I’m a little nervous because, though I am deeply infatuated with the idea of a relationship, I have never dated… anyone really. I’m not so much looking for a teacher, but a partner, in life, love, and a lot of trips to the sea - as that’s one of my most beloved special interests. An open field only occupied by pretty flowers! Maybe!
I’m a fit black/Chinese young woman with pretty eyes that can and will stare at you like a puppy dog. I travel a lot for work, but I'm currently in England. I like treats - as well as baking them for my loved ones. I have no kidding given a large supply of cake to my family for months straight. Only after realising what I have done! made them fat.
I live for having fun, but also being straightforward, adoring the small things - like literally, fawning over a tiny bug creature who scurries. I like to find wonder in simplicity.
Pictures are achieved after a good getting along conversation. Otherwise I'd feel like we’re doing a meat inspection, clipboard in hand. I don't think looks-wise I'm anything extraordinary, but I'll offer a small description to filter out those who aren’t into it :•) I have brown skin, black eyes, hip length wavy brown hair. I’m fit, but not athletic and don’t like the gym. But I do competitive swimming, like running outside with dogs, and climbing things.
Sometimes people get confused by my intentions with these posts: I am clearly stating I want to preferably find a life long romantic partner. No games. Just the potential for marriage. I'm pretty sure of what I want, and I'd like that in a partner too.

I picked up DF again, after many years, and it's been great fun playing DFU. I decided to go with the RC being the latest version, so I'm not sure how much of what I'm about to say applies to the release version.
For reference, I have a moderately specced PC:

• Gen 11 i5, 12 cores @ 2.8 Ghz
• Nvidia 1660Ti
• 32GB RAM
• Samsung SSD

Things I've noticed:

• World of Daggerfall adds something like 30-40 seconds of load time from a save, so I no longer use it (it also seems to add excessive lag to Travel Options)
• I love the idea of slow travelling overworld, but the Travel Options mod seems to regularly send me outside of the map where I end up semi-slow travelling to get to a destination anyway
• Bards and Balladeers doesn't seem to work properly, the main quest giver guy in the hall never seems to give quests
• Some taverns with Taverns redone (DREAM version) seem to insta-drop my FPS to exactly half (I play capped vsync 60fps)

Still having heaps of fun, and it's not a very long list of issues, but just things I've noticed.

For the past few weeks, I've been feeling like a very bad Dungeon Master (DM). I run several modules per week for different games (Vampire: The Masquerade and Dungeons & Dragons) in campaigns.
I don't know where this feeling comes from, especially since I still enjoy being a GM just as much. I don't have that sense of burnout or fatigue. I just feel like I'm bad at it, not up to the task.
I'm running "Descent into Avernus," and I feel like I'm not doing my players justice. It seems like they're having a lot of fun, but I constantly have this awful feeling that I'm not doing things right, that I have bad ideas, or that I'm not doing a good job. While I'm online, I read these thread about bad Dms, and bad parties and i alway feel like somehow, I could be the DM in these threads.
Am I the only to feel like this ?

I deleted VRchat and my account the other day. I'm not interested in playing the game anymore. Why are people like this? You chat to someone and they casually drop some rancid racism or transphobia. You constantly get people yelling the N-word. The conversations turn sour so quickly. I don't know how many times I've heard people make just detestable rape "jokes".
How is this a fun game for anyone? Meeting people is like searching for diamonds in the rough, except the rough is pig shit with very 19th century ideas of human rights.

As for the scene context:
My party found the high librarian in the Caves of Hunger who is a Mummy Lord in our game.
The four towers of the library house great abjuration magic / runes / contraptions, which conserved most of the library's insides and whoever was there at the time of the crash. Over the time the saved wizards became either nothics, mummy librarians or on the even more unlucky side crawling claws with the task to transcribe all damaged books (damaged by the fall or the passing of time).
The role of the nothics in Ythrin is already made clear in the campaign book. They roam the city to either be the eye(s) of Iriolarthas or just be insane little creatures.
The mummys were intermediary librarians who took care of the library while the high librarian was imprisioned in the cave of hunger to be save from crazed wizards and other underdark creatures who entered the city compounds. The reason being, that his heart is the source of the abjuration magic which guards the library as well as the wall of force around the central spire. You can find the heart in the rune circle in the middle of the library's ground floor, although the only clue is a small thrumming red light.
On the ground floor your party can also find two study spaces for wizards which are an the left side occupied by transcribing crawling claws and on the right side by a mummy, sweeping the floor. Behind the counter also are more rooms. One map room, filled with quite outdated but still interesting maps of Toril and maybe other planes of existence. Another room for transcribing and maintaining books. And a laboratory to test and create spells and potions.
If you go upstairs you'll find the first floor as some sort of gallery. In the center are tables and stools for studying wizards and on the north wall are reading nooks. Here I put Scrivenscry and Kingsport, accompanied by a crawling claw, serving as a reading light.
Your context may vary and of course you can change up things to your liking :)

Finally managed to release this fic for a long time. The budget isn't all that great, but i got pleasantly surprised when i found the Toyota Auris seemingly checking all the boxes and being available for even less than 15k€ used. After looking at it for a while i found out Toyota was a decade late in adding carplay so even the most modern Auris models don't support AA or Apple Carplay.
I was looking at Toyota cars specifically since they're so reliable buying a used car from them isn't all that risky, and because they're widely available around where i live (Finland).
I would, however, like the car to have AA if we're spending money on a recent-ish model, as otherwise we might as well just get another ~2012 trash heap to save money as from what i've seen Toyota's own entertainment & navigation systems seem pretty worthless. I mainly use Google Maps for navigation, and if the car doesn't have that as an option, i see no point in paying for a fancy touch screen navigation system that i'm never going to use. In that case, Bluetooth audio will be enough, and i'll just use my phone for navigation.
The requirements for the car are as follows:

1. RELIABLE BRAND & MODEL

This is the most important part. If we're buying a used car, we need to be as sure as possible that it's not gonna break down on us for a long, long time, and that we won't need to pay twice the car's price in repairs.

1. General Specs

We are looking for a compact 4-5 seater vehicle for daily- and city driving as well as moderately long drives with a trunk space that can be expanded onto the passenger seats when necessary. It should be compact enough for city driving and parking, but still be able to carry cargo when necessary.
All cars either of us have driven have been manual, but we're willing to give automatic transmission a shot as well! FWD or AWD preferred.

1. Android auto or Bluetooth

As i explained earlier, I see no real point in paying for a touch screen monitor smacked on the console, if it adds nothing to the comfort or practicality of the vehicle. If the car isn't compatible with AA or google maps in some way, all that matters is that it's easy to listen to music wirelessly.

1. Decent audio system

Speaking of listening to music, it would be really nice to be able to enjoy the music as well! Neither of us are audiophiles or anything, but it would be nice if the speakers were good enough to make listening to music while driving fun! :)

1. Fuel

Gasoline or diesel works perfectly, It seems most options fit our needs nowadays are hybrids, which sound great otherwise, but neither of us have any experience with them. We've only heard horror stories about hybrids having reliability issues or being impossible to do routine maintenance to at home (like switching tires), and that they are more likely to fail inspection? I have no idea how true this is but if these are baseless claims, a Hybrid sounds like a great option as well.
Fuel efficiency is a huge plus, though "good" is enough. It doesn't have to be the main focus or anything exceptional. However, the more efficient the car is, the better of course!

No more than 20k EUR (Used), or ~250€/ month. Leasing is also an option but i couldn't find any valid prices around here. Besides, i'm mainly just looking for vehicle suggestions, i can look at deals or sales myself as long as it's roughly in the same price category.
The main reason we want to make sure the car is solid and reliable is so we don't have to pay ourselves sick for it's maintenance. If we're considering leasing, it will be so we can make the dealership pay for any possible wear & tear. Again, we're looking for a used car that will last us a while. ^^

For a party at my work, I was thinking about creating my own custom Match Game game, where there would be two contestants, six panelists, me as the host, and the questions, Super Match, and the head-to-head match at the end would all be shown on a big screen. The panelists would all have a small white board and dry erase marker to write their answers on. It would run just like the TV show, and I want it to be fun for everybody involved. The questions would be related to my work.
I was thinking possibly a Powerpoint/Google Slides/etc. slideshow might be a good tool to use if one doesn't already exist out there somewhere. I could even try to have it automatically play the "think" music after a question is read.
Is there a site or an app or something that would help me create this? Or if I go the slideshow route, any tips you can think of to help make it work?

I have no idea how to make friends. I feel like a missed the window of opportunity completely because I didnt really form a good friend group in the beginning months. Instead I hung out with one person who them completely ghosted me and quit a few months in.
It feels so awkward to just worm my way into an existing group, even if the people in there are super nice and inviting. There is one person who invites me to eat with their group and stuff, which is really nice, but it feels like theyre just taking pity on me. I barely have anything interesting to add because i really dont know these people. Doesnt really help that i have a bad case of face blindness and trouble remembering names, so half the time im just stressing over that lol.
The only people i am sort of friends with (more like study buddies but eh) are a lot older than me so we have practically nothing in common.
I try to go do social things like go to parties, but it often just ends up with me just sitting on my own. Trying to go out and have fun just feels so dumb because i just end up scanning the floor for someone i kind of know, then i just invade their space for a bit, dancing but never really talking to anyone in particular. Good day all. Level 68 here, I only play on Level 7-9. (modifier dependent)
Ship 24/24 and at 199.3hours. (Will make 200hrs today)
As such I have sort developed my load out preference already. And while on bots and bugs I have very different loadouts, I feel the game SHOULD have more distinctive damage when fighting different factions.
Case 1, Poison damage:

• to be honest, if our exo-suit is not affected, I have a hard time feeling any bots would too.
• some say bots has a 'human brain' and that's why vuln to poison, but then they already vuln vacuum of space, kinda hard to see how 'poison can seep in'.
• proposing a x0.5 damage to bots.
• and maybe a x 1.5 damage to bugs.
• a future armor passive that can degate 80% of poison damage can be a warbond idea too.

Case 2, Electric damage:

• from Arc thrower etc. These should be much more effective on Bots than bugs.
• propose a 1.2x damage on bots.
• and Orbital electric shock that can damage will also be fun to have. (like a high voltage bolt)

Case 3, Fire damage:

• from Flamethrower etc. These should be much more effective on Bugs than bots.
• propose a 1.2x damage on bugs
• Still waiting for an armor passive that gives fire resistance. (even if just 25% resist)

Changes here can make people's loadout much more interesting when going in, as there are more weakness to explore. Will go as far as thinking there can be even more strategem with Poison damage. (which will suck for teammates without protection.) But will be on theme with how tesla tower work etc.
Very sure when the Ilumate shows up, they will have their own unique weaknesses too, and will be hoping our SHIP/Weapons can have more diversity if each faction has more exploitable weakness.

Ok so, I can’t summon anyone, yes I’ve done it all, I’ve done all the troubleshooting, it seems like a total glitch, and no it’s not like “it won’t let me summon when I press the gold signs..” BRO I wish I saw the gold signs, they don’t show up
Last year I think? (Yes this has been going on for a year now, or maybe a bit more, hasn’t been fixed since) I went to the Beyond the Fog sub, for me to summon someone through that reddit since furlcalling does nothing, yet still, I did everything I was supposed to, yet not even them could join, they were surprised too, saying they don’t even know what could be causing this. Had to defeat Mali on my own, then after that deleted the game and quit,
I came back after a few months later and HEY I actually got someone! But I knew something was up, since it was just them, not a single other gold sign so I knew I wasn’t out of the woods, before this bs I used to get so many gold signs it didn’t even matter who i summoned or if i died lol, it was just fun.. now, well.. anyway they helped me defeat Godfrey and then I took another loong break, cut to now, a couple days ago i actually got someone, though I still knew I wasn’t free from this torture cuz it was one single gold sign, 3 times in a row, the same person.
Nothing works and I give up lol, anyone at least have some sort of idea what this could be? A little? If it counts for anything this started after deleting one of my save files, after I deleted that character and started a new one, this happened
Also yes my internet is fine, I can see other players, bloodstains, make messages, and all that, I also can’t be summoned, like co op is completely off, but not online, just the co op side of things, how infuriating.

hello! i’m planning my 21st birthday party & am a bit nervous as i’ve never planned or hosted on my own before, so i’m seeking some help!
i’ve coined myself as the “vampire princess fairy mermaid” and am planning on using that as the theme. basically, each guest shows up dressed as either a vampire, princess, fairy, or mermaid! i’m trying to figure out how to design an invitation that incorporates all four of those elements, though. that’s where i’m struggling. if anyone has any ideas of a fun or whimsical way to design invites, i’d be thankful to hear it!

What are some of y’all’s favorite sensory toys/items? I’m in the market for a variety because I’ve noticed it’s really becoming necessary for me to engage in sensory activities.
I currently have this little beaded keychain from 5 below that I’ve had fun playing with and a super cool chainmail covered stress ball I bought at the renfaire that I looooove.
On my list to buy are water beads (the ones that expand in water. Was a huge favorite of mine as a kid), slime, and some more traditional style stress balls but I was curious for more ideas.
I seem to really enjoy texture ones and I know I’ll love anything I can do “messy” play with but not actually get dirty (for example I know I’d love to stick my hands in a can of paint but not fond of the clean up)

So this is kind of a just for fun thing but I had the idea of it mainly going to Pokemon stuck in SS's ZU since I do think the ideas I had in mind would highly benefit from getting these moves. Though some Pokemon in higher tiers would get it as well. Also keep in mind most of these would be variants of pre-existing moves.

So these are the Special Weapons of Mega Man that I converted into Pokemon Moves. Who is going to benefit the most from these.
Will any of them be enough to get the Pokemon in ZU out of there?
Who would be knocked down a tier?
What Pokemon in National Dex would benefit the most from getting any of these moves.

Disclaimer: This is largely baseless and is my own imagination. I don't intend to further division between anyone, but this thought occured to me last night and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it since.
So, with the release of Down With The System, we have a better idea of what was happening with SOAD all along (from Serj's perspective). He states that Daron had a controlling aura on situations and the band (not surprising to me if you go back and watch some old interviews), and that he should have stood up to Daron while SOAD were at their height pre-hiatus. He also describes how Daron and John sort of formed a tag team inside SOAD, with John pushing for Serj's return and being passive towards Daron's control over the band (despite Serj having tried to make it more equal for John). This maybe explains why John went with Daron to do Scars On Broadway initially.
It also, unfortunately, seems to confirm that Daron really was an ass to John during those early SOAD years, with him trying to get John removed from the band on several occasions and with them getting into a fight while recording Toxicity. With this in mind, it makes watching the behind-the-scenes video for the self-titled a rough experience because Daron and Serj are constantly making fun of him.
Moreover, it gives us a glimpse into just how badly Serj ended up feeling trapped and stunted by SOAD. He says that he felt a sense of responsibility over Daron but was also kind of at the mercy of Daron, and has basically confirmed that he described SOAD as 'Tyranny Of A Down' his song 'Money'. He also believes that the band's manager (perhaps in collision with other band members, but maybe not) sabotaged his solo music opportunities because they would remove him from SOAD.
With this all in mind: what if Serj wanted some form of petty revenge back in 2008/2009 and achieved this by equally sabotaging and stunting Daron's own band (in the same way as he felt sabotaged)? I mean, think about it:
1). We know that Daron was writing songs that could be either SOAD or Scars songs, with the hope that Serj would return at some point and they could become SOAD songs.
2). Daron released Scars' first album in 2008, which makes sense given SOAD's split in 2006, but Dictator wasn't released until 2018 because Daron was holding out hope that Serj would return. In turn, this really stunted Scars. Daron was unable to put out any new songs (fearing that he would release them and then lose the potential for them to be SOAD tracks), and then this only made touring the band even harder to justify as they'd be playing the same album only for multiple tours.
What if Serj knew he was never going to return full-time to SOAD all the way back in 2008/2009? What if he kept maintaining it's possibility to stunt Scars? Without Serj's confirmation, Daron couldn't have known what to do with his music and the band stagnated.
Plus, Dictator just so happens to be released a year after Serj has confirmed that he told SOAD to find a new vocalist... Maybe, that was the final confirmation Daron needed to release the music he had as Scars songs and give up on a SOAD return.
