I have an Aixam Mega minitruck. It has an Kubota Z482 engine. It seems to have a lack of power because it doesnt reach the top speed it's supposed to go (70 km/h). It only goes up to 60, and there's still plenty of travel left in the throttle pedal (and throttle lingake at the IP, so it's not just a loose cable or anything), giving it more throttle just doesnt do anything.
It has new fuel filter and oil+filter. I noticed it also has a pre-filter, but it is in a very hard to reach place. What symptoms would a partially clogged pre-filter have? The engine seems to run flawlessly, no sputtering or anything, other than bad idle for ~30 seconds after starting.
When I replaced the regular fuel filter, the filter material had detached from it's base, so it was not filtering anything. If dirt had went through, what symptoms could it cause? And is there any way to check it, other than removing the injectors and doing a spray pattern test? They are also in a very hard to reach place, probably not even possible to remove them without taking out the whole engine.

What fuel upgrades exist for the 2017 base model? Been looking around for larger than stock fuel injectors. Having a lot of trouble finding performance parts as to be expected!
Does anyone have advice on performance parts aside from a tune, exhaust, throttle body, and cold air intake?

Hello, I’m curious about if anyone has had similar experiences or any thoughts on some recent mechanical issues I’ve had with my ‘23 Camry SE. I bought the vehicle last summer with 10k miles on it, and it currently has 22k miles. A couple of weeks ago, it randomly left us stranded due to not accelerating, very rough idle and dying while idling, and having multiple errors pop up on screen. Thankfully this is all still under warranty, but our local Toyota dealership had the car for a week and a half and said fuel injectors needed to be replaced, so they did that. We’ve had the car back for about a week, and yesterday, the check engine light came on, it was very slow to start, there was a very strong smell of fuel/gas in the cabin, and error popped up saying “Secondary brake collision system malfunction.” The car is back at the service department at our local Toyota dealership now, but needless to say, this has been pretty disappointing, considering it is still low mileage and we purchased it for the reliability!

Hey guys decided I'd post here that I have a STI for sale. It's a 2020 Limited w/ Wing. Miles around 30k minor cosmetic defects, nothing wrong mechanically. I rebuilt the engine with an IAG Type R shortblock, FP Blue turbo, 1050x injectors and upgraded fuel system. Car is still in break in tune from the rebuild. Add what parts you want and tune and it's ready to go. DM for pictures and more information. I became disabled and can't bear shifting everytime I drive. Gonna miss it, but I can't even drive it properly.

Is this normal? Like it will go away eventually? Or did I do something wrong?
I just finished multiple services at once for my wife's 2015 honda fit. First time performing most of these, but I consider myself mechanically inclined. I did my research and followed all steps.

I'm seeing a small amount of smoke coming out tail pipe. It also smells kinda strong. Not sure how to describe the smell... sort of chemically? Wife said smells like a hospital. Didn't smell sweet like coolant. No smoke or smell from engine, just out of tail pipe.
Just finished last night, so I haven't drove much yet. But the car seems to run fine, actually better response and acceleration! Idle seems normal and drove great on freeway & side roads.
I may have gone a little tight on valve clearances, but the spec size feeler gauges did fit after torquing down nuts. Intake ports were pretty gunked up. Soaked with brake clean and scraped out 90% of it. Bought new pcv but think I damaged the threads trying to install. Decided to clean & reuse pcv. Soaked it in brake clean, then sprayed it out and it seemed to move more freely inside. This did take me a few days and it rained hard, along with southern humidity. I did cover openings with rags & paper towels, but some moisture could have got in...? I'm gonna investigate more tonight.

My fuel pump and regulator hit the shitter a little while ago, so I bought a new one. I can't seem to find anything other than Crown, US Motor Works, or some other no-name brands. So I grabbed a Crown.
Well, I put it in over the weekend. Fixed the pump problem! Has a busted check valve or pressure regulator though, because it'll prime right up to spec and run great, but drop like a rock to 0 (within 30 seconds) once I shut the car down. I've checked and replaced all the hoses and reseated the gasket, starts up clean and no fuel smell so I doubt its injectors. Should I try my luck with USMW, or should I start scavenging junkyards? Or do any of y'all have a spare bosch assembly sitting on a shelf somewhere you'd sell me lol
I'm just trying to minimize doa so I don't have to do this again
Edit: Wish I had found this thread on how to service the '96 assembly earlier. Would have saved me $100 bucks and a headache.

Does anyone know what I could upgrade my fuel injectors to? I have an 04 CV LX that is a bit torn apart at the moment due to a bit of a rebuild and the factory ones are rated for 19lbs but I’ve seen other run higher flow rates.

I have bought an 2018 Audi A4 Avant 3.0L (not petrol engine) this Feb and it came with a hard start issue. It takes from 3s to sometimes 6-10s to start the engine everytime, doesn't matter if the car is warmed up or freshly cold in the morning. With start-stop, if its turned off for less than 10s, it will usually start again within one or two cranks, but if I wait for 10s or more then it struggles again.
It had some things done a week ago:

• 2 injectors replaced (all were tested and 2 found faulty)
• all injector seals replaced
• fuel filter replaced
• new spark plugs

However after all this work it feels like it's still the same and the audi dealership is telling me that it's normal for this engine to always start in 2-3s. Should I contact them again about it or is it actually normal? It's my first car and I am don't have any experience with car engines but I never seen one that takes this long to start and it's normal.

Basically I think I need someone to actually tell me that *is not* normal for a car to take this long to start so I can not feel bad about going back 3rd time to the audi dealership.
