Not only do they provide a comfortable and non-slip surface for your practice, but they also offer a stylish and eco-friendly alternative to traditional rubber or PVC mats. In this article, we'll explore the various materials, designs, and features of cloth yoga mats, helping you find the perfect mat to enhance your yoga experience. The Top 7 Best Cloth Yoga Mats
ReviewsHigh Quality Yoga Mat with Blocks, Towels, and Knee Padhttps://preview.redd.it/l9y46eugmp1d1.jpg?width=768&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e14cbae02a07ae80720560a0d53df04fb3ed6666 I must say, the Balancefrom GoYoga 7-piece Set has truly transformed my yoga experience. This set, complete with a yoga mat, carrying strap, two yoga blocks, a yoga mat towel, a yoga hand towel, a yoga strap, and a knee pad, provides everything a beginner like me needs to get started. Firstly, the highlight for me was the non-slip traction of the mats. Double-sided non-slip surfaces ensured I never had to worry about slipping during a vigorous workout session. Additionally, it's made with moisture-resistant technology, making it easy to clean using just soap and water. The variety of choices is another advantage. You can opt for either a 1/2" thick mat or a 1/4" thick mat, depending on your preference. Both the yoga mat towel and hand towel are made of 100% microfiber, providing excellent absorption to keep my sessions sweat-free and comfortable. However, the strap did seem a bit bulky for my taste. It resembled more of a luggage strap than a yoga strap. This is a minor inconvenience, though, and it didn't affect my overall satisfaction with the product. I also appreciated the durability and support this set offered. The mats and blocks are sturdy and well-made, withstanding daily use for weeks now. The knee pad has been a lifesaver for me, providing extra cushioning and comfort during some of my more challenging poses. In conclusion, I would highly recommend the Balancefrom GoYoga 7-piece Set to anyone starting their yoga journey or looking to enhance their existing practice. It's well-made, comfortable, and offers an excellent value for the features it provides. The only drawback is the bulkiness of the carrying strap, but that's a minor inconvenience compared to the wealth of benefits this set offers. Remember, the real test of a yoga set is how it performs in use, not how it looks in pictures. And in my case, this set has truly exceeded my expectations. Thick & Supportive Gaiam Yoga Mathttps://preview.redd.it/gfk8y1ihmp1d1.jpg?width=768&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8556356de548faebda86e3df16b37bf5f9a06c67 I recently started practicing yoga at home, and I was looking for a fitness mat that provided comfort, support, and style. I came across the Gaiam Essentials Thick Yoga Mat, and let me tell you, it has exceeded my expectations. The moment I unrolled this mat, I was hit with the thickness of the foam. It's a whole inch thick, providing superior cushioning and support for any type of floor work. Not only that, but it also has non-slip ridges, ensuring that I am held in place during even the most intense poses. Another feature that I absolutely love is the easy-cinch carrying strap. It makes transporting the mat a breeze, whether it's to the gym or simply storing it in my home. Additionally, the mat is available in a variety of colors, which allows me to match it with my workout attire or set the mood for my practice. However, there are some drawbacks to this mat. A few users have reported that the surface can become slippery when they sweat. Also, the foam can stretch slightly during use, causing some discomfort in certain poses. In conclusion, the Gaiam Essentials Thick Yoga Mat is a comfortable and supportive choice for anyone looking to enhance their fitness routine. With its thick foam, non-slip ridges, and easy-cinch carrying strap, it's a perfect addition to any home or gym. Just be sure to consider the potential issues with slipperiness and stretching, but overall, I would highly recommend this product. ProSource 5mm Thick Yoga Mat with Exclusive Designshttps://preview.redd.it/p2vix8shmp1d1.jpg?width=768&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9fc8073cd0b7a78bf0d1980c7f1dcd741f0fbb08 I have been using the ProSource Printed Yoga Mat Tao for a few weeks now and I must say that it has completely transformed my yoga practice. The unique tree of life design adds a touch of serenity and inspiration to every session, keeping me focused and grounded. One of the standout features of this yoga mat is its thickness. At 5mm, it provides ample cushioning for my joints while also allowing me to remain stable during different poses. The non-slip surface ensures that the mat stays in place on the floor, preventing any unnecessary movement or slipping. A moisture-resistant coating comes in handy as it prevents odors from building up, making the mat easy to maintain. Additionally, the non-toxic PVC material ensures that both the environment and my well-being are well taken care of. While the product is lightweight (less than 3 pounds), it rolls up easily for storage when not in use. Its versatility extends beyond yoga, serving as an excellent mat for core workouts, push-ups, and stretching, allowing me to enjoy a well-rounded fitness routine. A few minor cons include a mild odor upon unpacking, which has gradually subsided over time. Some users also reported slipperiness during practice, but I personally haven't experienced any issues with grip. Overall, the ProSource Printed Yoga Mat Tao is a high-quality, stylish, and comfortable addition to any home or studio yoga setup. Its durability, portability, and support make it an excellent choice for both beginners and advanced yogis alike. Gaiam Printed Marrakesh Yoga Mathttps://preview.redd.it/vj0l47cimp1d1.jpg?width=768&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c704895818ba3cd283d0db7b6908c68d522eda3b I've been using the Gaiam Printed Marrakesh Yoga Mat for a few weeks now, and it has made my daily yoga practice so much more comfortable and enjoyable. The 5mm thickness provides ample cushioning, protecting my knees and other joints during intense postures and movements. The print on the mat is beautiful, and it comes in various colorful designs that can brighten up any yoga studio or home. What I love the most about this mat is its grip quality. It's like I'm practically glued to it, so I don't have to worry about slipping during a challenging pose. Plus, the light texture on the surface adds extra traction for those sweaty sessions! However, one downside I experienced is the initial strong odor when first unrolling the mat. It took a few days of airing out and spot cleaning with mild detergent and water before the smell dissipated completely. But once that hurdle was overcome, the mat has been nothing but fantastic! The quality of craftsmanship is evident in the Gaiam Printed Marrakesh Yoga Mat, as it seems to be very durable and withstands regular use. Plus, knowing that it's latex-free gives me peace of mind and makes me feel good about supporting eco-friendly products. In conclusion, if you're looking for a comfortable, well-made, and eye-catching yoga mat, I highly recommend giving the Gaiam Printed Marrakesh Yoga Mat a try. It's perfect for both home and studio use, and it comes with a lifetime guarantee, so you can practice your heart out without worrying about its durability. Reversible 5mm Yoga Mat with Carry Straphttps://preview.redd.it/9b04mnkimp1d1.jpg?width=768&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2216fa4810d93add82ccb7d7a0328ee77484c4e5 As a yoga enthusiast, I've discovered that having the right mat can make all the difference in my practice. The CAP Yoga Reversible Yoga Mat has been a game-changer for me, providing a comfortable and stylish surface for my yoga and Pilates sessions. The Dahlia on mustard print gives a vibrant touch, while the Ginkgo on London stone print adds a calming vibe. One of the highlights of this yoga mat is its eco-friendliness and high resistance. It's made of environmentally friendly materials, making it a conscientious choice for yogis who care about the planet. The 5mm thickness provides enough cushioning, ensuring a comfortable workout session. Additionally, the mat is lightweight, which makes it easy to transport using the included carry strap, whether it's for home, gym, or studio use. However, I've also noticed that this yoga mat may have some imperfections. Some users have reported a strong smell, which could require airing out for a few days before usage. Additionally, the grip quality isn't perfect, as some users have experienced hands slipping during practice. Despite these minor issues, I've found the CAP Yoga Reversible Yoga Mat to be a worthwhile investment for my yoga needs. Its blend of practicality, comfort, and attractiveness makes it a valuable addition to any yogi's collection. So why not give it a try and find out if it's the right fit for your practice? Pink 1-Inch Extra Thick Exercise Yoga Mathttps://preview.redd.it/3relua1jmp1d1.jpg?width=575&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ac4c37f96d8e557d0822cbac51b1c6f223daef15 I recently got the BalanceFrom GoCloud 1" Extra Thick Exercise Yoga Mat with Carrying Strap in pink, and it's my new favorite workout accessory! As someone who's always on-the-go, it's been amazing to have a portable mat that provides excellent support during my workout sessions. The mat's high-density foam is super thick, ensuring maximum comfort and making a huge difference in absorbing impact on my joints. Its anti-tear surface holds up well against regular use, while its double-sided non-slip surface prevents accidents and keeps me stable during intense training. Plus, the included carrying strap makes transportation and storage a breeze. One of the best things about this mat is its color - it looks so stylish and inviting! Its lightweight design makes it easy to take along wherever I go. However, I have encountered a couple of minor issues: the first is that the material occasionally retains odors, but regular cleaning usually takes care of it. The second issue is that the included strap could be a bit more secure when carrying the rolled-up mat. All in all, I love my BalanceFrom GoCloud Extra Thick Exercise Yoga Mat! Its great features, such as comfort, support, and portability, make it an excellent addition to my workout gear. Organic Cotton Yoga Rug - Blue by Live Well 360https://preview.redd.it/xjf5j5ljmp1d1.jpg?width=1152&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4c2e6619aabf3a71dd683cc3e9045e37e23da436 I recently got my hands on the Blue Live Well 360 Organic Cotton Yoga Rug, and I must say, it has made my yoga sessions more enjoyable. This lightweight, foldable mat is perfect for those who love to practice outdoors or on different surfaces. It's a great travel companion as it doesn't take up much space in your bag, and it's easy to wash. The 360 Yoga Rug is made from organic cotton, making it a skin-friendly choice. Its soft texture is gentle on my hands and feet, unlike some synthetic mats that can be harsh. A standout feature is its size; it's longer and wider than most standard mats, providing ample space for my body during yoga poses. However, there are cons to consider. The rug lacks the same level of cushioning as regular foam or rubber mats, so it may not be ideal for those who require more support during their practice. Additionally, its grip can be an issue on harder surfaces like tile or concrete, so I always pair it with a non-slip pad for extra safety. In conclusion, the Live Well 360 Organic Cotton Yoga Rug offers a comfortable and ethical choice for yogis looking for a natural mat option. While it may not suit everyone's needs due to its lack of cushioning and gripping issues on certain surfaces, it has undoubtedly enhanced my yoga experience in terms of portability and skin-friendliness. They are also often softer and more comfortable to practice on, especially during prolonged sessions or for those with sensitive joints. Additionally, many people prefer the feel and texture of cloth mats compared to rubber or PVC alternatives. How do I clean and maintain a cloth yoga mat?To clean a cloth yoga mat, gently hand wash it with a mild detergent and warm water, being careful not to soak it completely. Rinse thoroughly and hang to dry. You can also periodically vacuum or brush off your mat to remove loose dirt and particles. Avoid using harsh chemicals, bleach, or high heat when cleaning your cloth yoga mat. https://preview.redd.it/2r8yqr7lmp1d1.png?width=1024&format=png&auto=webp&s=6252a402d23f03f98afda6e893b877a64caf4b34 Are cloth yoga mats good for all yoga practices?Cloth yoga mats are versatile and can be used for most yoga practices, including vinyasa, hatha, and ashtanga. However, if you're attending a hot yoga class or participating in a more intense practice like power yoga, a rubber or PVC mat may be a better choice due to its slip-resistance and firmer surface. How do I prevent my cloth yoga mat from slipping during practice?
How do I choose the right size cloth yoga mat for me?Choose a cloth yoga mat that is large enough to comfortably support your body during practice, without being too bulky or heavy to transport. Standard sizes include 68" x 24" or 72" x 24", but some brands also offer extra-long mats for taller practitioners. Are there any climate considerations when using a cloth yoga mat?Cloth yoga mats may not perform as well in high-humidity environments, as increased moisture can make them slippery. In these conditions, consider using a non-slip spray or a rubber or PVC yoga mat as an alternative. How do I store my cloth yoga mat?Ideally, you should hang your cloth yoga mat to dry after use and then roll it up with the bottom of the mat facing outwards (to prevent the rolled edges from fraying). Store your mat in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. If you need to fold your cloth mat for storage, fold it as gentle as possible to prevent creasing. How do I handle odors on my cloth yoga mat?To combat odors, regularly clean your cloth yoga mat using a gentle detergent and warm water. You can also sprinkle some baking soda or essential oils on your mat between uses to help absorb moisture and sweat. If the odor persists, you may need to replace the affected part of the mat or consider using a different type of yoga mat material. As an Amazon™ Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. |

Admittedly it won't set very well but I used: submitted by SniffMyBotHole to CasualUK [link] [comments] 600g soft cheese, Tesco's Creamfields one. 200ml of double cream, whipped. Folded in some melted white chocolate. Biscuit base, added a bit too much butter and didn't bake it long enough so it's not crunchy, it's soft. Made from "Oaties" (working class HobNobs). Then I blended blueberry's and reduced down with honey and a little water, added some on top. I haven't actually eaten it yet, I just know I'm so proud of it I shed a little tear of joy that I did some dessert making and it didn't go too wrong! |
2024.05.21 00:13 SlimeSpree HUGE Pilot Review (with pics!)
I'm so excited to finally be reviewing Pilot! This is gonna be a long, info and image dense one! Lets go!.... submitted by SlimeSpree to Slime [link] [comments] Pilot Slimes, USA. Variety of sizes from 7/7.5/8oz costing between £12-16. Fantastically designed waterproof labels. Some of the jars are PS which I’m not a fan of as they can’t be squeezed to aid in slime removal and it’s a nightmare, if not impossible, getting the labels off them even with the scotch tape method. They always come off PP pretty clean using this method. However, the textures that really need to be squeezed such as crunch bombs do come in PP jars. https://preview.redd.it/p98sicrz8n1d1.jpg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a517408c01976e714d1bbe3496463b423681cc0e I placed a couple of separate orders having circled back round after nabbing the ones I wanted most. It turned out to be unnecessary shopping from Pilot this manner! I really didn’t know what to expect and whether things would sell out in a frenzy but that wasn’t the case at all so you don’t have to stress! It was a lovely surprise to get a super sweet email from Travis from Pilot asking me if I wished to combine orders. I really appreciate this level of customer service from a slime store as, I know it sounds silly, but I know what its like to be rammed with orders and emails after a product drop and don't want to further add to a team's stress by bothering them to dig out and combine my orders when it's my fault I shopped that way. Travis even wrote me a thank you note on the inside of the box flap so respect to Pilot for their absolutely stellar customer service! Inside the box was a fat baggie of Borax with a sticker, a beautifully professional, large sized care card. Everything was extremely well packaged and the slimes were combined individually with their add ins which I very much appreciated! They also very kindly sent me two medium sized complimentary slimes. I should state that I always put all my slimes in the fridge for 15 minutes prior to a review. I think that gives all slimes a fair and common starting point from which to judge them and takes back any stickiness in the event of hot weather. After reviewing, all my retained slimes are kept in a cooler at 10c/50f/degrees and 70% RH to ensure longevity and maintain them for future play. I will report back on their longevity in a few months time but I don't keep them all, only my favourites which I will be certain to want to play with again, with the rest given to friends. Most of the slimes were a tiny bit over-activated on arrival which is actually something I appreciate and see as conscientious by a slime company. It is something some of my favourite stores routinely do (such as Momo.) I don’t add glycerine, I feel it makes them stay playable without the need for activator longer and allows them to melt down gradually on their own. I personally enjoy a bit of over-activation as it adds a slight crunch to some textures when you stretch them which I personally find satisfying. The down side is that cetain textures may be a little rippy but this was a minor issue with Pilot.
This is a puffy, stretchy, firm cloud creme, very slightly towards the doughy. It’s holdable, jiggly and gives a hollow “tup” when you give it a love tap when it’s fully inflated. It is very stretchy with clicks that get louder as it inflates and little crackles and pops. Lots of soft sizzles as you deflate. As mentioned above it was a little over-activated which made it rip just a little if I stretched too fast. I loved this theme so much. The label was beautiful and assembled it really entertained me!

This is a texture I mostly like to slowly push and squeeze to maximize the croaks and it works so well with the combo of beads. It has some nice crackles and little pops when you stretch it and fold it. The base is a thick, resistant and chewy putty and has no stickiness. This was the perfect frogspawn crunch bomb and I very much enjoyed it! I would 100% grab this texture again in a heartbeat! Ribbet! 🐸 🫧
Overall, this isn’t a a particularly pokey texture BUT…. The other day I seemingly upset someone who voiced their discontent after I noted and warned in a review that a slime had the potential to cut skin. Admittedly, the texture I am referencing was a far more notably rough one. However, I did find several pieces of silica in this slime that had the potential to be dangerous and this time I took photos to demonstrate this. This isn’t the slime maker’s fault, it is unfortunately inevitable that some broken, sharp pieces will manifest when dealing with large batches of silica and you do have to be mindful as if you catch one wrong and you could scratch, nick or quite seriously pierce your skin. Once again this is NOT a direct criticism of Pilot seeing as this is common in any slime of this texture. If you buy silica slimes from ANY slime company I would recommend you have a careful look and feel through the slime prior to play to ensure there are no dangerous pieces, especially if you are going to hand it to a less experienced slimer or a child. I feel it would be wise for shops offering this texture to put a little warning on their website that sharp and broken pieces could be present and need to be checked for. Admittedly, this has put me off this texture across the board (apart from the Rodem ones which seem to include particularly well rounded, small and smooth pieces of silica.) This is one of the prettiest slimes I have ever seen first opened but I find it comparatively dull combined which is a shame! There were 5-10 extremely sharp silica pieces in my jar so PLEASE be careful with this texture from any company and remember that silica is a component of glass. This is not an issue unique to Pilot or a criticism of their rendition of this texture at all but I would be mindful that this can happen in any silica slime. (Please excuse the gross macro shot of my dry slime fingers 😆)

I personally think this is also prettier without the seed beads after play.

This is a GORGEOUS light, fluffy, moist and jiggly snow creme with nice, moist, clicky finger pokes. This is far closer to what I imagined when it came to Pilot’s famous “wip” texture reminding me of a floofy, whipped honey butter sort of texture, I personally found it a preferable texture to 'Toasted.' It inflates loads and gets airier and fluffier as you play. It also has some great bubble pops. This was a fantastic slime and certainly the star of the show for me. I am now very keen to get my hands on more like this from Pilot. https://preview.redd.it/47dgps98ln1d1.jpg?width=5866&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=51807f49cf16f0fee9d35f4ac66aa32cdeccd09d
When the moooon hits your eyyye like a biiiig pizza piiiie....etc. 😂 The second free slime was an unnamed silica, seed bead and fish bowl crunch bomb which I am saving for a friend as it’s hard to review a no-name slime because I can’t tell you guys what it is in order to enable you to buy it! CONCLUSION: I’ve heard people say they were underwhelmed with Pilot and I can understand where they are coming from. I believe that it’s because the extreme hype leads us to believe that some sort of new slime innovation is coming our way, just to discover that the textures are all particularly familiar to us and very common to many other slime companies. I didn’t experience any textures that were new, unusual or particularly nuanced and sophisticated although I thought the lemon meringue was one of the nicest of that particular texture (and combined scent) I have experienced of late. In my opinion, the manner in which Pilot shines and DOES deserve hype arises from the fact they are all VERY well done, extremely professionally made slimes. Nothing was sticky, I feel the slight over-activation is a professionally conscientious move, there was no mess or spillage on the containers, the labels were absolutely beautiful, the packaging and care card lovely and the themes all absolutely fantastic. I found a small percentage of the scents to be excellent and the others somewhat faint/underwhelming and, in light of the plastic beads, some very unpleasant unfortunately. The overall impression I got from Pilot was a very polished and professional one and I personally very much enjoyed my order and will retain with enthusiasm. However, my future purchases from them (because there will be future purchases, they won me round) will be more targeted and far more modest. I would certainly be interested in more light wips, frogspawn crunch bombs and pigmented clears. The caviar and seed beads lost me and I just give up on silica at this point (apart from Rodem's) I’m afraid. The denser snow cremes didn’t really capture me and the scents are definitely something I will be a little more considered over when I shop in future. I thought they nailed the sweet/creamy/bread scents, they may be my preference scent-wise but they are not always done well. All in all I feel that Pilot are worthy of a solid 9.5/10 |
2024.05.20 22:23 musicalastronaut Pain au chocolat/croissant help
Hi y’all. I bought an online croissant/pain au chocolat baking class through La Cuisine Paris a while back (when our trip got covid cancelled). Finally got around to trying it, and I’m frustrated to say the least. Maybe it was poorly or quickly put together vs the in-person classes but basically the video & written instructions don’t quite match, but also there is just very little detail. The thing they went into most was how to flour your counter. My first attempt came out poorly (like brioche inside) and after googling I found a ton of reasons this could have happened that the course never mentioned. submitted by musicalastronaut to Baking [link] [comments] I’m now in search of a good recipe to follow. But, I’m feeling frustrated because I keep seeing really different opinions on whether or not the dough needs a first rise. Some people say to let it rise for an hour before sticking it into the fridge or the freezer. Other people say, don’t let it rise and put it straight in the freezer overnight. What is best? Also, maybe I’ve been reading too many of these, but I feel so confused about what a turn is. Do I literally rotate the dough 90° before rolling it out each time? Or is that just a term given to folding and then rolling the dough out? I really just want to make and eat some croissants and I am feeling so frustrated right now. ☹️ Any advice would be really appreciated. |

Meanwhile while all this was happening, John Graham was taking a walk in Bodeland. submitted by chaos_knight_xy to u/chaos_knight_xy [link] [comments] Graham loved taking walks in the Boudican settlement, surrounded by walls, he had done it often, despite the many months that have passed. Every time he does it, he is amazed how, despite being in a different country, the Boudicans have turned it into a landscape similar to mainland Boudica. Graham enjoyed the constant wonders of walking through town. Bam! A rubber ball hit Graham in his chest, however he did not feal it at all. Rather he was surprised at where the ball came from, for he wasn't paying attention. He picked it up. "Hey, our ball." Said a boy, about six years old, along with other boys holding hurling sticks. "Oh, is this yours?" Said Graham. "Well, here you go just be more careful where you aim it, I don't want you hit anyone else." Graham handed back the ball. "Ok, yessir sir Graham." Replied one of the boys, at once the boys went back to playing their game. Graham continued on his path, after a while he exchanged a few waves with people on the road. Graham's people, the people of Bodeland, have accidentally calling him Sir John Graham, from time to time. And each time, Graham had to correct them. A squire and a knight did look similar in Boudica, the main difference between a squire and a knight was a knight was usually older, around 15 or older. Although there are a few exceptions, that Graham has heard about, although they may just be rumors. RRRRRMMMMmmmmm! Graham felt his stomach growl. He decided it was time to eat his fill for breakfast. He went to the local bakery. "Mr. John Graham, it has been a while!" said the head baker, Mrs. Baird. "What can I get for you today." "I shall have jelly tart." Said Graham, putting down a silver coin to pay for the tart, as well as tip. "I need to eat something before studying under the Steward. "Coming right up." Said Mrs. Baird, turning to her husband, Mr. Baird, who enjoyed baking, while his wife, Mrs. Baird managed everything. "You heard him Larry, make him a jelly tart, larger than usual, and put a poached egg on the side. Graham was about to open his mouth, but Mrs. Baird spoke first. "On the house, Graham cracker." Said Mrs. Baird. "I don't even need that much, Mrs. Baird." Said Graham. "Oh, come on you are growing boy, you've done so much for us already keeping everyone safe, little knight." Replied Mrs. Baird. "Right, Larry!" "Right, dear." Replied Mr. Larry Baird. "Also have to thank you, especially your sister for that cookie recipes." Said Mrs. Baird. Mrs. Baird then handed Graham his food. "I'll be sure, to give Mary your regards." Said Graham. "Good luck on your studies, Graham cracker." Said Mrs. Baird. Graham left the bakery shop; after that, Mrs. Baird was like another mother to Graham, she cooked the best baked goods he had ever tasted. He loved everything about Bodeland, well, except for their disdain for his brother in arms, William Wallace. "Well, nothing is perfect." Though Graham. "But Naruto had won people over, maybe if William tried, he could do the same." Graham did not reflect any further, he had to go study under the high steward of Bodeland. The High Steward was Steward Andreas Halliday who was of common birth, yet excelled at Universities in the Papal states, islands east of Boudica, home to the Boudican Church. Graham himself was an extroverted outgoing guy, however he felt that he fell behind Stewart and William Wallace in certain aspects, mainly smarts and education. Unlike Stewart and Wallace, Graham struggled reading and learning new information. He didn't know why, but it just was tough for him. Graham passed his natural Boudican education befitting a squire, but deep down he felt he underperformed. Graham desired to be a hero like Naruto Uzumaki, and heroes have challenges they must overcome. So, Graham felt he must overcome his hurdle in education. So, Graham, with his Boudican money purchased time from the Bodeland High Steward to educate him. Meanwhile, Ehou and William Wallace were still traveling north. Ehou felt unnerved, through the ride, looking anxiously at his side dagger. He had lied to his mother about sleeping pills, rather he actually went to see the doctor. He had the doctor wipe his visit from hospital records because he wanted it private. Ehou tried remembering what happened after the tournament, but it was a blank. William Wallace then stopped the both of them on the road. William then got off his horse, then took out his mace. Ehou's blood pressure skyrocketed, he fumbled, fell off his horse, and dropped all his weapons, and ran away. "Wait, Ehou." Cried Wallace. But Ehou was gone, he just kept running, and running. Eventually Ehou found himself in a field, sitting on a stump. He looked down at the ground, unsure of his life. He started crying. "Ehou." Said Wallace, finally caught up. "What has gotten into you, you have been acting weird, ever since after the squire's tourney." Ehou looked towards William Wallace with tearful eyes. William was taken aback. "I killed him!" cried Ehou. "I killed Scrope!" William was shocked. "I'm sorry, I lied, I-I can't be warrior anymore." Said Ehou with a sad expression. "Killing is to-to much." https://preview.redd.it/ghocdn65tl1d1.png?width=780&format=png&auto=webp&s=63db55a57ae039dbb7168832e87478a9d8fc7cc5 Meanwhile the High Steward of Bodeland was in his place of work in Bodeland. Steward Andreas Halliday was working on a letter to Shinobi businessmen and work colleagues of his. A servant came in, with more letters from his business compatriots. "Thank you, Matthias." Said Andreas. "My pleasure, sir." Replied the servant. Andreas continues to read the letters of concern or replies to his own concerns. He then remembers a meeting he hosted with them. A meeting about a couple of weeks ago. "Preposterous." Said one businessman. "This whole idea of peace in the Land of Fire is a joke." Granted these men were of Shinobi origin, Andreas was surprised to hear men of the Shinobi World up set at the state of affairs in their own country. "Who thought it was a good idea to put an uneducated brute in charge of a whole village, and it's welfare." Said another. "I get you need a powerful leader in times of war, but we are in "peace.", living in peace is a lot more complicated than living in war." "It shouldn't be!" said different Shinobi businessmen. "The Hokage takes forever to approve paperwork, business is slow because of him, who though a warrior would be a good businessman, or politician in the time of peace, if you ask me, he is a war leader, not peace leader. One day, I thought he actually got better at economics, but from what I hear the Boudican William Wallace, who is actually educated, did the paperwork with ease, and actually made business for us run smoothly that day, but then it was back to being bad like it is always." "Don't you dare speak that name, William Wallace!" Said Andreas. "William Wallace is cold blooded murderer." The businessmen looked at each other after Andreas's statement. "Anyways, that doesn't matter to us." Replied businessmen. "Whatever your feud with this half-Boudican, Balliol says if the Leaf knew the truth about him, there would be too many questions." Andreas composed himself. "Right, forgive me, on to Business then." Said Andreas. A different businessmen came up with paper. "Finally, we are going to discuss the Land of Fire government." He spoke. "Times have changed, they are more complicated in peace, than war, we need a Democratic government." "A democratic government?" said Andreas with surprise. "Interesting, although Boudica didn't have that, not exactly at least. I have had children of nobility be my wards of mine for bit, so they may learn about studies, government, and the people, they would one day rule, then again, we are instilling our values in them, so in a way it is a form of democracy, because we are showing the children of the ruling class how to best rule us, by understanding our struggles. So, I can see my Boudican culture being a form of democracy, if the common folk help raise the future class. It explains why we kept peace for as long as we can remember." "I agree on the democratic aspect, but you have a Boudican culture, we have a Shinobi one." replied one of the businessmen. "Different cultures require different solutions, right now we live under a dictatorship of uneducated warriors, who think battle can decide leadership in politics, government, and the economy. Same applies to the noble clans, they hold all the power, and their heirs receive it on a silver platter for free, no matter what. Yet us businessmen worked ourselves up from nothing, and yet we have no say in government, we know what is best for the common folk, because we are of the common folk, we create business, we create jobs, we make sure our children understand the importance of working hard and establishing themselves. We need a Democracy, and Balliol will help us achieve it. If we don't succeed, much more crimes will happen under Dictatorship. Doesn't matter if Naruto Uzumaki seems like a good guy, in our eyes, he is an awful Government official, Hiruzen Sarutobi was also considered a good Hokage, yet look what happened under his watch, the Uchiha massacre!" The Businessmen start murmuring among themselves, agreeing with one another. "I agree." Said Andreas. "No matter how you look at it, the Uchiha massacre was not justified, they should have known the Uchiha would retaliate for how piss poorly they have been treated. Being blamed by the nine tales attack, racially discriminated against, especially by the Second Hokage, forced to be outcasts of the village, oh even worse guilt tripped one of their own to carry out the massacre, talk about exploitation." "Correct." Replied one of the businessmen. "We are different, we make sure not to exploit our workers, or else, no-one would support us, in fact, pay your workers justly and treating them well, this way makes more profit for everyone in the long run." "But Naruto and Sasuke, as well as the other members of the Konoha are just two powerful, no one can stand against them, no wonder there is peace." said one of the other businessmen. "There is peace by fear, because anyone who would go openly against them would be annihilated." All the businessmen nodded in agreement, so now they have to discuss a different course of action. "Whatever our course will be gentlemen." Remembered Andreas. "Balliol will come up with the proper procedure, perhaps we may gain influence from Lord Comyn marrying the Princess Asami." Andreas at that moment stopped remembering the meeting. He was back in his office. He realized he broke his writing quill. He closed his eyes and sighed. "We must establish our democracy." Said Andreas to himself. "But first we must be patient." At that moment, a servant knocked on the door. "Sir, your scheduled pupil has arrived." Said the servant. "Very, well, send him in." replied Andreas. Graham was led in at once. "I am here Mr. Andreas." Said Graham. "As usual, shall we start your lessons." Replied Andreas. Graham nodded. Andreas began reviewing Boudican Literature and Mathematics with Graham. "Now how did Beowulf beat Grendel?" asked Andrea quizzing Graham. "By ripping off, his arm." Replied Graham. "Correct." said Andreas. "I seem you have improved." "Even so, I still struggle with the readings." Replied Graham. "When I try to read a page, it becomes hard to focus, I was only able to pass squire education, because I studied with others, but now it has been a while, and now I am ashamed that I am slowly forgetting literature. I can remember my training and skills, for me at least, muscle memory is easier than written memory, although the teachings on magic are a whole different story." "Graham, remember my question for you." Said Andreas. "Yes, Mr. Steward." Replied Graham. "Do you have the answer for my question on Democracy." Said Andreas. "Well, sir, I like the idea of people choosing who shall rule them." Said Andreas. "I mean personally I don't see, why you asked me the question though." "Just curious." Said Andreas, looking at Graham. "One thing for sure." Said Graham, in a joking voice. "I hope they vote for you, instead of me, I'd say I am a half decent warrior, but warriors don't make good peace leaders, if all they did to get there was fight. At the very least, they should have educated businessmen, help them out." "Exactly, that is why if you were voted, you would be a good leader, you recognize your short comings, and rather than ignore them, you get intelligent people to plug the gaps." Said Andreas, with excitement. Graham was surprised. "I guess, I can see where you are coming from." Said Graham. After a long important conversation, Graham left happy. Then he had a gut feeling, then smacked his face. "I am taking a little leap of faith." Said Graham. "Oh, I may have-." At once, something fast caught his eye, it was fast, but he was faster. Graham saw it was an owl with an expertly bandage wing, so he followed it. It was fast, so he had to run. As he followed, he analyzed the owl. He saw that the brace, it needed to fly with, was made of fine thin wood, flexible enough so the owl could flap its wings. He followed it for a while, finally going up steps. Then it finally stopped and landed on a rock bench. Graham had finally gotten to the place where the Owl had landed. "There you are! Ibet." Said a girl's voice. "You flew for longer than last time, let me examine your wing." Graham was amazed, that finally made owl wing cast, was made none other than this girl, about his age. Graham saw the girl had dark brown, fair skin and grey eyes; she analyzed the owl's wing expertly. "She is that smart?" thought Graham. The girl did not notice Graham, rather analyzed her owl, then took out a book to look to for something to help her in regard to the owl. Graham gave a small smile. "That's- that's a neat invention for the owl." Said Graham. https://preview.redd.it/czaal5c8tl1d1.png?width=704&format=png&auto=webp&s=00c4c4a7cc08b2ed478e3eab20a1b6b30c650f5b The girl looked up at him from her book. "Oh." She said surprised. "I didn't see you there, Squire." Graham smiled. "It is John Graham." Replied Graham. "John?" she said. "There's too many Johns, you shall be known as Graham to me." "Fair enough." Replied Graham. "And your name is?" "Marjory Halliday." Said Marjory. "Daughter of the Bodeland High Steward." Graham felt he would have trouble remembering that. "I'll call you Jory for short." Said Graham. Marjory crossed her arms. "Marjory is a unique name." said Jory in a disappointed tone. "Well, Jory sounds better." Replied Graham, smiling. Marjory closed her book aggressively. "Are you so forgettable, that you can't remember a name, or do you only remember the sword?" she said in a disappointed tone. Graham was embarrassed. "Yes, your right." Said Graham "I am very forgettable, that is why I study under the Steward, your father, I need to sharpen my mind." Jory was surprised. "I thought Squire's only need to sharpen their swords." Said Jory. "Well, what I seek I need to work for, one which I need not sharper my sword, but my mind as well, to sharpen off the dullness of my mind." Said Graham. Graham bowed before Jory, much to Jory's surprise. "I need all the learnings, I can get." Said Graham. "Please Jory, accept me as your humble student." Graham bowed. Jory's cheeks went pink, but only slightly. Graham still bowed. Jory then grabbed him by the ear. "Ow." Said Graham. "You are a weird squire, boy." Said Marjory. "And it's Marjory." "Alright, J-Marjory." Replied Graham. "Alright then, I accept, but you have to do whatever I tell you, mister." Said Marjory. Graham was embarrassed. Marjory put her hand on her chin. "Alright then, what to teach you?" Said Marjory. Jory looked at Ibet the owl. "Analyze Ibet's wing and tell me any observations." Ordered Marjory. "Um, ok." Said Graham. Graham went down on one knee and analyzed the owl's wing. "Well, I can see you sued good leather, thin wood, very thin, like paper to bandage the wing, as well as small string." Said Graham. "And I think, is that tar?" "Correct, you seem good with observations." Said Marjory. "But I am a trained Boudican squire, of course, I can make observations, such are needed to win let's say a fight, especially against an armored Boudican opponent." Said Graham. "But you see an observation, is a key to retaining information, like reading text, that is a form of information in observation." Said Marjory. "Yeah, I know but I get headaches from reading, while I am at peace swinging my sword." Said Graham. Marjory flicked Graham's forehead. "Then drink tea or wear an ice pack." Said Marjory. "There is saying that practice makes perfect." Graham still analyzed the Owl. Marjory thought for a second. "Why does a squire wish for the knowledge of librarians?" asked Jory. Graham looked towards Jory to answer her question, but he was shocked to find her face so close to his. Graham fell back a bit. "Ugh!, you startled me, Marjory." Said Graham. Marjory sighed. "Are you going to answer my question or not, weirdo." Said Marjory. Graham laughed a bit. "Alright." Replied Graham. "But it is a long story, so sit down." As he was explaining his reasons to her, Graham remembered how he told Steward Andreas similarly of his reasons, he then thought back to it. He remembers the scene to a tea. "I guess, I can see where you are coming from." Replied Graham, in regard to Andreas's question on a leader for Democracy. Andreas stopped writing. "Graham." Said Andreas. "Y-yes, sir." Said Graham. "I have a daughter who is your age." Said Andreas. Graham stood attention, he never knew Andreas had a daughter, let alone seen her anywhere before, I mean what man would bring his daughter to his work? "During the war, my children were scattered, dead or missing, I don't know." Said Andreas. "My youngest daughter is all I have left; she is dear to me." "Where is he going with this?" thought Graham. "When you and she are of age, I wish to give her to you to wed." said Andreas. Graham was shocked. "B-bride, but sir, you strike me as the type to be strict with whom your daughters would end up with." Said Graham "Oh, I am strict, in that regard." Replied Andreas. "But you are an exception, you who desires to be a great hero." Graham felt having a betrothal would be good for him, after all, Andreas's daughter would be a commoner, so any children born would be named Grahams in last name. A betrothal might set a bar to prove himself worthy, in the art of smarts, however when Andreas mentioned Graham's dream of "heroism." Graham blanked. Why does he want to be a great hero, one as great as Naruto Uzumaki? "Well, sir." Said Graham. "To be honest, a great hero is one who is powerful, I saw it for myself, when I was younger, I was weak, during the war, I couldn't even fight, I was stuck in a burning house, the rebels lit on fire, I was worried I would die a terrible death, but then I was saved, I saw what someone with power can do, they have the power to save, someone with power isn't weak, however I also learned one does not have power through the sword, but the mind as well." Graham noticed Andreas eyed him suspiciously. "But I sir, I don't want power, just for power's sake, well at least not entirely, but to have powers to save others, as I was once saved." Said Graham. "And the power of knowledge and studies to define my reasons for why I fight." "No need to explain, all humans desire power of a kind." Said Andreas. "Your daughter?" asked Graham. "Is-is she smart?" "Oh, yes, quite smart, maybe too smart, she can be gentle, however she is sharp at tung at times." Said Andreas. Graham sighed with relief. "Then I accept." Said Graham. "I trust you, Steward." Andreas was surprised. "Wouldn't you want to meet first, before giving me an answer." Said Andreas. "Steward, you have been nothing but kind to me, you have helped me with studies and overcome my dyslexia, at least a little bit." Said Graham with a small smile. "The fact you ask and accept my reasons for self-improvement, means I trust you all the more." Andreas shook Graham's hand. "Then it is settled then." Said Andreas. https://preview.redd.it/xbdnj3gctl1d1.png?width=766&format=png&auto=webp&s=0d457feac2d843592c5f8dc053c85761639c3402 Meanwhile, Squire John Stewart led an escort with a cartmen, with Mary and her friends. "Mighty kind of you to escort us, Squire Stewart." Said the cartmen. "But why must you wear a helmet." "It is no problem." Lied Stewart. "It looks cool." Stewart was upset with Graham. He thought he would have alone time with Mary, but Graham tricked him. Mary was distracted talking with her friends in the back cart. Luckily, he had a helmet on because his face was fixed in a visibly angry look. The girls in cart were talking about whatever stuff that Stewart did not care about. Stewart then thought back to what he wanted when making cheer with Wallace and Graham. "I said I wanted the secrets of this world." Thought Stewart. Stewart thought more, what he said was a bit of an exaggeration. He when he was talking about secrets, he more or less meant like intriguing secrets like "Why are we here." "Why do things have such order to them, and yet pure chaos at times." Or his favorite question, "Why is there something, rather than nothing." A question by a philosopher. The answer to this question is "It is." Stewart wanted to think more about the questions, perhaps the mystery of said secrets make them more the enjoyable to interpret, then just given a straight answer. Then Stewart remembered what Wallace told him all that time back. "I must be focused, especially when I am on duty." Thought Stewart to himself. "Hey, Squire!" said one of Mary's friends. Stewart turned his head. "Yeah!" replied Stewart. "So, what did Wallace actually do during the battle, you know instead of fight?" asked the girl. "Martha!" protested Mary Graham. "Why must you ask a question." "He did fight!" said Stewart. "He slew many more bandits then either me or Graham." "Be honest, did he force you to say that." Said Martha. "I mean he is a scary monster right." "Nope." Replied Stewart. "I agree, Martha." Said another girl. "He is probably lying, after all it must be hard on this boy, having the traitor as a superior." Other girls nodded in agreement. "Enough, girls." Cried Mary. "We are here to enjoy the festival, not talk about negative things, do you really want to sour the mood." The girls looked at each other. "Well." Said Martha. "I guess you're right." "One thing before we stop talking, a word of advice." Said Stewart. "William Wallace is better person than all of you combined, and you would be wise to not hate him, rather forgive him like the Boudican Church has." The girl crossed her arms without after that. "Mr. Oneil, when do we get to the festival." Asked one of the girls to diffuse the situation. "Oh, just a little while." Said Oneil, embarrassed by the argument in the back. There was silence on the ride, Stewart was soured, but hid it under his helmet. However, for some reason, he felt a little relieved in his mind. |

https://preview.redd.it/5xxezh03pk1d1.jpg?width=512&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6f0e044fa3faffbeaf1617722ebf33e1f0ee4564 submitted by BestCake_Shop to Giftsdelivery [link] [comments] Navigating the sea of options when choosing the perfect gift for the women in your life can be daunting. Whether it's for a birthday, anniversary, or just to show your appreciation. Be it your mother, sister, partner, or friend, finding that special gift for her requires thought and a touch of creativity. This guide aims to lighten your load by offering handpicked gift ideas that are bound to put a smile on her face. Understanding Her Interests: A Key to Perfect GiftingThe secret to selecting the perfect gift for girls lies in understanding their interests and lifestyle. Do they love curling up with a good book, or are they more of an adventure enthusiast? Perhaps they’re a budding chef or a beauty guru. Observing their daily routine and listening to the hints they might drop about their likes and dislikes can be very insightful. For book lovers, consider a beautifully bound edition of their favourite novel or a subscription to a book club. If they thrive on adrenaline, a voucher for a skydiving jump or a zip-lining adventure could be just the thing. For those who find their zen in the kitchen, high-quality baking tools or a gourmet cooking class make splendid gifts. Pampering Her: Gifts That Offer RelaxationEvery woman deserves a little pampering. Gifts that encourage relaxation are always a hit. Think about what would help her unwind after a long day. A luxurious at-home spa kit complete with scented candles, essential oils, and herbal teas could offer her the perfect evening retreat. Alternatively, a plush bathrobe paired with comfy slippers can make her feel like she's at a spa every day.Another excellent idea is a subscription to a wellness service, such as a monthly massage or yoga class. These gifts not only show that you care about her well-being but also provide her with an escape from the daily grind. Fashion and Beauty Delights: Stylish Gifts She'll AdoreIf the lady in your life loves to keep up with the latest fashion trends, consider giving her something that will add a touch of glamour to her wardrobe. A chic scarf, a designer handbag, or a trendy jewellery piece can be just what she needs to enhance her outfits. Be sure to keep her personal style in mind when choosing these items to ensure they’re gifts that she’ll truly appreciate and use.For the beauty enthusiast, a high-end makeup kit or some luxury skincare products could be the ideal choice. These gifts not only indulge her but also give her the joy of experimenting with her look. Personalised Gifts: Adding a Touch of UniquenessPersonalised gifts hold a special place in everyone’s heart because they are thoughtful and unique. Customised jewellery, like a necklace with her initials, makes for a deeply personal and cherished gift. Personalised gifts are not limited to jewellery, though. Custom-made artwork, bespoke books, or even a personalised diary can make her feel truly special.Creating a gift that relates directly to her personality or commemorates a significant moment in her life shows that you value her uniqueness and the relationship you share. Tech Gadgets: For the Modern WomanThe latest gadgets can make fantastic gifts for the tech-savvy woman. Whether she’s into fitness, photography, music, or just loves staying up-to-date with technology, there’s something out there for her. A fitness tracker, a new set of high-quality headphones, or the latest smart home device can enhance her daily life and activities. When selecting technology gifts, consider how the gadget will fit into her lifestyle. The key is to choose something that’s not only trendy but also practical, something that she’ll find useful rather than overwhelming. A Gift of Experiences: Memories to Last a LifetimeSometimes, the best gifts aren't things but experiences. A ticket to a concert, a theatre show, or a reservation at a fine-dining restaurant offers her an experience to remember. If you're feeling adventurous, plan a surprise weekend getaway. These types of gifts are perfect for creating lasting memories together. When choosing an experience gift, think about what would delight her the most. Is she a foodie, a music lover, or perhaps a fan of the arts? Tailoring the experience to her interests will make it all the more meaningful. Choosing the perfect gift for her doesn't have to be a struggle. By paying attention to her interests and adding a personal touch, you can find something that she'll truly treasure. Whether it's a gift that pampers, a chic fashion addition, a personalised keepsake, the latest gadget, or a memorable experience, the key is thoughtfulness. Remember, the best gifts are those that come from the heart and show her just how much she means to you. Happy gifting! |

2024.05.20 11:49 guiltyofnothing “Are you the lion? Can you breed me, alpha daddy?” A user has their rent increased and posts their landlord’s contact information to /r/Renters. Reddit lurches into action.
I love how we are just taking the OP's word as truth, it's just as likely they did do $10k worth of damage Edit: when someone responds to you and then immediately blocks you it kind of illustrates that they know their point is weak at best.Is this all Biden’s fault?
Regardless, most landlords are scum.
Because they make you pay for the things you use?
Way too much, yes.
Just how much do you think the average landlord makes on a rental? I'm curious as to your thoughts, because I have actual numbers and I guarantee they are not nearly what you think.
Welcome to Biden America 🤣[Continued:]
You advocating for socialist housing policies? More renters protections? More tenants rights? Congrats man you’re more a socialist than I am.
Guaranteed he doesn't get it. XD
Nah. Obviously you morons don't get it. Probably don't own real estate either🤣. That's what happens when the country is becoming a third world country due to the far left policies of America today. I'm not saying how the guy went about raising rents went, but it's happening everywhere. But, come back and try again tomorrow. Maybe you'll be a little smarter when you wake up.
Wake up to what? The fact that presidents don’t dictate rent prices? Why does a studio apartment in Kalamazoo cost 1/5 what it does in Manhattan? Why did Biden decide that?
I didn't once mention the word president. I said the far left policies brought us to this point. So I see all you want to do is run your mouth, because you're blaming a president which I didn't do. Nice try though.OOP is condemned:
“Far left policies?” What specifically policies did the dems pass, that are considered “far left”, that cause landlords to raise rent prices more than inflation rates?
And you said “Biden America” so don’t play dumb now about not using the word President.
Hahaha, your low IQ is showing. I'm guessing 80 since you can spell, but that might just be a smartphone doing the heavy lifting.
Awe, did I trigger a snowflake? I see aim dealing with a keyboard warrior here, but would never say that to my face🤣. Get lost worm!
Doxing is wrong. OP this is shameful.Others defend the property manager:
Greed is wrong. Dox pieces of crap like this landlord more often any maybe then won't do shit like this.
Nah. It’s not only generally wrong it’s against reddits rules. It doesn’t matter what you think.
And no one CARES what YOU think about it. Go cry elsewhere
Doxxing isn't cool no matter the context bruh[…]
Yes it is
You’re lame
No it's not but that isn't doxxing.
You know this guy is just working a job to pay his bills too? A property manager isn't going to fully control rent prices and if he does price it they have a responsibility to their client (the owner) to charge the market rate.[Continued:]
While it's a shame that rent is increasing for OP, this company sent a fair warning advanced notice to either expect to pay up or find another living arrangement.
This guy did nothing wrong, didn't deserve for the Internet to white knight attack him, and you are an asshole.
ehhh,...bullshit!, the problem here is this Asshole is jacking up the rent %100, like everyone is made of money you complainer-motherfucker, greed= you get what you get, and the rents are way the fuck out of control just like everything else.
Sorry to break it to you that owners of investment properties aren't developing projects to shelter people out of the goodness of their hearts.
I'm not saying the system doesn't have flawed or isn't tough on people, but as a renter you need to face the reality that your rights to the property do not go further than the lease contract you signed.
Oh, they're doing it for profit? Real profound statement, dipshit.
Hey man go buy some homes and give people deals. Or keep crying online your whole life.
Yes, that’s how people make money. Stay broke lil bro
Yeah that was established by the OP genius. Most literate redditor right here, good lord lol[…]
Looks like I hit a nerve broke boy
yawn
as a human being with morals intact, maybe your responsibility is to the owner. You still owe it to the people who rely on you and your client (the owner) for housing to not raise rent 100x. Maybe it's legal, but it is absolute scumbag behavior. Maybe you aren't a scumbag, but you picked a career where they flourish[Continued:]
not raise rent 100x100x and 100% are completely different.
For all we know OP could have been locked into an extremely low rate on rent for the last ten years and this could be the first adjustment catching up to market rate. In a contract your only locked in for the length of the contract, and when that contract ends friendly reminder that you don't own the property nor have rights to it or in the future. Laws on rent increases vary based on area and there may not be anything illegal here.
While I wouldn't be happy if I was OP either due to the 100% increase being pretty significant, it's totally unreasonable to think you rent will never increase in the future.
Attacking a guy who had his personal info leaked on the Internet because you don't like the rental system is pretty pathetic behavior.
Simply put if you don't like renting go buy your own property where you don't have to deal with this.
Who the fuck is signing a 10 year lease for residential property?
Probably no one. Regardless your rights end with the lease expiration date in any circumstance.
There's something incredibly basic that goes over your head, along with people who argue like you.[Continued:]
Your entire strategy here is to enumerate descriptive truths (e.g your rights end at X point, property managers have a fiduciary responsibility to serve landlords, etc.) to imply normative ones (e.g therefore the behavior of the property manager or landlord is justified).
This isn't how ethics works. If it was, then the Holocaust would be justified. What the Jews did was illegal, they existed during the Nazi regime, which meant they had no right to life. That's a descriptively true fact, they literally lacked the right to life, and Nazis could engage in the exact same game you are playing, enumerating descriptive truths about the political reality of Germany in 1942 to justify rounding up Jewish people.
Descriptive and normative truths are built up the same way (through axioms and logic). However, the legality of something does not universally indicate how ethical something is.
If you want to continue playing the game of listing descriptive facts about the world, I have a fun one for you. The commodification of housing materially harms the working class, and has done so to such an extent that peasant revolutions within the past 100 years have literally rounded up landlords and shot them dead because of how much harm they were causing. This didn't require decades or centuries of anti-landlord rhetoric to dehumanize landlords, because the harm landlords cause is real and can be felt by people. Sometimes, when a large group of people are harmed enough, they get frustrated and revolt against said harm. That's a real risk landlords should realize they're engaging in, they tend to feel safe because the State backs the interests of the bourgeoisie, but that's not always necessarily going to be the case.
Thanks man I'm obviously going to rethink my stance that people shouldn't be doxxing this guy
You said a lot more than just an anti-doxxing stance. If all you said was "damn I wish this dude wanted doxxed", I wouldn't have bothered to comment. You mentioned a property manager's responsibility to serve the interests of the landlord. You mentioned your rights to the property ending with the expiration of the lease. These descriptively true facts were done to imply the landlord/property manager were behaving justly and didn't deserve to get doxxed.
Whether they deserve it or not, when one group consistently engages in harming another group, sometimes the other group fights back. The working class has very few avenues for actually fighting back against this sort of thing, and most of the tactics in this thread generally boil down to moderately annoying the landlord. They'll still evict the tenant, the tenant will still potentially become homeless because of housing commodification. The harm is still being done, and the landlord is benefitting from it.
Worse things have happened to landlords for engaging in this behavior, and they can happen again. It's not a game worth playing for anyone. It'd be best for everyone if landlords just fucked off and stopped scalping houses, but they won't. And peasants don't generally put up with this shit indefinitely.
Well damn man I wish that dude wasn't doxxed.
I appreciate the six paragraphs you wrote me and apologize if the economic model we have (that neither of us can change) has somehow hurt you today.
Yes, nobody can change economic models, yet they somehow change anyway, weird. It's almost as though the base-structure informs the super-structure, and as the contradictions of capitalism intensify, material harm skyrockets, people "radicalize" (see what used to be externalized costs actually internalized). Conversations are part of this change, the introduction of language and ideas allows people to navigate and reason about the harm they're feeling, and correctly place the blame, which is incredibly important.
If you look at the fascist movement in the U.S, you'll commonly see they actually agree on what's harming them (this is easy to tell). Rising prices (rent, groceries, etc.), shit pay, no control in decision making. However, they misunderstand the system.
People like you have baked capitalist realism into their heads (the system is immutable, this is the true way of the world, there's no reason to think or discuss an alternative because it's unreasonable), so they don't even consider that capitalism is the problem.
Instead they blame the Mexicans "not sending their best", or how LGBT communities are "attacking traditional values". They look for ways the world is changing, and assume that change is what's causing the harm they're feeling. You're an important part of the fascist pipeline, and even if you're not a fascist yourself, I'd suggest you get your head out of your ass before we literally live in a fascist dictatorship and this shit is illegal to discuss. Liberalism has many times devolved into fascism to prevent socialism. Bourgeoisie interests operate fine in fascist environments, so they'd prefer to move in that direction instead of something that actually fixes class contradictions.
Your right we should totally be cool with OP getting hundreds of redditors to harass this property managers personal life about an issue we all literally don't even know the full story of, because fascism.[Continued:]
Dude I'm going to stay out of this subreddit and genuinely wish you all well please try not to go postal next time rent increases.
At no point did I greenlight anyone's actions, and you responded to none of my points. Stop fabricating a strawman to justify your own position.
Hey man if you actually have the capacity to talk about what I'v been talking about the entire time I'll chat.
Please don't respond with anything about Hitler, bourgeoisie, fascism, economic disparity, or assumptions you have about me.
What do you think about OP getting hundreds of people to harass the personal life of this guy over something we all have limited info on a single side of the story. Justified or unjustified?
You discussed tenant rights, property manager responsibility, and even directly alluded to capitalist realism. It's an incredibly unfair tactic to mention all of these things, then the moment you get a rational response dismantling every one of your points, move the goalposts and back down from every point you've made in this entire thread except one.
Like everyone can scroll up and read, you're not fooling anyone into thinking your only point has been anti-doxxing. You just lack the capacity to have a genuine conversation, so you'll simply retreat from every point you've made instead of considering that maybe you were wrong.
I think what the OP is doing is harmful, but not as harmful as what the landlord did. I don't have enough information to say if it was justified or not, and neither do you. Sometimes harmful things can be done and they can be justified, especially in retaliation. I can list off a ton of extreme examples that are potentially justified but far more harmful than what either of these people are doing.
Well at least we agree what OP is doing is harmful.
Now I guess we need to ask should we or should we not harass real life people based on unverifiable stories from anonymous people online?
Sorry if you didn't like how I laid it all out. But i think not liking the realities of the rental systems isn't good enough justification to get hundreds of people to harass someone over what could potentially be a fabricated story, but that's just me.
Most reasonable diamond hands jokerIs a rent increase ever justified?
You said you were leaving.
Fuck apartment complexes! They raise it for zero reason and have no idea what they’re doing.”Rentoid”:
No reason, like higher taxes, higher demand, higher insurance rates, higher trash fees, higher utilities, on and on.
Tell me you don't pay your own bills, without telling me you don't pay your own bills.
Maybe these cooperate assholes should pay their own bills
They do.
Hahaha you’re trying to sell airbnb management and consultation, dude go read the book of matthew and become a better human.
Ah yes, doxxing. Classy 👌[…]
found the wannabe landlord
like ahh, yes, let’s be offended that the exploiter might face consequences for their actions
lol
Yea what do you expect from a rentoid sub lmao
tf is a rentoid what 😭
A term for renters used by toxic landlords and homeowners that believe themselves superior to people who rent.
they've got bootlicking down to a science i tell ya
No not really. Everyone in this sub admitting they are calling and texting him and harassing him online need to be more careful. And grow tf up
This guy deepthroats the whole boot
Child response. I'm sorry you willfully signed your lease and no one forced you too. Grow up
Haha 🤣 if I cared what you thought I’d ask how the shoe polish tastes. It’s honestly not even doxxing. That’s a letter they sent, with facts they provided, and a public number to be contacted at. Op is under no obligation to protect the management company from their own stupidity.
So we’re just taking OP’s word that this actually happened? And the phone number on that letter is really his landlord? The low IQ Reddit mob mentality at its finest.[Continued:]
Google is your friend
I too can write a bullshit letter, stick a business’s phone number, screencap it and karma farm on Reddit. Unlike OP I’m not an idiot.
Sounds like you wrote the letter, mate.
You are making me rather confident in the assumption
I can tell you blindly accept whatever OP posts on Reddit. Easily manipulated.[…]
What are you talking about lol. Why are you so angry at a box of lights. Go to bed, or at least take a nap.
Same to you buddy. I’m baffled why you’re getting active over me calling out the truth.
Bro chill[…]
The lack of critical thinking on this sub is mind blowing.
It’s not about critical thinking, it’s about sending a message.
Sending a message on the premise that OP is being honest? If OP put your phone number there I bet you’d be singing a different tune.
Google the number. It belongs to that businessIs this all doxxing?
So we’re assuming the landlord wrote that letter? If you look at their properties nothing even comes close to the rents OP is claiming.
I think OP has successfully trolled you and a hundred other people.
Subreddits get shut down for this tho.
Oh man so you sent the landlord specific information about the person who posted it… so now he can go after them legally for “doxxing” him? 😬🫠🤔 who’s side are you on lol[Continued:]
Sharing a document you are a party to online that isn’t under NDA isn’t doxxing. OP didn’t ask Reddit to harass the landlord in the original thread. There’s nothing here to worry about since he’s not renewing his lease there.
Unless the landlord is in the….mob
OP said (in the text): "I felt comfortable enough to share this man(s) information because he's a scumbag piece of shit"
As any lawyer would tell you, intent matters, esp. in civil cases. -or- more pragmatically as any competent lawyer would tell you, if you're sweating $1k/month in rent, don't bank on legal technicalities to save the day when intentionally picking fights with entities with the capital to buy buildings.
The number is publicly available, you could literally say "please say nasty things to this number" and it would still be completely legal and any claim against it would be immediately laughed out of court.
I don’t know why you keep posting stuff similar to this. The behavior that you’re stating is completely legal is 100% not legal in Pennsylvania, where the area code for the number comes back to.
Harrassment is not legal behavior. And (3) engages in a course of conduct or repeatedly commits acts which serve no legitimate purpose, is language that could be used to define what’s going on here. It could also qualify under 4, 5, and 6.
Others upbraid people for ruining OOP’s life:The behavior that you’re stating is completely legal is 100% not legal in Pennsylvania, where the area code for the number comes back to.No lol.
Harrassment is not legal behavior. And (3) engages in a course of conduct or repeatedly commits acts which serve no legitimate purpose, is language that could be used to define what’s going on here. It could also qualify under 4, 5, and 6.Read the definition you just posted lol, OP did not do anything remotely quantifiable as harassment, he just posted the publicly available number, if OP is spamming offensive messages or something to the landlord sure but that is categorically not what is visible here. Further a customer complaint and warning is a legitimate purpose and is well established as protected speech thousands of times over. Unless you knowingly lie in a review you are protected completely. "This company sucks don't rent from them and here is their publicly available contact info" is completely indisputably first amendment protected speech everywhere in the US.
It is extremely funny that you would post evidence of yourself being wrong.
People have been calling and texting the number and some even stated that their calls and texts have been answered. The person who is answering is apparently the ownelandlord. That person is being harassed. Look at the comments describing what people are sending him. Pictures of their asses and random shit talk. That does not count as a customer review or a complaint.
All of that communication has been facilitated through the OP, who also stated that they intentionally left the contact information because they believe the landlord is an asshole.
Maybe stick to legal issues in Australia instead of trying to incorrectly educate Americans about our first amendment. Freedom of speech is not freedom to blow up someone’s phone because you don’t agree with their business practices. Even if they are unethical and shitty.
Congrats on fucking up OPs life even worse. Hope you step on a lego and learn to not text random numbers and step into a situation you were never a part of.Attacks become misogynistic:
hands you a box of tissue
What do you mean?
By texting the number, it could be considered outing the OOP for Doxxing which is illegal.
OOP could potentially be in legal trouble now because they forgot to edit out the contact information and posted it and people decided to text the number.
As a woman, I’d never be ok with you doing this unsolicited to anyone. But I’m having a really hard time having an issue with this landlord asshole looking at your asshole. 🤷🏻♀️
As a woman, you should be in the kitchen.
Aww, bless your heart. I know it’s hard, but just know, that with an attitude like that, you’ll die alone because no woman will want you. But, you already know that 💕💕 here’s hoping you learn to have a personality beyond misogyny before it’s too late!
He hasn’t had pussy since it had him. No worries there.
God you're limp.

class PurchaseItem(models.Model): ... discount = models.JSONField(null=True, blank=True)Where the object can be something like:
{ "code" : "SUMMERSALE", "discount_percent": 40, "discount_amount": 25.38 }B) CREATE SOME SORT OF VERSIONING SYSTEM
class PurchaseItem(models.Model): ... discount = models.ForeignKey(Discount, null=True, blank=True)Has someone implemented something similar? What method do you think would be best in this case?

I own a small business and Shopify has been holding my payments. REFUSES to explain why apologizes and says that someone will reach out- but no one ever does. Deleting this post shows that Shopify is complicit in this behavior- trying to keep us from solving a problem they created. BELOW IS THE POST THAT HAS BEEN DELETED OVER 83 TIMES: Our money has been withheld also. Just like yours Shopify REFUSES to deliver a response- of any kind towards clarity or a resolution (EFTA15 U.S. Code § 1693 et seq.E).
