Hey everyone, wanted to share my saga here because this issue seems to be out there, and in my research I found several forums detailing the issue I had but no resolution. I wanted to post this in hopes it could help others.
TL;DR The ignition switch was bad.
(I am aware of the TSB relating to this issue, and it was in fact applicable to this repair.)
A few weeks ago while leaving work, I noticed my truck shifted hard into second. This was followed by a check engine light. On the next ignition cycle, I was in limp. For about a week or so, my truck would go through this cycle: Hard shift, check engine light, limp mode, shift fine, CEL out, drives fine, then repeat.
I pulled codes, and had P0740 - TCC Control Circuit, P2761 - TCC PC Control Circuit, and P0785 3-2 Shift Solenoid Control Circuit. These codes would set immediately upon ignition, which pointed me in the direction of a circuit or solenoid issue. I plugged these codes into Alldata and immediately found TSB number 01-07-30-002E, which detailed my issue and included additional information for possible inoperable clusters. The ignition switch supplies ignition voltage to the dashboard fuse panel, "Ignition 0", which branches off and feeds the cluster on one circuit, and the PCM and transmission solenoids on the other. This circuit flows from the dash fuse panel, to the underhood fuse box. There it splits off to the PCM and the transmission.
Here's the thing: My cluster worked just fine. Also, with the key on, I had battery voltage at that fuse. So I went to town on a normal transmission solenoid circuit diagnostic journey. I pulled the PCM connectors and checked resistance from there, through every transmission solenoid via the control circuit, and back through the ignition circuit. I found two different sources online for resistance values of the solenoids, and the values I found are as follows: "A" and "B" shift solenoids: 20-40 ohms. TCC solenoid: 20-40 ohms. TCC PC and 3-2 shift solenoids: 9-14 ohms.
Here we found our first peculiarity: According to the information I found, the 3-2 solenoid had too much resistance, as mine had 23 ohms. Ahah, I think, there's my issue. So I order one, it's cheap but I'll deal. Get it, unbox it, check the resistance: 22 ohms. Ok, I'll order one from GM then. Get it, unbox it, same thing. So I call a local transmission shop, ask if they have one and if they do, will they let me test it? They were kind enough to let me give it a shot, and lo and behold: 22 ohms. Turns out, there's more than one specification for this solenoid: 21-28 ohms.
OK, it's not the 3-2 solenoid. I've checked all the circuits, but let's double check that ignition circuit again. All the solenoids share it, it makes sense considering the codes set immediately with start-up, let's look for an open or a short.
Check resistance between the dash and the underhood fuse boxes: .5 ohms. Check between the underhood incoming and outgoing connections (maybe I have a bad fuse box?) .5 ohms. Between the box, the PCM, and the transmission: .5 ohms. I plugged it back together, disconnected my transmission connector, and checked voltage at pin "E" (ignition feed) with the key on: Battery voltage.
WHAT THE HELL?!
With everything checking out, I decide only one thing remains: The PCM. I order one, wait a week to get it, do the 30 minute security learn procedure, start it up, immediately in limp. Except now, EVERY solenoid is setting a circuit code.
Hey, guess what circuit all these solenoids share? The ignition feed. The one discussed in that TSB. There's one thing I haven't checked: Voltage on this circuit, engine running. I pull the cover off the dash fuse panel, connect my meter to the fuse on "Ign 0", and turn the key on: battery voltage. Meter still connected, start the engine: 3.40 volts on "Ign 0" fuse.
IT IS THE GODDAMN IGNITION SWITCH
Though the circuits were fine with the ignition switch in "Run", when switched to "Start" and back again, I lost all my voltage. Since I tested with the switch in "Run" in all previous attempts, I never caught this. Put a $30 switch in, back to normal. Yes, I should have just gone with the TSB, but the cluster was fine, I had battery voltage down there at the transmission, that bulletin doesn't apply, right?
Wrong. Anyway. Hopefully this helps someone now or in the future. Just buying a switch first would have saved me about $230. But hey, sometimes the lesson has to go the hard way, doesn't it?

Simplified Symptoms list: Blood pressure averages at around 175 systolic, 99 diastolic. Sometimes it goes up to over 190 systolic pressure, even when I don't feel anything off despite some, but not bad weariness. Also I suffer hyperhirdosis; I noticeably sweat more and more easily than others. Bad sleep.
Health background : Nothing protruding. I had repeated encounters of dog bites with puntured skin during my childhood, once on my head. Had chickenpox as a joung child and scarlet fever as a child. I live in areas with many ticks, which can transfer diseases. I had multiple ticks stuck on me during my lifetime, but not once a prominent infection. I tended to have regular middle ear infections due to having longer hair in my youth and going out into the cold winter with wet hair. Had multiple bones broke, most remarkably my left clavicle which was not 100% aligned to grow together.
I made a full run of experts: • Nephrologist • Radiologist • Cardiologist • Blood screens Result: nothing, except my right kidney seems to have split arteries connecting it to my aorta, but the doc said both diameters together should average to normal blood flow. The blood screen results pointed to a slightly hightened but not alarming result of the enzyme that points to the kidneys. (I forgot what it was called, sadly). I took blood pressure medication myself once but stopped as I wished to tend to the cause and not treat the symptoms. But a healthier lifestyle seemed not to help me...
Background of Symptoms : High bloodpressure was first detected when I was around 16 when I messured just for fun. Back then it averaged at about 155 systolic pressure.
Family history: My mother is taking blood pressure medication and my grandma (mothers side) has hightened blood pressure as does my grandpa(fathers side). They are old and seem to get by with it well, except my mother. She has a unhealthy style of life and cannot handle stress very good. Father had diabetes.
Other information: I exerecise regularly by going for runs, swimming, bouldering among other sports. I have a great variety of sports and do mostly cardio but also calisthenics. I stretch and use blackrolls for tensions in my muscles. I had long-term ECG device not too long ago. The results said I had a great range between high pulse and low pulse. BUT it detected sleeping apnoea. And indeed I go weeks of bad sleep before I am reminded by some wonder, that sleep can be restful. I eat vegetables or fruit to every single meal and try to mix it up regularly. Nuts, different grain, fish and meat is on my menue and I also take Vitamin D and Vitamin B12 and sometimes Magnesium supplements. I don't smoke and don't abuse any substances, though I consume alcohol and the occasional hash cookie. I drink one coffee per day and don't use much salt. I get my regular walks and during sunny days go into the sun. I meditate from time to time and have a supportive partner. In my mind I life way healthier than the average person but my energy level and motivation seem to be always way too low.

2024.05.14 22:57 PhilosophyThese4672 Girlfriend [F30] is currently ghosting me. Am I [F25] wrong for not being able to meet my girlfriends mom?
My girlfriend (F30) and I (F25) have been together for 4 years. We live 2 hours away from each other. She has meet a lot of my family due to them living in the same state as us, but I have yet to meet her family because they live in Texas. Though we haven't met, I do talk to her mom on FaceTime whenever my girlfriend talks to her so it's not like we have a bad relationship. My girlfriend and I have made attempts to go to Texas to see her but life always came in the way. And though my girlfriend has gone there to see her mom, it usually during the times her mom is going through something or a funeral and she doesn't want me to meet them during situations like that. I did try to meet her mom recently when I was staying over my girlfriends place because she is a truck driver and just happened to be driving through the state, but her mom expressed that she was tired and looked a mess so we didn't get the chance to meet. It was disappointing, however, she did say that she was planning on coming down on mothers day along with my girlfriends brother and his kids.
My mom usually likes taking trips during mothers day weekend and we usually celebrate it as a family the weekend after, so I told my girlfriends mom that we can see each other then. I told my mom about my plans to ensure she didn't feel any type of way about it too which she didn't). My girlfriends family was suppose to stay Friday to Monday morning and she asked if I could come that Saturday night because they were planning on going to see her grandfather 4 hours away. I have to take a bus in order to see her, so once she told me their plans, I booked my ticket the same day. For the past 2 months, my girlfriend has been working overtime in order to help prepare for their arrival and I tried my best to assist with that by buying things for her apartment.
Monday, the week they were coming down, my mom informed me that she was diagnosed with lupus. My mom almost passed away 4 years ago from a blood clot and ever since then, her health has kind of been all over the place. However, for 1 year, it did seem like everything was starting to become under control. So to hear she had lupus, did make me emotional. My mom told me that she was still okay with me meeting my girlfriends mom because she was still going to continue with her own plans. I informed my girlfriend about my mom's diagnosis and she was empathetic about the whole situation.
Fast forward to the day I was preparing to leave, I spoke to my girlfriend that morning and we expressed how excited we were for the overdue introduction in person. When I was in the middle of getting ready, my mom decided to have a conversation with me about mothers day. She expressed that she actually does want my sister and I to spend mothers day together with her because her health is starting to scare her and she doesn't know what will happen in the future. My mom usually likes taking trips during mothers day weekend and we usually celebrate it as a family the weekend after, so I told my girlfriends mom that we can see each other then. I told my mom about my plans to ensure she didn't feel any type of way about it too which she didn't). My girlfriends family was suppose to stay Friday to Monday morning and she asked if I could come that Saturday night because they were planning on going to see her grandfather 4 hours away. I have to take a bus in order to see her, so once she told me their plans, I booked my ticket the same day. For the past 2 months, my girlfriend has been working overtime in order to help prepare for their arrival and I tried my best to assist with that by buying things for her apartment.
Monday, the week they were coming down, my mom informed me that she was diagnosed with lupus. My mom almost passed away 4 years ago from a blood clot and ever since then, her health has kind of been all over the place. However, for 1 year, it did seem like everything was starting to become under control. So to hear she had lupus, did make me emotional. My mom told me that she was still okay with me meeting my girlfriends mom because she was still going to continue with her own plans. I informed my girlfriend about my mom's diagnosis and she was empathetic about the whole situation.
Fast forward to the day I was preparing to leave, I spoke to my girlfriend that morning and we expressed how excited we were for the overdue introduction in person. When I was in the middle of getting ready, my mom decided to have a conversation with me about mothers day. She expressed that she actually does want my sister and I to spend mothers day together with her because her health is starting to scare her and she doesn't know what will happen in the future. We've been satellite customers since 2011 when we moved in to our home. We currently have an HR44/500 in our living room and an HR24/500 in our master bedroom, both with plenty of recordings stored on them. I'm not ready to cut the cord, so to speak, because our T-Mobile internet service has proved to be unreliable over time, but I am considering it as an option.
I'd like to upgrade the HR44 to their newest receiver but I have some questions first:
1) Will an HR54 receiver communicate with our HR24? Would we be able to watch recordings from the HR24 on an HR54?
2) Would we be able to move all of the existing recordings from our HR44 to a new HR54? I saw this capability on a screensaver ad while the HR44 was paused for a while. Would be able to move recordings from our HR24 to an HR54, as well?
3) What is the storage capacity of an HR54 compared to our HR44?
4) Is a two-year commitment required in order to get the upgrade? Given how long we have been customers, what are the chances I could get this reduced or eliminated?

me and john liked each other, on october 7th we kissed. and about 4 days later i met up with alex and “hooked up” which i later found out he sexually assaulted me

and so he saw the message and got upset, and i took the hint that this guy just doesnt want me to interact w eric at all and i understood but i understood him way too fucking late and he broke up with me
which for some reason my dumbass was shocked even tho he made it clear that he didnt want me speaking to john so this is where i realized i fucked up
i took it as a lesson and learned to not do it again but i was too late

and now we havent spoken over a month and its slowly killing me because my friend who was close with him said he was dead set with his decision n doesnt wanna get back with me. i dont know if this will change because right now he has new priorities like studies since hes graduating soon. but right now, he seems dead set with his decision even tho his biggest fear was losing me. i saw the way he would talk about me and we were so deeply in love.

Just got a tamagotchi uni over the weekend. Raised a Tama to an adult and went to tamaverse to explore. I don't remember exactly what I did but I think I went to a party, went to a date, got prompted if I wanted to get married so I clicked yes. My adult Tama now disappeared and I got a new egg. I'm so confused did I lose my adult Tama forever? Is there a menu place I can see my past Tama? I still had some food that wasn't eaten by the adult Tama but doesn't seem like my new baby Tama has access to those. Did I lose my food and other items too?

Hello community,
I create an action RPG. The protagonist can put on different weapons and helmets. The complete sprite must contain a TextureRegion for shield (back layer), body, helmet, weapon and shield (front layer). Every TextureRegion is drawn for all player's animations (81 texture region for every sprite). As the result: 405 texture regions for the player. And the player can change the weapon or shield or body armor.
I want to make this
I don't want to hold all the TextureRegions in the memory. I found the way - I have created one large TextureAtlas 2048x2048 (My own implementation - not the Atlas from LibGDX packages) with all the game texture regions, enemies, HUD-elements and so on exclude player. I have created also separate atlases with the same resolution and all the player single TextureRegions for every clothable object (for a sword, for a helmet, for a wooden shield and so on).
Texture with sprites for some player's animations for the chain armor - no helmet, no weapon, no shield.
At the game loading:
1) I upload the texture with the MainTexture with all the game graphic exclude player;
2) I upload the textures with the texture regions for player's sword, helmet, shield, body armor;
3) I render the textures with the texture regions for player's sword, helmet, shield, body armor on the main texture in the right order. Not on the screen!
4) I dispose the uploaded textures with the texture regions for player's sword, helmet, shield, body armor;

I have applied to online masters programs for I-O Psychology. I have been in the workforce for 2 years, primarily in Operations and I don’t love it. I would like to shift my focus to HR at this time. Best case scenario I’d like to go through the Johnson&Johnson HR Leadership Development Program. That is short term, long term I’d like to land in academia and eventually be a professor.
I know generally online degrees don’t have the best reputation and in order to be a professor it is advisable to have your PhD. I am planning on eventually pursuing my PhD, but for now I’d like to just do the masters to ensure this is the right field for me.
Given all of the above, which school would best prepare me for the path of initially going into corporate HR setting and eventually land in academia? I have been accepted to CSU, Auburn and University of Maryland. Or are there any other programs/schools that are more reputable?

This happened in probably 2017/2028. I was a college student in Amherst, MA. One night my buddy and I headed to the McDonalds in Hadley, MA which takes less than 10mins without traffic. We headed there late in the e night so no traffic, we parked and walked in, ordered food and took it to a window seat start eating and chatting. When we entered the McDonalds there’s still people ordering, car parked in the lot, it’s near many colleges so kids go there for late night food a lot. After I sat down took few bites of the food, my gf text me asking how’s it going, when I’m going back etc. I told here it won’t be long, probably 30mins including the time to eat and chat. Then we just kept eating until we finish, I looked up, there’s no one in the restaurants anymore. At that point I don’t feel strange or anything just thought people just left. Then we walked out the McDonalds, there’s quite some fog. But that area has fog from time to time. And all the cars except for ours in the lot were gone too but I mean if people left, their car should leave too. So we got into our car, before we started the car, we saw an old early 2000s suv pulled into the lot with zero noise. No engine sound, I didn’t noticed the light until it pulled over to my right front spot. It kinda seemed it just slide in with no friction or anything. Still at that point, I didn’t have any unsettling feelings. My buddy started driving, and we somehow got into the lot across the street, which is a little mall area if I remember correctly. We went there quite often, and none of us realized we got into that parking lot road. The fog is still strong, we kept driving but couldn’t find the right exit. After few mins(in my memory), we saw a police car driving and decided to follow him, eventually led us out of the lot. Counting from leaving McDonalds, it didn’t seem to take longer than half an hour. Then when I got home, my gf got mad cuz she told me more than 3 hours just passed, she passed out on the couch and was waiting for me to come back. We compared the text message she sent while I was in the restaurant, that was from more than 3 hour ago already…… then we both went silent not knowing what to say. I’m still getting chills while writing this, if you have similar experience, please share and we can compare.

I am using a tethered connection usb 3 cable, and connecting to my PC using the pico link software. using it as a virtual desktop works fine, but when I click launch steamvr, it starts for a second, then disconnects. I used the headset for an hour or two earlier playing rumble and it worked great so idk what changed since then. couldn't find anything on google so any help would be appreciated. edit: virtual desktop/wireless connection isn't an option right now

I cancelled my MYP order yesterday as Tesla does not seem in a strong place right now. With layoffs and sales decline who will look after customer service when issues arise? I was very exited and am disappointed but hopefully soon Tesla gets itself back together.

2024.05.14 22:45 Chroniclerz Slave Uprising in the desert was a bad idea I guess
Story time. I'm playing a Garthimi Slave-City build. Based in a desert, rampaging across the countryside and taking slaves / property. I get to 2k citizens (Garthimi only) and 8k slaves before things completely flop on me since I have no Garthimi slaves on hand to emancipate in order to up the submission temporarily. So they finally start uprising right as I am in the middle of trying to up their quality of life so that they aren't AS mad at me.
Then the funny thing happens. This is the first uprising that has happened to me. They start gathering, presumably looting my supplies while they are at it, all along the central river on both sides. But they just keep gathering. And I guess some of them were low on clothes, and it may have been a hot day. Anyway. I have 1200 new corpses on my hands due to heat stroke. Still haven't uprisen. I suppose that might happen eventually, or they might all die first. Honestly not certain which at this point. I wish they'd dig the graves first though because I'm only equipped for 1800 corpses at the moment and I have concerns...

But I'm going to search the components, see if I can order the missing caps, do a little magic. I do this in bing. submitted by kushmushin to ChatGPT [link] [comments] I search ''gt710 c651 c652" and bing gives me nothing up front. So I switch over to copilot. I was going to ask it if I gave it a picture of the card if it could identify the missing caps. But we all know the search carries over, right? So copilot just shoots this out, and I'm still thinking about how I'll ask it to view my photos. But then I read number 2 in it's list. In the right order it tells me the missing cap's number, and the number of the cap that is, yes, still hanging on by one end. It literally tells me the entire answer to the reddit post without me having to prompt it. How did it know? I didn't tell it. The only way it would have known that if it was watching my reddit activity...
