I'm returning from about a 4 year hiatus and am trying to get back into Crucible. Ever since I reinstalled sound has been very screwed up for me: practically everything in the game (PvP or PvE) sounds like it's directly behind me - gamesounds aren't directional at all. Like I had a match where I was in my super, Hunter popped a Golden Gun and I instantly flipped around to try and kill him because I thought he was behind me . Only he was on the other side of the map in the direction I was facing. It's really really weird and I can't find any info on why this is happening or how to fix it.

Aliens invaded earth and they choose Australia first because the climate was very similar to their home planet. A group of teen soldiers are sent cause the aliens are smaller so they did some surgery on the teens to make them look like aliens. They were enlisted after they won a paintball tournament or something like that. That’s the first book. I remember the teens use guns with gas pellets, one of the female soldiers calls the lieutenant with an Australian accent she is also revealed to be working with the aliens. One member of the unit is called “monster” cause he’s big. I remember one scene where the unit tossed a grenade on an enemy unit and one of the enemies was dying and the human lieutenant decided to sing him a song before the alien died. One time they were at an enemy airfield and the artillery was set up in the human lines but they had no vision so the teen humans were surveillance and directed the shots for the artillery.

Today I reached just 5 mins before they close the gate , there were not many students outside . I reached the center and got checked . First I was scared coz I didn't check admit card today and just bought the yesterday one , but it was fine. Then they start frisking me and they found my gun . They scolded me there but I just shoot everyone there while saying fuck NTA and postpone exams till June and made it mandatory for teachers to make total of a student above 750 . Thank me later 🥰

Synopsis :
In the year 1928, the Chinese warlord era has been ranging on for more than a decade. Tearing the nation apart to multiple fiefdoms ruled over by local warlords. Who fought each other more times than not.
China is being threatened by foreign powers, China can move forward is if united.
Reunification has been attempted many times in this era, but so far all have failed.
But a radical solution was proposed, that the most influential warlords will sponsor a fighter on their behalf. To fight in a brutal tournament, with the last fighter left standing determines who rules.
The 16 major Chinese warlords have agreed with these terms.
Roster :
IP Man - a well known & accomplished Wing Chun master from Guangdong province. Teaching his fighting style to those within his home city. His skill attracts challenges from other martial artists, that he has a tendency to accept.
Shi Jianqiao - daughter of a killed military officer turned assassin. After her father was killed by a rival warlord, she trained and dedicated herself to revenge. Leaving a trail of death until she can kill the one who took her father.
Konstantin Petrovich Nechaev - former officer in imperial Russia, during the civil war he sided with the whites. After the Bolsheviks won, he like many others took up mercenary work in China. Where he became highly sought after for his combat experience, working for various warlords.
Du Yuesheng - notorious gangster, enforcer, and drug lord in the Shanghai triads. More than willing to get his own hands dirty, if it guarantees he ends up on top. While he does have experience taste, he still enjoy the occasional bloodshed.
Gao Shuxun - loyal elite soldier serving under the infamous Shi Yousan, played a role in burning down an ancient Shaolin monasteries on his orders. Though in secret Gao save a few ancient shaolin martial manuscripts for later use.
Ma Zhongying - born to the infamous Ma family clique in China northwest, raised on the battlefield since he was teenager. Made a name for himself by leading massacres and hunting bandits on west China frontier.
Morris Abraham Cohen - the personal British bodyguard of Sun Yat Sen himself. Fought off multiple assassination attempts on Sun’s life. Nicknamed "Two gun" because he is skilled enough to duel wield pistols in combat.
zhang xueliang - son of the warlord of Manchuria, a natural born strategist. Unlike his father, he is pragmatic enough to learn from non Chinese tactics and training methods. Gaining him notable victories, he is also a practicing swordsman.
A/N:
only 8 fighters on the roster for now .
Like my other tenkaichi AUs, they all take place in the same very violent timeline.
In universe after the original Oda Nobunaga's tenkaichi in 1600, it set a precedent for future tournaments of a similar nature to settle internal disputes. Inspiring future tournaments both in & out in Japan through the centuries.
From Korea to France, to America & Britain, ect.
Basically instead of outright rejecting what Oda did, a few thought Oda might have been on to something.
The 1928 Chinese tenkaichi in-universe is considered the first "major" tournament of the 20th century. With the American tournament occurring just 5 years later in 1933.

Hear me out on this, been thinking about this concept for a while. not sure on the grenade pistol since that one can be a cheat or too OP carrying way more grenades.
The concept is this for regular sidearms that makes it fair and not too OP or nerfed. . .

• You can only pick up the same sidearm you carry.
• Accuracy is the same as Exo-suit where its along the side of the cross-hair center.
• You have now 2 guns but also takes twice as longer to reload.
• One handed perk is will be optional depend on the sidearm.
• Hip shooting will depend on the sidearm.
• Ammo you carry will be shared or equalized depends on the mags it carry but it won't doubled.

So I’ve been checking out nj once a week . And potlord was really rolling around drunk waving guns looking for lush? What the hell happened . Lush looking like the most level headed one in all of NJ is a massive underdog win and I’m here for it now

I would like to thank y'all for such big teamwork and help with past . lists. this list has gotten few minor improvements and two new sections. I hope that this little tradition of ours will last forever! thank you for being you Battlefield community! and Im really happy that I can be part of this OG community!!!

This list may contain fixes and also additions or any smaller improvements. These may differ also by platforms and users and etc. so for you it might not be difference or change/fix. But most of them are verified and if not. I will mention it. Verification process is based on how much users reports these stealth changes (if vast majority does) then these changes will advance to in-game verification process. (This one may differ by: platform, settings and etc.)
I will also try to avoid obvious bugs. But 100% for sure I will accidentally include few. Or even accidentally add some twice. There is chance that I may also include few which has been included in official patch notes by DICE.
I will also add some bugs that are also long persistent and haven’t been fixed for ages.

I am 31 female I must prewarn you i failed grammar and spelling I was married at 17 and he was 24 i believe..... it was a nightmare relationship Let's give him a name Satan sounds right Satan lied about a heart condition he was telling me and everyone we knew he didn't have long to live if he didn't get a new heart .But also would mention that he couldn't have surgery or he would die. I would ask him to let me come with him to the next doctor's appointment but that never happened And when my daughter was born he told my parents he had the chance to get a heart .but claimed he didn't want to miss his daughters birth.That's when my parents knew he was lying about having a bad heart. Satan lied about smoking I caught him smoking he promised he would never do it again but someone i knew saw him smoking. He promised again but i knew he still was because of the smell in the car. And he would yell at me if I accused him. He lied about being or virgin or not being one (before me ) he kept changing his story I started having kids with him right away. I had no license. And he was never home When he was home it was to take me to get groceries and then s*x.. after he would leave and hang out with his friends or work. Even on holidays he would leave me alone with the kids to hang out with his friends. He never changed a diaper and was always on his phone . I remember seeing a txt from a girl who wanted to go out .. he said it was super old text and just a "Friend" I wanna say 4 to 5 year into our marriage satan confessed that he didn't love me when we got married. We had bed bugs and cockroaches that he refused to do anything about. I tried but had no money or a car to do anything about them. But I got raid when I could and did my best I was youngggg and had three kids with this man .. I stayed with him for 11 years My mental health took a dive right off a cliff. And I emotionally check out of the relationship before I knew it. Something inside me was breaking.. I felt lonely..I asked for an open relationship. My mistake was taking the slightest hint that he would agree to it and jumping on it right away. I slept with a guy . I do regret that very much. Satan came home and we went back and forth and back and forth talking .He even took a gun out and threatened to kill himself. I stopped eating. I was checked out emotionally. On Christmas Eve which is my birthday .. satan kicked me out We had previously discussed me moving out a month later but he wanted me out right away. The next thing I regret is believing his promise that he would let me see the kids whenever I wanted. I moved in with my brother. Got a job and apprenticeship to because a tattoo artist. My mental health was still shit. Satan was being nice enough and seemed to be letting me see the kids. My cousin was getting married I went to the wedding satan took me .. it was agreed that I take the kids after to hang out. But he told me no and drove me back to my brother's and demanded to have my phone.He Told me it was my mothers idea that he take my phone from me.(lie) There was a struggle and he got it of course cuz I'm a small girl that has barely eaten for weeks .. and he's a big guy . He tells me to get out of the car .. I don't..he gets out and pulls me out of the car and throws me on the ground. I called the police unfortunately no eye witnesses He told me that I would never see or talk to our kids again. He hacked into my email and made sure I couldn't get into any of my social media. It was a nightmare. My brother called and warned him that was he was doing was illegal. At this point I believed my parents were against me because satan made me believe that. He was making sure that I was alone. I didn't see my kids for months I also found out about two weeks after I was gone he had a gf .. he was telling the kids that was their new mommy. Satan's lawyer called me and set up a meeting Sadly I had no lawyer and no way to afford one. I signed the most messed up agreement of all time ..... After I signed it he let me talk to my kids Satan agreed to let me see them but then he started making up rules and taking away my visitation for no reason. So I called my parents for help . They hired me a lawyer . From there is got better little by little and my mental health got better and better also. And I got to see my kids I could write a book One time he almost ran over our son with his car He ask the kids to keep secrets He told them things that kids should never know He lied to them He told them I didn't love them. He told my son I was going to jail and that scared my son so bad. There's sooo many things It was two years of him just using the kids to hurt me. And he has no idea to this day how much he fucked them up forever. He will never admit that he did any wrong or hurt the kids. But I have the kids every other week now And iv been dating an amazing man for over a year now. Satan is also engaged And iv never been closer to my kids It was a journey getting back to each other but here we are.

I just unlocked the EBR and 3-4 body shots at 30-40ish feet seems crazy

So I have a main product, that comes with a second product/accessory in multiple quantities. Can anyone recommend a bundle app that has say 3 main offers, 1 product + 3x second product, 1 product + 10x second product etc.
For example say the main product is a paintball gun + various quantities of paintballs as the bundles. Please help I'm stuck lol..

I had a great time with this 1997 game. The game was easy to learn, it uses an action point system similar to the original XCom or Xenonauts, so I slid in real easy. While the opening cave serves as a check on if your built character is "viable", I did half follow a guide. The timer ticking down was my biggest apprehension going in; it's actually very generous, I wasted a ton of time reading skill books and healing with plenty of time to spare.
The #1 thing about this game is how incredibly atmospheric it is, so eeriey and mysterious. That opening cut-scene was great. I saw plenty of 50s theming with the robots and greaser jackets and such. There's also how sadistically gruesome the combat is. I vividly remember my first combats against super-mutants, with them zapping me in half and setting me on fire. But firing full auto into someone at point blank is incredibly satisfying. Crippling limbs really helped to keep the combat interesting, and the flavor text accompanying attacks was some Matt Mercer style cool.
The skill system for this game is a bit wonky. Some skills were pointless. I pickpocked half the people I met without putting any points into the Stealing skill (because I had high Agility), and it didn't effect my Karma. While Repair and Lockpicking are essential skills. First Aid was great for giving me XP and free healing, while I never received a crippled limb to use Doctor on. The way the game handles weapon progression is that Energy & Heavy Weapons represent your end-game capabilities (if you started with those skills, you'd have none to use).
I love how weapons are handled. You load and unload guns, and put in anti-personnel and armor-piercing bullets to fit the situation. I would pick up enemy guns, yank out the clip, then drop them.
The quests were fun and memorable, with variable solutions, and a lot you can talk through.
One of my favorite memories in this game is investigating The Glow, with the sense of danger, discovery, reactivity to my skills, while managing my radiation levels, and getting end-game equipment at the bottom just by chucking a few pulse grenades .
The first time I fought death claws, I was well prepared with a Plasma Rifle (despite no spare ammo for it), and a tip from some geezer on where to shoot it. That went alright. But, soon after I got my Power Armor, a gang enforcer beat me to death with his bare hands. It turned out, he was hopped up on Psycho and had spiked knuckles. Came as a real shock.
Overall, I had a great time. I would say the end-game areas were some of my most frustrating experiences: Force-fields in the military base, and being locked out of peacefully infiltrating the Cathedral just because I had talked to the Followers of the Apocalypse. Sorting through my inventory and packing loot onto companions to carry was a real chore; I can see why the guide said to forget the loot and gamble to buy anything you want. Sometimes, allies felt like herding cats, but they aren't as bad as people make it out to be (just respect lines of fire, and don't use a chaingun unless you want everything in front of you dead).

I’ve had the thought of giving up lots of times but some how I pull through and keep going like nothing happened But there is a point where some one can’t take it no more and just wants it to end. You probably wounder what would make me feel such a way so I’ll try out it in short.
I was bullied from a kid up to start of college. My dad died from heart attack when I was 6, my mam went mental and was in hospital for years.my grandad died when I was 8 Then my dog died same time, then had to go live with my nana for years at new school o got bullied at again . Uncle died of cancer at 10 Shortly after my nana died from Amonia, at 12 then had to live with my other nana. My brother took hard core drugs and beat me all the time. Caused me to break a toe and my jaw and cause me to loose a testicle in that phase, round about now my mam is out of hospital and different , she isn’t the same mam I had before my dad died. Struggled for years to get my mam to settle down in new home we had to move 4 times and still struggle to this day. More pets died and then my brother moved out and my sister moved too because of bullying and I’m looking after my mam by my self and have been for years I’m now 21 and never had a gf or sex and don’t have any friends no more. Had death threats and my moped damaged and almost stolen my home attacked and followed by a crack head threatining to kill my family. Police don’t do any thing about him and then all of a sudden he makes a lie and calls police to say something insanely stupid to make me out as a terrorist. This is the crack head that threatened to kill me by the way and he gets 20 odd swat armed response to raid my home and point guns at my head and so on. I have anxiety ptsd paranoi depression I’m basically becoming anarexit because I never eat I’m insanely lonley and have no one around me. I’m burnt out aiching all over. Over worked as I work 13 hours 6 days a week. Get 3-4 hours sleep a day and have had tooth aitch for 5 odd years now since dental care in uk is so shit. I was suicidal after all this and went to a bridge to hang my self. I wrote a letter and brought a noose with me and everything but when I got there I just stared at the bridge for hours and cried in my hands begging god to give me a reason to keep going. I hope there is a reason to keep going and god will send a savour to me but im really struggling here. I’ve heard it all before but really would any one els stuck around if it was this bad for them too ?

Dear Artificers,
Please try and cut back on the shopping for misc items to make bombs and guns. You are an artificer, and I am not going to let you roll to make them. You already have access to bombs and railguns and the like, they are your spell slots. You don't have spells, you have gadgets that act as spell effects, and you are doing a shopping trip to make a "spell scroll". You don't need to beat around the bush buying rope, clay pots, ball-bearings and flasks of oil, all to make a bomb for 3g so you can then try and argue that you have everything to make a bomb and crafting one is something you should be able to do. You definitely can create one, and you can do it daily for pretty much free at 5th level. It is called Fireball, and it does 8d6 fire damage (maybe a few d6 more if you put a little extra spice in it).
Just add that puppy to your spell list, and when you go to use it say something like "i pull out this cast iron orb with a twine coming out of it. Light the end and hurle it at XXX... everyone within 20ft give me a Dex Saving throw!" Not only did you not be the meme, but you also added a little roleplay zip to combat!
(And if you are one of those crafting focused characters this bit below is also for you)
And if you want to still do the scavenger hunt/shopping trip, that is fine too . But please say what your end goal is before you start, that way you don't buy a bunch of garbage at 5% of what an appropriate spell scroll for what you want would cost. And if I let you use a skill check roll, it would be to get it at a discount. Then we can speed up the whole process, and we can all get back to the session as a group.
Having DMed far more Artificers who try to do this than not, I have considered baning the class (and I don't want to ban a class for a few rotten eggs, when there are broken subclasses far more worthy of a ban/tweek). Not yucking anyone's yum, it is fine as a meme but at the table it is pretty eye roll worthy and you aren't the most clever player ever for "just coming up with it"

I'm always looking for ways to improve my writing and would greatly appreciate some feedback on my current work in progress (I'm currently between two). It has been workshopped and edited, but I think there is still room for improvement.

Chapter One
Two things needed to happen very quickly if Alexis Bradshaw wanted to stay alive:
First, her boyfriend, William, had to be willing to forgive her long enough to meet up and talk. Second, her drug dealer, Malcom, had to agree to lend her his gun so that she could put a bullet in William’s head before he could put one in hers.
Which, of course (if Alexis was doing the math correctly, which she most certainly was) was almost completely 100% impossible (99.998% if she was being specific). Because William had never once been the forgiving type, hence why Alexis had cheated on him. And Malcom, forever paranoid, never let the gun out of his sight.
Which meant she was dead. So dead, in fact, that it was almost worth walking to Easton Cemetery and reserving her plot right now. A small piece of land underneath a willow tree towards the back. Far enough away that people wouldn’t care to vandalise it, but in a pretty enough location that people would still enjoy visiting.
Not that anyone would visit. The one person who might have was the same one ready to ensure she never saw another morning.
She couldn’t date normal boys. She just had to choose the psychotic, lunatic ones.
Maybe her and her mother did have something in common.
She glanced at her phone, her heart sinking lower. William had found out about her and Christian — or had it been Christopher? — exactly twenty minuets ago. Meaning, if he had left his house the moment he’d found out, he would be at her door in exactly ten minuets. Five if he was driving fast, which Alexis would bet her life he was.
What was it about anger that made men drive so erratically? Perhaps she would be able to ask God himself soon enough. Her phone buzzed and Malcom’s name appeared on the caller ID. She answered instantly.
“Oh thank God. Hey, how quickly can you get to my house?”

Before going into it, I want to mention how this post was inspired by three things. One was user u/HastyvonFuego2 and their post on going down the rabbit hole on the Kendrick sub last week. It was also inspired by Childish Gambino’s first album release in nearly 6 years where I have been sitting on this idea for a while but he inspired me to finally post this week like he did (never posted on Reddit at all before so be gentle if I am not doing it right)! I was also inspired by an interview Bino gave to GQ about breaking down his most iconic characters. In this interview he says how This is America started out as a Drake diss but then he realized the song was too hard for just Drake so he kept working on it. He also talks in this interview about how all culture is about compression. Which means that yes, This is America is about the gun violence and police issues in America, but compressed in this video is also more about where that culture comes from which he shows is from a small handful of rap moguls, namely Drake, Diddy and Jay-Z (bear with me on this long post, I think/hope it will be worth it). At the end I talk briefly about how Little Foot Big Foot might be in this same vein of cultural compression.

The beginning of this song has no background music yet, which really gives it an ‘in the beginning’ feel. Then Gambino starts doing his dances with weird facial expressions. I will explain as we go through his video how those expressions and dance moves represent different famous rap moguls. One easy look to pick out right away is Jay-Z’s famous lip curl/growl look that Gambino gives with a head nod repeatedly. The colonial pants have been a hot topic, but since it’s only the pants that are colonial, Gambino is saying the bottom or basis for this violent culture in America is ultimately colonialism. The lyrics ‘Go Away’, are likely foreshadowing the rap moguls wanting other popular rap rivals to ‘go away’ or they will make them (aka murder them) for profit.

Usually you want money for yourself and to party for yourself, so this is a bit odd. But what Gambino is referring to is similar to these Diddy ‘freakoff parties’ we are hearing about where people who want to be famous are really partying for these rap moguls so they can get close to them. Where they suck up to them saying that they want to earn the mogul money from their songs.

Dance and shake the frame (Yeah)
Then this almost feels like the Diddy rebuttal where he’s like ya I know you want to party and you want to do it for free. Like Katt Williams says, “you gotta tell Diddy no”, it is never free to go to those parties. There are always consequences. When you are partying you are dancing, but shaking the frame could refer to how those boundaries/edges are being crossed, lines are blurred, etc.
Then in the video, the fellow who was playing the guitar gets shot and things turn dark from happy music. I believe that this guitar tune is meant to represent 2Pac and Nas’s song Thugz Mansion. It’s one of the original greats from ‘in the beginning’. Nas famously has always had major issues with Jay-Z too (More on why 2Pac and Nas later). It also represents how it was these moguls who murdered 2Pac like Jaguar Wright and Katt Williams keep saying. Where these murders only lead to more money and fame for the killers when the dead artists’ and their music are exploited more easily.
Also note that the gun gets taken away by a school kid after the shooting, more on this later as well.

There is a song called Guns in My Area by Lil Weiner and Baby Chapox that paints a vivid picture of the everyday struggles and conflicts faced by those living in communities affected by gun violence. More compression of other songs and the American gun culture.
I got the strap (Ayy, ayy)
I gotta carry 'em
I am almost certain this line is referring to 2Pac’s song Changes. Throughout This is America, Gambino takes lines from Pac’s song: “They get jealous when they see you with your mobile phone” (referred to later in this a Celly, that’s tool) “That's the sound of my tool, you say it ain't cool, My mama didn't raise no fool”
“And as long as I stay black, I gotta stay strapped, And I never get to lay back” It seems like Gambino broke up these lyrics and scattered them throughout his song. This plays into the theme that everyone is using 2Pac and enriching themselves off of his image and music. I show below how this particular section of the video represents Diddy meaning that Diddy himself is exploiting his music (and alleging that Diddy killed Pac?). We could see this exploitation play out at length with how much Diddy milked the death of Biggie like in Every Breath You Take.

The song Gorilla War by $uicideboy$ and Ramirez talks about getting a bag repeatedly in the course. Also in Otis with Kanye and Jay-Z their lyrics talk about going gorilla (I talk about this song more further down), so it could be referring to this as well. It seems like Gambino is trying to pull out lyrics from all across the rap culture and embed them in his song to highlight the ‘cultural compression’.

I think that all of the school kids in the video represent all of the rappers that are signed with these big labels. Which is interesting because they are the ones facilitating the guns for the moguls in the video. You can see that the mogul is really focused on the kids and gets agitated and directs them to follow him whenever they stray off a bit like they are his pupils, or like he owns them. Then all of a sudden the camera comes into a scene where you can see more kids shooting a rap video and all shooting money from a Supreme gun. The camera zooms out almost to show you that this is the mogul’s whole rap empire they are looking over, all of their kids in one place (this empire already includes some chaos in the background). It’s subtle but hilarious, Gambino puts fricken chickens on the ground where the kids are filming the rap video. He is directly calling all of these rappers complete chickens for playing up this lifestyle and being the cause of so much chaos rather than coming out and telling somebody what’s really going on. Trying to get their money over everything else.

This is where things start to get interesting. Gambino is literally saying, go tell somebody about this! We all know what’s happening, why don’t you go let people know how bad it is? But like Jaguar Wright said, who do you tell when these moguls have the cops and feds paid off? This video is literally Gambino putting it all out there in this extremely popular song for everyone to see but yet we still just see the dancing and the violent chaos of people and police in the streets and not the root cause that is hidden in plain sight.
The vast majority of those who reviewed this video until now think this scene represents the tragic church shooting in Charleston in 2015. I think it does, but we also have to look at this from an angle of compression.
The people in the choir are all of the people who are currently singing the rap mogul’s praises and who are focused on going and getting what’s owed to them, get their money (who are also profiting off of the dead fellows music since it goes back to the original tune). You can see that each choir member has a distinct look to them. Think about who you are hearing about now who is about to be implicated in these freak offs and evil deeds. Is that Will Smith in the back left corner!? The short bald fellow in the front left maybe Kevin Hart? Rick Ross or TD Jakes maybe the bigger guy towards the back right? When the camera zooms in on the choir right at first to show their faces, doesn’t the guy in the bottom middle look like an uncanny version of Jordan Peele? Or is that meant to be Cuba Gooding Jr? Then just like the guitar fellow at the beginning, bang. You may be singing Diddy’s praises now, but he will cut you down whenever he suddenly feels like it.
I think almost for sure this initial section of the music video is Gambino acting as Diddy, because right after he shoots the choir, he does the elbow pump/chicken dance. At 3:14 in Diddy’s video for P.E. 2000 he does the chicken dance (he is up first in the video and I think Gambino is trying to say here I first present to you the first public enemy of 3 in this song). That elbow dance signals that it was Diddy and this is the end of his section.

There have been many accounts of celebrities being given fancy cars after suffering abuse at the hands of these moguls. So these lyrics are saying that you better not slip up and tell people what’s really going on. And if you don’t look at this sweet carecord deal/movie contract I am going to give you. Beiber told this story about Diddy wanting to give him a luxury car.
Now suddenly, the dance switches from the chicken dance to a sudden bicep flex to signal us that we have now moved on from Gambino representing Diddy to our next mogul.
[Verse 2: Childish Gambino, Quavo, Young Thug, 21 Savage & BlocBoy JB]
This next chunk of the video is all about Jay-Z. I think this is the case because he throws his arms up in a bicep flex just like Jay does in the Otis music video at 2:38. And it makes sense Gambino would pick a dance move from a video with a huge American flag in the background to fit the ‘This is America’ theme. Gambino is mocking him saying, who are you really, the pretty guy or this hard gangster like Gambino shows in his dancing. Also right before they pan to the kids on the balcony, Bino also does Jay-Z’s signature lip curl look a couple times so we know it’s him and to signal the end of his section.

Jay-Z is famous for making the fitted Yankees cap famous, it’s his signature look. More signs this verse is about Jay.

Jay-Z has been seen in full wallpaper Gucci sweat suits but could also be referring to Gucci Mane who he hung out with at Beyonce’s tour around the time this song was released.

These lines are probably referring to Jay-Z having a hidden preference for men, especially with the way Gambino flicks his wrist in the video when he says I’m so pretty.

On my Kodak (Woo) Black
I think that “this a celly, that’s a tool” harkens back to 2Pac’s lyrics in Changes where he sings, “They get jealous when they see ya with your mobile phone” then shortly after that he sings about the sound of his tool, referring to shooting a gun. But Childish flips these lyrics on their head. He is saying that it’s really the phone that’s a tool to be using, not a gun. And pans up and shows (the school kids specifically) on the balcony filming everything going on below. He’s telling the kids/other rappers, use your phone as a tool, you can record these bad deeds when you get blackmailed into being at the freak off. That’s how you can kill them and their career, not with a gun. Go tell somebody! There is also the reference to Kodak which plays into the picture taking theme, but also because Kodak Black has been accused of assaulting a teenage girl in a hotel room. So we have a good idea of what Gambino suggests all the kids start filming and collecting evidence of.

Now we are onto Drake’s part. In the video Gambino starts doing the BlocBoy JB dance called Shoot. Drake is known for doing these little viral dance moves like in Hotline Bling. But not only that, this dance is also used in the song that both BlocBoy JB and Drake collaborate on for their video Look Alive. It starts at 2:07 in the Look Alive video. So this is Drake’s dance to signal his part is now starting.
Note this is where the pale horse rides by also potentially saying that Drake is one of the horsemen of the apocalypse. Interestingly, Drake’s collab with BlocBoy JB was pretty much the apocalypse for BlocBoy’s career, who hasn’t had a hit since.

Again, we know this is Drake’s section because his song 10 bands starts out by saying “10 bands, 50 bands, 100 bands” almost identical to Bino’s lyrics here. Also Blocka was famously used by Biggie in his song Gimme the Loot which could be referring to Biggie's demise like Pac’s and making money from his death. Everything in this industry originates from pushing drugs, which has been alleged through the trafficking that Diddy, Jay-Z and Drake do through their private jets likely connected to their bosses, the Clive Davises and Lucian Grainges of the world. This escalates rap beefs and the whole culture to the next level where murder is often a consequence for young rappers in their prime when international drug lord money is involved.
An interesting point is this is the only time where Childish was about to shoot someone in the video, but where he didn’t have a school kid either handing him the gun or taking it away carefully from him. (Maybe also a diss at Drake that even though he acts hard he doesn’t shoot, he gets his horseman of the apocalypse to do his dirty deeds for him instead perhaps?). This is the beginning of the end for the rap mogul as he no longer has his kids doing his bidding for him. A simple message to show how the violence can be stopped, that these shootings can end when the kids stop enabling them. So then as soon as he can’t react in that moment and shoot someone his anger is forced to chill out, as shown by smoking a J, and to go back to exploiting the dead man’s music instead. If you don’t put a gun in someone’s hand when they are heated, those feelings too shall pass - kinda feel.

Whose voice does that sound like!? It sounds a lot like Diddy to me, public enemy #1. This is basically saying that the moguls are the ones who we all owe it to for all of this glorified gun violence in America. That we owe them way more follows and likes for what a massive influence they have had on the violence and chaos we see in America today.

In Moneybagg Yo’s song 1, 2, 3, he also has a line that says “1, 2, 3, let’s go!” in a similar vein.
But something interesting I came across was Nas’s song Get Down where they use a sample from James Brown's “The Boss” that sounds extremely similar to the way Gambino screams “Get Down!” Which would fit well if the guitar singer from the beginning is meant to be Nas and Pac doing Thugz Mansion.
Also make sure you check out Nas’s song Get Down so that you can hear how much Jay-Z outright copied this song for The Story of OJ. From the musical structure with the piano and interwoven samples right down to the theme reiterated by the sample at the end of Nas’s song: “If that’s how our people are gonna get down, how are we ever gonna get up?”
SZA
Finally to wrap up the video, I have been stumped for a long time as to why SZA is randomly at the end of this video sitting on one of the cars. But I think I finally know why and it reconfirms that this last scene is all about Drake. If you watch Drake’s music video for Worst Behavior (not very Canadian of him to spell behaviour that way I might add) you will see Drake rapping and dancing with a few cars surrounding him and one of those cars has other rappers making cameos in it. In Gambino’s video SZA represents that car with a famous cameo. I think this is further confirmed when the black edges of the video start closing inwards at the end of This is America, the exact same way that Worst Behavior ends. So why SZA as the cameo then? Cause it reminds people that Drake is a p*do.
This is from an article in the Rolling Stone: In 2020, Drake revealed publicly that he and SZA had dated over a decade ago, well before she was an established artist (her earliest music goes back to around 2012; her critical breakthrough, Ctrl, came in 2017). On 21 Savage’s “Mr. Right Now,” Drake rapped about a newer fling who was a fan of SZA’s: “Yeah, said she wanna fuck to some SZA, wait / ‘Cause I used to date SZA back in ’08 / If you cool with it, baby, she can still play.” A few days later, SZA responded, corroborating Drake’s claim with a slight correction: they dated in 2009, when both would have been over 18. Since SZA would not have turned 18 until late 2008, she wanted to set the record straight. “in this case a year of poetic rap license mattered 🥴lol I think he jus innocently rhymed 08 w wait [sic],” she tweeted. “I just didn’t want anybody thinking anything underage or creepy was happening . Completely innocent . Lifetimes ago . [sic]”
If you have to specifically say something isn’t creepy and distance yourself from it being lifetimes ago, it usually is creepy. Drake would’ve been 22 when she was 17. Metro Boomin also happens to be on the Mr. Right Now track. He is currently in trouble for resurfaced old tweets showing how Metro used to tweet disgusting things about what he wanted to do to underage girls. Interestingly, Metro Boomin is also now beefing with Drake.
Drake doing his dance on the car of the original musician’s music seems to be accusing Drake directly of stealing 2Pac’s music. Orlando Brown recently said the cryptic statement that “Drake is Pac” which likely means he stole 2Pac’s approach/style/audience after his death. Gambino did some good foreshadowing here too with the recent AI release Drake put out of 2Pac.
This dance scene also signals that the Drake section is now over.

The outro lyrics speak to how these gatekeepers keep black men down and control them with things like being forced to wear a dress to become famous or to submit to homosexual/p*do acts.. In the video, as I mentioned above, the black edges close in on Drake’s dancing scene in This is America. But they don’t completely close and end things like they do in the Worst Behavior video. Instead, in Gambino’s video, the camera pans to show the mogul running for his life with Young Thug’s lyrics almost like a quiet echo in the background. He isn’t running from the cops though, he’s running from the kids and from the public. When I mentioned earlier that the kids not handing over the last gun before Drake’s scene signalled the beginning of the end for the moguls, this is that conclusion. Where it is showing that if all the kids come together to stop enabling and rather expose the moguls, people will be chasing these bastards down once we realize what has been going on behind the curtain. Then the song that Young Thug is singing can just be a quiet echo of the way things were in the past.
If you don’t think Gambino would be this deep and that I went too far down the rabbit hole, do a Google search on the calculations that he came up with for why he sings about loving until 3005 in his song. He seems to go real deep with his lyrics. So a big question this leaves us with is, what did Childish Gambino witness in the rap industry? His whole rap career plays out like he is trying to avoid industry norms.
Even in Sweatpants, he has lyrics like:

Seems like he is trying to make it really clear across his catalogue of music that he isn’t a p*do but that other rappers are. Where he is saying that he doesn’t need to ID his potential partners because he can tell they are obviously too young and that’s not hard to do.

So who was trying to paint him as a villain, Drake? And that’s why the diss was originally meant for him?

He’s taunting the other rappers cause he knows they can’t say shit if they are creeps. He has the same sentiment in Bonfire “It’s a bonfire, turn the lights out, I’m burning everything you mother fuckers talk about.”
Childish Gambino has always refrained from talking about the meaning of This is America whenever he is asked, and I can only assume that all of this is why.
Little Foot Big Foot
Now with his new release, Little Foot Big Foot and applying cultural compression to it, it has me wondering if he is referring to Megan Thee Stallion and the Nicki beef? People like Nicki (calling Megan Big Foot) have been claiming for some time she wasn’t even shot in the foot by Tory Lanez. There were many people laughing and making fun of Megan over getting shot. Which could be an interesting story for Childish to tell to represent how crazy this violent culture has gotten that people just laugh and blame the victim now when you get shot. Also a good metaphor for things like ‘shooting yourself in the foot’ for not having a lawyer look over potentially predatory industry contracts like in the beginning of his video. That you want to get in the cool kids club so bad you overlook it. Not as sure on this one though since the song just came out and I have only heard it a few times.
One last thing that is really interesting, there have been tons of artists on podcasts like Shay Shay talking about the strings these ultra rich moguls can pull. Like buying awards or gatekeeping people from being in the industry at all. There was even a story, I think maybe it was Gene Deal who told it, that when Killer Mike won at the grammys that Jay-Z was so angry he made sure to mess up his night by getting him locked up as soon as he left the awards stage. These moguls are extremely powerful and have an incredible amount of sway in the world/industry. If you check out Gambino’s profile on Youtube, his old music videos keep getting taken down, like Bonfire for example is just gone. Fans have been having to upload the videos themselves. There is a reply to a comment, on one of the fan uploaded vids, from Gambino’s account himself when someone asks why the videos are being taken down. His account just replies “Noone knows why :(“ Seems a bit odd all things considered and like maybe he has been at the mercy of these gatekeepers for going against the system.

Because she “doesn’t like having other people in her house and forgot that”…… i am human too and don’t deserve this level of discarding and disregard for my immediate well being. After i uproot my life and choosing to spend my time assisting someone else
Am nb and have had guns pulled on me in rest stop bathrooms etc- was a city kid homeless 1.5 years- moved into a studio in a rural “liberal “ majority area and am beside myself while experiencing the insidious inhumanity of compounded bigotry. The worst is being assumed to be completely incompetent or otherwise lacking. Some people almost pity me it’s insane. . Wanted to trust this opportunity. I feel sick.

As title says…Despite all the bad things and negativity lately happening to this game I actually want to say something positive and I’m curious to know what keeps you playing this game?
As a “regular everyday normal mtfckaa” in late 20’s I’m actually valuing my free time and I’m picky about stuff that grant me happiness and joy. And as a major hobby of mine is gaming i’m super picky of games I play because I cant play them all you know…
So.. what I wanted to say with that is that I want my gaming sessions to be rewarding , progressive and not wasted… something like valuable investment. I was a mmorpg guy so I can see this mindset starting from there. I like that my invested time playing has somesort of progress going on and thats gives me joy. I can’t get this feeling from singleplayer games anymore because you finish them and thats it, end of the story. I can’t get this feeling from competitive games (although I was addicted to cs since 1.6 times and skipped school) because I don’t have enough time to stay “competitive” and keep my skills sharp. So basically I dont get the joy and thus it is time wasted for me. ( I know, its addiction )
So I started looking in other directions, and there it was.. simulation games. Started with racing (got cockpit and everything) naah, not for me altough it’s my second hobby related to gaming) . Then i dibbled into aircraft, flying simulators - totaly wasnt my thing…
And then, the majesty, the goddess of them all, Mil-Sim’s. Tried them all but Dayz was the one I stucked into. All I needed was more guns… And then EFT came, the savior, the pastor, the holy spirit himself. It had everything I wanted in a game. Ok just to make it short - I valued every minute of playing tarkov, enjoyed every raid even if I died, because I had joy playing.. and the irl gun simulation is just a cherry on top. Time playing tarkov for me is never wasted even if I die and loseeverything. Even cheaters cant take this away from me. Because I’m actually happy playing the game not justhappy to get rewards from my monotonous grinding. It wasnt like the usual grind - do this and you get that. Every minute could spawn situations either happy ones or sad ones (getting head eyes). Every goddamn thing I did ingame was rewarded - was it a lucky flank and nice free kit or horrendous firefight with me resulting dead. And about progression which I value the most - this time its experience that I get playing the game i like and I’m actually satisfied I have to go out of my way to find information about everything in game.
So yeah, despite all the things I’m looking after in games, Tarkov gets me despite going against all my requirements.
TL;DR
Tarkov is joyful every minute you play the game not like other games -grindfest / do that and get this. Now keep doing it till the final boss. It’s not about rewards, it’s about playing process.
