I’m going to give the ages everyone was at the time so: Me (17F), my little sibling A (11NB), and Ex Boyfriend C (14M). I know the age gap is bad but please bear with me to the end
The start of things: my little sibling was playing Minecraft in a public server while I was hanging out with them, and their friend (C) was venting about their recent breakup. Having dated a couple people by then, I offered A some advice to give him since A had never had a partner. A started to get fed up with typing and wanted to play Minecraft- which is fair- so I told them to just give C my Skype (yes this is back when everyone had Skype) and I would talk to him there.
C was a friendly and sensitive kid, and I didn’t mind trying to help him feel better about his self-confidence and the breakup and everything. I was just trying to help him out for A’s sake since they were pretty close. Unfortunately, in giving C relationship advice and talking about what he wanted in a partner and such, he started to see me as a rebound. I didn’t really see much harm in this, and we had a lot in common and I was admittedly having my own issues at the time that made me enjoy the attention he gave me. We lived several states away so it would only be emotional attachment so I thought it would be okay to date him. Huge mistake and kinda gross on my part, I know.
I told some of my friends and they jokingly called me a “cougar” and a “cradle-robber”, but no one condemned me for it. Still, their comments made me really think about what I was doing and how it would be if things were reversed, and it was a guy in his 20s hitting on me. And then it hit me that even though we were both minors now, I would be 18 and a legal adult, and he would be in his second year of high school. I brought this up to him, but by now he was getting a little obsessive. He said he would wait until he was old enough to propose to me, and talking about our future kids. He was 14 and planning his life around me when he should’ve been worrying about which afterschool clubs to join. It made me sick to realize what I had done and set off every red flag, so I told him to forget about me and just focus on enjoying his teenage years. That I hoped he took all the advice I had given him and that it helped him love himself a little more and didn’t forget that just because of the breakup.
He did not want to. Begged me to reconsider, that he loved me, how could I do this to him, was everything I told him a lie, everything he could think of. I blocked him because I really wanted him to be able to get past me and I didn’t know what else to do. A couple days later I get a message from someone claiming to be C’s friend. He told me that C’s cancer had come back aggressively and that he was in the hospital. Over the next few hours he described how C was in and out of life before saying he flatlined. Not only was he telling me all of this, but he was telling it to A as well to make it more believable. My little sibling and I were sitting together thinking this guy we both cared about was gone and crying.
20 minutes later I get another message saying the doctors just revived him. This raised a huge red flag for me because I thought that that shouldn’t really be possible. I got suspicious about everything then. Suddenly C had his phone back and his “friend” told me to unblock him because he had amnesia from everything and needed to talk to me. So I unblocked him and he asked who I was, thinking that I would stay with him so that I would help him regain his memory and take care of him.
Well his plan backfired, because I remember thinking “this is my way out”. If he did have amnesia, he could move on and never even miss me. If he didn’t and it was a lie, then he was awful for doing all of this to me and my little sibling. I told him I was no one special, and I reiterated the most important pieces of advice I had given him, including about something very personal and traumatic to him. He said I must be very important if I knew about that. Red flag again, because if he had amnesia about everything like he claimed, how did he remember that? I told him again I wasn’t special and blocked him again, and also his “friend’s” account. I figured that was that and even though I was shaken, I was glad it was done.
UNTIL 3 or so years later my little sibling looks up from their phone and goes “did you know C was actually still alive?” I was shocked. I hadn’t even thought about him in a while. “Yeah? Did… did you not know?”
HE HADN’T TOLD A HE WAS STILL ALIVE
He went through all the trouble of telling A he was in the hospital and everything else, but only cared about telling me he was alive after. He let my little sibling grieve him for 3 YEARS. That was A’s first real experience with losing someone! I was so unbelievably angry. I hope C got the therapy he really needed at some point, but I also hope we never cross paths again.
That was 11 years ago. I’m married to someone who is a year older than me now, and I’m the crazy one in the relationship, not him.

I've been friends (more like acquaintances) with this guy for years. We went to school together and used to text off and on, sometimes talked on the phone. Sometimes I got the vibe he was into me, but I always felt like he was hotter than me so I couldn't see myself with him.
Recently, he texted me and we hung out for the first time. It was nice and the conversation flowed freely. After that he started texting me pretty frequently, which freaked me the eff out. I haven't dated in 7 years and I really want the next man I date to be "the one". I don't want to waste time on anyone else. So I blocked him, just out of nowhere. Because I'm effed in the head.
About 3 weeks went by and I started thinking I was too hasty with the block, and maybe I should give the guy a chance. I unblocked and about a week later I got a stream of texts from him saying "helllooo? you there? where'd you go?", etc. We talked and I apologized. He seemed a little taken aback, but was overall pretty cool about it. He asked if I still wanted him to text me and I said "if you want to" (because I'm wishy washy and a pain in the ass, I know).
He went on vacation shortly after that and texted me almost every day- usually just pics of the places he was at. It was confusing AF because I've never really had male friends, but it seems like this is more contact than just friends?
When he returned from vacation he went 4 days without texting- and not a text on Mother's Day, which I thought was a pretty clear sign he wasn't into me. When you're into someone you look for reasons to text, right? So why miss that one? And why go 4 days? Then he calls me and we have a great conversation, which leads to him asking when we can hang out again. "What would we do?" I ask.
"I don't know, what do you want to do? "You asked me to hang out. What do you want to do?"
"Well, I've got this great big screen TV. And you haven't seen my new place yet."
I told him I'd think about it. But I'm so disappointed! Clearly, if he saw me as dating material, he would have asked me on a date, right?
Do guys really invest this much energy just for a hookup? I have a feeling I know the answer. And I guess if I'm honest with myself he didn't invest much- just a text here and there. It's just more attention than I've had in so long that I made it out to be more in my mind.
So I guess I need to decline, lest I be placed in booty call territory.

Got locked out of my CRA account last night, got an email saying they removed my email. Called IPS this morning and had to fax in IDs and proof of addresses. I mentioned I’m on maternity leave and does that mean I won’t get my EI and CCB payment? The women on the phone just said anything government funded is frozen until my ID is verified - could take a few hours could take 4 months. I did previously file a complaint about my tax wait time, as I’ve been waiting over 2 months for my refund, and she mentioned it is an urgent case.
I also asked about why this was happening. She said she didn’t know, it was assigned to a review agent. I have to wait for the agent to call me. I asked when they’ll do that, she didn’t know. Seems to be a common theme.
Anyone been here before? Did your payments get frozen? I can’t live for 4 months on nothing with a brand new baby…my savings will be destroyed.

Hi All,
I did setup a VPN router, those mini routers with a VPN provider, i wanted to understand one point.
The configuration i made, is the VPN to be from france, the configuration is all good on this side, when i use my phone to connect with the VPN router and do IP LOOKUP it shows i’m in france, but with another laptop i have, usually used for work ( it also has another VPN inside, i think mainly to access the intranet) at first it was showing the same location as my phone, but weirdly after the laptop started showing i was located in switzerland and another time netherlands.
The question why is the work laptop is behaving this way? Showing wrong locations ? Does it have to do anything with the VPN already on it ? If Yes. Then why it was showing properly the location at first?
If it helps anyone, the VPN from the work laptop, looks like it’s from netscope.

10-user office has an ancient NEC PBX on CAT3 copper. Separate CAT5 network runs on a simple unmanaged switch. Company is expanding to a new building 300 ft away & needs to extend data and voice to it. To avoid running fibeCAT5 for LAN *and* CAT3 for phones, now is a good time to update the phone system. Not sure yet if server will be on prem or in cloud. Either way, I know the switch will need to support QOS for phones. Are there any other considerations for a switch upgrade to support VoIP, besides QOS?

Some context:
I live in a country where internet is generally bad.
We have a DSL line, but the cable is installed in a way that anyone using the building's elevator at any point in time interferes with it, cutting our connection for a good minute.
To combat that, we got a service where our connection is provided through a dish on our roof, then to our router through a cable. Works fine, I guess, but the speed is limited to 4 mbps.
However, the subscription costs an arm and a leg, but with that, you would expect a good support team, right?
Nope.
3 months ago, the Internet slowed to a crawl for seemingly no reason. Typical tuesday, I think, until it doesn't speed back up for over an hour. I contact support, their solution is basically "stop using the internet". My little brother was trying to play Roblox to no avail, and I was instructed to turn his laptop off and run a speed test. Internet back up, so problem solved, they say goodbye and hang up.
2 months ago, having Internet issues for over an hour. But this time, when I text them on WhatsApp, they just flat out ignore me, until I involve a parent to call them (I'm 16 and sound like a 12 yo over the phone, they wouldn't take me seriously). My messages are still left on delivered.
2 days ago, as I try to setup a server for files, it turns out that my ISP is using a CGNAT (basically I don't have a public IP to port forward from). I text them, to ask about having our own IPv4, possible extra costs, and if an IPv6 is already provided to us. My messages were read within 10 minutes, but STILL no reply for 2 fucking days.
I'm just really pissed at this point.
It's not worth switching ISPs, I'm emigrating in less than 2 months anyways.

When using SimCard from provider C, why their mobile sim card has a vpn ip address on my phone.
When using Provider A on the same phone, there is no vpn ip address. On my phone, there is no vpn apps or vpn profiles , etc.
My mobile network is 4g and it’s just a normal customer plan, Not a business plan.
Any ideas? Thanks

Hi, a few months ago I (16f) was in an online relationship with a guy (23m) who I met in an online video game. We were together for 5 months. He was very kind in the first month, but then he started to get really angry and yell at me a lot. He would also accuse me of cheating on him almost daily. After he started to show this behavior, I decided to end the relationship, but then he told me he had bipolar disorder, and that this was the reason he would get so angry. I asked him why he hadn’t told me this sooner, and he told me that he was scared I would break up with him for it. After this, I took him back. When I asked him what bipolar disorder was, he told me that it was a multiple personalities disorder, and that whenever he would get angry, he would blackout and wouldn’t remember anything that happened during the time that he was angry. But I found that every time he would come out of his angry state, he would miraculously remember everything that happened. I think he may have lied about what bipolar disorder was though, or maybe even lied about having it so he could excuse his abusive behaviour because shortly after I broke up with him, I looked up what bipolar disorder was. There was no mention of bipolar having anything to do with multiple personalities.
Anyway, back to the story. After a few months of constant minipulation and blackmail, I eventually got sick of it and tried to look for an escape. I initiated breakup multiple times, but every time, he would either threaten to hire someone to kill my family as he knew where I lived, threaten to post private photos of myself, make me feel bad about something, or he would threaten to kill himself. Now, before you say “Why didn’t you block him on everything?” Trust me, I did. But this wouldn’t stop him. He would just text or call my brothers and manipulate me through them, or he would spam my mums Xbox account with messages when she was online, and I didn’t want her to get involved so I would just unblock him. Every time he would threaten me, I would tell him that I didn’t mean what I said and that I still wanted to be with him. But eventually, being with him started to take a huge toll on my mental health. I started to act in ways that I never did before. I would throw temper tantrums every time he would text in the morning, letting me know that he was awake. I would punch the floor repeatedly as hard as I could whenever he called. I became extremely sensitive and cried over the dumbest reasons. My brother ate all my muffins and I bawled my eyes out. I never cry over things like that. Being with him was litterally driving me crazy.
And so, I planned on breaking up with him as soon as I moved countries, which was only a month away. On the day of my flight, I ghosted him. I was scared that he would post private pictures of myself online, but i ghosted him anyway because I was genuinely going insane being with him. After a few days, I forgot just how much I hated being with him, and out of fear and guilt I apologised for ghosting him and we got back together. I instantly regretted this when I woke up the following morning. He was nice again for about a day, but then he started to go back to his usual behavior. At this point, I hated myself and would have done anything to go back in time and not apologise to him, but of course that’s impossible. All I could do was wait for the right moment. I waited for him to say something. Something so bad that he couldn’t possibly make me feel bad about breaking up with him. And of course, that didn’t take long at all.
We were in the middle of a game, and my dog was hungry so I left to go feed her, he got angry. Later that night, he heard her yelp in pain (I think someone stepped on her paw?) and these were his exact words; “Was that Luna? Oh good. She’s dying. Now you won’t have to feed her anymore.” I asked him to repeat what he had just said, and he did as asked. I calmly left the game that we were in and I hung up the phone. He was very angry and instantly texted me, saying that I would regret it if I didn’t call him back immediately. But I didn’t care. I was way too angry to care. After he realised that I wasn’t going to call him back and that I was breaking up with him, his mood suddenly changed and he instantly started apologising and tried to make me feel guilty like he usually did. It was Wednesday when this happened, and every Wednesday he would spend time with his family and go out somewhere. He used this to try and make me feel guilty. “Wednesday is the only time I get to spend with my family, and you are taking it away from me! I can’t go out when I’m crying this much!” He said something along the lines of this. (Which is ridiculous of him to say, as he would literally make me spend every single minute of every single day day with him, and would get angry if I wanted to spend time with my family. For example; when my dad wanted to take me and my brothers on a 2 day holiday to the beach one last time as a goodbye present, he got very angry and said that he wanted my dad dead. I still went anyway, by the way.) I just laughed when he said this. I was so happy. Maybe the happiest I had been in my whole life. Possibly even the happiest person in the world at that moment. But not because he ‘couldn’t spend time with his family’, but because I knew that this time, we surely wouldn’t get back together. After a few days, he stopped texting me and eventually gave up. Finally, freedom!
But to this day I still wonder; was I wrong? If he really did have bipolar like he said he did and couldn’t control what he said or did when he was angry, would that make me wrong for leaving him?

Long story short i ( 21F) made a bad decision, dated someone (20M) for approximately 9 months, chalked up the manipulative behaviors to trauma and stayed longer than i shouldve

When i left he started blowing up on me and when i didnt respond how he wanted it escalated, he started being aggressive berating me and calling me a narcissit, he has been calling my phone multiple times a day, when I change number he makes new ones, started messaging my loved ones, posting About me non-stop, lies, calling me crazy and delusional, text messages with whatever context he wants, stalking accounts ive blocked him on with other accounts, I have blocked him every where, its been a week of this
i unblocked him asking him to stop messaging my friends/ people i know and to just believe everything bad he believes of me and just let me be, he replied a long text saying he was "speaking to people i know that agreed with him" and that he wanted to show everyone who I "really am" a bunch of the same stuff just scary

More info that might matter, his ex has a restraining order against him (that he disregards however he sees fit) because he essentially did the same thing hes doing right now to her but worst, he threatened to kill her and himself, his entire friend group at the time sided with his ex, he told me its because she had abused him and pushed him this far and i believed it at the time but now being in the exact situation she was minus the threats on my life i can see him for what he is
I called a domestic violence hotline, they told me to file a police report for harrasment
Im scared to not be taken seriously and bring more trouble by making him angry, i know harassment is illegal but he genuinely threatened his ex and walked off with a restraining order only, he lives in another province so although hes unpredictable enough to show up here if he wants im not directly accessible for him to hurt me physically and i know that despite the restraining order he still harasses his ex and genuinely believes that she still cares about him and wants to he in his life, he has thoughts like this a lot, he has cyber stalked other girls before bc he belived she was sending him indirect message to keep going even after she blocked him, a friend of hers had to tell him to stop Im just worried that it wont really stop him ? Or might make it worst

I need advice im really desperate, im scared i feel trapped

Are you looking between Northwest Registered Agent and ZenBusiness for your LLC formation?
I’ve recently had a go, and wading through the websites trying to compare is a bit of a pain.
And then most of the online reviews are so bias one way or the other, so it’s hard to get a really good impression.
So, I’ve basically written up the research that I did, and hopefully this will help you too…

The LLC Package: What do you get?

Both services have a basic package, so what else do you get besides the actual Articles of Organization filing with the state? (Which in both cases is an added expense on top of the formation service).
Northwest Registered Agent
The basic package includes:

• one year of free Registered Agent service
• free Annual Report reminders service
• an Operating Agreement template
• a bank account resolution
• LLC Membership Certificates
• and a free trial of VoIP phone service.

ZenBusiness
The basic package (called “Starter”) includes:

• one year of free Registered Agent services
• one free year of Worry Free Compliance Service
• an Operating Agreement template
• an Accounting Consultation
• and a Google Ads credit match.

My Opinion on the LLC Packages

Northwest Registered Agent keeps it refreshingly simple. No fussing over different packages here. Just one flat price, plus state fees, and you're good to go.
You won't find any add-ons that increase the cost without you knowing why either.
They're flexible too. Pay monthly instead of all at once? Yep, they're cool with that. Plus, they throw in an EIN number for your business for free if you opt for monthly payments.
Oh, and you still get all the other goodies like an Operating Agreement and a year of Registered Agent service.
Now, onto ZenBusiness. They've got the Starter, the Pro, and the Premium packages.
The Starter is clearly fantastic at $0 (plus state fee), but watch out for the annual compliance service that could sneak up on you with the $119 a year price tag.
They also add in their Registered Agent service, which renews at $199 annually.
The Pro package? Well, it's got a few extras and expedited filing, but $199 might be a stretch. And as for the Premium, unless web hosting is your jam, the extra $100 just doesn't seem worth it.
Northwest Registered Agent won it on this front. It's transparent one off payment means you know what you're in for. I just prefer the clarity.

Turnaround Time

Northwest Registered Agent prides itself on being fast. They'll process your order within just a few days
One of its offices may even ring/email to dot the i's and cross the t's, but that's just to make sure everything's tip-top.
And if you're in a real hurry, expedited filing options are available.
Now, onto ZenBusiness. They're no slouches either, boasting a 2-day turnaround time to get your docs to the state.
And if you're paying more for the Pro or Premium packages, they'll fast-track your paperwork straight to the state.
In all honest, from the online reviews and the services they both offer, it is pretty much a draw on this one.

Customer Service

Next up, customer service.
Okay, this is where I am going to be biased, because (spoiler alert) Northwest is the service I eventually opted for.
I have to say, the support really was fantastic.
Their reps were spot on with the information I needed, (I have a tendency to double check everything in order to make sure it's done correctly), providing extra details and advice beyond what I was requesting.
I basically can't rate them higher in this regard.
That being said, ZenBusiness holds its own in the customer service arena, with reliable support via phone or online chat.
I checked a lot of the reviews in my research as the availability of customer service is really important to me, and generally the feedback is high.
(From what I can see, however, they generally stick to the script and don't venture into the realm of offering extra guidance - I get the feeling Northwest are just more "bespoke" in this way).
Because it comes down to a very positive personal experience; Northwest Registered Agent wins this one.

Optional (or Free) Extras

Northwest Registered Agent throws in some great bonuses that may sway your decision toward them.
They offer a free trial with a VoIP phone service, meaning you can ditch the extra phone bills and keep your business connected.
They also provide some bonuses for those starting an e-commerce business, (these change so i won't list them here).
The phone service is only $9 a month after the trial should you opt for it.
Now, onto ZenBusiness. The Google Ads credit is a nice touch. But that's on the higher priced packages.
There is also the business documents service or virtual office offerings; but these didn't interest me. And "accounting consultation"... these extras all seemed part of the ZenBusiness upselling strategy if you ask me.
The winner here is Northwest Registered Agent. They provide some useful extras, all available for you to test out without reaching into your pocket.

Registered Agent Services

Northwest Registered Agent provides a great deal at $125 per year.
They strategically position their offices to save you cash on pesky publication requirements and state fees.
Plus, they have some excellent privacy protection, (they make a really big deal of it in terms of their USP).
Use their address on state filings to keep your personal information private and at no extra charge. This will limit spam mail while increasing peace of mind.
Personally, I loved this addition to the LLC package and after my research was a big reason I opted for them.
ZenBusiness fails a bit here with the $199 per year price tag for their Registered Agent service.
There is a "Complete Coverage," service where they'll handle your LLC's Annual Report filing too, so this might be beneficial to some people.
This Worry-Free Compliance comes with the Pro or Premium LLC package.
Additionally, both Northwest and ZenBusiness offer the same service when it comes to mail handling.
They will both scan and upload legal mail to your dashboard for easy access.
The clear winner here for me is Northwest Registered.
With the budget friendly registered agent service and office placement for lower priced fees, you can't really go wrong.

Website and User Experience

Last but not least, website and user experience.
Northwest's website is calm, focused, and devoid of unnecessary distractions. There is no hard sell going on here, which I liked.
Their user dashboard is really clear too. Its intuitive to use and keeps you informed throughout. A big thumbs up for this.
ZenBusiness, also nails it when it comes to user experience.
Their website is probably even more polished than Northwests, and it guides you through the process well.
But watch out for those upsells; it is clear the site is designed to make the sale.
From what I have seen of the user dashboard, ZenBusiness have a really good product too.
And the winner? Here it seems to be a tie! Both companies boast stellar website design and user experience, making things easy for the customer.

Final Words

If you've been keeping count, Northwest Registered Agent comes out on top in the research that I did.
Overall, they're experts in their field, focusing on LLC formation and registered agent services without bombarding you with confusing options.
The LLC formation process was nice and easy, and that extra bonus of increased privacy feels vital.
That being said, ZenBusiness is clearly still a popular choice.
Their customer service is great, and they offer everything you need to start your LLC.
My advice is just to be wary of those few upsells.
Subscription services starting out free but morphing into high annual costs is something you will want to avoid.

Hello! I'm having some issues getting tailscale to work over the network. I've been trying to connect my phone using roaming data to my desktop computer, but I'm only able to get it working over a relayed connection.
Here's the output of tailscale netcheck, as far as I know after reading the docs there shouldn't be anything preventing a direct connection from working (no hard NAT, no UDP traffic being blocked, I've set up NAT-PMP on my router...)

Any suggestions on what could be preventing a direct connection? Maybe I didn't set up NAT-PMP properly on the router? I'd appreciate any insight on how to troubleshoot this any further.

Initially won my UE claim after 7 weeks of back and forth between a claims rep and my ex company. I was approved because it was taking an unreasonable amount of time, and my employers facts were all contradicting.
They appealed the decision, and here we are.
I reviewed all the exhibits beforehand.
Issue #1 : Tardiness The worst things in the file are improvement plans that show I was tardy many times within a 6 month period. However, most of it was approved by my direct supervisor, and he was forced to issue IP’s to put me on notice. I fixed the issue, mostly. My adhd meds were on back order and unobtainable during the times I was tardy.
However, there are no time clock records. Only observations by my direct manager documenting times and dates. This was over 6 months prior to my termination.
Issue #2 poor performance Daily kpi metrics - The program used to record metrics is not a company policy to comply with. However it’s specific to my efforts and input. The process: log into phone systems- and log into a browser page that records, and uploads data for each call. Often times this webpage would crash in the background, or while minimized and it wouldn’t notify the user. The only way it was known to be working is to compare the progress of it during intervals in the day when reports are emailed. Some days this webpage doesn’t work at all.
I have a claim here that my KPI metrics on phone calls isnt intentional misconduct. I was actually putting in the efforts, and the system is flawed and outdated and would crash. These numbers also could be low due to a number of reasons. Lots of administrative work with approvals, compliance, underwriting, collecting, organizing, and basically doing all the back end work you don’t want your sales guys doing if you expect them to be on the phones all day. My most lucrative, and busiest month- I had 7 calls a day and 22 minutes talk time average a day. But I had the most productive month over my tenure at the company and I can demonstrate this with the exhibits alone. Lastly, I was approved by my manager to use my personal cell phone for work and regularly updated him on my efforts.

3 quotas

Each month your sales volume quota increases to an absurd number that only 1 person, with 7 years of experience was on target, out of 27 others on the team. It’s unobtainable and resets every month. The industry was hit hard and I was having a hard time with approvals for clients during my last 2 months. Many employees have a 50% ramp goal to stay off the radar of direct management, and maybe 25% of them are obtaining that. My point here, is it’s acceptable that many team members weren’t performing either and it wasn’t willful misconduct by me that caused this.

4 consolidating expenses

It was no secret the company was tightening up payroll expense and cutting people left and right with no intention to fill their spots. My team, in my office was 10/27 total. When I was terminated, we were at 6. And they are at 5, and as a whole team of 27, they are at 19.

5 Supervisor participation during the hearing.

My direct manager announced he is resigning 2 days before I was termed, and he would be finishing out the week before he departs. I was termed before his last day by the director of my department. Not my supervisor. My supervisor will not be available to be on the hearing call. If it’s anybody else representing the company, I feel like it can be dismissed as hearsay. Furthermore, my director told me many things that weren’t included on the termination papers. He directed my manager to write up the term paper, as if he was the one that termed me. I feel like this supports my side even more.

For some background my mother and I have never gotten along from her giving me up as a baby to now we’ve never seen eye to eye on most things. She has 3 kids my sister (18) me 17m) and my brother (11), All of us have different dads and she has made some terrible choices, my sisters dad was 24 when my mom was 16, my dad has some charges with children, and my brothers dad who is a drug dealer who has done many terrible things to be exact, he stalked there house, broke into a different house and threatened my brother with a gun. She has been different relationships however after getting married to her current husband (34m) she started drinking liquor heavily and becoming very angry and irrational the first conflict arose when he tried to drive away, she kicked out his windows, he then pushed her to the ground leaving her with large bruises and minor scrapes. The second incident occurred when my brother (11) was found eavesdropping on an argument they were having while she was drunk he got mad and punched her before driving 6 hours away and not speaking to her for days, when contact was made they decided my grandma (who raised me) was the issue I decided to move in with them because of my brother within the first 6 months of living with them they got into 3 fights and abusive confrontations. My mom’s friend who had come to live with us had originally planned on buying her own house but decided to support my mom until these problems began. My mom drove drunk multiple times, attempted to kill herself got ordered to go to therapy, didn’t go and quit her job safe to say I was ready to move and so was my brother, however my grandma having raised me allowed me to move back alone because she only has enough room for 1 other person my mom found out and flipped shit saying I was no longer her son and to not contact her again, to which I obliged and blocked her number around 2 weeks later she called my number and said if you want a phone then you have to unblock me or im not paying(my money was sent to cover the bill for my part of the phone she did not pay for it). I said if thats how she felt to cancel my my phone plan and make it cheaper on me to get a new plan so she did and that was the last I had heard until around 3 hours ago her and her husband got into another argument, which resulted in him breaking her nose and leaving giant marks before running out of the house she refused to call the police so my 11 year old brother had to report it secretly. Upon talking to her I relayed my thoughts and told her I don’t feel bad im no longer her son and therefore have no attachment whatsoever but was worried about my brother. AITAH for not caring about my mothers abuse?

I confronted my groomer last week and I have never felt more at peace. This happened between 2017 - 2018 , I was 15 at time. I decided to join a private coaching academy to prepare for NEET (the medical entrance exam in India). I had just broken up with my first boyfriend and was studying 8 hours a day, so I was really stressed out and lonely. A professor at the coaching academy was always helpful (he offered to give me his phone number so I could text him any doubts I had).
It escalated from there,it started with him asking if I was single and asking him to stay back during his office hours so we could revise chemistry ( I was not the best at it). I did stay back once and went up to his cabin and he kissed me and told me he wanted me to be his girlfriend. I was shocked but ended up not telling my parents because I was ashamed I let it happen. We kept talking for the next 2 months, he would get me gifts, pay for my cellular data, and tell me how beautiful I was. He called me to his apartment so we could watch a movie, and he raped me. This went on every week for 6 more months, and the saddest part I dont remember anything besides the physical pain I felt. It feels like my brain just shut down.
I ended up getting an admit to a medical school, and stopped talking to him, blocked him everywhere. Fast forward to last week, I was going through some old Facebook chats and came upon his. I unblocked him, and I confronted him. He had the audacity to tell me how he has been single since the time, and how he cries to sleep thinking about how he hurt me. I corrected him and told him that he did so much more than hurt me, he groomed, raped, and abused me. And that he was piece of shit and I don’t care about what he feels.
Since that day, I have been so happy! I finally told my partner about the abuse, and he suggested we go to the police ( I still have all his emails and screenshots of the Facebook chats). I am not sure if I want to, cause I don’t want to relive the trauma and I want to move on. My parents don’t know about the abuse, so there’s that. Would appreciate any advice!

Hello all, I have server hosted minecraft servers modded and vanilla for some time now. I ran into some issues when i first started getting into it but consider myself a pro at this point in time. I recently have been unable to connect to my servers as of March of this year. We had our internet upgraded and Received a new modem and router as a result of our old router failing in November. However after getting everything set up and port forwarded I had no other issues. It worked fine till March, I just got home from college and began to trouble shoot this issue and tried to make a pixelmon reforged server for it. I have tried everything I can think of to try to fix this issue including calling my ISP (Spectrum) to see if we can resolve this. Their only thing left to do is to replace the router with a new one from them or a third party. If you have any idea on what I can do let me know.
Things I have tried to do:
First i created the server through the ATlauncher. I was able to run the server fine and connect using my private IP. I then tried using my public IP and recieved the following error "io.netty.channel.AbstractChannel$AnnotatedConnectException: Connection timed out: no further information:" first thing i did was make sure the port was open on my windows defender fire wall. Made two new rules for port 25565 on both TCP & UDP for both inbound and outbound and did the same on the computer i was using to connect to the server. Still gave the same error. Then I tried port forwarding the router. This was the first issue I ran into, when trying to port forward 25565 on my router I get an error tried this a few time before i called spectrum, according to them on the router I have that port is disabled for "security reasons" and the only way to "unblock" it is with a new router. figured id just put the server on a different port. I changed the server to 25566 and ran through the same trouble shooting as before with no luck. this time i was able to port forward 25566 but with the same io.netty error. Thinking it might be something to do with java i clean installed java with the version of SDK for that server same error. Completely disabled my windows defender, same error. Tried creating a server for 1.20.6 (latest release), walked through all the steps, YouTube video and all. but instead I receive this error when trying to connect Connection timed out: getsockopt. I talked with a friend who know more about servers than me. His response was "The maths not mathing". I called spectrum a second time and walked through every troubleshooting method they had. Included but not limited to trying it with uPNP on/off, restarting router, modem, and all devices on the network, clearing all ports and reserved IPs, disabling and re-enabling the security shield. Nothing worked the guy I was on the phone with has no clue why I cant host a server. He recommended getting a new spectrum router so my public address resets, and then if that doesn't work to purchase a 3rd party router to manage myself. I wanted to try a few things before doing that. So I sent the server files to two friends. one uses spectrum one does not, neither have any ports forwarded and have never hosted servers before. walked through the same process with both of them and the friend with spectrum could also only connect locally while the other that doesn't have spectrum we could connect to. I am lost and am convinced spectrum just sucks and won't admit that they don't let you server host anymore.
TL:DR - Tried all trouble shooting i can think of, spectrum told me to get a new router because they cant figure it out either
Any ideas or help would be much appreciated.
