Hi everyone
I am having a big issue with Natwest at the moment for our mortgage application.
We are being chased by the estate agent as it’s just not moving.
We applied for our mortgage with Natwest on 1st May. Our personal documents were approved within 3 days.
It’s now stuck on the valuation section. On the tracker it says “a valuation has been instructed and we are now awaiting your survey report”.
It says there is an outstanding action for us (the one I’ve quoted above) and they have text me twice also to say there is an outstanding action.
However, there is nowhere on the tracker for us to upload anything etc.
I have also spoke to them on the phone three times now and they’ve assured us there are no outstanding actions for us and it’s held up on their side. They won’t give any further info they just say this and that they’ll get in touch with us.
I’m scared the sellers are going to pull out because it’s taking so long- we can’t move on and book our level 2 survey etc until we hear back from them.

Hello WalkScapers! We have a lot to cover this time, so let's walk jump right into it!

Wave 2.5

Wave 2.5 will be open between June 1st and June 15th. All supporters before June 15th 12:00:00 UTC will gain access to the game starting June 1st, or whenever you support during this time period. As usual, link your Patreon or Buy Me a Coffee (BMaC) to the WalkScape Portal. We are also planning to rework our integration with these platforms before Wave 2.5 starts. In the past, players had to wait up to 2 hours for their support to be recognized and beta access given, but we are hoping to provide a better experience by improving how this works. We will communicate when this goes live and would appreciate any reports on the new system.

Why not Wave 3?

We plan to stick to our original plan regarding the features we want to include in Wave 3. However, it seems this is taking more time than originally anticipated due to the prolonged struggle with fixing the Android pedometer.
I feel uncomfortable about delaying access for those who've supported our development efforts after Wave 2 until the completion of Wave 3. It doesn't seem fair, so we'll compromise by introducing "Wave 2.5", where only supporters will gain access in a shorter time frame than our usual waves.
Once again, my personal thanks go out to everyone who has been supporting us. We may have more of these "intermittent" waves when necessary. Thank you, and I hope you'll enjoy the game starting on June 1st ❤️

New website and roadmap

Brand new WalkScape website!
Our new developer, Myzozoz, has been hard at work, and our redesigned WalkScape website has been released with just a few things to improve further.
Check it out!
The new website has a new look that is now similar to how the game looks and feels. Also, it has some awesome new features:
  • You can see when the next wave is coming right at the top.
  • You can see the newest development posts from Portal.
  • You can see live updating stats about the game. I am personally super hyped about this, and the stats currently include a few fun things from the game plus daily updating steps gained by all of our players in a monthly chart.
  • A press kit, trailer video, and more.
And most importantly: NEW ROADMAP (if it isn’t yet available, Myzozoz is still working on it but it will be released today).
In the roadmap, we're including what’s happened in the past, and also giving updated info on what’s happening next. We’ll try to keep this one updated as much as possible. I hope you like it!

Pedometer updates

So, we just released +242 earlier this week, and the great thing is that things are starting to look very stable once more in terms of the Android pedometer.
Just as a recap of why we went through a lot of hoops to improve it:
  • The original pedometer for Android in the 1st Wave lost your step count when your phone updated/rebooted. This was not ideal, so I needed to come up with something that could retain your step count even when the phone restarts.
  • The new pedometer retained your step count through reboots by introducing a background process for WalkScape that saves the count even while the game isn’t active. This, however, introduced a battery drain problem, especially on Pixel devices.
  • I optimized the background process as much as possible, which reduced the battery consumption back to being negligible. By optimizing it, new edge case issues were introduced that weren’t caught in our internal testing due to our limited amount of devices.
  • I started to fix these edge cases, and thanks to everyone reporting weird behavior. It’s great that we have so many devices in Closed Beta, as with your reports I managed to start tackling issues. This process was more or less whack-a-mole.
  • With +242, we’ve now reached a point where we haven’t heard any serious issues apart from a few that I’ll cover below.
First off, this was a significant challenge from a development standpoint. Google's documentation on achieving this functionality without relying on their services (Google Fit or Health Connect) is… unclear. The fact that each manufacturer and Android version has different permissions and limitations with background processes made the development even more complex.
If you're still experiencing issues with the pedometer not counting steps while in the background, these issues seem to almost universally relate to the permissions you've granted to WalkScape. Currently, I don’t have the time to make the game smart enough to prompt you to enable certain settings depending on your manufacturer and Android version, as that would require a significant amount of work.
Common troubleshooting steps for background step counting, depending on your manufacturer and Android version, are (some of these may not be available/listed depending on your phone):
  • Enable Autostart permission for WalkScape.
  • Grant permission for WalkScape to run in the background.
  • Turn off disabling permissions from WalkScape when it's in the background.
  • In your system settings, try placing WalkScape in "Background usage limits" into "never auto sleeping apps".
  • Try enabling notifications. You can disable the mandatory sticky notification from WalkScape in notification channels, it's listed there as "WalkScape sticky notification (disable this)". All other notifications from WalkScape are opt-in and customizable through in-game settings, this one comes from Android.
  • Try enabling "Unrestricted Battery Optimization" in app settings.
If you've encountered an issue that required special settings to get the background steps working, it would greatly assist me if you could provide information about your device, Android version, and the settings that resolved the issue. This will help ensure that new players are notified of these permissions, eliminating the need for troubleshooting.

Syrenthia progress

A new bank is coming to the game!
Now that the pedometer is mostly stable again, I've been able to resume where I left off, and we've made some progress.
In the past couple of weeks, I've been adding buffs and abilities to the game. They aren't fully complete yet, but the remaining tasks are mostly UI work.
New icons to display item keywords in the game!
Buffs & Consumables
Buffs are primarily temporary attributes that come from consumables. They can occasionally be gained from other sources too.
Your character can have one active food and one active potion being consumed at the same time (potions will be introduced later with Alchemy). This restriction is necessary to maintain balance.
When you're engaged in an activity and you have consumables in your inventory, you'll be able to select one to be consumed from your inventory while performing the activity. If your activity stops, the items that weren't consumed will not be wasted and will remain in your inventory for later use.
The UI for all of this is still being designed and developed, but I'll share it when it's presentable. We're trying to find the best possible compromise where the UI will be easy to understand and quick to use, while also minimizing the chance of accidentally consuming items. This is why selecting items for use during an activity would be best, as it ensures that the player intentionally wants to consume their items.
Abilities
This hasn't been covered in any previous dev blog!
Abilities are what we call actions you can perform in the game that have some sort of cooldown. The Syrenthia update will include some items utilizing this, mainly this very interesting item here:
What do you think it does?
Some items, and possibly other things later on, can offer you abilities to use instead of or in addition to their typical attributes. When you have an item with an ability, these and their cooldowns will be displayed in a new view in the game. You can also use these abilities from that view, triggering their effect and starting the cooldown.
Cooldowns can be based on real-world time, steps, and actions. For example, using an ability might have a cooldown of 10,000 steps until you can trigger it again.
Items containing abilities will be very rare and unique, and we want to keep them so that they don't add too much unnecessary complexity. If they have time-based cooldowns, they won't make you open the game every hour to min-max stuff.
Both buffs and abilities will be going live with Syrenthia, and I'll share more screenshots of them as the UI gets finalized. Feedback on these is always very welcome!

Floursifter did some data crunching, and also provided a lot of statistics from your progress so far!

Some background on why I think I have ADHD
My whole childhood I have been struggling with focus. I remember in kindergarten that I never did my homework and my teacher forced me to do it on the spot and I was crying because it was quite painful for my brain to focus. During primary, school I never did my homework and I would always get canned as I was in a vernacular school which is more strict.
I could only do homework if someone sat with me and did it with me together, otherwise I wouldn’t be able to focus. My mom avoided going to my school report card day and sent my dad instead because she was so embarrassed on all the complaints of me being a difficult student. Despite this I got straight As because I was smart and my tuition teacher would really do a lot of one on one work with me. Secondary school was the same but grades got worst. Fast forward I only survived uni because because I studied media and 97 percent of my grades were project based but on my final sem I failed my research and had to retake it for another sem because I was struggling with the writing. No one knows that I always struggle with my teachers a lot, sending things late making excuses and always last minute work.
Personally my emotions are everywhere and I cry a lot and people say I’m sensitive so I don’t express myself. I literally just start bawling if someone asks me something personal even if it isn’t something sad as long as it’s something personal for me. I walk alot constantly, it’s the only thing that calms me and I listen to alot of music with earphones on. Noises in general distract me and I’m very sound sensitive when I’m doing my work.
Work has been really hard and I can’t focus and keep getting distracted as I have so many things on my to do list and if someone interrupts me I’m doomed as I forget abt it and suddenly remember the next day. Or few days later due to having many tasks. I’m only able to deliver my work as it has many deadlines so I really feel the pressure and have to deliver otherwise I cant (like my personal goals are non existent due to this)
This was hard for me all my life but last November I started having negative thoughts. The word “rape” popped into my mind and it just didn’t go away. It was tormenting me for months even until now day and night and every where I go… So in February I decided to get diagnosed for ADHD or whatever I have because I really couldn’t take it anymore.
They gave me an appointment which was today at HKL and I cried a lot during my appointment. I didn’t mention the “rape” word torment to my doctor as I was not ready as she’s a stranger to me and also I was just crying a lot while answering all her questions. But I told her all my above symptoms but she kept asking abt my self esteem and etc.
Towards the end she told me I have some childhood trauma and I don’t have adhd and that there’s no mental disorder which I guess is good idk. She said to diagnose ADHD I need to bring a parent or a teachers report from my old school. She was quite reluctant actually to proceed further and kept asking me what to do. I was hopeless as I came to her for help but she was asking me. I felt quite dismissed by her as she seemed like I was wasting her time but I told her I was open to coming for another talk therapy session as I feel that I’m doing this for myself.
I don’t really know what to do because when I tried to tell my mom last year and was sobbing, she said I don’t have it and she dismissed me, she went on to talk abt her childhood instead. I’m not sure if my old school would have had a report on this. I’m not sure if any of you faced this but I don’t know where to go or what to do. My life seems to be circling and always ending up at the same point. With people dismissing me at every corner.
Any advice would be helpful as I’m going through this alone and I’m really trying not to give up on myself.

Are you looking between Northwest Registered Agent and ZenBusiness for your LLC formation?
I’ve recently had a go, and wading through the websites trying to compare is a bit of a pain.
And then most of the online reviews are so bias one way or the other, so it’s hard to get a really good impression.
So, I’ve basically written up the research that I did, and hopefully this will help you too…

The LLC Package: What do you get?

Both services have a basic package, so what else do you get besides the actual Articles of Organization filing with the state? (Which in both cases is an added expense on top of the formation service).

My Opinion on the LLC Packages

Northwest Registered Agent keeps it refreshingly simple. No fussing over different packages here. Just one flat price, plus state fees, and you're good to go.
You won't find any add-ons that increase the cost without you knowing why either.
They're flexible too. Pay monthly instead of all at once? Yep, they're cool with that. Plus, they throw in an EIN number for your business for free if you opt for monthly payments.
Oh, and you still get all the other goodies like an Operating Agreement and a year of Registered Agent service.
Now, onto ZenBusiness. They've got the Starter, the Pro, and the Premium packages.
The Starter is clearly fantastic at $0 (plus state fee), but watch out for the annual compliance service that could sneak up on you with the $119 a year price tag.
They also add in their Registered Agent service, which renews at $199 annually.
The Pro package? Well, it's got a few extras and expedited filing, but $199 might be a stretch. And as for the Premium, unless web hosting is your jam, the extra $100 just doesn't seem worth it.
Northwest Registered Agent won it on this front. It's transparent one off payment means you know what you're in for. I just prefer the clarity.

Turnaround Time

Northwest Registered Agent prides itself on being fast. They'll process your order within just a few days
One of its offices may even ring/email to dot the i's and cross the t's, but that's just to make sure everything's tip-top.
And if you're in a real hurry, expedited filing options are available.
Now, onto ZenBusiness. They're no slouches either, boasting a 2-day turnaround time to get your docs to the state.
And if you're paying more for the Pro or Premium packages, they'll fast-track your paperwork straight to the state.
In all honest, from the online reviews and the services they both offer, it is pretty much a draw on this one.

Customer Service

Next up, customer service.
Okay, this is where I am going to be biased, because (spoiler alert) Northwest is the service I eventually opted for.
I have to say, the support really was fantastic.
Their reps were spot on with the information I needed, (I have a tendency to double check everything in order to make sure it's done correctly), providing extra details and advice beyond what I was requesting.
I basically can't rate them higher in this regard.
That being said, ZenBusiness holds its own in the customer service arena, with reliable support via phone or online chat.
I checked a lot of the reviews in my research as the availability of customer service is really important to me, and generally the feedback is high.
(From what I can see, however, they generally stick to the script and don't venture into the realm of offering extra guidance - I get the feeling Northwest are just more "bespoke" in this way).
Because it comes down to a very positive personal experience; Northwest Registered Agent wins this one.

Optional (or Free) Extras

Northwest Registered Agent throws in some great bonuses that may sway your decision toward them.
They offer a free trial with a VoIP phone service, meaning you can ditch the extra phone bills and keep your business connected.
They also provide some bonuses for those starting an e-commerce business, (these change so i won't list them here).
The phone service is only $9 a month after the trial should you opt for it.
Now, onto ZenBusiness. The Google Ads credit is a nice touch. But that's on the higher priced packages.
There is also the business documents service or virtual office offerings; but these didn't interest me. And "accounting consultation"... these extras all seemed part of the ZenBusiness upselling strategy if you ask me.
The winner here is Northwest Registered Agent. They provide some useful extras, all available for you to test out without reaching into your pocket.

Registered Agent Services

Northwest Registered Agent provides a great deal at $125 per year.
They strategically position their offices to save you cash on pesky publication requirements and state fees.
Plus, they have some excellent privacy protection, (they make a really big deal of it in terms of their USP).
Use their address on state filings to keep your personal information private and at no extra charge. This will limit spam mail while increasing peace of mind.
Personally, I loved this addition to the LLC package and after my research was a big reason I opted for them.
ZenBusiness fails a bit here with the $199 per year price tag for their Registered Agent service.
There is a "Complete Coverage," service where they'll handle your LLC's Annual Report filing too, so this might be beneficial to some people.
This Worry-Free Compliance comes with the Pro or Premium LLC package.
Additionally, both Northwest and ZenBusiness offer the same service when it comes to mail handling.
They will both scan and upload legal mail to your dashboard for easy access.
The clear winner here for me is Northwest Registered.
With the budget friendly registered agent service and office placement for lower priced fees, you can't really go wrong.

Website and User Experience

Last but not least, website and user experience.
Northwest's website is calm, focused, and devoid of unnecessary distractions. There is no hard sell going on here, which I liked.
Their user dashboard is really clear too. Its intuitive to use and keeps you informed throughout. A big thumbs up for this.
ZenBusiness, also nails it when it comes to user experience.
Their website is probably even more polished than Northwests, and it guides you through the process well.
But watch out for those upsells; it is clear the site is designed to make the sale.
From what I have seen of the user dashboard, ZenBusiness have a really good product too.
And the winner? Here it seems to be a tie! Both companies boast stellar website design and user experience, making things easy for the customer.

Final Words

If you've been keeping count, Northwest Registered Agent comes out on top in the research that I did.
Overall, they're experts in their field, focusing on LLC formation and registered agent services without bombarding you with confusing options.
The LLC formation process was nice and easy, and that extra bonus of increased privacy feels vital.
That being said, ZenBusiness is clearly still a popular choice.
Their customer service is great, and they offer everything you need to start your LLC.
My advice is just to be wary of those few upsells.
Subscription services starting out free but morphing into high annual costs is something you will want to avoid.

These are the important plans and intentions of the Dutch coalition agreement
"Hope, guts and pride" is the name of the coalition agreement of PVV, VVD, NSC and BBB. In 26 pages they spell out what they plan to do. "Whether it's about security of existence, healthcare or money in the wallet, or the availability of sufficient housing, our ambition is great," the four write in the introduction to what they themselves call an outline agreement. "We also want to reverse the far too high influx of asylum seekers and immigrants. We want farmers, gardeners and fishermen to have a future again." The new coalition has broken down the intended policies, many of which still have to be worked out by the future cabinet, into 10 chapters. Below are the main points for each chapter:

Subsistence security and purchasing power

The four parties have agreed that the deductible in health care will be more than halved. This will only happen in 2027, because earlier would not be possible. Now there is still a mandatory deductible of 385 euros per year. That would then become 165 euros per year. Furthermore, the coalition wants a reduction in the burden on labor "for example by introducing an extra bracket in the Income Tax." And the four want to encourage job security, improve debt relief and make child care almost free for parents.

Grip on asylum and migration

As announced, the coalition is heading for the strictest asylum package ever. Thus there will be a temporary Asylum Crisis Act with crisis measures. In the event of a "crisis," far-reaching measures can be taken. The indefinite asylum permit will be abolished and the temporary residence permit will be modified. Asylum seekers who have been rejected will be "deported as much as possible, including by force." Also, asylum seekers with residency permits will no longer be given priority in the allocation of social housing. Automatic family reunification will also be scrapped, and the number of people allowed to chain migrate will be "severely restricted." The agreement also states that the dispersal law is to be undone (much to the chagrin of the law's creator). The new coalition wants to repeal the law, which has already been passed by both the House and Senate. Furthermore, the coalition wants to seek permission from the European Commission not to participate in European asylum and migration policy, and wants more border control and the introduction of the dual status system. Asylum is not the only form of migration the coalition wants to combat. There will be additional requirements for migrant workers from outside the EU, and "malicious temporary employment structures" will be cracked down on. Study migration will be curbed, including by offering more courses in Dutch, a cap on foreign students and an increase in tuition fees for non-EU students. As for civic integration, the four want knowledge of the Holocaust to become mandatory and language requirements to be raised. Under the same heading is regulation of amplified prayer calls [of mosques].

(Public) housing, infrastructure, public transportation and aviation

Structurally, 100,000 new homes must be added each year. One way to do this is to make more land available for building. "'Adding streets, inside and outside of cities." the agreement states. Procedures to build must also be accelerated.
For people who already inhabit a home, the coalition wants to curb rent increases (in social housing). Of new construction, at least 30 percent on average must be for social rent. For homeowners, the increase in property taxes will be capped. And also important for this group: "there will be no tampering with the mortgage interest tax deduction." In terms of infrastructure, 130 kilometers per hour may be driven "whereever possible" again, including during the day. Furthermore, the accessibility of rural areas must be improved "by strengthening bus transport between village centers in the countryside" and the construction of the Lelylijn, a train connection between Lelystad and Groningen, will continue.

Agriculture and fisheries, food security, and nature

Regarding agriculture, the BBB's spearhead, the coalition wants to "pull out all the stops" to adapt European directives. Efforts are being made to adapt the Nitrates Directive and "recalibrate" Natura 2000 areas. "Aimed at a main structure of robust nature areas instead of 'snippet nature'." The agreement also states that the Netherlands should no longer pursue a more ambitious nature policy than the rest of Europe. The coalition does not want a forced reduction of livestock. Nor should there be any forced expropriation. However, there should be generous voluntary buyouts and plenty of effort should be put into innovation in agriculture. Striking: the cheaper "red diesel" is coming back for farmers, horticulturists and contract workers. Despite the fact that in 2013, that low excise tax rate for diesel was actually scrapped.

Energy, security of supply and climate adaptation

In terms of climate policy, the coalition wants to stick to existing goals, the agreement states. "Only if we fail to meet the targets will we make alternative policies," it says. The climate fund also remains intact. From that billion dollar fund, established by the current cabinet, climate measures are financed. The fund also provides money for the development of nuclear energy. The new coalition is heading for four large new nuclear power plants, and not two, as previously thought. The parties want to focus on more energy independence and own sustainable energy production. Furthermore, the heat pump will not be made mandatory after all. The current cabinet had thought of that, but it has been scrapped. Subsidies for electric cars to be scrapped by 2025.

Public facilities, healthcare and education

The four parties want to strengthen primary care, including general practitioner, district nursing and informal care. Furthermore, working in care (where there is a large staff shortage) must become more attractive. This should be done "by means of more autonomy, career prospects, good working conditions and limitation of regulatory and administrative burdens." There should also be better care for the elderly. In terms of education, teaching methods used should be "proven effective and otherwise politically neutral" and 'Englishification' should be reduced. On medical ethics, everything remains as it is. "The legal frameworks remain unchanged" around embryos, abortion and euthanasia.

Good governance and strong rule of law

The coalition is sorting out a new electoral system for the House of Representatives. Exactly what that should look like remains to be determined. In any case, it should strengthen "the regional link between voters and elected officials." The intention is to have the system in place by the next elections. Furthermore, steps must be taken for a constitutional revision so that laws can be tested against the Constitution. And by extension, steps should also be taken for the formation of a constitutional court to conduct constitutional review (a fervent wish of NSC leader Pieter Omtzigt). There will also be "a right to err". "A single mistake can no longer push a citizen deep into trouble," the new coalition believes. Dunning and collection costs of the government will be sharply reduced. Also, the number of civil servants and consultants in the government is to be cut, and a cut of one hundred million euros has been booked for public broadcasting. Hotel stays will become more expensive because the VAT rate will return to 21 percent. VAT on cultural goods and services will also go up, but not for cinemas and day recreation.

Domestic security

In the area of security in the Netherlands, the four want to strengthen the approach to organized crime. And controversially, there is to be an examination of "when relocation of the embassy to Jerusalem can take place at an appropriate time." Most countries have their embassies in Tel Aviv because of Jerusalem's complex status.

Public finances, economy and business climate

The business climate must be improved, the new coalition believes. And so recent tax increases for entrepreneurs will be partially reversed. This includes an increase in the energy tax. The forming parties have agreed to eventually save 14.7 billion euros per year. The same amount of additional spending (tax relief and investments) will be spent in return. Additional Thoughts: Essentially an AU where King Viserys chooses to marry Laena Velaryon but only has daughters thus making the Dance is between Rhaenyra and Daemon. More so based off the show but contains book elements. This is generally written to be unbiased to both sides (POV format), but I'm generally pro-Green, so please make of that what you will. Also this is still in the very early stages.
Also if I got Daemon's character please let me know and I'll correct it! I don't necessarily understand his character so if anyone has any tips I'd be grateful.

Today was economics exam. My centre was around 38 km away but was a pretty good centre with cooperative people and teachers.
Paper was like some questions from the deep corners of NCERT and some lame ass questions to make sure cutoff won't fall too low. Whatever it was, it was unexpected. Like a normal approach of a examinar should be to just test the understanding of students and his grasp of the basics for further studies. This paper was like examiner was a history teacher who opened economics book to form a paper and he just picked some random lines and framed the questions like AI even worse than that.
There were 10 questions of 2 case based studies. The lamest thing I have ever witnessed in my life. It was not at all a passage for an economics exam but a dam comprehension of 6th grade. Even a science student can score 50 marks in them I'm dam sure.
Overall, conclusion is that paper was not made from the perspective to test abilities of a student, it was just made to get cutoffs and finish the job. Personally, I was scoring 170-190 in PYQs and mocks even I scored 200 in one of the free mocks of SPCC, but I was struggling in 25 questions in the paper. I solved 4 of them with tukka, 5 in a doubt, 10 was exempted, 6 left untouched. Was wishing for 200, now just wishing for 150+.

I know almost nothing about DW or DW+ other than Ben can't seem to make his wife wet.
Ok, so facts:
1) Adam killed 20% of ACS ad $ in order to do this 'toon. Hence one must believe his team did the math and dropping Friday ACS was worth it to make whatever the fuck this thing is and it is not a vanity project.
2) Adam must be paying these people. Some of them surely must have an opportunity cost. Hence not doing it for free. And, I assume the acting union gets involved.
3) There is some Spain tax thing going on. Which is why a lot of the credits have spanish names.
4) DW+ paid for this and thought it'd generate $.
Now questions:
1) Who owns this? DW or Adam?
2) Any idea on what the tax thing is? And, doesn't that kind of fly in the face of DW's mission?
3) In other shows on DW+, do they put them out weekly or do a big drop like netflix?
4) Isn't this a headshot to your career in Hollywood?
5) Any idea how many episodes will be in season 1?
I hate that I spend more time thinking about this than the ACS idiots collectively did.
Ok, Adam has a huge podcart (maybe?). Easily reaches enough people that he can sell out 4 shows a weekend in nowhere, IN.
'toon takes a long time to make. In other words, Adam had a bunch of warning to pimp the ever-loving fuck out of this disaster.
Adam can reach a bunch of ears, so how about this for a marketing campaign that cost him nothing...? (why am I better at their jobs than they are?):
1) When a new episode comes out each week. Have a different actor on and do some highlights of the show and maybe some bits as them each in character. You know Adam "wrote" on JKL. Late night shows have been following this format for decades. It is why the star goes on. You know it is part of their contract to do the press tour and late nights. Yes, I know he kind of has people from the show on, but he could do so much more with it. This isn't a new idea. It is literally why the late night shows exist. Adam worked on JKL and talked about how he was a goto guest because JKL was too small potatoes for stars to come on and pimp their movies / shows. Adam knows how this works.
2) Have Lynch ::shudder:: write some Mr. B bits every show (he already does the opening). Adam does 5 min as Mr. B each show.
3) Once a month or so, have the entire cast on (even if some need to be remote) and do a 10-minute improv with everybody in character.
4) Have everybody do ads for the show. "Hi this is Rosenne. I play whatever the fuck she plays, Watch Mr. B on DW+ each sunday" then do a bit of freestyle comedy as the character.
5) Adam is on morning radio and "good morning " to pimp his books. Why haven't I heard him on DC101? Or seen him on Good Day DC? I'm sure people will claim due to the DW connection. No chance. They need content. I've watched a tour of Josh Brolin's personal writer's hut. It was on the level of Huel and the rocks. I've watched the weather guy take a paintball to the nuts. They will go get video of HS students running the mile. Adam would be a "get" for them.
Adam has a platform and an audience. He should be pimping the FUCK out of this show. Why isn't he. No chance he thinks it sucks (it does). He really must be this stupid and lazy.

Just seeking some advice here. I recently rented a car from VWFS in Glasgow for two days and went to the highlands. Everything went well except for the fact that when I was driving, a rock hit my windshield and caused a small crack. I reported the damage to the rental company and they told me it would necessitate a full windshield replacement. As a result, my $500 deposit would also be forfeited in addition to the $150 I paid just to rent the car. Do I have any recourse here? I can understand if I was irresponsible and dented the hell out of the car, but I can’t control for debris from the road hitting my windshield. The rental company is going forward with an insurance claim.
My other concern is that I booked the rental with my Chase rental card that includes insurance. However, the rental representative told me that the while my card’s insurance would work in the US, it would not for the UK since the collision damage waiver coverage is mandatory and can’t be declined. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with a rental company and it has kind of put a damper on my trip. Am I missing any information that could help me out or do I just accept the $500 loss? I’d appreciate any insight.

My mom is in her 70's and is still considered a high functioning adult. A caseworker was recently assigned to her. He does everything by the book and I have no doubt that he takes his job seriously. I work full time and spend the rest of my time taking care of my mom once I come home. Recently, the caseworker has been advocating assisted living facility and other programs. My mom refused them and I told the case worker I respect her choices. He mentioned he could get APS involved because I have a upcoming trip next month and there is no one else to watch her while I'm away.
-The state I live in does not have filial responsibility.
-My mom is still able to make decisions on her own. As well as being able to leave the house whenever she wants.
-She doesn't require assistance on basic needs (bathing, using the toilet, changing clothes, etc).
-Siblings don't want to help care for mom.
My question is if the caseworker decides to report me to APS. What are the odds of me getting in trouble if I left for a trip for a few weeks?
