I’m someone if I self learn I am motivated and enjoy the process doing as much as I can. I feel this inner drive as I am motivated intrinsically. I feel like the sky is the limit.
Whenever I enter a structured environment like a class and have to meet a certain external expectation I lose that initial drive amidst the pressure to perform. And even after I leave the environment, working on it feels like a tedious chore.
For example - I use to spend all my free time learning coding - even if I had 5 minutes free at work I’d be studying. Then I went to a bootcamp. Now when I do study it feels like something I should do whereas before when I self studied, it was something I wanted to do. I really want to feel that again.

I used ChatGPT (the web UI) a bunch of times on an important prompt. It gave precisely correct results 100% of the time out of 20 tests.
Then on the first attempt using GPT-4 via the API, we were surprised to see it gave a disastrously wrong answer! (these are coding questions/answers so they have objectively right/wrong responses).
The only thing we can think of is the 'temperature' value might be more deterministic in the ChatGPT web UI, so our specification of 0.7 might be too high (meaning GPT was free to be a bit more creative, which we certainly don't want).
We simply want to ensure the temperature we use in the API matches the web UI.
