It's become really hard to watch. They must have been really desperate to have brought these two back on the latest season of Happily Ever After.
At some point, the TLC production team needs to take accountability and step in and pull Michael aside and not just give him emotional support but step in and tell her to stop. That is an abused man, and TLC profits off of showcasing his abuse to the world. Continuing to follow them around with a camera like everything's fine is trivializing and normalizing abuse.
Angela should not be allowed on the show anymore. It was funny in the beginning. Now, it's just disturbing.
Instead of sending them to that goofy couple's therapy thing they filmed, she should've been sent to solo anger management and Michael should've been sent to his own therapy for trauma.
Emotional abuse should be treated in the same way as physical abuse. If she punched him in the face each time she loses it, rather than verbally accosting and belittling him, she'd be gone. TLC really needs to have some moral compass here. That poor man.

Hi, my name is Juan, I'm from Colombia and I been having a very huge problem with my xbox series s since a couple of days. There was a storm with lightnings in the place where I live and for a few seconds there was a black out, so I disconnected my TV and the console and after the storm ended I turned on the console again but it took a very long time to start and when the homepage finally appeared it said that it was not connected to the xbox network and It seemed pretty weird to me, beacause the console was already wired connected so I thought it was a problem with my wi-fi router so I disconnected the router for about 5 minutes and also I restarted the console, but the problem remained the same, and I just realized that it couldn't be a wi-fi problem beacuse my laptop was working perfectly with the same LAN cable that I was using in the xbox, the funny thing is that I also tried a wireless connection but it kept saying that the console was NAT connected and that I had to disconnect the wire, even when it was ALREADY DISCONNECTED, so basically I was not having any internet connection at all, so I decided to reset the console to factory settings (and went just worse) first I tried to reset and keep my games and apps, then mid process the screen displayed a message saying checking for updates but after that a message saying error code 0x8B050084 0x00000000 0x00000201, and I really tried it all to solve this but none of my efforts worked, at that point I only had three options to try, "try again", "check network" and "turn off console", if I press on "try again" the same error code displays again, if I press on "check network" it ask me to check wired or wireless connection and when I press wired it says it's all good and the console it's wired connected even when the LAN Cable it's unplugged, which is a big problem, so I tried to check the wireless connection and it didn't show me my wireless network not even wireless networks nearby, the only thing displaying it's "Add wireless network" so when I press it, it says Specify SSID and at this point it's not even a surprise that when I put my SSID it didn't work at all, saying that my security protocol won't work, I even tried typing the SSID's from my neighbors and also none of them worked, so I'm stuck in the factory settings mode and the only possible solution that I found in the internet was doing an offline update through a flash drive, so I reset my pendrive to NTFS format and I downloaded the OSU1 file from the xbox webpage and I just copied the "$Systemupdate" file to the USB, then I get to the xbox troubleshooting menu and I inserted the pendrive to perform an "offline system update". I really thought that this method was going to be effective but when the update process was at about 80% the console just stopped the update and started to display "checking for updates" again just to end up showing the same error code 0x8B050084 0x00000000 0x00000201 AGAIN. I was so confused beacuse what is the point of doing an offline system update if it is going to check out the network connectivity anyway, I've tried to perform the offline system update three times but the result was same, so at this point my series s won't start at all and I really don't know what to do.

Hello fellow nuzlockers.
I've done this before.
My rival Peter and I are taking on another Drayano game in a hardcore soul link. After beating Renegade Platinum and more recently Volt White 2, we will be taking on the OG Volt White.
Our rules are as follows:

• Standard Hardcore nuzlocke rules (single encounter, permadeath, level caps, rare candies, set mode, no items in battle)
• Deaths for one half of a pair kills the other half, too
• Dupes Clause
• Gift Clause
• Pinwheel Clause
• Cheats: Automatic captures, infinite healing items, candies, berries.

With that out of the way, lets get into our first attempt at a Volt White soul link.
We each waited patiently for Bianca before picking matching Snivys (both with contrary) named Tyrell and shitting on our friends' dreams by beating them in our first battles. We obtain the Pokédex and pinky promise to Professor Juniper that we'll catch lots of Pokemon (SIKE!). After a quick tutorial on how to catch Pokemon, we walk into the grass on route 1 and encounter our first pair, my Lillipup, Peter's Bidoof named Lillidoof. After more boring tutorials, we attend a fascist rally with Cheren before we are accosted by a green haired dude who wants to battle. Lillidoof cleans up his team without too much trouble on both sides.
On the road to Striaton City, we encounter our friend Bianca who has picked up a hard-hitting meowth with fake out. I was fine, but Peter's Bidoof couldn't take fake out into critical hit scratch, and we had our first death. We had been delaying our route 2 encounter to get some shaking grass after the gym, but that's not an option anymore because I know Youngster Joey's rattata is coming up with flame wheel. So we catch my Poochyena, Peter's Meowth and call them Catdog. In Striaton City, we decide to enter the dreamyard and get our monkey before trying our luck with Cheren. I still think this was the right idea, but alas, Youngster Joey brought Catdog too low and I had to switch to Tyrell and hope for no critical hit flame wheel. The cursed rat went for flame wheel, left me at 1 HP, but also burned Snivy, killing it.
So anyway, let me tell you about our second attempt at a volt white soul link.
We picked up our snivys, caught Zigzadoof (my zigzagoon, Peter's bidoof), beat N, and marched up to Bianca again. This time we beat her no issue and march into the Dreamyard to redistribute the guts of the top 1% of rattatas. Thankfully, this time, by overlevelling Zigzadoof to the cap (14) we beat the rat and claim twin Harambes the panpours. We immediately put the monkey to work, defeating Cheren and getting the cut TM to get our dreamyard encounter, Clefarna (my clefairy, Peter's Munna). With that, it was time to take on the Gym leader Chili... who we defeated with 11 water pulses each from Harambe.
And that is where we will leave this tale. Tomorrow evening we will take on the Lenora split!

So, since the day they first appeared on AEW Dark together back in the day, I've been a fan of the Acclaimed. I stood by them through the first controversy when Caster mocked that olympic athlete (I'm sorry, I don't remember her name), for which he got punished (rightfully so).
I remember that when he was suspended (or taken off TV), Bowens was kept on Dark or TV and had Singles Matches that he always lost.
At some point Caster returned, the Acclaimed did their thing, still figuring that Tag Team out until they team with the Gunns, Daddy Ass gets born and they take off winning a World Tag Team Championship and a Trios Championship.
As most of you are probably aware Caster started acting strange (even for himself) on Social Media for at some point earlier this year. This was picked up in some way during the feud with the Bang Bang Gang, when we couldnt get his rap out or would go "unscripted" on PPV before their Title Unification Match against them. Last week before Dynamite he posted on X that the Acclaimed would be on Dynamite with an Announcement, even Billy Gunn replied to it and confirmed it but then it never happened. I expected it to be moved to Rampage or Collision because of time issues (Show was packed), but on Rampage Bowens only had a Singles Match, where he lost to Bryan Cage with Billy & Max at ringside.
Now, I'm somewhat worried for Max and the Acclaimed as a Team. Am I being worked? Is Max just promoting his indys heel run he's apparently on atm? I dont know. There is probably plenty of stuff that I have missed. But I wanted to cover as much ground as possible for the post. I hope Max is alright and between him and Anthony is everything good, although I feel like there are problems, then again, could just me being worked. What do you think? Any opinions on whats going on with Max and the Acclaimed in general.

I worked a pretty rough job for about 2 years (the company is named after a forest in Brazil/Peru). During this time, I kinda felt like I couldn't do a single thing right. I had a "mentor" who dropped me after having a meeting where he sweared a lot at me and yelled at me. My boss accused me of lying on my resume multiple times. They really liked telling me I was riiiiiiight on the edge of being PIP'd. I genuinely felt like I wasn't fit to do even junior level work writing HTML, despite having 10 years experience.
I think I also got... kinda gaslit while being there, which caused my self-esteem to drop. I was the first frontend engineer on the team and I was pretty perplexed by the frontend they wrote. In dev mode, it was 50mb and took around 2 minutes to rebuild, despite it only being ~10 pages. All the dependencies were 4+ years old. There were some bugs that were so bizarrely preventable, such as tests not running because the test was never called (e.g., `expect(blah).toBeInTheDocument`). Whenever I sent in a fix, even for a small thing, I was told to stop because I "didn't know what I was doing". I brought up that many of the bugs in our system were easily preventable and told them about how we handled it at my last job, which I felt had a really strong stack and architecture. They dismissed it out of hand, saying that since they are BigCorp, anything they do is inherently better than whatever small company I worked at before
So obviously, I just kind of... stopped doing anything. I was paralyzed to make any move because I would only receive backlash. Writing code actually started to make me very nervous and uncomfortable because I knew it would lead to a meeting where my boss would tell me I'm going to be PIP'd if I did anything like that again
All that to say, I kinda came off the job feeling absolutely incapable and totally burned out
I just joined a new job and I feel deeply afraid they're going to see me as incompetent. My first task was to write a bunch of ui components, which I did, but the whole time felt this fear in the back of my mind that I was gonna fuck up somehow and get fired
I submitted it and it was accepted easily and everyone was happy with it, but I still feel incredibly nervous, like what things am I supposed to be doing, did I do this well enough, etc etc. I ask people on the team and everyone seems to think everything is fine, no one has explicitly said any problems, but I still can't help the nervousness around it

Personally, I think the hat goes off to roguelites. Just going off my personal example, it’s a genre that I totally disregarded up until I played Hades last year. It’s the noobish answer, I know, but something about the artstyle and character design fit my tastes perfectly. I’m sure I’m one of a small million who felt the same, even if it wasn’t their first roguelite.
Starting this year though, I got into so many top-notch roguelites that I can’t help but feel that the genre is absolutely exploding. To name but a few, Astral Ascent has to be my personal favorite. It has good character design and character options, an original spell shuffle system, the runs are *very* satisfying and the boss fights some of the best in any game of this type (their design especially + later interactions in the playthrough which I’m not going to get into). Of course, I can’t go without mentioning Balatro either — I saw a funny review calling it better than crack and better still if you’re ON crack, and the review hits the mark lol. Super addictive, super replayable, and easy to get into.
That’s just some 2 popular ones right now, but there are literally tons of more niche indies out there that are doing their own thing and more often than not, succeeding really well at that. The most release that caught my eye is Throne of Bone which is like a roguelite with auto-battles with card building. It’s EA now but thought I’d mention it. And speaking of card builders — another one that I gave me a good run for my money is Duelists of Eden. More or less a PvP-only interaction of One Step From Eden, but so smooth and lagless that it puts some other “bigger” games with a multiplayer component to shame (looking at you, Elden Ring). I mean, the very fact that it came out says that there’s a demand for these hybrid roguelites and that they’re becoming a staple of gaming really fast… or I think so?
With Hades 2 out in demo, and Slay the Spire 2 announced as well, I’m pretty happy with the way this genre at least is expanding its horizons. This is just my two cents on the topic I guess, but what do you think? Any other genres that you think have bright times in store for them?

I basically just broke up with my boyfriend. He basically gave me the silent treatment for a week, hanging up on all my calls. His texts never responded to my messages of me pouring my heart out and were extremely vague. We had only been together since this March, but at first we talked everyday.
Then I sent this message a week ago or more:
“Baby...if you think about me all the time...how come you will not talk to me? I feel like I am being held at a distance from you. I don't know what to do except to try and talk to you about it. Also I just realized something that has been bothering me...I wanted to ask you. Yet I feel like I shouldn't because you are already so stressed. Though I do want to be part of this because you are a part of my life and I need communication. I don't want to be left in the dark with whatever is going on right now with you. I want to hear about it all, the good and the bad. I want to be able to call you by the end of the day and you can vent to me. I want more than anything for you to lean on me like a healthy relationship. I don't see it as burden. Remember I did say when you go quiet and don't talk to me about what's going on it does the opposite of what you want. You said you don't want to worry me, but that is exactly what that does. I do not expect you to talk to me at all hours a day. Just a few messages a day and a call every other two days, something like that.”
He basically said this message pissed him off and that I was incredibly self absorbed. After that he refused to talk to me. Before that he was barely talking to me and I was pouring my heart out trying to let him know I am there for him.
Then this morning he finally called me back.
I asked if he actually thought I was self absorbed.
Then he said, “Really that is what you’re worried about?” And hung up.
There was a WHOLE LIST I was worried about, but how the fuck am I supposed to get to that if you hang up on me. He never communicated with me and would shut down. He said I didn’t care, but dammit there are messages of me flooding his inbox sick with worry. I’d almost have panick attacks cause he wouldn’t answer. If there was anyone who didn’t care it was him. My sister said he was still an immature child if this is how he handles conflict, by name calling and shutting down. I knew this wouldn’t work with the way he acts, but it still hurts.
I was trying to do everything in my power to stop us from splitting, but how can you do that if your partner refuses to even talk to you. It is like she said, you shouldn’t be having this many issues this early on into the relationship.
I mean the amount of anxiety he gave me from ignoring my calls, not answering any of my messages and literally giving me vague responses that only led to more questions. It was just too much. In the beginning it felt too good to be true and of course it was. The funny thing is he said he was sorry that we stressed each other out so much, but the only thing that was causing stress is the fact he shuts down anytime you need to talk to him about something serious. I am pissed and I am hurt…

Outlook: Sower arrives as a strong flyer with freestyle sprint optionality, which gives her a lot of possible event options. I would venture to guess that her 100 fly by year's end will be in contention with the Sonday-Fathman 56's that we saw last year, and it's not out of the realm of possibility that she could have the event on lock as soon as her sophomore season after Gidley departs. The 200 fly has been an event she has not swam much, so it will be interesting if Taber puts her on the path of a true flyer or if goes with a mix of freestyle, fly, and maybe some shorter backstroke, where she is no slouch in any of them. Sower is another example in Taber's recent recruiting strategy of high-level versatility, and this gives the Hope women's team so much room to be creative in individual entries that other teams just cannot hope to match.

Everytime I see a Magic card, there is this feeling in the back of my head that despises it. Whether I’m playing, watching a video, flipping through cards, it’s always, “ugh, a Magic the Gathering card.” I can never ignore them.
Prof’s most recent video was with Team APS and teaching them Magic, something I’ve been waiting for… but I saw the Magic cards on the table and immediately got bored
When playing against Magic cards, I almost always just want to remove them from the game-state out of spite. Your funny legendary soldier from Dominaria? Exiled.
Flipping through them, I can just pretend they don’t exist, but I wish they didn’t.
I mean… do I just quit? I want to continue playing, but this constant sour taste that Magic cards put in my mouth is frustrating
