New Survivor Perks

  • Mirrored Illusion This perk activates after completing a total of 50% worth of repair progress on generators. Press the ability button 2 when next to a totem, chest, generator or exit gate to spawn a static illusion that lasts for 100/110/120 seconds. Then, the perk deactivates.
  • Bardic Inspiration Press the ability button 1 while standing and motionless to enter the "performance" interaction that lasts up to 15 seconds and empowers Survivors within 16 meters. Roll a d20. This effect lasts for 60 seconds if the performance is completed. When the ability is cancelled or the performance completes, it goes on cooldown for 90/75/60 seconds. 1 You scream, but nothing happens 2-10 skill checks give +1% progress 11-19 skill checks give +2% progress 20 skill checks give +3% progress
  • Still Sight After standing still for 6/5/4 seconds, this perk activates. Until you start moving, you see the aura of the Killer as well as all generators and chests within 18 meters.

New Killer - The Lich

Killer Power

Bound with the skin and flesh of men, the Book is packed with spells both forbidden and wicked. To select a Spell, hold the Ability Button to open the Spell selection. The Lich has access to 4 different Spells:
  • Mage Hand: Creates a magical hand that lifts a downed pallet or blocks an upright pallet for 4 seconds.
  • Flight of the Damned: Conjures 5 flying spectral entities that can pass through obstacles and injure Survivors.
  • Dispelling Sphere: Casts a moving invisible sphere that reveals Survivors and temporarily disables their Magic Items.
  • Fly: Gain a flying speed for a short period of time, allowing you to travel a long distance quickly and move over vaults and pallets.
SPECIAL ITEM: MAGIC ITEMS
Treasure Chests found around the map can contain Magic Items. Each Survivor can equip up to two Magic Items at once: one pair of Boots and one pair of Gauntlets. These Magic Items are each connected to a specific Spell, and activate when The Lich casts that spell.
  • Boots/Gauntlets of the Interloper: The Survivor sees the aura of pallets affected by Mage Hand and gains Haste for 3 seconds.
  • Boots/Gauntlets of the Nightwatch: The Survivor can see the auras of the spectral entities conjured by Flight of the Damned.
  • Boots/Gauntlets of the Archivist: The Survivor can see the Dispelling Sphere.
  • Boots/Gauntlets of the Skyguard: The Survivor can see The Lich's aura during Fly and for a few seconds after.
SPECIAL ITEMS: HAND & EYE OF VECNA
Rarely, Survivors can instead find the Hand or Eye of Vecna in a Treasure Chest. When picked up and used, Survivors gain a special ability while at full health. Using one of these special abilities costs the Survivor a health state and reveals their location with Killer Instinct for 3 seconds.
  • Hand of Vecna: When doing a Fast Locker Entry, the Survivor is teleported to a further locker.
  • Eye of Vecna: When doing a Fast Locker Exit, the Survivor cannot be seen by The Lich and gains Haste for 12 seconds.

New Killer Perks

  • Weave Attunement When any item becomes depleted for the first time each match, it is dropped. You see the auras of dropped items. Survivors within 8 meters of dropped items have their auras revealed to you. When a Survivor picks up a Survivor item, they suffer the Oblivious status effect for 20/25/30 seconds. Oblivious prevents Survivors from hearing or being affected by the Killer's Terror Radius.
  • Languid Touch When a Survivor within 36 meters of you scares a crow, they gain the Exhausted status effect for 6/8/10 seconds. This perk has a 20-second cooldown. Exhausted prevents Survivors from activating exhausting perks.
  • Dark Arrogance Increases the duration you are blinded and the duration of pallet stuns by 25%. Increases regular vault speed by 16/18/20%.

New Map - Forgotten Ruins

A new Map comes to the world of Dead by Daylight, found in The Decimated Borgo Realm. A tower standing tall alone, but what is above ground hides a new world underground. A prison area where Vittorio Toscano was thrown in for some time. On the other side of the dungeon, the Alchemist room is found, where a scholar can learn secrets of the world, or the dimensions that surround the universe of the Entity.

Known Issues

Characters
  • It is possible for The Dredge and a Survivor to get stuck in a locker if another Survivor tries to hide in the same locker before the teleportation.
Perks
  • UI feedback is missing for some Perks (Languid Touch, Weave Attunement, Bardic Inspiration).
  • Survivors' Auras are revealed when swapping an item held in hands with an Item inside a Chest with the Weave Attunement Perk.
  • The Survivor screams and animation triggers before the result of the dice appears with the Bardic Inspiration Perk.
  • Rarely there is no lute or dice animations when triggering the Bardic Inspiration Perk.
  • When rolling a 1 with the Bardic Inspiration perk, the lute song will continue to play indefinitely until the perk interaction is attempted again.
  • It is possible to spawn a second illusion when there is already one active with the Mirrored Illusion Perk.

Hi, guys! So, graduation is coming up and my friend group from school is just in an awful place at the moment, so I’m spending a lot more time alone than I would like to, and I’m hoping to change that with video games.
I don’t really have or play a lot of games where I can talk to strangers - I have Project Zomboid, but I am yet to find an active server that fulfills both my social and base-building needs alike, and I also have played One Hour One Life, but there isn’t that much building involved, and I’ve only played there twice, so I’m not very good at it, and people weren’t super talkative last time I was there…
Other than that, I have no other games in the survival genre that would allow me to meet random players around the map. Anyone got any recommendations for me on that aspect? Or, where do you usually go to build stuff and talk to strangers? I’m not very into PvP, but if the building aspect is good, then I’ll probably still like it! - Though maybe not if it’s anything that would require me to be a valuable part of a team, because I’m hearing impaired and can’t really take verbal orders. 😅

Looking for a CAS creator for save file collab
Hey there, I'm looking to find an adult Sims player who is a CAS creator for a save file collaboration.
I'm a builder playing on Xbox Series X who's been building on TS4 for years now.
Of course, being on console, that comes with depressing limitations. Key factors being I'm unable to access mods nor create the save file myself. That being said, I'm looking to find a CAS creator who loves creating Sims who'd be willing to create the Sims to go alongside the homes and family storylines which I've created along with using my builds from the gallery to form the actual save file. Currently this will be for Willow Creek only.
I'm a writer so for each of the residential lots I've created storylines with lots of drama involved and am decorating the homes specific to the families I have in mind.
You'd have the freedom to design the Sims however you like, so long as they fit the criteria for the specific build they'd be living in (i.e. 2 parents, 1 teen, 1 kid for example). I would send you storylines and each build in advance so that you may let this influence your CAS designs as much or as little as you like. This is very much a WIP and would take lots of work from both parts but as someone who sucks at CAS but enjoys the building and story creation elements of the Sims, I figured it might be a good opportunity for someone who isn't much for building but loves CAS to work with me on a save file that would be created with joint ownership!
I currently have all lots in Willow Creek planned out, 90% storylines complete, 80% of the shells in place for the builds with one fully completed and multiple others around 50% complete. I can't commit to deadlines for this but as a rough guideline am aiming to have one build fully completed per week.
As the person who would be the CAS creator for this save file would need to be a PC player in order to actually create the save file, I'd be happy for you to use TOOL to add in any off the lot decor to make the world come to life, along with map art and any other fancy bits and bobs you lucky PC players are able to add in to give the safe file some extra flare! Also happy for your input as to the storylines and / or builds if you'd like to make alterations.

I'm working on a ranking for sunglass lenses (NOT frames), to be used when I start publishing lens reviews. This is my current list and I wanted to run it by this subreddit for your thoughts. Let me know what you think, if I'm missing anything or there should be different categories.
Tier 1: Elite
The best of the best. These lenses offer exceptional quality and performance, making them worth actively seeking out. They provide unparalleled clarity, color enhancement, and contrast, making them ideal for anyone who wants the very best viewing experience. They may not be the best in every situation, but the experience they provide in environments they thrive in is unmatched. It may be worth sacrificing the style or construction of the frame in order to acquire these lenses.
Examples: Serengeti Drivers, Maui Jim Blue Hawaii

Tier 2: Exceptional
Amazing lenses that excel in specific conditions or slightly lag the tech of tier 1. While they may not be perfect, they will still be a pleasure to wear, and their quality is worth considering a purchase. They may perform even better than Tier 1 in particular situations, such as extreme bright sunlight, low light, or atypical environments. If you need lenses for a specific activity or condition, or you love the frame they come with, these are a superb choice.
Examples: Costa Del Mar Blue Mirror Glass, Vuarnet Grey Polar

Tier 3: Excellent
Great lenses that offer a consistently good experience. While they may not be the absolute best, they provide excellent protection, clarity, and comfort. If you want a reliable and high-quality lens, these are a great option. These can also thrive in very specific circumstances. Glass lenses with no significant added tech, most high-quality nylon or polycarbonate lenses. Consider purchasing if the frame choice is important.
Examples: Persol Green, Oakley Dark Golf

Tier 4: Standard
Fine lenses that meet basic expectations. They provide adequate protection and clarity but lack the exceptional quality and features of higher-tier lenses. If you're looking for a no-frills option, these lenses will suffice. Non glass but with some tech and all basic coatings included. Worth buying at low prices or keeping as beater pairs.
Examples: Revo Graphite, Smith Chromapop Brown

Tier 5: Basic
Essentially the minimum quality you can expect. These lenses provide basic protection but lack the clarity, comfort, and features of higher-tier lenses. While they can be cheap (though often that is not the case), they're disappointing overall and not recommended for anyone who wants a good sunglass experience. Will often not have even basic coatings included. Not worth buying.
Examples: Ray Ban Polycarbonate, Many designer options.

2024.05.14 18:46 OperatorDuck502 List of my issues with M24 Superstar mode

  1. Draft logic is near non-existent. When you're picked is based solely on Combine performance and doesn't take into account what picks a team has or what trades they'd have to make. Only a select few teams, it seems, can pick certain positions (like when I remade my CB save 3 times and all 3 times was drafted by the Lions,) and actual team need is basically thrown out of the window, ignoring the picks teams made in real life. (Which feels like something that wouldn't be hard to implement if the devs actually ever updated the game.)
  2. Combine minigames are extremely poorly made. The bench press has stupid control mapping, and while it isn't that difficult, it is really annoying and uncomfortable to do well. The 40 is fine, I guess, but it has 0 nuance outside of the feature where sometimes it doesn't register your inputs (which is really fun and interesting!) The broad jump is impossible, no matter how hard I try, or how I try, or what I try on, I can barely get above an F for some reason. The 20-yard shuttle is the opposite end of the spectrum and is way too easy, and the position-specific drills are unrealistic, boring, annoying with how the controls are set up, and are also paired with somehow the most annoying music in the game.
  3. Training camp minigames are way too difficult for what they should be. The scoring system for the WDB battle minigame on defense sucks, making it near impossible to get gold if you don't have a Superstar over 80 OVR. The Oklahoma drill minigame is just plain boring. The moving barriers in the pass rush minigame are really annoying when paired with how terrible the movement system is. And, finally, the target passing QB minigame just doesn't really make sense. I would love a realistic training camp but I guess asking for realism is too much for Madden devs.
  4. Defensive balancing sucks. The way it seems to me that the difficulty system works is that it only actually affects your offense, because in my experience, changing the difficulty setting does nothing to the difficulty of playing defense in Superstar mode. The opposing offense will have the same skill with different playbook sizes, and your AI teammates will still not pick up receivers in their zones or play the ball with any sense of a brain. Changing the difficulty only influences two things: the nuance of the opponent's playbook, and how good your team's offense is. If you're playing a defensive superstar on a not great team, your offense will struggle greatly while you try your best, meaning even in the best case scenario you won't score enough to win. If you lower the difficulty, you'll score more, but it'll make playing defense less fun and interesting overall.
I may be very wrong about how the game works, but this is what it feels like to me while playing it, which is bad enough. A problem is a problem no matter why it's happening and it would be very very much appreciated if the devs tried maybe anything at all to fix it.

I (24F) travel a lot for work and I have to use my Apple Maps daily. There’s no good place to put a phone holder on my dash or windshield so I have to hold it in my hand on the steering wheel (which I know isn’t ideal).
So I’m driving to a customer’s house and I notice this lifted truck is driving right next to me even though I kept speeding up and slowing down to try to get him to go away. I was getting creeped out and I couldn’t even see inside of the truck since the windows were tinted. I kept looking over with a “wtf??” look on my face. This goes on for a couple of minutes until we approach a red light.
We get to a red light and a boomer rolls down his window screaming, “GET OFF OF YOUR PHONE!!!! YOUR GENERATION IS SO LAZY AND CARELESS ABOUT EVERYTHING!!!” He said a lot of other things but that was the gist of it.
Mind you, I don’t think I looked at my phone once the entire time of him driving next to me. Instead I kept looking at him out of concern.
Once he stopped screaming at me, I panned my phone over to him to show it’s the gps.
He didn’t say a word and rolled up his window.
I just don’t understand why boomers are so comfortable yelling at people they don’t know? Especially young women??

So, these two clowns of artists in Belgium (are there any other there? don’t get me started on rené ma bite or marcel bread arse here!) had the ammazing idea to get themselves funded by the local government in this hamlet of three houses called Watou which apparently would be part of - ok, stop me here. Not in the history of mankind has ever ended a sentence well which tried to explain any aspect of Belgian politics, topography or whatever the call the thing there where a man rides a horse stark naked and bites the neck of living goose hanging from a tree? (See, that sentence didn’t end well either, did it, what’d I tell you? Cursed stuff!) Let’s try that again: two artists in the Belgian town of Watou had the splendid idea to organize a festive event, in the middle of summer, whereby all the people of this little village (if you’re thinking of blue skinned vikings charging Roman legionnaires in a berry-induced bad trip frenzy, well, so am I) for one day left their houses, dropped the key of their house in a transparant bowl on the town square and all went to the field adjacent to their village to well be (as in: not fornicate) together and thereby, if I had a press release I’d quote this from it: practiced a performative experiment in hospitality and neighborship where no fixed rules are applied. I’m guessing if you’re sensitive like I am to the finer things a life, you might as well start looking for your nearest Nielsen frame too by now, but hey: we haven’t even gotten to the joke yet! So when our supposedly resocialised townspeople entered their village that afternoon, ready to get their key, run to their house and close their door for at least the next 364 days, the immediately realised they couldn’t close their doors anymore. Total mayhem ensued. Men started chasing women, people pillaged their neighbours houses, children and adults alike pooped on all toothbrushes they could find, underwear was thrown into compost heaps, compost heaps were thrown into unlawful indoor spas, hundred thousands of untaxed euro piles were find inside old televisions and grandmas paintings. There was no stopping them. Housewifes hung themselves after their portrait, tits out and all, was found hanging above at least three beds in different houses. It was bad. Real bad. By the time news of this feast of anarchy and murder had spread to the nearest villages and the police arrived, the artists had of course long disappeared, no doubt to narrativise their failure into a story of experiment and learning and cash in a couple of fat pay checks.
And you know what the name was the artists had given their beautiful day of harmony and collective connecting: Open Doors Day. They sure got it, their open doors day, they sure got it. Serves them right. Serves them damn right.

18 super samples an hour.
I’m sure something similar is posted elsewhere but none of the other guides have worked for me. I can’t consistently find the rock on the map and usually spend too much time looking and get whacked by a patrol and can’t recover.
What has worked for me is this and it works on suicide missions and above, solo or with a team of friends on the same page.
  1. Select a blitz mission, bots or bugs, doesn’t matter but I’ve found bots are easier to outrun if you get caught and bug breaches on helldive are just crazy.
  2. Wear scout armor that decreases your detectable range.
  3. Drop in a clear area near extraction to get set up.
  4. You can pretty easily avoid most enemies.
  5. Make your way around the map until you find the radar tower (so far there has always been one on blitz) or you find the thumb rock. You can easily avoid the main and sub objectives as well.
  6. ALL super samples in a blitz mission spawn together so 6 on Helldive.
  7. If you don’t find the rock before you activate the radar there are only 3 or 4 MPI, so it’s easy to find the rock after activation.
8A. Sneak your way to extraction and chill/hide. You shouldn’t have much time left until the extraction sequence.
8B. If you cleared the objectives, still let time expire and don’t active extraction. This auto-calls in Pelican 1 BUT doesn’t seem to trigger any major wave. I’m still testing but it’s been pretty consistent.
8C. You can drop the samples near the beacon in case you get killed but any adds should be manageable.
  1. Hop on the bird and fly away with up to 6 super samples every 15 minutes or so.
I’ve done this as I said solo (and I’m not good) and with a group. I’ll usually sneak off looking for the radar or the rock while the rest of the team clears objectives and we just meet at extraction. Scout armor is probably the key.

Now I’m not making the claim the game is dead, but it’s in a very different state than it was 5 years ago. I still play and the game still is imo the most fun moba ever created.
Now hots was never my main moba, it was always the game my friends and I would go to when league was pissing us off too much, but I have been play league for over a decade so I think I’m a little qualified to talk about mobas.
I think what ultimately made hots not take off was just the time in came out. When hots came out we were still knee deep in the competitive moba discovery period. People were still figuring out macro and micro play and being a “good player” was a way broader statement.
Today in 2024 that is so not that case lol. The guide meta these games have caused the player bases be a lot better in general, and that’s good. I have however noticed that a lot of people are afraid to try mobas due to their hyper competitive tive nature, and that’s where I think hots would so fantastic.
I think the game releases with just some modern graphics and maybe some changes to ranked. I personally think having a smaller map pool per ranked season would allow balance to be a little more broad.
Hots is objectively a fantastic option for someone who has not played a moba before. You have no item builds, team xp, and objective based maps.
Those might seem unimportant but it’s the opposite. No builds means you don’t have to learn what a bunch of items do. Team xp means your team can makeup for your lack of knowledge, and objective based maps makes the macro play insanely simple and easy to understand.
They would have to do some advertising they couldn’t just decided to start supporting the game again. I just think the game would do fantastic today, but blizzard would never.

  3. Run tracking (casual 2 runs per week, 15k fun runner dadbod)
  4. Rugged: want 3+ years of life. Yardwork, weights, running, kids all beat up my Charge 5 and galaxy active2 in 12 months
  5. Payments
  6. body battery
  7. Golf (use laser rangefinder, find myself asking league partner for yardages ~5x per round)
  8. auto workout tracking (weights, rowing, swimming, biking)
Don't care about:
  1. Touch screen
  2. size
  3. watch faces
  4. solar charging
  5. maps
  6. massive amounts of golf course info. front/back/middle and hazards is good
Thinking epix gen2 covers all 8 above.
Forerunner 955 makes some sacrifices some golf functionality & ruggedness (maybe?) for $100 less
Forerunner 255 music sacrifices all golf, some ruggedness, touchscreen, for $250 less
vivofit 5 sacrifices ruggedness, 5 button layout, some run coaching
Am I overlooking anything? What would you buy? $500 price tag isn't hateful for me.

Advice and explanation for rider ratings?
ADVICE PLEASE - please be nice!! I just learned I can check my rider score break down on Uber. (FYI just check in privacy settings). I’m really confused how I have like 10 less-than 5 star reviews, and some 1s?
  • If the driver is talkative, I’ll try to mirror their vibe and chat with them
  • If not, I just stay quiet and will sometimes just put headphones on and be still
  • I never ask for anything at all: music change/volume/windows/water
  • I don’t slam doors or have any lingering smells e.g. smoke/perfume
  • I always greet in a friendly way and leave saying have a great day!
  • Never made a mess or forgotten something in the car
  • Rarely bring luggage and if I do, I notify in advance of the ride I have X amount of luggage to check whether we’re a fit
  • Rarely bring others with me in the car, at most 1 other person who is quiet too
The only things I can think of: - If I can see the driver accepted the ride while parked but hasn’t moved (and on the map it shows it isn’t traffic or anything) then I’ll ask if they’re still coming. This is because, I’ve had a good few drivers accept a ride, and then after 10-15 minutes of waiting for them to start heading over they just cancel. - On less than 5/138 occasions I’ve been 1-3 minutes late to the pickup spot (but I would message them saying I will be there in 2 minutes) - Maybe I was too quiet sometimes? I can be nervous in late-night car rides and not want to converse as much as a woman passenger with male drivers
I learned they don’t see tipping until after they have already rated the rider too, so whether it was like a 20% or more, they don’t even see until afterwards and it doesn’t go towards the rating.
Any advice on how to improve or what I might be missing? I’ve noticed it’s been harder to get rides!

Many already love this game mode, but I know its true potential hasn't been scratched yet.
This game mode hasn't any dedicated map (developed&designed only for Firefight) and, unlike the og Firefight which can adapt to any map since it's just a infinite enemy wave survival mode, it could use a lot more dedicated maps where the hills spawns in specific zones that you can tell they're made for holding a hill against waves of enemies (thanks to the setting and positioning of the hill)
Let me explain further: normal king of the hill in pvp requires team to hold or capture the hill but in maps designed to be balanced and for any other mode also. Meanwhile firefight doesn't need any of this, so the maps could potentially be designed way more around the game mode itself rather than copy paste others and adding random hills like it is now (I don't blame them at this point, I'm just talking about its potential, I'm not complaining)
Indeed the best map where to play Firefight KoTH is easly the one from the campaign for two reasons:
The setting is screaming Banished all around, but in general the map itself is designed greatly for that (since it was developed for a campaign level).
And the first hill position. It's a cool fucking hill the first one. I wish there where many other maps with hills zones like that one cuase when there you can truly feel like you're holding a position rather than "defending a random area"
Cool they added randevou tho, that's a big w I didn't expect. Hopefully more dedicated maps will come to this mode, I bet forgers have some really good ones.

We are planning a big trip for 2025 and are completely lost with deciding which island and if we should go in March/April or SeptembeOctober. We typically always pick a shoulder season to travel because its good weather and not too crowded. We want to mostly do hiking, we arent big beach people. My hubby wants to do a fishing tour of sorts. I really want to see volcanoes and incredible waterfalls. Im currently torn between Big Island and Oahu (although open to suggestions). The Pearl Harbor Museum is also kind of intriguing to me and hubby as well. We are planning to AirBnB or Vrbo since we would really like to be able to cook our own meals but still have the option of a nice dinner and from what I can tell the costs are a bit better if we dont stay in hotels or resorts. We figure we will have about 7-10days depending on what we end up really wanting to do while we are there (and we are limited on vacation day availability with our work schedules). Ive also considered splitting the trip in half and doing half on one island and half on another. It also looks like we would have a full day to day and a half travel to get to Hawaii which we would need to factor in as well.

I’ll start with shotguns in Warzone. I believe that shotguns NEED to be a one hitter. Two shots maximum. Otherwise they are utterly worthless. Yes, I know distance is a factor. But at close range, one shot should crack people, and the second should immediately kill. Or if you’re shot by a shotgun at POINT BLANK range that should be an instant kill. I know that will make many people complain that they are OP but in reality that would make shotguns do what they are actually intended to do. Also CoD nerfs shotguns by default. For those of you that don’t know, shotguns in real life have a much higher effective range than they do in CoD. So CoD nerfs shotguns by default with there terribly short range. If shotguns had there real life effective range AND maximum stopping power in Warzone, THEN I can agree they would be OP. But with such a short range and low fire rate, giving them maximum stopping power isn’t too much of a buff.
As little side note it’s very rare CoD has something OP or something that “needs to be fixed”. Every now and then there is an undeniable problem. But most of the time people just simply complain about what they feel gets them killed the most. Even in Multiplayer. People that can’t stand snipers are people that get killed by them all the time. People that complain that flashbangs and concussions need to be nerfed are people that are always victim and feel screwed to those. Aggressive run and gunners with assault rifles can’t stand shotguns in small maps. Lots of people that like to snipe can’t stand smoke and so on. Most of the time when people complain about something being OP or needs to be nerfed they are just exposing what always beats them.
Now for my second statement, 2v2 gulag. In my opinion the 2v2 gulag wasn’t bad in theory. But it was bad in reality. I know lots of you are thinking IT WAS BAD IN THEORY TOO. You are disagreeing with me from your emotions from bad experiences rather than from your mind. In theory, it would be a new and thrilling concept for people to be paired with some random person and you’d have to work together and depend on one another to respawn back into the game. Then part ways. But in REALITY, that wasn’t always the case. There are two reasons people say 2v2 gulag was a terrible mistake. In my opinion, 1 reason was INVALID and the other is VALID.
The invalid reason is that people complained their partner wasn’t as good as themselves. All I can think of to those people is tough ti*dy. Too bad, that’s unfortunate, but I don’t care. Suck it up. You won’t always get your way. Even in real life people get paired with other people that have a lack of experience in something. Just because your partner wasn’t as good as you doesn’t mean this system sucks and should be removed. You’re being a total crybaby and hypocrite. Because it’s only “terrible” when you and your partner lose. If you died and your partner carried you back into the game, and especially if you ended up getting a Warzone win, you’d be happy your gulag partner saved you.
Now the valid reason it sucks and I’m forced to agree even though I rarely experienced this myself, is that it was often LITERALLY and TRULY a 2v1. Often times people’s parters deliberately didn’t even try. I seen it with my own eyes. And for that reason, everyone’s frustration and 2v2 being replaced with 1v1 is totally understandable and justified.
But if it were up to me, there would be three types of BR solos, one with 2v2 gulag, one with 1v1 gulag(the standard), and one without gulag at all.

I was wondering what was causing all those little stutters. It's the Vram reaching limit randomly.
Only textures setting affects the Vram currently in any significant way, so you're forced to use low textures which .... is hit and miss, on the Asgard maps it looks great, in Tokyo 2099 you get ps2 textures on monitors (but the rest looks good), character textures suffer a bit up close too.
Hope they can lower that a bit because the other settings affect GPU usage but not Vram. So you end up with powerful GPUs having to run the game very ugly just because of that.

Either way it's clear that the last extensive guide is slightly out of date (made in 2013). I just had a couple of questions for anyone who cares about the guide.
  1. Should I play free maps or only paid maps? While free maps do have drops they're usually not as good or important as paid maps.
  2. Should I make it for all medals or just gold? Obviously the best guide would include all maps and all medals but that would take a while longer and delay me actually putting the guide out.
Yeah for anyone who's interested let me know. This could be a waste of time and the drops could be minimally different.

Knock Knock: characterized by a long covered bush this map encourages mid lane being the safest one, while the sides are utilized to push up the map, apply pressure on your enemies or just take repair. However, to compensate, these areas won't have many shooting angles or interactions with the other lanes
Two Sliced: the idea consists in splitting the whole map in 2 through the mid. Especially when gas comes in, it will be very hard to change side, therefore creating intense interactions between players inside a "slice", but keeping each one still aware of players on the other one. To balance the duos spawns, one duo will have easier access to the jump pads so that it can choose what side to go in
Beautiful Monster: a map that seems apparently for long-range and sharpshooters but in reality, due to the cover design, controllers will excel here with a good strategy: controlling mid gives a quite great advantage but the bushes positions, despite not allowing many shooting angles, allow for the team at disadvantage to have at least a bit of control and positioning

RHYSAND

Amram is of Hebrew origin and means "exalted people." It is the Biblical name of Moses' father.

tl;dr tips plz? thanks
Hey all, so ever since Wreck it Ralph first came out all I wanted was a good Sugar Rush based kart game. This seemed close enough, so I gave it a shot.
Anyone got any tips that the game doesn't tell you or otherwise please? I've played MK and CTR before, and in those games it's best to keep drifting even on straights for your boost. Does it work like that here? Because I had some races where I drifted my butt off, and barely edged first. Then I did the same race barely drifting and just driving casually and came first easily, so I don't get it. Drift less?
I also feel like there's not enough feedback when you drift. Sometimes I drift and there's no boost, but I never get why? Should I be looking out for something?
Shortcuts seem like the best advantage, but I'm not sure how to learn them. CPU don't take many, and online some do but generally the ones that do are double my level and pull away so fast I can't see what they're doing. Don't really want to sit and watch clips of all the tracks either just to learn them.
Finally, with the awful state of monetisation in this game, should I actually bother learning the game at all? Been doing the world map, it's roadblock after roadblock. Can't play this race, can't play that race. Done every race I could but still left out and no way to get Vanellope or even other characters. Is it worth buying one golden pass and hoping that will sustain me or am I going to miss out on loads anyway? Then online it's just about who's bought the most to win.
It's a shame because there's been some clear effort and talent behind this game but the game is marred by an awful business model that actively hurts it.

I literally jumped the gun, overhyped, completely my fault, it was too good to be true So ill accept all insults etc headed my way, Anyways the story goes, I approached him being a resident of Lahore, He explained the specs etc, ''Gift from my khala, i am a 10th class student, i dont need it, i need to sell it quick to buy a phone, i dont much about laptops, i have no use for it" Then in the end when you discuss the location, 'Laptop is available in sambrial, i changed the location to Lahore because it wasnt selling there, i can tcs it to you or you can come take it from here'' Chat lingered on for 2 days, I had a contact, one of my father's friend lives in sambrial, so i mentioned that, Later on the guy goes, 'Someone also wants to buy it, he also gave me advance' So i panicked, but i thought i won him over, cuz i approached him round about 10 mins after he uploaded the ad, (by chance) so i played the card, i was the first to approach you etc etc, so in the end i also sent him advance, of 5k and he said he had returned the other guys money. He sent his location on google maps So the guy then talked for a day, (i was making the arrangements) then suddenly dipped, phone powered off, not blocked, Then today he came online and called and apologised etc etc, and asked me to take it, He sent me the address, luckily my father's friend realized these locations were miles apart, and was calling to a shady area, When we approached him seperately, we got blocked afterwards. So thats that, In the end i lost 5k, (thankfully not more), learnt a lesson, and to never trust anyone (I do have his easypaisa account and the id card he sent me, id card number etc is linked to his account)

I’ve been playing bf1 on Xbox since release mainly operations. Seems like a good 70 percent of the times the only servers that are up are Monte grappa and Ballroom Blitz. Was thinking of switching over to pc in hopes there was more variety in the map rotation, would my switch be in vain or are there more servers on pc?

2024.05.14 17:41 nonideological Stop Assuming Players That Are "Loitering" on the Map are Doing Nothing!

Level 87 player with over 350hours of gameplay - no, I'm not omniscient, I don't know everything, but I I've seen a lot and learned even more.
With the increase in patrols I think we can all agree things have gotten messier in game play, especially that you can get completely surrounded very easily now.
With that said I've seen an uptick in random gameplay where the host chides me or kicks me for not "participating" or not "keeping up with the rest of the team" because I'm somewhere else on the map.
So my default play style is "Big Brother" - at least some Youtubers call it that - it's the role where you're a little behind the pack watching all the angles, flanking as necessary and protecting the rest of the team. With my Autocannon and Punsher Plasma I have good medium range to take out Rocket Devastators and Gunships, etc. and kill Berserkers as they're chasing my teammates. Sometimes I help my teammates by covering for an escape - like keeping a Hulk or Tank busy while my teammates move on to the next objective.
The Big Brother role's strength is to keeping your teammates alive it has a weakness especially with all the new patrols: You can get cut-off from the team easily.
As I'm trying to support the team so they can move on and because distance-wise I'm not super close to the team, I get surrounded ever more now which means getting isolated is much more likely. When you're in this situation what are your options?
I've seen all three and #1 isn't always an option.
Jerk 1 who kicked me: After answering your SOS, I was saving your butt (and the other sub-level 10 lowbies) on Extreme for 30 minutes, distracting the tank so you guys could run to the next objective without dying, and also destroying the bot factories you completely ignored - not to mention they weren't anywhere close to the extraction which means we'd have to run all the way back to clear them .... and you waited for me to catch up to you to lecture me in your little-dictator-Napoleon-voice "You're level 87 and you've spent the whole time doing nothing. Don't board my ship ever again if you don't want to contribute." And then you kicked me.
Jerk 2 who kicked me: Another SOS. After running around the map trying to find samples (like everyone else) and then finding nothing I then ran to you at Extraction where we both loitered for a minute or two. Then you ran off to go find samples again. I stayed behind for a beat to look at the map then after that I GOT SURROUNDED BY EVERY LIVING BUG ON THE PLANET. I couldn't get an out ANYWHERE and just died. Again with the lecture on mic "Why aren't you doing anything. You're not helping us find samples. You're useless" ... then kick.
If you're going to host a game and call an SOS, yes you get to be a little dictator as much as you want - but know that you DO NOT know everything and you're not omniscient. At best you're an ineffective leader and you ARE contributing to the toxicity of the game, which is the OPPOSITE of the spirit of this whole enterprise - to work as a team.
My advice to you little wannabe fascists - learn some basic leadership skills maybe?
