What’s a good solution to deal with a stalker? I run a public book club, open to anyone. This guy who is older than my Dad and married, sometimes brought his wife, would show up and at the end of events, he’d sit down across from me, interrupt my reading, and ask me questions about my life. I travel often for work and he’d say “when I grow up, I want to be just like you.” Ick.
I accepted his friend request on Facebook in the beginning and he’d post often in our private book community. One post bordered on sexually inappropriate, and no one interacted, some reported it, so I deleted it. Here’s where things get really weird - earlier this year, I brought a copy of a classic book to read to an event. At the next meet, he publicly gives me a copy of the classic book. The people at his table (no wife there) look visibly uncomfortable.
I smile, take it, and go back to my corner at the bar. About 30 minutes later, he comes up and interrupts my reading. He tries touching his leg to mine and I scoot away. The conversation is exactly the same as last time, I’m annoyed and grossed out so I get up and say “nice seeing you” and leave. I feel frustrated that as the host I need to be polite.
Well, that’s when this creep goes into overdrive and starts liking every single post on my Facebook account including friends only. Mind you, the algorithm only shows any single person about 10-12% of all posts on any wall, so he’s definitely checking my profile at least once a day. I posted a public photo of the Aurora and he comments (which I deleted out of respect for his wife) “can I be your roadie?”
I decide to block him. Well, about a week later, he finds my business page, follows it and asks if I’m ok because my social media “seems to have disappeared.” I block him off that page. I block him from the book club page, especially when he likes and comments on a photo of 3 girls young enough to be his granddaughters. He next creates an Instagram account and messages me there. Blocked. Does the same on LinkedIn. Blocked.
My Mom is concerned and ships the book back to his home address. I would think by then this guy would get the message but nope. Last night he shows up and tries to corner me. “I don’t understand what I did wrong.” Thankfully someone has a video of the creepy encounter but I told him to get the f—k out of here before I call the police and informed him what a disgusting pig he is. He responded “this has never happened before” and “I love my wife.”
Some perspective: my Dad is a few years younger than this guy and has been married to my Mom for about the same period of time (50+ years). While I don’t keep close tabs on him, I can guarantee you that my Dad is not out and about striking up inappropriate “friendships” with women my age. I have never seen him interact online or off with any other woman who wasn’t already in my parents friend group.
Furthermore, I work with men all the time in my field. Some are married but none have ever crossed the line with gifts or fawning over me. I have platonic married guy friends too. Loads of examples of what a respectful friendship looks like. This man is 100% a creep and I’m pretty sure he’s doing this to other women.
What’s especially sad is that instead of owning up to it, he has his wife post (or he got into her account) on our book club wall that someone is impersonating him and that he is innocent. People like this who are immature at any age never take accountability for their actions.
Sadly, I now find myself carrying pepper spray and a Birdie alarm. Should I start a report with the police? Also, who is a good attorney who deals with this stuff, in case I need to file a restraining order? I’m also looking for higher ups where he volunteers at Frederik Meijer Gardens as a docent to send video clips and screenshots of his bad behavior. Thank you in advance.

I'm running Debian 12 (bookworm). I've been using this mbpfan package for years, starting it manually with sudo mbpfan, no issues. https://github.com/linux-on-mac/mbpfan/blob/masteREADME.md#debian
I've made previous attempts to get it to run at boot without luck. Now I'm trying again, and so started off by installing the most recent update:
Permissions show:

Although I can start it manually...

sudo mbpfan mbpfan 2.3.0 starting up 

I want it to run on boot. I created a systemd service file:

sudo nano /etc/systemd/system/mbpfan.service 

With the following content:

[Unit] Description=mbpfan daemon [Service] ExecStart=/ussbin/mbpfan Restart=always [Install] WantedBy=multi-user.target 

I saved the above and reloaded systemd:

sudo systemctl daemon-reload 

I enable the service:

sudo systemctl enable mbpfan.service Synchronizing state of mbpfan.service with SysV service script with /lib/systemd/systemd-sysv-install. Executing: /lib/systemd/systemd-sysv-install enable mbpfan 

I started the service:

sudo systemctl start mbpfan.service

There I note the messages about "A previously created .pid file exists at: /varun/mbpfan.pid. Aborting" in there and so...

sudo systemctl stop mbpfan.service sudo rm /varun/mbpfan.pid rm: cannot remove '/varun/mbpfan.pid': No such file or directory 

I'm guessing those are probably temp files being deleted by the system and so those error messages can probably can be ignored...?
I have ensured that both the coretemp and applesmc modules are available. In fact, I edited /etc/modules:

# /etc/modules: kernel modules to load at boot time. # # This file contains the names of kernel modules that should be loaded # at boot time, one per line. Lines beginning with "#" are ignored. firewire-sbp2 coretemp applesmc 

I can still start the mbpfan service manually but am having zero luck setting it up to run at boot.
LINUX is not Nirvana for me. The solution might be staring me right in the face (like maybe is there more than one version of mbpfan on my system?). Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

I'm trying to use Docker with Nvidia GPU support for my Gazebo application.
However, even with just the base image from nvidia (nvidia/cuda:12.4.1-cudnn-devel-ubuntu22.04) in Docker-Compose I get the error:
Error response from daemon: failed to create task for container: failed to create shim task: OCI runtime create failed: /nix/store/snhrnaclff3y9jlwg7k6g1fz0wd3yqwy-nvidia-dockebin/nvidia-container-runtime did not terminate successfully: exit status 125: unknown
My docker-compose.yml testfile is very basic:

I have docker, docker-compose, nvidia-container-toolkit and runc installed.
I already tested with pkgs.docker_25 with the same result.
If I delete in the docker-compose file the line "driver: nvidia" the Container starts with the Message that no driver is found. But i can run nvidia-smi in the Container and it detects my graphic card, however does start a application only with cpu and not gpu support.
My configuration looks like:

I added docker to the user.users..extraGroups and for the beginning, I just use the root mode (don't want another pitfall, yet).
If it is important: I'm running unstable Nixos, Wayland and Hyprland.
Anyone an idea why I don't get the GPU running in the Docker-Container?
Already desperate enough to dual boot Ubuntu...

Speculation: Roaring Kitty was the twitter handle and Youtube profile for Keith Gill where he would speculate on the stock because he just loved doing it. DFV was the reddit handle where he is associated to that other sub i can't mention here but you know where i mean. I think that DFV is saying that what started as a fun speculation of the stock became something bigger than himself with his other channel in DFV on reddit. Now the wheels have moved and in the film it ends with the financial institutions being blown up, perhaps something similar metaphorically is already in place right now. He talks about pressure and time, he presents a lot of memes he has created over the years and then shows a particular screenshot of one of his streams.
Speculation: This tells DFVs story but also has some juicy parts. I think Red in this is a bit like the reddit crew (us) keeping tabs on his story but DFV is saying to escape like him it takes pressure and time (could be gamma squeeze, could be LEAPS, could be DRS, could be holding and buying, could be ALL of it) but all it takes is time and pressure. The memes he posted i wonder if some of those have found their way into various subs over the last 3 years without any of us knowing it came from DFV. The steam he screenshot has been spoken about a lot this morning but it seems to come from one of his youtube streams when GME last broke $30.

Here is my review if useful.
Background: • I was with sky broadband for 10+ years - not a fibre line as not available in my area from Sky or any other provider. • The max Sky could give me was only 25 Mbps at a price of £37 pm after the April price rise • Knock on the door 26/03/2024 from BRSK sales rep stating that they will be installing fibre in my area. • No overhead telephone lines in my area as all lines are underground to the property • 05/04/2024 got a message that my area is now 'Live' • Signed up for BRSK on 12/04/24 - at a price of £28 pm for 500 Mbps + £3 pm for the BetterPhone Essential (+£12 one off phone line port fee) • Next day I had an engineer around to check the underground ducts weren't blocked and he was able to clear it without any issues on the day. • 17/04/2024 BRSK was fully installed by the engineer within a couple of hours and to a location I desired.
BRSK Review: • The whole installation process was done perfectly with great customer service by Phil. I was on the phone to him for an hour asking all sorts of questions as I had never heard of BRSK before and he was able to answer some technical questions. • Everything was up and running within a week from initial contact to installation - which was great as I had a week or so left to cancel my Sky broadband contract due to the price rise. Great speedy work for that BRSK! • Service - so far has been amazing, no issues! My devices are connected via WiFi and in the rooms near the router I'm getting 520 Mbps Download and Upload - more than the 500 I'm paying for. • Locations across the house - WiFi speed and strength does cut in half - as to be expected with WiFi - but better than what it was like with the Sky router. So no need for an extender like I needed with Sky. • No downtime so far - constant connection. • Gaming - using my Xbox Series X there was been no issues. Ping has been very stable at around 15-20 ms which is slightly better than I had with sky and much more stable now. No issues with Nat or any sort of jittepacket loss. Download speed of around 200 Mbps on my Xbox due to distance from router. • BetterPhone - porting landline from Sky took 12 days. I also needed to request a RJ11 to BT Adapter plug which took a few days but was provided for free when asked for. Quality - not as great as copper landline I had before but this may be down to the phone I have as 7+ years old, not sure.
Overall everything has been perfect so far with consistent speeds, no downtime and great customer service, all at a price cheaper than Sky and 20x faster. Couldn't be more happy so far! So with that being said I would highly recommend BRSK and what's better is no price rises during the 2 year contract!

The major role connecting these three concepts is commitment and effort. As the church ministry is the foundation pillar, the main aim is how much measure of commitment is valued and given to achieve the target successfully. Mankind is able to commit only when he chooses the right direction in fear and is able but this is unfortunate as the alien world tend to let us unidentify the type of strategies of growth for maturity. Check the box for Additional Command Line Arguments. Type: -d3d11 Relaunch the game to see how this goes Note: In order to switch back to DirectX 12 you need to delete the command/uncheck the box.

My devices are connected via WiFi and in the rooms near the router I'm getting 520 Mbps Download and Upload - more than the 500 I'm paying for. • Locations across the house - WiFi speed and strength does cut in half - as to be expected with WiFi - but better than what it was like with the Sky router. So no need for an extender like I needed with Sky. • No downtime so far - constant connection. • Gaming - using my Xbox Series X there was been no issues. Ping has been very stable at around 15-20 ms which is slightly better than I had with sky and much more stable now. No issues with Nat or any sort of jittepacket loss. Download speed of around 200 Mbps on my Xbox due to distance from router. • BetterPhone - porting landline from Sky took 12 days. I also needed to request a RJ11 to BT Adapter plug which took a few days but was provided for free when asked for. Quality - not as great as copper landline I had before but this may be down to the phone I have as 7+ years old, not sure.
Overall everything has been perfect so far with consistent speeds, no downtime and great customer service, all at a price cheaper than Sky and 20x faster. Couldn't be more happy so far! So with that being said I would highly recommend BRSK and what's better is no price rises during the 2 year contract!

I'm facing a problem when trying to search for any movie on Radarr. Every time I perform a search, I get the following error message: "Search for '' failed. Invalid response received from RadarrAPI."

1. Open Radarr.
2. Go to the search field.

Additional Information
I have checked the Pi-hole DNS resolver, and all requests are fine. I also changed the DNS on the host machine to 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8, but the problem persists. Accessing the API directly via the browser (https://image.tmdb.org/) returns a "Bad request" error, indicating that the request might be incorrect or that the connection to the HTTPS server is being closed.

I mainly want to figure out where went wrong as I’m super confused and hurt at the moment I don’t even know how to process my emotion. I will try to be as factual as I possibly can.
This is going to be a long post, so apologize in advance.
So my girlfriend (F24) and I (M28) has known each other for 12 years and dated as long distance online couple for half of the time and have broken up twice. 2 Years ago we communicated again and decided to give this another try. We had a very good game plan and she moved all the way to my country to stay with me June of last year. We had a quite good and lovely time as I thought, and I tried to provide all the necessary support I could think of.
Little over two months ago, I had an opportunity to move to an very rural small town 5 hour away from home to become an apprentice in a very competitive field. I value this opportunity but was very reluctant to accept based on how far away it is. My girlfriend is the one encouraged me and saying it will be a great opportunity for improvement, and I thought that is very true, it will give us great future together, so I accepted the job.

Few weeks ago, I got noticed that she meets a new friend at some sort of gathering, because there is only 2 other young people there, their become friends and she asked me if it’s okay to pick up this new male friend for shopping. Of cuz I didn’t think of anything and thought she is just providing me with closure, and I said yes.
Everything changed on the Thursday night, Generally speaking we withhold out video chat to until she is finished with her study and homework because I know how difficult a student trying to rush DUE feel like. She finished all her work on Wednesday so I thought Thursday would be our chance to catch up, so I was very excited. Turns out she had other plans without telling me. She went groceries shopping with the guy, (this is when I know their had plan to do weekly groceries trips as she have a car and the guy didn’t). Followed by staying over at the guys house until 9PM, (I finish work at 5PM, but I work early so I have to get to bed at 10PM), We had an extremely quick video chat followed by her wanting to end the chat due to forgot to buy toothpaste, this got me very disappointed so I pushed and asked you know I been waiting for a video chat for a week, and yet you prioritized him over me and weekly groceries shopping is not something you do with a guy friend, but rather someone really close. She just said, “well, is already planned.“
This entire conversation and event of what happened without me knowing got me really upset, especially I been asking before hand for the Video chat after she finish her DUE.
She than replied back to me saying she believe everyone is an individual, than is couple and family, she deems individual growth, friendship over the need of the couple. Therefore I should not butt in with what she is doing and chill. My upset and insecurity is none of her concern.
Literally the next day on the Friday after we had out fight, she went over to the guy’s house again while I was out doing Friday night shopping as I have Overtime lined up for Saturday and won’t have anytime to do shopping in my small town. While I was shopping she didn’t reply back to any of my text message, so I had a look on the iphone find my app and noticed she is at the guy’s house so I facetimed her and asking where is she and why is she not answering my calls. She picked up after a few tries and shown me a dark backyard as it was last at night. She said she just dropped off a friend (Not telling me who) and is heading home soon. She than hanged up on me, I just texted, when she gets home give me a call, I will be driving but can pick up the phone.
Not only did she not call me afterwards, she stayed at the guys place until 9PM again. With me fuming and angry thinking how could she do this. Meanwhile our dog is going berserk in the security camera as no one is home, because our dog always get jumpy after dark and we always try to have someone at home normally. I texted her during the silent saying the dog is going off really badly, can you go check on them. Not until 9PM when she left the guys house she texted me saying,” I’m so tired, the dog always bark like that after dark.” I’m so angry at this point I cant think straight so I choose silents.
At this point I know something is off, something is definitely not good, so on Saturday afternoon after I got off work we talked. She said she is so tired of compensating for me. I make her feel so tried, insecurity is my issue not hers. She won’t care if I go out with another girl and go over to her house for visit.

This got me extremely upset and ended it on a bad note. On Monday, While I was at work, she went over to the guys house again, (I noticed during my lunch break her car was parked at the guys house again) So I called her saying what is she doing, we are currently fighting due to the guy and you still want to go over there. She replied with I didn’t go, I was only dropping those two to school today and I didn’t go. Followed by leaving the house at 4PM and did not return until 9PM, at this point she took me off all location tracking app. (The location tracking was for both of us, we had the agreement to turn it on as I was in such long distance and sometime driving hours to go home I can’t pick up the phone, so we can track each other when we become unreachable).
When she turned at night, we had our last phone call, she decides to break up with me. I got Tuesday and Wednesday off to confront her why. We talked and she emitted that she has been talking non-stop with the guy about how much of a bad boyfriend I am, How dare I confront her for her personal friendship choice. How everything I have done in the past is just what a guy friend would do, nothing special and won’t make me a good boyfriend. I knew there must be more to what she has emitted by at this point im too tired and hurt to push on. So I agreed to the break up.
I really want to ask you guys, what have I done wrong. How can the relationship end simply within 5 days.

1 Month Comprehensive Review - £75 amazon code - EBCA

Here is my review if useful.
Background: • I was with sky broadband for 10+ years - not a fibre line as not available in my area from Sky or any other provider. • The max Sky could give me was only 25 Mbps at a price of £37 pm after the April price rise • Knock on the door 26/03/2024 from BRSK sales rep stating that they will be installing fibre in my area. • No overhead telephone lines in my area as all lines are underground to the property • 05/04/2024 got a message that my area is now 'Live' • Signed up for BRSK on 12/04/24 - at a price of £28 pm for 500 Mbps + £3 pm for the BetterPhone Essential (+£12 one off phone line port fee) • Next day I had an engineer around to check the underground ducts weren't blocked and he was able to clear it without any issues on the day. • 17/04/2024 BRSK was fully installed by the engineer within a couple of hours and to a location I desired.
BRSK Review: • The whole installation process was done perfectly with great customer service by Phil. I was on the phone to him for an hour asking all sorts of questions as I had never heard of BRSK before and he was able to answer some technical questions. • Everything was up and running within a week from initial contact to installation - which was great as I had a week or so left to cancel my Sky broadband contract due to the price rise. Great speedy work for that BRSK! • Service - so far has been amazing, no issues! My devices are connected via WiFi and in the rooms near the router I'm getting 520 Mbps Download and Upload - more than the 500 I'm paying for. • Locations across the house - WiFi speed and strength does cut in half - as to be expected with WiFi - but better than what it was like with the Sky router. So no need for an extender like I needed with Sky. • No downtime so far - constant connection. • Gaming - using my Xbox Series X there was been no issues. Ping has been very stable at around 15-20 ms which is slightly better than I had with sky and much more stable now. No issues with Nat or any sort of jittepacket loss. Download speed of around 200 Mbps on my Xbox due to distance from router. • BetterPhone - porting landline from Sky took 12 days. I also needed to request a RJ11 to BT Adapter plug which took a few days but was provided for free when asked for. Quality - not as great as copper landline I had before but this may be down to the phone I have as 7+ years old, not sure.
Overall everything has been perfect so far with consistent speeds, no downtime and great customer service, all at a price cheaper than Sky and 20x faster. Couldn't be more happy so far! So with that being said I would highly recommend BRSK and what's better is no price rises during the 2 year contract!

I know its late guyzz but I needed to finish the series and give u my review. Don't hate me for being this late .

 Main leads : 5/10 no hate to them but sometimes I felt like their acting is acting. Sometimes they acted really well but sometimes it just didn't work for me . Maybe because of the directions or something it felt little off Second leads : 8/10 i like especially pwarang . She is my fav in this gl ... how she made angry faces, cute faces , when she was angry on the main lead everything was top notch. I liked her , I want to see her in another gl with the main lead soon . Don't know how many years I need to wait. But yaa her character was matured, understanding, introvert, tall , handsome everything. And the little junior was also cute . Whenever I saw them in the screen I felt like " yes now some pleasure moment for me " ... Whenever warang came to the screen she gave some mature lines which is nice then the main leads who had lack of communication skills. Supportive leads: 6/10 the glasses one who was the friend I liked her as well . Other than her everyone needs to improve their skills . Male actors were pretty nice but still Storytelling: 5/10 wtf !!! Pretty lame ... it's no doubt a good story but too stressful sometimes. How everyone is so into male leads . Everyone wants them to become their gfs ... just too much ... they didn't let me forget the series. " SHOW ME LOVE " how they messed with those characters, Storytelling etc ... they know how to ruin a good show ... it felt like a normal yt show made by normal people... bruhh it's a big show make it I catching and tempting ... but naahh the directors were sleeping maybe Theme : 4/10 ... My question is where are the teachers!??? It's based on university or school maybe ... so where's the teachers? There was not a single teacher in the university dudee ... and the seniors acted like teachers, done everything by themselves etc . No classes at all . And also rarely saw their parents. Even when warang got a accident as well . Also how the main lead forgot all her memory after accident, then the male proposed her , he acted like a boyfriend all were too much for me . Cinemagraphy : 3/10 ... they need to learn from BLANK or maybe from SECRET OF US (trailer was pretty eye catchy) both series has had impressive angles , cinemagraphy and fabulous actress. Atleast BLANK . The show felt like a cheap yt video by normal makers Second leads time: 2/10 ... I am asking where is my fav couples time !? They are Second leads u should respect them as well and give them more time . I rarely see them together! 

!? Maybe they had like 23min in the whole series . The story only revolves around the main lead being dumb , crying...
And why literally why everyone were into main leads !!? It doesn't make sense at all . And why I felt like their relationship was kinda toxic !!!

Conclusion: I don't hate any gl series or gl related stuffs so I don't hate it either. It's just I don't like it . Plzz tell me 23.5 is better then this because I have high hope for the series and will watch it after it finishes its 12 parts . I want second leads to have thier own series . Plzz don't hate me for giving little numbers . 🥹
