss possible dynamics, I'm flexible. I would love a synergistic partnership where we are both able to mold our minds and fill our hearts with warm affection. I will be there to support you throughout your journey and celebrate every moment with you. I want you to be proud of you just as you are with me. I want to show you that you are truly cared for and appreciated by gestures of love such as massages and other forms of entertainment. I would expect the same from you as well. Even if we are both working adults we can still make our relationship work in the best way possible. I have seen this come out well for people who are dedicated and willing to make their relationships work. For a strong relationship to occur I would expect effective (transparent) communication from you. If you are going to be busy just be honest and let me know you won’t be able to talk to me.Also, if you need your space both mentally and physically let me know. I understand that we all have our lives to attend to but it is incredibly important for people in a relationship to be transparent when circumstances arise in a timely manner in order to avoid future conflict. If this relationship isn’t going to work I would expect you to tell me and not ghost or block me before giving me a reason why. We are all adults so I would expect nothing but maturity. Starting out I don’t want the pressure of sex to be pushed onto me. I’d rather let time tell in all of its glory.
Now onto my true introduction
My name is Angie and I'm from Georgia in the United States. I've been lonely for quite some time and find it hard to find a soulmate in IRL. What I'm looking for is someone who I can connect with and have wholesome conversations with. I want to be able to treat my future soulmate well just as much as they do me. The biggest part of a long lasting relationship is the ability to communicate openly without worry. I'd love it if my significant other has a dark sense of humor and continues to crack me up non-stop. As cheesy as it may sound I long for those late night calls and cute texts. I want for us to drive out the very best in each other; become our support system. A little bit about me is that I grew up in Florida and not too long ago moved to Georgia. I'm currently in college to become an RN but I'm also passionate about cosmetic chemistry and nutrition so I may seek to build my own business in the future. I'm passionate about science and theoretical applications especially within the medical field. I'd appreciate it if my partner is open minded about varying topics and welcomes healthy conversations. Appearance wise I'm open to seeing if we have a connection and feel as long as you are well groomed and practice basic hygiene you are good. Although, I must say that attraction is key in a relationship so I will have to go off on that as well. To add on, I enjoy playing video games, exercising (I've been slacking off lately), cooking and baking (vegan), playing board games, reading, exploring nature, playing sports (basketball and soccer) for fun, and trying new experiences. I hope to save up and travel someday. It would be nice for my partner to be able to set up our travel itinerary.
My Physical Description:
I am a black woman who’s twenty five years old (almost 26 in December) with Afro-Carribean, Japanese and Swedish ancestry. I’d still consider myself black presenting since that’s more along the lines of what I appear as phenotypically. I have dark brown curly hair (Mainly 3c type curls) and brown eyes. I am 5 '4 on the thicker spectrum (not at all obese but thick boned and have thunder thighs). I am trying to exercise more to become fit. I used to weight lift when I was younger but since then have lost lean muscle mass. Having a partner that is willing to work out together sometimes is rather rewarding. A man who has drive and appeal is incredibly sexy. I would also like to point out that I am curvy and noticeable in certain aspects (I’ll leave it up to you to decide).
*You have to be MINIMUM 21 to date me *
If distance will be a problem and you aren't willing to make it work then DON'T MESSAGE ME!!
If you will be too busy to pursue a relationship then DO NOT contact me!! * *Again, No ghosters or blockers!! Seeking a person who seeks a relationship with God and/or is open to one Must be free from venerial diseases and must be willing to get tested(will discuss) Bonus points if you're vegan Ideally I would like someone that is taller than me (I’m 5’4) I prefer a man that is fit or trying to be. I'd prefer someone who is fiscally stable and able to support the both of us* A big red flag for me is smokers. It isn't good for your health nor is it sexy to me.* It's important for me to point out that I want children in the future and need someone who may want that as well. If you're interested in how I look and want to know more about me, message me. Although I don’t make it a huge deal, I do prefer White and East Asian men. But I do love all types of men and welcome them. As stated before I emphasize communication and would prefer you to be honest and say if something is wrong instead of ghosting or blocking without stating the reason. Fair warning if I can be socially awkward sometimes and don't know what to talk about so please be patient with me as I'm learning to be better conversation wise

2024.05.14 02:27 readyallrow hey BWT, who are your favorite affordable personal trainers in manhattan?

i want to get back into a routine with strength training and know i'll be more effective if i have to show up somewhere at a certain time. i don't want or need to be BFFs with my trainer and definitely don't want someone who feels like they have to cheer me on, make small talk, dive deep into my personal history, etc. we can mutually respect what we're both there to do and keep it as straightforward and chill as possible. an ideal session for me would be an hour in the AM where they tell me "you're gonna do XYZ today", i do it, and they jump in as needed with form feedback, etc. attentive but giving me space, if that makes sense? i mostly just want them to talk me through a balanced routine maybe 2x a week at most. i'm pretty petite (4'11") so i'm thinking more along the lines of someone who can incorporate dumbbells, machines, straight curl bars, etc. and less so the normal sized barbells and stuff like that. proportionally it just doesn't work for me. i've done some classes thinking something like barry's would scratch the itch but i landed on wanting something that's normal strength training and not so much the HIIT type of classes that most places typically offer.
i work in college athletics and have a background in exercise science so none of this is new to me, but when you're coming out of a period of deep mental/physical burnout and your job entails telling a lot of other people what to do, sometimes you just want someone else to tell you what to do, so that's kind of where i'm at. i have a NYSC membership so i'm down to go just about anywhere in manhattan, but since i live on the UWS i'm partial to anywhere on or near the 1. affordability is a big factor too but i know that's subjective so i'd be interested to hear what you're paying for your trainer and if you work with or know someone who might fit the bill!

2024.05.14 02:23 phn0rd Deactivated for 2 extenuating lateness incidents in my second week – advice??

I've been driving for DoorDash for about a month now. In that time, I've maintained a solid 5.0 rating with 15+ customer reviews, a 99% completion rate and a 93% acceptance rate – and have taken almost 150 orders
I had 2 incidents occur back in my second week, while still learning. Somehow these incidents resulted in 3 separate Extreme Lateness violations... and now my account is deactivated, a week and a half later
The first involved an order assigned on Long Island in Rush Hour, that I was given 5 minutes to pick up, and then asked to drive all the way into New York City (specifically deep into Queens). I would have reassigned that, but had no idea how at that point. Making it across town while on the highway going the opposite way during rush hour was impossible in 20 minutes, let alone 5; I didn't pick up the order until 8:04 PM, and was given another 5 minutes to somehow get it all the way into NYC at 8:08 PM???? It was over an hour drive to the dropoff, so I don't know how they thought that was possible
That single delivery resulted in 2 separate violations – one for pickup and one for drop-off 😭
Then, about a week later, I had my second incident occur. This time, I picked up on time, was given an appropriate amount of time to get to the customer – I got there within 5 minutes of the window. But upon arrival, there was nowhere to park, the customer took forever to buzz me in, and the slow-running elevator meant I didn't drop-off until 12 minutes late.
12 minutes late – and that resulted in my 3rd violation.
I've been anxiously sitting with those on my account, after submitting disputes when they occurred – and the worst came to past today, with my account getting deactivated
I've submitted an appeal through the form. I explained the situation very clearly. I showed records of my ratings as well, talked about how much I love driving for DoorDash, asked for leniency given my second week on the app...
I don't know who will read it, I don't know how that will go. I'd like to try other channels if at all possible
Does anyone have any advice? Any numbers to call to explain my situation? Support numbers that can actually help? Corporate numbers to appeal to? Email addresses to write to?
I was really enjoying working for DoorDash, and doing great at it; I really don't want to end this career here

2024.05.14 02:18 Dry_Reputation5774 I’m a 28F and I haven’t eve had a proper first kiss yet and I feel like a loser

I’m a 28 year old female and I’m a late bloomer. I have never had a boyfriend before and I have never had sex. Hell, I haven’t had a proper first kiss yet. I spent most of my early adult years going to school, starting my career, moving to a new city and working on my mental health. I really was not in the right headspace to date or be in a relationship.
Once my mental health and self esteem improved, I decided that I was ready to put myself out there to meet friends and potential romantic partners. Therefore I didn’t start dating until I was 27. For the past year, I have met guys and formed friendships and have been going to social events in the city. I have been on a few dates here and there but I still I haven’t met a romantic partner yet. I have been really trying this year to put myself out there, go outside my comfort zone and meet people. I’m trying to be happy and confident in myself. I think I am a desirable and attractive person who has a lot to offer.
I am an emotional person and I have always thought of intimacy such as kissing, touching, sex etc as something I wanted to do with someone I trust and have some sort of connection with. I have been kissed by a few guys as I have been dating but it’s been without my consent and I didn’t reciprocate the kiss. So I don’t consider any of those my first kiss.
I do want to have sex but I am holding off on having sex until I form an emotional connection with someone rather than engaging in casual sex. Ideally I want to have sex within the context of a relationship. Casual sex does not appeal to me whatsoever. I don’t shame anyone for engaging in casual sex but the thought of a stranger touching my body in a sexual manner makes me uncomfortable. We don’t have to be in love but for me, I need to feel safe and be able to trust the person I’m with.
I am working with a sex therapist and a dating coach to help me as I navigate the dating scene and establish my boundaries.
I really want to experience all forms of intimacy but I still haven’t met someone where I felt completely comfortable and safe with them. I tend to be very hard on myself about my lack of experience. I am a successful person in other areas of my life: education, career, finances, home etc. But since I don’t have much experience with intimacy I tend to think I’m a loser.

2024.05.14 02:15 imatmydesknow [MW3] My Activision account was hacked and I am not permanently banned from MW3/Warzone/MW2 - my acct was 14 yrs old and I am a casual middle aged player. Am I Screwed?

Gonna try and make this short. I was an avid COD player starting around 2010-2011. I played every release leading up to about 2017 when my PS4 bit the dust and i just thought of using my time doing other things. fast forward to xmas this past year my lady and i decide to buy a ps5, shortly after the new mw3 remaster came out and i purchased that. i do not play the campaign ever i only play multiplayer, more specifically i basically only play TDM or hardcore TDM. My kdr MAY be at 1.00 but honestly its probably is lower. i can get in a match and go 3-24 easily depnding on the map lol, im a middle aged man. im out here trying to have guy time not go pro.
In april i noticed i had random friends on my friends list that were in chinese/japanese characters, at first i was like how did those get there, but then i thought maybe someone switched the name on their account from my old friends from my playing days. to be safe i deleted the old friends outside of who i play with currently, including the strange accounts.
Well last week i try to log on and i do not get online. so I assume the serve it down, but after 3 days still not connecting. this lead me to investigate. to which i find i have been banned from MW3, Warzone, and MW2. I appealed it, trying to explain the situation withint the 1000 character account but that did not work and now i have no more appeals. I aslo noticed my activision account was connected to a random steam account. i have no idea what steam is, as i am a middle aged man as i have said. activision has not seemed to care.
Oddly enough i went to vent on twitter and to my surprise hundred of bots came trying to get me to pay this account or that account to regain my account back. which im definitely not doing that. I assume that is a hustle for hackers.
My question is, is there anything i can do or anyone i can actually contact outside of the appeal form? LIke an email or someone to actually explain the situation and not rely on AI to make a decision on the status of my long running account? I literally just purchased the 420 cheech and chong bundle too.
I have screen shots and more via my facebook post i made last week about the situation that shows the freidn requests and my appeal band. The other interesting this is i stopped getting activision emails, so i was unaware of the punishment until i researched it.

2024.05.14 02:11 Alternative-Hair-754 Birth Control

Note: I'm Catholic and struggling. I posted this to Catholicism and it was removed. Feeling lost about this whole issue.
I'd like to preface this post by saying that I'm a practicing Catholic who has been hurt by this teaching and is struggling to make any sense of it. This post is also geared towards women's experiences of Church doctrine. While men can empathize, they will never be able to fully understand the experience of women in relation to pregnancy. I'm not looking to debate here. This isn't made in bad faith:
As someone who is discerning the next steps in their life, I've been considering what a Catholic marriage might look like and if it's my calling. As it stands right now, a Catholic marriage sounds like a grueling death sentence for some women. My main issue has to do with the Church's stance on birth control and (after conversations with priests in my life) clergy's quiet understanding that teachings related to it aren't very sustainable.
I'm a woman and without getting into my personal life, have struggled with fear of pregnancy. For this reason, I've made the determination that staying on birth control is the healthiest option for me. The Catholic Church, however, would beg to differ. If I were to get married, my only options would be to go off the pill and stay celibate or adopt NFP and live my life in crippling fear. That being said, I'm not opposed to having one or two children if I can get better - I do know that I can't remain open to having children anytime I have sex. This isn't only a mental health concern, but related to my material means. I do not work a job that allows me paid parental leave and I have very few days off. I'd have to work through each and every pregnancy and leaving my job would mean not making enough money to provide for children.
Obviously, getting married is not for everyone, but Catholic marriages impose an unbelievable amount of restrictions on the life of the woman. I've read Humanae Vitae and it makes the weak case that outlawing birth control actually upholds the value of the woman. As a woman - I firmly disagree with this. The insistence on my openness to pregnancy makes me feel like a vessel for life, like some kind of livestock who's ultimate goal is to breed. Appeals to what is 'natural' have long been held as a fallacious form of argumentation and while a female animal's most 'natural' purpose is to reproduce, equating this to the life of a human woman is an altogether weak and degrading argument.
Further, allowing NFP but not condoms or birth control is obviously contradictory (and not in the good way like Christ's death on the cross). Every method of birth control allows for a chance that pregnancy might occur. If we are allowed to abstain from sex or use NFP, it follows that any method of birth control would be permissible. Is it really 'natural' to abstain from sex with your spouse?
I see this doctrine hurt, not only me, but women around me. Women who struggle with medical issues are forced to live celibately with their spouse or risk their life with a pregnancy. The inequality is staggering. We are expected to give up our lives for a dangerous pregnancy that we are given no alternatives (aside from abstinence and degrading our relationships with our spouses) to prevent. I feel exhausted as I try to follow the Church's mental gymnastics to justify this doctrine and feel ready to give up on either love itself or the Church.
This might not be the best place to share my thoughts, but I want to do so in case there are any other women who struggle with this. I want to be more open about how this doctrine hurts with those around me and in my community, but speaking about it is difficult. I have chatted with a number of priests and it's clear to me that even they struggle with this issue.

2024.05.14 02:04 sinklayre Wrongfully suspended from platform

Had Top Dasher for May, went to log in Saturday before last, got hit with a random facial scan check. The app was super buggy (iPhone 14 ProMax)c the screen went white with the spinning red circle for about 2 minutes. Finally, it popped up and asked me to look left/right. Then, it said I failed my identification check and that my account was suspended. I called support, they were quite understanding, sent me an email with the ID check appeal form. She explained they would do a manual verification and that everything would be fine after a delay of a few days. After I filled out the appeal, I received an email stating that the suspension stands, they will not give me another chance. This is the FIRST time I’ve ever had an identification check, I’ve been on the platform for 7 weeks. What gives? Should I contact a lawyer? Is there another number I can call or email address to write?

2024.05.14 01:45 edminzodo [QCrit] DEATH MIRROR science fantasy, 90k words (1st attempt)

Hi there! This is my first attempt at querying for this novel. I'm not 100% sure of comps so I've left those slots blank for now. I feel as though I could add a lot more information about the plot, but I've tried to keep it intriguing. Any advice would be much appreciated!
Dear AGENT,
I am excited to share with you the first chapter of DEATH MIRROR, a science fantasy novel which would appeal to readers who have enjoyed [COMP1] and [COMP2]. I'm currently a PhD student studying ancient history, and much of my inspiration comes from the regions I research. DEATH MIRROR is additionally inspired by Big Fish by Daniel Wallace, Stardust by Neil Gaiman, and Fire and Blood by George R. R. Martin. [More agent specific information here].
DEATH MIRROR unfolds in a barren world of royal intrigue, familial betrayal, and the quest for legacy. King Alder of Engels comes to power after murdering his own brother and nephew. He soon becomes haunted by the Death Mirror, an artefact in which the user can see their exact vision at their time of death. Alder grapples with his impending demise while his children fight to become the next ruler of Engels.
As Alder lies on his deathbed, his three youngest children disappoint him in different ways. Princess Joan, his only daughter, is a political schemer and coward, while Prince Daniel, the pious and self-obsessed heir apparent, and Prince Marcus, the brooding and ruthless younger twin, both fall short of Alder's expectations. Meanwhile, the banished Crown Prince Dominic, believed by Alder to be the assassin in his vision of death, unexpectedly returns to claim the throne.
The narrative weaves through complex relationships and alliances, revealing layers of deception and hidden agendas. Dominic's ascent to power following Alder's suspicious death sparks tension among his siblings, with Daniel and Marcus vying for control while Joan aligns herself with the new king. Dominic soon alienates his allies by searching for his supposed long-dead cousin (Alder's nephew), in the hope that the lost prince will take the burden of the crown away from him. Factions begin to form, and, in the ensuing power struggle, Dominic grapples with the weight of kingship and his own vision of death.
At 90,000, DEATH MIRROR is complete and ready for your consideration. The novel is an exploration of human nature, filled with complex characters, intricate relationships, and high-stakes drama. It delves into themes of destiny, choice, and redemption, offering readers a journey through a world where the line between right and wrong is often blurry.
Thank you for considering my submission.

Nah, don't flatter yourself. You aren't known in Russia
Abstract

Overview
Comment from here:
Nah, don't flatter yourself. You aren't known in Russia.
See the following:
You will see that I’m cited in about a dozen or more Russian articles, beginning in A51 (2006).
Anyway, it is not “myself”, e.g. you will see that my legal name is reverse anagram for Bill Smith, aka “American John Doe”, which means “anonymous”, that I am concerned about, rather, I thought or envisioned that people in Russia were debating the HumanMolecule or HumanChemistry views possibly form some manuscript I written or given to Georgi Gladyshev?
The following script dialogue, written by Andrew Walker, key terms bolded, exemplifies the situation well:
  • Somerset: Who are you, John? Who are you really?
  • John Doe: What do you mean?
  • Somerset: Well, I mean, at this stage, what harm can it do to tell us a bit about yourself?
  • John Doe: Doesn't matter who I am. Who I am means absolutely nothing. (conversationally) You need to stay on your left up here.
This “who I am means nothing” resonates with me well.
  • Mills: So where are we heading?
  • John Doe: You'll see.
  • Mills: We're not just going to pick up two more dead bodies, are we, John? That wouldn't be shocking enough. You've got newspapers to think about, yeah?
  • John Doe: Wanting people to listen...you can't just...tap them on the shoulder anymore. You have to hit them with a sledgehammer. Then you'll notice you've got their strict attention.
  • Mills: But the question is: what makes you so special that people should listen?
  • John Doe: I'm not special. I've never been exceptional. This is, though. What I'm doing. My work.
This is the key section. The “work” that is being done is exceptional, not me. “When a force moves a body through a unit distance, work is done” (Clausius, On the Mechanical Theory of Heat (pg. 1), 76A (1879) English translation by Water Browne). To understand this, which I‘m sure you won’t, you have to understand that the force that moves us to do or perform work, comes from “behind us”, the same way it does for chemicals in a heated ☀️ chemistry 🧪 beaker. All of this was explained in JohannGoethe’s novel ElectiveAffinities.
Once I had read this novel, in A51 (2006), after I had already calculated the 26-element formula (A47/2002) for HumanMolecule, presently cited at Harvard’s BioNumbers here (standard) and here (empirical), and drafted a 3-volume Human Thermodynamics “manuscript”, I decided or rather could “feel” that it was my duty to Goethe to write the world’s fist HumanChemistry textbook, published in A52 (2007).
Now, to clarify, having already noted that Goethe said the following: “not many kinds words were vouchsafed me about that [ ElectiveAffinities, 146A/1809] novel” on 18 Jan 127A (1827), 18–years after his novel was published, at the age of 78, I very clearly realized that I was writing to or rather “for the future”, and tried to write ✍️ each page of Human Chemistry to be readable to minds existive a 1,000-years from now. Compare: TheParty.
  • Somerset: Your work, John?
  • John Doe: Yes.
  • Mills: See, I...I don't...I don't see anything special about it, John.
  • John Doe: That's not true.
  • Mills: No, it is true. And the funny thing is, all this work...two months from now, no one's gonna care, no one's gonna give a shit. No one's gonna remember.
This one resonates also well with me. I’m sure that if you were speaking freely, you would tell me the same thing, such as: “no one gives a shit about your human molecule, human chemistry, or HumanChemThermo theories in Russia!”
Certainly this may very well be true, particularly for russian language sub members, who likely have never stepped foot in a science classroom.
The point, however, is that the “work” Goethe did, in writing ✍️ ElectiveAffinities (146A/1809), and the “work” I did in writing the 818-page two-volume ✍️ Human Chemistry (A52/2007), and the “work” that American chemical engineer William Fairburn did in writing his 55-page booklet Human Chemistry (41A/1914), which discusses the “entropy” of reactive “human chemical elements”, aka person = HumanMolecule, and the “work” that Kevin Walker did in writing ✍️ the novel turned film) Seven (A40/1995), with which we are now employing in conversation, is something that is “conserved” in the universe, according to Clausius.
This “conservation” of work, however, is something that I’m sure you will never understand, because your mindset is predisposed to defining me as “rude and entitled“ and I guess a nobody in Russia?
Yet if we compare the same question, about letter origin, asked in the previous 5-days, at the following three language subs: learn_arabic, German, Syriac, visually summarized here, we will see that I we have very polite and respectful dialogue.
The problem with your Russian sub, presumably, is that because my photo was shown in the article along side of: Euler, Poincare, Willard Gibbs, Nikolay Bogolyubov (Никола́й Боголю́бов), Lars Onsager, Euler, Sadi Carnot, and Clausius, it set the mood off wrong, resulting in everyone attacking me?
  • John Doe: You can't see the whole complete act yet. But when this is done... when it's finished...it's gonna be... People will barely be able to comprehend. But they won't be able to deny.
  • Mills: Could the freak be any more vague? I mean, as far as master plans go, John--
I‘m sure you will like to call me a freak too? But as to “you can’t see the whole complete act yet”, this is the situation with the typical person. That most people, aside from a great minds like HenryAdams, cannot “see” 👀 the complete act yet, is evidenced by the fact that there is one member of the ElectiveAffinities sub, launched: 3 May A69 (2024).
In short, the work that I am doing now, and the work that Goethe did 215-years ago, or the work that Nietzsche did 146-years ago, in his Human, All Too Human, aphorism #1, shown below, is work produced by a “force” that only the future, possibly centuries from now, but more likely a millennia from now, will come to realize, as self-evident.

Nietzsche Human, All Too Human
German English
Chemie der Begriffe und Empfindungen Chemistry and the Notion of the Feelings
Die historische Philosophie dagegen, welche gar nicht mehr getrennt von der Naturwissenschaft zu denken ist, die allerjüngste aller philosophischen Methoden, ermittelte in einzelnen Fällen (und vermuthlich wird diess in allen ihr Ergebniss sein), dass es keine Gegensätze sind, ausser in der gewohnten Übertreibung der populären oder metaphysischen Auffassung und dass ein Irrthum der Vernunft dieser Gegenüberstellung zu Grunde liegt: Philosophical problems, in almost all their aspects, present themselves in the same interrogative formula now as they did two thousand years ago: how can a thing develop out of its antithesis, e.g. the reasonable from the non-reasonable, the "animate from the inanimate" ["sentient in the dead", Hollingdale (1986)], the logical from the illogical, altruism from egoism, disinterestedness from greed, truth from error? The metaphysical philosophy formerly steered itself clear of this difficulty to such extent as to repudiate the evolution of one thing from another and to assign a miraculous origin to what it deemed highest and best, due to the very nature and being of the "thing-in-itself." The historical philosophy, on the other hand, which can no longer be viewed apart from physical science, the youngest of all philosophical methods, discovered experimentally (and its results will probably always be the same) that there is no antithesis whatever, except in the usual exaggerations of popular or metaphysical comprehension, and that an error of the reason is at the bottom of such contradiction.
— There is, strictly speaking, neither unselfish conduct, nor a wholly disinterested point of view. Both are simply sublimations in which the basic element seems almost evaporated and betrays its presence only to the keenest observation. All that we need and that could possibly be given us in the present state of development of the sciences, is a chemistry of the ‘moral’, ‘religious’, ‘aesthetic’ conceptions and feeling, as well as of those emotions which we experience in the affairs, great and small, of society and civilization, and which we are sensible of even in solitude. But what if this chemistry established the fact that, even in its domain, the most magnificent results were attained with the basest and most despised ingredients? Would many feel disposed to continue such investigations? Mankind loves to put by the questions of its origin and beginning: must one not be almost inhuman in order to follow the opposite course?”
To repeat, and conclude, my reply to this Russian languages sub member:
All that we need and that could possibly be given us in the present state of development of the sciences, is a chemistry of the ‘moral’, ‘religious’, ‘aesthetic’ conceptions and feeling, as well as of those emotions which we experience in the affairs, great and small, of society and civilization, and which we are sensible of even in solitude.”
Friedrich Nietzsche (77A/1878), Human, All Too Human (§: Aphorism #1)
The day that people of the future, teach, as standard required learning, the following subjects:
  1. Moral chemistry
  2. Religious chemistry
  3. Aesthetic chemistry
  4. Emotional chemistry
  5. Feelings chemistry
  6. Social chemistry
Is the day that force, behind the “work” of Goethe, Nietzsche, Adams, Fairburn, and myself, will be realized.
The year this occurs will be when Goethe’s OTT cipher (or Otto cipher) becomes accepted common knowledge.
Horus years?
I will but note, however, that we still are dating our calendar years to the birth of Horus (aka Jesus), the solar 🌞 falcon god, who dates back more than 5,000 years, to attested to via the 5700A (-3745) solar Milky Way cow yoke HeiroType: ∩ = 10 (I).

Thus, who knows, maybe in 5,000 years from now, if we remain in the “dark ages”, St. Ottilia “blind ages” as Goethe says we are now presently in, we will still be dating our calendar years to this same solar falcon god?
