Ein Kfz-Mechaniker benötigt zum Wechseln eines Reifens 2 Arbeitsschritte. Um den alten Reifen zu entfernen, benötigt er 8 Minuten. Um den neuen Reifen aufzuschrauben, benötigt er 7 Minuten. An einem Tag müssen die Reifen von 24 Autos gewechselt werden. Wie viel schneller wären die Reifen gewechselt, wenn anstatt 4 Kfz-Mechanikern 6 Kfz-Mechaniker gleichzeitig arbeiten würden und der fünfte und sechste Mechaniker eine Stunde früher anfangen würden?

Hey there guys. I'm using WireGuard with my router and it works amazing for my access outside of my home. I love it and now also want to use it to have a site-to-site VPN from my server to an Azure VM to monitor my server.
The problem is that I'm not able to achieve it. The setup: I have an unRAID server with IP 192.168.132.89. For that server, I forwarded port 51820/UDP in my router. Then I have a Ubuntu VM running in Azure with Docker installed. I created a network rule to open port 51820/UDP as well. I got a duckdns address.
In Azure, I run the linuxserver.io/wireguard Docker container. Why? I try to always run everything in Docker but if it is so much more complicated for VPN I would also install it on bare metal if that's the problem.
My docker-compose:

And unRAID tells me I should use this config for the peer (Azure):

I even tried to edit the wg0.conf manually to this but it didn't work. But there is also a note on the docs of linuxserver.io/wireguard:

Site-to-site VPN in server mode requires customizing the AllowedIPs statement for a specific peer in wg0.conf. Since wg0.conf is autogenerated when server vars are changed, it is not recommended to edit it manually.

I read multiple articles and threads but couldn't achieve the connections as the pings are not possible.
Can somebody tell me what I'm doing wrong?

2024.05.16 19:24 chugz New business start-up. Locksmithing or Iron-gates in a growing semi-rural area?

Quick run-down: I'm handy. Have a good knowledge base for construction and DIY. My family has 100acres of some relatively unused land in a small town that is just outside a major metropolitan area (its currently being leased to a cattle rancher for the ag-expemption). This once tiny town is now being bought-up en masse by retirees and people looking to leave the bustle of the cities. Tons and tons of new '5 acre ranch style homes' communities are popping up everywhere. Land value is sky-rocketing. So the people buying these new homes have generally deep-pockets. I have a full-sized truck, a 14ft trailer, a 24' x 10' storage container (with a door and AC) and a 30' x 30' barn to act as a defacto shop until i can expand to something more stable.
Business ideas: I've identified two markets that have little to no competition in within a 50-mile radius of this area. Lock-smithing companies. Iron/Gate companies.
Lock-smith: I have zero formal experience doing this. But I figure the start-up costs are mostly minimal. I can teach myself most of it on youtube and through trial and error. And i can do small auto/house calls out of my truck until i establish more clients. There is zero locksmiths anywhere nearby. However, the pay-scale is probably more modest with most contracts in the 3 figures, with some rarely exceeding 4 figures.
Iron/Gate Co: I have some experience welding, but i'm not proficient. But i know for a fact that every single one of these new 'suburban ranch' homes is going to have a long driveway and a gate, as well as servicing existing ranch gates. So i feel like the demand is there and will keep growing. It has way more start-up cost for equipment, and will probably require employees like an experienced welder for fabrication and and proficient installer. but each contract will be at minimum 4 figures and getting into 5 figures relatively easily. So the pay-scaling would be much higher.
I have a good savings, and about $60k i'd feel comfortable throwing into this. I just finished a long term contract and am looking to start my own thing. My wife brings in great money and is supportive. Told me to give it hell for a year or two and see how it goes.
Just looking for general advice, pitfalls, thoughts, comments, whatever! I've been going back and forth in my head for days and just looking for any feedback.

I have a Kolin 1hp iverter aircon and since lately super init talaga, 24/7 syang nakabukas since WFH din ako. Papatayin ko lang sya if aalis ako saglit para makapagpahinga naman.
Since halos magdamag sya nakabukas, gusto ko sanang makatipid sa kuryente as much as I can. Itatanong ko lang sana if malaki ba yung difference sa kuryente kapag naka-AUTO vs Cool mode (then Eco-gear) yung settings nya?

2024.05.16 18:11 mr_bombon 992.1 Carrera T (manual) w/ M-Engineering Tune - experiences

I've been running the M-Engineering/M-Tuner tune off/on with the 24 manual Carrera T for about a month now. I first had them add all the features, but turning off auto start/stop also kills the very convenient auto-start after you stall. The full open PSE is also VERY deep/bass-y at low RPMs, kind of on the edge of obnoxious for the street imo (or over it really, it gets looks).
I asked if they could keep the exhaust closed down at lower RPMs similar to stock PSE, and they customized my tune to "double" how open the exhaust is at various RPMs which made it sound REALLLY awesome. Not too much like it's straight exhaust, just more of what you get with stock PSE in sport mode.
I also got really paranoid after applying the tune, it might have been me but the PADM engine mounts felt like they were all the way loose or tight for a day after tuning, the whole car shook when you put it in normal mode at idle, and really almost violently shook when you feathered the gas at idle. That and right after you apply the tune (which takes 6 minutes for me), the dash throws errors like "pull handle again to open door" and WBA restricted. While the tune is being applied it's pretty scary, throwing errors like spoiler failed/lower speed. Side-note, I had just gotten the dash cam installed and the battery was pretty drained from me setting it up, I had to wait a day or 2 to tune because I kept getting low battery errors…And they say to be very careful with this since you can brick your ECU if it dies while flashing…So this amplified my paranoia quite a bit.
I was convinced the engine mount issue wasn't temporary, and I thought the auto start/stop defeat was permanently stuck on (car was warming up and gave the auto stop/start off icon), so I sent an alarmed email or 2 to the M-Engineering team, who I must say are really impressive. They are very responsive and surprisingly helpful/patient.
For the tune itself, the added performance with stage 1 is very linear and very noticeable especially in 1st/2nd gears, I imagine it's what the S feels like stock. The turbos are noticeably louder and blow off more pressure more often from the different boost calibration.
I almost get why Porsche doesn't normally sell a stick shift on base engine after running the tune for a while then going back to stock for a couple weeks. With more boost the engine gets through gears and revs faster, at stock 2nd gear is almost too long and disappointing without it. You ring out 1st gear which is amazing stock, then when you shift to 2nd gear, there's a serious dip before you get to max power around 6k RPM that just doesn't feel right and goes away with the tune.
I applied with an older intel-based macbook pro I had that I installed boot camp/Windows 10 on. It's also a USB-C only laptop so need to use a USB-C -> USB-A dongle. Despite all this the M-Tuner software works great and had only experienced an issue with needing to wait until the laptop was booted up/logged into Windows before plugging in the dongle, or it's not recognized.
If anyone has any questions I'm happy to answer them! Another thanks to M-Engineering for catering to my request and not telling me to f' off!

2024.05.16 16:32 rotorwing66 How to get bond (802.3ad) to work? Help needed.

I tried posing this question in proxmox forum but I have not received any replies so I'm trying my luck here. I'm going to try and explain it better.

proxmox server has 4x1gb nic 2x10gb nic
switch is TL-SG3452p w/lacp enabled
I have one 4port trunked lag going from my OPNsense FW to the switch, (everything works 100%)
I have 2xports on my switch that are trunked with active lacp, that goes to my 2x10gbNIC on the proxmox server.

I get internet connection on my proxmox management/native vlan, "200" in this case.
but when I try to place one CT/VM on My DMZ network "10" I get no internet connection.
If I put my computer on vlan "10" directly I get internet connection.
I can ping every vlan from my "200" vlan, but cant ping my "200" vlan from my CT on the "10"vlan.

Do you see anyting wrong, that can help me get this fixed? I would really appreciate your help!
