Sagen er den, at jeg er blevet tilbudt at arbejde som konsulent over en kort periode, og de har adspurgt om jeg vil oprette et CVR, så de kan overføre penge den vej. Virksomheden må ikke ansætte flere, men må gerne betale for konsulenter.
Jeg har tidligere arbejdet som studentermedhjælper, hvorfor de har kontaktet mig. De fortæller, at en anden medarbejder har gjort det samme. Jeg ved dog ikke om vedkommende oprettede en PMV eller enkeltmands.
Jeg studerer og er på SU og arbejder 15 t ugentligt ved siden af.

Må jeg og giver det mening at oprette en PMV i denne situation? Der kan opstå andre situationer inden for de næste 3 år, hvor jeg kunne sælge konsulenttimer, men ikke garanteret.
Har I fået lov til at bruge alm bankkonto i jeres bank til en pmv? Jeg har Nordea, hvis det er relevant
Må jeg selv lave regnskab, eller skal der revisor på?
Er der andet, jeg skal være opmærksom på? Jeg har aldrig før tænkt, at jeg nogensinde skulle stifte "virksomhed", så jeg er helt på bar bund.

When it comes to CRO, or Conversion Rate Optimization, it would be natural to assume that conversion is all that matters. At least, we can argue that conversion rate is at the heart of most experiments. However, the ultimate goal is to raise revenue, so why does the CRO world put so much emphasis on conversion rates?
In this article, we’ll shed some light on the reason why conversion rate is important and why it’s not just conversions that should be considered.

Why is conversion rate so important?

Let’s start off with the three technical reasons why CRO places such importance on conversion rates:

Conversion is a generic term. It covers the fact that an e-commerce visitor becomes a customer by buying something, or simply the fact that this visitor went farther than just the homepage, or clicks on a product page, or adds this product to the cart. In that sense, it’s the Swiss Army Knife of CRO.
Conversion statistics are far easier than other KPI statistics, and they’re the simplest from a maths point of view. In terms of measurement, it’s pretty straightforward: success or failure. This means off-the-shelf code or simple spreadsheet formulas can compute statistics indices for decision, like the chance to win or confidence intervals about the expected gain. This is not that easy for other metrics as we will see later with Average Order Value (AOV).
Conversion analysis is also the simplest when it comes to decision-making. There’s (almost) no scenario where raising the number of conversions is a bad thing. Therefore, deciding whether or not to put a variation in production is an easy task when you know that the conversion rate will rise. The same can’t be said about the “multiple conversions” metric where, unlike the conversion rate metric that counts one conversion per visitor even if this visitor made 2 purchases, every conversion counts and so is often more complex to analyze. For example, the number of product pages seen by an e-commerce visitor is harder to interpret. A variation increasing this number could have several meanings: the catalog can be seen as more engaging or it could mean that visitors are struggling to find what they’re looking for.

Due to the aforementioned reasons, the conversion rate is the starting point of all CRO journeys. However, conversion rate on its own is not enough. It’s also important to pay attention to other factors other than conversions to optimize revenue.

Beyond conversion rate

Why is conversion rate so important?

Let’s start off with the three technical reasons why CRO places such importance on conversion rates:

Beyond conversion rate

Before we delve into a more complex analysis, we’ll take a look at some simpler metrics. This includes ones that are not directly linked to transactions such as “add to cart” or “viewed at least one product page”.
If it’s statistically assured to win, then it’s a good choice to put the variation into production, with one exception. If the variation is very costly, then you will need to dig deeper to ensure that the gains will cover the costs. This can occur, for example, if the variation holds a product recommender system that comes with its cost.
The bounce rate is also simple and straightforward in that the aim is to keep the figure down unlike the conversion rate. In this case, the only thing to be aware of is that you want to lower the bounce rate unlike the conversion rate. But the main idea is the same: if you change your homepage image and you see the bounce rate statistically drop, then it’s a good idea to put it in production.
We will now move onto a more complex metric, the transaction rate, which is directly linked to the revenue.
Let’s start with a scenario where the transaction rate goes up. You assume that you will get more transactions with the same traffic, so the only way it could be a bad thing is that you earn less in the end. This means your average cart value (AOV) has plummeted. The basic revenue formula shows it explicitly:
Total revenue = traffic \ transaction rate * AOV*
Since we consider traffic as an external factor, then the only way to have a higher total revenue is to have an increase in both transaction rate and AOV or have at least one of them increase while the other remains stable. This means we also need to check the AOV evolution, which is much more complicated.
On the surface, it looks simple: take the sum of all transactions and divide that by the number of transactions and you have the AOV. While the formula seems basic, the data isn’t. In this case, it’s not just either success or failure; it’s different values that can widely vary.
Below is a histogram of transaction values from a retail ecommerce website. The horizontal axis represents values (in €), the vertical axis is the proportion of transactions with this value. Here we can see that most values are spread between 0 and €200, with a peak at ~€50.

The right part of this curve shows a “long/fat tail”. Now let’s try to see how the difference within this kind of data is hard to spot. See the same graph below but with higher values, from €400 to €1000. You will also notice another histogram (in orange) of the same values but offset by €10.

We see that the €10 offset which corresponds to a 10-unit shift to the right is hard to distinguish. And since it corresponds to the highest values this part has a huge influence when averaging samples. Due to the shape of this transaction value distribution, any measure of the average value is somewhat blurred, which makes it very difficult to have clear statistical indices. For this reason, changes in AOV need to be very drastic or measured over a huge dataset to be statistically asserted, making it difficult to use in CRO.
Another important feature is hidden even further on the right of the horizontal axis. Here’s another zoom on the same graph, with the horizontal axis ranging from €1000 to €4500. This time only one curve is shown.

From the previous graph, we could have easily assumed that €1000 was the end, but it’s not. Even with a most common transaction value at €50, there are still some transactions above €1000, and even some over €3000. We call these extreme values.
As a result, whether these high values exist or not makes a big difference. Since these values exist but with some scarcity, they will not be evenly spread across a variation, which can artificially create difference when computing AOV. By artificially, we mean the difference comes from a small number of visitors and so doesn’t really count as “statistically significant”. Also, keep in mind that customer behavior will not be the same when buying for €50 as when making a purchase of more than €3000.
There’s not much to do about this except know it exists. One good thing though is to separate B2B and B2C visitors if you can, since B2C transaction values are statistically bigger and less frequent. Setting them apart will limit these problems.

What does this mean for AOV?

There are three important things to keep in mind when it comes to AOV:

Don’t trust the basic AOV calculation; the difference you are seeing probably does not exist, and is quite often not even in the same observed direction! It’s only displayed to give an order of magnitude to interpret changes in conversion rates but shouldn’t be used to state a difference between variations’ AOV. That’s why we use a specific test, the Mann-Whitney U test, that’s adapted for this kind of data.
You should only believe the statistical index on AOV, which is only valid to assess the direction of the difference between AOV, not its size. For example, you notice a +€5 AOV difference and the statistical index is 95%; this only means that you can be 95% sure that you will have an AOV gain, but not that it will be €5.
Since transaction data is far more wild than conversion data, it will need stronger differences or bigger datasets to reach statistical significance. But since there are always fewer transactions than visitors, reaching significance on the conversion rate doesn’t imply being significant on AOV.

This means that a decision on a variation that has a conversion rate gain can still be complex because we rarely have a clear answer about the variation effect on the AOV.
This is yet another reason to have a clear experimentation protocol including an explicit hypothesis.
For example, if the test is about showing an alternate product page layout based on the hypothesis that visitors have trouble reading the product page, then the AOV should not be impacted. Afterwards, if the conversion rate rises, we can validate the winner if the AOV has no strong statistical downward trend. However, if the changes are in the product recommender system, which might have an impact on the AOV, then one should be more strict on measuring a statistical innocuity on the AOV before calling a winner. For example, the recommender might bias visitors toward cheaper products, boosting sales numbers but not the overall revenue.

The real driving force behind CRO

We’ve seen that the conversion rate is at the base of CRO practice because of its simplicity and versatility compared to all other KPIs. Nonetheless, this simplicity must not be taken for granted. It sometimes hides more complexity that needs to be understood in order to make profitable business decisions, which is why it’s a good idea to have expert resources during your CRO journey.

Hi Folks,
I hope this is the right forum for this, but if not, please let me know!
My spouse and I are looking to buy a gaming desktop for our home theatre. We have a 4K projector that is capable of 120 HZ that we will be using for the video. We like games like Horizon Forbidden West, Cyberpunk 2077, Red Dead Redemption II, Elden Ring and Alan Wake 2. We value fabulous visuals over FPS, but ideally we would have good amounts of both.
The RTX 4070 TI Super looks to be a very solid GPU in terms of power, thermals, ray tracing, and somewhat future-proofed with 16 GB of VRAM. It's also less expensive than rigs equipped with the 4080, with only about 10-15% drop in performance. So far, so good?
The question is, what CPU do we need to power it? We don't want to have to upgrade for a few years but would like to have really good gaming performance in that time without overkill. Some good options appear to be the Ryzen 7700x, the i7-14700F and the Ryzen 7800x3d. I'd personally love the 7800x3d, but I'm not sure if the increased prices we are seeing in gaming rigs featuring the 7800 would actually lead to noticeable gaming improvements or not. The 7700x may not be as good, but we are seeing better prices with rigs featuring it. Possibly we would not notice much performance difference?
Here are three options that look good, and yes, I know we can build for less lol, but we like the idea of warranty service and not having to figure out how it all goes together. Thoughts?

Union Power Armor should now be craftable by players who have the recipe

Dev Note: PTS Players, we would like your assistance in testing our latest fix for the Union Power Armor crafting topic.
The armor should now be craftable for those who have bought and learned the recipe from Giuseppe. Please note that due to technical limitations, players who earned the armor plans from Season 10 will not be able to craft it on PTS.
When in the test server, you should see the recipes available from Giuseppe if you have not already learned them. After they are purchased, they will no longer be available. Additionally, the armor will no longer drop as loot, but they can be found via the random Power Armor Purchases from Murmrgh at The Rusty Pick. You should expect to only see Union Power Armor Pieces that you know how to craft drop from Purveyor’s Mystery Picks.
Union Power Armor pieces will still have the Atomic Symbol on them and cannot be traded or dropped by players once they have been obtained.

I want to take a moment to talk about crime. While I have read that very strict Sharia law reduces crime in poor Muslim neighborhoods and countries, at least for me personally, what keeps me from committing crime is having money. If I have zero money, I have nothing to lose and I commit crime.
Committing crime is an incredible way to get free food, housing, and healthcare. It's called "going to jail", and it beats being dead because you don't have the money to afford food, housing, and healthcare (starving to death is brutally and unimaginably painful by the way). I have read about people who committed crime while waiting to be approved for government disability benefits because being in jail would allow them to get free food, housing, and healthcare until their case is decided.

Also, Satanism isn't a real religion. Satanists don't actually believe Satan exists. Satanists are actually just atheists who make fun of Christianity, "prodding the bear" so to speak. They're basically just asshole atheists.

Allí, lo agredió física, psicológica y sexualmente, además de mantenerlo en cautiverio durante casi dos meses.
Investigación y aprehensión del agresor
Tras tener conocimiento del caso, la FGEO inició las investigaciones correspondientes y, una vez obtenidas las pruebas suficientes, logró la orden de aprehensión del imputado. El agresor fue presentado ante el Juez para enfrentar la justicia.
Sentencia contundente y reparación del daño
El Juez, tras valorar las pruebas presentadas por la FGEO, dictó sentencia condenatoria de 25 años de prisión en contra de T.P.C., además de imponerle una multa económica y el pago por reparación del daño.
De esta manera, se hizo justicia por los delitos de violación, pederastia, delitos contra la dignidad y el desarrollo de las personas menores de edad, así como privación ilegal de la libertad.

A través de un comunicado, la Fiscalía General del Estado de Oaxaca reitera su compromiso con la protección de las niñas, niños y adolescentes.

My partner (27m) and I (28f) have been together for two years. We met after a huge mental health event (SI) when I was discovered to have a rare condition that causes tumors to develop on certain organs when stressed. Crazy, but he truly showed up as my knight in shingling armor. He has valiantly been the main bread winner as I recovered and learned to live with these new circumstances. I’m beyond grateful for and aware of the sacrifices he has made in his life for us to be be together, so when he learned about an opportunity for his dream job in another state, I immediately agreed that he should take it. Since I don’t work, I wanted him to have the chance for a better quality of life after caring for me for so long. He is truly a giver and my health has prevented him from taking important steps in his life. He would never leave me behind and I wanted to support him to the upmost of my ability.
I knew immediately that the large and infamously violent city we would be moving to would be an uphill battle for me, but I was determined to overcome that and focus on starting an even better life together. When we arrived things were rough, but the city has really started to embraced him. His new job is amazing, the people are kind, hours and pay good, environment great and he’s finally doing the work he always wanted to. He loves the city, socializing with friends and attending events. He’s been able to look past the rough start happily and talks about our future here with eager excitement- progressing at his job, engagement, buying a house (all things we have been planning to do) in this new city. I’m so happy for him to get what he wants now.
However… I’m really struggling. Organizing and executing our move while he worked was exhausting for me. On arrival several unforeseen en events caused us to move again within the city, exposing me to worse and worse party’s of the city. My environment highly impacts my ability to function every day, and the stress of apting has started to manifest in physical symptoms. I have started feeling the warning signs that I’m entering instability mental health wise, and have openly communicated that with him but… he is SO happy here. I refuse to ruin this for him.
He feels terrible that I have been struggling and hates seeing me feel this way. He actively does whatever he can to make this easier for me, and I know that if I ever came to him and asked to leave behind this place and job, he would do it no question. Between his happiness or mine, he would chose mine. Therefore, I refuse to ever ask him to leave. I will never ask him to give up this job and happiness for me after putting my needs first for so long. In the battle between maintaining my mental stability and him achieving his dreams, it’s his turn to come first.

HIGHLIGHTS:

The Project hosts a current undiluted indicated mineral resource of 152.3 million tonnes grading 0.32% copper, 0.009% molybdenum, 0.09 g/t gold and 2.58 g/t silver and an undiluted inferred mineral resource of 139.3 million tonnes grading 0.29% copper, 0.005% molybdenum, 0.07 g/t gold and 4.95 g/t silver.
Development Potential. The Poplar Deposit is a large, near-surface copper deposit that extends to the top of the bedrock and is covered only by a thin veneer (5- 10m thick) of overburden. It possesses a higher-grade core that also extends to the top of the bedrock and may be beneficial to phased mining scenarios.
Exploration Potential. Very little exploration drilling or ground geophysical surveying has been completed outside of the immediate Poplar deposit area, suggesting terrific potential for the discovery of additional porphyry-related mineralization.

MANAGEMENT CHANGE
With the continuing evolution of the Company, Mr. Craig Parry has assumed the role of CEO and will remain Chair of the Company's Board of Directors. Most recently, in his role as CEO of IsoEnergy, he turned an early-stage exploration spinout company into a much larger discovery success story in the uranium space. Mr. Chris Donaldson , remaining as a director of the Company, will step down as CEO effective immediately so that he can devote more time to other pursuits. POPLAR PROJECT
The 39,000-hectare Poplar Project hosts a porphyry-related copper and gold deposit, the Poplar Deposit (Figures 1 and 2). The top 10 historical drill hole intersections (>0.2% Cu) in the Poplar Deposit, ranked by Grade*Length (%Cu*m) are provided in Table 1. The top ranked drill hole was recently completed in 2021 by Universal Copper. Drill hole 21-PC-131 intersected 432.8m @ 0.42% Cu, 0.011% Mo, 0.15 g/t Au and 1.80 g/t Ag (0.58% Cueq 1,2 ) from 2.2m
The Poplar Deposit has a historical indicated mineral resource of 152.3 million tonnes grading 0.32% copper, 0.009% molybdenum, 0.09 g/t gold and 2.58 g/t silver and a historical inferred mineral resource of 139.3 million tonnes grading 0.29% copper, 0.005% molybdenum, 0.07 g/t gold and 4.95 g/t silver (above a cut-off grade of 0.20% copper). The historical mineral resource estimate was prepared for Universal Copper in September, 2021. It is not being treated as a current Mineral Resource Estimate, as the Company has not yet had it verified by an Independent Qualified Person. However, the recent date of the Universal estimate and the lack of drilling completed since that date suggests that the historical estimate is relevant. Readers are cautioned that mineral resources, which are not mineral reserves, do not have demonstrated economic viability.
The Poplar Project is located in mining country, 35km from the Huckleberry Copper Mine. The road accessible property is bisected by a 138 Kva hydroelectric line and lies 88km from the rail head at Houston and 400km from the deep-water port at Prince Rupert by rail.

DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY
The Company will be updating the Mineral Resource Estimate for the Poplar Deposit to bring it up to current status. This will provide important inputs to planned internal scoping level trade-off studies which will be used to rank and prioritize development scenarios amongst the various projects and deposits within the Company. The results of the internal scoping studies will determine the path forward for a Preliminary Economic Analysis.

STOCK OPTIONS AND AMENDED STOCK OPTION PLAN
The Company's board of directors have approved amendments to its current 10% Rolling Stock Option Plan (the " Plan "), originally adopted on September 20, 2021 to comply with the recent changes to the TSX Venture Exchange (the " TSXV ") Policy 4.4 – Security Based Compensation. The amendments have been conditionally approved by the TSXV and are subject to shareholder ratification at the Company's next annual general meeting later this year.

One thing that I'm still SO ANGRY about 10 years post dx is how poorly educated I was about menopause in general. I've been largely symptomatic for a decade despite HRT (mainly because no one would ever give me enough E, and then it turns out I don't tolerate P very well) and I HAD NO IDEA HOW MANY OF MY ISSUES WERE JUST PAIN OLD MENOPAUSE, not the plethora of other conditions I was always wondering if I had.
So, when I stumble on good menopause info, I always want to share it with my POF ladies.

My fellow gamers, for too long has our community suffered the indignation of an intolerable culture that has denigrated, besmirched, exploited, and has outright demonized our culture of unique individuals with a genuine love of a hobby that they see as profitable and progressive. They have taken beloved IP’s (Intellectual Properties) and twisted them into their own personal ideological crusade of undermining and humiliating the core aspects of characters they deemed as “Toxic” or “White Supremacy”. Through the guise and protection of DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusivity) & ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) they have used our influence in the entertainment industry to push their narratives and agendas that have stigmatized our culture with numerous anti-consumer practices that they call “being progressive”. But the truth of the matter is they were never really looking to be a part of our community, they simply wanted to use our community as a tool of activism and propaganda in the entertainment industry as it was extremely profitable, and they wanted inclusion in that division. Ever since GamerGate & Female Frequency, we have had to endure the incursion of forced ideologies, xenophobic behaviors and inferior overpriced products that have never been in our best interest and have been flat out disgraceful towards foreign media.
Before Gaming had become a major source of entertainment, we were often categorized as anti-social or societies rejects where because we found more enjoyment in playing fictional characters and not spending as much time out and about, we never fully assimilated in society (which is a good thing if you ask me). From 1998 to 2007, at the height of innovation, creativity and production, Gaming had reached a golden age in which it had revolutionized society. Hollywood Execs who had ruined the movie industry turned their attention to video games as a source of income since video games had outperformed movies in terms of profit. No one was concerned about gaming, much less diversity or inclusivity until it became profitable. This makes people like SBI look extremely disingenuous as they were not interested in gamers as a community with its own culture. They simply wanted to use it as another weapon in identity politics.
Microtransactions; the hidden enemy to gamer progress and inducer to mental laziness of our community. Microtransactions have been around for a long time; however, it has never been more potent and apparent than in recent years. It has aided in the dismantling and segregation of players on the ideology of FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) and has created another sub-culture of gamers who have no real drive to be better outside of how much money they put into the game. This has degraded our culture as well as we have become “fat” off transactional gaming but at the same time we have been “starved” of purposeful gaming where our achievements were our sustenance. I am not saying that microtransactions are bad, but when they are exploitative and predatorial like they have been and don’t give gamers room to grow, we become lethargic and unwilling to improve ourselves as gamers. Oversaturated microtransactional games are one of the many reasons why we have become complacent and unwilling to fight against the exploitative tactics used by big brand game companies such EA, Ubisoft, ActivisionBlizzard, NaughtyDog and so many other western business model companies. Western style games were not like this in the past, they had much more depth and actual effort put into them with the gamer in mind. This has not been the case for over a decade and our connection to western developers has been whittled down to just being transactional. That is one of the reasons why you see so many remasters and remakes in today’s gamer community. They have lost their willingness to improve as developers of games and simply accept corporate/share holder rules.
Game journalists also do not have any real integrity or purpose outside of being funded for their involvement in promoting IPG (Identity Political Games) in a positive light to the public whether it’s positively received or not. They are not interested in what we have to say, they all support the same agenda and that is why they are a dying breed. Within the next couple of years, they will be out of the job and more than likely they will not be able to stay in the industry giving how they have responded to past articles that have clearly been scripted on the premise of diversity and racism. Not only that, but most of them are also extremely hostile to the community as they stereotype and defame the individuals that are a part of the community they are supposed to serve. We have been mentally liberated from their lies and coercive tactics as we tend to laugh at their obvious attempt at virtue signaling while hiding their misdoings so that they can play the victim.
My gamer brothers & sisters, I would not suggest the following action that we must take now without good cause. I have weighed our options and the best option for us now is this…...CULTURAL SECESSION. Naturally this is a form of segregation where they would more than likely claim they are being segregated by the dominant culture of the gaming community but that is incorrect. For years now we have been the ones who are often marginalized and ostracized for the smaller portion of our community. And when we aren’t, we’re exploited for more funds so that these companies can stay in business only to subject us to low quality products that coincide with the “WOKE Agenda” that are often huge expenses to these big brands i.e. AAA/AAAA games that will eventually flop for its obvious forced diversity and bug infested product which will undoubtedly piss off the consumer to the point of wanting a refund. Losing copious amounts of capital and stock in the process, not to mention their reputation is permanently marred.
We must separate on every cultural level in terms of entertainment and ideology. We must reject everything from the west that promotes toxic western beliefs, practices, and exclusion from other cultures (i.e. Southeastern Countries such as Japan and Korea). Japan & Korea have been the targets of unjust discrimination from Western Developers, Western Journalists, Western Localizers (The Wokelizers) and Western Society Prejudice regarding their sense of aesthetics as Westerners hate the aesthetic sense of these countries. The reason why they resort to such base tactics isn’t just because it weaponizes the ideal female form but it’s also because they have deep-seated insecurities about their own looks so when they see attractive female characters, they use terms such as “unrealistic” or “hypersexualized” to establish the moral high ground. But the truth is, they want to feel superior to that which is ideal, so they insult and dehumanize this figure that portrays natural female beauty because they see it as an insult to their own social superiority in what they believe is a hierarchy of them being at the top of all other women. Because of this and so many contributing factors, their movies flop harder than the Fat Chocobo landing on a group of enemies and their games seismically fail just as much if not more. We must sever our connection to Western Developers, Publishers, and ALL Western-Centric Entertainment for they seek to mentally enslave us to their Xenophobic ideology.
Let’s define Western Culture and its traits. Western Culture/Society is composed of more than several different ideologies that work in unison with one another to facilitate dominance over multiple aspects of society. Business, Social, Political, Technological, and sometimes even Global Affairs are affected by these ideologies that portray a specific mindset of Western beliefs. What are those ideologies you ask?

Perpetual Victimhood: By weaponizing the fact that they are marginalized and of a small portion of western society, they can push their agenda to absurd standards that ultimately ostracize the main demographic. And when companies don’t capitulate, they are labeled as anti-progressive/misogynist’s or cohorts of White Supremacy. They use this to cancel their targets and silence them through societal defamation to keep the public on their side. They also use this mindset to justify their own lack of self-agency as they tend to throw companies who do adhere to their demands but miserably fail to turn a profit under the bus so that they can maintain face in front of the public while denying their actual involvement. They will never accept “Sense of Agency” when it’s negative but will gladly accept it when a positive outcome shines on them as if they are entitled to it.

By weaponizing cancel culture, they exert dominance over these companies but in exchange they also reimburse those companies with DEI & ESG funds that raise their credit score as well as having social status with the marginalized demographic. However; cancel culture has not succeeded in years and developers and publishers probably only want the money and the DEI ESG rating. Dehumanization/Demonization: This is something that most military branches use in order to remove conscious inhibitions such as mass slaughter is wrong or categorization. By enforcing ideologies to denounce humanity in certain targets, it deactivates your conscience by saying this is not human therefore its ethically okay to treat this target without compassion and deny the fact it has sentience. We gamers fall under this category for journalists, developers, companies and society at large. This is a tactic we are familiar with to an extent as it implies that we are not normal when we do not do what everybody else is doing. “Geeks are the worse” or “Nerds need to fall into a pit of lava” are verbal dehumanization forms that most people in society say and we as Gamers tend to be relegated to those categories. This is their way of imposing the social hierarchy on us by establishing superiority. We know this as Gamers as we see it very often in the games that we play and some times experience it in real life.

These traits are so nefarious and unconscionable that I have a hard time believing that anyone could harbor them. However, given the social, political, and economic climate that we are in, those in power who use their influence on controlling society most definitely possess these insidious traits. Everything that they do is all about control and since video games are the biggest market in the world, they want control over it and the communities built around it to accrue more wealth and to use that wealth to subjugate other cultures. We know EXACTLY what they are doing, and they aren’t even trying to hide it anymore because they don’t think we are aware of their motives. This is just a pretext for them to exert even more control and we know why, it’s because they want the influence we as a community have to must serve them. So here is what we do my fellow gamers-

I just wanted to pop on here and post something positive and hopeful. Long story short I’m not sure what caused my hair breakage and loss. Insurance issues have blocked me from getting the proper bloodwork. I started minoxidil back in feb and lost half of the little hair I had left bc of the dread shed. I spent hours on Reddit reading other women’s stories and looking for hope and just feeling devastated.
Stay the course. The dread shed will end. And the worse the shed, the better the results. I have baby hairs growing en masse all over my head. And today for the first time in the shower, my ponytail felt thicker.
My hair is still completely devastated by whatever screwed it up to begin with. I’m still at least a year away from looking like anything close to what I used to look like. But I have progress.
Best piece of advice I can give is don’t stop the minoxidil. And GO GET A GOOD TOPPER OR WIG OR CLIP INS. The clip ins I bought from Amazon saved my life and sanity. I look normal when I leave the house and I’ve stopped thinking about the hair loss 24/7 and I think that’s allowed me to actually see the progress that’s been happening.

I will try to keep this as short as possible.
So basically, I’ve been together with my fiancé for almost 9 years. We are going to marry next month. Unfortunately this year has been really tough, because we have lost all contact with a particular group of family from my fiancés side.
The reason for this is because my fiancés parents had an argument with an aunt & uncle, in which we chose to not take side in. The aunt & uncle have 2 sons en 2 daughters and we always hanged out together (+ mutual friends we have). Especially my fiancé really saw them as his brothers and sisters, because he has no siblings himself.
The aunt did not stop calling my fiancé because she wanted him to hear her side of the story and basically pick her side. Because we were both not present during the argument, it is just a he said she said story and we don’t want to pick sides.
After all, we told them that we were so sorry that this happened and we understand that they are upset and maybe angry, but that we did not want to choose a side and participate in this conflict.
Well all hell broke lose and we got deleted from the family group chat, and all of his cousins blocked our numbers & on all our social media. We then got a text from one cousin who was furious and told us they did not want any contact with us anymore. Also they said some really mean things about me (even though we never had problems and we’ve always been friends?)
My fiancé was and is devastated, he feels so depressed and lonely. He doesn’t really have a lot of friends besides his family, they were basically everything he had. And to just be pushed out of the group like that was just super traumatic for him. He now does not look forward to our wedding because a huge group is not coming anymore. And it’s just not only the cousins, also the same mutual friends have let him down and not one of them texted him how he’a doing or something like that, they all jumped in the hate train and just ignored him.
How are people so cruel? Only because we set our boundaries? I want to make the best of our wedding but I know it will not be the same for him. Please, do you have any tips on how to get through this?

un día mi madre me aviso que iría al supermercado a lo que yo conteste que estaba bien, que me quedaría en mi habitación haciendo mi tarea a lo que ella contesto que estaba bien que en una o dos horas regresaba. Paso aproximadamente una hora cuando escuche como tocaban la puesta de mi casa. Baje corriendo por que pensé que tal ves podia ser mi mamá que se le avía olvidado llevar llaves. Al abrir la puerta no vi a mi mamá si no a un oficial lo invite a pasar sin saber lo que sucedía, nos sentamos en el sofa y me dio la noticia de que mi madre avía sufrido un accidente de auto mientras regresaba a casa y ahora estaba en el hospital con mi padre. Me quede petrificada pues hace una hora mi madre estaba bien y ahora estaba en el hospital luchando por su vida… El oficial se ofreció a llevarme al hospital lo cual acepte ya que quería ver a mi padre y saber lo que había pasado. Al llegar al hospital vi a mi padre sentado en la sala de espera, corri hacia el y nos abrazamos mi padre me dijo que mientras mi mamá regresaba a casa, un auto se estampo con ella causando un choque que ocasionó que mi mamá sufriera multiples fracturas, en su brazo izquierdo, su pierna y sus costillas incluyendo una perfección en su pulmón derecho. Estuvimos horas en la sala de espera hasta que decidimos ir a casa ya que mi mamá estaba en cirugía y iba a tardar un buen tiempo ahí. Al llegar a casa estaba exhausta, tome una larga ducha y dormí me costo un poco pero lo logré. Pasaron unas semanas y mi mamá milagrosamente logro recuperarse y volvió a casa. Mi madre mientras estaba en cirugía su corazón dejo de latir aproximadamente un minuto pero los doctores lograron reanimarla. Ya han pasado unas semanas de que mi madre volvió y nuestra vida a estado volviendo a la normalidad. Mi padre trabaja, yo voy a la escuela, y mi madre se queda en casa. Mi madre ha estado haciendo y actuando de forma extraña lo que me hace pensar que ella no es mi madre. Tiene los mismos rasgos, físicamente es ella pero hay algo que me dice lo contrario. Mi madre odiaba el café por que decía que era muy dañino para nuestros pulmones y hígado y no le gustaba. Por lo cual nadie de mi familia lo consumía ni lo comprábamos. Pero últimamente mi madre ha estado tomando café. Lo cual se me hace muy extraño ya que a ella no le gustaba. Se lo comente a papá pero me dijo que estaba histérica y que mi mamá había pasado por mucho con lo del choque y que la dejara en paz, pero eso no es lo único,eh notado ciertas cosas que me hacen creer eso no son muy grandes pero están ahí. Como que a mi madre le encantaba leer siempre le gusto mucho leer y escribir, pero ahora no la eh visto tocando un libro ni escribiendo cosa que mi madre hacia diario,también note que no tiene la cicatriz en la pierna de cuando salto al rio y se lastimo con una piedra. Cosa que no pudo desaparecer de la nada. A mi mamá le encantaba el color beige, tanto que todo era beige las cortinas,su cama, su ropa, etc. Pero ahora al parecer ya no le gusta ese color si no que ahora le gusta el negro. Cambio todo, las cortinas,su cama, su ropa, su estilo, TODO. Incluso eh notado que cambio su forma de escribir. Mi madre tenia una linda letra, pero ahora su letra es como antigua, escribe en cursiva y desordenadamente y mágicamente ahora toca el piano cuando antes tocaba la guitarra. No se que hacer, mi padre dice que estoy exagerarando y que acepte a mi madre pero simplemente no puedo.

I’ve been storing my retro consoles (sixth generation and prior) in Kallax shelf inserts - to what extent is airflow a concern when these consoles are being stored in such a tight space?
My assumptions were:

Anything before the sixth generation is passively cooled, so being stored in that tight a space is not a concern as long as vents aren’t covered and there’s room to breathe in the front and back when they’re turned on.
The sixth generation (PS2, Xbox, Dreamcast, GameCube) had fans installed, but otherwise the same idea stands - give it room to breathe in the front and back, make sure vents aren’t covered up.
Everything in the seventh generation and onwards (PS3/360/modern HD systems etc) requires plenty of clearance since they can cook themselves in tight spaces, even if there is adequate airflow.
The exemption to the previous rule is anything Nintendo builds, which can be treated as if they were sixth-generation.

Am I completely wrong?
