Hot take but I absolutely dig the Dragon Engine used in Kiwami 2 versus the older outdated engine used in Y0 and Kiwami 1. I know that the older Yakuza games have clunky controls and graphics 2 generations ago so Kiwami 2 is like a breath of fresh air.
Judgement and Lost Judgement currently sits at the top of my wishlist on Steam and now it is on sale till May 7. I am not sure if the stories of both Judgement games are easier to follow or let alone accessible compared to the mainline Yakuza games as in my honest opinion, I do lose track of the story on Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami 2 at times due to its complicated nature of the plot.
Plus I remember that Judgement/Lost Judgement do have interactive cutscenes where you can choose an outcome which gives the story a more controllable feel (e.g. the court cases in the vein of Ace Attorney).
Would Judgement/Lost Judgement be a good palette cleanser while waiting for the possible Kiwami 3? I know Lost Judgement would have particular spoilers from Y7: LAD but is it too HUGE of a spoiler to affect my overall appreciation of the overall story as a standalone title?

I'm 27, female, still a virgin who prefers to give that away so long as it's with someone long term and possibly husband material, and has never dated in her entire life. (old friend of mine would disagree, but we never went out alone as a couple and whatever it was lasted a week, long story, don't have the time to care.)
I'm looking to marry one day and have a family. A very, very small family.
I'm giving dating apps a try, but most men aren't my "type" or are only interested in hook ups. Due to work, I barely have time to go out and meet people. I've started going to more events in my home town, some of which on my own, no friends or family, just me. Going out splurge shopping on my own and trying to be more active on social media. (I WILL NEVER GIVE MY ADDRESS OR PHONE NUMBER TO ANYONE UNLESS I MEET THEM IN REAL LIFE AND I'VE DEVELOPED SOME FORM OF TRUST)
With all that said, the idea of someone flirting with me gives me some kind of anxiety and I'm always uncertain when someone wants to invite me anywhere. Almost every one in my life has had at least one horrible relationship and it's made me nervous about falling for someone and having something I can never get back be taken from me. I work at a jewelry store and some of our customers help me believe in love, but it gets overshadowed when I think of all the things that could go horribly wrong.
I've been told I need to learn to let people in and give some level of trust, but it just gives me a sense of anxiety at the idea of things taking a bad turn.
I don't know if anyone else is going through the same problem and if it's just me, but any and all advice is welcome. Have you just gone for it or did you have to tell your possible partner that you need time to understand what you're feeling?
I've tried Bumble and OkCupid. Is there a better app for what I'm dealing with or are those our best options at the moment?
To give you somewhat of a better idea of the kind of person I am, my type would be described as: 1) living a healthy lifestyle, i.e. eating healthy and not being a complete couch potato, 2) have a well enough paying job to provide for himself and live a financially healthy lifestyle, 3) doesn't have to be demi, gray, ace, ect. but at least understand where I'm coming from when it comes to my anxiety about entering a relationship whether it's platonic or romantic, and 4) not judge me based on my religion or my lack of following ALL their rules, seriously so many rules...

I'm not sure how to go about it, but I'm pretty sure I know the solution to the riddle. Although I'm new to this subreddit, I geeked out on the hunt during COVID and went back to yesterday (after being near Golden Gate Park for lunch) to see where things were at, and think I've got it figured out.
I just came back from where I think the casque is buried this morning, and the soil there is nice and soft, which is consistent with the casques that have been found. I've submitted a request to dig in Golden Gate Park with SF Recreation & Parks and am waiting to hear back.
Here's the solution up to good ol' Twain:

• The starting point for me ("At stone wall's door") is not the Shakespeare bust (which is not stone as far as I can tell), but the Portals of the Past in Golden Gate Park, which is largely made of marble (I think).
• The Conservatory of Flowers and the Rose Garden are nearby, and just a few feet from the Portal itself are lavender flowers, so the "air smells sweet" there.
• I believe "high posts are three" refer to Sutro Tower and "Education" is UCSF Parnassus, which are both visible from high points in the area.
• I think "and Justice for all" is supposed to be read separately from "Education," and refers to JFK Drive, which had its name back then.
• I agree with others that "Sounds from the sky Near ace is high" refers to being near where JFK Drive passes beneath Highway 1. "[A]ce is high" is Highway 1, and "Sounds from the sky" means the Highway 1 traffic (from beneath it).
• "Running north, but first across" has two meanings: (1) Highway 1 runs north bisecting the park but just before Fulton Street it cuts east before continuing north to the Presidio, so Highway 1 is "running north, but first across," and (2) when standing on JFK Drive just east of the overpass, the Prayerbook Cross is north up the hill (i.e., "but first across" = "but, first, a cross").

My solutions for the "object of Twain's attention," "Giant pole" and "Giant step" will not be disclosed until after the dig, but they're so dastardly simple you'll freak (if they're correct, that is). I'll be sure to post my entire solution asap after the dig regardless.
Other than the starting point (which AFAIK has not been proposed online before), none of the solution is original to me. (I've seen mentions of them on various discussion threads.) My solutions to the last three clues, however, do seem to be novel and would give the location away in a heartbeat, so I'd like to have the chance to dig first before disclosing them.

• EKT: Came from a modern porno film.
• TMS: Is a classic rock song recorded from a German radio station around 1984, from a time before the internet and digital media.

2. Historical Context and Volume of Data:

• EKT: Had limited historical information or detail from Carl92 who disappeared from the search (perhaps we now know why!).
• TMS: Has a huge history, with data collected over many years, including radio playlists, hundreds of pages of spreadsheets and extensive research. The original poster of the song is known and has been helping the search.

History of the TMS Search

The quest to identify TMS began when Lydia's brother uploaded it online in 2007 after recording it from the radio in the 1980s. Since then, a global community has formed to find the song's origins.

Key Milestones:

• Recorded on German Radio: Most likely in late 1984.
• Initial Search: First questions about the song posted online in 2007 (Usenet)
• Full recording: July 12, 2019 - the full song is re-found and uploaded.
• Original Poster Located: 2019 - the original recorders / posters (Lydia and her brother Darius are located)
• Technical Analysis: A distinct 10 kHz line was found in the song's spectrum, typical for 1980s FM broadcasts from NDR Radio, supporting its origin from that radio station. The line was very recently found to be broadcast at exactly 10khz and differences on the frequency found on the tapes are mostly due to tape copying and wear (this has been helpful in identifying airdates).
• Radio Playlists: Obtaining playlists from NDR radio resulted in hundreds of pages of bands reviewed and narrowed down potential air dates but did not locate the song.
• November 1st, 2021: a higher quality version of the song was found while reviewing tapes and is now on YouTube.
• Possible Air Dates: 2024 - Research points to dates like September 28, November 28, December 2, or September 17, 1984, as to when the song likely aired.
• Current Research: Searching through the Stasi Archives is now underway for any possible recordings or surveillance data to find if East Germany might have recorded or transcribed the broadcast of the song, given their extensive media monitoring during the Cold War era.

After reinstalling the cd1 os I am unable to do a input shaping calibration using the adxl345 sensor, if I send any of the commands in the console I get // Unknown command: I have in the print.cig file

As the title said, I did 't get all of them and my t-shirt obviously evolved a bit during the tournament. Everyone I interacted with, talent, players and other attendees were all super nice and everyone crossed themselves off on the shirt. Anyways, here is how it all went down:
DAY 1 The first day I managed to get all the talent present at the tournament. I didn't know SVG was casting from home so that was why he was on there. During the first game of the day my buddy realized we were sitting in front of where the casters was located at the top of the rows. After the series I went up and bagged the first two selfies, Synderen first and then Sunsfan. In the break between series Sheever was doing content in the main lobby so I stuck around until they were done filming. Next series had Fogged and ODPixel so I sat at the same place and got him as well. I managed to grab a hold of Teaguv on the floor after a draft and as I was leaving, Quinn suddenly walked past me. Tsunami was still around after CCnC and he was also more than happy to pose for a selfie to round out the day.
DAY 2 I saw Teaguvnor early in the day and asked him if he thought Cy and Ace would be at the arena and he said they wouldn't. Eliminated teams usually all went home so they weren't here. I thought he ment all teams but, as I later realized, he only meant teams eleminated in the group stages, not the play-off days. Seing as Liquid and XG were knocked out on the first day I thought they had left so I made some changes to my t-shirt before going to the venue. My girlfriend was a part of the cosplay competition as the arcana windranger and as he was preparing to host the cosplay ceremoni I managed to grab a hold of him and say Hi. I obviously shouldn't have done that as he clearly vandalized my precious t-shirt! After that I got Jenkins and Mini-Jenkins on the floor before the first series. After the last game of the day I found Cr1t and ATF to finish the day.
DAY 3 The only one, and the last one I got was Sneyking after they won the first of their series that day. I got two extra selfies on the last day though. Blitz was super awesome and had reached out to me on Reddit to help me get his selfie. Unfortunately I didn't see it until after I had already crossed him off on the shirt but he was really cool about it and I obviously had to have one with him. The last picture is of me, my buddy and Papa Flower. My buddy is a big OG fan and on day one he said he was 80% sure he had seen N0tail's dad. On day 3 he was waiting for me at a table and the guy came and asked if the chair was available and sat down and it turned out my friend was right.
This was great fun and I'll definitely do another shirt for TI in Copenhagen!

There's been some discussion about an Ace Combat movie that pops up in this subreddit here and there, but, as someone with screenwriting experience, I think that there are a few major quirks with the way Ace Combat games are structured that would make potential movies be pretty not great (at least in traditional blockbuster-style, I.E. Top Gun Maverick).
1) Plot Structure: the Ace Combat series uses cutscenes a lot differently than most games. Ace Combat cutscenes tend to focus on what happens outside of the playable character's life. This is actually pretty uncommon if you think about it. Think about this: what's the last non-Ace Combat game you played where the cutscenes didn't involve playable characters at all? The Ace Combat series generally takes full advantage of the player knowing what's in a mission and what's in a cutscene, with little to no overlap unless it's to tell the same scene from a different character's point of view. This is terrible from a movie-making perspective, where typically the runtime is limited to two-ish hours and there is only one point of view. There have been some movies that have several points of view, but those are usually avant-garde films that don't typically perform too well at the box-office and come with their own problems in writing and production.
2) Silent Protagonist: Ace Combat is known for its silent protagonists, and the fans of the series have adapted to it enough that a speaking protagonist immediately got hated on (looking at you, Assault Horizon). This works fine in a video game medium, because the player can seamlessly fill this slot, because the characters in the game are talking directly to the player, and not a stand-in. This would be AWFUL in a movie setting. The fans of the series don't realize this, again because we're used to it, but most moviegoers find it helpful when a character talks during a movie. Talking is the way humans connect to each other, and without that connection (silent protagonist), it's harder than you think it is to relate to the characters on-screen. The closest thing we've gotten to an Ace Combat movie, Top Gun: Maverick, has an endearing character because we know what kind of a person Maverick is not just through his actions, but through the things he says. It's hard to think about from outside of the filmmaking perspective, but dialogue, especially from the protagonist, is what makes the audience resonate with the characters in movies. Again, video games can easily avoid this, because the player is doing the actions rather than just seeing it.
3) Niche: This goes without saying, but an Ace Combat movie would appeal to an incredibly niche type of audience. When making a movie, you have to sacrifice some artistic intent to appeal to the markets, especially when you are trying to make money (which all movies are, let's not kid anyone here). Video Game movies are still even more niche. That's kind of changing, there have been some good adaptations recently, but for the most part, video game adaptations are either not good or not successful (sometimes both).
Example: If there was a show/movie about say, Sol Squadron, that solves point 1 and 2, but the audience for that probably won't even cover all Ace Combat fans, and it likely wouldn't cover many military television fans either (who I'm assuming would be the second target audience), due to the inherent unrealism of the setting.
TL;DR: Ace Combat's uniqueness has a lot of quirks that don't really work in traditional cinema, and Ace Combat games fully utilize the video game medium to tell their stories the way that they do. Therefore, an Ace Combat show/movie will probably leave a lot to be desired and will probably also financially underperform. I think we should just stick to the games, they're already fantastic.
