I have installed the Portrait mod and Battle Voice mod and it's also working fine. I've been playing since the begginning and I remember summer '19, after the first anni if I recall correctly, that they added a new event called: Challenge Rush.
Sometimes they did it by tags so you fought super saiyans or lineage of evil for example and sometimes they did it by colour and there were no boosted characters, only the ones that you had, any tag, any colour, any unit you wanted to use (at the begginning creating a team was so much more complicated without zenkais, LF buffs and Leader buffs but you could create random teams that could work pretty well...) and it was 5 or 6 different battles each with great difficulty and grat reward (I remember once it was like 300 cc per win and no BS clear conditions or stars). It was also fun bc you could try out new teams or fun combinations like a nameku blue spam team to clear the event or a fast dropping card team using future gohan and it didn't matter bc you didn't need to use a predetermined team.
It was a great mode until they did the same they did with Ultra Space Time Rush (Wich gave also ez 500 cc per "Gauntlet" or difficulty) made the Zenkai version that gives us no cc, prolly bc many people could clear it easily (and they dont want you to be F2P and earn good cc) after the level cap went from 3000 to 5000 but before it was a real feat to clear it.
They'll prolly won't do this to TOP bc its only giving limited cc to the people who play it well and have a good team (mostly not F2P)
When they did the Challenge Rush for DB campaign I flipped up bc if you didnt arts boost your characters they literally did negative damage and died like nothing, only able to use DB characters (only the new ones were decent) I almost wasnt able to enjoy this event.
I was not excited when I saw for the GT campaign that they were doing another Challenge Rush bc I thought: Difficult event, new units required, arts boost required, GT only (I had real good GT but if it had to be arts boosted I was Fucked), but to my surprise I was able to clear it with my GT units no diff, GT units were not compulsory, arts boosts were not required, the reward was meh, 1000cc at max and you needed to play the simple phases over and over again each day but the last one had some fun stars conditions like: use 3 GRN or use 3 BLU with all the colours, the challenge was fun and I tried to beat it with what I call CHALLENGE TEAMS, like a 99+ combo team just to see if I could keep it going, a NameKu full Blue card build, a Beast Gohan only etc. I spent a lot of energy to do those challenges only for me and It was real fun.
My surprise arrived with the next Challenge Rush because I wasn't able to play with units from that campaign (Cell Saga and later the same with Saiyan Saga), they boosted the new or some zenkai'd old ones from that saga and was somewhat difficult bc I didn't get Super Vegeta, or Ultra Gohan (I got them when the event ended, lucky me), neither Nº16 and I didnt have ssGohan sparking nor LF Perfect Cell (the one that goes boom) so I tried without using characters from that saga and suddenly and for no apparent reason their arts cards were increasing in ki cost every time I used them and the debuff didn't go away until a lont time without using any arts cards had passed and I had no visible debuffs so I checked the enemy's kit and there was nothing, they simply nerfed artificially every other characters not from the saga (I think making it really challenging and boosting the saga was enough for some people to try and summon) just so you had to summon for the new units just to beat this event (with meh rewards again and not from the challenge battle but from the easy repetitive ones), I managed to beat some of the color challenges using units from other sagas with some clever rotation and supports but anyone without as much skill and time to build their boxes as me (6 years playing) could find this shit unbearable...
they are making moneygrab events so F2P spend all their cc and maybe some money just to beat what otherwise would be a real fun event and battle to test yourself if you wanted
I suggest making a Revolution like they did for Minecraft, WarThunder and HellDivers 2 so they put in some real fun events (make them real challenges if you want but that you can clear the way you want), less bs contidions and some good rewards like they used to be, so much effort to moneygrab and nothing to keep us happy

I know that GW has kinda given up on Ynnari, with their only real support being bare heads in new kits, but in general I'm kind of put off playing them because of the need to field Yvraine to be able to include Drukhari units.
Thematically it seems weird to me that every battle and skirmish needs to include the leader of your subfaction. It would be a lot better in my opinion if there was a generic Ynnari warlord that could be used instead.
Anyway, there's no chance of Ynnari being developed anymore so I guess this is just a rant

I saw the post regarding the least efficient characters and I wanted to hear thoughts on the other end of the spectrum.
Personally, I find that a lot of the FU characters are quite comfortable auto-battling.
Topaz almost always aims at her marked target and using skill on CD isn't a bad thing.
Clara is the same way.
March 7th and Xueyi also seem to do very well in this.
I don't have Himeko (yet), but I imagine her kit works just fine in auto.

2024.05.16 06:45 firestorm_v1 I just can't make any progress! What am I doing wrong here?
I seem to be at an impasse and I just can't seem to figure out this game. I just came from finishing Fallout3 to which I had a great time. I hopped into FNV after recommendations from the Fallout community, but so far it's gone.. not well and I'm really close to just giving up.
1) The food doesn't heal and wears off in seconds. The books of various topics also expires in seconds. Sleep and stimpacks can't be the only way to heal up in the midst of a gunfight, not to mention that Stimpacks are rare! I've been looking in all the usual places, med kit boxes, random containers, dead people, etc...
2) The guns suck! All of them. Even if fixed to 100%! I have a variety of weapons and have even modded a few, but I can't seem to kill anyone or anything with any semblance of regularity even with using VATS. If I don't get that first headshot off on a crit (with or without VATS), I'm going to die. If there's more than one person I'm battling, I'm going to die. I even have the DLCs and supposedly start off with good guns but not that I can tell thanks to the amount of times I've had to reload.
3) The Karma system seems to be completely screwed up. Why am I getting bad karma for stealing from .... the powder gangers? The same a**holes that just tried to blow me up with dynamite. I don't give two sticks about how the powder gangers think of me, I thought I was supposed to destroy them after what they tried in Goodsprings?
4) I can't go ANYWHERE outside of Goodsprings without getting owned by the wildlife! Radscorpions, bloatflies, more scorpions, a couple of centaurs, cazadores, raiders, viper clan thugs, powder gangers, etc. just seem to walk all over me.
5) Everything wants level 50! I can't pick this lock without 50 lockpick. Can't hack that terminal without level 50, can't fart without being level 50, oh but I can die a lot at level 1.
6) The bad-guy-detector in the HUD (the lines that show the cardinal direction and whether or not a particular entity is hostile) is laughably narrow in some cases and extends to ridiculous lengths in others. Using the dry lakebed as an example, I saw three scorpions that didn't even register in the HUD, meanwhile the HUD will show me a neutral party that's two miles away that I don't even have line of sight to. At least with FO3, the red dots were bad guys, the green dots were good guys, and it was fairly consistent 1/4 mi radius from the player's position.
I really need some guidance. I want to get to the story but I can't even exist without something taking a chunk out of me. I've already rebuilt my character twice, do I need to do it again? Are there any guides available that are trusted that can at least get me buffed up enough to even consider going to NV?
Steam says I've played for 12 hours, there's at least two character recreations, and countless reload-from-saves due to random encounters going generally poorly. 12hrs into Fallout3 and I already had a pretty effective arsenal up and was up to at least level 8 or 9.
Preferred playstyle: Sniper, not that I can find a sniper rifle to save my life. Close quarters combat even with the caravan shotgun seems to be more miss than hit even at point blank range and CQC with the grenade launcher (see the Powdergangers jail shootouts) really just seems to be adept at killing me and me only.

I have an acoustic kit with triggers and an eDrumin box.
I've been experimenting with DIY triggers on low volume metal hihats and cymbals, with some success, but there is an issue with double or multiple hits, which seems to be a big problem with resonant metal cymbals.
I want to get on with some recording in the meantime so thought I would pick up some off the shelf electronic hihats.
I wondered if I can use the Thomann Millenium CH-13X hi-hat and controller on my standard Tama Iron Cobra hihat stand? It's not much more expensive to buy the Millenium hats with their own stand, but I would prefer to use my existing stand if possible.
(I guess I could buy the stand too as I can then use the Thomann hihat as an extra cymbal when I am using my low vol. metal hihats.)
Also wondered if there are any other recommendations for e-hihats and controllers I should be aware of. I don't want to pay for something really expensive but can afford something more expensive than the Millenium set if it will be worth it. I'm looking for a solid padded belt + suspender kit, something similar to the Smersh. At the moment, the closest thing that I can find is the Condor battle belt or the Eagle Industries padded war belt. I've tried ALICE gear before but I found the metal clips pretty uncomfortable when wearing/using the kit for airsoft/milsim stuff.
Main requirements I have for the belt is that it needs to be able to carry 8+ mags, enough food for 48 hours, and some room for extra stuff (IFAK, flashlights, grenades, etc). It would also be nice if it's able to mount a camelback/hydration pack on the back but not really mandatory. Would also really appreciate if it comes in Multicam, Multicam Tropic, M81, MARPAT, some shade of OD green, or some other green camo pattern.

Kit chuckled. “True words. You say I’m bound by a gilded chain, and that’s perhaps the sum of things. I could choose to sever it. Though I wouldn’t, because that would be treason—” he added quickly. “—and suffer the consequences of my choice. Bonds of metal and words can be broken, but blood cannot. And for that, I am sorry that this is the path that Fate has chosen for you to follow, because you are not suited for it.”
Arabella moved to the bed, her elbows on her knees. Sitting there, she looked like a small cabin boy, with her hair tucked into her hat, only the tiniest of curly wisps peeking out from beneath. She looked…Kit wasn’t sure what it was. Defeated? Her head hung as she studied her scuffed boots, silent again.
He supposed that made sense. It wasn’t defeat in the traditional sense, though she had ultimately lost in the battle between the two of them for her freedom. It was the defeat of knowing that everything you are, and everything you would ever be, would never be what you wanted. That, perhaps, was her most terrible loss. At least his own losses were tangible and could be revisited; graves, journals, letters. But what do you have to hold on to when you cannot be your own person? Just a shell of lost memories. He did pity her, but there was nothing he could do about it, though he had promised to help her when they got back to England. He just wasn’t sure how. Even Cook wanted to make sure she didn’t end up another broken cog in the royal wheel.

Right now as far as I'm aware, firefly doesn't have any stacking mechanics or a meter. Like how dhil has his sss stacks or Ruan Mei shows how many turns are left on her skill, fu xuan shows how many times she can recover hp, a meter like that.
I think what they should do is add a meter like that, called the stacks Molten Energy or something like that (the same as the Sam boss battle) and make those stacks be gained when she enters her ultimate, and then those stacks increase her damage against broken enemies. What buff exactly would be implemented to increase this damage I'm not sure of, but maybe further increasing her atk scaling based on her break effect since that's already an integral part of her kit.
Right now, the reason that many people including myself don't like the state her kit is in is because her kit feels 2/3ds complete, and HTB serves as a replacement for the missing third of her kit rather than being just a synergistic support. I believe adding some sort of stacking mechanic like above would help make her kit feel full and complete even without HTB, while still preserving the synergy between them and keeping her identity as a break effect scaler.
