Monay talks stunts stream

I am making a PowerPoint presentation on DougDoug and Rosa for a group of friends. What are some "musts" for me to include?

2024.06.09 18:41 Magnasimia I am making a PowerPoint presentation on DougDoug and Rosa for a group of friends. What are some "musts" for me to include?

Some items I already have addressed in my slides:
The 2022 stream was the stream I had the pleasure of catching live, so I am most familiar with that one and will focus a lot of talking points on what I remember.
I didn't catch the 2020 and 2021 streams, are there moments in these streams you think are worth including (aside from the amount raised)? Either because they are hilarious or because they demonstrate the community's adoration for Rosa?
Any other moments in the Doug/Rosa arc that you think I absolutely should include?

2024.06.09 18:35 philipmather Kit and setup for live streaming nearshore racing

A few years ago Garmin had some kit that would overlay data from your sports watch onto one of their cameras and stream it. By time I found it, the support had become "ropey", like it wasn't hugely advertised any more and people didnt rate the while setup. The other thing is I don't think it was waterproof, I think it was aimed primarily at cyclists and the only waterproof/dive case they did for it got absolutely slated, I want to use mine on a SUP race board so... we're talking full salt water immersion and potentially under pressure from getting barrelled by waves so... that was a non starter. SUP racing has evolved a little, there's regular streaming commentary on Facebook but I would like, as a racer to 360 stream live from my board and provide overlay of my heart rate etc... Given current pro-am kit is this feasible for say sub £1000? I can strap a peli/waterproof case to my board very reliably with phone and or other devices in. We tend to only get maybe 500m offshore or even just down rivers but can also have laptops, motohomes and crew on beach with kit if needed. Racing time is typically 1 to 2 hours for battery life.
Basically I'm looking to see if it's worth dropping £500 odd as a PoC next season, ideally I'd like something thats pretty fire and forget. Press a button at the start and end or even just keyed off my garmin fenix but I'd be happy with something a lot more MVP. For reference I'm a computer Engineer and experienced SUP instructor.

2024.06.09 18:25 ayic Rational discussion on the 75m share offering

Long time lurker and x,xxx holder here, have been buying and holding for the past 3 years. This is the first time for me to post something on reddit except for my DRS post. I can't quite wrap my head around on the recent 75m share offering and would like to invite you all for a rational discussion.
I can think of some scenarios whereby an additional 75m offering is needed on top of the 45m, but they all point to poor planning (I am not here to bash Ryan Cohen and the board, I think they did a great job to turn the business around and I am still planning to keep on buying and holding, I only want visibility on the direction that the company is going)
Scenario 1
Gamestop was in talk with a potential acquisition target, say "Company A", and they did not have enough cash, therefore the 45m offering. The initial offer was to purchase less than 100% stake, but as the conversation goes GME wanted to own more stake, and hence the additional 75m ATM on Friday.
Scenario 2
On top of Company A, Gamestop had found another acquisition target ("Company B") shortly after the 45m offering. And the M&A process for Company B is going on a very fast pace and the 75m offering is needed to raise additional cash as the deal is closing soon.
Scenario 3
Gamestop wanted to capitalize on the short-term upward movement on share price and hence the 1st round of offering. After that a little while and it seems the price is coming back up again, they would like to further capitalize on that again by doing another round of offering.
Scenario 3 is the least scenario that I would like to see, however, scenario 1 & 2 seems highly unlikely.
I think it's understandable for the first round of offering, it takes money to buy whisky I get that. The board's goal is to make the company profitable and create value for shareholders, and I do not think MOASS in on their agenda list, which is completely fine. After all we are fighting different but the same battle - to destroy the short thesis and give a big fuck you to SHF. However I would be very disappointed if the board do not have a concrete plan/imminent need to make use of the additional 3-4bn, and further diluted the stock just because they see the price goes up.
After the 2 rounds of share offering, Gamestop should be sitting at 4-5bn cash, which will offer them plenty of options to perform acquisition. Let's say Gamestop funds the transaction by cash for 50% of the consideration, rest are funded by debt, combined with earn-outs and deferred consideration and what not, they could be acquiring targets with 8-10bn market cap. To put this into perspective, Capcom market cap is 8bn; Ubisoft's market cap is 3.3bn, GME's market cap is 9.9bn.
The question is which company should GME acquire, such that they can diversify their revenue stream and/or create synergy effect. It also makes acquisition harder when GME is such a controversial company as other companies might not want to have any sort of affiliation with GME, therefore even if with the right price, target companies' owner might not want to sell (assume GME is not doing hostile takeover).
With all that said, I really really really want GME to succeed and make good use with that huge pile of cash, and as a heavily invested shareholder (over 80% of my net worth is invested in GME), I would like the board to communicate their plan with us. It has been too long that they kept silent and I think retail deserve to know the game plan here, given the 25% dilution and 3 years worth of DRS effort had been wiped out just like that.

2024.06.09 18:21 writerofjots AW, MADE YOU LOOK!

AW, MADE YOU LOOK!
I think it has been well established what Kitty was doing with his live stream. It was the Kansas City Shuffle. He proved this by wearing a wrist brace and arm sling, just like Bruce Willis did in Lucky Number Slevin. While the world thought they were seeing one thing—a silly degenerate gambler who wasn't taking anything seriously—Kitty was walking the SHFs right into a trap, proving that they were manipulating the market, live on stream.
This is also why he started the stream late. That deep red candle at exactly 12, when he was supposed to start but didn't, was pretty telling. He even had TV hosts tuned in pretty irate. They kept blaming Kitty for showing up 28 minutes late to his own live stream.
Technically, he wasn't 28 minutes late. The stream started after 25 minutes, but after the disclaimers and cute pictures of kittens, we didn't actually see that face of his until 28 minutes later.
Hmmmm.... Wait a minute. Let's look at that tweet again.
It starts off like this, asking us if we want to play a game (A game the hedgies are definitely going to lose).
https://preview.redd.it/md7yhipvlk5d1.png?width=2880&format=png&auto=webp&s=617d7c7eeec00f38b202836d7bf242f42b7f7865
Next, we get asked if we are watching closely.
https://preview.redd.it/adavpvramk5d1.png?width=2880&format=png&auto=webp&s=ef5892d719e02ae74551cb9f7d856a07ecdb54b5
Because for those not watching closely, the stream looked like a farce, a gag. But there was much more going on beyond the surface. But as the movie 'The Prestige' tells us:
"Now you’re looking for the secret, but you wont find it, because of course you’re not really looking. You don’t really want to know. You want to be fooled.”
I think that we can agree that Kitty also was the perfect example of another line from the movie:
“The magician takes the ordinary something and makes it do something extraordinary.”
That livestream could have been ordinary, but it was anything but. There were hidden clues throughout, even with the beer can and the green screen. You think he didn't expect that? What did he say?
"You can't see it, but it's green" with the chart projected onto the can because of the green screen. Yeah, we can't see it yet, but the chart is green.
Then even better (Thank you Agathor for this tip!), scroll to exactly 7:41 of his live stream and listen to what he says. I'm not gonna tell you. Go see for yourself.
Ok, so, then we get to the meat of the tweet:
https://preview.redd.it/94j1m8iwmk5d1.png?width=2880&format=png&auto=webp&s=5dc0890d5a87063e65d3856fa99cfbc920f507e3
The Kansas City Shuffle.
Everyone's been talking about this, but this is not how the tweet ends. The tweet then shifts to the last scene:
https://preview.redd.it/w8e8evk0nk5d1.png?width=2870&format=png&auto=webp&s=0045ba60d6283bc6ba94b0c6eebda2acdcdd2a68
When does it shift to this scene? At exactly 28 seconds into the tweet.
When did Kitty show up in his stream? Exactly 28 minutes into the stream.
AW, MADE YOU LOOK!

2024.06.09 18:16 Kekktye A Sourced History of My Chemical Romance's Lost Songs Rediscovered Nine Volt Heart Info

This is a repost with new info, corrections and better formatting. Thanks for previous contributions! <3
I've seen quite a few "All lost My Chemical Romance songs" and "My Chemical Romance rarities" posts, but they mostly all either:
A: Conflate "Lost" with "Rare" or "Not studio-produced" B: Aren't Sourced C: Incomplete D: Have disinfo E: Mistakenly include working titles for later released tracks as "lost"
So, here we go! I've gotten most of my info from a few archives and long-time fans in the community but I would love to hear any additions you have to add! The more eyes the better!
For clarity: Bullets = I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love Revenge = Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge LOTMS = Life on the Murder Scene TBP = The Black Parade TBPID = The Black Parade Is Dead! DD = Danger Days CW = Conventional Weapons TPK = The Paper Kingdom MDNSY = May Death Never Stop You
Tracks are listed in supposed creation order, then by discovery or release Nine Volt Heart aka Android [..?] - Song title found in now-lost Flash player elements of My Chemical Romance's official site going back to at least 5/25/2002. According to a 2011 text interview by Cassie The Venomous with Gerard and Mikey, the song was played once live at NJ's Loop Lounge to bad reactions from the band and poor fanfare and as a result shelved from future releases. Later possibly reworked into an unreleased song named "'Android...' something?". Though according to a 2004 post by SpaceRaygun, a long-time friend of the band, Nine Volt Heart was instead reworked onto a Revenge track. Fandom rumors going back to at least 5/3/2006 claim Nine Volt Heart was a cover of the Smashing Pumpkins' song Bodies albeit with slightly different lyrics. Although the poster's source songmeanings.net has since taken down the potentially false lyrics page.
The Attic Demos aka Dreams \of/about]) Stabbing and/or Being Stabbed - A CD Distributed at early shows and among the band's circle. Later partially released on 2014's MDNSY, though these demos circulated the fandom pre-2014 from these promotional CDs.
Wish You Away aka Drowning Lessons Rough Mix - If community sources are to be believed (1) (2) (3) (4)) (5) a variant of The Attic Demos distributed among friends and family of the band contains recordings of 'Vampires Will Never Hurt You' titled "Stabbing" and 'Drowning Lessons' titled "Wish You Away" (Pre-release titles corroborated by the early instances of My Chemical Romance's website).
Stabbing aka Vampires Will Never Hurt You Demo - Found as of July 23rd, 2022. Demo released via Instagram from for Bullet's 20th anniversary. This CD was given to Nada Recording in 2002 prior to their recording of Bullets. Clip is partially cut off and downloaded through Instagram API.
Early Sunsets Over Monroeville Demo - An Attic Demo found by SpaceRaygun with an Early Sunsets Over Monroeville recording not included on MDNSY. Included in notable bootlegs such as Self-titled MP3 Collection released 2010. ~Fake demo debunked by (Friend of Matt Pelissier) and SpaceRaygun (The track's original source).
Sister to Sleep - One of the earliest songs written for Revenge, revealed in a 2003 interview as conceptualized for The Freddy vs. Jason Soundtrack before licensing fell through. It was re-conceptualized around The Sandman series of comics, where sleep is anthropomorphized as the titular Sandman, and his sister as Death. In its released form, the lyrics explore sleep as an analogy for death and themes of insomnia and institutionalization. Ultimately, the track was cut from release by producer Howard Benson. Two live recordings (1) (2) of this song have circulated the fandom for a number of years, with one found more recently all from the same show played in NYC's the Knitting Factory on 6/26/2003. On 10/17/2022, it was played once more in Inglewood during the RETURN Tour, albeit slightly different lyrics. Later, Frank spoke on a 2023 interview about using live footage for practice, likely explaining the difference in lyrics. In 2013 the band had stated in an interview potentially none of the members still possessed a copy of Sister to Sleep's demo recording (A claim still supported by Frank in a 2022 interview) except possibly for a soundcheck library recording Mikey was given from the Knitting Factory show. With renewed interest in the song, Matt Pelissier was asked via Twitter about the track. If community sources \1]) \2]) are to be believed, a Twitter user "Martin" asked Gerard the whereabouts and existing number of these demos, Gerard would share that they lost the only existing copy moving from coast to coast a number of years ago. Martin then asked Matt about the demos to corroborate Gerard's story, which prompted Matt to reveal more info. Matt claimed he was given an additional copy of Sister to Sleep, as were all of the band members, their studio and their label. Fans supposedly questioned his demo's legitimacy. (1) (2) (3) Matt then posted three 15 second clips of the track to his Instagram. These clips were DMCA claimed by Warner and Matt was threatened with potential legal action if he continued copyright violations. However, fans downloaded these clips before they were taken down. (1) (2) Afterwards, Matt was asked via text conversations by his Revenir bandmate u/dansplayslol11 after hearing the track if he still intended on leaking it. Matt explained that he didn't intend on releasing them being content as the apparent sole owner of the demo.
Manhattan Demos aka A-Demos - In 2013 the band had stated in an interview Sister to Sleep's studio recording existed on the "Manhattan Demos" or "A-Demos" as Ray called them that also contained demo material later released on LOTMS. Screenshots of other production tracklists around this time have also been leaked and released by several sources including Revenge producer Howard Benson. (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) (6)
I'm Not Okay (I Promise) Demo - A 1 minute 4 second Clip of an I'm Not Okay demo uploaded by the YouTube channel AJ Serna in 2012 which contains the line "And never mind the drugs you took" instead of Revenge's release version "The photographs your boyfriend took" with notably worse recording quality. This lyric was likely remnants from when the song served as the conclusion to the album with a spoken word outro by Daryl Palumbo \Of Glassjaw, Head Automatica] and is more in-line with) early production takes of the song.
Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge Instrumentals - Instrumental versions of all 13 original Revenge tracks can be heard as backing tracks for the duration of LOTMS. Never released as a stand-alone instrumental promotional album unlike TBP.
Someone Out There Loves You - Released as a live performance on the official TBPID DVD as Track 30 with a live video. Unofficially titled 'Stay' by fans before its official title was revealed by Gerard on Twitter. Frank revealed in an interview with The Music that the song had a studio demo but "lyrical reservations" prevented its release.
MCRBlog 09' Demos - Throughout 2009, the band would post an occasional series titled 'Practice Cam' where they'd take photos and videos of whiteboards containing song titles. Fans like Cassie the Venomous were able to decipher some of these titles, and later corroborate them with at-the-time newly released live performances. (What was initially titled 'Siren Song' as a live performance eventually released as 'AMBULANCE', ect.) However, some of these teased titles never received accompanying live material. These include:
"Still Alive" \Also detailed in) this interview.\) "Teenage Girl" "Pretty [..?]" "Monster Jam" \This could be in reference to the video game 'Monster Jam: Masters of Mayhem' of which 'I'm Not Ok)' appeared as an in-game track).\)
Hell Hath No Fury - This track was apparently credited to My Chemical Romance (1) (2) for 2012's The Man With The Iron Fists but never appeared on the movie's soundtrack. It's theorized this track midway through the film is a snippet of the track.
The Paper Kingdom - Proceeding DD's touring cycle, the My Chemical Romance began work on their 5th studio record before scrapping the album due to burnout, depression and unhealthy habits. (1) (2) Some of this material was likely posted by a user named Excalibur and sold for $10k+ on the leaked music website Leaked.cx in late September 2022. Snippets of these tracks with added auditory watermarks were provided by the leaker for legitimacy from tracks with the filenames "Dark Cloud", "Witch" and "Wake Up!". However, these clips were taken down by Warner both on leaked.cx and on other sites' reposts, likely validating the leak's legitimacy. One track recognized by Warner's automatic content ID system was entitled "Paper Swords" by My Chemical Romance.
The Foundations of Decay Sessions - According to comments by Excalibur made under leaked.cxs TPK leak, they also possessed demo sessions for the My Chemical Romance's 2022 release The Foundations of Decay. It was unclear whether these sessions were also purchased and vaulted alongside TPK's leak by the same or another buyer.
... These aren't exactly "lost", only \notable]) live performances with no evidence of official or studio variants: FYI, any of these songs can be heard with a simple YouTube or Internet Archive search \if I don't already link a primary or secondary source here.)
Everybody Tie Your Shoe - Stage banter on TBP's 2007 tour. Released on the 'Fans of Compilations' bootleg album in 2008.
The Drugs - A scrapped song played live sometime during 2009 during the Summer Sonic Festival. Later never released alongside the other CW-era singles or later DD material. Released as a live track on 'Still Chemical Dependency' bootleg album in 2009.
Everybody Hates the Eagles aka Kill Em' All aka DD Jam Session - A DD-era Jam Session repurposed for the My Chemical Romance's 2022-2023 tour and given lyrics with a variety of concluding lines rhyming or spinning on the phrase "Everybody Hates the Eagles". (1) (2) (3) (4)
... These aren't in any sense "lost". Some just aren't on streaming services, just obscure or with no official release: FYI, any of these songs can be heard with a simple YouTube or Internet Archive search \if I don't already link a primary or secondary source here.)
Jack the Ripper (cover) - Live cover of Morrissey's song released on the EP Like Phantoms, Forever in 2002 including live banter, then later released as a cut-down version on the Thank You for the Venom 7" in 2004. Often mistaken for separate live and studio tracks such as mislabeling on the Self-titled MP3 Collection and other MP3 archives.
Give Em' Hell, Kid Alt. Version - An alternate version of Give Em' Hell, Kid from iTunes.
Under Pressure (cover) - Cover of Queen and David Bowie's song as a collaboration with The Used made for release as a single and a bonus track for The Used's 2004 release 'In Love and Death'.

Desert Song - Complete studio track intended for Revenge, released exclusively on LOTMS.
Song 2 (cover) - Cover of Blur's song released on Radio 1's Live Lounge Album in 2006.
The Black Parade Instrumentals - Promotional CDr distributed to advertisers alongside TBP in 2006.
The Black Parade: The B-Sides - Includes My way Home Is Through You, Kill All Your Friends and Heaven Help Us. Released as a stand-alone b-side album in 2009 including bonus tracks released alongside TBP in 2006.
Desolation Row (cover) - Cover of Bob Dylan's song for release with Watchmen (2009) with an accompanying promotional music video set in the Watchmen universe.
All I Want for Christmas Is You (cover) - Cover of Mariah Carey's song for 2009's Christmas compilation album Gift Wrapped: 20 Songs That Keep On Giving.
We Don't Need Another Song About California - Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys iTunes Deluxe bonus track.
Zero Percent - Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys Japanese bonus track.
Sing Single - Radio edit and instrumental single of Sing released in 2010.
The Mad Gear and Missile Kid EP - Collection of songs written during DD's production (Black Dragon Fighting Society being written before DD), intended to be My Chemical Romance's in-universe proxy. Released with DD's 2010 box set and released digitally for the first time in 2022.
Bulletproof Heart Single - Radio edit and instrumental single of Bulletproof Heart released in 2011.
Planetary (GO!) Remixes - Planetary (GO!) single remixes by Lags Gallows & Vasquez/Gorman released in 2011.
Common People (cover) - Cover of Pulp's song for BBC Radio 1, Released on the 2011 The Only Hope For Me Is You EP.
Every Snowflake is Different (Just Like You) - A track made for the show Yo' Gabba Gabba in 2011. Made alongside a music video featured on the show. Notably similar to S/C/A/E/C/O/W and preformed live by My Chemical Romance on tour the same year.
#SINGItForJapan - Full orchestral Japanese instrumental version of SING following earthquakes and tsunamis that devastated Japan in 2011. Released as a single alongside a YouTube upload and merchandise to raise money for Japanese charities.
The Kids from Yesterday Remixes - Australian-exclusive box set released 2012 including remixes from Dan P. Carter, Lags Gallows and Vazquez/Gorman.
Fake Your Death - The first track on May Death Never Stop You and released as a single. Theorized as originally made for TPK. Aside: I hear his VERY widely talked about as a fact, butthe main article citedis mistakenly referencing Gerard's solo work. As likely as this rumor is, there is no evidence.
Black Parade / Living with Ghosts - Black Parade's 10-year anniversary release including a variety of TBP demos both scrapped and reworked onto the 2006 release.
Welcome to the Black Parade (Steve Aoki 10th Anniversary Remix) - Remix of Welcome to the Black Parade by Steve Aoki for TBP's 10th Anniversary.
... Specific thanks to u/mj2000p, u/Tongara, u/danplayslol11, SpaceRaygun and Party in the affiliated My Chemical Romance Discord for previous edits. To see the edits check out my original post.
Please do not harass or beg band members or those affiliated with the band for unreleased material. Archival efforts are important but many of these songs fall under copyright and/or hold great personal value. Be respectful in reaching out to potential leads.
If anyone has better sources, anything else to correct or add I'd love to add to what I have and will credit.
Thanks for all the help! <3 Happy 20 years to Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge! :3

~Part 3 Luna~
A woman like Chang’e lived on a moon. Far away.
You can refer to me as Luna.
At the age of 19 I was diagnosed with a severe nerve pain condition. It is called trigeminal neuralgia but you can call it TN for ease.
I was frustrated. I had completed a degree in international finances from Chongqing University of Business and Technology. The boom of the economy was not the same. There was an urge to “lay flat”—to not try as a form of opposition to everything going on in a waning economy in China.
All are elephants chained for an audience. People love to peek and stare as though they are glass doors without hinges—to be made feel useless.
I developed TN at the age of 19, and was now 22. It came as an arrow, and quite literally to the face. It’s a rare nerve pain disorder often considered one of the most painful conditions known.
The illness involves intense nerve pain throughout the left side of my face. It felt like someone was trying to pull all of the teeth on the left side of my face without anesthesia. The pain can leave me falling to the floor unable to speak or move while screaming profanities while choked by pain. A feeling of a knife to my face over and over again. It leaves me in absolute shock. Like Roman candles to the face. An absolute hindrance. The anticipation of not knowing when it will happen again is a nightmare at times.
The disease is often called the suicide disease, apparently up to 26% try to take their lives. In a state of panic during one of the nerve attacks I began swallowing any pill near to me. I went to the hospital to have my stomach pumped when I was found comatose by my mother.
I want to be Chang’e and on the moon and away from a world I have had enough of.
Gossip spread around the workplace that I attempted suicide over an affair with a married man. There was too much guilt to return to the workplace. COVID did have an impact to the economy. I still remember my hometown having dirt and trees piled onto the exits and entrances to the city keep people in their places.
The work I did find felt beneath me. China has what is called the great firewall that keeps something in and out of the country’s networks. A VPN was necessary to access American TikTok as it was used as opposed to the Chinese version.
Feels humiliating the nature of the outcome for me—I gave up in many ways like so many Chinese youth. For work I would go to a local office building. Amongst a long hall would be rooms for live stream performers. I would entertain with watchers while trying to obtain virtual gifts for actual money. I despised it—sometimes the conversation could be funny or interesting but it felt hollow.
I would paint flowers on my face and wear hanfu clothing while doing ASMR. Competing in battles while dress cute and facing off with others. I would encourage and flatter those that send virtual gifts that could be exchanged for gifts. I would message and ask for WeChat account numbers to talk to them and I would be an emotional prostitute pretending to love and be interested in them for the hopes of more gifts. Methods of manipulation would be used as in begging, guilt tripping a viewer, and love bombing them. Often middle aged men would pretend to be the female host.
I had a mind of sparklers burning until it burnt and stung like wax—like I had the option to stop and cry and those tears stuck as wax and burnt or I soldiered on and grew accustomed to the pain. I was an elephant chained. The audience watched and interacted with me on the live. I was a chained elephant when it was found out about my previous attempt and when the rumors spread.
Too many thorns in life. Nails hitting at the wrong points like an equation for something terrible to eventually happen—a life set to end in misery—a fate.
My favorite dish was Henan noodles. I often cooked it with my mom. It provides great memories of childhood. I hadn’t talked to my mother as much as before. She moved to a job in Taiyuan.
Sometimes I would go up to visit her. But it was harder as she worked more and more hours. Sometimes voids build even when going through extreme nerve pain. And with trigeminal neuralgia, the pain was so intense that I would freeze and scream in pain. It cannot always be hid. It made me an elephant tethered.
Life can be like a pressure like no other. Too much stress. Makes one feel irritable with a mouth like a sprinkler of napalm when someone is too close. Life feels like a lit fire cracker held—in the end it would tear my hand up. Things kept building while the other side of my face began to hurt too recently. This was rare and not so common. My eyesight was becoming blurry too and it seemed I might have multiple sclerosis as the pain was on both side, it was not common for my age, and the blurry eyesight. An appointment was scheduled and I felt terrified to know what was going on and wondered if it was best to not even know my health.
I walked out of the studio and had a cigarette. My boss came out and joined to talk. He was concerned about view count and wanted me to do things to increase it that made me feel uncomfortable. He made a few comments I found incentive.
The boss sure liked to criticize and apply pressure. He was not impressed with my work and thought I could do something different. In China an application is used called WeChat. This application has many uses. People can display and share moments like a Facebook wall, message each other, send money, video chat, and even has a feature to find people near to you who are also looking for people near to them. I was to attract people onto dates. The idea was they would be lured in and the men would go to a set destination to a planned tea house that served snacks. When the men arrived (they had no knowledge of the setup) the bill would be at an absurd rate and if the men refused to pay larger men would use their size to force them to pay up.
I was not sure at the time yet if I wanted the job. Being worried about ethics and safety. It was something I would have to think about.
My medical expenses were growing and I knew the nerve disease could be expensive to treat with surgery. All I had was thoughts while looking at the moon.

~Final~
I watched Luna from Zhengzhou. On a screen. My name is Luo. I tap away on my phone in a dormitory in a Foxconn factory. I was a migrant worker from Luoyang in the province of Henan. My wife was in Guangzhou and I was in Zhengzhou. Far from each other. We could not be together. We were migrant workers. In China we use Hukos—a government document used to list family members like a tree—and it determine where you were tied to geographically. I could only get access to government resources if residing in your home province that your family originates from. This meant my daughter could only go to school in the province and city she originates from. I was stuck in zhengzhou at a Taiwanese own factory making iPhones. It was during the pandemic. COVID and restrictions. Felt claustrophobic. Could not leave the factory grounds due to orders. But my alienation was okay—manageable. I did it via numbing myself via sending virtual gifts to Luna. Like a noose around my neck in debt.
Workers were getting mad because we weren’t being paid our allowances. And we found ourselves restricted to staying with workers who were positive for the virus. Anger was growing. And I was feeling upset like everyone else. Isolated on a moon with Luna to talk to.
Pressure grew—discontent. People rushed to the courtyard where people in hazmat suits came with batons to face a mob of angry workers. Shouting and throwing of projectiles. Chaos grew. I stood amongst them just as angry. Fists clenched.
The feeling towards Luna was polar to the situation at hand. I figured I would be pulled apart into shreds. Hooks everywhere. A piñata to be busted with all my anger and frustrations to fall out like candy for Luna to eat on. In three weeks I grew exhausted and found my own moon off the edge of a bridge —parasitical love is thin.

21 days
So I haven’t heard anyone talk about this as of recently, but do y’all remember when Billie’s HMHAS account posted ‘21 days’ on one of the streaming parties? I don’t know what it could be referring too and I’m not 100% sure what date this streaming party was, I took a screenshot of it when I saw it on TikTok dating 19th may. 21 days from the I 19th is June 10th. June 10th is literally TOMORROW. If anyone knows the date of this streaming party please let us know but I’m pretty sure it was the 19th. So like what’s y’all’s theories?? (I’ve never posted here before so if I did anything wrong I’m so sorry 🫶🏼) looks like we maybe might be getting something tomorrow guyssss 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

2024.06.09 17:34 darkarts__ Node.js Core Concept without any Frameworks

NOTE = "Skip to 9th Paragraph for the meat";
I've been doing Cododev's Node.js core concept course after hearing very great things about it in this sub. I'm a big fan of - - low level programming - rebuilding framework from scratch - diving deeper into source code
I've worked as a Data Scientist and an Application Developer (Flutter). Dart has a strong backend support but since I was a complete beginner in Backend, it was hard for me to straight away start with Adapters, Middlewares and Routing.
I tried express but it felt like cheating. When I say app = Express() I get a server. What the fuck is a server??? With Firebase and Cloud, I was getting even more confused.
I wanted to learn Go, Axum, Spring, Node and I was evaluating - actually wasting time without learning anything because everywhere they were using some framework which felt like a black box and I needed a low level guide that ensures i become a backend master by the end of it.
Characteristic of a good course is it just doesn't teach you the code, it teaches you the algorithm and constructs which you could use in any language or tool you wish and that's when I found out about Cododev.
Why I decided to go with his Node. js course - 1. It was talking about basics before even touching HTTP for 30 hours. 2. He talked about TCP for 9 hours, HTTP for 9 hours, Taught UNix and C for 8 hours and a lot more... it's 50+ hour course. 3. You shouldn't measure a course by its length, so here's the projects which that course has -
Course isn't complete yet, moduls that are left are - 1. Encryption and Cryptography 2. Worker Threads (and multi threading? I don't know if Node is multi threaded, but whatever sort of Parallelism you could achieve with Isolates) 3. Security 4. Taking a huge open source project and Reimplementing the backend in the framework we started building from HTTP section.
What have I learned -
I now understand Binary, Hex, encoding ,ASCII, unicode(utf-8,16,32,..n), bytes, bits, how they relate to each other.
I understand the event emitters.. Events, .on(), .emit(), and could easily read docs for any such structure like Servers( they're EEs)
I understand Streams, How data is moved across places through memory, storage and network. I understand processing(CPU%), disk usage, and memory usage (of node's + high watermark value).
I understand Readable, Writable, Duplex and Transform Streams, and could implement them without the functions provided on file handle and I could manage and tweak how much memory or processing any Stream would use.
I understand about internal writable/readable buffers, buffer overflow, sync and async passage, safe/ unsafe streams, data event, end event, error event, drain event. Pausing, Resuming and Destroying a stream.
And at the end, piping and pipelines because that's the battle tested way but now I know both of those works and could even tweak source code at will.
Requests, Response, TCP Connection, Socket - they are all Streams.
Literally the bit level control over data, processing and memory - he taught me that.
I understand File Systems very well. On a server and on a client device. With streams, you could create a fully functional File system which can copy, move, delete, rename, create, etc. We did that.
Then he started with Networking. That was a journey. For hours he talked about followup things - 1. Internet 2. How it works 3. Communication 4. Wired Communication through Cables(he already taught us streams which is how communication or movement of data happen in memory and internal storage) 5. Switch, Cables, IP Addresses, Mac Addresses, Routers 6. Networking Layers and IANA. 7. Physical Layer, Data Link Layer, IP/Network Layer, TCP/ Transport Layer, and Application Layer. 8. DNS, IP Addresses - IPv4 and IPv6. Ports.
I'm sure I have missed something but you get the gist.. Now the course started properly. We started talking about TCP.
He literally went into Specifications, Headers, and on the wireshark captured the segments and made me understand how data flows throughout the entire world. I learnt about TCP Server in net module. It's events and methods. Clients(Socket Connection).
We then very casually hosted this Server on AWS. Made multiple clients and created a group chat with just readable and writable streams pausing, draining and resuming with a freaking Terminal UI. I was never as thrilled and understood chat application soo well.
We made a TCP and UDP uploader using which you could send your local files to any server through network using Streams with just TUI. We built an FTP protocol of our own.
At this time, without even knowing what HTTP and Web Server, I was able to Reimplement parts of Dart Shelf - A library in that allows you to create Middlewares and all.. Like implementing Requests, Response, headers and Servers from scratch, because it's the same thing with different syntax.
I then started with HTTP module. First of all I understood that I have already implemented HTTP while trying to make different custom protocols on top of TCP. That confidence boost was enough to go further -
I understood - all the headers - content type - mimes, content length, transfer encoding chunked, three way handshake, ack, syn was already done in TCP. - http versions, http headers, and body, HTTP methods ( for requests) - create, put, post, update, delete, head, get, option, etc and Idempotency and why adhering to it is important. - HTtP Responses ( For Responses) - Informational Range(1), Success Range(2), Redirect Range(3), Client Error(4), Server Error(5**). - We read IANA and MDN docs
He then started creating an express like framework. We started listening from a Server and used on() methods and functions to manage routes and sending different requests with different status codes.
I saw how if I returned HTML by writing it on a Response stream, it renders the freaking website. Fuck! I can also send audio, image, or any file type in the body through writing on the Response Stream at any required processing or Memory usage.
We implemented a routing functionality, a request handler and easy file transfer protocols and json protocols. I learned parsing and Stringifying and how even that is a cost.
Overall this framework can create a server like app = express(); about which I had no fucking clue about a month ago. Does JSON Parsing, Has an FTP, Handles routing for any kind of backend api structuring and send status codes. All in a chained method format..
Right now, I have just started building this Social Media application in the course using which we will develop our framework more.. I'm just starting this part of the course...
Over all I've never felt so confident in my backend skills and I have noticed that no matter in what language I see the backend code in - go, php, rust, Dart, python, Java, bun, deno, c, cpp - I understand it all. Everything makes perfect sense.
And I have only completed 60% of existing course. Course itself is 60% completed. I plan to use Dart anyways in my Flutter Apps but the crazy amount of knowledge this guy "Joseph" has poured into a course is unsurmountable.
For someone really experienced or a low level programmer, this might not be a big deal for a person completely new to backend and with very little knowledge of system programming and Linux - this course has been a freaking godsend.
That was my experience, Node is awesome! Thanks for reading.

2024.06.09 17:12 Far_Nebula_2564 Could I have MCAS

Hello everyone, I’ve been researching what I could be going through and have stumbled upon MCAS. I’m sorry but this is going to be a long post. So, TLDR; developed some symptoms in late teens and sudden onslaught at 22. Symptoms include:
-itching with/without bumps and or causes
-intense reaction to skin being punctured and bug bites
-possible histamine intolerance
-bloating
-intolerant of foods I used to eat
-nausea
-lower stomach pain
-brain fog
-fatigue
I’ve recently been having constant bloating and nausea with frequent abdominal pain. I’ve been to the doctor and they don’t seem to really care (told me to drink water and eat more). Eating makes me sick and it’s a struggle for me to find something I can tolerate. I also have a whole slew of other symptoms, but I will get to that later..
I’m currently waiting on the results to a bunch of allergy blood tests. My doctor thinks I may have some food allergies which I didn’t really understand since I haven’t had any all my life (I’m 22yrs old). In recent years it does seem like I’ve developed a lactose intolerance and a red meat allergy, yet it hasn’t been consistent. I thought it was due to hormone fluctuations from potential endometriosis (my mom is diagnosed). As it seemed to be worse when I was close to my period but I could tolerate it fine otherwise.
My doctor did test my vitamin D level recently and it was super low (deficient). I chalked up all my symptoms to that but I’ve gotten my vitamin D levels up with no improvement. I have a history of overall fatigue and generally just feel sick/unwell. Back in 2019 I found out I was severely anemic and that made sense to me. However, it didn’t take long for me to get my iron levels back up yet I still felt about the same. I still attributed all my symptoms to anemia tho (thinking that whenever I felt unwell I just needed to eat iron-rich foods).
I was a straight A student all my life but have now dropped out of college because of how much I struggle with mental fog, fatigue, and insomnia. I would be fine up until I couldn’t retain any information and struggled to get out of bed and just exist.
There are times where everything is just a chore (like eating and showering). When I get up I get lightheaded, my ears start ringing, I can feel my heart pounding, and sometimes get blurry vision. I’ve been this way for a few years just trying to pretend like everything is okay and not to worry anyone, yet no one seems to take me seriously when I say I feel like I’m about to pass out (I’ve never fully fainted before but I feel like I’ve been extremely close to it).
As far as I can remember I’ve never had any allergic reactions, except for getting shots. I’ve always been really sensitive to needles (the vaccinated area becomes red, swollen, and hot accompanied with a fever). The doctors always said that was normal and nothing to worry about. It’s made me not like getting shots, but I’m not afraid of them. It’s irked me cause my mom acts like I’m just scared of needles when that is far from the truth.
I’ve also been sensitive to mosquito bites (swollen and hot to the touch even without scratching them). Everyone has also acted like this is normal and I didn’t think much of it either.
This last year I woke up with a sharp pain in my arm to discover what I believe was a spider bite. It developed into a large red bump that was hot to the touch and mimicked a black widow bite (severe muscle pain that spread through the limb, tingling, and fever). There was also another bite on my finger of the same arm with the same pain. I never saw the spider but did find fang marks. I don’t know whether it was really a black widow that bit me or an extreme reaction to a bug bite. It took weeks for the swelling to go down and for the pain to fully subside. As I had just recovered from that bite, I got bit by what I assumed was a mosquito on my fingertip on that same arm. That bite just got progressively worse and swelled to the point where I could hardly bend it anymore. It was red and swollen and I had no idea what the true cause was so my parents took me to the doctor. We ended up going to the hospital and they didn’t take me seriously (I don’t blame them it was just a swollen finger and I wasn’t in that much pain). I would’ve just gone to urgent care but they were closed on that day. So they just prescribed me two different antibiotics and sent me away. I wasn’t worried about any reactions to the meds because I had been on several different antibiotics in the past for various infections. Within 30 minutes of taking both antibiotics I broke out in hives (first time in my life). At first I thought I had a mosquito bite but then more and more popped up all over my body on exposed skin and underneath clothing. My dad took me to urgent care and they didn’t take me seriously. It’s a 30 minute drive away from where I live and the “hives” had started to go down by the time they saw me. The doctor I saw said it couldn’t have been the antibiotics because it wouldn’t have effected me that fast and that what I had wasn’t hives (but didn’t really explain what happened to me either). I told him about what happened to my finger and he suggested I may have a histamine intolerance.
That kind of made sense to me especially because he talked about skin writing which I vaguely remember doing as a kid. I can lightly scratch or prolong press on my skin and it will swell up temporarily.
As a result, I was prescribed cetirizine and have been taking it every day, sometimes twice. It did seem to help with my finger (it eventually went down) and also alleviate some bug bites I’ve had in the meantime. I was really hoping a histamine intolerance would solve more of the problems that I’ve been having but after trying a low histamine diet I still struggle with bloating, nausea, and abdominal pain.
I believed that was all due to hormone fluctuations with my menstrual cycle but it has become a daily problem now. It just keeps getting worse and I don’t know why. I’ve also had ovarian cysts and thought that might be the cause (especially for the abdominal discomfort), but my recent ultrasound came up clear.
Recently, I woke up in extreme agony from my lower stomach. I just knew something was wrong whether it was a ruptured cyst or my appendix or something. I could hardly walk and tears just streamed down my face from the pain. My parents rushed me out but by the time we got close to the hospital my pain was starting to get better so I went to urgent care instead. The doctor that saw me made me uncomfortable and just suggested my pain was due to me being a woman and suggested I see a gynecologist. He still ordered a urine sample (idk what test) and said that depending on the result he would schedule an ultrasound (pelvic or other). It took weeks but I finally got a call from the imaging place to schedule a transvaginal ultrasound (no word on the urine test just assuming it was clear). I’ve gotten the results back which is how I know that I do not currently have a cyst, yet I might have PCOS.
I’m also struggling with bicep tendinitis and a small (tear?) to my rotator cuff. I have no idea what caused that as I haven’t really exerted myself and have been trying to take it easy yet it hasn’t seemed to be healing. Idk if this could be related to MCAS but am bringing it up as part of my whole slew of unexplained medical problems. I was once really active and participated in all kinds of sports yet now I can hardly think about any form of exercise.
My symptoms seem to only be getting progressively worse and I still have no idea what the cause is. I’ve only just read about MCAS and it definitely sounds like a lot of what I have going on, but I want to hear from the people who actually have it and can describe/understand what I describe to see if I should pressure my doctofind a new doctor for treatment. Thanks for reading and for your time. I welcome any insight into what I could be dealing with.

2024.06.09 17:11 CrusaderBot36 "He has become the very thing he sought to destroy!"

TLDR AT THE END
This is the story of one of my more unique campaigns, and how it all went south due to a rather messed up definition of "Justice".
The cast:
Dm: Running a game where each player was a deity
Me: Playing as Deity of Fire
Problem: Deity of Justice
Clown: Playing as deity of mischief
Others: Not really important that much
So the game started well enough. There was general peace between the deities. There was a little RP friction between me and the Water deity, but we had agreed on it beforehand. The only REAL friction/tension was between Clown and Problem.
Problem was playing his character like a Lawful Good Paladin sort of deity, trying to bring justice and peace. Clown was playing hers as an omniscient prankster who really liked chaos. This led to some moderate tension early on, but usually was resolved fairly easily, especially since Clown tended to avoid places with other deities and focus more on having herself be the main one.
Tension began to really escalate about 6 sessions in. After Clown pulled off a really big stunt involving a giant statue and making faces (and me burning down a city by accident), Problem decides it's time for a holy war. He rallies his followers across the globe, for a grand holy war against "injustice" and "those who would do the world harm". DM is hyped because COOL CONFLICT, Clown is a bit worried because she doesn't have that many followers (she didn't really do much for praise or worship, she just liked pulling off crazy stunts), I was mostly unbothered since I hadn't done much bad stuff and had loads of followers, and everyone else mostly didn't care since it was obvious Clown was the target, not them.
Fast forward 3 sessions and things are going bad. Problem has decided that EVERYONE who doesn't worship him is somebody who would do the world harm, since "only by following justice can the world be saved". His warriors commit massive war crimes, which he excuses as "the price of justice". He also does some weird stuff of VERY VIOLENTLY describing how he kills rich, monarchist, or generally right-wing and upper class figures. He also explains his "justice" with "long term stability is vital" and "anyone who stands in the way of justice deserves to be crushed".
So all the gods form "THE HOLY COALITION" and declare a Crusade against him. However, despite every other deity fighting against him, he is somehow... winning? The DM starts fudging things in his favor, and he starts getting items. DM is also getting more excited every session, talking about how great the drama and stuff is.
Eventually, we reach the final battle. All of the gods versus Problem. This isn't about followers, this is about pure power. 5 on 1, we should win easy. Unfortunately, the DM had other ideas. He constantly gave us disadvantage on rolls, and problem advantage. When we rolled a Nat 20, it "didn't count for balancing" but when he did it "counts completely, its DnD". Finally, he hits 1 HP. Nobody enjoyed the fight, except for DM.
We ask Problem why he started the holy war as he dies. He goes off on a monologue about how he is bringing "justice to the world", before suddenly veering into political territory about why the Soviet Union had a great system for traitors.
We are all standing there, really shocked, as he starts talking about why hardline authoritarian communism is awesome and why Woke is the only real justice and stuff that is all politics and has NOTHING TO DO WITH THE GAME OR WHAT HAPPENED AT ALL. Clown finally interrupts by asking what that has to do with the game, and he basically just summarizes his whole argument with "You did things that were unjust, all of your followers deserve to die".
So while I am sitting there trying to figure out what any of this has to do with Woke or Communism or anything political (seriously that had nothing to do with the game he just suddenly veered into political territory), the DM is getting super hyped and talking about how "epic" and "dramatic" the whole game was. Clown leaves the call, and so do most of the deities. DM is confused as to why they are leaving, I am still too busy trying to wrap my head around Problem's argument, and Problem calls the people leaving a slur. I leave.
So that was a really weird game. TLDR: We are all playing as deities, Justice Deity decides to enforce Soviet Union style justice, goes into long political rant after that.

2024.06.09 17:06 FennelAppropriate642 Spiraling Already. Insurance.

Started puberty 10 years old - went from training bra to C within a year, comments started in elementary school about my breast from peers and adults, by middle school was In a D, by high school at least a DD+ and as an adult I’m 5’3 and now in at least an F/G last time I was sized.
I’ve had nothing but mental and physical anguish (as a lot of you will understand that I am not being dramatic here) since 10 years old. I’m 26.
Acne on my chest from sweat, not being able to wear clothing because it looks like I’m being sexual just because I have large breast (again, as a literal kid), buying bigger clothes so it fits in the chest (which feeds into the body dysmorphia spiral), hating how I’ve looked for 16 years, not feeling like I’m “me” ever. I’ve had meltdowns where I physically hurt my breast because I hated them so. so. so. much because nothing I do helps me be comfortable. Can’t sleep on my back, can’t sleep on my stomach. Spine burning, neck and shoulders pain at all times, rashes, feeling like I’m unable to exercise:
1.)because I hate how I look in public and am so embarrassed to move my body in front of people. I also have a mental stunt because I dropped 40+ lbs back in 2021 and my chest lost nothing. No size difference so what’s the point!
2.) IT HURTS!?!?
All of this to post about how I have my consultation booked for Thursday. I’m so terrified they’re going to say either yeah I should qualify but my insurance(BCBS) won’t agree with their pre-authorization or just immediately tell me no and to just lose weight and see if it helps/come back after I lose weight. I am overweight, but I know that with a reduction it will change my life and I will finally be able to do things I enjoy (Pilates, cycling, etc).
I can think of a million ways I’m going to walk out of there crying because I need this and I’m already preparing for the rejection. Not just physically, but mentally I need this. I’ve called my insurance and it’s covered if the surgeon says it’s medically necessary and can prove it. But google says they’ll need to turn in medical reports or something and I’ve never documented anything about the issues my breast causes because I never thought I’d be able to do anything to help that. I’ve talked to my mental health professionals but that’s it. So I’m worried he won’t be able to prove it besides what I’ve told him.
I want this more than anything and I’m so beyond worried it’s just within my grasp, but I can’t have it.

User Reviews and Ratings

User feedback is crucial in choosing the right IPTV service. Many services let users try them free, up to 7 days, to get a feel and leave feedback. Legal IPTV offerings can be found on platforms like Amazon and Google Play, showing they're safe and real. But, unverified services bring legal and security risks, so using a VPN is smart for safety.

Unverified IPTV Services: Risks and Legalities

The IPTV industry is growing fast. It's expected to beat cable TV by 2024 as the top choice for multichannel households. But, there are dangers with unverified IPTV services. They raise big legal and safety concerns.
These unverified services aren't in popular app stores. They seem cheaper than legal options. But, they might not have the right to stream content. This can lead to legal issues and risks like data theft. They may also violate your internet service's terms.
The laws around IPTV are getting stricter. The UK's Digital Economy Act of 2017 means up to 10 years in jail for illegal IPTV. In the US, the Protecting Lawful Streaming Act makes streaming felonious. Operators of these services could face up to 10 years behind bars.
When choosing an IPTV service, look at the subscription cost and payment method. Check the content and streaming quality. Also, see if they have ads, good customer support, and official apps. This is key to knowing if the service is legal and trustworthy. Go for services you can find in official app stores to stay safe and legal.

Setting Up Your IPTV Service

Getting ready to explore IPTV needs some steps for a smooth experience. We'll talk about what's important when starting your IPTV journey.

Internet Speed Requirements

For IPTV to work well, you must have a fast internet connection. You need about 25Mbps for watching live channels in full-HD without interruptions. If you want to watch in 4K or need SD quality, you'll need more speed. Over 75Mbps might be needed for excellent 4K quality.

Compatible Devices

Using a device that can handle IPTV well is key. Android systems or Amazon Fire Stick are great options. They make it easy and convenient to watch various IPTV apps and services.

Installing the IPTV App

Getting your IPTV set up means picking a provider, getting their plan, and putting the app on your device. After logging in, you can start watching live channels and on-demand shows. It's usually simple, with instructions from your provider to help.

Enhancing Your IPTV Experience

Getting more from your IPTV means personalizing it to your liking. You can do this by using a VPN for extra security or by picking only the channels you enjoy. Accessing parental controls is another useful way to customize your experience. We'll look into each of these ideas.

Using a VPN for IPTV

A VPN, though not always a must, adds a layer of protection. It encrypts your internet use and protects your privacy. It can also let you watch shows from other countries by bypassing their viewing restrictions.

Customizing Channel Lists

Customizing your channel list can turn your IPTV experience into just what you want. You get to pick the channels you love. This is especially handy with a lot of channels. Some services even offer guides to help you find what you're looking for easily.

Parental Controls and Restrictions

IPTV services make it easy to keep your kids away from shows they shouldn't watch. You can set controls to block certain content and manage when they watch. This keeps the whole family's viewing safe and enjoyable.

IPTV vs. Traditional Cable TV: The Future of Television

Many have turned to IPTV and satellite bundles for their TV needs. IPTV provides Live, Time-Shifted, and Video on Demand services. It tends to be cheaper than cable or satellite TV. This is because IPTV services offer various affordable plans.
IPTV lets you do more than watch TV. You can pause, rewind, and fast-forward live shows. There's on-demand content and shows picked just for you. The future for IPTV looks bright. More and more people will switch to it from traditional TV. This is because it's flexible, offers lots of shows, and saves money. Technology will make IPTV even better. We'll get smoother streaming, quicker starts, and more cool features. Plus, we'll have more shows to pick from, including ones from around the world and special ones just for you.
For years, cable and satellite TV have been the main way we watch TV. But now, IPTV is making a mark. It's a cheaper and more adjustable option. IPTV is known for clear, reliable shows with less waiting and in high definition. Over-the-Top (OTT) services let you watch on different gadgets and save money. IPTV even has cool features like DVR, pausing live shows, and guides. OTT is great for its unique, top-notch shows.
The TV world is changing fast. Soon, IPTV and OTT will blend in with smart homes. It will be easy to pick what to watch with your voice. Also, things like 5G and better internet will make TV even more amazing.
IPTV OTT
Live TelevisionVideo on Demand (VOD)Time-Shifted TV Subscription-Based Services (SVOD)Ad-Supported Services (AVOD)Transactional Services (TVOD)
Generally more expensive due to bundling with other services and hardware requirements More cost-effective and accessible on a variety of devices compared to IPTV
Boasts quality and reliability due to managed networks, resulting in minimal buffering and high-definition quality streaming Offers flexibility in viewing, accessibility on multiple devices, and cost-effectiveness
Presents interactive features like DVR, pausing live TV, and interactive program guides Known for producing high-quality original content not found on traditional TV
Services are tied to specific locations and devices, limiting mobility compared to OTT services Might require multiple subscriptions for desired content, leading to content fragmentation
The future looks bright for TV. IPTV and OTT will get even better with new technology.

Conclusion

The digital age has changed how we watch TV. IPTV, or Internet Protocol Television, is now popular. It's a good choice instead of cable or satellite.
IPTV offers a lot of channels, from about 15 to over 54,000. It's also affordable, with prices between $15 to $30 a month. You can watch TV on smart TVs, phones, tablets, and more. This makes watching TV better for everyone.
In the USA, using legal IPTV services means you're watching content from licensed sources. This makes sure you're watching without any copyright issues. When choosing an IPTV service, think about the shows they offer, channels, price, and how they help you if you have a problem.
The way we watch TV is changing thanks to IPTV. Soon, more people will watch TV this way. It offers new features and an improved way to watch. Plus, it's all done the right way, making sure artists and creators are supported.

Yukiko- She's the type to have a laughing attack almost every stream
Yu- He would hide his face in fear that too many people will simp him because of his chaRIZZma
Yosuke- He would most likely try to flirt with the girls he's playing with
Chie- She would most likely at least eat something every stream, whether if it's meat or just whatever, she will eat something on stream
Kanji- He would bot his followers just to make him seem popular
Teddie- He would say "Everybody type F in the chat" every 10 seconds, while also using the money he gets from donations on OnlyFans

2024.06.09 16:39 neonheavenly Wow looking back, Remake really was wild. Let me explain...

One of my favorite pass-times is to watch streams from people who've never played any FF or FF7 Compilation, and they begin their journey with Remake.
It's interesting because we get Sephiroth visions so early on, and it's interesting how we have entire chapters, and long stretches between seeing him again.
Seeing a gameplay video and after the plate falls, Cloud sees sephiroth briefly but because it's been SO long since he's had a vision of him, it's cool to watch these people react and be reminded that he's acting as a looming shadow in this game.
It's also kind of wild to see people react to the plate-fall itself. It's such a devastating moment and was made better by the devs expanding midgar to make the build-up much longer, so player reactions are equally as devastated.
Then they learn about the Ancients from tseng and Elmyra and it's so cool to see the look of epiphany as they realize that there is a MUCH more grand and sinister narrative at play.
Lastly, finishing the game with the players getting a glimpse of Kalm after just battling, yet not officially defeating Sephiroth, and that there is an entire world to explore moving forward is so magical.
I won't bore anybody with how these new players react to Rebirth but they view it wide-eyed, and talk about how Remake was essentially just the intro to that massive narrative.
Anyway, just some fun stuff

Reading and listening are important. Listen to English-speaking radio. You can get lots of them on the internet. Try different English-speaking countries. Watch TV shows if you can. Get them on YouTube or other similar sources. Look for programmes like news or documentaries. You have the pictures to help you understand. Language in them is more genuine than in a soap opera. Look for programmes or things to read that are of interest to you. So if you have a hobby or other interest, look for things in English that relate to them. You will learn English and maybe something about your interests.
Lately, I've just found out this site ( https://www.conversationexchange.com/ ) where you can chat/speak with native English speaker, it's really cool.
Always have a notebook with me to makes some notes or write down some new vocabulary or phrases.
And the most important thing … speaking practice. I can recommend you ,,speaky app.,, It’s really cool. Lot of weird people which do not distinguish this app from tinder there but I have found some decent people that I am able to speak a few times per week with. I can even say that after few months they even became my friends.
  • try to embed yourself in english
  • persistance and constistnecy, do it daily, event if it’s just one new word its always step forward,
  • find an english speaking friend and stay in touch with him frequently
  • exercise your speaking muscles everyday for 5 minutes
https://discord.com/invite/english in there you can find people to speak with anytime
I've learned English on my own through YouTube.
Step 1. Unsubscribe from all the channels in your native tongue.
Step 2. Subscribe to all English Learning Channels you can find.
Step 3. Watch Videos from the subscribed channels whenever you have occasion.
In 2-3 months you will understand most of the content.
If you're a complete beginner, read books meant for kids.
Honestly I'd suggest trying a couple of nature documentaries first. The speech will be very slow and give you lots of time to understand what you heard. If you're still struggling with that, then worry about kids shows.
I'd also suggest looking at podcasts for English beginners. They should deliberately speak slowly and not use complicated words
Some that come to mind easily are two tv shows called Sesame Street and Peppa Pig because of their simple language (aimed at native English kids learning English).
For listening practice you could try this free Whatsapp group with daily British English listening practice - https://chat.whatsapp.com/ELjBO3HwTMgK3xxqq3mq6d
Try Nonsense.com :) It is free and you get to watch movies.
This explanation is a little long so you can translate it to your native language by using www.Deepl.com
There are many ways you can learn English as a beginner. First, I think it's important to find out exactly what your level is. A great framework for understanding language level is called CEFR "The common European framework for Reference". There are many free tests online you can take to find out your level. I recommend the EFSET test. It's free and fast. Here is the link.https://www.efset.org
After you have found out what your level is, you need to learn the necessary content. You also need to manage your time expectations. Each level of the CEFR A1 A2 (beginner) B1 B2 (intermediate) C1 C2 (Advanced) takes a different amount of time. The A levels take about 100 hours each. The B levels take about 200 and the C levels take about 300 hours.
To complete a level you will need to improve 8 areas:
  1. vocabulary = Improve your vocabulary by buying an appropriate vocabulary book. Try to learn 20 new words each day. Download an SRS app (spaced repetition) to help you learn the vocabulary faster. e.g. Anki or Quizlet. Also, try to make or use mnemonics to remember what the words mean.
  2. grammar = Buy an appropriate grammar book (I recommend Grammar in Use by Murphy) Each CEFR level has about 200 grammar structures. First, study the structures and understand what they mean, then activate them and make sure you can use them all in conversation. To help with this, you can use my Youtube. I post grammar lessons every day (Yes, I know this is a shameless plug) https://www.youtube.com/learngrammarwithstuart
  3. conversation = Make sure to practice what you have learned by speaking to a native speaker. There are a lot of great apps like Italki and Cambly where you can practice this for a very low cost.
  4. pronunciation = Improve this by shadowing (listening and repeating what people say) e.g. the audio content from the reading textbook. You can also improve your pronunciation by watching Youtube pronunciation channels.
  5. conversation = Make sure to practice what you have learned by speaking to a native speaker. There are a lot of great apps like Italki and Cambly where you can practice this for a very low cost.)
  6. reading = Buy a graded reader and practice reading at your level. To see if the content is at your level, use the following rule. If you need to translate more than 10 words per page, the book you are reading is too hard.
  7. listening = Improve your listening by watching TV shows that use simple English. I recommend kids cartoons and sitcoms e.g. friends. There are also lots of great youtube channels that you can use.
  8. writing = Improve your writing by using an app like Hello Talk or a similar SNS. It allows you to easily practice writing and communicating with other English speakers and language learners.
I hope this helps and good luck with your studies.
