Hi Everyone! I am looking for any advice/input on a persistent, and extremely frustrating, knee issue I’ve been dealing with for about six months now. For reference I’m 21 years old. So, after a run six months ago I started having inner knee pain (on both knees) and they felt stiff and unstable 24/7. I went to an orthopedic after a couple weeks who said it was patellar tendinitis and would go away on its own. Well it didn’t go away and I started PT who said it’s probably a patellar tracking issue. I did PT for eight weeks (2x week) and the weakness and unstable feeling went away, for the most part. However, the sharp pain on the medial knee, right underneath my patella, persists on occasion. Additionally, my knees ache horribly after sitting down for any longer than 30 minutes, they constantly crack upon flexing and extending, and I still can not comfortably squat, lunge, jump, or run. I went to another ortho who said it was patellofemoral pain syndrome (PFPS). I have also developed new issues from this- pain below my knees on the medial side (I think it’s my pes anserine bursa) AND a stabbing pain in my left outer hip that radiates down my leg when walking and kicking backwards. The hip pain usually goes away after doing a quad stretch and leaning forward towards the other side of my body as it stretches the outer hip and it also feels better after walking for a few minutes. Stretching Lin a pigeon pose or cross cross apple sauce aggregate it. It’s hard because most exercise for PFPS focus on hamstrings and hips but a lot of these hurt my bursa and hip now. I have religiously done PT exercises for the past 4 months and avoided high impact activity . I have also stretched hamstrings, quads, and calfs daily. However my pain is largely limiting my life as I can’t sit down without pain and can’t exercise how I used to. I am getting really down about it losing hope. So, here are my questions:
-Is there a specific tracking issue that would cause medial knee pain only when applying pressure to knee?
-Is it possible to make a full recovery from PFPS? Even after it’s been a long term problem?
-anyone know of another issue that would cause sudden knee stiffness and pain, in both knees, without blatant injury (X-ray showed up normal, haven’t gotten MRI)?
-would losing weight help alleviate the problem ( my bmi is 23.5 but two years ago it was 20.5).
-what could be the cause of my hip pain, is it related to my knees, and are there specific exercises to help?

Hi folks. I (M 40+) have suffered from chronic low back pain on and off since my teen years, but really got worse in the last 10 years.
Have done tons of physical therapy which helps for the most part. I maintain exercises and stretches at home as well.
I go snowboarding hard, and have no issues. I recently started a new circuit based strength training class (only free weights and body weight), and no issues (at least nothing that I felt in class or right after).
I am making sandwich for the kids and suddenly I feel the back. Gets inflamed and I know it will be bad. A couple of days with a lot of pain, starts improving, and a week or 2 to feel better. This is just the most recent case. Usually happens with the most mundane activities. I get acute pain a few times a year and have to nurse it (OTC pain medication, stretches, heat) back over the course of a few weeks.
From an MRI a few years ago: L4-L5: Mild disc bulge, facet arthropathy. Mild bilateral neuroforaminal stenosis. No central canal stenosis. L5-S1: Facet arthropathy. No neuroforaminal or central canal stenosis.
There is gotta be something else I can try. I am desperate. Not only hurts a lot each time, but I can't help much around the house, be productive at work, it's depressing.
Has anyone seen success with cortisone shots or stem cell treatment?
I used to have chronic knee problems, tons of PT over several years and it would always come back. One day, one cortisone shot, some more PT, and never had the problem again.

I've dated my boyfriend for 3 years. We lived together, we went through so much together. it wasn't just a relationship, he was like family to me. I broke up with him during our second year due to me finding him flirting with a girl at a bar. Then he ended up begging me to take him back; he said how I'm the woman of his life and how we have such bond and connection. I'll admit, yes, he was the love of my life and vice versa. I don't feel like I'll love anyone else in my life as much as I loved him, because our love was so pure; my love for him was, and still is unconditional. It's hard to put into words but it just feels like our inner childs connect and we share so much with each other. We know everything about each other and that always brought me a sense of comfort. I ended up taking him back because I didn't want to make such big deal out of just flirting for female validation.
However, it always felt like he wanted the best of both worlds. He wanted to have me committed to him, staying at home, have no male friends, while he could just get out to bars and even not text me sometimes for the whole night. I gave a lot of what he did to his age at the time, he was 21-22.
After putting the puzzle together though, I realized that he was and is super insecure. He wanted constant validation from family, friends, me, and apparently other females to keep going and pushing. He never really liked his body while liking his overall stylish look. But never with his body underneath. The interesting part is, he didn't really workout and he would put junk food into his body and then internally cry about the results not being there, since he is not his 17 year old self who burned so many calories naturally without having to do anything. I would encourage him to come to the gym with me and he did at times, but he was always grumpy when a topic about working out was being talked about.
He also had an avoidant attachment style. He would run away if there was a need of emotional vulnerability. I believe that's how he coped with things when his parents got a divorce; he was only 6.
Anyways, after taking him back, I went to my home country and he came to visit in between my visit to get a good taste of where I grew up in. (it was his first time visiting overseas.) We had a blast time. I stayed longer so he came back and was by himself, mainly with his friends. I didn't question him much when i was there because I wanted to give him space while I took mine, we were in touch though, just not as regularly.
I got back, he picked me up from the airport and had something going on with him. He did not seem happy to see me. Long story short, he broke up with me for bullshit reasons and I couldn't just let him go because it was very unexpected and unbelievable. I saw him multiple times and in all of those conversations, he was so cold. Cold to a point where I questioned who I was dating. And on my last conversation, he admitted that he cheated on me when I was back home.
I didn't say much, I was disgusted. I let him go. 7 months after no-contact, he texted me to give me my stuff back. I sent someone to take them and they came back with a letter from him...
You can probably imagine what the letter says. It was three pages long, majority of what he addressed was a loving goodbye while confessing his love over and over again. He addressed how much he regrets this betrayal and how he is aware of him being a broken person who needs therapy.
3 weeks after receiving his letter, I decided to see him in person to give this an end fully. I didn't want any more love letters or anything, I was logically done and I had to see him because I gradually got worse as the days went by. As soon as I saw him, I melted. I noticed how much I was sick of trying to move on and date other people. I missed our connection, love, affection, and our lovey-dovey times. I missed him so much to a point where I forgot where I was or what time it was, I never wanted to leave or give it an end right there. He also have lost the 20 pounds he was upset over for years.
Now, I have been talking to him for 3 weeks or so. He's been showing the commitment and consistency towards his own workout routine and healthy eating. He said things like, " I told you so many times before that I felt like I didn't deserve you, but now I feel like I do." "I will show you through my actions, just wait and see. Give me a chance to just be in your life." "I love my body now and I only need your validation to feel handsome, you are the one."
He cried so many times for hours and I have never seen him as emotionally vulnerable and open. He really seems like he wants to work on himself and his overall health. (In all aspects.) He really has been showing so far how much he wants to change his life for the better and for himself, not just for me. it doesn't feel like it's only for me because I saw him not committing to his routine one time and it kills him mentally, he needs to be on track with the promises he makes to himself, it seems.
He recently moved to another state, for the sake of growth and him wanting to get out of his hometown. I don't know what that will bring, but I'm trying to do my own thing. He talks to me like how we used to talk and I don't know how to find the balance because he was the most important person in my life for a long time.
I have hope for him, I want him to be happy regardless. But I'm so confused. I feel betrayed every time i'm not with him. When I'm with him, he is my person. But when I come home or we're apart for couple days, I think of everything and just get disgusted.
I feel emotionally weak right now so if and/or when I make a logical decision of letting him go for the better, it stabs me mentally and I feel like I'm dying, so I know I'll be crawling back to him and that'd be even more embarrassing. Also, letting go of him seems hard because I am almost so sure that I won't be able to fall in love with someone as much as I fell in love with him. I'm not saying that I won't at all, but I just know internally that I won't love someone else as deeply and unconditionally. We have so many memories together and I feel like he is my family. Our physical attraction is so on point. I know he didn't do this because of me or the relationship because I think it was beautiful and every problem could be solved if we just talked.
Other option is to stay with him to let him prove everything to me and see if I want to be in a relationship with him again, but in that case, will I respect myself? Will I actually forgive him for what he did and everything he put me through? Can I ever build that trust with him again? Will he actually develop himself and grow for himself? Am I willing to take the risk of him cheating on me again? Will I be happy with him, knowing what he did to me? (I feel like if he did it again, it'd be easier to move on, but what do I know.)
This is also a topic of morals, ethics, and values aligning or not in a relationship. I would just never cheat on someone simply because that's not within my character and I never even thought of it as an option due to my ethics, morals, and values. But obviously, that's not the case for him.
Would I rather take the risk of moving on with my life, letting this love go and potentially compare every new person or relationship to my connection with him, or would I rather go down on a path where I might never feel that safety and loyalty from him and also live with the thought of accepting such behavior that my morals are so against towards.
There is also another flip side to the coin where, everyone has the capability of cheating and I know there are 7.9999 billion people who didn't do that to me yet, but can this be forgiven for the sake of this unknown phenomenon that applies to everyone else also?
This a battle of my logic and my heart. One thing I wrote is "Is it worth to let go of love, for the sake of self-respect?"
Is once a cheater always a cheater?

I was diagnosed stage 3 NSC Lung cancer almost four years ago (36 yo male). Family situation was/is My dad lives here in Ohio and so does my brother (34) . My sister (38) lives in Chicago. My mom lives in Florida it comes up here for the summers. I was always close with my family and coworkers before I was diagnosed. I had that overwhelming wave of support you get when everyone you know finds out your cancer. It was all phone calls, texts, and emails for the most part. My diagnosis wasn’t the best as the cancer had spread to my adrenal gland and lymph nodes. My dad really stepped up and he was my rock. I’m lucky I had him during that time. He drove me to chemo the first couple of treatments and sat in on the dr appointments as a second ear. I was going to be doing 5 rounds of chemo every three weeks and immunotherapy for 12. The chemo killed the tumor so they cut out the upper lobe of my right lung. Immunotherapy wasn’t great but I got through it.
I was incredibly happy that I survived it all and got back to work. However some things really bothered me such as my mom never came back home during my chemo. She came home for my lobectomy in November 2020 and visited me in the hospital and held my hand like I was her baby boy again when they removed all the breathing , catheters, and drainage tubes. When I got home I noticed phone calls and texts weren’t coming in. It also bothered me that my sister never came to see me and she’s about four hours away but not four days. My brother was in town and only came once during the year of treatment.
Another thing that bothered me is none of my coworkers would call or text during my time off. I really worried when I got a letter from my employer of ten years that I was terminated. It was a really tough time and I was on so much medication and my whole routine was sitting on the couch and watching YouTube. I slowly descended into a very dark place and became scared of going in public places because I thought people were staring at me because I looked so sickly and dying. My bank account was getting down to nothing and I asked for my old position back and luckily they hired me again. It was excruciatingly difficult physically and emotionally to sell cars that hot summer of 2021. I had heat stroke three months of being back and thought I was done. I was really sick and weak. I was miserable with so many things. When I did see my family I’m sure that attitude wore off and I soon was getting comments that I was too negative.
My kids mom hates me and was in cancer research and sent me this factoid sheet from the American Cancer Association that said my five year survival odds were 3%. She said I was wasting my time I had left. She fueled my fire to live just to prove her wrong but at this point my kid wanted me to die because he thought he’d get lots of life insurance money. Then I had to take custody unexpectedly of that same kid who wanted nothing to do with me. I was barely selling enough cars to keep my job and now had to take care of and raise a 13 year old with angst. That’s when my family truly disappeared and I think it’s because they’re worried my cancer would cone back then they’d have to care for my kid.
Fast forward to now and my son is reunited with his mom. His and my relationship has never been better after getting to spend 16 months living together. My health is I’m still alive obviously but my lungs are getting much weaker and my volume is shrinking and i also originally diagnosed late stage copd and have to take steroids to help me breathe. So my health is back on the downslope and my family is completely gone. My dad never calls or talks to me, and neither do my brother or sister. I see my mom once every couple of months when she’s home from Florida . We’ll go to Cracker Barrel and she’ll give me this half disgusted look and I get about 45 minutes of her time
I’m just sad that they’re gone but realized they’re kind of not the best family so I might be better. I truly believe they were looking at my custody and health situation as a hot potato so they all ran for the hills. Now with my breathing is getting more and more along with seizures it’s difficult and it’s real I’m going to die young and possibly soon. it’s really effecting my memory and stamina. I get confused and need naps. Its sometimes an insurmountable task for me to go greet a customer on the lot and begin the five hour process of selling a car and getting dirty looks from customers because I look like shit because well Ive been through some stuff. My sales are failing and they want me gone. I need health insurance and what little money I do make to support my son. Im worried all this financial, parental, and physical stress is going to bring back my cancer just because im stressed and just feel hopeless. I think of how I’ll die from COPD and how horrifying it seems did that way. With my family gone and my coworkers wanting me gone I know it will be alone or at a state hospital with some hospice nurse I have no clue is. I don’t look for your pity but I’d like any advice you might have to how I can find solace in this lonely isolated place I’m trapped in. I’m angry at my family but I love them.I feel like I was supposed to die and even though I didn’t die then physically I died to them mentally. Maybe it’s too tough to watch someone you love struggle and know you’ll have to do it again
The only thing besides spending time with my son that really makes me happy is painting. During all of this I somehow found out I love to paint and since a June 2022 I’ve painted a couple of hundred paintings. Painting gives me hope.

"Just wait, how lon…" Zantol started to say as a firm click was heard as Pir-4 pressed the button. In the following moment the entire ship shuddered as all power was lost. Moments later a deep drone could be felt.
"That shouldn't have taken so long to start," Dave remarked as all the screens and consoles lit back up, as the drone to fade away. Looking around dozens of new indicator lights and alarms were screaming across the cockpit, "Well that might be it, uhh…" Dave looked to Zanthol who was shocked at what just happened, and Pir-4 now floating stilly above the radio consul, "Zanthol please tell me that this is normal and that Pir is alright"
Zanthol taking moments to understand what happened, what all the new lights are for, and moments wonder what just happened.
“Wha…, what was that."
"Well, uh, that, was the distress call," Pausing for a moment to point at Pir-4 and to mute the alarms, "will he be ok?"
"Probably, but it is impossible to know without looking in his head"
"Why aren't you concerned? I mean, he could have just died."
"Why would I, it's just a machine, and all the data can be recovered."
Taking a deep breath, Dave considered the words that he just heard, "Zanthol? How do you classify a being as sentient?"
"We have a system, how do you classify things as sentient? If I know what you would use, then it would be easier for me to explain."
"I don't necessarily see why this is important, but the way that we had done this is though test, like the Turing test, have a judge have a conversation with a known sentient being and the one being tested. Another is to test the being's creativity, or even just comparing how close to the human brain the being's brain is."
"Those are all good way to determine if a being is sentient, but the reason that Pir was created was to get one step closer to win a galactic history changing prize, and I shouldn't tell you this, but humanity will find out regardless. This prize is from an automated system from nearly a million years ago, it was to autonomously scout and lightly terraform planets for life as it knows, and through, probably a problem with the replication program, it became sapient and though many more years it came to where it is now. Just barely sentient, enough for it to want to be a part of the community, and so the machine tried, until it came to the conclusion that it wasn't sentient enough to fit in," Sighing Zanthol took a deep breath and pointed to Pir-4, "It stopped sharing the planets it has visited, demanding that we make it fully sentient, to the point of the average sentient being, like you and me. To do so it made a prize, bring it a artificial being of synthetic mind that it deems as sentient. it has been almost 43,323 years by your calendar since the start of the competition."
"So you don't consider Pir a sentient being because a machine doesn't. That doesn't make sense, just because it doesn't shouldn't mean that you don't. Humanity has had less time free to think of what makes you, you. Because I think and therefore I am, should suffice for treating other being as sentient…"
Dave was cut off by the radio cracking back to life, "YOU, we do░▓░k▒w what yo░▒id bu░ we will have your he▒▓!" Just as abruptly it started it cut back out.
"They sound mad, as much as I would like to continue to argue, there are more concerning matters at the moment," Dave said as he took hold of the control sticks, with a lurch the ship once again started to move, "Since I don't like the silence I'll explain some things to you, this left stick moves the ship in x,y,z movement, or front, back, up, down, left, and right. The right stick adjusts the rotation," Dave gives both of the sticks a wiggle, causing the whole ship to shudder.
Zanthol, pulled Pir-4's helmet off, he started to check what happened to Pir-4. Looking to Dave again he sees him reach out slips on large gloves over his atmo-suit's gloves, once these are properly around his already gloved hands they constrict around them to now sit tightly around his hands. Then with a simple his the compartment filled with a thin fog, curiously Zanthol asked, "Is something wrong, and what's with the fog?"
"Take a look out the view screen, were getting close to your ship, but its getting hard to tell the distance without looking at the readout. So to get around that this ship uses a suite of holograms that are constructed by little low power lasers, and theses holograms use the cameras and computers to make a three dimensional representation of the environment."
"So why the haze?"
"It's so the lasers can be seen." as Dave talked, holograms of Zanthol's ship the Prospector's Pick, Helum station, and the various pirate vessels, leaving all that can't be seen by the cameras are blank. Reaching out with his gloved hands Dave grabbed the holograms of the Prospector's Pick and Zanthol's ship, strangely his hands didn't just pass through the holograms. Already anticipating the coming question Dave said, "The gloves that I just put on have a pneumatic force feed back system, strong enough to resist my movements, but not so much it can hurt me. If I move my hand though any of them it will respond as if it were an object floating in space that I just smacked. The system will interpret how the I move the holograms and do its best to replicate it in real life," Dave said, as he pushed the Prospector's Pick closer to Zanthol's ship. Zanthol could feel the ship accelerate toward his ship, "So, this makes it more intuitive for a human to operate this ship."
"Ok, so what are you doing now, are you going to get us out of here?"
"Well you said that, one all of Pir's spare parts are on your ship and that you have very classified things on it. Wouldn't it be a good idea to get it all before running?"
*Beep*
Looking at the consul a gauge was flashing.
"What's that?"
"That would be a temperate gauge, and uh it says that the hull is heating up. That shouldn't be happening,"
Thinking back Zanthol remembered how the pirates breached the air-lock realized what was causing the heating, "Dave, I think it maybe the pirates, to cut open the station like that," he points at the air-lock, "to cut through it as quickly as they did, they would have to have a weapons grade laser. We probably have only a minute before it starts cutting through the hull if you can keep them from focusing on the same spot."
"Ok, that shouldn't be too hard to mitigate," with a simple twist of the wrist Dave put the ship into a gentle spin, "That should do for now. Where is a good spot for a tow cable to be put on your ship?"
"I can already feel the rising temperature rising, and it's only getting faster. If you can't do anything about it then we're probably dead."
The gauge, now entering the red, "I hear you, and I'll handle this," Dave replied turning his ship to face the pirates, "Do you know why Tungsten Carbide is such a good marital for machine tools?"
Starting to send the ship into the pirates, "It's because it harder then almost all other mettles, and do you know where the largest single piece of Tungsten Carbide is? Well, its on this ship, initially meant to skewer asteroids, but we'll see how good it is at skewering ships, and it better be, or else," sighing, Dave continued, "We're probably dead."
"That sounds insane, but probably the only thing that we can do, and even then, there are still three other in the fleet."
Suddenly, static filed the coms gradually coming clearer until a human voice could be heard, "Prospector's Pick, hold tight, help is on the way, this is the Barnard's star Battle group B3, ETA 3 minutes. just hold tight, help is on the way."
By this moment Dave's ship was careening toward the pirates, the temperature sky rocketing. The ship struggling to cool it self with the radiators turning a dull red with the heat their absorbing, struggling to dissipate the building heat.
With a, shearing, screeching, screaming, sound the spike tore into the pirate ship.
"Woooooooooooooowoh!! HELL YEAH! That will never get old no mater what the target is." Dave said with a brimming smile. "Now its getting hot in here, so I'll also show you how we cool our ships in emergencies." pressing a combination of buttons on the the consul, a hiss of cool air filled the cockpit. The hologram also showed the radiators unlatch and start floating away from the ship.
"Dave why are you jettisoning the radiators, they're needed to cool the ship."
"Yes, but that's part of the design that someone else made, and was much smarter then I am. Its going to be replaced with spares."
One of the rows of boxes moved to the place that the radiators once were, and proceeded to unfold and turn into new radiators, with this the temperature gauge visibly and quickly dropped back down to it's regular position, and the new radiators already starting to show their thermal saturation. Then the screens flashed a notification…

This started to become more disconnected and scattered toward the end, but I was just having a hard time finding a way to connect it all. I also wanted to make each chapter a bit longer, so that's why this took so long, and in all fairness I don't think I'll be writing them to be so long its just not what I'm good with.
It has almost been half a year since I randomly thought of the idea for this at a new years party, anyways here's a fun fact, I am horrible at coming up with names, so to mitigate this I have turned to use the Periotic table and names of chemicals (and/or overly common names). The most obvious of them are Dave's last name Coper most clearly a slight mis spelling of Copper, Helum Station is just a variation of Helium, (spoiler regarding Pir-4)and Pir is a mis spelled abbreviation of Periotic and 4 corresponds to Beryllium the main component in his computers and meant to reference how hard for the researchers to make a body compatible with a inorganic brain, and to my knowledge Beryllium is wildly deadly and destructive to carbon based organic chemistry.

The individual screw for my Avalon gen 2 rifle's selector's switch was loose so I tried tightening the screw that held the metal piece of the external selector switch to the body of the gun but instead of tightening it just got looser even though I was tightening to the right and It just fell off and when I tried to put it back on it just doesn't tighten. Can anyone help me or has the same problem?

ok lemme start off by saying: yes i do shower daily (every 3 days bc i have curly hair n that shit does not dry quick) and no i do not have diabetes, pre-diabetes, some hybrid of diabetes, or even an unknown type of diabetes. i can confirm this wholeheartedly bc i recently got my blood taken. i weigh 220lbs. im just fat. i dont want this to be taken as like this might be a health concern regarding weight or being asked if maybe im just not being very clean. i mean it may be that idk but it would put my mind at ease if it wasnt related to those.
anyways i really do not know what happened to my body. i feel like im going through puberty again. the sweat problem has been there for idk 3 or more years and its actually kinda weird that i never got that checked out. i should actually.
the sweat problem is basically what is sounds like: i sweat a lot. the kicker is that it has to be winter-cold or november-chilly at most for me to feel like im not burning under the sun on the beach. its so weird because even in 70F degrees weather, i will start feeling kinda warm and start sweating.
at some point, i stopped wearing all types of clothes that are meant to keep people warm from the cold. last two winters, i was seen in a oversized Tshirt and short-shorts + a thin zip up hoodie just in case i got cold. pretty sure it snowed too.
even when now, in may, when its kinda windy where i live, my house feels so hot im actually melting. im locked in my room with a good, strong fan pointed at me, almost at max air.
summer is absolute hell. im on my bed in agony bc of how hot i feel and my sheets are drenched in sweat. (pray for me this summer btw i might be forced to go on a family trip to the beach and idk if ill make it out alive)
also the fact im weirdly always dehydrated?? im probably not because i drink so much water i practically have a collection of empty water bottles scattered in a corner but im just really thirsty all the time so theres also that.
and now something NEW happened to my body that i absolutely hate. my armpits started to stink. okay it doesnt sound bad but hear me out. with how much i sweat, i dont actually smell bad. i dont actually go out anymore i guess?? because i have no reason to nowadays so the only time i put on deodorant is after my shower and leave it as that. well, i put it on when i go out and carry a small one in my bag too so theres also that.
this is just flatout nasty. i woke up one day and it reeked. i didnt even do anything like i was at home the whole time. it was so embarrassing bc my dad talked to me about it, so did my mom, and i could smell it without sniffing myself. i had to book an appointment with my primary care doctor bc this did not seem (smell lol) normal.
armpit yeast??? infection???? honestly idk but i was prescribed this powder that i had to put on every 6 hours. kinda helped but its still there just not as strong anymore.

Went out on a limb and managed to get Charlie! Huzzah! Now then, I'm planning to go all out and get Summer Skadi so I can boost my quick servants and Charlie has arrived ripe and ready for that boost.
My only problem is that I'm torn on whether to risk it for NP2, I have most of the meta supports (Castoria NP3, Oberon, Koyan, Merlin & Waver NP1) and want to know if with them and double Summer Skadi supporting him, will he be able to loop comfortably? I don't expect him to be able to handle 90++ nodes or anything crazy, but on class advantage nodes and farming will he be able to make it work? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

What I have a problem with in my female body only is my breasts. Im not too worried abt them at the moment, but in the future I would want to get surgery to reduce them or vet them removed, but...
Will that affect anything like legally(?) Or socially? As in on official documents or something. Because I want top surgery but not bottom surgery, I'd be like partially female biologically partially male (by society's standards) or will i be considered of female sex juat without breasts?
What im worried about is official documents and possible dangers of being trans in the future in lovely transphobic America. Im not sure how all that official stuff would work or even how the whole surgery process works because I'm hardly familiar with anything regarding doctors in the first place.

Hi there, first I’ll just say that I’ve talked to my doctors and surgeons about this and am now looking for anecdotal info from you, the IIH genpop.
I had my programmable VP shunt placed at the end of March. For the most part things have been perfect since. Headache was my primary symptom and it is completely gone.
HOWEVER.
I (29, AFAB) have incredibly bad pelvic pain from the tubing. If I do anything involving my abs, I will feel it later if not immediately. The pain is sharp and ranges from low pelvis (WAY below belly button) into my hoo-ha. It has gotten slightly less awful in the 1.5 months since surgery.
Neurosurgeon noted that the general surgeon (who handled the tubing) did have problems placing it, but I’m not sure what kind of problems.
Imaging (CT) shows that the tubing is placed correctly. I’ve been assured that this can happen and is unpredictable since it depends on your body’s sensitivity, but that it usually improves with time.
Just curious whether anyone else has had this problem and what, if anything, helped.
Also if anyone is scientifically minded and can explain how this pain is caused, it would help me to understand how something running from my skull to my stomach is causing pain so low in my pelvis.

I have recently updated to SDK51 and many problems arise in my code. My recent problem is that after several failure to load my app after 'npm start' (which functioned totally very before my update to SDK51), I tried "npm install" and then "npm start". The the following was shown in the log:

My Life's Journey: Overcoming Challenges

Introduction

My whole life, I've been rejected. People don't see my potential. I've wasted a lot of time in my life. Currently, I have only 40 euros in my bank account. This is one of my darkest moments. Please don't pity me. It's not the fault of others; it's my fault. I make poor decisions every day, and now I am facing the consequences. Sitting in the dark, isolated, without money, I don't enjoy life. But what I have are books and education. Last week, I had only 10 euros in my account. I felt stressed all over my body; I was spending the last 10 euros in the supermarket on basic needs. Not having enough money is horrible, but it is not the end.

Books and Education

Some books about money and teaching yourself to disconnect from everything have helped me enormously. I've learned that stress is an illusion of fear and uncertainty. I've taught myself to be unattached from many things. Consider this: if you love your mother too much, the blow of her death will be too much, making you never function again. So, love your mother, father, etc., but not too much. Do fun things with them, but remember, the circle of life means it comes and goes. Similarly, with money—when I had only 10 euros, I was stressed. I have no job now and am isolated. I've learned that money is an illusion and that you make your own choices to the point where you've ended up. Unfortunately, not everyone gets the same chances in the world.

Life's Unfairness and Moving Forward

That's why I live with the idea that life is unfair, but you can make it a little better. Because every improvement, no matter where you come from, is what everyone wants. Some people are born in countries where opportunities are plentiful; others are not. But ultimately, we must not sit still; acceptance and progress will help you move forward.

My Resolution

I don't need pity; I am a victim of my own choices. The monster inside me has destroyed me as a hopeless, pitiful person. My posture is bad, my bank account is low, and yet, despite all the negatives, a few books and a goal have shown me the light. I am going to take you on a journey of someone who is down but understands that there are many people who are even lower and in war.

My Goal and Challenge

Although I currently don't have money for a gym or luxury courses, I have done some things smartly. I can only tell you, always think 360 degrees. Don't look for one teacher but two. My goal is to become a full-stack programmer and to be a fit human being with good posture—no nerd neck, forward shoulder or hunchback—and of course, healthy food, brain food, gut food, hydration, and muscles. I want to challenge myself and show the world that on this day, May 15th, 2024, this pitiful man who has made many wrong decisions will transform into a beacon of light and perseverance. I am going to show you that an outcast can achieve this. You only live once, and time comes only once. There is only one May 15th, 2024, 6 AM, and once the minute passes, we cannot go back.

Programming Path and Financial Discipline

Now that I am poor, I keep a detailed Excel sheet that monitors my finances and a visual dashboard of my financial life, which currently looks red and very bleak.

Detailed Plan:

1. **Starting Point:** I managed to get the GitHub Student Pack. Being poor has made me creative. I have found some courses through various means. My path focuses first on HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
2. **Initial Learning:** I recommend taking notes during lessons, either on pen and paper or a digital tablet. Writing helps you remember more than not doing so.

**The Path:**

1. Begin with Scrimba.com (From GitHub student, you get 1 month free; because I am poor, I must complete HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in that month, meaning full attention and free days as time is limited in this case).

2 Move on to Advanced CSS by Jonas Schedtmann on Udemy.
3 Then, I will start all over again with Angela Yu's Udemy bootcamp. She explains well and comes from a non-IT technical background, which provides a good perspective.
4.After Angela, I will go to Colt Steele to learn good concepts again and some different tips and tricks.

1. After Colt Steele, I will go to FrontEndMasters to learn all the professional tips and tricks from people who have actually worked in the industry. I will start with FrontEndMasters last because it is very technical and not really an educational experience. FrontEndMasters is ideal last to professionalize any trained knowledge and possibly unlearn incorrect methods. You get 6 months free with the GitHub Student Pack.

6.After FrontEndMasters, it's time to earn money as a freelancer.

1. When I have some money, I will access more expensive courses.

I’m struggling with my mental health right now and it’s been this way for as long as I can remember it’s just getting to the point where it’s becoming more and more unbearable to wake up and wanna do anything at all feeling numb and depressed to the point I just look at the walls in my room for entertainment and just keep fighting myself for hours on end about things I’ve would have done differently or things I wish I didn’t do or just morbid thoughts about harming myself in different ways I’m alone on a day to day basis and it’s become a everyday thing I feel trapped in my own body and it’s hard to do all of this alone I miss having a best friend who knew me inside and out and all I ever really needed was her and I lost all my confidence all my secrets and the memories have faded and it’s hard to remember all the great memories we had together it makes me wish I took more pictures with her or videos something that can bring me back to those times even now it’s hard to look at her on my phone I don’t even like going through my gallery on my phone and I don’t know why I can’t face it all on my own I’m not used to being alone even after 4 years of being alone. I can’t stand being by myself I’ve been trying to fill this void deep inside me but whenever I do it turns into another life lesson but with the strength I have left I keep trying to fill the void or patch up the best way I know how trying to keep my mind busy with other people trying not to focus on the problem that are built inside me. I said all this to say will anyone be my friend I’m really trying to be positive and hopefully I can find a friend who actually cares about me and values a friendship and is just a great ball of energy! NFL: Nabers possesses the competitive fire and instincts teams look for in an elite receiver. The LSU wideout is a big-time playmaker who can make the game easier for Daniel Jones with his route-running and yards-after-the-catch ability, turning short passes into big gains for Big Blue.
CBS Sports: A+. I love this pick for the Giants. It says they didn’t believe in the quarterbacks who were left and now they get a playmaker on the outside. This kid will be a star.
ESPN: It's hard to have complaints landing a receiver as explosive as Nabers, especially once it became evident that getting any of the top three quarterbacks (Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels and Drake Maye) wasn't possible. The Giants talked with New England on Thursday about pick No. 3 for Maye. But the decision was always in New England's hands. That was the problem with landing outside those top three picks. The Giants clearly weren't willing to settle for former Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy.

NFL: Nubin might lack a superpower as a prospect with no special trait, but he does a lot of things very well. He can be the Giants' post safety as an assignment-sound defender who will bring excellent intensity and commitment to the locker room.
CBS Sports: B-. Film is first-round caliber. Such a cerebral player with outstanding ball skills and solid range. Amazing ball skills. Will find the ball if it’s in his area. Best away from the line patrolling. Some stiffness as an athlete and not a true burner. Average testing numbers.
ESPN: A safety makes sense after the Giants allowed Xavier McKinney to walk this offseason. McKinney signed a massive deal with the Green Bay Packers. That left the Giants with Jason Pinnock and Dane Belton as the top two safeties on the depth chart. Nubin gives new defensive coordinator Shane Bowen an instinctive and versatile safety to work with. Nubin's pro comp is former Denver Broncos Pro Bowl safety Justin Simmons. The Giants would certainly take that.

Round 3, Pick 70 - Andru Phillips, CB, Kentucky:
NFL: Phillips had a few rough games last season, but he could develop into a useful piece in the Giants secondary, either as a nickel or an outside safety. His size and ball production are subpar, but his toughness and tackling skill(s) give him a solid floor.
CBS Sports: B-. Silky smooth inside-out CB. Serious juice in his lower half. Not incredibly long but perfect size to play at nickel in the NFL. Incredibly willing in run support but does miss plenty of tackles. Quicker than fast but certainly not slow. Wished there was more ball production in college. Chippy type.
ESPN: Another position of need receives a reinforcement. Phillips joins a group that only has last year's first-round pick, Deonte Banks, penciled in as a starter. This is a player whom some teams had a second-round grade on. Phillips is a smooth cover cornerback who plays with physicality, especially for his size. The Giants clearly came into this draft -- and Day 2 in particular -- looking to upgrade the secondary.
NFL Absolutely Not Fake News: He cannot bring himself to throw away his Transformers.
Round 4, Pick 107 - Theo Johnson, TE, Penn State:
NFL: Johnson opened eyes at the Senior Bowl, being featured more as a receiver there than he often was at Penn State. His long, athletic frame makes him something of a Logan Thomas-like prospect and a good understudy to Darren Waller -- if he plays this year.
CBS Sports: B+. Elite tester. Huge frame with intimidating length. Was low-volume option at Penn State but has the explosive chops to become a better receiver in the pros. Ironically not a great blocker despite his towering, filled-out body type. Has just enough short-area quickness to separate on occasion in the NFL. Easy drops on film but counters with contested catches.
ESPN: Johnson could help fill the void if Darren Waller elects to retire. He is still contemplating his future. The Giants have been operating as if Waller is not on the roster. Johnson adds the physically gifted pass-catching element they would need in their offense. He has the size and speed to be a major threat at the NFL level. Daboll could be asking for an immediate contribution from their newest tight end. It's also worth noting that Johnson is the third of the Giants' top four draft picks to have a pre-draft visit. That is important to this regime.

Round 5, Pick 166 - Tyrone Tracy Jr., RB, Purdue:
NFL: A converted wideout, Tracy shifted to the backfield last year and did well with the opportunity, averaging a stout 6.3 yards per carry. If Malachi Corley is the Deebo Samuel Lite of this class, then Tracy is sort of the Corley Lite. I expect Tracy to be used extensively as a receiver out of the backfield.
CBS Sports: A. Former Iowa WR turned Purdue RB. Incredible bounce and agility to make defenders miss when they’re ready to make the tackle. Some breakaway speed too. Contact balance is good, not great. At times seems tentative hitting the hole but has the goods to make more than what’s blocked. Older prospect who’s new to the position.
ESPN: Tracy is a much-needed piece being added to the Giants' offensive backfield. New York had newly signed Devin Singletary backed up by Eric Gray and Gary Brightwell entering the draft. It's likely they would have taken Trey Benson two rounds earlier, had the Arizona Cardinals not taken him four spots ahead of the Giants. This gives Tracy a chance to make an immediate contribution, even if it's just as an option out of the backfield early in his career. He was a wide receiver up until last year, so there is room for growth despite already being 25 years old.

Round 6, Pick 183 - Darius Muasau, LB, UCLA:
NFL: Muasau reminded me a bit of former Vikings LB Kentrell Brothers, a short but stout hitter and playmaker around the line of scrimmage whose coverage deficiencies are a bit worrisome.
CBS Sports: A-. No-hesitation off-ball LB with length deficiency. Quicker than fast but can get to the ball in a hurry because of his smarts. Unafraid to meet blockers in the hole and give them a jolt. Average ball skills and tackling soundness. Feels like someone who can outplay draft position.
ESPN: Muasau brings speed and youth to the linebacking corps. He's also likely an immediate special teams contributor. There is a connection with Muasau to the Giants. Special teams coordinator Michael Ghobrial coached Muasau as a freshman at Hawaii. This played a part in the Giants' comfort with their sixth and final pick of the draft.

I finally got oral surgery done on Monday, May 6th, the thing I've waited for years to get done is finally done and I thought for sure this would bring me happiness and that my smile would return, and it did, for a while … but it didn't take long at all for grief and sadness to take over again, or for my smile to fade.
I go back next week to have the sutures removed and to have the implanted prosthesis adjusted. It hasn't been incredibly painful, nearly all of the swelling was gone after 4-5 days and the bruising is all but faded now, fitting to match my smile.
I got to witness the Aurora Borealis Friday night for the first time in my life right here in my backyard and I am still absolutely enthralled by the whole experience. I know some people get to see the Aurora very frequently but I don't and it's been on my bucket list for a very, very long time.
I didn't even know we were expecting such a sight here until just minutes before it began. I was sitting outside, on the front porch of my very good friend's house when I felt a sudden and severe change in energy and pressure. I assumed we were about to get some rain or a storm of some sort so I looked up to the sky and said, “hey, do you see those lights?”
Hello Aurora! It split the sky right above our heads! It started out as lines of bright white light but quickly transformed into brilliant, undulating colors that danced effortlessly among our stars, between the veil and weave. Its maw appeared wide, its voice transferred into light, and its energy and messages were flowing. So much was received, so much was shared.
I wanted so badly to believe in what I was seeing and even more to believe in what I was feeling … but like all things, the moment was fleeting and I soon found myself back in my usual way, alone and crying. I decided to hop on Zillow for no good reason at all, planning to look anywhere but where I currently am but it opened to my last search and … how am I supposed to be expected to not read into everything?
Is it not strange that a little spot in that location would be open just now? Just as I'm considering a change of scenery … Why there? Why now? And why did I find it on the night of the Aurora? I mean for real, what does it mean? Maybe nothing and maybe everything. I'm not sure it matters either way, I'm still paralyzed by grief and feel unable to trust myself to make any decisions or changes.
I spent most of Sunday crying. It was Mother's Day and those tears were for many reasons. I have so many conflicting thoughts and emotions about my mother and about myself as a mother but that's an entry for another day.
It's Tuesday now and I think the surgery really did me some good, I haven't been drinking during the healing phase and I'm really trying to take better care of myself, well, my physical body – at least I know what my body requires to heal, I wish the rest of me could heal so easily.
14 months and nothing has changed. It is not time that heals but love and after all I've lost, I guess I just no longer have enough …

Donny
Background
-Grew up in a not so friendly neighbourhood with 6 other siblings, this shaped him to naturally want to settle problems by fighting. Only his dad was a fellow sorcerer in the family, and their CT's were a secret between each other. Once he turned 18 Donny decided to become hired muscle because he was good at it and liked winning. He would grow in noteriety, becoming a high class bounty hunter, he'll get you an artifact, kill a man, or act as a bodyguard, as long as there's action involved he'd be there (for the money). On one of his many journies, Donny came across the ever chaotic "Ball?", which he believed fit his fightingstyle, and keeps on him at all times.

personality
-very chill, arrogant, quick witted, charming/smooth but in a bad news kinda way (like "hmm, this dude is definetly secretly evil"). The type to love fighting, but doesn't make it his entire personality. He's the type to be friendly with the person he was sent to kill. Deep down he is a lot more crazy though. 100% believes in "only the strong survive", he doesn't kill people willy nilly, but does think that any person should be able to defend their life in any circumstance and anything less than is their fault entirely.

Appearance
-25 years old, 5'11", just a little bulky, he has italian heritage so he's "brownish or darker olive to moderate brown" (wikipedia) with greasy slicked back black hair. He wears a white tank top with a gold chain, a green, white sleeved, letterman Jacket, and jeans. Always with a cigarette in hand.

-CE Trait - Oxidizer: A naturally really hot CE, but moving quickly, be it an arm, leg, or the whole body, causes the CE to catche fire momentarily.

Cursed Technique - Flash Crash Thrash
-Innate Technique: the user can force their cursed energy and objects imbued with it to spontaneously gain a burst of energy in any chosen direction. In practice, this makes it look like the user moves a part of their body forward then very quickly “flys” along that path (like little Mac’s neutral b [look it up]), going upwards is optional too (like Ken’s up b). It can also be used multiple times to give the illusion of flight.
TL;DR: the user can make things enveloped in their CE (including themselves) boost, or be propelled in any chosen direction.
-Extension 1 (infernal rend): Able to rip shit apart by applying cursed energy to a thing and then having two streams move in opposite directions.
-Extension 2 (horizon hellflame geyser): Charge CE in hands for a moment, then release in either one big shot or in short burst laser, and Ce trait is activated on them so they catch fire. This extension requires: Miwa's BV but for better output, and using a double handsign to charge up CE at a reduce cost.
-Extension 3 (blazing parakeet): since the user can force a burst of energy into their CE they can rediret it mid air.
-RCT: As mentioned by GodofSmore, the opposite of movement is not moving, so Donny is able to freeze anything covered by their CE (including their body), as well as in midair.
-Domain Expansion (glorious dilema drawbreaker): HAND SIGNS: make x with hands. DOMAIN ENVIRONMENT: boxing stadium. SURE-HIT: near by objects and ethereal punches.
Maximum (Ever burning eternal passion): instead of a burst of energy, the users CT allows for a continuous stream

Weakness(es)
-The ability applies to specifically the users CE so unless one is able to fully envelope an enemy in their CE they can't use extension 1 on them.
-all close range besides.
-very predictable attacks.

Strategies
-stick to high mobility Ariel attacks. Specifcally, propel oneself into the air, then use CT to divebomb really fast.
-use the speed granted by the CT to corneclose the gap of the enemy and keep them on their tows.
-do like a tornado spin.

Tagged health cuz I guess it's a health thing?
But ok, my question is, does anyone else get random bruises in weird places? Like I constantly get them on my apron belly, usually in the same spot. I used to think it must be something to do with how I sleep or something but I don't sleep on that side of my body anymore? And it's a big bruise, like 2inches long and 1 wide, always on my right side.
I also get them on my legs sometimes, but less frequently. None of these correlate with any injuries/walking into walls etc and I've seen plenty of jokes about how girls just randomly get bruises on their legs but I feel like that isn't acting normal? I could be wrong and might just be panicking over nothing

I wasn't active until the start of this year so I missed the whole 2023 advent calendar. out of interest I went back and looked at the whole orion/clues etc thing that happened tangentially to the advent in case it yielded any clues for the upcoming plot. watching back over the daily animations and prizes, I noticed:
day 5: Y25 plushie released as a prize. it has previously been speculated that this yurble is the one appearing in the vandalized neopian travel posters.
day 6: orion dialogue suggests he believes "something terrible is about to happen". the prize released on this day is a book "the big book of intermediate evil plots". more interestingly, the accompanying animation shows a lupe being haunted by the shadow usul.
going to shadow usul's neopedia page, we can read a short text detailing the shadow usul setting upon someone in a dark forest:
"Don't tell me... NO!" Toby shouted as he turned to look, only to see that the sky was filled with waves of boulders, as big as codestones, coming right at him. "AAARRGH!!!" The poor Gelert bellowed, as his body became swollen and bruised, racked by a pain the likes of which he'd never experienced before.
"Heh, magic pebbles." the Shadow Usul chuckled, while unleashing a mighty torrent on the poor, overmatched Gelert. "But I'm only getting started... just watch!"
magic pebble was an old faerie ability used in the battledome, but has been retired for some time. shadow usul goes on to use two? other retired abilities but this is the only one explicitly named, and is also her opening move.
day 7: what are the prizes today? pebble and Christmas Rock.
?????? what has shadow usul got to do with anything? who knows. just thought it was strange coincidence. I Personally hoping this means we un-retire all those interesting moves when the battledome part of the plot begins. but for now I'm just going to stash a bunch of those advent prizes in case they're relevant later. please roast me in the comments if this is unhinged/been speculated on before and I'm late to the party
